Bwick - What awe some things you diswike?

Kleo is not a big fan of messy environments. She’s got some OCD and will have trouble letting a mess go unorganized. She’s also not a fan of bitter foods, preferring sweet things. 

Peach - Are you generally a more gentle and soft spoken person or a louder and rougher person?

As a rule, she’s much more soft-spoken. Very gentle prodding in the right direction. I imagine there exists enough stimulus out there to cause a meltdown of some sort, but I haven’t run into it.

Sepia - Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?

Does telling the future count as a hobby? What about talking to inanimate objects? More seriously she’s from a Hive and while they celebrate certain things like the arts they’re still ultimately a bit low on the individuality scale. Kleo is. the extreme embodiment of that fact. She does her job for the Hive because she likes being accepted by them, and aside from that you can mostly find her honing her skills.

The Thriae are a trio of Naiads in Greek mythology who preside over the Corycian Cave of Mount Parnassus in Phocis. They are also the patrons of bees.

The trio consists of the sisters Melaina, Kleodora and Daphnis. They all became the lovers of gods; with both Melaina and Daphnis bearing children for Apollo, and Kleodora giving birth to Parnassos, the founder of the city of Parnassus, with Poseidon.

Mount Parnassus is named after Parnassos, the son of the nymph Kleodora and the man Kleopompus.

According to Greek mythology, this mountain was sacred to Dionysus and the Dionysian mysteries; it was also sacred to Apollo and the Corycian nymphs, and it was the home of the Muses. The mountain was also favored by the Dorians. As the home of the Muses, Parnassus became known as the home of poetry, music, and learning.

It is suggested that the name derives from parnassus, the possessive adjective of the Luwian word parna meaning house, or specifically temple. So the name effectively means the mountain of the house of the gods.

So that would make Grass of Parnassus the lawn at the house of the mythological gods. Imagine walking barefoot through acres of these stunning white and green wildflowers.

Regardless of whether any of this is true or just myth, it’s fun to consider. What is true is that the significant biodiversity, both in flora and in fauna, led authorities to the establishment of the National Park of Parnassus in 1938. The slopes of Mount Parnassus are composed of two ski sections, Kellaria and Fterolakka, which together make up the largest ski center in Greece.

Grass of Parnassus, also known as bog stars, occur in arctic and alpine habitats, as well as in dune systems and fens, swamps, wet meadows, open seepage areas, and moist woods. In the Southern Appalachians they tend to be found in the high country, above at least 5,000 feet.

I’ve encountered these rare late summer blooms a couple of places: high on Mt. LeConte in the Smokies, and along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The North Carolina variety is Parnassia caroliniana, and is considered imperiled. Therefore I’m somewhat coy about exact locations. Poachers and all. If you study my photos below you can get some hints.

Sqltov- Kleodora has relatively few metal deposits easily accessible in the crust and due having little oxygen, making fire was rather difficult. They managed to discover it, but it took them a long time to get to metallurgy.

Thai’Qul- Living on an ocean planet is itself an inhibiting factor, and while they never developed fire, they did manage to utilize natural nuclear reactors within their planet’s ocean bed and eventually build their own.

Menagerites- Their world became so interconnected that they didn’t really look to the heavens as much as we do, at least until their world was saved and they took an interest in the species who saved them.

Kuhlanni- Getting slapped down as a society every 255,000 years tends to be an inhibiting factor in one’s development.

Iron Brains- They’re ordinarily so disconnected from the thinking speeds of other civilizations that, to them, fifty years is barely a long weekend. They can accelerate and decelerate, so time didn’t really become a factor to them until they had someone else they needed to interact with.

Really, there’s a lot of alien species out there, but most of them are stuck between microbes and hunter-gatherers. These 5 managed to obtain spaceflight after lots of trial and error, though not to the speed and extent that the Terrans managed in the same time. Sol had a Dyson Swarm 75% of the way done by the time first contact was made in 2198, while the Sqltov colonization fleet was taking its first real steps out into the galaxy.

Generally, the answer to the Fermi Paradox here is the Rare Technology Hypothesis: life itself is pretty common, but life that can actually has spaceflight is really rare.

As much as i liked the demoness design for my witchsona, she didn't really fit in the overall theme of the Bayonetta universe.

So i made a lovely bee demoness or godess based on greek mythology.

Madama Kleodora and her two sisters where once know as the prophetic Thriae, nymphs who lives on Mount of Parnassus. Kleodora fell in love with Poseidon and became the mother of Parnassos. Poseidon took their son away and left Kleodora. The griefing woman couldn't stand the pain of her lover her so she made a contract with a demon who promised Kleodora to help her kill Poseidon. After the task was done she got dragged into hell and got reincarnated as a powerful demon.
