“First of all, I love the band and I don't think they are responsible for It but, have you noticed that the person who takes care of the social media posts never bother to credit the photographer?
And have you noticed that the photographer in question appears every time In the comments by posting emojls but never saying that it's "his" photo?
I don't think we should get upset about this or speak badly of the band, but I do think it's important to give credit to everyone's work and be grateful for It. It's Just a reflex to take!“

Interview with Phoebe Cheong
On Wednesday the 31st of March, I had an informal interview over zoom with New York based fashion & lifestyle photographer Phoebe Cheong. I asked her all of the questions which I posted earlier on in my blog, as well as some more personal ones, tailored specifically to her work. It was extremely insightful and I learnt so much! I will listen back through the recording and type out notes from each of her answers.
Mark Steinmetz: Athens, Georgia, 1995, from the series South East
I’ve blogged it before but this picture still fascinates me. Maybe it was also a weird party house in 1995, but 10 years after this photo was taken, this place was a punk house and the kids who lived here let me, a stranger (pregnant, jobless, dislocated), live on their couch, and that was what first kept me in Athens.
