tried to get some good map screenshots of skyward sword since the locations are gonna start to matter alot more with chapter 2 and i am already stressed just looking at it bc its either a super rough watercolor painting or a 100 wormy minimaps i couldnt possibly stitch together without losing my mind bc of course my brain is trying to force me to make the map of my comic fit to the game map 100% which is both utterly unnecessary, since destinys story is hundreds of years before the game anyway and no one would question what im doing as long as the rough location placements match anyway, and impossible, they probably dont even fit together at all ..

I have a lot of followers that don't give a shit about MCYT and especially anyone related to the DSMP.

But I do hope that you might take the time to hear Shubble's story all the same. She talks about domestic abuse that may seem more subtle. She also discusses warning signs and manipulation. I feel that she has a very important story to share, and there is a lot of value in hearing it.

Im not sure what has stricken me more the fact that this is a thing someone decided to write about (its entirely possible this is one of those ones that were added to yokai guides back in the day to pad out the numbers and make the books more interesting, i think i recall that being a thing) or the fact that there are *more than one variants of this creature* I get the impression theres a lesson here somewhere, something about respectfully not letting fruit rot on the tree but the message gets a litlte lost in the whole

So uh, executive functions a bitch hey? Anyways, here's the long overdue 'fit reveal of my Wams and Hose (the pink and green fabric from this post, with the original idea being this) and my Hemd.

So this outfit is around 16th century German, and on the simpler side of Landsknect. All the pieces are made of linen (except for the tights, they're just ballet tights I ordered online), and the cord was braided by both myself and a friend.

Patterning the hose (shorts) was a very, um,, intimate experience... In order to make the pattern some old tights were sacrificed, I stood very still, and was mummified in duct tape. As you can see, they fit quite well, and the short inseam gives me quite a considerable range of motion

The wams (top) are attached at the front and back centre by ties. I'll eventually add more attachment points on the side I think, but for festival they held up spectacularly.

Overall I'm very happy with them, I missed my colour goals slightly, but also they're just the cutest watermelon palette >:)
