once again thinking about the mass effect x sw prequels crossover that exists entirely in my head where during ME3 they find another prothean beacon but when shepard activates it, it teleports her halfway across the universe

and she lands directly in the middle of the clone wars, smack between the 501st and 212th facing off against a droid factory

after hurried introductions, they find out that shepard's black widow rifle can take out droidekas in like two shots, so she's immediately on the team. she is fascinated by obi-wan and anakin's 'invisible biotics' and they are fucking horrified when she releases a biotic lash-charge-nova combo that takes out literally a hundred droids in under 10 seconds

I want to know how Phee met the Hazard family. Did she meet them on Pabu, after making her way there as a refugee? Were they all refugees who happened to be looking for somewhere safe at the same time, and they met that way? Did Phee meet Shep a long time ago, before he even had a kid? Did Lyana grow up on Pabu? Did Shep grow up on Pabu, for that matter? Because it seems like they are people who come to Pabu late fleeing one violence or another, and others who have been there their whole lives, and I feel like Shep could fit into either category. Just. Generally, how did Phee end up being an honorary part of that little family?

#I have two contradictory headcanons #one that Phee found Pabu while on a completely unrelated treasure hunt #several years before the beginning of TBB #and she actually intended to steal something on the island #but ended up befriending Shep and Lyana #and falling in love with the people and just couldn’t go through with it #and decided to steal stuff for the people on Pabu instead #the other headcanon (that I actually like better) #is that Phee met Shep when they were both pretty young #maybe older teenagers #on a completely different planet #Shep is from Pabu in this scenario but is out seeing the galaxy #while Phee was maybe a Jedi padawan and maybe not #anyway the two of them meet somewhere and have to spend some time together #and end up friends in a siblingy way #and decide to keep in touch #then years later when Phee needs somewhere to go #either after leaving the order or order 66 happens #(if she’s a Jedi in this scenario) #Shep ends up being the first person she calls #buuuut those are both headcanons for how #I’d like to know the real answer

ok. sometimes I just want to listen to people talk abt star wars but the youtube results are all men and I refuse to do that to myself. found myself on a reddit thread of good sw youtube accounts/podcasts and it's like....for one dollar name a woman:/

#CRINGE or whatever #but like i am thinking abt themes of fate and agency and the way they change across series and how certacertain characters exist outside #the narrative etc and i just wanna talk abt rebels and how its such a fantastic follow up to tcw/the prequels in terms of its core cast and #the fact that their only commonality is that they chose to be a part of the rebellion as opposed to the characters of tcw that are stuck in #this perpetual loop of following orders and uplifting those in power & feeling as though everything in their lives are destined meanwhile #there were so many opportunities to stop the end destiny (if u will) of the prequels if only they werent so blind etc but at the same time #you have characters like maul and ahsoka who exist outside of these power structures (one by choice and the other not) and when it comes #time to change anakins fate together ahsoka cant do it bc shes refuses to see the truth #and then this is directly paralleled at the end of rebels s2 where it takes kanan being literally blinded for him to see ezras pull to the #dark side bc until then kanan (the last remaining jedi) still clings to the beliefs and structures that raised him. he cant see/understand #ezra bc he refuses to view the world outside of the lens of his jedi training he has to be blinded to see the world around him in a new way #ofc this is all happening while ahsoka and anakin meet again and we see what could have happened had kanan failed to change #idk something something the illusion of choice under capatalism & 2 party systems leading to facism #something something rebellion/change comes from the ability to question authority and find individual purpose #noooo idea where im going with this shit at the end i promise i understand facism #see this is why i need to listen to other people talk abt it i am just spewing nonsense in my tumblr tags!!!!
