you wake up to an empty bed, your daughter and husband both nowhere to be seen, but you could hear little giggles and laughter coming from downstairs.

you head down and see both of them wearing matching aprons, you daughter sitting on the counter while carlos mixed the pancake batter by her side.

“and what are my two little chefs cooking up?”

at the sound of your voice, they both turn to the entryway to see you with a very amused look on your face.

“mommy! we were supposed to surprise you!” your daughter exclaims. “aw, i’m sorry i ruined the surprise. but you guys sounded like you were having so much fun and i didn’t wanna be left out,” you say, going over to give her a lkiss on her forehead.

“and where’s my good morning kiss?” your husband speaks up. “be patient,” you giggle before pecking his lips quickly.

“so what’re we making?” you ask. “oh no. we are the ones cooking. you don’t get to do any of the work,” carlos shakes his head, leading you to the dining table so you could just watch them.

“oh come on. i’m already here. let me help,” you say but they both shake their heads. “nope! you’re not allowed to help mommy!” your daughter exclaims.

you sit and watch as the two of them mixed the batter, carlos instructing her on what to do for each step. while you watched, you were able to sneak a few cute photos of them.

“okay mi amor, slowly,” carlos says as he helps your daughter flip the pancakes. “that’s it! look at that, absolutely perfect. don’t think i’ve ever seen a more delicious looking pancake,” he says, making her giggle.

she helps him with a few more before he takes over and makes the rest himself so it was faster then they joined you at the table.

“so? are they good mommy?” your daughter watches as you take a bite. “mmm, your daddy was right. these are the tastiest pancakes ever,” you hum, making her smile even wider.

“what? they can’t be better than mine!” carlos teases. “sorry babe, but they’re ten times better than yours,” you say, watching as your daughter stuck her tongue out at him.

“oh really now?” carlos starts as he pulls her onto his lap. “i think the tickle monster would disagree with that!” he exclaims before tickling her sides, filling the room with her giggles.

watching the way both of them are smiling and laughing puts an even bigger smile on your face. and giggles quickly start to spill from your lips when carlos and your daughter decide to team up and attack you with tickles.

-it starts with ray, kendra and sara. ray and kendra had a thing but so did kendra and sara, and kendra didn't wanna have to choose so she was just like "both? both." and ray and sara were cool with it so-

-ray and sara get closer because of it and that's how they start dating eventually, especially since kendra leaves and they're both SadTM, and they were already close so they just get closer

-then nate and amaya show up, and they kinda have a ThingTM with each other, and ray and nate kinda also have a ThingTM, and so do sara and amaya, so they're all kinda just like,, "all date? yes? cool." and that's where it really starts to kick off

-mick and amaya also kinda have a ThingTM but we headcanon mick as either demiromantic/demisexual or aroace or somewhere around there, and snart is his Person, but he has a QPR type of thing with amaya, lkissing and cuddling and stuff

-when the time bureau disbands the legends they don't scatter to wherever they end up. instead they all get an apartment together somewhere and it's so chaotic.

-zari gets in because of amaya, and then also starts dating sara too

-ava obviously gets in because of sara (when they first started dating sara was like "btw i'm dating like at least half of my team so i hope you're cool with that n if you're not then i'm sorry but this won't work". ava already knew and was cool with it)

-super big angst after the whole death totem thing because sara hurt her partners and she feels like absolute shit about it and tries to isolate herself from them because of it but all of them are like "babe no, no way, we're not letting you do that. it wasn't you, it was mallus, we love you so much, sara, don't you dare push us away."

-ava probably also starts dating zari after her and sara are more established and after she gets comfortable enough with the rest of the team (bc she was def cool with the poly thing but she's also a very nervous/awkward person and she wanted to get comfortable enough around the team before she got into anymore relationships besides sara lol)

-charlie def doesn't get into any relationships in the beginning and there's a lot of extra pain bc of amaya, but then zari and charlie get closer, and charlie kisses her. zari barges in on ray and sara's date night so they know it's SeriousTM and zari talks through how guilty she feels n everything. sara tells her "if you like them, you like them" and zari is just "yeah but,,, amaya, it's like betraying her". eventually zari gets over that he though and she starts dating charlie, and then the other legends go to zari for ways to woo charlie and charlie also goes to zari for ways to woo all the legends and zari is just like 😐

-nora definitely gets in through ray but then also starts dating ava, and then mona gets in through nora

-ava and charlie kinda "hate" each other at first, and everyone else is like "oh gosh hope this doesn't get in the way of our relationship" meanwhile sara and zari are both just like ":/ make out already"

-it's because ava lowkey had a crush on amaya but never admitted it to herself bc "i just really respect her bc she's the least idiotic/reckless of the stupid legends" but then amaya leaves and it Hurts but she's still lowkey in denial until charlie shows up and she thinks it's amaya and gets excited, but then finds out that charlie is charlie and the excitement goes back to hurt and a little anger. and then because ava seems like she hates charlie, charlie's just like "aight fucker i hate you too then", and they keep it up for the Longest time and sara and zari are just,,, So Tired

-off those last points, sara and zari make a big deal out of the fact that "our dumbasses finally took their heads out of their asses!!" when charlie and ava announce they're dating. by throwing a party. ava and charlie are Unimpressed but their partners are having a good time so they allow it
