Timkon definitely. While I love Tim/Tam & Tim/Steph too, if we’re talking endgame material Timkon would definitely be the healthiest option imo. Tim/Ari & Tim/Zo while part of his story had to end at some point for similar reasons. So it’s kinda like Dick where I think all his relationships should be considered because they’re part of his growth, but unlike Dick there’s only one I could really imagine lasting… in the way they existed in canon that is. Timsteph or Tim/Tam could maybe work out better in a future AU after everyone has matured some more.

Anyway! Timkon. I got a soft spot for the “best friends in love” trope; make ‘em grow up together like those two canonly did from and I’m sold. They respect & care so much for each other and man they’re just way too funny.

gonna throw some bmc obc cast opinions under the cut because i watched just a couple clips bc i dont think i could sit through the cast album

i dont like will roland as jeremy. maybe im just attached to will connolly, but like... will roland has a very distinct sound that just doesnt fit jeremy imo. acting-wise? i bet he’s phenomenal! he plays the nerdy character extremely well from what i’ve seen, and p much every time i see him just acting as jeremy im chill w it. but his singing tends to lose me. no disrespect to him - he’s just not what i envisioned for jeremy, but i’m willing to bet he’s making the character work for him.

jason tam as the squip? i love him. ive never loved a man so much before oh my god. but no, really, i watched the clip of the actual “be more chill” song (and fuck, let me tell you: they lost me when they flossed on stage because i personally cant fuckin stand it when people incorporate modern dance into places it doesnt fit. it could have fit in bmc because its a modern show, but it felt so out of nowhere that it just rubbed me the wrong way) and hes honestly a phenomenal squip! i also love the design choice they went with since seeing the squip in all white??? hell yeah.

The week had treated her badly. She was physically and emotional drained. She had come back from a family gathering that caused more stress than relaxation.

Despite living by a distance away, she still felt compelled to go to these gatherings even though they tend to end like this: feeling like her world is falling apart.

Antoinette sat on top of the tallest building in the city. It was another day she didn’t want to be around other people. She wanted to cry. She wanted to scream. But she couldn’t, her body conditioned to withhold any emotions unless she was absolutely secluded, preferably in a soundproof chamber.

Instead, the feelings built inside of her, along with the danger of her powers wreaking very real havoc on the world below.

Hoovering over the edge, legs dangling from the side of the building where she sat, Antoinette looked down.

It looked so peaceful. She felt a wrenching in her chest as a voice in the back of her head spoke poisonous words. It whispered to her that true happiness was a lie, true happiness was a luxury she couldn’t afford nor did she deserve. The voice slithered around in her mind, like a Boa constrictor preparing to suffocate its prey.

She’d had enough.

Antoinette threw her head back and forced a frustrated sigh from her lungs, arms positioned behind her to stabilize her.

She screw her eyelids shut and hung her head, pulling into a seated fetal position. Propping her head on top of her knees she exhaled from her nostrils.

Antoinette felt herself missing Jason. His warmth. The way he seemed to wordlessly understand everything. The way he could comfort her with the simplest of touches. The way he smelled like home.

As the figid night air burnt and nipped at her cheeks, something warm slid down her face. Antoinette touched a finger to it and lifted it to examine what it was.

She breathed out a laugh.

“Of course,” she whispered a tentative smile weaseling itself onto her lips, chapped from being exposed to the cold wind.

Of couse she’d cried at the thought of Jason. He was special to her and she hadn’t figured out why.

She let herself cry. Her body had given up.

Now, tears flowed freely from her eyes, but they weren’t the tears of dejection. These were tears of gratitude. Thankful tears. Tears that flowed from the warm feelings that had began to bloom within her core. A bloom that wrapped the poisonous snake that had slithered around her and loosened it’s grip.

With her knees to her face, smile on her lips, and droplets of clear liquid leaving her eyes, Antoinette continued to stare down into the streets.

There was still hurt in her heart, but it was okay.

A buzzing broke her from the hypnotizing allure of the city below. It took her a second to figure out it was coming from her pocket. She usually never brought her phone with her when she went out like this, when she went out looking like Mage. Bringing it along when she was about increased its likelihood of being lost, hence why she never brought it along.

She slid the slim black cell from her back pant pocket and wiped the residual tears from her face, clearing her line of vision so that she could read the caller ID that lit up the phone screen.

“Wayne Manor”

Quickly, she slid to the answer option. Alfred never called her at such an hour unless it was an emergency. She braced herself for bad news

“Hello?” Antoinette’s voice cracked. She cleared her throat.

Waiting for a reply, she focused on background noise coming from the other end of the line.

She heard crashes, like ceramic plates breaking. Her heart began to race.

“Hello?” She repeated, louder this time.

Whoever was on the other end laughed. It sounded distant from the receiver, in the distance. The laughter continued, sounding even farther then directly into the receiver.

Antoinette furrowed her eyebrows, confused, readying herself to rush to Wayner Manor if anyone there was in danger.

“Nett,” followed by more laughter that began to transition to giggles.

It was Jason.

“It’s an emergency you’ve got to get here right away!”

Antoinette stood up. Even though he was laughing, there was a possibility he and whoever was with him at the house was at risk.

“Tamara’s throwing Damian around the house. Its the greatest thing,” he continued his uncontrollable laughter.

Now she heard Timmy too.

Her whole body relaxed, a dead pan replacing her previous worried expression.

“I can’t believe you,” she responded lowly. Her words most likely too quiet to be heard over the crashing and laughing that was happening on Jason’s side.

“What?” Jason asked.

“Nothing I’ll be right over.”

“Hurry or you’ll miss it.”

She slid her phone back into her pocket. She’d seen Tamara throw people around the house before and in fact, it was hilarious.

With a smile on her face and happiness in her heart from being able to hear Jason’s beautiful laugh so close to her ear, she flew off to Wayne Manor.
