#i almost had to do diy hrt bc my state was trying to choke out gender affirming care providers #the only doctors taking patients (at the time I was looking but that wasnt long ago) was planned parenthood #you cant go to a hospital anymore #but theres still a ton of private clinics doing surgery and its harder to police them #so theres that #but yeah #im not doing diy hrt #but theres a lot of people who have no choice #we werent offered care to detransition we were just left with no doctor and if you couldnt figure something out you just cold turkeyed it #which is uh #not safe #so uh #keep a thought for all the trans people in conservative states and countries rn
