A very fun trip to Fort George this summer to see the 1812 reenactment. As I get older the camp life stuff and work in the kitchen becomes a lot more interesting than just the drill and soldiering (still fun). Met lots of great people and learned a lot of cool stuff.

Today on the Adventures of Grape: Quebec city!

We had a grand old time in the historic place, and even saw a real cannon! Grape insisted he be shot out of it, and I obviously had to oblige.

We also saw a ton of old buildings, and one had a Christmas store in it! Oh, and we met some reenactors who were happy to take a photo with him after he asked in “brri-ench” as he said.

That was a delicious poutine Grape, and you said you enjoyed it!

Tomorrow we are heading further east: to the highest tides in the world, The bay of Fundy!

Here are some photos from the Huntington Beach Revolution Reenactment! We had a wonderful time except the weather was stinky. It rained a lot and was cold and windy. We did not get to do as many activities as we wanted to do, but we were able to do all four battles! Everyone I got to talk to is absolutely lovely. It was also a blast teaching people history who came by. I got to help with the Culper Ring scavenger hunt and I'm so glad I did! It was a fun activity for younger visitors :). It was an honor to serve with His Majesty's Marines. God save the King! 🇬🇧
