I sound crazy. But I've been seeing smth on TikTok about 'Mr. X'? I was wondering if you knew anything?

The gist is that some psycho brought a gun to a concert after loads of Twitter things, but do you know anything? Was it real?

Hi,

Surprisingly, Mr. X was something I very vaguely remember from when I was originally into One Direction, and I actually didn't get the full scoop until I came back more recently. Mr. X started as a Twitter account; no one was quite sure if they were just a single person or more than one, but they used to predict things that were supposed to happen in the fandom. Things like Payzer (Liam and Danielle) getting back together in 2011 after they broke up for a little bit or Haylor being spotted in public in Dec 2012. Mr. X claimed that Larry would come out at the show, stating that the "Larry Storm" would wage and unleash fury. (I like the name Larry Storm; we should use that). Apparently, they had an inside source to make their claims.

However, it all came to a head on December 3rd, 2012, when 1D was supposed to have a show at MSG in New York. They had been predicting things that were coming true, so people began believing them. They stated someone was going to be at the show with a gun, stating that this person was ready to shoot Harry, in front of everyone. While there is no proof that someone had a gun that night, many believe that someone was arrested at the show with a gun.

Many people continued to believe in Mr. X, stating that there was also a Mr. W, a Mr. Y, and a Mr. Z, all a part of this group who could predict what would happen. They would spend relatively quiet from the end of 2012 to 2015, with no attempts at predictions until 2015. With the inception of the ultimate conspiracy theory - Babygate, they returned to create conspiracy and predictions.

Eventually, there was a second death threat against Harry through Mr. X or believed to be a part of the prediction group. It called for a similar action as was above during the MetLife concert on August 5th, 2015. (Ironically enough, I was at this show, and nothing happened except maybe a little delay with the boys opening the show). When nothing happened, Mr. X faded away with the prediction that the boys would break up by the end of the year, something we all knew was going to happen in August that year.

why is it that 'npc' has come to mean 'boring'?

Whilst there are lots of 'boring' npcs, a lot of them are also key parts of the game

take tom nook for example, whilst he may be an npc, he's a key part of whatever animal crossing game you are playing

or in spyro, the dragons you rescue are incredibly important- whether it be for game play advice or lore drops

There should be a fanfic writing game called the showrunners challenge where someone writes a story and partway through someone else can play things like "actor leaves after 4000 more words" or "topic now too politically sensitive due to unforeseen world events" or "lost rights to that reference"
