Day 5 ⋆ Color

Having found kinship with one another, Eros and Monarch decided to take a small getaway together. And nowhere seemed more beautiful than sunny Thavnair.

They were greeted at the gate, first by the Radiant Host, then by a most peculiar... miqo'te? No, that wasn't right...

"Hello there! Welcome to Radz-at-Han!" The excitable man shouted, "Am I correct in guessing you're new here?"

Eros and Monarch looked at each other, bemused.

"We are, indeed! You have a keen eye"

"Have to have a keen eye for newcomers when you're the local guide!" The young man replied, "Speaking of, want a tour?"

"So you just wait at the entrance from dawn to dusk in case visitors arrive?" Eros asked as they made their way through the city, "No payment asked for, even? You just do it for fun?"

The young man nodded gleefully, "I love my home, and I want to help people love it as well! Oh, and not get lost of course. This place can be a maze to those who don't know it well!"

Eros thought back to their tour thus far, as their feet took them through all the winding paths of the vibrant city. Al-Kimiya to the Bazaar, textile shops and gardens, even stopping by the Meyhane for a bite to eat.

"You do Radz-at-Han a great service then. This place really is as vibrant and beautiful as people described" Eros praised him, giggling at the excited wagging of their guide's tail.

"You'll not find a more colorful city than Radz-at-Han!" he chirped, "Well, maybe Yedlihmad, but that's on a much smaller scale"

"It certainly seems that way. Thank you for showing us your beautiful home, dear" Eros said with a smile, "I think I might come here more often if all the locals are so friendly"

"Mm" Monarch hummed, "The dog reminds me of the pixies back home"

"Monarch!" Eros chastised them, "You don't just call someone a dog!"

"But he is one"

"Not the point!" Eros spun around, "And how would you know he's a dog? I thought he was a miqo'te?"

"I'm half lupin" the man chimed in, "My mother was miqo'te, but father's traits shone through in my ears and tail. So, they were half right!"

"I..." Eros looked back at him, "can't say I've ever heard that one before. Truly one-of-a-kind"

"We take all sorts here," the young man grinned, "The people are just as colorful as the city itself"

I was only gonna get a couple shots of Eros and Monarch in Radz-at-Han today, but did I write up a little ficlet today just to introduce my dog boy?

Yes. Yes I did.

His name is Akash, and he is a good boy.

Anyway, enjoy my colorful buns in my favorite colorful city! I feel like they'd enjoy themselves in Thavnair a whole lot. <3

my ffxiv viera Moira, there arent that many armors for healers but this armor is pretty sick, like a war ready priest i love it
