Y/N POV

A small sigh leaves my lips as my door bell rings again, with a small groan I get up and walk to my door opening it. As soon as the door is opened all the way I make eye contact with an old friend causing my eyebrows to furrow.

"carlisle? why are you- sorry that's rude, is everything okay?"

A small chuckle leaves his lip as he shrugs "i need some help, can we have a chat?"

I nod and open the move out of the way allowing him to enter my home, I lead him into my living room where he takes a seat on my couch. I sit on the chair across from him as worry slowly overtakes my mind "carlisle? what is it? what's going on?"

He looks at me and asks "you know Edward right?" earning a nod from me "well...he recently got married, to a human..."

My eyes widen "what? why- wait why am i needed?"

He sighs and continues "she wound up pregnant on the honey moon and had the baby a few days ago, we turned her shortly after the birth but the volturi have caught wind of the child and are coming after her."

My heart sinks "and your planning on fighting them?"

He shakes his head no "not if we don't have to...you see- they think she is a immortal child but she has already grown. she looks to be around 10 now, she's actually only a few weeks old...were hoping we can prove to them that she isn't a threat to our kind without a fight but we need witnesses and just in case people who are willing to fight for her..."

I nod and take a deep breath while letting my gaze drift to the fireplace in my living room, on the mantle of it rests a bunch of old pictures...I slowly zone out on the picture of my son and my husband playing...

-FLASHBACK-

I look up when I hear laughing, a smile forms on my face as I see Jasper chasing James. I set the dish down and wipe my hands off on my dress skirt before making my way outside.

As i'm about to walk out the door I grab our camera and continue out. I snap a few pictures of my boys as they play around with each other. I set them on the rail of our porch and admire them, as I get lost in my thoughts I feel arms wrap around me causing me to jump

I look up and see Jasper looking back at me with a smile "well hello their darlin' "

I smile and turn around in his arms "hi cowboy" I say earning a chuckle from Jasper, he kisses my forehead then my nose and finally my lips before I hear a small southern accent yell out "mama!" I look down as his small arms wrap around my skirt

I smile and lean down picking him up as he cuddles close to me, I turn back around admiring the view as I lean back against my husband wondering how I got so lucky

-FLASHBACK OVER-

I snap out of the memory and wipe my eyes quickly when I hear Carlisle say my name again. I look up at him "i'll help..."

He smiles softly and gets up walking over to me and gently hugging me "my family thanks you...i'll wait for you to get a bag packed okay?"

I nod hugging back for a moment before getting up and heading up to my room and grabbing a bag, as I throw things into the bag and go through my closet my eyes land on an old photo album.

With shaky hands I grab it and walk back over to my bed and sit down. As I open the album tears immediately spring in my eyes as I see my old wedding photos, I continue going through the album when Carlisle comes into the room "everything okay?"

My head snaps up and I nod as he walks over and sits next to me, his eyes land on a 15 year old version of me holding a newborn baby, he looks back at me "is that..?"

I take a deep breath and nod before closing the book and placing it in my bag "my son...james.."

He watches me with pity in his eyes as I zip my bag and sling it over my shoulder, we both make our way downstairs and out to his car. As I get situated Carlisle glances over at me before staring forward again and starting the car, his mind was stuck on the picture of the baby, he looked so familiar but he just couldn't put his finger on why...

-TIME SKIP A FEW HOURS-

After a long dreamless nap I feel myself being shaken awake, I open my eyes and look over at Carlisle "were here"

I nod and stretch slightly before glancing around, i'm amazed at the beautiful house and all of the greenery, when I go to tell Carlisle my thoughts five people make their way out of the house

I sigh and get out of the car, Carlisle gets my bag out of the back seat as the child along with Edward and i'm guessing his wife approach me. I smile at Edward who smiles back

My eyes land on the child who is staring at me obviously confused, I slowly kneel down in front of her and smile "well hello there...i'm y/n what's your name sweetheart?"

She smiles back while giggling softly "i'm renesme...your accent is very pretty"

I smile and giggle softly as well "thank you" she makes eye contact with me and cups my face softly causing me to flinch slightly before allowing her to do whatever it is

My eyes widen slightly before allowing them to flutter close as I watch her memories. After a minute I open my eyes and look at her with amazement "you, young lady have an extraordinary gift..."

She smiles and looks back at her parents who are also smiling, she looks back at me with a confused look again "what are you?"

I giggle and stand up "i'm a hybrid...vampire and super soldier"

Her eyes widen and she looks back at her parents again, Edward nods and chuckles softly at her look of surprise, the door opens again and I look up to see a short dark haired girl who is smiling and makes her way down to us. "hi! i'm alice!"

I smile softly at her and make a noise of surprise when she pulls me into a hug "oh- hi! i'm y/n"

A giggle leaves her lips as she pulls back "i know, i can see the future. we are gonna get along well"

I nod and smile as she grabs my hand and leads me into the house...the house that is full of vampires...my nerves spike as I glance around making eye contact with random red eyes before my eyes land on a pair of wide yellow eyes

-FLASHBACK A FEW HOURS-

JASPERS POV

As I sit on the couch watching as Renesme introduces herself and shows her memories to all the vampires who are arriving, I hear a small gasp and my eyes snap over to Alice who is frozen. Me and Thomas make our way over to her with concern

She snaps out of it and looks at me as a large smile graces her face "your wife...she's alive..."

I stare at her confused "what?"

She continues smiling "she's alive and- and she is gonna be here soon to help. your gonna get your wife back jasper..."

Before I could say anything she walks away leaving me confused

-FLASHBACK OVER-

Y/N POV

As I take in his face and slowly realize who i'm staring at Alice smiles squeezes my hand and whispers "go...go see your husband"

I don't say anything and nod before slowly weaving my way through the crowd towards the person I thought I would never see again, the man i've loved since 1858

I stop in front of him and look up at him as tears slowly make their way down my cheeks "my jasper..."

All the sudden my feet leave the ground and i'm being pressed against his cold body. My arms wrap around his neck as my legs wrap around his waist

The feeling of being in my husbands arms after so long brings the most amount of comfort i've felt in a long time...a comfort that I can only hope is permanent...

Never Comin' Home Pt.5

past!Neytiri x reader - Ronal x reader

Description: Tensions have started rising between Ronal and Neytiri, Ronal has noticed the glances and longing gazes Neytiri has been sending you and she's fed up. What's gonna happen when she finally snaps?

WARNINGS: slight angst, preterm labor, cussing

RONAL'S POV

It's been a week..a week since I noticed the first hint of jealousy in Neytiri towards me and my mate..a whole week since a very bad feeling burrowed it's way into my gut.

I had finished my tasks early so I decided to go find y/n and watch her train the Sully's. Lately the Sully kids had practically started living with us, they were over all the time.

I can tell why y/n likes them so much though, they really are great kids.

I approach the beach and notice y/n and...Neytiri, now i'm not the jealous type- well maybe I am but they are mine. I don't share.

I walk over right to the shore line when I notice the way Neytiri was touching them. Her hands were on their biceps slowly making there way up to their neck

Anger overtakes my vision as I make my way over to the two. I smack Neytiri's hands off my mate and hiss. I feel y/n gently grab my arm but I yank it out of their grip and push Neytiri backwards causing her to hiss at me.

I hear y/n softly say my name but I ignore them "no! I have been nice, I have welcomed you, your husband and children into my home when I didn't have to! But what have you done-?"

I get cut off by Neytiri "nothing! I haven't done anything!"

I scoff "you have been watching and touching y/n every chance you get! They aren't yours anymore! I know it sucks cause I would feel and do the same things if they weren't mine but they are! they are mine and i'm not gonna ignore the gazes you send them or the touching that isn't needed anymore! it's disrespectful not only to my relationship with them but to your relationship with your mate! So do us all a favor and leave them alone!"

Neytiri stares at me shocked, I stare back also somewhat shocked. As Tsahik I am supposed to keep my emotions calm and in check but it's almost like someone or something overtook my body.

I flinch slightly when I feel someone gently grab my hand but relax when I realize it's only my mate...they pull me close to them while looking at Neytiri "we are going to take our leave now...I will let Tonowari know to find someone else to train you as my mate seems to not be comfortable with me doing it anymore."

As we make our way towards the beach I feel a small pain shoot through my stomach causing me to wince. I feel y/n look at me with worry in their eyes.

I nod slightly and continue walking with y/n following closely behind me. As we make our way to our Mauri another pain rips its way through my stomach. My knees give out causing y/n to wrap her arms around me and pick me up.

She runs into our medical Mauri and set me down on the mat a few healers make their way over to me and immediately start asking questions on what's going on. When y/n started telling them what my symptoms were my face pales and I sit up

"no. no. no. no." I watch as the same expressions overtake the healers face, as I go to stand up y/n grabs my arms pulling me to lay back down as panic starts setting in even more.

"y-y/n" they look at me gently grabbing my hands "i'm here ma'Ronal, i'm right here" I shake my head tightening my grip on her hands "t-this baby can't come. not yet. i-it's not time"

I watch as my mate tears up "my love...relax okay? everything is gonna be okay..." I shake my head no in denial before I hear a healer, i didn't even know had been checking me, say "tsahik...it is time to push"

My head continues to shake no but y/n gently cups my cheeks forcing me to look at them. "Ronal...i'm so sorry but please..please push my love..." I stare at her for a moment before nodding slowly and sitting up signaling i wanted my mate to sit behind me in support.

After situating myself into a comfortable position I finally bear down and push.

I keep my attention on my mate and listen as they whisper soft praises into my ear. After a good hour of pushing I feel a slight relief and look down to see the healer holding a very small baby girl.

I go to sit up when the healer get's up taking the baby over to the other healers to start working but y/n pulled me back down holding me close to them.

The exhaustion of the day's activities start taking it's toll on me but the feeling of watching my baby be taken away and not crying causes tears to start rolling down my face.

As I start crying my mate comforts me any way they can. They kiss my forehead as I slowly fall into a deep sleep...

Y/N POV

As Ronal falls asleep I gently lay her down and make my way over to the healers who were working on my new daughter. When they notice me standing they look at me "y/n...we have her heartbeat and oxygen up but it's gonna be a long road..."

(im making it where they have their own version of human technology lol)

I nod and thank them softly and watch as they go back to their areas, I turn my attention to my daughter who is hooked up to wires and intubated...

I sigh and sit down next to her admiring her while tearing up slightly. My mind starts wandering as I wonder how everything went downhill so fast...we were a happy family just a few months ago...now it seems like everything is going wrong

After about an hour of just staring at my new daughter I hear some movement behind me, my head snaps to behind me and I see Ronal slowly sitting up and looking around "y-y/n?"

I stand up and make my way over to her and kneel down next to her "hi mama..."

She looks at me "w-where is she? is she okay?"

I nod grabbing her hand and slowly move out of the way so she had a clear view of our daughter.

When she goes to stand up I gently pick her up into my arms "careful.." I walk over to our daughter and sit down next to her so Ronal can see her.

I watch as she leans forward and starts doing a ritual on her, I watch silently, knowing better than to interrupt her. She sits back up then leans back against me with a soft smile on her face "Ai' ite..."

I look at her confused "what?" her gaze meets mind "her name... Ai' ite"

A smile graces my face as I nod "it's beautiful..just like her..." She nods and looks back at our daughter "she will be okay...eywa says so..."

I nod and kiss the top of her head while silently praying that she was right...

Y/N POV

As I watch my boss target yet another Tulkun my stomach sinks. The feeling of immense dread and guilt has been eating at me for the past few weeks

I make my way back to the small closet I call a room on the ship and start packing my bags, the decision to get as far away from this bullshit as I can is truly the best option.

The plan to stop at a village called Awa'atlu is the next thing on the to-do list and I made the haste decision to get off and stay on the island to get away from these people.

As the ship comes to a stop I hear a loud horn sound and I slowly and quietly make my way to the exit with my bags. As I grab my mask and place it on my face two soldiers make there way towards me.

As I make eye contact with one the taller man speaks "wear are you going? your off today L/N"

Panic slowly takes over as I have a small stare down with the two men and before long the shorter of the duo also speaks up "and with your bag? you planning on leaving or something?"

I slowly shake my head and gently sit my bag down "just thought I might go see if they need help."

Before I let them say anything else I open the door and sprint out leaving my bag behind.

SOLDIERS POV

Me and my partner make eye contact with each other before looking back at the spot Y/N once stood "what the fuck..."

I slowly walk over to the bag she was holding and open it, anger slowly rises in me as I realize what was going on "She's betraying us..."

My partner looks at me with wide eyes "Then lets take care of her before she can"

Y/N POV

As I run through the small forest that lines the island I hear footsteps behind me, as I turn around I see the two soldiers running my way. I break into a full on run

"you cant run forever Y/N!"

"just come back so we don't have to hurt you!"

I huff and attempt to run faster, making sure to keep my guard up because of the battle going on.

I hear a gunshot then fall over when I feel a sharp pain in my side. When I look up the two soldiers are standing over me, one holding a gun and the other smirking. "we told you to come back...this is what happens when you forget what you are"

Coughs wrack through my body as I hold pressure on the wound. "i d-didn't forget i'm j-just not he-heartless"

The short soldier chuckles while still staring down at me "we aren't heartless darling, were doing whats right"

I shake my head and mumble some incoherent swear words as my vision starts blurring, right before I pass out I hear two thuds and feel something pick me up

RONAL POV

As I make my way through the woods in search of any injured I see a small human run past being what looks to be chased by two other humans, I listen for a moment before following after them quietly.

I watch as the point some sort of object at the small human and then a loud noise goes off and the small human falls over and starts bleeding.

I grip my spear tighter and listen as they taunt her, my ears perk up when the realization that she turned on the to help us sets in. I quickly run over and smack both of them over the head with my spear before stabbing them.

After making sure they weren't alive I gently pick the small girl up and make my way back to the main part of the island

Y/N POV

As my eyes slowly flutter open I feel some rather large hands doing something to my body. When my vision clears panic spikes again and I go to sit up and leave but the woman pushes me back down saying something

"lay down, don't move demon"

I stay still not knowing what shes saying, I know a little Navi but not a lot. As I look down I see her cleaning up the wound and stitching it up

"does it hurt?" she looks up at me

I stare at her confused for a moment before saying "i don't speak fluent Navi..."

She huffs in obvious frustration "of course not.." she looks at me "does it hurt?"

My eyebrows raise at her choppy English but I shake my head no so she gets back to working on my side roughly.

-TIME SKIP TWO WEEKS-

During my stay on this beautiful island I've been helping rebuild the damaged homes that the humans caused. I've met the olo'ekytan who has graciously allowed me to stay.

Ronal- Tsahik has been very protective and caring towards me while also being hostile and rough. Speaking of, as I sit on the beach right now she makes her way over to me with a straight face

She takes a seat next to me and stares out at the ocean before I look over at her and ask "how has your day been?"

She looks over at me and stares confused causing me to chuckle softly "I asked how you day has been"

She nods and hums quietly "it has been good, yours?"

I smile at her chopped English and nod "good.."

She stares at me for awhile before looking away

I look at her and use the Navi i've been learning "i've decided to leave soon.."

Her head snaps over to me almost angrily "why? where will you go?"

I shrug "I don't know, somewhere with the Omatikaya probably. They accept humans I think"

She growls lowly causing me to stare at her confused "we accept you- you can't leave its dangerous and I won't allow it"

She speaks fast causing me to not translate it "wha- I don't understand"

I watch as she stands up angrily before grabbing my arm causing a small yelp to leave my mouth. Ronal tugs me to her mauri and shoves me in causing me to tumble over due to our size difference. "you will not be going."

My confusion only grows "why? you dont want me hear, its obvious!"

Her hard gaze lands on me "Lies! I want you here- I have been courting yo- trying to court you at least."

I stare at her shocked "you've been courting me? why haven't you said anything?"

"because- I dont know because I haven't!"

I watch amused at her frustration as she paces back and forth "Ronal, I would love for you to court me"

She looks over at me "y-you would?"

I smile nodding "absolutely, now calm down please your stressing me out with all your pacing"

She huffs and walks over and picks me up holding me close to her causing me to squeal in surprise, she sits down holding me on her lap "you are staying."

I nod laughing "i'm not going anywhere.."

Description: The war against the sky people is over, its time to have a new start with your mate

Y/N POV

I watch my mate walk out of our hut and to start his tasks for the day. Lately I haven't been feeling very well and have decided that before I leave to start my tasks for the day I would stop by mo'at, our tsahik, I quickly put on my clothes for the day and head to her tent.

I walk in and smile softly when i see her "oel ngati kameie tsahik" she says it back and stands up slowly making her way over to me "what can I do for you my child?" I look at her and explain that I haven't been feeling very well lately, she softly chuckles and takes her needs from its holder (SORRY IF I EXPLAINED THAT WRONG) and quickly pokes my stomach near my womb, she smirks and looks at me "you are with child..."

I gasp softly not expecting that news "really?" she nods with a smile on her face. I smile and give my thanks before leaving the tent and heading to my tent to grab my supplies for my tasks for the day

-TIME SKIP A FEW HOURS-

Y/N POV

I finished my tasks early having been hurrying through them to get home and figure out how to tell my mate about the news. I walked into our tent to find Jake sitting on our mat cutting up some fruit "oh- ma' Jake! what are you doing back so early?" I smile and walk over to him gently kissing his cheek.

He smiles and looks at me "I finished my tasks early- well I only had a few but I finished them quickly anyways" he chuckles and sets the fruit and knife down

I giggle and set all of my stuff down before kneeling down in front of Jake while gently grabbing his hands. My heart rate spike and I suddenly become nervous "so...I went and say mo'at today..."

His smile slowly fades and turns into a look of worry "have you been sick? a-are you okay?"

I nod "I haven't been feeling well lately but- now I know why"

He continues staring at me "well? whats wrong with you ma'tiyawn"

I smile before gently guiding his hand to rest on my stomach "Im with child ma'Jake...eywa has blessed us"

He goes silent for a moment before breaking out into a smile and standing up while picking me up and holding me tightly against him "oh my- thank you great mother! thank you!"

I laugh while clinging to him "I guess your happy yes?"

He nods and kisses me while setting me down on the floor and resting his hand on my stomach "so happy" he kneels down in front of me and kisses my stomach softly and starts whispering "Hi little one, i'm your daddy..."

REGULUS POV (WHOLE FIC)

FINDING OUT

I stare at the pregnancy test that Cadence handed me. My heart feels like its about to fall out of my chest. The only thought going through my head right now is that his is a joke...It has to be.

I look up at her to see she's crying. A sigh falls from my lips and I set the test down just to stand up and pull Cadence into a hug. 'i-it's okay...we can figure it out.."

She looks up at me sniffling "we aren't even together Reg..it was one night- what are your parent's going to say?"

I shake my head and sit back down on the bed "i don't know. it won't be good whatever it is..." I chuckle humorlessly before I look up at her "are you wanting to keep it?"

She looks at me and hesitates for a minute before nodding slowly "do you want to?"

I just continue staring at her "um- well it's your body you choose" I say earning a small smile from her

She sits down next to me setting her hand on my arm "it's your baby to Reggy...i want to keep it but if you dont..."

My gaze snaps over to her "no- i mean yes..i want to keep it to.." she smiles and wraps her arms around my neck in a tight hug, i wrap my arms around her as well holding her close

FIRST ULTRASOUND/HEARING THE HEARTBEAT

I stand in the doorway anxiously waiting for Cadence to get ready, after getting kicked out of my house for getting her pregnant before marriage Cadence let me move in with her

When she walks down the stairs towards me I smile and open the door for her then follow her out to the car. Once we get in and buckled I drive us to the doctors office.

Once we arrive to the Doctors office I get out of the car then helps Cadence out before following her in and standing with her as she checks in. Shortly after we sit down in the waiting room, her hand rests on my thigh causing my head to snap over to her

"calm down Reg, it's gonna be fine" she says with a giggle causing my shoulders to relax

I nod and rest my hand over hers, we wait for a few minutes before her name gets called. She stands up then grabs my hand and pulls me back to the room with her. We walk into the room and she gets comfortable on the bed table thing.

I stand next to her listening as her and the nurse chat back and forth. The nurse gently pulls her shirt up before squeezing some gel onto her bell causing Cadence to jump slightly

I chuckled softly earning a small glare from Cadence. I lean down and kiss her forehead before the nurse takes the wand looking thing and starts circling it around on Cadence's stomach

I look over at the screen that is all black and white and stare at it extremely confused. When the nurse points at a small white blob on the screen, that's when I realize...that's our baby...

I look down at Cadence who's tearing up with a big smile on her face, she looks up at me "that's our baby reg..our little baby"

I nod and smile back before looking back at the screen, the nurse presses a button on the machine and all the sudden a noise can be heard. I look at her confused and when the nurse notices my confusion she says "that's your babys heartbeat"

My eyes widen and I look back down at Cadence who's crying softly. I gently wipe her tears and she look's up at me "our baby has a heartbeat"

I nod and lean down pressing a long kiss on her forehead "our baby had a heartbeat..."

THE BIRTH

After a long nine months I finally am standing in the hospital about to meet our baby..My anxiety is through the roof as we wait to be taken back for the c-section.

I feel a hand on my face and I look up to see Cadence laying in the hospital bed staring at me with a smile. Through the past months we have finally made our relationship official. I smile a her not wanting her to worry about me.

She smiles back stroking my cheek with her thumb "honey...it's gonna be okay.."

I nod and rest my hand over her's. "it will.." She slowly sits up then pats the side of the bed signaling me to sit with her. I stand up and sit down next to her causing her to snuggle into my side.

"whats on your mind Reg?"

I sigh and kiss the top of her head before speaking "i just- we're about to be parents baby...and i'm terrified that i'm gonna fuck up..or end up like my dad.."

She looks up at me with a small frown "for one. we're 18 you have every right to be scared. two, your nothing like your father. if you were i wouldn't allow you anywhere near this baby"

I nod and kiss her nose chuckling when it scrunches up. "you always know what to say my love..."

Cadence smiles and snuggles closer to me "i know"

I chuckle and rest my hands on her belly as we wait for the doctor.

Once the doctor comes in and they get her ready we head back to the OR, they put me in an outfit called "scrubs" and I stand next to Cadence's head as they start the c-section.

She talks to me about everything while we wait for them to bring our baby into the world. After about 40 minutes we hear a cry and my head snaps up towards the sound

"there we go. a healthy baby girl" the doctor holds our baby..girl.. over the drape

Me and Cadence both smile as we admire the screaming infant we created. After a moment they asked "dad? you gonna cut the cord?"

Cadence nudges me and I walk over to them and cut the cord as they ask and watch as they take our daughter to clean her up and put a diaper on her. I follow them and watch as they clean her.

After awhile they hand her to me to bring over to Cadence, I hold her as they instructed me and slowly walk over to Cadence and gently lay her next to her head. As Cadence admire our daughter I admire both of them.

Once they close her up they take us back to the hospital room where they help Cadence nurse our daughter...y/n...that's what we decided

I sit in the chair next to the bed watching them trying to figure out how I got so lucky...

FIRST WORDS

I lay on the couch holding y/n as she play's with my hands contently. Cadence sat on the couch as my head rests in her lap.

As I nod along to y/n's adorable little babbles a small "dada" was heard. I sit up quickly keeping an 8 month old y/n secure in my lap "what? what did you say baby girl?"

Cadence look's at me confused "you okay babe?" I nod and turn my attention back to my daughter "come on...say it again baby..dada..dada..da..da.."

She looks at me smiling before squealing out a loud "dada!"

Cadence's head snaps over to me and a pout forms on her face "nooo you were supposed to say mama first" she giggles and stands up taking y/n from my arms and gently spinning her around

I smile and lean back against the couch admiring my girls and wondering how I got so damn lucky..

FIRST TIME CRAWLING

Me and Cadence both sit on the floor with an 11 month old y/n sitting between us. I gently pat the ground in front of me "come on...crawl to daddy y/n..."

Cadence smiles and leans into my side while gently encouraging our daughter as well.

I watch as y/n moves into crawling position and I get excited while patting the ground again. When she goes to move her arm she face plants causing me to reach forward and pick her up as she starts crying.

I hold her close gently rubbing her back "shhhh baby it's okay.." I kiss her head and smile as she starts calming down. I set her down again when she is calm and move back into the first position and start encouraging her to crawl again.

When she just stares at me I chuckle and stand up walking into the kitchen "stubborn little girl"

Cadence giggles then gasps "Regulus!"

I turn around quickly only to see her pointing at a crawling y/n. I smile and pick her up as she makes it to me. "you cheeky little lady" she giggles then cuddles close to me yawning softly

Cadence smiles and walks over to us gently kissing my cheek "she's getting to big"

I nod "she is..."

FIRST STEPS

As I sit on the couch watching TV I notice y/n crawl her way over to me. I smile and lean down picking her up.

We had her first birthday a few weeks ago and since then she's started pulling up on things. As she wiggles her way out of my arms I set her on the ground and she pulls herself to stand with the couch.

She continues babbling about lord knows what as I smile nodding. Cadence walks into the living room and smiles making her way over and sitting on the couch next to us.

I look away as my phone goes off only to hear a gasp from Cadence. I look over and see y/n stepping away from the couch and taking a few steps.

When she falls I smile standing up and picking her up and throwing her lightly "my big girl!"

She giggles and clings to me with a smile as me and Cadence praise her. As Cadence takes her and sets her down on the ground to help her stand y/n looks over at me with a pout and slowly walks over to me

I smile and pick her up holding her close, Cadence pouts at me only causing me to notice a striking resemblance between them. She walks over to us and giggles "she's the biggest daddy's girl"

I chuckle and nod "dont be jealous mama, she absolutely adores you"

Y/N POV

This was not supposed to be happening..I look down at the people I called my parents for the past year as they lay dead on the ground. I look at Harry, my best friends, as his arms wrap around me. I hug him back as we cry together.

After a few minutes I remember something- more like someone. I pull back and look at Harry with wide eyes. "harry...teddy.."

His eyes widen as he stares back at me, after a minute of what looks to be a staring contest he grabs my hand and takes off running out of the great hall straight to where Ted was staying with one of Tonks friends house.

As we arrived I look at him and take a deep breath "what- who's gonna care for him? I mean- they didn't have any family did they?"

Harry shakes his head then looks at me "no...but they had us, they cared for us so the least we could do is care for their son."

My eyes widen at what he was saying. He noticed and sighed before continuing "y-you dont have to...I didn't mean to throw that on you.."

I shake my head "no- no I want to help...just didn't expect you to say that"

He chuckles softly and grabs my hand "we've got this...let's go get him.."

I nod and start walking into the house, we explain the situation then pick up baby Teddy...

Tears fill my eyes as I stare down at the small baby in my arms..the baby that didn't even get a chance to know his parents, the baby that was born into a world full of hate...

Harry gently wrapped his arms around me and Teddy attempting to comfort me

My body leans back against him as I attempt to keep my tears from falling, Teddy slowly stirs in my arms and looks up at me. A small smile takes over my face and Harry slowly leads me outside after grabbing Teddy's bags.

After a few hours we make it to the burrow. When we walk in all eyes land on us, Molly makes her way over to us and wraps her arms around us in a warm hug.

After a minute she pulls back and Ginny walks over and gently takes Teddy from my arms, after she walks away to take him to bed I turn around to face Harry as my arms wrap around his body.

We stand in the burrow kitchen hugging, crying and comforting each other for the next few hours before we finally head to bed deciding to sleep together since neither of us wanted to be alone.

-6 months later-

Y/N POV

It's been a long 6 months, Teddy has officially started crawling. Me and Harry made the decision to buy a small house together so we weren't staying at the burrow anymore.

Since living with Harry I've slowly started falling for him...how could I not? Watching him with Teddy makes my heart explode with happiness.

A few weeks ago Teddy started calling Harry Dada..We knew it would happen but it still surprised us to say the least. It made me realize that we aren't just Teddy's older siblings that have to care for him...were his parents...at least the closest thing to them now...

As I stand at the kitchen in the window lost in thought I feel a small hand touch my leg causing me to jump, then I hear a laugh coming from the kitchen doorway.

I look down and see Teddy sitting next to my leg staring up at me with his adorable smile..I pick him up and hold him close, my smile grows as he nuzzles his face into my neck

-HARRY'S POV-

I wake up to a small cry, I reach over and grab my glasses and put them on before turning to see if y/n was still asleep, I had came into her room last night after another nightmare.

I frown slightly when I see the bed is empty. My gaze snaps over to the crib in the corner of the room that has a whining baby in it. I get up and walk over to him and pick him up.

As we make our way out of the room and downstairs to make him his morning bottle I see y/n in the kitchen zoned out. I stand and admire her for a moment before snapping out of it.

I smile and set Teddy down when he starts squirming, he crawls his way over to her and grabs onto her leg causing her to jump. A laugh escapes my lips as she looks down at him before picking him up. I continue watching them as Teddy snuggles closer to her, watching her with Teddy is my favorite thing...She's so gorgou- wait. no she's my best friend...

A small sigh leaves my lips as I shake my head to try and get rid of the thoughts

Y/N POV

I turn around to face Harry only to find him leaning against the doorway with only his sleep pants on..

I look away from him to hide my blush, he makes his way towards us and kisses my forehead softly whispering a "good morning..."

I nod and say a small good morning back before busying myself with making Teddy his morning bottle, after it's made I take him into the living room and lay him down in his bouncer seat (were gonna say they have those things-) and give him his bottle before heading back to the kitchen

When I get there the kitchen is empty so I start with the dishes from last night before making some breakfast. As I flip the pancakes I feel arms wrap around my waist causing a gasp to fall from my lips.

I turn around and look at Harry who has a smirk on his lips, I gently smack his chest "you scared me!"

He laughs "your very jumpy this morning, everything okay?"

I nod and turn back around "just...another nightmare last night is all" I finish the food and set it onto plates before moving myself out of his arms and handing him his plate

He nods and rests his head on my back before huffing in annoyance when I move away. He takes the plate while looking at me with a playful glare. A giggle erupts from me as I kiss his cheek and walk off to the living room, I sit on the couch and start eating.

-HARRY'S POV-

After y/n took Teddy to the living room to give him his bottle I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After I finish with that I walk back to the kitchen to find her finishing up the dishes, a smile forms on my face.

I know I shouldn't be feeling like this, she probably doesn't feel the same way but...the heart wants what the heart wants right?

After a few minutes of just admiring her I walk over as finishes up breakfast and wrap my arms around her waist, she jumps again causing me to laugh softly.

She turns around in my arms and I stare down at her pretty face laughing harder when she gently smacks my chest and says "you scared me!"

"your very jumpy this morning, everything okay?'

She nods and turns back around which allows me to rest my head on her back and hold her close, a frown overtakes my face when she says "just...another nightmare last night is all"

An annoyed huff leaves my lips when she moves out of my arms. When she hands me my plate I playfully glare at her causing adorable giggles to leave her pretty lips.

I watch as she walks out of the kitchen and into the living room, she takes a seat on the couch so I walk in and sit down next to her and start eating.

-TIME SKIP 9 HOURS-

Y/N POV

As I finish getting Teddy ready for dinner, just into some comfier clothes. I sigh and head back to the kitchen somewhat glad when I find it empty.

Harry has been extremely touchy all day..It's driving me crazy. Also making it very hard to ignore my feelings for him. I set Teddy in his highchair and start getting stuff out for dinner when Harry comes inside.

He walks into the kitchen and over to Teddy kissing his forehead and nodding along to the small babbled that Teddy says. I watch them for a minute but quickly look away when he looks over at me.

As I finish dinner I make me and Harry's plates before giving Teddy things he can eat.

We sit down at the table and start eating. A very thick tension settles over us only letting up when we focus on the small boy who is making a mess..again

After we finish dinner Harry takes Teddy to give him a bath, I stay downstairs and clean up everything from dinner. Just as i'm about to finish up cleaning I hear someone clear their throat.

My head turns and I see Harry standing the doorway. He makes his way over to me and leans against the counter "you okay?"

I nod and go back to washing the dishes only to have my arm grabbed, my head snapped up to look at him "your not- what's wrong? did i do something?"

I sigh and set the plate down that I was washing "nothing is wrong. i'm fine."

He scoffs and pulls me close to him "right. you done lying to me yet?"

I groan and and push myself away from him. "this! this is what's wrong!"

He stares at me confused "what are you talking about?"

I sigh and motion back and forth between us "this. you. you and your touchiness! i-it's driving me insane! i'm trying so hard to not fall for you- well to ignore the feelings I have for you but you make it so hard! with the constant touching and helping and being an amazing dad! a-and the no shirts, and the sleeping in my bed! i'm in love with you but i'm trying to not be but your making it so damn har-"

He cuts me off with a kiss, a very passionate yet sloppy kiss. I gasp softly and kiss back while wrapping my arms around his neck as I deepen it slightly only to be interrupted by a small voice "Dada! Dada!"

We pull back and look over at Teddy who's crawling his way over to us with a smile. Harry smiles and leans down and picks him up before looking at me with a smile "you are supposed to be in bed little man"

I smile and kiss his cheek when Teddy laughs " awe did Dada try and put you to bed hm?" I take him from Harry's arms and hold him closely.

Harry smiles and kisses my forehead and chuckles "let's get you both to bed hm?"

I nod and start walking towards my room with Harry behind me following us. I set Teddy down in his crib and give him his pacifier.

We both stand and watch over Teddy as he falls asleep. Once he falls asleep I turn and look at Harry who's already looking at me. I smile as he leans in and kisses me softly.

We make our way to my bed and lay down facing each other. As we stare at each other I finally speak up "what does this mean..?"

He smiles and cups my face gently "I'm hoping you'll be my girl.."

I smile and nod kissing him again. He kisses back and pulls me close to him. After awhile we finally settle down and rest my head against his chest and relax.

He holds me close while rubbing my back gently. "goodnight my love.."

I smile cuddling close to him "goodnight..."

Elvis Presley x Wife!reader : he 0verd0ses at a show and you finally realize what's going on

WARNINGS: drugs, cussing

Y/N POV

As I stand side stage watching my husband I cant help but notice a few things...His balance is..off? He keeps stuttering and tripping over his words. The sweat is pouring down his face and its like he cant breath.

I look over at Jerry who also has a worried look on his face as he watches his best friend, he makes eye contact with me before walking over. "was he not feeling good or something?"

I shake my head no "he was fine...i-i don't know whats wrong.."

He sighs and grabs my hand leading me back to a more secluded area "i'm gonna tell you something but you've gotta promise to not freak out.."

I look at him confused "what? what's wrong?"

Jerry sighs "the colonel he...Elvis has been working himself to the point of exhaustion so the colonel has been having Dr. Nick perscribe him Modafinil...i-it's a drug that keep's you awake and stimulates your nervous system bu-"

I cut him off "I'm sorry what?! They've been giving him what?!"

He covers my mouth "y/n! shhh! Listen to me, freak out when I tell you why I think he's acting like that."

I sigh and move his hand off my mouth but let him continue talking "Elvis took 5 before the show...they are high dose tablets h-he might be overdosing.."

My eyes widen and that's when I hear gasps from the crowd and a thud, I immediately go back to the side stage to see my husband laying on the stage breathing heavily

My feet start moving before I can even register what's happening. I kneel down next to Elvis and gently push his hair off his forehead "Elvis!"

His shaking hand reaches up and rests on my cheek "h-hey now..n-no need for t-he tears pr-pretty mama..."

I smile softly as I gently stroke his hair "I n-need you to keep your eyes open for me okay? Stay awake El.."

He nods as his breathing picks up, I watch as he fights to keep his eyes open...inevitably loosing the battle as he goes unconscious

I look at Jerry who's on the phone with 911, I feel for a pulse and let out a sigh of relief when I feel one, it's light but there.

I look up when I hear a cane, my gaze immediately hardens as the colonel walks over to us. He goes to touch Elvis but I smack his hand away, I stand up "do. not. touch. him."

He look's at me with wide eyes "excuse me little girl. who do you think you are talkin' to me that way hm?"

I scoff and push him back watching as he falls. "I'm his wife. And i'm telling you right now if you so much as look his way i'm gonna be your worst fucking nightmare. do. not. underestimate me."

I turn and look at an officer who gently grabs my hand "ma'am, please calm down..."

I pull my hand out of his grip and watch as they wheel Elvis off on a gurney "don't tell me to calm down! this man- this monster has been pumping drug's into my husband and now- now I could loose him! So no, I wont calm down!"

Jerry walks over "y/n...let's go, we can deal with him later...Elvis needs you.."

I take a deep breath and wipe the tears off my face before I nod and walk off out to the ambulance

-TIMESKIP A FEW HOURS-

Y/N POV

I pace back and forth in the private waiting room as all of the Memphis Mafia and Elvis's parent's (cause I refuse to believe Gladys died 😭) sit waiting.

My head snaps over to the door when the doctor walks in "is he okay?"

The doctor nods "he's still asleep but he's gonna be fine...he's very lucky"

I walk over and hug the doctor tightly as I listen to Gladys cry out thanking the lord, I whisper my thanks into the doctors ear before pulling back

The doctor nods "you can go see him- two of you can go see him..." I nod and take a deep breath as the doctor walks out

Gladys stands up and walks over to me "lets go see our boy"

I nod smiling as Gladys hugs me tightly, I wrap my arms around her hugging her back

We make our way to Elvis's room and walk in as soon as we get there. Tears start falling again when I see him...Guilt and sadness hit me all at once..

"How did I not notice this..?" I walk over and sit down in the chair next to his bed and gently grab his hand

Gladys shakes her head and sits in the other chair "This isn't your fault. He's always been good at hiding things"

I sighs and lean back in the chair closing my eyes the exhaustion of everything hitting me all at once

-TIME SKIP A DAY-

I hang up the phone with Priscilla, who has been watching the kids while I stay with Elvis in the hospital, I sigh and lean back against the wall. He still hasn't woken up and my anxiety has been at an all time high. My hands run down my face and I walk back to his room only to find the doctor and nurses surrounding his bed

I walk in "w-whats happening? is everything okay? is he okay?" that's when I hear a chuckle...

The nurses move away from the bed and I make eye contact with my husband. Tears immediately start flowing down my face

"hey now mama. no need for tears, i'm alright" My body filled with relief as I heard the voice I had missed more than anything.

I walk over to the bed only for him to pull me down ontop of him. I go to sit up but his grip on me tightens as my sobs grow louder. "shhh.. my love, i'm okay. settle down now..i've got you..."

My arms wrap around him and I bury my face in his neck as he continues to comfort me. I take in his scent and his warmth and allow it to comfort me and bring me back down to earth. "i hate you..."

He laughs and kisses the top of my head "I love you to mama..so much"

I sit up still sitting on him "why- why wouldn't you say anything?"

He sighs softly and rests his hands on my hips "i'm sorry...i didn't want to worry you..and i just didn't realize it was getting bad..."

I sigh and lean down kissing his lips "i hope you know I fired the colonel..and Dr. nick...also might of threatened to kill him when he showed up here"

He laughs again and pulls me down to lay on him again "that's just fine with me..."
