Chapter 1: From Tradegy to Fantasy - Awakening in Another World
Tumblr media
Pairing: Gojo x fem!reader

Genre: Isekai, Romance, Fantasy
Synopsis: Your life takes a tragic turn as you perish in a car crash, only to awaken in a whimsical world of fantasy with none other than Jujustu Kaisen characters as its main protagonists. Does your life take the same sudden twist of fate as that of your favorite characters?
Next Chapter ->
Tumblr media
„Are you reading those strange stuff again…What was it called? Manga?”
“I’m only watching the anime because of that hot blindfolded guy.”
You don’t even try to look up from your phone, currently reading the newest publication of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga over some sketchy site online. That hot blindfolded guy…You’ll never understand why some girls are only watching Jujutsu Kaisen because of him, Gojo Satoru. This world has so much more to offer, so much more than this overpowered character not even Gege himself likes.
“It’s not exactly reading”, you mutter, so sunken into the drawn fight in front of your eyes that you simply can’t look away.
“(y/n), come back to reality. We have some classes to attend.”
Out of instinct, you roll your eyes. You’ll probably have to listen to that one professor who always talks about himself and simply reads through his presentation for three hours straight, not even allowed to look at your phone and do something useful instead. Urgh, being an uni student sucks.
“Give me a minute, I’m just finishing this chapter.”
When your friends start walking, you follow them without paying attention. This is it, the fight you’ve been waiting for. Maybe this time someone is able to defeat Sukuna, maybe this will be the day you’ve been waiting for. Fuck plot armour, fuck all the horrible things that happened last, all the beloved characters that had to die. Damn, you still miss Geto to this day. If they would have noticed sooner, he might be still alive-
“(Y/N), WATCH OUT!”
You always wondered about how death must feel like. Getting consumed by darkness, getting dragged into sheer empty space. Does it hurt? Will you die right on the spot and feel absolutely nothing? What about that myth about reminiscing your own life shortly before your death?
The second you looked into those blinding car lights, you knew exactly that you are next, that there is no way you’ll survive the hit that will sweep you off your feet, that throws your body into the air like a plastic bag.
How pathetic to die like this. Getting hit by a car while being glued to the sketches of fictional characters on your phone. What will your parents say, your family, your friends? You don’t want to die like this, but still…
You allow your eyes to rest against your harsh light, your phone dropping to the phone. You can’t escape the hit. Maybe, just maybe, you will wake up in a better world.
If stuff like that even exists.
When you open your eyes again, you brace yourself for an immense wave of pain hunting down your body, for getting greeted by those way too harsh hospital lights. But instead, your eyes open with ease. Instead, you get greeted by the dim light of a golden chandelier in and a well-painted ceiling in all different shades of purple.
“Where on earth…Am I?”, you mutter to yourself.
The second you look down on you, your heart drops to the floor. You aren’t wearing a pair of leggings and an oversized tee like you always do. No, you are covered in the softest white fabric you ever felt from head to toe, an elegant lavendel ribbon tied around your waist. And that delicate jewellery...
Immediately, you yank out of bed and almost trip over the hem of the white dress, coming to a stand in front of a mirror.
This isn’t possible. No, this has to be a feverish dream. Maybe they put you into coma after…
You swallow hard, reality hitting you with full force. You died. As soon as the car hit you, you were dead right on the spot and you knew it instantly. But why does everything feel so damn real? Frantically, your hands wander around the sweaty face that looks back at you in sheer horror through the mirror, stare at the lavendel eyes that don’t look like yours at all. But those facial features, the way your hair falls.
Is it…you?
A violent scream escapes your lips before you’re able to stop it, guts turning so uncomfortably that you feel like puking every minute. This can’t be true. This can’t be your reality now…Just before your feet give in, you grab the cool golden frame of the mirror, allow your spinning head to rest for a second.
“Lady Zenin, are you alright!?”
That distant voice, who is it talking to? Lady Zenin…Like Toji, Mai and Maki Zenin? Maybe you didn’t die but got kidnapped into a pervert cosplay party. Slowly, you turn around, face sticky in cold sweat.
But the man standing in front of you doesn’t look like a creep at all. No, he’s a truly elegant man. Maybe in his 50s, but it is clear that he’s taking care of himself. His eyes look at you worried, his gloved hands stretched out in order to help if you fall.
“Where…Where am I?”, you press out.
This isn’t your hometown. Fuck, this isn’t even your home country, not even your timeline. The stuff in this room looks so old and somehow magical, let alone that dress you’re wearing.
“I don’t understand, Lady Zenin. You are in your room”, the man replies visibly worried.
“What country?”, you probe.
“My lady, we are still in Avaloria…Are you feeling unwell? Shall I call the doctor-“
“In Avaloria. And I’m Lady Zenin…”, you mumble to yourself.
This doesn’t make any sense. You didn’t pay that much attention to geography, but you know for a fact that Avaloria isn’t a real country and that your last name definitely isn’t Zenin. But oh that last name is definitely familiar to you, so familiar that it’s frightening. Suddenly a shiver runs down your spine, dark foreshadowing letting your fingertips shake.
“What is my father’s name?”
You don’t want this answer. No, all you want to do is waking up from this dream, from this nightmare. You aren’t a lady, you aren’t a Zenin. You are nothing but plain (y/n) who adores anime and manga a little too much and still goes to university. You are nothing but a normal young woman.
“Your lordship…Your lordship is called Naobito Zenin, my Lady”, he stutters.
“And my brother’s name is Naoya, huh?”, you huff out.
This has to be a bad joke, right? What is this man, a stand-up comedian, maybe? You cross your arms in front of your chest, force your body to stop shaking. You need to put this madness to an end right now.
“Yes, exactly my Lady!”, the man in front of you literally cries out in relief while the ground is pulled underneath your feet.
No, nothing about this is right. These men, their names…They are nothing but an invention by Gege Akutami, nothing but drawn figures in a book adapted into an anime. They are nothing but fantasy, nothing but fiction.
“B-But…”
Your voice fails as your mind can’t process anymore. Is it really possible that…You were reincarnated into a world like this?
“Are you causing a scene again, sister?”
You don’t recognize the voice speaking behind you, but something inside you tells you that if you turn around, you will be greeted by…
Cold, sharp brown eyes.
Your very own orbs widen in sheer horror. Those dark green roots, the annoyed look on his face, his tall muscular frame. He looks exactly like the manga made him appear. But instead of wearing a kimono, he is dressed in a black uniform with golden and purple details.
“You’re looking like a fucking prince…”, you breathe out.
“Are you trying to upset me, (y/n)?”
“Master Naoya, the lady doesn’t appear like herself today. Shall I call the doctor?”, the older man speaks with low voice.
“Did you have a bad dream?”
He grabs your chin before you’re able to stop him, his cold glare hitting you with full force.
Naoya just touched you. Fucking Naoya Zenin is standing in front of your very own self, his fingers wrapped around your chin, staring at you so intensely that you feel like fainting any given minute.
“Don’t you dare to mess today’s meeting up because of your weird acting. It took father and I months to arrange a meeting with that lousy prince. Let’s hope that he finds liking in you or else I’ll marry you below your status”, he hisses into your face.
“You can’t just arrange my wedding. Who the hell do you think you are?”, you spit into his face out of instinct.
“All the attention must have gone to your head, (y/n). Who do I think I am? I am your big brother, father’s right hand. And you are nothing but a woman. Your only worth is to marry into a wealthy and influential family. I will never understand why the prince of our country found a liking in you. Apart from a pretty face, you have nothing to offer.”
He yanks your chin away roughly, forces you to take a few steps back and almost sends you onto the floor with the sheer force of his fingertips. Your body quivers in anger, hands balled into fists so tight that your knuckles stand out white.
“I don’t need a prince, I know my own worth you fool!”, you demand.
“Who taught you to talk like this? You are a lady, (y/n). Finally start to act like one or I will tell father about your behaviour. Maybe a venesection will cause your mouth to finally shut, what do you think?”
“A vene-what?”
“Urgh, just be quiet and get yourself ready. You will meet the prince as soon as you are presentable. And don’t you dare to disappoint us”, he hisses through gritted teeth.
And then he’s gone in the wind while you stand in the middle of the room, still unable to catch your shaky breath. Who the hell does this guy think he his? Where exactly are you, what world is this? Your head begins to spin so violently that you fear to lose your balance, your whole life crashing down on you like a house of cards.
This isn’t 2024 on mother earth anymore. This…this is something completely different. And that man who introduced himself as your brother made it all too clear that there’s no way you’ll survive here if you don’t play along. Maybe it’s like in that anime you just watched, the one with the girl names Raeliana. If that’s the case…
“Please call in my maids. I wish to be dressed”, you speak out monotone.
“Of course, Lady (y/n).”
You will play along. But there is no way in hell you’ll let him force you into a marriage with some strange prince you don’t even know. Your eyes are fixated on themselves, the new lavender color gleaming back at you being so unknown as well as all those women who scurry around you.
Who is this prince, anyway? If you’re really in some strange jujutsu kaisen verse, it must be another character. Maybe Geto…Oh, that would be nice. But what if it’s Sukuna? You shake your head, haunt away your stinging imagination. No, you won’t marry the king of curses. Actually, there aren’t many men you’d like as your husband.
How is this supposed to turn out good?
-at the salon-
You feel like fainting any given minute, heart pounding so roughly against your well-dressed ribcage that every beat sends a shiver down your spine. If the man standing in front of you isn’t called Geto or Nanami, you don’t want him. And apart from that…Aren’t you too young to marry anyway? Why does your family want to get rid of you so badly?
“It is so nice to finally meet you in person, Lady (y/n).”
Your heart drops to the floor.
That voice.
Fuck. It’s no doubt that it’s him.
“Let me introduce myself properly: I’m Prince Satoru, the future king of Avaloria.”
The second your brother steps aside, you get greeted by bright blue eyes and a cheeky grin.
This is Gojo Satoru, that “hot guy with the blindfold”, one of the last men you’d like to marry even if he’s dressed in a fine suit with red and blue details. Out of instinct, you cross your arms in front of your chest, narrow eyes staring him into the ground. You will never understand the hype behind his smile and eyes when it’s all too clear that he’s a player, a womanizer. A man like Gojo Satoru isn’t the husband you were imagining, not the man you were looking for since you were a child.
“I’m not marrying that man”, you announce into the silence of the room.

Apple Merchant [BOTW!Link x Isekai!Reader] (Part 1)
In which Isekai!Reader becomes a merchant, and unintentionally Link's benefactor.
Even more self-indulgent trash. The usual.
PART: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6
Alternate Extras: Embrace
Masterlist
TW: Nothing worth mentioning.
Disclaimer: Don't own The Legend of Zelda franchise.
---
Being transported into a video game was not as dramatic as the media had led you to believe. For one, there was no bright, all encompassing light nor the feeling of a thousand worlds ripping themselves asunder. Instead, you had taken one step out of your door and crossed the threshold into an endless field of tall grass.
Panic should have taken hold by that point, but it didn't. You'd later learn it was just postponed by the shock of it all. At the time though, you'd simply taken stock of the situation, scanned the horizon for civilization and started in on the first plumes of smoke you found in the distance.
You'd been lucky. So incredibly lucky it had been a village that you'd landed near and not something more sinister. That you had decided against going near the waterfall or towards the forested area where a clear path was etched into the hillside.
You hadn't known that yet though. Instead, you'd taken the most direct route and hiked up the steep grassy slope heading towards the plumes.
Near the top you'd taken a short break beside an apple tree, admiring the perfect shape of the fruit hidden throughout it's low hanging branches. How large they were, and how brightly colored.
You'd taken one, struggling to pull it from it's stem. You were surprised by just how heavy it was when it finally did give way; more akin to holding a watermelon than an apple and as large as a grapefruit.
It was strange, but you figured it was just a variety of apple you were not familiar with, or perhaps you were heading towards a farm that was working on a new type of apple for the market.
You decided to save this one for later, in case the place you were heading didn't have resturants or take card payments. The surrounding land looked pretty rural, so you wouldn't be all that surprised if they didn't.
As soon as you'd thought it though, the apple disappeared. No light or sound or anything to indicate the unnatural occurrence, just popped out of existence.
It should have startled you, and it did, but you didn't panic. Not yet. That would come later. Right then, it was almost like you were dreaming.
In the top left corner of your vision a flicker of red came into existence. A simple line of words ended in an explanation point that pinged at your subconscious.
[New Item!]
And you'd thought, 'What a strange dream.'
---
Four years later, and you knew this was most certainly not a dream. The panic had passed, the initial pain of loss and separation had eased. The confusion of a new language and culture had settled into smooth integration.
The easy acceptance of the Hateno people helped a great deal with that.
Honestly, it helped that the population was as small as it was. While some cultures would shun outsiders upon contact, the scarcity of new blood had made your arrival quite the welcome event. Even if you were a human.
Perhaps even because you were a human. It was hard to tell sometimes. Your round ears were equal parts admired and awkwardly avoided in polite conversation.
You tried not to think about it too much.
The bottom line was that you had been transmigrated into Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Your head now contained the equivalent of the Sheikah slate and the differences in product quality here and your world was, to put it frankly, wacked. The metabolism and durability of the region's residents was even more so.
The apple you had picked up the first day had lasted you two days. Each bite was equivalent to eating two apples. Eating a whole apple was enough to make you sick. You'd watched a hyrulian child munch down three of them with no issues, and then ask for dinner.
Your conclusion; Magic. Hyrule was very similar to your own world, but the addition of magic had fundamentally altered the biological makeup of it's inhabitants.
It wasn't a difficult conclusion to come to. Hell, one of the farmers had even given you a brief rundown on the magic quality in the soil once, explaining the emergence of Hearty foodstuffs. It was an eye opener for sure, though a welcome one.
However, things got complicated in your case. The addition of gamer like attributes seemed to alter the world around you to an alarming degree. Nothing too noticeable thankfully, but still noteworthy.
Things you picked or put in your inventory had a way of coming back within a few days. This, you'd learned, was not the norm. A harvested field stayed harvested until it was replanted. A picked apple stayed gone until a new one grew from another bud.
Things did not just reappear after enough time away from them. Hyrule did not have that type of magic, though it would seem you did. Which, honestly, was fine by you. It helped you make a living at the beginning.
Food, you found, was a precious commodity. The game made it seem easily accessible, but in reality it was a hit or miss depending on the season. Late spring through early fall was bountiful, but the rest of the year was downright miserable.
People here lived on what could be grown locally. When things stopped growing, people started struggling.
Not to say most residents starved, but the cost of a bale of wheat went up drastically in the winter. Nevermind the cost of fresh fruit, meat or anything not pickled or preserved.
The game never showed this side to Hyrule. The part where these magical people with their high metabolisms suffered during the lean winter months. How they worked and saved all year just to break even through the cold season.
Winter might have been the time of hardship, but it was your golden goose. It was how you made a living, how you came out ahead.
Anything stored within your mindslate stayed perfectly preserved, untouched by time nor the effects of decomposition. And added to your unusual effect on the world, it allowed you to amass a literal shit ton of resources.
At first you'd make daily trips around the village gathering enough materials to ensure a place at the inn every night. Anything would do. Wheat, crickets, apples, the occasional fish, even fairies.
(Strange that one, how your mindslate just stored living beings like that. They were the one thing you didn't mess with. Just let them sit in there, as far from your mind as possible.)
You cut grass with your rusty sword, hacked down small trees with your equally cheap and rusted ax, roamed the nearby woods for mushrooms, beetles or lizards. Occasionally, you'd even find a more unusual item. Like a sword or shield just laying in the grass.
You'd try not to think of how it got there.
You gathered resources for a living, and the shop owners came to know you as the Apple Merchant. It was sweet actually, and it seemed to endear you to some of the residents.
Perhaps they appreciated that you were trying to make a life for yourself among them, not just begging for handouts. Or maybe it was pity for the foreign human who didn't know hyrulian common well. Hard to tell.
When winter came that first year, is when you realized the full breath of your situational advantage.
One year. That's all it took. One year to become one of the wealthiest people in the village.
And they didn't even realize it.
A bundle of carrots purchased cheaply during the height of harvest season sold for five times that amount in the winter. A bundle of wheat, nearly seven. And meat was something else entirely. Rare enough during the warm season, it became worth its weight in gold the moment winter set in and creatures ventured to warmer regions.
Winter was a literal Godsent.
And the next winter was even more profitable. Now armed with the foresight of experience, you planned your life around it. Bought overflow harvest in bulk, bought out traveling merchant's wares without a second glance.
You prepared, and you thrived. Your bare threat clothes became wool, your worn shoes became comfortable soft leather. You bought a horse, then three, a wagon. Hired guard detail.
Became a merchant. The Apple Merchant; written in clear hyrulian script across your wagon.
By the third year, you were in Lurelin, Kakariko, and every stable and small settlement in the southern reaches of Hyrule. Damn near made it to Gerudo too, before the logistics of such a trip set you back.
You made it though, on your forth year. Reaped the benefits of being a well stocked merchant in an inhospitable place like Gerudo desert. Never made it to Gerudo town though, but the outlier villages more than made up for that.
Life was good. It was profitable. You could even say you were happy.
Then it happened in the early spring of the fifth year. The Shiekah towers rose.
It was nothing that should have concerned you. Link had finally awoken from his 100 year slumber as he was meant to, and his story would continue on without you. Your paths would probably never cross. You were just one of the thousand's of merchants making a living all across Hyrule.
You were nobody in the grand scheme of things. You were someone completely removed from the big picture.
Until you weren't.
And it started with a missing apple.
---
Now I return to the shadows to rest.

Sailing against Fate
(Alabasta Saga)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Synopsis: If you want to survive on this world, you have to lean on to the strongest, to your luck, you somehow ended up with the Strawhats.
Pairing: Strawhat Pirates X Isekaid!Fem!Reader
Pre-Timeskip! This takes place during the Alabasta Arc. I planned on making this into a mini series with other scenarios.

Tumblr media
It has to be a dream...
One moment ago, you were just studying for your college midterms and the next thing you knew, black spots covered your vision causing you to pass out on your desk. Well maybe passing out was your fault since you stayed up for a whole two days straight with nothing but caffeine to keep you energized.
But how did it comes to this?
"Oi...Are you dead?"
A pair of curious eyes poked your form the moment you started to wake up. A somehow familiar face greets you. Tan skin with a noticable scar on the lower left side of his eye and a straw hat. Unlike him, His crew had a look of suspicion as they surround the two of you.
'No way....'
How come you found yourself staring face to face with the Strawhat pirates?!
"What...?"
You can only gawked in shock. There in flesh were Luffy, Sanji, Nami, Zoro, Usopp, Vivi and Chopper. All staring back at you with a mixed of bewilderment and cautiousness.
"Where....Am I...?"
"Hey....Are you okay?! Stop that! Your hurting yourself!"
You questioned yourself, slightly distraughted.
Sweet Chopper got worried seeing how tightly you started gripping your hair with both of your hands. Because of his natural caring nature as a doctor, he immediately approached and grab your hands to stop you from hurting yourself further.
"Nooo! I can't take my exams now!"
Tumblr media
Seeing that Vivi and Karoo are with the crew, you concluded that you were transported during the Alabasta arc. With Chopper already being there, that means that they had already been to Drum Island and are now on their way to stop the war brewing in the sand nation.
The Strawhats were somehow nice enough to let you stay with them for a while, although deep down, you knew it was because of seeing you in your most pathetic state.
Well most likely since you're a woman and Sanji is the type of man that will never deny a damsel in distress.
But ofcourse, you didn't want to end up on any of their bad side, and since they allowed you to stay with them, you decided to atleast try to be useful to help around the ship.
Only to find out that you have zero experience in managing a ship. You can't tie knots nor lift heavy equipments, Chopper had to help you out when the Going Merry's cannon accidentally fell on you.
All you could do was learn by observing others do their tasks, respectively.
Zoro was far more suspicious along with Usopp who was wary of you, so you couldn't ask any of them for any pointers. Nami, tried to teach you how to stir the ship but you somehow managed to get off course, so she had to step in, not after yelling at you ofcourse.
As much as Chopper helped you out whenever you were struggling, he was a bit too afraid to actually talk to you. And you like Sanji, but you hate how he treats you like a delicate and fragile glass to the point that he never let you help out whenever he's nearby.
Luffy and Vivi were the only ones who are normal around you. Luffy being somehow curious with your mannerism and weird habits. You were slightly glad that he was still the Luffy you knew in the show.
"Where did you came from, (Name)?"
He would often ask the most random questions about you. And whenever you answer, you could feel the eyes of the crew lingers your form.
"Some where really far away..."
"But I doubt that I can return back..."
You answered honestly. It had been a few days since you got sent into this world and you still don't understand how you managed to get here. You knew that you don't belong here, and without the Strawhats, you would probably be dead by now.
The Grandline is indeed a terrifying place, so you have to do what you must if you want to survive in this world.
Luckily for you, you read a few isekai mangas along with those popular korean manhwas back in your world. So with your One Piece knowledge, you have a slightly advantage of knowing what will happen next. However, you kept silent of that, as you were still trying to figure out what you were suppose to do.
In the world of pirates, a sane person would ask the crew to drop them off to a nearby island, however you were far from sane.
You are in the One Piece universe, how can you miss all those major event, nor miss the opportunity to meet some of your favorite characters.
There were two options for you, To become a pirate or marine. You did considered trying to join the revolutionary army, but you didn't like people bossing you around as you go on missions.
As much as you want to see the adorable Captain Koby as a marine, you weren't that keen to get beatened up by pirates. What if you meet those famous characters of the series, you'll definitely die.
So your only option is to become a pirate, being already on board the Going Merry. Besides, you doubt Luffy will let you go now that he has taken an interest on you, not that you know what he saw on you anyways.
You stayed up a few nights, trying to recall the future events that might happen soon. You wrote them down on a notebook that Nami gave you, not before giving you an interest of paying her back. She was slightly suprised on how you just smiled and told her that you'll somehow find the berries for it.
And now, your habit of not sleeping came back. It's like your studying your notes for an upcoming quiz again. You wrote down everything you remembered regarding the current arc you were in right now.
But first, you have to earn the crew's trusts. So you made a lot of effort to get to know them.
Their personalities were still the same like how it is on the series. There was also somethings that weren't mentioned yet you were able to notice small details while being around them.
Whenever Luffy goes feral at the sight of meat, he would let out small growls when someone approached him. It became noticeable whenever he's really hungry.
You were never a threat, Zoro saw that. You were just a weird helpless woman who somehow just ended up in their ship. Surely he was cautious around you, but seeing how you trip on your own two feet made him rethink of his assumptions that you were a spy sent by baroque works.
"Please...! Teach me how to fight...!"
At your most desperate tone, you plead Zoro to train you. If you have to survive, then you need to learn how to fight.
"Worry not, Mademoiselle! For I shall be there to protect you from those filthy trolls that dares to lay a even a finger on your delicated skin...!"
Sanji straight up told you with hearts on his eyes as he fawn over you having him as your Prince charming on a white horse. You won't learn anything from him.
"Sorry, (Name). I'm not exactly an adept brawler like Sanji, Luffy or Zoro."
"Fighting is not really my expertise. Just ask the guys about it."
Nami and Usopp aren't really much of a fighter, so they wouldn't be able to help that much. And Luffy is out of the question.
"Fighting? Just throw hard punches like this! Oh wait, you can't stretch..."
As much as you like Luffy, his fighting style is a bit too reckless for your liking and you doubt that he can teach you without getting side tracked.
And you can't just ask Vivi, like Nami, she's more of a dictator rather than a fighter. Surely she can fight, but you doubt using whip like weapons is fit for you.
So Zoro was your last hope. Watching anime for as long as you can remember, swords is something you were familiar of and You always wanted to learn how to use a sword, and Zoro being a skilled swordsman could maybe teach you a thing or two to atleast defend yourself.
"If you're asking for my help, you must have a good reason. But why should I help you..?"
Zoro was still wary of you, yet you can see that he was less hostile than he was when you first ended up at Going Merry's deck.
"Unlike any of you guys here, I'm the most vulnerable...! I'll die the moment the Navy or another pirate ship appears!"
Okay, you could have sworn that you sounded and look like another Usopp in his eyes.
"If you're serious about learning to fight, you'll have to prove your dedication. Show me you're worth the effort, and maybe, just maybe, I'll consider teaching you a thing or two."
Zoro was dead serious. But it also look like he's willing to teach you how to weild a sword if your resolve was strong enough.
"I'll do it! I want to learn how to defend myself. I can't rely on you guys all the time."
Seeing him suddenly grin, you knew you were about to experience hell.

Can't help but see this and can't help but think but imagine:
What if mc saw this ask and next time they play cookie run kingdom...they jokingly explain to the cookies of the kingdom about how they are just a normal person playing a video game and that if they did get transfered into their world, they'd be completely powerless and unable to do anything (unless they not only play cookie run but also exercised regularly and trained in strength, speed, flexibility or stamina then they might mention a boost in one of those categories).....and doesn't realize that the cookies could actually HEAR them!
Just imagine...cookies who want mc to themselves to snuggle or romance or something would hear this and think "wait I thought they were a powerful god...but they are just a normal person playing some video game and don't have any powers while everyone in the cookie world, including me (aka cookie who is thinking this), so...oh my god! Capturing and keeping mc is going to be WAY easier than I thought!"
Aaaand when mc ends up in the world...the cookies are helping mc with getting used to their body, with the full knowledge that they have zero powers soooo they either have to protect mc oooor this is their chance to keep mc for themselves lol!
I'm happy to see that you enjoy the idea of sharing here. I have been playing Crk since 2020 and have been a fan and I have followed the tag and I did really enjoy the self aware crk and was always Happ to read fanfiction and theories but it seems now all the writers have moved on which I don't blame them for. Thank you for the Welcome and Welcome to my blog.
But maybe not all the cookies can hear you at once but maybe one cookie can and everyone thinks their insane cause only witches are really right?
But I think that would be the reason why they would grow attached to you maybe or maybe not get romantic feelings for you or just seeing you as their best friend.
But they were both shocked at your words of calling yourself regular and upset because to that one cookie you are their everything.
But at some point all the cookies were able to hear you and you have like a cult following with that one cookie of your choice being like the leader.
When you do end up in Earthbread you almost got cookienapped right off the bat only for a cookie part of the following to save you.
That following of yours will make sure you are okay and devote themselves to you and if that cookie is your love interest they would ask to be your right hand cookie, while their cheeks are burning.
But if you want to have the normal isekai route at first you are protected by these cookies and soon you have powers and become a godly being but something happened that made you disappear but really you just turned invisible like how jack frost was in the rise of the guardians movie. And you are trying to handle that while you find out that your world and Earthbread are merging, the rest and small details can be saved for like fanfiction that I'm still trying to figure out on.

The Hero, The Guilt and The Chocolate
Summary: Days of peace were still upon you, but you had to ruin it with your thoughts of the previous life you had. Time tries to calm you down, but not in a way one would expect. Oh Nayru, how do you explain a typical office job to someone like Link? Or corporate slavery?
Based on this fic. Can be read stand alone.
Read on Ao3
Ah… Winter was finally here, or was it already leaving? It was proving really difficult to tell with all the portals making you jump from one place to the other. You never thought different times would also mean different seasons.
It was getting… tiring, no, exhausting… mundane, even? You never thought this could happen. Here you were, pretty much risking your life every day you went out, even for a walk, with your favorite heroes, even involved with one or two (or three?) in a situationship way.
You were dealing with magic, learning a language that doesn't even exist where you come from, acting as an interpreter, trying (not) to reveal mysteries of all Links. And now you were saying to yourself that it was getting… boring?
Oh how weird human nature is.
A few of you were staying in the Forge in Hyrule Town tonight and sleeping on makeshift beds prepared by the Smith’s grandpa. Old Man insisted that you were all fine, that you had bedrolls, to no avail.
Of course now was one of the calmer times, albeit rare. You took the mug of hot chocolate you prepared in silence in the small kitchenette and looked around the room. You liked the silence of the forge, except the gentle crackling of fire… And of course, the lowkey snore of the Sailor, who somehow managed to roll himself ON the Captain like a ragdoll.
You were pretty sure he was aware, any of them would be. They were all seasoned adventurers who probably had to be vigilant as they slept outside, having a “bunny sleep” as they said where you came from. Instead of rolling him off, the Captain simply let him. A smile cracked near your lips as you turned to look outside.
You watched the snow slowly gather on the hills, covering the ground like cotton candy, the steam coming off the mug fogging the window. Roofs of the small houses and shops in the town were also slowly building a layer of snow on their thatched tops. How long would it last?
You thought of the routine of the people who live in Hyrule Town. A simple life. If not for the current adventure, the Smith would also have a similar one. Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, go to the Forge and work through the orders, spend some time with Zelda, talk to Minish…
You sighed. Wasn’t it also how your life was when you were in Post Calamity Hyrule? A simple routine, plenty of fresh air, time dedicated to learning. It was boring, but you liked “the boring”. It was such an awkward feeling to miss your previous “life”, even though you had another one before it.
Your “real” life. Where you had to wake up before dawn, get into crowded buses, have coffee as breakfast, sit on a chair a minimum of 8 hours a day, deal with people you’d rather not see, and make ends meet. Spend time with a loved one if you could find the energy. In the end, be so exhausted that you did not really have time for what mattered.
You sighed. Of course it wasn’t that simple.
“Couldn’t sleep?” the high baritone voice of the blonde gently spoke as he also sat down next to the window. Link.
“Just craved some chocolate,” you replied. It wasn’t exactly the truth, but not a lie either.
He understood and didn’t question it further, he also looked a bit nostalgic, his one open cerulean eye tinted with yearning for something far away.
“Wanna taste?” you offered your mug after you took a sip. So creamy and just sweet enough to not burn your throat.  “It tastes even better than genuine Belgian chocolate,”
He nodded thanks and gladly and took it to his lips. A glint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
“The milk in this…” he trailed off and then took another sip.
You gave him a lopsided smile. Of course, the world of Smithy also had a LonLon Ranch.
“... is indeed high quality,” you completed his sentence.
He chuckled to himself and returned the smile.
“Now that the pleasantries are over, what’s on your mind?”
You bit your lip. He never beat around the bush, you didn’t even fight back.
“I mean, aren’t you also a bit worried about the calm before the storm situation we have in our hands? It has been some time since there was a portal or any report of monsters,” you tried to change the subject, you didn’t know to what extent you can bore the Hero of Time.
The Hero of Time.
“I won’t lie and say it doesn’t bother me, but one should take the opportunity given and use it to rest.” he answered cautiously yet unconvinced.
He knew it wasn’t good to push you too much for answers, as you might spill something that can be about his fate. Even after a few years, it wasn’t clear to the rest of the Chain how much you actually knew about each of them.
“Link… I don’t want to burden you, it’s just stuff about my old life” you had a distant look in your eyes, thinking about the past. The future.
“I won’t pry, but know that I will lend an ear if you require it,” he put a hand on your shoulder as he looked into your eyes.
Din damn you, handsome blonde. Of course you would just spill everything. You were willing to do it anyway.
“You would think I’d miss my life and be in agony all the time, but…” Other than the fact that here I am with my favorite boys , you didn’t say out loud, “I do miss home , but also, on the days we have peace like this, I do appreciate the simplicity. I didn’t have that where I came from,” you started.
“I wouldn’t count the risk to life as simplicity, but well…” he raised an eyebrow.
“I mean overall…” you paused for a second. “You know, the simple life. Wake up, do things, spend time with loved ones, sleep?”
Oh Nayru, how do you explain a typical office job to someone like Link? He might not understand that perhaps, but he can understand “adult” you supposed.
He nodded. “… I miss the ranch and after finally having the simple life I desire, it does make me feel frustrated to be apart from it once again. I miss it too.”
“Yes but have you ever thought, ‘Damn I am so sick of this I just want some time to myself’ after a day in the ranch?” you were just probing another line of inquiry.
He chuckled the way you phrased it with such passion. “On the days I had to deal with cuccos specifically, I suppose.”
“So I assume you would spend your whole day in the Ranch, with Malon, have some time with Epona, sometimes go to Castle Town, the forest and such?”
He was curious to see where this was going.
“Pretty much, yes. Simple and quiet.” he nodded.
“Admit it, didn’t you get bored of it, ever?” you deadpanned.
“What? Why?” he looked a bit scandalized by your question, but you pressed on this time.
“Come on Link, be honest now.” you had a grin. He took the mug to his lips again as he rolled his eyes.
“Fine, sometimes it CAN get boring but not in a way you think it is, I love my wife and the ranch,” he protested mockingly as he drank the rest.
“.. But you already knew this, so what’s your point?” he looked back at you.
“Of course I know what you mean. It’s just, it is something you worked hard for in life and you love it, yet even that can feel mundane sometimes, that’s normal,” you held a finger almost to his lips to hush him as he was about to open his mouth again.
“Or you can be so in-love with your partner, but sometimes, as cruel as it can sound, you might need some alone time,” you added.
“Because you know you love them and they know you love them, there is trust,” he replied.
“Precisely, hence also why you can bear the distance a bit better, it is an established love, not taken for granted,” you winked. You could swear there was a bit of pink in his cheeks as he turned his gaze away, but maybe it was because of the hot chocolate.
You signed again.
“Now imagine, that you are still doing something you like but now you absolutely HAVE to do it, and after a day of it you are so exhausted that you can’t do other things you like, at least not as much of it,” you continued.
He was listening intently.
“Every day, almost the same, nothing new, and very limited time to create something new. After studying for almost 20 years… Mind you, I was… or am still one of the privileged ones over there. While studying I didn’t have enough of the material resources to do some of the things I liked but had some time. Then after I finished, I had the material resources but not the time,”
You spoke in one breath.
“And I was or am practically expected to keep doing this until I am an old lady, unless I win the lottery of some sorts or go into some other ventures,”
You guessed this was a good enough explanation for someone in his situation to understand. The word “corporate slavery” came to mind, but it was too early for that.
“...I see,” he replied, sensing you still have more to say.
“And I… have or had, a… uhm, romantic partner…”
He perked up a bit, he suspected it since he overheard your talk with the Champion, but tried not to let it show. He was aware of your involvement with the Champion, and even possibly with the Rancher.
“...in your world, you mean?”
You grimly nodded.
“I still don’t know if I will ever see them again. And what will happen once I do,”
You gulped, trying to fight the tears of guilt and shame back. You thought you shattered his image of you. Cheating on your partner. A deep breath.
“Y/N”
You looked back at him, his expression unreadable.
“I can’t know or claim to understand the exact thing you are going through. We all have our burdens. But…”
Oh there it was, the judgment was about to be passed.
“If they are YOUR partner, they would understand. But only you will be and can be the judge of your own,”
He wasn’t done.
“We all know the noble love stories where one waits for the other for a lifetime, I assume they also exist where you come from, yes?”
You nodded, holding back a sniffle.
“That’s all they are, stories, legends.”
So are you , you wanted to tell him.
“Look, Y/N. I would give my life for Malon.”
You never heard him speak like this.
“But If I were to be thrown off between different worlds and time, with no absolute guarantee that I would find my way back to her…”
You waited patiently.
You could see that it made even his eyes foggy. He kept looking outside the window, touching his own scars without realizing.
“...Time heals all wounds, even if it leaves scars. And scars, they hurt. (Y/N), you were gone for years from your own world with no way back in sight, and then thrown into another adventure,”
He turned back to you again.
“I believe, even I might not be able to stop my heart from fluttering again, if I were to be in your shoes,”
The tears were streaking your cheeks now. The guilt came back to haunt you again.
“But now, what if there is a way for me to get back?” your lips trembled. “How will I face them?”
“A friend once told me that the flow of time is cruel, you can’t prevent it from affecting you, in a good or in a bad way. When the time comes, you might have to face the consequences,” he said, as a matter of fact. It felt cold like the winter air outside.
“To them, I am a lost person for years. But there is always the possibility that if I ever can get back, it will just be as I left it…”  you trailed off.
The Old Man nodded.
“Don’t forget, time also could be flowing for them too, but knowing you, I’m sure there will be a way to reconcile. Together, or seperate.”
That’s why you liked this Link. He never tried to spoil and calm you with sweet words or false promises. He said what he thought as it was. That was his way of showing he cared.
That didn’t help the pang of guilt that threatened to boil in your stomach, but at least you felt calmer.
He got up and walked to his bedroll to pick up a blanket, and for some reason, still smoking hot mug of chocolate.
“Come, let’s go out a bit.”
You both sat down on the bench in front of the forge, wrapped up together in his blanket. He gave you the mug to keep your hands warm. You put your head on his shoulder. He adjusted the blanket a bit more for the both of you, and gazed into the stars between the clouds.
“Thank you, Link.”
“I’m sorry I can’t fix things, but I will be here to listen.”
You smiled.
“But Y/N, there is something,”
“Yeah?”
“What is ‘Belguain chocolate’?”
You let out a guffaw.

part 1 part 2
hi everyone lololol this is like the first ever fanfiction i've ever written, and im mega lazy to post this on ao3 so the chapters are gonna be here (^_^)
hope you enjoy!!
content ahead - this is purely platonic fanfiction to sedate my burning teenage delusions and cope with the fact that i wont be a silly little kid forever. nothing explicit other than violence and gore (this is a mk fic cmon now), isekai shenanigans lol, gn reader
word count - 1.4k
Tumblr media
They couldn't decide whether or not the sun was the leading factor in her satisfaction today, or if it was the gentle and cooling breeze that gently brushed against their body. It was quiet at the park, with no one else being there other than them. [name] was happily enjoying sitting on the grass with their headphones glued to their head.
"...It's just that I fell in love with a war," They hummed contently, a pleased sigh escaping their lips as they adjusted the volume of the music.
It was hard to find calm times like this nowadays. With exams and assessments basically leading to their schedule to be clogged with study, there wasn't a second to spare for some much needed down-time.
They pulled out their phone from their hoodie pocket, giggling slightly as their friend sent them yet another Johnny Cage edit. 'Nice try, but I've already seen this one', [name] smirked - still enjoying the video nonetheless.
The Mortal Kombat franchise was one that [name] had grown up with for most of their life. Starting with their dad brining home the disk for MK9 when they was young, to rediscovering the games through the release of MK12 - or - NEW Mortal Kombat 1.
They switched off the phone, their mind drifting to that silly game once more.
"I gotta finish invasion soon," They mumbled to themselves, slowly shutting their eyes to return to a much needed nap. Combined with the noise-cancelling headphones, music playing, and complete lack of vision, it was no wonder that [name] didn't immediately notice the bright and fire-y light coming into existence.
Though, not even a dead person would be able to ignore the blazing heat that hit their face as frames seemed to erupt and crackle violently appear mere metres in front of them.
[name] jumped up, startled and immediately scared for their safety as they scrambled backwards. They watched with widened and fearful eyes as they witnessed the catastrophic flames morph and twist in a circular pattern, defying all known laws of science to create a mesmerising pattern.
They flinched momentarily when there was a particularly loud spark, bringing both hands to their face to shield the excruciatingly bright light from their face (and out of fear). They couldn't see nearly as better as they did before with their limb obstructing their vision, but they couldn't decide if that was a good or bad thing.
There was a few moments of silence. The loud sounds of the flames dying out, only producing a significantly quieter hum and crackle. reluctance and fear hung quite prevalently in the air, as [name] was extremely reluctant to open their eyes. Perhaps their eyes were playing tricks on them, and that the headphones they purchased were duds - and they should check the warranty immediately. Yet, the calming presence of someone fills their senses, confusingly lowering [name]'s caution to an alarming extent.
How could they tell that there was someone near them, despite covering their eyes and having no way of seeing? Gotta be magic.
A few more seconds of silence went past as [name] continued to shield their face. The immense feeling of fear was mostly gone, but [name] wasn't ready to uncover her eyes out of nervousness at this point.
Someone cleared their throat before speaking, their soothing deep voice surprising the silent teen, "Are you alright?"
[name] made no immediate move to uncover their eyes, nor did they give a clear response to the strangers question. They wondered if what they saw was a hallucination, and some poor passerby witnessed her schizophrenic outburst whilst passing by.
A shaken exhale left [name]'s mouth as they mustered up a timid reply - still not uncovering their eyes, "I-I'm fine... Must have not gotten enough sleep, thats all..."
There was a rich chuckle at the teen's reply, "I am deeply sorry for the surprise, but I can assure you what you saw was real."
[name] removed their slightly clammy hands away from their flushed face, jaw dropping comically as they took in the appearance of the man in front of them.
"Thats a r-really good Liu Kang cosplay," they breathed, embarrassed that they stuttered twice now in front of this scarily accurate looking Liu Kang.
The cosplayer(?) raised an eyebrow at the teen's remark, "You know of me?"
There was a few awkward moments of silence as [name] attempted to piece together the evidence they've witnessed thus far. Giant fire portal, man who looks exactly like Liu Kang, WITH the big glowing eyes as well? There was an itching suspecting at the back of their head suggesting that MAYBE this wasn't just a cosplayer.
[name]'s face flushed once more as they realised they're actually in Liu Kang's presence, someone whom they openly thirsted over in the comment sections of edits and particular tumblr texts. How a fictional character had suddenly become real is beyond her.
Liu Kang, whom up till this point hadn't received an answer from the teen was growing steadily cautious, "I understand I am not in a timeline parallel to mine, as I am here as a result of a miscalculated travel. My knowledge of this 'universe' only extends to the point of knowing that my world, doesn't exist in yours. So answer me, how do you know of me?"
His bright eyes that previously looked so welcoming had suddenly seemed intimidating as Liu Kang stared down the teenager. [name]'s sweat dropped at his demand - yet, they couldn't keep themselves from being flustered around him.
'GOD DAMN THIS MAN IS ACTUALLY SO FINE??? GOTTA THANK HIM FOR MAKING HIMSELF SO HOT???' they internally fanned over. They suddenly realised they hadn't answered his very serious and borderline threatening demand as they met his burning eyes once more.
'Should I be honest? Or should I go on a tangent to make myself seem mysterious-' They cut their thoughts off, 'What am I saying, honest should be the only option.'
[name] cleared their throat, "Well, you and... your worlds are in the form of consumable media in this universe(?)," the teen began, "Your 'franchise' - otherwise known as Mortal Kombat - has been adapted into films, books, video-games and more. In other words, your being is pure fiction for us."
That long and awkward silence returned once again, an unreadable expression crossing over Liu Kang's face as he took a moment to gaze upon the park that surrounded the two.
"Is that so?" He began, an unfamiliar tone to his voice, "Then I take that you know what has and will happen in my world, yes?"
A comical 'gulp' sound left [name]'s throat as they blinked owlishly, "U-uh yeah. Though I wouldn't think it'd be wise to spoil the future, that would change the outcome and ruin fate y'know?"
Liu Kang nodded slightly, "I agree. Though, I am still very curious about you."
He went silent once again, his eyes closing for a few seconds before he turns around to his still-open portal. [name] could see the courtyard of Wu Shi academy through the portal, watching as monks trained.
"I must be going. There has been a mistake in my calculations, and I apologise for the intrusion."
[name] watched helplessly as Liu Kang walked through the portal back into his own universe, turning around to meet the teen's gaze much more. He seemed back to his calmer mood, giving [name] a kind and polite smile.
"It was a pleasure meeting you."
[name] wasn't sure if they were ready to say goodbye to Liu Kang just yet, who wouldn't be excited upon finding one of their favourite fictional characters was in fact, real? It would be a hell of an opportunity to pass up to leave this interaction here, and the teen's minds was rushing with possibilities about meeting the rest of the cast - travelling to outworld, experiencing a new universe.
As if their body moved on it's own, [name] sprung up to their feet as Liu Kang turned around - the once fiery portal quickly closing and losing it's presence. There was no chance for either [name] nor Liu Kang to react as the teen's body came barreling through the small opening of the portal, smashing into Liu Kang's back and colliding with the white-pebbled floors of the Wu Shi Academy.
Oh Boy.
Tumblr media
thanks for reading! this is my first ever fanfiction, so im super excited to be finally posting this. this was also not proofread lmao so please don't hesitate to point out any spelling/grammar issues (im used to writing male/fem readers for fun in the past, so i might've accidently used the wrong pronouns for [name] a few times (v-v)
see you in the next chapter!

Thinking about how Al haitham needs to know 20 or 30 languages or smth and wonder how would he act with an isekai!reader who speaks aave
Now it’s easy to say he’ll dismiss it as something not considered “academic knowledge”, but I like to think whenever reader is talking Al haitham is in the background writing down all the shit they say with all seriousness
I can imagine most of their interactions going something like this:
Reader: Deadass he buggin’! Bro if he don’t stop, imma start throwing hands! You got it?
Al haitham:

Edit: after some people pointed out that this is aave and not slang, I didn’t know there was an actual name to it. My bad

Fallen in Middle... Sea?
Okay, I just had a dream (that someone would please come and steal and write). Case in point 1. Persona falls into Middle Earth is one of my favorite tropes when people get all technical and discuss differences and such. 2. I just saw the Rings of Power. So, here we go with a bad written prompts of mine (fell free to use it) It's female coded because it's actually all a dream I had.
Reader may or may not be more or less a Tolkien fan, but between one thing and another she knows more or less what Sillmarion, the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings are about (a lot of Wikipedia may or may not have helped).
But what does Reader know about the TV series "The Rings of Power"? Which is a series PENDING TO BE RELEASED in a few days. Galadriel comes out, Sauron comes out and a lot of OCs come out. Is written in the 2nd Age, about which hardly a thing is known. And people is already complaining because that and people of color or something like that. Reader gives two shits about it.
Soooooo The curtain opens.
Reader wakes up (not to mention almost drowns) in the open sea, nothing in sight. She is rescued by a bunch of people and all wears medieval clothes and speaks an unknown language. And they itch her clothes. What's so strange about her clothes!!? (they should be grateful that you're wearing long pants!!)
In any case, after a time at sea where only a couple of people try to communicate with her (Not to be ill-considered, but Reader believes that she already knows the word prostitute, whore or equivalent in the language of these people although what she has been taught does not include that word) something hits the ship and smashes it to pieces. Which leads them to wander aimlessly for two days or so. They will all be wet and hungry but the atmosphere is all hot and smoky!
In the wreckage of the ship you rescue someone who introduces herself as Galadriel. Cue your world going crazy because WAIT, this IS Middle Earth? (I mean, you had had clues because of how people blasphemes and blesses, but denial is a powerful weapon) What is Galadriel doing in the middle of the sea, with such a hidden bad character btw? (THAT IS NOT IN ANY BOOK!!!) And well, from here the story begins. Only you Halbrand (appropriately one of the few interested parties who was nice to you) and Galadriel survive the next attack at sea. You are rescued by hotty Elendil, etc.
Thus Reader becomes friends with these two sharing the "culture" of their "country" (world) and their eclectic knowledge. It may or may not be that Reader supports that Halbrand wants to spend the hell out of his "inheritance" (because long live democracy and things should be voluntary for people prepared for it and feeling it, although Reader admits that Halbrand is super smart -suspiciously even for a HUMAN commoner).
Also both (Halbrand and you) of you are considering making a place for yourself in Numenor (well, more him than you, Reader is thinking that if Galadriel is not an option, she doesn't know who to ask about her situation, since you never know where Gandalf is. Some other Istar, maybe?) but in the meantime you learn from their healers and try to adapt to the somewhat misogynistic culture (Why is everyone surprised that she is NOT married with children back her home, goddammit!) and wears long dresses everywhere -also PADS send help!!!- and you may be developing a crush (reciprocate, is he courting you?? Wow, how strange this world is!!) on Halbrand but rather die than hook up with a future king (first is to try to return home, if that is not possible, try to live a peaceful -no obligations- life, perhaps among the hobbits)
[Reader is a fan, but not a hardcore fan, she's not aware of certain things, in fact, she's still wondering when Gandalf and Mordor is going to appear, like, isn't it supposed to be IN the Southlands? Shouldn't she stop Halbrand or more like Galadriel to push Halbrand from going?)]
In my dream Reader calls herself a healer because is the closest thing in Middle-earth to her job (you can think whatever you want) and because of her knowledge she accompanies and helps Halbrand and Galadriel to the Southern Lands and later to the Elf Kingdom (making the trip not have to be so drastic and hasty).
Galadriel also mentions that "the three of us have met for some purpose" Because anyone can see that Reader is almost as out of place in Middle Earth as "The Istar" was upon his arrival (It doesn't help that Reader doesn't take off her sneakers/sport shoes/boots even by begging... I suspect she sudenly cares lot about her bra now). Some people call her behind her back "The Naive Wise One" because she knows and teach so much but at the same time she doesn't know.

<- Previous Chapter l Next Chapter ->
Tumblr media
“Tell me about the part where she left you standing in the rain again.”
„Are you out of your mind? Get back into the salon right now, (y/n)!”
“My decision stands. I won’t marry a man like Gojo Satoru.”
Your brother spun you around with ease, his hand wrapped around your wrist so tightly that your bones cracked underneath his rough touch while Gojo stayed back inside the salon, visibly surprised by your rejection.
“He is the prince. Don’t you know how lucky you are that he even considers taking you as his wife?”, your brother hissed through gritted teeth, venom spitting from his threatening orbs.
“That doesn’t change the fact that I don’t want him, doesn’t it?”
“She looked at me with a determination in her eyes I never saw in a woman before, told me she won’t marry me and stormed away without another word”, Satoru repeats while his finger glides up and down his chin thoughtfully.
What an unusual experience. Not only for his status as prince, but the given fact that he has a gorgeous face and a well-toned body, all women were head over heels for him since he was young. But you…you looked at him with such disinterest that he can’t stop thinking about you. You, a member of the Zenin family. Even though you already live a carefree life in one of the wealthiest and most influential families of this country, a marriage with a prince would have been your coup, the greatest honor you could bring to your family.
He chuckles.
And you rejected him.
He can’t be mad at his best friend for laughing out loud while shaking his head.
“I never thought I would witness a woman rejecting you. And that as a daughter of the Zenin family, a truly brave Lady”, Suguru finally comments in sheer amusement.
“I wonder why she left so suddenly. She didn’t even give me the chance to explain myself, let alone introduce me properly. You know what she called me?”
“You are nothing but a philanderer, a pompous prince who thinks he rules the world just by the power of his bright blue eyes. Excuse my harsh words, but I am not the one for you, prince.”
“A pompous?”, Satoru repeated, a smile creeping up his face.
“Yes, a pompous. Now excuse me, I was actually busy when you arrived. Have a pleasant travel back home, Prince Satoru.”
“Your reputation seems to precede you, my friend”, Suguru replies before breaking out in laughter again.
Satoru slides forward in his chair, eyes narrowed in a desperate attempt to hold onto the memories of your flawless face. What a remarkable woman you are, truly outstanding in contrast to the usual monotone Ladies he has to endure. It’s not a secret to anyone that he enjoys female company, always surrounded by multiple women at once. But a pompous? It was never more than a friendly talk or two, he never invited one of those boring girls into his sheets.
“We’ll see how this goes, Suguru. Maybe she will come back to her senses, after all.”
“Are you out of your mind, (y/n)?”, none other than your father shouts at you.
You can’t help but swallow hard. His sheer presence alone sends shivers down your spine, well-aware of the fact how threatening the man standing only inches away from you can be.
“Just what I expected. I always knew you are useless, sister. Your only job is to marry the prince and you are even unable to do that”, your brother spits at you.
“Are you even aware of how much time it cost me to arrange the prince of this country visiting you? Are you even aware how much money I spent on your education, your clothes, your maids? Listen to my words: You will marry the prince, (y/n). Or else I will show the world who you really are. Out of all people, you should know best what this world does with people who inherit special powers. You will burn at the stake like your mother.”
You swallow hard, all air drained from your lungs. The way his eyes gleam at you tell you all too urgently that he is serious about his words. Your mother…She was never mentioned in the manga or anime. Is Naobito Zenin cruel enough to kill the mother of his own children? And most importantly, what are those special powers he was talking about? Is this…jujutsu? Are you…a jujutsu sorcerer in this world?
“I am your daughter”, you press out, the hurts almost not leaving your tongue.
“Would you really kill me over a broken engagement?”
“Dear (y/n). I don’t care about who you are. The only reason you are alive until this day is my plan to marry you into royalty. Apart from that, I have no use for you.”
He grabs your arm so roughly that you can’t escape, the stinging smell of alcohol coming from his hot breath almost causing you to choke. In this situation with no way out, the painful truth draws to you.
It doesn’t matter if you really hold special powers you are unaware of in this world or that you are his daughter. If you don’t play along, you will die all over again. Just like you did in your first life…
The glowing headlights of the car crash into you over and over in your mind. The feeling of your bones cracking, your blood discolouring the street crimson, how your heart stopped beating, the violent screams of your friends.
You shake your head vehemently, glossy eyes widen in sheer horror. You don’t want to die all over again, not when you were given this unique second chance. There has to be a way out of this misery. Maybe…Maybe…
“Then allow me to visit the prince myself and fix this situation.”
You still refuse to live a life on Gojo Satoru’s side when there are men like Geto or Nanami. But you will find a solution. After all, this is still somehow the Jujutsu Kaisen universe you know so well, right? You just have to. You won’t throw away your newfound life so easily.
“Now look at that”, he purrs to himself while holding up the piece of paper than informs him about your visit.
You didn’t even wait for his reply. As his valet said, your carriage is already on its way. What made you change your mind?
How ridiculous to even ask this question. Your family is known for being strict, especially when it comes to their female members. Your brother and father probably forced you to rethink your situation and showed you your place. As a woman, you have no worth apart from marrying into a wealthy family. Since the day you were born, your father always tried to find a way for you and therefore himself into royalty. Your whole education was built around the thought that you might become queen someday.
And you rejected his wish by rejecting Gojo Satoru himself.
“Let’s see what you have to tell me, (y/n)”, he mutters to himself.
“Your Majesty, Lady-“
“Good day, Your Majesty. I am deeply grateful for this renewed meeting”, you speak out while you bow politely in the door.
Your heart almost beats out of your chest. It takes all your strength to stop your palms from getting sweaty, to not ruin your makeup out of excitement. Oh, you truly don’t want to be here right now. It is all too clear that you are capable of living a happy life without a man by your side. You’ve been alone your entire life, didn’t care about a male ever before.
And Gojo Satoru is no exception, even in the form of an influential prince.
You bite your lip, fingernails digging into your gloved hands. But still, you depend on his help and understanding at this very moment. If he doesn’t agree on helping you on his own…
You will have to find a way to force him into it.
“I am delighted to see you again, Lady (y/n). Even though this is the only option after you gave me no choice”, he replies with a slight grin.
That bastard. The gleam in his eyes makes it all too clear that he is very aware of why you decided to pay him a visit. With the movement of his hand, he orders you to sit down on an expensive-looking…what is this called? A canapé? He sits down opposite of you, eyes fixated on yours.
“It was truly surprising hearing from you after you rejected me so boldly earlier this morning.”
His words sting like knives, force your eyes to narrow. Well, maybe because you were literally forced here to fix the engagement you don’t want.
You take a deep breath. Catch yourself. If you want someone like Gojo Satoru to give you another chance, you have to stay strong.
“I rethought my decision the second you left. I would love to accept your engagement, Prince Satoru. But only under one condition.”
He tilts his head to the side in surprise. You, having conditions for an engagement with the Prince? How unusual. But the gleam in your lavender eyes tell him that you mean what you say.
“Please enlighten me, Lady (y/n).”
All of the sudden, your fingertips start shaking. You dig your nails into your thighs, take a few deep breaths in and out. Please, just say yes. Please don’t ask any further questions.
“As we will be considered engaged on the outside for the sake of both of our peace, I will follow the duties as the Prince’s fiancé at any official occasion. But I will never have any romantical interest in you, I do not wish to share more time than needed with you by my side. I still don’t want to marry you as well as you aren’t interested in being tied to a single woman. This agreement would benefit both of us and will be dissolved as soon as it no longer has any use.”
Thick silence hangs in the room, tension within reach. He slides forwards, amusement glimmering in his bright blue orbs.
“I respectfully decline your offer, Lady (y/n). Have a pleasant travel back home”, he replies before getting up and making his way out of the room.
For a moment, the world stops spinning, you are too stunned to speak. Did he just…refuse your offer? But why? You always thought he would be the last person who wants to marry a single woman. And if your father pressures you into a marriage, a prince like him is definitely forced to marry soon as well. It is clear that this benefits both of you…So why? Out of instinct, you jump up, hands clenched into fists.
“If you don’t accept…”
Gojo Satoru stops right in his tracks, head moving to the side ever so slightly.
“I will uncover that you are in possession of special powers. I will destroy your reputation and therefore your chances for the throne. So, do we have a deal? ”
Tumblr media
Do they have a deal? Find out in next chapter! Let me thank y'all for your amazing support for chapter 1 and this whole idea. Apple Merchant [BOTW!Link x Isekai!Reader] (Part 2)
For any partnership to work, communication is key.
More self-indulgent trash for the soul.
PART: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6
Alternate Extras: Embrace
Masterlist
TW: Nothing worth mentioning.
Disclaimer: Don't own The Legend of Zelda franchise.
---
It seemed infinitesimal: a single apple missing from the vast pool of resources you'd amassed over the years. Barely a drop in the metaphoric ocean and you'd treated it as such. At first.
A simple miscount, you'd reasoned. Not even you, with your convenient auto-sorting ability nor years of modern schooling, was immune to the inevitably of human error.
Days passed. Nothing much changed. Except that it did.
One mistake was expected. Two was acceptable. But Three? Four? You had your suspicions, but you'd pushed them aside and carried on as usual. Ignoring the cold pit opening in your stomach with each misplaced object. Every inconceivable miscount that only seemed to pile into a whirlwind of inevitability.
It escalated, because of course it would.
When one of your swords disappeared, you ignored the thundering of your heart. When your leftover meat skewers were suddenly two less? You balled your hands in your lap to prevent them from shaking.
Then, a week after the towers rose, your warm doublet vanished right off your back, leaving you suddenly in the plain clothes beneath. You stopped paying attention to the world for a while after, taking deep breaths to ease the tension in your body.
Once able to draw breath more freely, you put on your significantly less warm overshirt and pressed onward. Stopped at the nearest stable (Dueling Peaks, hours off of your intended route), ignored your guard's concerned (annoyed in Adino's case) stares and rented three beds for the night.
It took a long time for sleep to take you, but eventually you succeeded.
When you opened your eyes it was early morning, but still later than you'd usually be up by. The stable master was just starting his day, eating a quick breakfast of eggs and porridge. You should have been gone long before anyone else in the tent had even left their beds.
Your guard, Skims, glanced over at you from his own bed, concern evident on his weathered, weary face. He must have noticed the change in your breathing as you woke. You could see the question in his eyes, the way his brows rose just slightly and his mouth quirked.
You gave him a small shake of the head, a tired smile, and he nodded in understanding before rolling out of bed with a dramatic groan. It pulled a snort from you and you just caught the edge of a satisfied smile at the corner of his lips.
Man needed another raise. Fourth one this year but his loyalty and care was well worth the expense.
With that thought you pulled yourself from bed, fighting against the spring morning chill as you removed the covers from your sleep warmed body. Putting your feet to the ground was misery, and pulling away from the plush bedding a test of your resolve.
Beside you Skims was smirking in his tired way, knowing full well just how deeply the hyrulian cold effected you. His own metabolism kept him damn near toasty in all but the harshest climates, and he took quiet glee in watching you huff and silently whine against the nip of crisp morning air.
You cast a tired eyed glare up at him and he chuckled, knowing what you were thinking. He was right, for the record. You were thinking about how sweet revenge would be the next time you made for Gerudo.
Scratch that. Skims would be all too pleased to be back in that forsaken desert. Would even request a few days off to visit his three (that's right, three) gerudo baby mama's and four daughters.
You didn't think about it too much. It wasn't your business, and as far as you knew, all participants were happy with the arrangement. It wasn't your concern.
You sighed, taking the loss for what it was. Skims, at least, had the grace to not voice it aloud. Though you could feel the smug amusement radiating off of him well enough that it hardly mattered.
"I'll let Adino know we'll be heading for Hateno soon." He offered in the way of a peace offering, and at your nod he slipped out of the stable entryway without another word.
You stared after him, taking in the red-tinted dawn light bathing the world beyond. Stealing yourself against the persistent drafts leaking through the open tent flaps you began to ready yourself for the day.
You wondered if Link was okay. You were glad he had something warm to protect him through the night, even if it was at your expense.
As quickly as they'd come, you pulled away from those thoughts before they could fully take hold. Therein lies the path to lunacy, and bankruptcy.
The man now had access to your entire inventory, and if current happenings had told you anything it was that he had absolutely no qualms in using it. Be that because of his amnesia, his situation, his personality or even a mix of the three, you didn't know. And honestly, it didn't matter. The ending was the same.
Loss of merchandise. Loss of revenue. Perhaps even the loss of your business. All things you'd very much like to avoid.
Once dressed you took a moment to recenter yourself.
The next few days were going to be long and arduous.
---
You'd made it to Hateno without further delay, though you had to travel for two days nonstop to make up for lost time (stopping only to refresh the horses, much to Adino's irritation). By the end of it Skims was looking more weary than usual and Adino (a skinny hyrulian teenager with dark hair and a sour expression) more surly.
You slipped them both a few extra rupees before giving them the week off until further notice and Adino seemed to forgive you a little. Skims had just smiled gratefully, and when Adino had slipped away into the nearest alley, you'd handed Skims another hundred.
The older hyrulian's raised brows was merely answered by a small smile and a shooing motion, to which he huffed a dry laugh and obeyed the dismissal. You returned his backwards wave with one of your own even though he didn't see it. Or maybe he did.
Hard to tell with that man.
After that, you wasted no time in getting back to business. You visited all the stores on the main strip, catching up on the latest news from Pruce and giving him first pick of your more uncommon stock. He was your most valued business partner after all, and the one who gave you your moniker.
You owed him so much for helping you find your feet in those overwhelming early days. He'd put so much time and effort into your integration, bought so many god-damned unnecessary apples because you'd had nothing else to offer.
First pick of the batch was the least you could do in return for his continued kindness.
"There's a new house for sale." Pruce said conversationally, leaning against the counter as he begun picking through his new merchandise.
"Oh?" You'd inquired back politely, not really interested but willing to hear out any bits of information that may one day prove useful to you.
"Yeah. The abandoned one across the old bridge. The council has decided to sell it. If it doesn't go within the month, it's getting demolished."
Something nagged at the back of your mind, but you couldn't pin it down before it slipped away. Instead of dwelling on it, you thanked him for the information and took your leave.
The rest of that afternoon was rather uneventful. You walked the village back roads with quiet nostalgia, gazing up at the newly blossoming apple trees and freshly grown grass with heartfelt fondness. Eventually you passed the budding fields nestled in the far back of the village. Beyond that, the solitary apple tree you'd first been enamored with when you'd first arrived in this world.
And there it stood, seemingly unchanged after five years. Always the early bloomer. And bearer.
You touched the weathered bark gently, letting the rough surface ground you once more in reality. "Hello. You're as magnificant as ever, my friend. May this year be fruitful for you." It was silent as expected, but you leaned your head to the trunk and sent your thanks to it regardless.
Your first lifeline, a silent reminder of everything this world had given you. Even if no one understood, this tree deserved your utmost respect.
You took your time walking back to the village proper, breathing in the fresh, cool air with renewed appreciation. You were reminded once more that this land, these people, this new life had been kind to you.
With the uncertainty of Link's awakening lingering in your mind, you needed that reminder now more than ever.
Feeling lighter than you had in weeks, out of curiosity you took the long way around to inspect the new property for sale. Not that you had any intention of buying, but it wouldn't hurt to look.
It did, in fact, hurt. Like the scene from an overly dramatic psychological thriller, the moment you laid eyes on the house you remembered.
50,000 Rupees. Bolson. Link. The deal.
During your other life, when this had all been just a game, you'd dismissed the initial offer the first time you'd talked to Bolson. He'd then presented a discounted offer of 3000 and some odd amount of wood immediately after.
You'd never taken the first offer. It hadn't been practical for you at the time. You hadn't had the means to make that much rupees in such a short amount of time.
But Link had no limitations this go around.
He had your checkbook at his fingertips and no issue utilizing it.
50,000 rupees.
50 Thousand rupees.
Fifty Thousand rupees.
Fuck...
---
A moblin lumbered about the dense forest in slow, stumbling steps, sniffing at the air in search of its hidden adversary. It snorted, picking up an acorn and huffing at it inquisitively, tossing it away when it gave it no leads.
Hidden in the topmost branches of an elder tree, Link scrolled through his Sheikah slate, unbothered. Not much of anything felt threatening to him in these parts, not with the stash of weaponry and armor sets he'd found in his slate's inventory.
Especially not with the fairies stored away in there. 249 to be exact. Formerly 252.
Not for the first time he wondered who the slate belonged to before him. It most certainly had an owner at some point, if the sheer amount of useful items within it was anything to go by.
Had they died? He hoped not. That didn't seem right to him, though he couldn't pinpoint why he thought this.
Honestly, he didn't know much of anything. He just knew he was happy to have all these useful things waiting for him when he...woke up.
He wasn't sure what he'd have done if he'd started out with nothing. Not even memories of what to do to sustain and better himself.
He pulled a honey candy from the slate and popped it in his mouth as he continued to scroll, ignoring the moblin stomping around the base of the tree. It'd never find him anyway, simple-minded as it was. He hummed in happiness as the sweet treat began to melt on his tongue, ears twitching with delight.
After a time, he eventually made it near the end of the list (pulling some fire chuchu jelly from it) and was about to take care of his unwelcome guest. Until he noticed something off.
Some of the items near the end of the list looked fewer then before. Not just fewer, in fact. Some were gone entirely.
Link tilted his head, bright blue eyes widening with interest, candy held forgotten between his teeth. His breath hitched a bit, something warm and fierce growing rapidly in his chest as he noted more and more discrepancies he'd failed to notice before.
He spit the candy out and it hit the moblin on the head, causing it to growl lowly and whip it's head around in search of its assailant. Link wasn't paying attention to that though. That wasn't important.
At the very end of the inventory list he found a note. A simple slip of paper with his name emblazoned on it with black ink.
His heart begun race at the sight of it.
This was it. Proof that this slate had belonged to someone before. No. That there was someone, right now, who had access to the same technology, was bound to the same destiny.
They knew his name. They knew he was there in the world, and they were reaching out to him.
He wasn't alone. They're alive. They're real.
He was not alone anymore.
He wasted no time in taking the note from the inventory, face lighting up with awe as he took in the contents of the paper.
A dozen fire jellies, a torch and a piece of flint made quick work of the moblin, ripping it apart in a flash of light so suddenly it hadn't even the chance to properly squeal in terror.
Link paid its abruptly silenced death throes no mind. Instead, he jumped from the tree with one powerful leap, snapping his glider open to soar over the valley laid out far below.
He had no time for distractions now. He had to get to Kakariko as soon as possible, find this Impa woman and get directions to Hateno.
The voice in his head would have to wait a little longer. This Calamity guy too. Right now he had more pressing matters.
He needed get to Hateno. Where his new home was. Where their home was.
---
Link,
There is a house waiting for you in Hateno. Present this Proof of Purchase to the Village Council upon arrival.
Be sure to inform me before making any purchases exceeding 10,000 rupees. Use this note system to relay details.
If applicable, forward a list of necessary items and I will precure them for you.
Let's work well together. I look forward to doing business with you.
Your's truly,
AM

Must return to the shadows to recharge and recoup. (I lied. I stayed up editing this instead of sleeping. Don't post tired, you make lots of errors.)

This is a little something from @sheepispink idea with the grand sage reader
WC: 2.1k
The foreigner that appeared out of thin air was both a headache and a stress reliever for Al haitham.
One one hand how does one live such a mundane life for them to leave no traces behind yet somehow amass such a great and vast quantity of knowledge the own dendro archon wanted a personal meeting.
No matter where he went, how he asked or even who he asked al-haitham couldn't get a solid background. Yes, there seemed to be enough proof that you might have came from a lone village, some people think hearing baby cries and toddlers babbles around a seemingly desserted cabin, yet the local school held no record of you being enrolled, all 10 children there not matching your profile.
After months of searching there seems ti be only one answer. A natural prodigy that learned everything from scratch and some books people would leave on their tables.
After all, beggars can't be choosers and he assigns you the title of great sage. One down he guesses, less job left to do.
Traveler didn't seem too freaked out about it after all a natural prodigy was one of the more normal sounding things in his life right now. Up until a meeting nahida offered to take him.
"So you know everything" He asked breaking the silence that was formed long before they came. In a way he was assuring you were aware of their presence, too engrossed measuring some herbs that later he would find out were tea leaves.
"Traveler!" Nahida pitched in, already knowing you don't like being interrupted before the tea was served
" Mhm?" You didn't take your eyes off the bluish flowered you were measuring " some people say that. I think I know just enough to get by" the hot water was transferred from a ceramic teapot to a glass one, slowly infusing with the blue flowers
" The traveler wanted to ask you something" nahida was seated in a cushion facing you. You still were focused in your tea ritual, now cutting lemons and limes. You only answered with a little sound
" If you know so much, then you must know where my sister is." He sits straight as if already knowing you won't tell him straightforward
You take your time to answer, pouring everyone a cuo" I can't tell you that just yet" you squeeze the slice of lemon over your cup, slowly turning from blue to purple " that information isn't available to me just yet, my abilities have a limit. You know?"
" What?" Aether was surprised
" After the death of-" you stop, swiftly looking at nahida " my patron god my knowledge only extends to things that are set in stone, if the future might change then i can't know it. I'm sorry"
He noticed the quick way your eyes went over nahida when you mentioned death. Could you? " Nahida, can you let the traveler and I speak alone? We got private matters to speak of" nahida was a bit stunned but agreed
" The only thing that i know about lumine is that she is working closely with the abyss and that she won't let you get to her until you traveled and went through every if the seven nations, i guess she wants you to see the true nature of this world" one of your hands stirred the tea" from the laziness to the pride to the wrath" you sip the tea, leaning back " or so i think! It could be anything really!"
" You are not from this world " he simply said
" Ugh, don't tell me you also believe in that strange theory of me being an alien or something strange like that…"
" Then how do you explain knowing that Greater Lord Rukkhadevata isn't nahida. And the fact she di-" paimon insisted like a child wanting to get answers
" Enough" the hand around his shoulder wasn't specially heavy or painful yet it made him tense up" In the same way a kid can't order its parents around the Irminsul can't boss me around. Now. I think you should leave before I make you"
Aether looks up, eyes blown wide. Your patience preceded you, seeing you snap like that took him off guard. He leaves just as you ordered as does paimon
Your finger dances against the rim of the teacup lightly laughing " my god. He is so dumb to actually believe that fake acting. I was so close too cringing" you down the tea
" Maybe I went off too strong, but either way I needed him to believe I'm from this world" you cup your face between your hands " ugh, why did i have to slip like that with the nahida stuff. If they found out I'm from another word it would be such a pain"
You stand up and walk to the bedroom, your last meeting already done seeming and already tired of tomorrows occurrences, surely al-haitham would come first thing in the morning, asking about some niche subject, a few of the akademia students would come with the same problem as the others, and maybe if you were lucky you would get to walk around and help a seller or an ermite with a mundane inconvenience, get lunch and go on with a lazy life.
If only you could skip over to lunch everyday.
Just as you guessed at 6:30 on the dot al-haitham was knocking down on your door, and next to him was another test you guessed
" Morning. Hope you rested well" just as always he found you prepping the breakfast
" Thanks. I hope you slept well too"
" Today I just need you to name some plants I got. This test was specifically made by the biology branch and the forest rangers so i will be checking your answers with the piece of paper that was provided" you buttered a toast, sprinkling some spices over it
" They said these are the easiest ones, so let's get them out of the way"
A sunssettia, an apple and an harra fruit were set behind you. Just as you thought about it a screen appeared over each of them and you just read it out
" Those are are Syzygium samarangense, or a sunssettia" you pointed from the left to the right " Malus domestica, a common apple, and Terminalia chebula, harra fruit"
" Easy wasn't it?"
" I thought that you came over for a test, not a chat. I would have accepted your offering if you asked me out, scribe, you don't have to beat around the bush" you tease him, if he wasn't so stuck up you would have kissed him already.
" Hush" he places two leaves, one rounder and wider and other thin and long. Immediately two pages pop up. "They said these were a bit too specific so don't force it too much"
" Is the first one a liyue money plant?" Al-haitham nods lightly " and the other is citronella"
" Very well. All of them are right. Just as yesterday" you just smile mockingly
" Did you expect anything else from me?" He sighs and grabs a toast
" It's to make sure. How much cayenne did you add to the paste, i think it's too overbearing"
" Just 5 grams or so" you were already expecting that he wouldn't be content with the expected questions
" And this weighs around 340 grams" he weighs the bowl with one hand. He looks at you " how much of this dip is cayenne pepper? Quick"
A red and white page opens up, you quickly input a simple reason:
340gr — 100%
5gr — x%
Automatically the answer pops up in a red square
X% = 1.47059%
" Around 1.47%. Either way that bowl is a bit heavy so it could be a bit higher"
" It could be. Are you sure you only used 5 grams? It is a bit too spicy for breakfast.
" Oh i just estimated but I think I did add at least quadruple the amount " you laugh
" Well, goodbye. I hope tomorrow you will welcome me with something more edible." he grabs the leaves and papers he spread around the table before tucking them in his bag
"Even a baby could it this" you make fun of him "oow, is the little baby sad? Do you want milk or a change of diapers?"
" I think it is enough with your jokes" he seems irritated but deep down you know he find it funny
" If there is anyone outside, tell them I won't wake up until around 8." You beg him. You just want one breakfast without correcting an undergrad thesis
" I will. Don't worry"
He leaves and for a second you hold your breath.
1
2
3
4
5 seconds without someone knowing on your door. It feels like a dream. Grabbing an idli and a spoon with the spicy dip you slowly fill the idli before eating it. As soon as you swallow you are interrupted again
" Great sage! I beg you to please review my thesis" another student comes knocking on your door with tears in their eyes. If haven't gone through the pain they are suffering you would have kicked them out
" Let me have a look then" you must have sounded really annoyed given how quickly the student brought it out.
As soon as you open it a word- like document appears in front of it. The grammatical errors are in red, the orthographic mistakes in yellow and the things that were wrong fundamentally were highlighted in purple
" Fundamentally you made no mistakes, everything is true. But you should check these sentences." You tap the handle edge of the spoon against the paper where the document was marked red
" It could be read better as 'Its object is a practical one, to determine by scientific considerations the shape of lens best adapted to improve the capabilities of the telescope, which had been invented not long before.' Maybe you could expand on this and it would be very interesting to see this too " you write some annotations on a spare napkin.
" !!! Thanks a lot grand sage" she grabs the napkins and looks over them before reaching for the door
" Hey kid!" She looks over her shoulder " make sure to eat something. You almost blacked out standing up too fast " she smiles and waves you goodbye
As soon as she left a merchant dressed in fine silks marches in, you already knew him, he already visited you with questions about investments
" Mhm? Why are you visiting again? Having questions about what to invest in again?" You open and fill another idli and swallow it whole
" Not this time, grand sage!" He laughs loudly " I just wanted to run this by you. It's the estimated budget for the carpets the akademia asked for! " He beams, he might be a bit old, maybe old enough to be your father but he still keeps that youthful shine.
" Mh… I think there is a mistake. This is the budget for 18 green emerald carpets and 25 brown jars. The akademia asked for 55 green emerald carpets but also 40 brown coffee ones" you read over the codes written at the side comparing them to the ones that were on your Excel. It's a good thing you saved the pricing list of this merchant's items with its code when he showed it to you
" oh?" His smile drops as he looks at the paper, after noticing the mistake he apologizes " I'm sorry, I should have checked to make sure I got the right one, if you wait for me a few minutes I could have someone run up to my house-"
Using the same pen you wrote the notes for the student you write on the back of the sheet " well i kind of remember the prices so let me make a draft and if it's too different return here." Quickly sliding the ink around the paper you form messy words " the price for one of the green carpets was 2000 mora but it was an outdated price so let standardized it with the other merchants and leave it at…" a page displays the prices of certain items, the carpet being " 2300, we want 55 of those so 126500 mora for that. The price of the brown one is a bit more expensive so let's leave it at 2500 leaving us at 226500 total. " You finally take a deep breath giving him the note
The man looks at you, face slightly pale "uh? I- I will compare, if the price is too different i will send you the correct one" he fold the page over itself with the new contents inside before putting it in the pocket of his coat
You look at the wall clock, you just finished breakfast and already want it to be lunch and finish all your duties.
" Well then. Who is next?" You yell to the door trying to pick up the pace. Slowly as the caffeine floods your veins you feel a bit more cheery " let's see who I can help today"

Imagine getting isekai’d into 1998 Trigun and trying your hardest not to get attached to Wolfwood because you know what’s to come. Imagine that even though you tried so hard, you still ended up slowly falling in love with the preacher man. While on your television screen the show doesn’t seem to take place over such a large span of time, it does. It takes those months and months to fall in love with Wolfwood. The day after day having to remind yourself that he’s damned by the narrative. There is no way for you to deviate the ending that’s set for him. There’s no way to deny that you are in love with a dead man. Every shared glance, every moment under the stars spent laughing, every time you watch him interact with a child, every moment you fall for him, you fruitlessly remind yourself that he’s going to die. When that moment comes, when you cover your ear and cross your fingers that maybe- just maybe the narrative doesn’t have to end that way. Wolfwood doesn’t need to die. When Wolfwood leaves your side for the final time. You know it’s far too late to run from the grief that consumes you.

Chapter Three: Introducing the Hag
I am having some personal issues going on backstage, so after I post all of the published chapters I may go bye-bye for a little while :D
Tumblr media
also, your appearance stays the same as how you look rn, aside from the outfit change lol.
Also, y/n is usually not this bold, usually only when she is having a strong emotion (really happy or really mad) and it take a lot to make her that mad.
your pov:
When I finally opened my eyes, i was in a room filled with people.
'okay, so sebastian kept his promise, but where exactly am I?'
I wondered as I looked around, making eye contact with a brown haired man, who was dressed like a marriage Officiant..
'this is getting weirder by the second...'
"miss, did you not hear me" the brown haired male asked nervously.
"huh?" I responded, 'what's this guy talking about' I thought as I looked down to my outfit, it was a traditional kimono that brides wore to weddings.
"Do you, Shinyomiya y/n, of the Shinyomiya clan. Take kamisato ayato, the head of the kamisato clan, as your husband?" he asked.
I'm not sure what came over me in that moment, but I just started laughing. It wasn't rude laughter either (although in this situation it appeared to be rude).
"hah- aha no." I finally found my voice, and gave the officiant my answer, as I turned my attention to my almost husband, kamisato ayato, who up until this morning didn't exist (but then again isekai is a bitch).
the blue haired male in question was surprised, to say the least.
he thought that you both knew that it was a contract based marriage, one that would strengthen both families, and here you are laughing at the officiant, and acting as though didn't know this was happening!?
color him intrigued.
The audience was however, not as impressed. One man seemed to be pissed.
"Y/N I RAISED YOU, DO NOT DECIDE THAT TODAY IS THE DAY YOU DECIDE TO REBEL."
"so that's the dad, huh, what an ass" I whispered under my breath.
I turned my attention for the man's outburst to the officiant, "say, you can have people's last names changed right?" I asked.
The officiant looked confused but nodded
(a/n if this doesn't make sense don't ask too many questions okay?)
"can you change my last name?" I asked.
the officiant looked confused but nodded nonetheless.
"great" I clapped excitedly, "can you change it to L/n?"
He looked even more confused but complied with my wishes.
I turned my attention to the old man (hag) shouting at me.
"hey old man," the room when quiet, and the hag in question looked like he was about to burst a vein. "you DARE TO CA-"
"yes." the room was once again quiet. "listen, I renounce the family name, shizuki, was it?" my 'father' was shocked.
" wait no, that's wrong, shin.... Oh! Shinyomiya. I renounce the family name, shinyomiya!"
I corrected myself with a smile, feeling giddy that I had been given a new opportunity at life, having the first been taken so soon.
'Father' however did not share my opinion. "YOU WOULDNT DARE!" he shouted, with confidence.
I gave him a glare, "ehe, I just did!" I replied, the smile coming to my face once again. "and all of these people are my witness."
at this moment 'Father' fell back into his seat, defeated.
i looked back to the wedding officiant who handed me a sheet of paper. "here's your copy of you name change." he said, clearly shocked my the entire fiasco that had just happened in the wedding hall.
Looking at the paper, I smiled.
'I died and got reincarnated, I'm going to live life to the fullest, and not let anyone keep me down anymore!' I thought to myself.
Almost as soon as I concluded my thought a burst of green blue light appeared before me, a strange shaped object with a teal center floated before me.
"a vi- vision!? !?" I exclaimed quietly. "h-how?!"
I put my other hand out, to allow the vision to float down into my hand.
I'm not sure how long I stayed like that, but It gave me a chance to remember something that I needed to do.
I looked up from my vision, to face the man I almost married.
'god this is so embarrassing'
"Listen, I'm really sorry about all of this, none of this was your fault, the blame falls directly on me. anyways, I gotta go. daddy dearest looks like he's about to skin me alive, later!" I said, rushing the last part, as I soon began to run out of the wedding hall.
before I got all the way out I heard my 'father' shout some sort of insult, so I threw a layer of the wedding outfit at him, I unfortunately missed is reaction because I was trying to get out, but i'm willing to bet it was priceless.
Ayato's Pov:
"hah, what a strange woman, I think I would have actually enjoyed a marriage with such a woman"
I said under my breath, amused by the whole situation.
