Y'know now Nezha has friends and has time playing some 'childish' games,
imagine his friends ask him to play jianzi (I think he plays that in the 2015 movie) and it's actually very healing for him since during his godly duties, he didn't have time to play his favorite game and maybe even tears up a little
(also it'd be funny if he gets too in to it and accidentally shoots a hole into the wall. Not just a crack, just straight hole through the wall
or heck, he kicks it up too high and the gang just assumes that the shuttlecock is lost forever and Nezha thinks, nahh it can't go that far
But then later wukong gets a call from Chang'E like
"Hey, I saw a shuttlecock land in my garden yesterday, it's a bit burnt but I saw it had Nezha's name on it and he's staying with you right?")
aww! <3
and yes! Jianzhi is the game 2019 Nezha plays; with his mom (who wears full-armor and enthusiastically encourages him), and with Ao Bing and the little girl they save.
Nezha is convinced to play some Jianzi with with his school friends, only to get so lost in the fun of it that he forgets his own inherent strength and it dents the concrete where it lands. He panics. He just showed the type of strength that injured his family and incurred terrible wrath from his father and the gods. Nezha finds himself sobbing before he could register that he isn't in trouble.
His friends praise his skill. They comfort him when they notice his tears. They celebrate his strength! Nezha finds himself crying for different reasons.
They retrieve a back-up shuttlecock.
The second one gets kicked a little too high and the kids just shrug that it's space's problem now. Nezha is still a little bashful at turning their shuttlecock into a UFO.
Chang'e astral-calls Macaque and Wukong later that day saying that she found a burnt shuttlecock in her garden, and that she knows Nezha is staying with them rn. Has the little guy made friends? She's delighted for him! Just advise him to be a little more careful when aiming for the sky. He took out Wu Gang's tree. :D

Something simple. A game of Jianzi. Dunno what it's called in English. You kick the feathers in the air, and I am very bad at it.

[image description: four digital drawings of Ao Bing and Li Nezha from the 2019 Ne Zha film. The first image is a bust drawing facing left of Nezha, whose hair is done up in two buns and is wearing a red vest. A red mark is on Nezha’s forehead. The second drawing is a front facing bust drawing  of Ao Bing with a light blue background. Ao Bing has long light blue hair partially tied into a bun with horns sprouting out of the forehead near the hairline. Ao Bing is looking upwards with a neutral expression. The third drawing is posed similarly to the second but with a warm grey background, with this image depicting Nezha in full demonic form. The Red Armillary Sash is wrapped around the shoulder’s and Nehza’s hair is loose and flowing towards the right. Nezha has a neutral epression with brows furrowed. The fourth drawing is both Ao Bing and Nezha playing jianzi with each other. Ao Bing is kicking the jianzi with his foot. /end image description]

What sort of games do you think were played in the crèche? I’m partial to batu seremban (five stones) but there’s also chapteh (kick the shuttlecock) which is pretty fun
This is a lovely ask!
I think Batu Seremban is a good choice! It's easy to play and often played by children! I know a variance of it in Indonesia that named Bekel (using Bola Bekel and Biji Bekels) which became rare lately but I had fond memory of playing it. I know for a fact that that children can be quite competitive over it and honestly when being immersed with games it just be like that XD. The variance of it in East Asia would be Otedama (Japan), Gunggi (Korea) and Jianshiji (China).
Chapteh/Capteh is a fun one too! And I imagine that considering that even Younglings in Younglings arc are acrobatic, playing Chapteh can be very appealing to them. It’s also a pretty good game for body’s balance! Also, the feathered shuttlecock can be made by themselves I can imagine the fun in the creche children when they introduce to it! (For a fun fact, Chapteh/Capteh itself is originated from Jianzi from China)
Board games that like Shogi (Japan) and Go (Japan) and Xianqi (China) can possibly be one of the type of game that are popular in all ages in the Temple, plus it’s a good exercise for mind and chance to bond with people from various ages. Imagine those baby Jedi trying to figure out Go together while watching the other Jedi playing it and then an impromptu lesson to learn about it <3  Also Fukuwarai (Or similarly Pin the Tail on the Donkey in America) but instead with Face and Donkey, it’s use Loth-cat. They played with blindfolded, sense it with the Force to build spatial awareness! (This idea is thanks to @3piox ).
I also think Karuta (which more like Competitive Karuta in my mind) but with poetry that written by some artist between Jedi! Also good to train reflex, spatial awareness and hearing. It’s good for eye-to-hand coordinates. Also maybe Kendama, imagine the creche baby showing off some extreme grip and moves lmao Kendama never been more intense.
There also options that like Skipping rope, Hide-and-Seek and many more that popular in Asia.
Oh and my friend, Virdant, actually write some cute games playing by younglings and it’s delightful! The name is Home-onym, please read it for some cute Jedi Younglings content!
Thanks for the ask, I have fun thinking for this one with my friends <3

After class at Sunday Chinese school, I'd sometimes play jianzi, a Chinese sport where players pass around a shuttlecock—the jianzi—without using hands. Chun Li can kick a hundred times in a second; she'd probably maybe be pretty so-so at jianzi, right?

So what if 2019 nezha visits lmk au nezha and lmk nezha visits 2019's home and family?
And something tells me that lmk nezha is uncomfortable around 2019's father and i can also imagine
Some of the monkie gang and swk taging along with him.
2019!Nezha I feel doesn't listen much to the LMK adults, cus duh they're boring adults. Runs around causing havoc on FFM and in the city if left to his own devices. But he gets along like a house on fire with Mei.
Mei, trying to keep the kid occupied: "You like games, little man?" 2019!Nezha: "I'm not little!... but I like Jianzi." Mei: "Ooo! Ye' old hacky-sack. We can do that." 2019!Nezha: "Ok, your funeral." 2019!Nezha: *kicks the Jianzi so hard Mei gets tossed back a few feet* Mei, stunned for only a second: "That... was... wicked! C'mon! Let me see how hard I kick it back!" 2019!Nezha: "Aren't you hurt?" Mei: "I'm a dragon, dummy. I've been hurt worse by MK's cooking." 2019!Nezha, delighted grin: "Ok! But I won't hold back!" Mei, lines up her like: "Don't expect you to, mini-Nezha!" 2019!Nezha: "I'm not mini!"
MK, Bai He, and (reluctantly) Red join in later. Eventually that game ends when the jianzi catches fire.
In the case of the au where Nezha is pretty much adopted by Shadowpeach? 2019!Nezha feels... weird. They're kinda almost what he dreamed a "normal" family was like - a dad who loves him openly, and a mom/bama who's not afraid of him... feels good but Weird. He will stay a little longer for some dad jokes and another mooncake.
For LMK!Nezha though? He's very uncomfy right now.
Seeing what amounts to a younger version of himself is creeoy enough, but seeing a past version of his hometown/family home? Freaks him tf out.
Then he sees his dad??? And his mom?!?
Blue screen error.
2019!Lady Yin is crying immediately. LMK!Nezha almost looks like what she imagines her own son would like had he been able to grow up. 2019!Li Jing is convinced that the LMK!Nezha is some kind of imposter and tries cutting him down. LMK!Nezha *quickly* grabs Li Jing's sword and disarms him peacefully.
LMK!Nezha: "Please understand, if you had been the father I knew; I would have turned that sword on you. Your true son is safe where he is. Hug him more often." *looks sadly at Lady Yin before leaving on his fire skates*
Both 2019!Nezha parents are very confused.
LMK!Nezha def hangs with Taiyi Zhenren for a bit though, even though he's probably not the same one as who taught him. Just nice to be reminded of his old master.

Sorky meets his friends in Sisophon, Cambodia, to play sey after work. “Every evening!” The sport is thought to have originated in ancient China, also known as Jianzi (毽子). The object is to keep the “shuttlecock” in the air as long as possible, by only kicking it with your feet. #unusualsports #nohands #Cambodia #Sisophon #จังหวัดศรีโสภณ #asia #photography #humanstories #travel #streetphotography #photooftheday #makeportraits #street #photographer #travelphotography #instagood #picoftheday #life https://www.instagram.com/p/B2otmOlhIM4/?igshid=yq6unljthskr

Day 3- Battle. I grew up in China. 'Jianzi' was popular among children's for generations. It's basically some heavy metal at the bottom and feathers at the top. You can kick it and do tricks. It was a very competitive sport among us 3rd, 4th graders! Everyone was playing it between class and after school to compete who can kick it for the longest. Bloody battles they were! #childhoodweek #chilldhoodweek2017

Batang 90’s Classic Toys
While todays kids are busy playing with feelings and emotions. Or busy protecting their towers in an online games, 90’s kids are busy playing with this little toys;
HOLEN/ JOLEN
One of the popular toy that traces its roots to ancient civilizations, the marbles come in different sizes and are usually made of glass with melted pigments. Known to Filipino kids as holen or jolen, these toys are played indoors or outdoors and encourage the players to get down and dirty.Different variations of the game exist, the most popular of which require a player to flick a marble and hit a group of marble inside a circle. Those that went outside the circle automatically become part of the winning player’s collection.
TRUMPO
The trumpo or Philippine tops is a conical toy of ancient origins that had fascinated Pinoy kids long before the advent of Beyblades. It is similar to the American top but much smaller. Although you could buy ready-made tops, most kids back then preferred to have an improvised trumpo, usually carved from hardwood or guava branches.
TEKS
Popularly known to Filipino kids as “teks,” these cards are similar to NBA collectible cards, except the former was commonly played in a betting game wherein the winning player takes home the cards.
SIPA
Made with a small metal washer and colorful plastic straws serving as its tail, this shuttlecock-like toy is used in sipa, a game that had been the country’s national sport until it was replaced by Arnis in 2009.Sipa, which shares similarities with sepak takraw and China’s jianzi, requires balance and agility. No wonder why kids who played it back then were physically fit and had awesome kicking styles to boots.
RUBBER BAND
Also known as laste or Goms. The rubber band is every Filipino kid’s all-purpose toy: It can be used to play a competitive game called dampa with your friends; or as a weapon to hit the bully or the bully’s victim. You can also tie several rubber bands together to form a makeshift toy long enough to be used for the Chinese Garter game.
Enjoy playing mga kalaro!
