He totally did the textbook 'us versus them, you're all Poor and Uneducated Bums' thing

Hi can I please request hcs for yandere poly natsu and Lucy sharing a darling please (female reader if possible💗)
if you want to give her magic maybe magic that’s similar to star dress (made up magic called star script where reader writes the zodiac sign in thin air and reader outfits changes to suit that zodiac sign example : Draco reader gains a dragon appearance from wings to scales while Aquarius could give her water magic to having fins like a mermaid)
hope that makes sense lol , if it’s to confusing you can just give celestial magic I don’t mind 💗
Tw: Yandere themes, obsession, possessive behavior, delusional behavior, clinginess, touchiness, stalking, jealousy
Sharing a s/o
Tumblr media
🔥🗝️Natsu and Lucy are as good as you can get when it comes to a poly relationship in Fairy Tail because not only have they a really strong bond and are willing to share with each other without any huge arguments following but they also see perfectly eye to eye with each other which means that there’s no one being superior to the other nor is one intimidated or scared of the other one. They both share some common traits such as their obsessive tendencies and their clinginess and no one of them is very possessive. If I had to choose one, I’d say Natsu has more potential to be possessive but such a side doesn’t really emerge, especially not since Lucy is the one he is sharing with. Lucy is definitely the one who is chiding Natsu more often though because whilst both of them are certainly on the delusional side, Lucy is still the one who has the better grasp of a thing called common sense. She doesn’t want Natsu to stalk you, especially not via Happy, and there’s Natsu’s daily behavior of just inviting himself over inside your house without knocking. Especially if you’re currently dressing up or taking a bath can Lucy utterly sympathize.
🔥🗝️Both of them can spend a vast amount of time together with you without growing tired of each other nor more possessive over you. Both are quite outgoing and extroverted, especially Natsu, so there’s always something entertaining happening. Obviously a lot of time is spend in their guild with all their other friends and it is probably around his rivals like Gray or Gajeel that Natsu is the tiniest bit more prone to acting a bit more possessive around you. Lucy is quite quick to put him back to his senses though as she always reminds him that he better not make you uncomfortable or drag you into something just because of his reckless and rowdy behavior that he often shows to others. She knows that Natsu would never actually get you into danger because he loves you too much but he is just acting like a little child when he is around certain people who he just constantly argues with as presumably one way to show his friendship. If Natsu still ends up quarreling with people in his guild in their typical fashion, he sees it through that Lucy makes sure you don’t get involved. Not like he has to tell her that for her to do it.
🔥🗝️Private time with you still happens and in that case the time with Lucy is much more relaxing. She’s just taking a bath with you, dresses up in comfy pajamas with you and is having a girls evening with you. There are occasional times where she catches Natsu and Happy trying to sneak in her house because the poor boy hates being excluded but usually one short conversation is enough for Lucy to express her slightly annoyed emotions due to Natsu’s attempted intrusion before the pink-haired man turns back with the biggest pout on his face. He respects Lucy’s wish though because she always asks him beforehand when she plans to spend an evening alone with you and since he knows that she will allow it him just as much when he’s the one asking her, he has never declined. He’ll just have to endure it until the next day. Then he really is at the doorsteps as early as possible or by chance already inside the house and in a very clingy mood because he didn’t see you for hours. Natsu’s private time with you consists mostly of being outside with you whilst exploring or showing you something, eating or sleeping.
🔥🗝️Both of them are huge on public affection and neither is shy of showing it. It’s constant handholding, cuddles, hugs, kisses or piggybacks. Lucy likes wearing matching bracelets, necklaces and clothes too and she definitely has a lot of that stuff whilst Natsu is mainly focused on the physical affection and he is a bit more extreme with it than Lucy is. He loves piggybacks and tends to get quite excited when he senses that you like it too which has led him a couple of times to sprinting through the streets with Lucy desperately dashing after the two of you to catch up. Considering the fact that he has a sensitive nose due to being a Dragon Slayer, scenting is also a thing. He just enjoys smelling himself on you and considering how often he just can’t resist squashing you in between his arms in a hug, you smell a lot of him. It’s due to his enhanced smelling that he is quick to question you though as soon as you reek overly of something that isn’t his nor Lucy’s smell. On the positive side though, as long as he is there you don’t have to fear getting lost.
🔥🗝️The poor man is even powering through his motion sickness when you want to travel somewhere via train or ship. He’s always sitting there looking miserable though, his face changing from pale to green and back to pale whilst slumping down next to you. He can’t deny that he hasn’t used his sick position whilst on a moving vehicle to get you to coddle him a tad bit more. Lucy is either scolding him for it or she decides to let him have it since she understands that he’s making a small sacrifice to make you happy. If he looks like he’s about to throw up though, she will swiftly separate you two. Both aren’t insanely jealous but if one of more prone to it though, it’s definitely Natsu. He isn’t too afraid to pick a little brawl with someone if they provoke him enough so it’s up to Lucy and you to prevent him from doing so. Overall both are never a serious danger to anyone unless someone has bad intentions in which case both will become very defensive and will use their magic to attack if the situation escalates.
🔥🗝️If their s/o really has Star Script Magic, I feel like Lucy and her will be very engaged in talking about it since it is so similar to Lucy’s Star Dress abilities and even see if they are able to help each other to improve their abilities. Natsu is feeling a little bit left out whenever both of you talk about it since he has Fire Magic and can’t provide anything more useful than Lucy can but for the sake of being part of the conversation, he’s trying to butt in anyways. The pink-haired man is still your biggest hype-man though whenever you use your Star Script Magic and he’s bragging about it to everybody. As soon as someone says something bad about it or you in general though, he’s all ready to throw hands. Lucy and you are most likely training a lot together since both of your abilities are so similar and I can see the zodiac signs even giving you tips on your individual forms and how to improve them. Your relationship with the zodiac signs is definitely a good one too because Lucy sees them as her friends so she has already introduced you to each one of them a long time ago.

Some Vain Attempt At Giving Every Member of Class 1-A (plus one more) a 'Nemesis' Pt. 2 of 3 - MLA Edition
The second edition of my posts in my, as you can see, vain attempt to give every person in Class 1-A (plus, one more) a Nemesis/Rival Villain that's League-affiliated!! First one can be read here!
In this rendtion, it's five of the 'upper echelon' of Class A paired with the five Executives of the Meta Liberation Army! Bit more in depth when it comes to these guys, so hope it becomes a nice read for you all!
Trumpet
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For this one, I raise you Koda. Narrative wise, Koda and Trumpet serve as not really frontline or distance fighters, but ones best at support using their voices to command others to do their bidding. Like most on this list, it comes down to how they use their powers and their personality themselves.
For Koda’s arc, its pretty much just an enhancement of the small one he gets in the main story, which is overcoming his shyness to become bolder. If I had to make a small adjustment, I’d probably have this impetus for being a Hero, being reassured and helped by a Pro Hero like how Jiro helped him back in the Final Exam arms. Probably Hound Dog, who could also be like a mentor to Koda that helps him to have more confidence in himself (and leans into UA having a good guidance counselor). Honestly, from there, probably have him be even more of a friend to Jiro, since I really think they could have had an even deeper bond than before.
As for Trumpet, how I would focus on it has to do with why he joined the MLA in the first place. He would be a Shinso situation, someone who had good intentions, but society distrusted him. In his case, he was a politician trying to operate genuine noble reforms, but when people found out about his Incite quirk, his popularity fell due to fear of him essentially ‘forcing’ people to join him - even though he never used his Quirk at all. Re-Destro, though, sympathized with him and basically offered an extended hand. “If the world rejects you just because of your ability, why not join us, embrace your power instead of rejecting it and make a new world that would accept it.” Re-Destro became his light and with the MLA’s help, formed the Hearts and Minds Party to become the political juggernaut he is in today. Though, its become clear what principles he did have was discarded for supporting Re-Destro’s liberation ideology, becoming a bit of a hypocrite and letting his new role as apart of RD’s quartet go to his head.
In this timeline, this is a Trumpet who escaped the Villa raid and was a mess (in this timeline Re-Destro was beaten at the Villa while his posse escaped). He lost the light of his life and had to organize a group of stragglers, while coming to grips with the fact he lost all the progress he worked up to until now in one day. But…perhaps he can salvage it? Spinner…how he hated that man with his weak Quirk. Who nearly killed him!!! But, he’s a light himself. Using his Incite Quirk, Trumpet fastens himself a sympathizer to the Heteromorphic cause - anything that allows him to free Re-Destro and have his Liberation dream come true. Alongside Spinner and Neptune (...oh, and the Advisors are there too~), they charge to Central Hospital to take back Kurogiri, with his Quirk amplifying the mob’s power and dropping their ability to reason. Having them still fight even when hurt by the police or when its clear they need to pull back to stop their injuries from being life threatening.
I feel like there could be a cool introspection with how both use others to obtain results, with Trumpet even pointing that out between them if they ever were to meet and even applaud Koda for it. After all, when it comes to the greater good, aren’t sacrifices of one’s soldiers needed to gain victory? But the deciding factor that would put Koda in the right and eventual victory over Trumpet is his empathy - while he asks for help, he tries his hardest to not get his animals hurt and factors that in. In short, valuing tactical, beneficial to all uses. However, Trumpet has no true care for those that work for him, at least those that aren’t apart of his inner circle/Re-Destro. So how does this come to play? During Koda’s confrontation of Trumpet, he’s pinned down and mic mask taken away, as well as mouth shut. But when his Quirk awakening happens, it allows his true feelings to still wash over nearby animals - to go after whose really at fault. Instead of attacking the crowd, people who just want their grievance heard, they all converge onto Trumpet. Or rather, Trumpet’s mask and mic, taking it away from him. Similar to Mic, Trumpet, vulnerable and fully afraid of the hoard, passes out. Thus, negating his Quirk and allowing the mob to properly reason if what they're doing is right without being riled up. Leading to a case where some of the mob do still follow Spinner, some are staying back conflicted and some are very upset at the PLF side of things pushing them this far.
True, when it comes to war, there’s hardly a case where both sides don’t come out without losing some people. But one should still have consideration for even your ‘lower’ allies no matter what and work to ensure they are used in the best possible way. That’s what separates a good tactician from an awful one. Something Trumpet will stand to learn as he reunites with Re-Destro in prison. At least happy with his light once again.
Curious
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For Curious’ rival, Mina’s up! Now, off the bat you can already recognize a pretty blatant reason for such a situation given their designs. Both have differently colored skin with dark eyes, resembling more of an alien than anything and their personalities are also fairly similar: both are spunky extroverts that can’t help but get in the thick of things with a curiosity for their peers. Heck if you didn’t know any better, you could probably mistake Curious as being Mina’s big sister, mother or aunt in a way!
But what is going to bring these two together for this line-up? Well, the theme I’m setting up for them is grievance of justice within the system. What we know of Mina is that she did have the heroic spirit to intervene and save way back in middle school, such as saving a kid (and even reforming some bullies) or getting in the way of Gigantomachia by lying to him to save two other peers as well. It’s admirable and I want to make that more apart from her character. Perhaps her backstory here that led to her trying to be a Hero was learning early on that she had to take a stand, if not for herself than for others, since people tried to bully her and her friends for looking different or having ‘troublesome Quirks’ (think about it. It's Acid as a Quirk, that probably is going to be a bit of a stigma growing up). Wanting to be someone people can look up to, that can tackle conflict and bring people together head-on, she sought to do so as a Pro Hero.
As a ‘meddlesome Hero’ her journey in UA, could have her struggle with dealing with just how much of the systems wants to control that spirit of hers and discourage her sense of justice into being their standard. From having her code name be denied for a more marketable Pinky, to possibly dealing with Yoroi Musha who interferes with her actually talking down a Villain (who was going to surrender) by knocking them out instead. Trying to instill in her that it is not a hero duty to ‘care for the fallen’ but for the ‘interest of the public’. You can imagine the complicated and hurt feelings she gets when Yoroi decides to retire because of his image, and yelling at him for being so awful.
As for her relationship with Midnight, perhaps the teacher sees herself in Mina, being so gungho and expressive about justice in her own way, but having to deal with a system that wants its reputation maintained first (such as the debacle with her first Hero outfit). As such, she could apologize for the name issue before and genuinely try to mentor Mina figuring out ways to both be herself while not letting the current institution get her down. Heck, even find ways to get around the system like she did! It could make losing Midnight hurt that much more later on, as she could genuinely have been considered Mina’s ‘All Might’ for a while.
As for Curious, the reason she joined the MLA has to do with her own justice having her take on the path of an investigative journalist. During this time, she uncovers many scandals of Pro Heroes: from Heroes causing accidents that cost people their lives to heroes instigating people into fights and making them out to be Villains. Not to mention some shady dealings of the HSPC, leads of embezzlement, and corruption to various industries throughout Japan, even the government. But, as you can imagine, trying to expose them is no simple feat. Everytime she tries, pressure from the HSPC has her works censored and stories rejected. Eventually to the point, she is even, even threatened with blacklisting to get her compliance. In distress, and wanting to do more, its her interview with Re-Destro that not only reignites her passion for her work, but instead channels it to working it towards the MLA’s favor as his inspires her curiosity to run rampant for the truth. Well, her truth now! If Hero Society wants to control the narrative as they feel fit, why shouldn’t she and her new comrades seek to try to do some story control as well?
Curious, naturally, sees herself in Mina when she confronts her. Perhaps she hitches a ride on Gigantomachia for the story of a lifetime and, together with Compress, is able to fend off Heroes from getting ontop of Machia. It’s her landmine, combined with Compress’ debris, that results in Midnight being so beat up that she gets finished off by Skully (Dabi’s 2nd Adviser) and her notice of Mina’s hesitation when facing Machia has her be the subject of interest when her group faces off against the Junga Ruins Team. She is able to see that same spark in Mina, one who wants to do more and is stifled. She’s getting under her skin when pointing out her fear of Gigantomachia, and asking if Mina ever considered her hesitation might’ve cost people their lives because she didn’t put her vial in at that one moment. How nervous she must feel having the responsibility of the giant being released on her shoulders. Can she handle it? Perhaps its best if she gives up, after all if she’s anything like her than the ruin of a Society run by that horrible HSPC and its values allows her to do what she wants, right? She’s now in full control of the story - her life that she wants!
For Mina, she does note that Curious is right. She is free from how HSPC and Hero Society wants her to conform to…and its with that freedom she’ll settle things her way! With her dancing skills, she nimbly avoid Curious’ mines and melts her support weapon. All before quickly striking her down before she goes on to handle Gigantomachia, Skully and the Sludge Villain - which taxes a lot out of her. But before she passes out, she returns to a beaten Curious...and hugs her. Since she truly knows how it feels to be under pressure from corrupt people, and is genuinely sorry that happened to Curious. In an epilogue, while Curious is imprisoned, her original stories on the cases of corruption within the HSPC has finally come to light with many offenders and victims finally getting justice in the world. Something that has a certain former reporter giddy in excitement~
Skeptic - Kaminari
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A brain versus brawn dynamic? Exactly - though there another aspect in play here too! Kaminari and Skeptic are best known as being silly, yet dangerous, cornerstones of their group. People that are very to forget that they are dangerous when not making you laugh from their wit or comedic antics.
When it comes to Kaminari - whose role in Class A is pretty much the embodiment of a confident, goofy, teen - his arc would have to be more towards his growth concerning him being wiser in combat with such an all or nothing power. One of the early worldbuilding comments that weren’t elaborated much was how Elec types kind of have it easy when it comes to their power since its in such high demand. Perhaps Kaminari could be a staunch believer in the ‘Electric Dream’, not to say he’s a Quirk supremacist, but rather in that he thinks he doesn’t have to improve or grow much as a Hero since he has such a strong, well favored power. Which is a pretty funny mentality to have when his powers have a cognitive drawback + and no real way to control it to avoid hitting allies (least yet). He’s pretty much coasting and kinda taking things for granted, because (even when attacked by villains or in the SF arc), he still ends up ok or getting his beliefs validated in the form of so many Hero offers. Something that ends up irritating his friends in Momo and Jiro at times (the three of them I kinda want to make their own, even closer, trio).
So what changes? I think the change is the Training Camp arc in this, as he experiences actual survivor’s guilt for what happened. Jiro was knocked out and poisoned by Mustard, Momo injured by a Nomu, and one of his friends was kidnapped - and he couldn’t be there to help. All because he didn’t take his training seriously enough to pass his exam. Thus, this marks the start of him legitimately trying to be smarter with how he uses his Quirk and the Shooter method he gains later on, as well as wiser in terms of using his brain for more tactical methods in general.
Skeptic’s role here is to be the inverse of Kaminari. He’s cocky in relation to his IT talent and brain, instead of his Quirk. Basically, for why he joined the MLA, I want to take his allegiance as being as a result of Re-Destro being the one that properly recognized his skills and pushed for Skeptic to be apart of the board of Feel Good Inc. We know Skeptic had an issue with said board for being too old fashioned during the Second War, so I think it's a good angle of his origins for villainy being feeling ignored or pushed to the side in spite of his talents and new ideas, for people that just want to play it safe or overstepping their seniority (which is likely a mix of that and due to his attitude) It feels natural that he ends up falling in with someone who gives him the time of day. Though, that being said, its clear RD recruiting him into his upper circle has made Skeptic’s ego worse and not really prepared him for life in the MLA beyond his role. He thinks that he just needs to keep doing the same thing he's always been doing for RD, and doesn’t really bother improving much of his Quirk, even if he’s taking the bare minimum to put it into action, and certainly isn’t really considering he isn’t as infallible as he thinks he is. As such, he doesn’t take failure well and when he does get blindsided (by La Brava or Heroes) flies into utter panic. His arc leading into the Second War is believing that his mistake that cost him the man who saw potential in him, was not taking the MLA training seriously, meaning he couldn’t protect his boss well…so he seeks to correct it.
During the Second War, when Skeptic is hacked by La Brava, who comes to his area isn’t just Ketsubutsu and Hound Dog, but (in this version), Kaminari too. The latter of which has disabled his computers further. But, Skeptic isn’t done yet - with his Quirk he’d made even stronger, more resilient golems to attack the Heroes to hold them off until he gets his machines up and running. He’s learned from the First War and knows how debilitating Kaminari’s shocks are so made sure that, if he ever runs into Kaminari again, his creations can’t be neutralized so easily and makes doubly sure they protect him from any shocks. Thus, Team Kaminari is put on the back foot trying to get to him, with Kaminari in particular struggling to defeat them. At the last moment, he’s pinned down and about to be killed, when he fires a disc, missing Skeptic. Skeptic, thinking he flubbed his last move, gloats over his assured victory, but that’s when Kaminari reveals his last gambit: he deliberately shot it away from Skeptic… because his true target was his computer. With all of his energy, he channels it into one final shot that destroys the computer trying to make UA drop and makes it explode. Something that has the nice effect of knocking out Skeptic as well!
Both were people that were humbled for their ego during their careers in heroism and villainy, seeking to correct such mistakes that cost them so much. But, what both differ is the lengths in which they correct their errors. Skeptic only sees the physical side of his mistakes, not realizing his arrogance was the poison that led to everything going wrong for the PLF in the first place. As for Kaminari, realized the limitations of his Quirk and his own attitude, it was by working on both that he was able to get the win needed. As such Skeptic now learns such a lesson in confinement, at least using his stay in prison to lecture other IT start-ups on what not to do to wind up in his shoes/be successful (hey, he is good at his job, might as well give him some chance at still have some ways of positively affecting society~)
Geten
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next are the vice leaders of the MLA and Team Momo sides of things, those who hold the closest bond with their leader. It’s Kyoka Jiro against Geten, fighting for the sake of their closest friend-girlfriend/father figure. For their theming, it comes down to forging your own path beyond family legacy while still being just to yourself and your companions.
For Jiro, one of the things that was interesting (and never really developed on because fuck us) was that she desired to be a hero, in spite of her love of music and probably family expectations she’ll go down that path too. I want to make that her arc. Her parents are famous in the music biz, and while they were supportive of their daughter, Jiro constantly had to deal with people (from their fans or coworkers) expecting and even kinda pushing for her to continue where her parents left off. Thus, she ends up somewhat pushing aside her own musical interests in favor of proving she’s serious about Hero career, and  could have her be one of the snarkier or even jerkish of Class A at first, since its her way of trying to show off that she’s not someone joking about with her path. Or why she gets prickly when Kaminari or, seemingly, Momo try to coast or don’t understand how much effort is put into something.
Her arc, at its strongest in the Cultural Festival, is learning she can enjoy her own interests and still prove she’s a true-blue hero as well. She can march to her own tempo without having to prove that to anyone. I also imagine during this time as she bonds with Momo, she also realizes that she doesn’t have the full scope of what she’s been snarking at others for, in this case Momo having quite the ‘family’ being so negative at her back, and strives to be someone that can help others get their own ‘tempo’ as well without pressure from people to be anything other than themselves. As a side note, for what inspires her to be a Hero, perhaps its seeing Gang Orca, someone with a ‘rocking’ appearance and similar sound Quirk, saving the day inspires her to do the same and kinda be like him.
Her contrast is with Geten - someone who lives and breathes the dogma of his MLA family after separating from the Himura clan. On the surface, he’s going through something similar to Jiro here - basically someone choosing their own path in life instead of what their family does. He, too, is someone that’s determined to show their worth towards their new path in life, in his case being an MLA executive, by constantly training his Quirk off as a warrior. That said, like Jiro, its clear some effects of his old life stuck with him. In this case, the elitist aspect that has manifested in believing someone’s worth is tied to their Quirk’s power. In this storyline, I imagine Geten was recruited into the MLA fold at a young age after the Himura’s scattered, perhaps his own family was hit hardest by the separation and became dirt poor. So when Re-Destro and him crossed paths, it was just a major step up from his old life (with his own parents agreeing to part with Geten in exchange for better living conditions, kinda like Hawks’ mom). In addition, I imagine that with Re-Destro, Geten was probably aware of RD being, deep down, not as happy with the MLA than how he acted. But, instead of encouraging RD to break away for his own path or even think that's a possibility, believes that by being the perfect warrior and fulfilling the MLA’s dream he can make a world where RD is free to never have to worry about that pressure again. Hence him obsessively trying to get stronger for RD’s sake, much to the decay of his social, educational and even familial life at times (like to imagine RD is somewhat blaming himself for bringing Geten into the fold and turning him out like this)
Concerning Dabi, in this I imagine that, after hearing Geten is a Himura, Dabi gets the idea to include Geten in the Dabi expose video. Considering it a worthwhile venture in taking down Hero Society, Geten agrees and pretty much airs the Himura clan’s dirty laundry and past to really help sell the idea of a corrupt Hero going to a corrupt elitist family to start one of his own. Relationship wise, while I doubt Dabi and Geten would be friends, knowing both are technically family and are on the same side has made them more like vitriolic brothers than true hatred to each other.
In the First War, Jiro (who is overhearing a certain leader v leader) fight, hears Re-Destro venting about how Shigaraki needs to be the one to bring liberation and how RD can’t be the one to take the reigns again. Something that sticks with her when facing Geten in the Second War after he’s transported to Gunga by Kurogiri. Like the other MLA Executives, he escaped the battlefield last time, but was devastated after hearing RD’s capture. Angry over his father figure’s defeat, he joins on the fight to slaughter every Hero there - though ends up transported to Kamino Ward to fight off Heroes with the High End and Dabi. He would briefly assist Dabi with Shoto before Dabi insists on finishing things himself.
The duo hitch a ride on the Kurogiri taxi to Gunga, reigning down on the battlefield with fire and ice, but Geten ends up being separated from Dabi by Jiro as Endeavor and his son move away to fight. Geten proclaims he’s fighting for the future of Re-Destro, though it's here that Jiro reveals Re-Destro’s true feelings on the matter. Asking if Geten really thinks what he was doing was best for RD, and if he ever really considered if seeing the MLA succeeding would have really gotten his leader the relief he wanted.  Something that she gets through to him with a version of her amplifier jacks - sending off waves of her own sincere heart (alongside, you know, just knocking Geten’s eardrums for a loop XD). Disoriented with the truth and ears thoroughly rattled, Geten’s is unable to properly fight back with his ice, and is knocked out when Jiro delivers another blast of the truth to Geten: that the liberation RD needed was a life away from what he was born into. Something that has Geten in tears, regretting not realizing it sooner as he passes out.
Both were two people that were trying to take a path beyond what their family line had in store, and overcompensated with said paths. However, while Jiro was able to work through best of both worlds healthily in the end, and learn to see the troubles in what others were going through (and guide them to their best path), Geten took the extremes of both sides, leading him blind to the truth of his father as Apocrypha. As Geten is reunited with RD, he’ll have a chance to rekindle a new relationship with him, without the weight of the MLA souring things.
Re-Destro
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lastly, it’s leader of the Meta Liberation Army versus, arguably, the true leader of the First Years of UA. It’s Re-Destro against Momo Yaoyorozu! As you can probably guess, what both of them have for their theme is that of familial pressure to conform and learning that that the life they truly need is one beyond the toxic life they were raised in.
For Momo’s arc, I want to have her arc concern both her established anxiety issues and also flesh out the Yaoyorozu family as a whole since I feel It's something that could have really been worked out upon in-canon as a part of her character. In this, the reason Momo is trying to be a good Pro Hero has to do with a lot about proving herself against the family business. In this timeline, the Yaoyorozu Family isn’t…the cleanest business. Or at least, it had a history that was based on a greyer path. Since the advent of Quirks, the Yaoyorzu clan made a killing as arms dealers, distributing weapons and items for all sides of the chaos brewed by Quirks. Anti-Hetormorphic rioters? Vigilantes trying to make a difference? Dictators hoping to crackdown on dissidents? Just the average joe trying to defend themselves? They cared only for profit and sold to anyone seeking their wares, growing much in the way of influence.
As time passed, their business became, on the surface, more legitimate as they got in league with the reformed government and began operating seemingly clean business in the support industry. But that was just a ruse, in truth, even the modern day clan still had major ties to the black market and the underworld. Many villains and brokers got their wares from third parties of third parties who sell the clans goods in their stead. Some including Shie Hassakai, the League and escpeially AFO throughout his years.
As the sole heiress to the Yaoyoruzu fortune, Momo was expected to walk down that path…but even as a kid she didn't fully agree with it. What they were doing was bad, right? But also allowed? How many people got hurt or killed because her family gave out items to the wrong people? Wasn’t this bad? She was entirely conflicted and wondered what she should even do. Eventually, she was inspired by the acts of heroes she saw, those not involved in the clans business, but those like All Might or Majestic, who were trying their damndest to clear out all wrong in the world, even long-established corrupt organizations like the yakuza. Heroes can do this sort of thing, so she decides to become one. One that can bring about change in rotten organizations and life!
As such, an inspired Momo opted into the Hero course instead of business or tech that her parents expected. Though on that note, they weren't taking even her Hero career seriously, chalking up to youthful exploration, with full thought that Momo will give it up to take over the business once she ends her studies. A silly hobby to pass the time. Momo didn’t see it that way, and so developed a perfectionist, tactical, if a bit snobbish mindset that we see earlier in the series.
You can also imagine that her failing in the Sports Festival hurts even harder now. Her chance to prove herself to her folks had her defeated without much effort, and likely had her mocked by her parents for it. I imagine they’d be the sort to be passive-aggressive or give backhanded compliments in front of company, something Jiro and Kaminari, to an extent, could be exposed to as she develops her friendship with Momo, and becomes the start of her trying to get Momo to stay on her path of going away from her clan’s expectations.
What happens that breaks the camel’s back is the Forest Invasion Arc. After Momo is injured and before she helped out her friends in the Bakugo Retrieval mission, she gains word during this time that she is to drop out of UA. No because her parents give a shit about her, mind you, but because they feel that between her failure in the Festival to being among the hurt in the FT arc, she is just wasting her talent and brain on a ‘childish endeavor’. It’s this time that gets Momo, who hears this during a meeting with AM, Midnight, Jiro (who snuck into the manor to tell her folks to not go through with the removal) and she just snaps and tell her parents off. That she declares she wants nothing to do with them and their awful company, and gladly disowning herself.  In exchange, she won’t reveal the truth of her clan in front of a pissed off AM, Midnight and Jiro. Bitterly, her parents accept…and Momo’s life in the family is over. At least, so it seems. Once in the dorms, she does weep and reveal the life she’s been living in private to Jiro, Kaminari and Midnight, and how guilty she feels just being apart of such a misaligned group. But is reassured knowing she has a place with her friends.
This marks her fully getting into her mature confidence arc, with her being an anchor that can relate to the difficulty Todoroki is facing given her own issues with her family and certainly, later down the line, when it comes to Aoyama’s parents getting him stuck as AFO’s mole. It also marks her gradually finding her own style and interests beyond what her family pushed on her - her true freedom that she can express to those actually closest to her. This is what also gets her to be fully onboard more with being a legitimately good leader to the first years as much as she could. To be something her family never was!
Also, on a side note, I also think it’d be cool if Midnight also became a mentor/Mom figure for Momo, like Mina. Considering she sees potential in Momo becoming a stellar leader that can ‘dominate’ the opposition and finding kinship in both essentially having similar costume styles for practical reasons (well, in Midnight’s cases it’s more like 80/20 for her reasons xD) and fighting styles that revolve on heavy reliance on what they can make. With Momo’s self-esteem issues showing themselves, Midnight seeks to raise the girl’s confidence and teaches her on how to handle herself if someone manages to bypass her Quirk, and use it for quick neutralization before a scuffle can really occur (especially since Momo can create her own gas products). As for Majestic, he aids her further in getting her to open up her creativity, reminding her to always keep ‘tricks up her sleeves’ in case of unexpected events and that deception can often prove to be far more useful than brawn.
Now, for Re-Destro! Honestly, as the only real MLA executive that the story gives both backstory and depth, his foundation is a lot more solid compared to the others and doesn’t really need much altering, I feel. Similar to Momo now, he’s someone who was raised and groomed in an environment that, deep down, he doesn’t quite agree with. But, unlike Momo, he’s someone that couldn’t escape that pressure, especially given how society left the state of their family following Destro’s demise and the country’s strict grip on Quirk usage. Unlike Momo, he is someone that basically resigns himself to being within the family, and embracing the liberation message…because that’s all he feels he can do. That he just exists to be an extension of Destro, and not his own person. Not realizing the effect his actual compassion had on his four Executives, who he reached out all on his own.  He wasn’t even on business when he met those four, it was by chance and he just wanted to help them out. Unaware that what got him his close circle wasn’t being Re-Destro, but Rikiya.
If I did have to make a further change, to further tie a link between RD And the Yaoyorozu clan, I’d have RD be business partners with the Yaoyoruzu’s. Both exchanging support and weapon ideas with each other. The Yaoyoruzu’s are aware of RD’s link to the MLA and see their future attempts for societal reform, in all its destructiveness, as perfect way to gain money and are all too willing to support him…though with one new caveat as RD aligns himself with Shigaraki, who goes to get upgraded. The current Heads of the Yaoyorozu clan insist that, if Re-Destro sees Momo whenever he goes about his Liberation crusade, that he ‘disciplines’ her into becoming such a ‘good boy’ like himself. Induct her into the Army, or simply just 'scare her a bit'. Make her know 'her place'.
Something that has a chance to happen during the First War, after Machia awakens. His rampage allows RD, his Executives and numerous soldiers to escape the Villa and runaway, with RD following closely behind trying to catch up to Machia. Though once he witnesses the giant fall due to Momo’s trap, becomes livid and seeks to aid him. Momo, seeing RD coming their way, and knowing if he arrives the others efforts into getting the vial into Machi’s mouth will certainly fail, rushes out to intercept RD. Stressed out to the max, its a brutal fight that has Momo fighting to stay ahead from RD’s swings by obscuring his vision with ‘smoke bombs’ from her matryoshka dolls. RD, remembering the words from the Yaoyorozu Heads, relays this to Momo. He’s bitter, thinking she has the audacity to do what he could not. That she could just up and leave her legacy behind?!  Why?! What gives her the right to do that?! How could she do that?! Even he fights to free Machia - to ensure he never has to be Commander of the MLA/PLF again - he still can’t turn his back on what he was raised for.
In response? Momo simply replies she just couldn’t find a way to live with herself anymore if she didn’t at least try. Now RD’s the one rattled, but tried to push her away after getting a solid hit in…and it happens. He collapses to the ground, groggy and sleepy. Huh? As it turns out, what Momo was throwing wasn’t smoke bombs, but rather sleeping gas that she made during her time under Midnight and Majestic - a combo owed from her beloved mentors! She merely made it seem like just average smoke and fought to ensure RD would be deeply inhaling it. The dolls aren’t enough to stop Machia, hence her making the bigger vials, but Momo knows about RD’s Quirk from the Villain Files the Heroes got before the mission, so she’s able to use that knowledge to take him down. As RD begins to black out, he’s sobbing, not of regret for defeat - but in pride. She’s truly liberated, huh? Why…why couldn’t he have that strength like her? Relating to him, Momo shouts that he always can. No matter how much he falls, he can still do something to be free for himself!! No one has to be shackled to what others force upon them.
Something that he takes to heart as he is arrested. While he refuses to give up the core circle and the remaining free PLF, he does testify to the Heroes about the shady dealings the PLF had with heads of various organizations and government officials. Something that gets them arrested, including the Heads of the Yaoyorozu Clan, once the shelter plan goes underway. Putting an end to the corruption of a clan with generations of blood on their hands. As a bonus for Re-Destro, when all is said and done, he's able to at least reunite and talk to occasionally with the Executives - no, his friends - that he made once more. Free at last.
-
And that's it for this section!
I actually had a bit of a difficult time concerning who should be paired with Re-Destro, Geten (especially fucking Geten) and Skeptic. I wanted these three to have satisfying Class A students to go against, but trying to find common ground for these guys (and not ruin one for the remaining League) was tough.
Originally, Kaminari and Jiro were swapped, with the former taking on Geten and Skeptic for the latter. Elemental against tech support, but I found that too 'ehhh' and tried to figure out if I could switch them, and having it still be meaningful, which I think I suceeded.
Re-Destro was a majro choice between Momo, Ida and even Tokoyami at one point. But, ultimately, Momo and her own dealings with her rich family had more potential that I feel she should take down Re-Destro.
With that said, hope you loved the read!

Hi Kait! How have you been? I don't know if you remember me, but I'm the same anon who came up with the idea of Ray's Assistant in a relationship with the SE System.
Your response put a huge smile on my face and made me lost in daydreams, thousands of scenarios came to my mind and I needed to write them down—Being honest, I've considered making a fanfic about it, but secondly I haven't played Ray's Route, so I don't entirely trust my characterization of him and Suit, and firstly, well, SE Ray and Grave are pretty much your OCs and I wouldn't feel right doing it without consulting you first.
However, I didn't come here to talk about it but about the Secrets Endings-
You see, I'm relatively new to the Mystic Messenger fandom. I heard about the game when I was younger, but since I didn't have the means to play it back then, I quickly forgot about it, and it wasn't until earlier this year that I rediscovered it.
When something catches my attention, the first thing I do is get as much information about it as I can, not caring about spoilers in the case of series and video games. So, putting Mystic Messenger in the tumblr search engine I found your blog and, well... I love character analyzes—exploring their minds, find the reason (or at least try to understand) why they are the why they are and why they do what they do helps me to connect with the characters, discovering both good and bad traits of mine in their ways of being, and your analyzes of Saeran are so amazing that I ended up falling in love with him and your writing!
And I just completed the Secret Endings, which only served to position Unknown and SE Saeran in first place in my top favorite characters.
I have so many things to say, not only about him, about V and Saeyoung as well.
V is someone I have mixed feelings for—As character, he's excellent, as person, I want to slap him. I don't hate him, I can sympathize with him in certain ways and I cried because of it on more than one occasion during the first Secret Ending, I still don't like him though.
He upsets me, both with what he says and what he doesn't.
He feels responsible for Rika's actions, I get it, but how does he not realize the damage his "I'll take all the blame and consequences on my own" mentality causes? Yoosung, Jumin, Saeyoung, and Saeran—He hurts them all with his silence.
Despite everything, I have to admit that his death left me with a strange void. Look, during the ENTIRE game I accumulated this distrust and anger towards him, to which pity was added thanks to the SE.
I have thousands of questions, a lot of criticism, the desire to understand his motivations, and the little, stupid hope that maybe, just maybe, he can redeem himself-
But none of that matters because the bastard is dead.
I can't interrogate him, I can't yell and hit him, I can't give him a second chance because he's dead—Saeran killed him, and there's a little voice in my head telling me he deserved it.
He deserved it, for fostering in Rika the thought that her mental instability was 'beautiful'.
He deserved it, for not going to Jumin and telling him what was happening, even knowing that that man would move heaven and earth for his friends' well-being.
He deserved it, for not let know Saeyoung about the kidnapping of his twin.
He deserved it, for continuing to defend Rika even when she brainwashed hundreds, maybe thousands of people, locking up Saeyoung, Vanderwood, and MC, and destroy the sweet child she promised to care for.
He deserved it, so why did I shed my tears for him?
I could sit on my bed and think about it until I find an answer, but I can't waste my time like that when Saeran is here—Finally, he's here. He's alive, he's furious, he's depressed, he's confused, and I want to hug him and reassure him that everything will be okay, but I know it's not that easy.
...Is this how Saeyoung feels during all of this? Does he also feel this anger, this inexplicable sadness, this dissatisfaction, this feeling of relief?
Saeyoung needs a hug too. And I want to cuddle with him, caress his hair, kiss his forehead, let him know that he has my full support and that one day we will be happy, the three of us. But at some point my affection for him became something brotherly, and yes, I want him to love and be loved, to have his wedding on the space station, just not with me, not anymore.
I can relate to him on a personal level in this situation—I also have a sister with poor mental health, and she may not be at Saeran's level of instability, but she still has zero self-esteem and suicidal thoughts, and having someone you love in such condition is not easy.
Seeing Saeyoung begging Saeran not to leave him, that he's here for him, that they'll get through this together hit too close to home. But Saeran's refusal to listen to him, although understandable, was killing me, because just thinking about my sister reacting like that to me...
Some of the things Saeyoung said, however, made me uncomfortable.
They made me uncomfortable because they're exactly the kind of things I keep to myself knowing they might sound selfish to my sister's ears. When he talked about how time is a social construction? "Don't say things like that, it's not that easy," was what I thought, and Saeran shouted similar words.
Still, I admire his strength, because if I were in Saeyoung's place, I would have cried almost the entire time.
Now, Saeran...
Oh, Kait, you have no idea how much I love his voice. Some people say it doesn't suit the character, but for me it fits perfectly, Sujin Kang's performance is worthy of a standing ovation.
You can feel his disbelief as he sees V in that cabin, and how his reality crumbles as he cries "Savior! Savior!" when Rika refuses to give him answers. When he compared Saeyoung dragging him into the bunker with his mother locking up and Rika isolating him it was like someone had taken my heart in hand and squeezed it, he sounded so hopeless...
By the time Saeyoung stopped him from ending his life, I was sobbing silently. I cried in every episode of the second Secret Ending and always because of Saeran, even now my eyes fill with tears thinking about everything he had to go through.
I don't think I can say anything about our boy that you haven't said before, but I can assure you that my love for him is stronger than ever and that my new understanding of his mental state is going to drown me in sobs.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to reread Iris and cry about it properly.
Have a good night!
Jihyun is a complicated, multi-faceted character. He and Rika both did things that furthered the worst case scenario, and frankly, they brought out the worst in each other time and time again. I find him interesting, and frankly, he's my third favorite character because of how complex he is. Though, I hardly get to discuss it because V and Rika, both, are talked about in the sense of extremes rather than the realm of discussing how they both hold blame and fault.
Their relationship was mutually toxic and abusive. They were using each other for the wrong reasons and their relationships spiraled out of control because what they thought was love was actually idolation and obsession. V will keep his promise to never let go of someone to make up for what happened to his mother, and the only route where he is able to fully overcome that without hitting rock bottom, is in his own route.
Ray Route and Seven Route are the worst case scenario for Jihyun Kim.
Because he is immediately forced into a position where he has no choice but to decide what he wants to do with himself, and he will choose to regress into his mistakes every time instead of pulling out of them. It's one of the reasons why I like his character so much.
When you think he's going to finally help himself and make the right decision, he regresses, unfortunately, and that's human. All of these characters have moments where they regress or they struggle, and that's what helps them feel human, even if it's frustrating. We all have moments in our life like that, and we're not proud of it.
But, hey, the world isn't perfect and we can make mistakes despite our intentions.
I've loved Saeran since 2016, but let me tell you, SE Saeran means so much to me. It can be tough to play through the Secret Endings because I know exactly what he's feeling and I know where he's been. Looking at him sometimes it's like looking in a mirror, and there is comfort in knowing that he knows what it feels like to not have control over his situation, because sometimes all you want is to be understood by something you love.
Even if you can't find that in the real world, seeing it in the media means that your experience is something that can be understood and someone will get you someday, and smile at you the way you want.
It just goes to show that we can learn a lot from the things we love. Sure, you related much more to Saeyoung in this situation, but playing this allowed you the opportunity to see more of what it must feel like to be in your sister's shoes. I think the great thing about emotionally charged games like this is that it gives us the opportunity to better understand not only ourselves but the people around us. Because I think the best way to learn and grow is to continue to seek out things that make us see ourselves in a way that may not be comfortable, but gives us a chance to face what needs to be faced.
Iris is a labor of love so I am happy to hear that you enjoyed that story in particular. I always wanted to write an assistant timeline for Unknown outside of the confines of the one I created for my MC. That story was the one I always wanted to write and even to this day, I'm happy I wrote it.
That little plot twist at the end is my favorite part because there are bits and pieces that give you hints about what's going to happen once you get to those last few chapters, but I made them sparingly appear in the strangest places so it would come to the reader as a surprise.

in secret and thérèse raquin spoilers under the cut (ik a lot of you are planning on reading it and haven’t yet!! i’ll talk ab the book and the movie here,, and im really really rambling here like a huge huge nerd u can VERY much completely ignore this if u want)
jeeeeesusss fucking christ that movie was so much more than i remember fuck.. that fucking part with thérèse coming and just babbling out “thank you thank you thank you” LIKE SHIT… FUCK
camille is a very unfortunate man but.. and u can stone me for this i would forgive u but he is actually very easy to sympathize with??? like he’s so juvenile and so naive, very unfortunate person like that haircut is just tragic and it’s so icky he’s always sick but im sorry he’s a poor kid, that nativity and constant hopefulness is just… idk
im sorry even as im typing this it sounds so stupid, but in the book he really is just naive, and i find he’s exactly like that in the movie too i feel bad for him
EXCEPT FOR THAT ONE PART IN BED WITH THÉRÈSE that was really shitty but idk was wrong with the ppl putting this movie together because bitch no one was ever supposed to love thérèse or laurent.. i mean u totally can but it wasn’t supposed to be written as them being tragic lovers who just wanna be together n you feel super sorry for them. and i feel like they wrote that in for that exact reason.. doesn’t make it any less stupid and shitty tho. zola probably would’ve rly disliked the way this story was carried out in this movie
and fuck laurent seriously that mf wants to be so profound and mysterious so fucking bad yet he paints most times because he gets a hard on watching naked women like goodbye and im never going to forget the part in the book where he ogled a dead girl in the morgue who literally sewerslided
i really hate that man
gluttonous incapable coward god he’s terrible
i mean,, okay honestly if u never read the book or if you do read it and don’t care about its portrayal it’s not even a terrible movie, it’s not bad at all besides the typical morally questionable acts
the architecture and costumes and lightings and colours were all so beautiful the entire movie, i love watching it and taking everything in i mean it’s rly gorgeous, and ofc so is lizzie so i mean my eyes r rly never off the screen
so that was a huge thumbs up for me , the whole thing is really really pretty
i mean there r obvious things wrong ab the movie, it was written like thérèse is horribly mistreated and did what she did because of the emotional distress she was under, which okay like i said if u didn’t read the book totally totally fine makes sense like okay then she’s a relatively likable character and in that case this story is ab her reactions to her circumstances, a story like that is fine, so don’t get me wrong and think im saying it’s not
but the book and what happened in it from a naturalist perspective meaning that circumstance has little to no effect on someone’s natural way of behaving and reacting- put thérèse in any other environment she would still be the kind of demure person easily set aflame by small passionate sparks, she goes all-in bets everything and cares little about what happens if and when she burns out. that’s why she started the relationship, not solely bc she was neglected or distressed, tho im sure it also had a minor hand in it
in the book it said she was patient and able to stay relaxed n lithe like a cat because of how she had to help her aunt around n camille, and how quiet and in the background she had to be, but that did nothing on her temperament and natural way of being
even if her being quiet and patience changed, say she grew up in a different environment, she would still be one to start a relationship with laurent the same way she did canonically
i do not like how this was changed because it’s taking the whole thing out of context, rly changing all the bases of the characters and the book, and most importantly.. in the movie ur supposed to LIKE them together and see their relationship as romantic
not gonna lie there are only four solid pages in which i liked them together and u BET i came with receipts- page 38-42 (oxford university press edition translated by rothwell bc ik page formatting can differ based on book versions)
to some extent OFC i did feel bad for them in the book like the stuff they went through including thérèse being domestically abused and dozens of other things they went through is not something i’d ever feel apathy towards, but rly not once after finishing the book did i think aw man that end shouldn’t have happened and they were such a good couple
tho that is the response the movie seems to have been looking for
i think what happened at the end of the book was always always always going to happen, just like how laurent and thérèse ending up being super annoyed by each other would have always happened. once they started arguing with each other it was never going to stop and they simultaneously would never be able to live without it. that’s kind of the interesting and maybe to some ppl problematic part of naturalist literature
it’s totally FINE and really like it doesn’t matter that much if u read the book or not, you can enjoy consuming only one, or consuming both and liking only one of them! and you don’t have to care at all that it’s different from the book, the movie is pretty great on its own if you’re not comparing them
but my personal opinion comparing them… not the greatest portrayal of the book (massive things were changed!!!!). the book was rly good but the movie also has its perks too
lizzie is so incredible in this movie, not a single movie of hers that i’ve seen is disappointing, i love seeing films through her eyes and i find they’re all really centered in people and their struggles and motivations etc etc, and i rly love that
i do get pleasure out of watching in secret, it’s a very pretty movie and it’s entertaining to hate laurent and judge their relationship and lizzie is such a talented actress, i love their descent into insanity and their stupidity, it’s a movie i rly do like watching (and none of this is sarcastic i really seriously do like seeing them act like idiots at times, even in the book it was pretty entertaining)
this is a weird review i have to admit bc it seems for a majority of it that im bashing the movie,, ITS A GOOD MOVIE it’s entertaining and has a great cast and it’s pretty the soundtrack is great, so r the aesthetics it’s a great movie, it rly is
but in its portrayal to the book!!! not as good
but that doesn’t mean i don’t enjoy the movie, i do!!!
and here is one more observation i took from comparing the book and the movie: where the book did not go into detail with the sensual relationship between laurent and thérèse like the movie did tho it was still a huge part of the story, the movie also did not go into detail with the relationship that developed between them through the naturalist perspective. thus, in secret is an erotic romantic drama with not many mentions of naturalism and the book is huge on naturalism while talking no more than a collective page of their actual sexual interactions. i think MAYBE the directors n writers of the movie intended for naturalism and overt sexuality to be.. sort of synonymous? which is rly interesting i think. they both played similar roles with these characters (mostly thérèse) who store and shroud their sexualities like precious innate things as one would their natures. i thought that was kind of cool if that was the intention, and even if it wasn’t i think it was inadvertent but very clear statement either way
im not sure ab my options on that yet,, tho i kinda wanna read more about that from somewhere
i want to ask if anyone agrees with innate nature and sexuality being synonymous but idk if anyone has read this far it’s just me rambling like an idiot lmfao
ANYWAYS
i wish lizzie did more book adaptations it’s so fun to read books her movies are based on and watch her interviews and know she read the book too
it’s just so fun to analyze u know???
i need a literature pal T_T

I am SHAAAAKING in anger right now...like wtf was that episode. It doesn't make sense, none of it. I know we still have 3 episodes left BUT, episode 13 felt like such a slap in the face.
The miscommunication between jun-ho and youngwoo. It was just...left.
The forced 'blossoming relationship' between su-yeon and minwoo (which I REBUKE,my queen deserves better)
Don't even get me started on my king attorney Jung, I hate that they're putting him through pain.
Get ready, cause this is me ranting and it's gonna be long!
Junho and Youngwoo
Clearly, Junho was still a little upset at Youngwoo because of the whole 'we never said we were dating so we're not dating' convo that happened in ep 12, and I was full on expecting them to hash it out and come to some kind of resolve, but that just didn't happen. Instead we were slapped with a 2 second mention of what happened and then Youngwoo got hit with an inlaw meet up, like wtf. I had to replay the scene again just in case I missed anything. I would say that he is still just in love with her as ever, but something about they're relationship feels strange now, and there is soooo much that doesn't make sense like, Junho is such a great guy, and through the first half of this show I kept thinking 'wow, so he comes from a family that accepts people for who they are and are non-judgemental, how brilliant' and then we meet his sister, who passes judgement and prejudice, she didn't even get to know Youngwoo properly, she just took one look at her and already had it in her mind that she couldn't make junho happy. And that thing she said about how their parents would faint if they found out about her,it had my heart squeezing with anxiety and sadness and I felt soooo bad for our Youngwoo. I am still trying to be optimistic about our whale couple, and I get that there will be challenges in this relationship like the writer said there will be, but with only 3 episodes left, I don't know how things are gonna turn out, especially when they had the chance (multiple chances) to clear the air this episode and blatantly chose not too.
2. Choi Suyeon and Kwon Minwoo romance plot
NO!! ok NOOOO!!! Look, that moment he had with his surprised Pikachu face in ep 9 is something I can look past because let's be real, we all reacted the same way, even Youngwoo turned half lesbian when she saw her but this...this is just not ok. I would've been good with it had Minwoo had his redemption arc in earlier episodes, but it just feels too rushed and sloppy now. What!? We're supposed to sympathize with him all of a sudden because his parents have health problems and he's got too be the breadwinner for his family? like, it sucks that his parents are unwell, but that still doesn't excuse the behaviour he has displayed towards Youngwoo and the things he is still ACTIVELY trying to do. And they wanna throw Su Yeon in the middle of it? Our girl has been through enough!! I won't say anymore about this other than I hope this is just a subplot where Suyeon finds out about what he plans to do and derails his plans. Extra points if Geurami somehow finds out also and they stomp him together, bit of a reach but, if the latest episode has taught us anything, it's to expect the unexpected.
3. Attorney Jung
It was touching albeit heartbreaking to see a glimpse of his married life, as soon as they got to that old noodle place and he started talking fondly about it, I knew there had to be something else, the smile he had on his face while explaining the noodles to everyone, it felt like warm familiarity. Even though his storyline is heavy with sadness and pain, I love how he fully embraced the trip to Jeju. Choosing to ride in the drop top with Geurami and hairy boss at the bafflement of his colleagues, telling everyone that he just wants to hang out with them and enjoy food and drinks, promptly slamming their laptops down and making a mess of Youngwoo's papers(that made me laugh out loud and fall in love with him even more😂) even though he knows this is still work, he's making the most and best of it, and I couldn't be happier for him. The end made me cry for obvious reasons, I'm sooo scared for him. Imma throw hands if anything tragic happens to him.
Anyways, those were my 3 major concerns. I know there's a lot more to unpack but my brain is still trying to recover atm😂
Sidenote: Geurami and hairy boss were the dopamine we all needed to make it through.
And thank you for coming to my Ted talk😊

Pointing out Toms contempt for fan theories. I used to find the little jabs about readers funny, like people thought Jones was a robot and he actually had someone theorize it in canon as a joke. But now I feel like their almost vindictive. Like when people wondered if Tony had some sort of power that allowed him to come off as more charming, which would have explained why Kat was the only one who seemed to be calling out his abuse since she's not effected by ether in the same way. Then Get Lost happened and we literally had James accusing Tony of doing something to Surma like that. Once again using Eglamore as the unreasonable detractor...after he just got cheated on. I'm sorry I'm sorry if all these asks as encouraging this place into a tonyhateblog but words can not describe how much I loath Tom demanding I sympathize with this character and him ruining his decades long story to do it.
Don’t apologize. I love getting these asks, and if I’m honest this was already a Tony hate blog before I even started it, lol. And I agree completely. There’s times when I love it when creators interact with fandoms, but Tom seems to have taken multiple opportunities to use his comic to insult fans or directly tell them they’re wrong in how they feel about something, instead of just like… I dunno… letting the story speak for itself? Which seems to me to be the better option here?
I have a lot of problems with “Get Lost.” This was always a story of Eglamore getting hurt for reasons that weren’t his fault, but I wouldn’t have been averse to the cheating thing if it was presented more compellingly. Like, we always knew Surma is a morally ambiguous character who has no problem making selfish choices that hurt others, and I was fine with that - in fact, I liked her for it. But “Get Lost” is such a boring, weird chapter, which doesn’t really endear me to either Tony OR Surma, and at the end I get the strong impression we’re supposed to sympathize entirely with Surma and think Eglamore is just the crazy ex who deserved to be cheated on because he was never around. (Andrew has managed not to cheat on Parley, but okay.) I’ve never really liked that chapter, and I’ve always sort of hold onto hope that more will be revealed about it - like, maybe the story that Surma told Anja wasn’t the whole truth. But it’s been 5 years, so somehow I doubt it.
Honestly, I’m still kind of theorizing that there might be something supernatural about Tony. “Get Lost” is, in some ways, a pretty mysterious chapter. What was going on with the insects and slugs? When I first read it, I myself was convinced we were meant to interpret it as some sort of supernatural interference that made Surma more inclined to fall in love, but now I’m not so sure what to think. In any case, I think it’s pretty reasonable for fans to theorize that, and I don’t think it’s reasonable for Tom to use his comic to jab at them.

LEONA STORY THOUGHTS PLEASE I am curious what you think abt his arc...I personally saw it as lacking
OK IM GLAD OTHER PEOPLE THINK THAT TOO
I love Leona as a character, he and Jade were my favourites going in and still are, but holy shit they did him such a big disservice come the end of his book.
he’s genuinely amongst my favourite characters almost exclusively for his nuance and story (his looks are a very big plus wwww)
ok so i rambled a lot and basically summarized book 2 without me realizing so
 1. spoilers
2. IM SORRY I MADE THIS SO LONG
They handed us such a good build-up, they show off how cunning Leona is- he’s ruthless but in the sense that he has a goal in mind and can SEE that goal and how to get there. Hell they also show us that all of Savanaclaw (bar Jack) considers him a great leader and is willing to follow him into this scheme, even though Savanaclaw had seemed, up until that point, all about physical strength. Our initial impressions of Leona are that he’s arrogant, fairly aggressive (our first interaction was almost quite a violent one), and lazy. With the slow unveiling of his ploy to take out Diasmonia, we get the sense that theres a lot more to this catman than it seems: he’s smart and cunning.
When it gets to the actual confrontation, with the reveal that Savanaclaw’s plan was dismantled without them knowing and the ensuing fight, only for us to win, its such a good and incredibly tense moment!! We know he’s going to overblot at this point, and by god are we tense and ready to see him snap, then he suddenly says he doesn’t care.
To the rest of his dorm, that was betrayal- and we can tell it stung. We know he was just as invested in this plan as the rest of his boys, yet he starts going on how he doesn’t care. How this doesn’t and could never matter in the grand scheme of things (which grants us the first of few insights into his inner feelings). He snaps, insulting Ruggie, but also insulting himself, both as people who can never turn around their lineage. What was handed to him is all they will ever be, and in Leona’s case, he could never hope to be king. Everything he does will only ever be looked down upon, drowned in the looming shadow of his older brother.
From there we know that the overblots about to happen, he’s turning into sand, he’s loosing grip on himself and his magic. I’d love to talk about Ruggie’s whole role in this and his feelings because they really did gloss over that Leona almost killed him, that he was severely hurt by someone he put his faith in. That’s gotta leave some trauma afterwards, but I’ll save it for another time.
Right before his overblot we get this line from Lilia, “Would that the lion king of the savanna could witness this absolute farce. No, if you ask me, the collar suits you far better than a crown ever could.”
He goes on to compare him to Malleus- ouch- and that tips Leona over the edge, being directly told that not only can he never take the crown, that he doesn’t even deserve it.
How ironic that Savanaclaw revered him as a strong and cunning leader, a GOOD leader.
(This has turned out really long and theres probably no need to continue on, I think I’ve made my point in how good of a build-up they handed us with Leona’s story, essentially just that they give us a really good explanation of a backstory, it’s not enough to make us sympathize and forgive him, but it sure informs us of why he’s like this and his view on life.)
Ok, come after Leona’s overblot, he just kinda, gets up.
Like,,, were not handed anything- Leona just kinda brushes it off (I personally hate how little they focus on how exhausted and disorientated these boy’s should’ve been after an overblot, especially after were told that it can kill them).
Just in general, they didn’t give Leona a resolution to any of this, and they honestly did that with Azul as well. With Riddle at least, he tries to change- his overblot has a notable affect on Riddle as a character, that he’s learning that his life doesn’t have to be a set of rules. Leona makes no such character development and boy do the people around him let him off easy for this as well. You’d think Ruggie would feel more strongly about this after he was almost turned to sand.
Overall I feel a lot of frustration with how little they let him (and Azul) develop as characters afterwards, it feels like the book just falls flat on its face after we defeat Leona’s blot monster.
God I’m sorry this was so long but I hope everything got across ok-
Yeah they didn’t go places with his arc and I hate it because he has so much to work with and they gave him the chance to start to work through it but just completely let it pass.
I honestly also have some gripes on how this fandom seems to characterize him a lot, I can’t quite put a finger on how it bothers me (tho i see quite a lot of people focusing on how he’s just handsome but lazy and none of his more serious problems, i.e. an inferiority complex), but theres actually a really good fic (its a Leona x Malleus one LMAO) that has my favourite characterization of him to date.

Still No Way of Turning Back the Hours | Jun'ya | 4.6 | RE: great googly moogly it's all gone to shit
There is only so much of this that one can be expected to take with a straight face. Yukari, regardless of her involvement, regardless of what she did and said, was still his friend. It probably won’t change much, Jun’ya knows this, but it's the very least he can do for her at a time like this to speak up against the excessive ad hominem. He shoots Charybdis a disapproving look.
“Charybdis, that’s enough. There is absolutely no need to be so cruel to Yukari. You said that you didn’t want this to turn into a soap opera, so please stop acting like she’s part of one. It’s really not necessary.”
He sighs. Poor Yukari. Poor Fergus. None of this should have happened, but it did, and there was no changing that now.
“I think it’s clear by now that whoever was responsible had nothing against Alfie in particular. It was little more than unlucky timing, and the fact that he had already been drinking may have influenced the impulsiveness with which he took the drink. It is simply sad that things had to come to this. Surely, we can agree on that much.”
The time has come and gone for the bickering, he feels. They don’t need to be so hateful when things are winding down to an ending. Yukari is still fighting, hard as she can. All to be expected at a time like this. She still deserves at some gentleness, in spite of everything.
“Fergus did acknowledge that it was always going to be a gamble. in his case. I can sympathize with your plight, really - I doubt I’d be able to make a decision like that in your position myself. Truthfully, I don’t think I would ever be able to choose who ‘deserves’ to leave over anyone else, especially at such a high cost. It just wouldn't be pragmatic.
Perhaps that will be a satisfactory answer too. It remains unclear what Yukari is hoping to get out of the rest of her tirade until the very end. So much for not needing to be hateful. Whatever she wants, it clearly isn’t sympathy, if that’s the kind of stab she’s going to take. She was just trying to provoke him, and based on the way he glares at her for it, she succeeded.
“Say whatever you like about me, but leave her out of it. Doubling down on Inigo’s tactics like that is incredibly tasteless for a dignified woman like yourself. I expected better from you, even after everything that has happened today.”
What is with these people and his mother good lord.

There’s a person, Z for story purposes , that I loved with everything I fucking am. A person who once said that I was a dad to them. Nothing sexual about it. I’m 54 and they are 25 at the time of this writing. We had a mutual friend D, who knew them longer than I did. At first, he was nice to me. We were members of the Discord server created by Z Ok now at one time this person said some bad things regarding Z on a Tiktok comment. Now Z is factually the most beautiful person I ever have seen. So a lot of shit comments would fly their way. Well, as a Moderator, I wanted other people to report this guy’s comment. D on the other hand , ultra conservative as he is, was telling me that I act like I’m the only person that can save Z and that other people had a right to say what they wanted to. WTF??? We had a falling out for a short time, made amends to be friends again. Later on Z decides to leave social media altogether and quit talking to everyone. Except for me, D and their IRL friends. Ok all the time I have known Z, it was made perfectly clear to EVERYONE how I felt about them. As mine own child and my heart. So ever since the falling out with D, everything that he and Z ever done, D just had to call me and tell me. He disguised it as just a friendly status report but truly he was flexing on me bc he felt he had to be Z’s #1 go to. Granted he probably was in that he’s probably sent Z thousands in Simp money. Don’t get me wrong, I sent a grand Z’s way too. During this time I sent Z flowers to a stuffie, just to have them thrown in the trash. I wrote hand written letters to have one returned to me and the others probably got tossed out too. Idk but either way, no response. Unanswered phone call on many occasions. Texting dropped. I was told it’s bc of being exhausted and working a lot. There’s no time in a 24 hour day to even text Good Morning. Meanwhile D and Z have been talking about a podcast. NO TIME TO TEXT? Yet phone calls with D?? Z MAKES time for a week long visit with D . Which is a 9 hour drive one way. Fine and dandy , idgaf about it except D had to flex about the visit and how great was to have Z there!! Bastard. I ask him what all they did, oh we talked and drove around Birmingham. Visit was great! Ok at this point I’m done talking so I get off the phone. Ok so Z gets back home, texts me that they’re home safe, which I appreciate it bc I’m thinking I’m still lower case dad here. A week or so goes by and I get a phone call from D again. Flex time. This time he disguised his flexing as “we’re friends and I don’t want to keep it from you” thing. He tells me that they were “intimate” and that Z initiated it. He said that Z said to not say a word to me about it. So it shows that they had prior knowledge that it would destroy me. ( Would you be happy if a friend fucked your daughter?). He told me not to say that he told me. In the meantime I’m dying by the moment. The very next day, Z FINALLY texts me back to tell me that they’re not ignoring my texts or feelings but are dealing with Dads dementia and kidney failing, Moms got cancer and Sister has ED. Well I can sympathize with all of that indeed and I hope the best for all. At this point I tell Z that D spilled the tea about them fucking. Z said it was insignificant and that they were horny, he was there, one and done. That they had zero feelings beyond friendship for D. So no reason to tell me. Wtff?? No reason to fuck him when you know it’s going to fuck me up! Z apologized for the pain it caused me. Then as I lie bleeding from that blow, Z tells me that our friendship is over bc of needing space to deal with family health issues. At this point I’m totally destroyed. I hate D so much!! I’ve written him in my Deathnote. The door is open for Z still. However, I think Z wanted a way to dump me out of their life for a long time. Z never honestly cared . Just lived lies. Lies.

JJK Men x Insecure chubby Fem!reader
Today has been hard to think of myself positively, and I have friends who struggle with the same thing, so I thought I could indulge some people with some very loved characters reminding us that, no matter our size, we're perfect.
Characters: Satoru Gojo, Toji Fushiguro, Choso Kamo, Kento Nanami
Warnings: Insecurities, body dysphoria, Toji's gets spicy (sue me), suggestive at the end of Nanami's, tooth rotting fluff.
Satoru Gojo
- Let's be completely honest here, this man rarely feels insecure, if he ever does.
- He wouldn't be able to sympathize, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care. In fact, it makes him care a lot more.
- His comfort methods aren't for everyone either, so be prepared. He's trying, give him that.
- Humor. That's what this man knows. Iykyk, this man deflects any form of trauma with his humor.
- If he notices it isn't working, then he'll come up with something else because he loves you. That love tells him that he has to try.
"Oh sweetie pie, I'm home!" Satoru's voice carries easily through the house, but you can't seem to care at the moment. Your cheeks still feel somewhat sticky from the tears that have fallen the past thirty minutes.
"Honey bun? I said I-" His voice cuts off, and you know you're caught. The bed shifts where your boyfriend lowers himself beside you. "Y/N, why are you crying?"
"I-I don't want to talk about it, Satoru." He removes his blindfold with a small chuckle. "Did your favorite anime character die?" "No." "You sure? You tend to sob when-" "I said I don't want to talk about it."
He freezes at the way you lash out at him. Yeah, something is actually wrong.
"Love," his voice softens in a way that shows how worried he is, "is there anything I can do to help? Anything at all?" You're quiet for a minute, but you eventually scoot closer to him.
"You want me to hold you?" All you manage is a nod before more tears slide down your cheeks. His long arms encase you securely against him. "I can do that as long as you need. I'm here for you, Y/N."
The two of you stay like that, you crying softly into his uniform while he runs his hand up and down your back.
Eventually, your sobs turn into small sniffles, and you finally speak. "I.. I'm sorry for snapping at your earlier, Sato." He smiles at the loving nickname. "No, baby, I'm sorry for joking around. You wanna talk about it now?"
"I just... I was thinking about.. how many girls looks so much better than I do." He scoffs. "You're kidding, right?" "Sato.." "No, I mean that. It isn't a joke. Baby, we've been through this since day one. I. Want. You."
You hide your now blushing face against his chest. "But.. I just don't understand.." "Look at me, baby." When you do, his bright blue eyes seem to shimmer. "You're the love of my life. You're gorgeous, stunning, beautiful, and every other synonym to those that I'll have to get Nanami to teach me because I will remind you everyday until it gets through your thick ass skull."
His hand comes up to rest on your chubby cheek, where he starts to wipe away the drying tears. "I. Love. You. So. Freaking. Much. Y/N." Each word is punctuated with a kiss on a different part of your face, until he eventually meets your lips.
The small giggles you let out makes him smile. "There's that beautiful laugh! Come on, why don't I pop some popcorn and we go watch whatever you want on the TV?" Your shit eating grin makes him snort a bit of laughter. "Even if it ends in a favorite character dying?"
"I don't mind having to hold you a bit longer."
Toji Fushiguro
- This is also someone I don't think can really empathize with you and your insecurities.
- However, when this man falls he falls HARD
- He will do anything in his power to make you feel better.
- Well
- Anything he can do while still seeming nonchalant about it
- Lets talk about how this man would take matters into his own hands, with his own hands, to make sure you know how loved you are. (You couldn't have expected just fluff with him, give me a break y'all.)
"Y/N," Toji kicks his shoes off carelessly at the door, "I'm home." He raises a confused eyebrow when he looks around the house. Plates from your movie night yesterday lay strewn about the coffee table, still.
'She never leaves dishes out. That's weird.'
He starts to walk around the house, worry filling his chest. It just isn't like you to leave a mess, or to not greet him at the door. There's no way someone came and did something to you, right? No one is THAT dumb, surely.
When he hears the small sniffles coming from your shared bedroom, he breathes a small sigh of relief. "Y/N? I'm coming in." He pushes the bedroom door open to see you cuddling his pillow while laying on your side.
His eyes widen at the sight of your body trembling from the small sobs. "Y/N?" He walks around the bed to kneel in front of you. "What happened?"
"N-Nothing Toji. Sorry, I-I know the house is a w-wreck." "Shut up about the damn house. I don't care. Why are you crying?"
You finally sit up, which lets him sit beside you on the bed. "I just.. Bad day." "Who do I need to stab?" "T-Toji?! You can't solve everything by stabbing!" He shrugs a bit. "You can try."
He smiles sweetly when you slap his arm. "That isn't funny." "Hmmm, but it made your cheeks flush." "Toji Fushiguro!" "Alright, alright. You wanna tell me what's wrong now?"
"I just.. looked in a mirror for too long, babe. Don't worry about-" "I'm lost. What do you mean you looked in one for too long?" You sigh, knowing he hates vague answers.
"My body is disgusting me today, Toji." He scrunches his eyebrows and leans in a bit closer to you. Your face heats up from the slight glare in his eyes.
"Looks the same to me." "Toji, I-" "Correct yourself." His already deep voice seems to drop even lower. Your entire body trembles. "S-Sir."
"Good girl. Now, let me get this straight. You don't think you're attractive." You shake your head, suddenly feeling the tears come back to your eyes. "Why not?" "J-Just.. my body.. it isn't.." "Skinny?" The word hurts your heart, but you nod, knowing he expects some sort of answer.
"So? You're exactly what I need, Y/N." You glance up to meet his loving gaze. "N-need?" "Don't play dumb. You know I need you. Now, we have to fix those insecurities."
He stands, offering his hand out to you. When you take it, he pulls you to your feet.
"Now," he groans as he lays back down on the bed, "I've had a tiring day at work. I want you to strip and come take a seat." "A-a seat?" His smirk tells you what you need to know before he elaborates. "I AM rather starved. Come on, I'm pretty impatient."
"To-Sir, I'm too.." "Heavy? Try again. You aren't getting out of this." He snaps his fingers, and the sound runs deep into your core. His eyes watch you hungrily as you start to get out of your pants.
"Now, for every one of your orgasms, I want to hear 'I'm Toji's pretty princess.' Understand?" "Y-yes sir."
You have no idea what posses you, but you finally let out you own witty comment. "You could at least take me to dinner first."
"You cheeky brat, don't worry. I have plans for your meal."
Hope you don't mind being hoarse for a while. You had to repeat just how pretty you were a number of times.
Choso Kamo
- SWEETEST MOTHER FUCKER I SWEAR
- He doesn't see a single flaw in you, honestly.
- Plus, he doesn't really understand beauty standards. All he knows is he loves every inch of you.
- Nothing goes unloved by this big ass baby.
- You crying would probably bring him to tears because he feeds off your emotion.
- But there is no doubt this man will do anything and everything to see your smile again.
- A true king who just wants his queen as happy as she makes him.
He left you for maybe an hour. Maybe. Choso just had to run and pick up a movie from Yuji.
"Angel, Yuji said that we have to-" He drops the movie the instant he sees tears in your eyes. "L-love? What happened?"
He rushes to your side and wastes no time wrapping you in his strong embrace. Your hands grip his shirt in a feeble attempt to pull him closer.
"What happened? Do you need something? A doctor?" His eyes are scanning your body for any signs of pain. His hands running gently over your back, arm, sides, but everything seems normal.
"I-I'm okay, Cho." "No, you aren't. Please, angel, don't lie to me." His own eyes start to fill with tears, but he tries to will them away. He knows he shouldn't be crying, but seeing you in any pain hurts him just as much.
"Cho, I just.. It's stupid." His large hands cup your face so you're forced to meet his eyes. "Nothing that makes you cry is stupid. Absolutely nothing, my love."
"I.. I tried to put on a hoodie of yours because I was cold." He blinks in confusion. "Was.. was it dirty?" "No I.. I stretched it out.." he tilts his head.
"Is that all?" You nod, but even more tears come to your eyes. "I just hate how big I am.. I thought you would find it cute to come home and see me in your clothes but.. I just messed them up.." He stands, suddenly walking into the kitchen. "C-Cho?"
"I bought some of your favorite ice cream. You know, the kind you always crave on your period. I figure we can cuddle and you can enjoy it while we watch a movie."
"I- I don't really want anything to eat." He smiles, still grabbing it and a spoon. "I know, but just in case. Listen," he places the carton on the table next to you, "you're gorgeous. Every part of you just screams beauty. Nothing could ever change that. Not your size, not you stretching out a stupid hoodie, not you crying, nothing."
He opens the carton, only to get a spoonful out and kneel in front of you. "Open up, angel." You do as he says and allow him to feed you the ice cream. You can't help but smile as you eat it.
His index finger wipes a few old tears from your cheeks. "There's that smile I love. Now, I think we need a movie and some cuddles. How does that sound?" You can only nod, absolutely floored by how much Choso truly loves you.
No more negative thoughts came to your mind while you laid against his chest. He even took a few times to feed you more ice cream throughout the movie.
Oh yeah, he totally bought new hoodies in a bigger size so you could wear them around the house without fear of stretching them.
Kento Nanami
- KING ENERGY
- You can't tell me this man doesn't want someone who acts as his pillow. Come on.
- That being said, Nanami knows how it is to be insecure.
- Whether it's over body insecurity or not, that can be argued either way. Still, insecurities aren't something he's ignorant about.
- On days where you can't seem to like your body, he'll do whatever you need.
- Need to be alone? No problem. Need someone to talk to you? Covered. Just need to be told you're loved? He'll tell you as many times as it takes.
- However, he can't help but be blunt. That's just who he is.
- He does it out of love for you, though. He never wants you to believe something that isn't true.
It's really hard for you and Nanami to get the same day off of work, and today was no different. Since you were the one working today, Nanami decided to take up cleaning the house and preparing dinner. He would also insist on doing the dishes, but he knew better. You never allow him to do all of the work.
He watched the clock hit five thirty and smiled. No doubt, that was your car he heard pull into the driveway. Now that you were home, he could surprise you by telling you that he managed to get the next five days off, which matched your schedule.
The front door opens, and he's quick to call out a "Welcome home, dear. Dinner will be done soon." He turns his body, preparing to catch you in his embrace as usual. However, all that happens is you call back, "Thanks, Ken."
His eyebrows furrow, and he quickly takes dinner off the stove so he can go check on you. He's not one to forget anniversaries or anything like that, so his mind is going through any possible reason you just called him Ken.
"Bad day at work, dear?" He wipes his hand on his apron as he comes around the corner. You were already sitting on the couch, eyes on your phone. "Yeah, I guess." "Okay," he sighs and sits beside you, "would you like to talk about it?" When you finally look at him, his eyes widen. Your eyes are puffy, as if you had been crying.
"Y/N.." "It's just coworker drama, Ken, don't worry too much about it." He scrunches his face. Those women you work with always pissed him off. He's noticed them staring at him whenever he brings you lunch. "Well, humor me a bit. What happened today?"
He just knows you can't resist gossiping with him after a work day. "I-I don't want to repeat it, Ken." The worried look in his eyes makes you whimper. "What?"
"I'm not used to you calling me 'Ken' at home." "Sorry, honey. It's nothing you did." He smiles softly and reaches to cup one of your cheeks in his hand. "Are you sure you don't want to tell me?" You do. God, you do because you know you'll cry again and he'll be here to hold you through it.
"They started talking about you." "Me?" "Yeah," you look at your hands, already feeling your chest tighten, "and started laughing at how you're.. settling for someone who is as big as I am.."
Nanami's soft looks suddenly turns harsh. How dare they say stuff like that? What's worse is he's sure they knew you could hear them!
"Really?" When you nod, a tear falls onto your lap. "It just.. really hurt knowing that I'm not the only one who thinks that." "Y/N.." He pulls you into a hug with a soft sigh.
"Don't think like that. Dear, if I wanted anything different than what I have now, you would know it." You sigh and cuddle into his warm embrace. "I know, but-" "But nothing, my love. I love you, only you, forever you. Do you understand?" You glance up and he places a soft kiss on your forehead.
"Yeah.. I love you too, Kento." "I have an idea." "Uh huh?" His smirk has you worried. "Well, we both have the next five days off.." "We do?!"
The excitement in your voice has him chuckling. "There's my pretty laugh. Yes, we do. I'm thinking on your first day back.. you go in with a ring on your finger."
You blink in confusion. "K-Kento, you don't-" "Oh I do. Am I the person to joke about wanting to marry you?" Your eyes start to fill, yet again, with tears. However, these tears make Nanami also tear up a bit.
"Are you... asking..?" "I have a ring just for you in my suit jacket, Y/N. Just say you'll marry me." He isn't really expecting you to jump on him, so when you do, he falls from the couch to the floor. "You know I'll marry you, Ken!"
The two of you share a long kiss, complete with tears and laughter. "Well, now that that's decided. I think we should get a head start on something." "What would that be?"
He stands before securing you in his arms bridal style. "The Prehoneymoon." "That isn't a thing, honey." He smirks before playfully smacking your ass. "For you, Mrs. Nanami, anything is possible."

Who's ready for an episode 10 rant?!
I know I am.
Ever since episode 9, we're getting insight to yeon su's feelings towards ung, and with it, PAIN. Cant say this episode was any easier.
Yeon su's grandma's reaction is exactly the amount of anger I had expected from Ung's parents towards her.
But now that he KNOWS yeon su cried and thus also had a difficult time with the breakup, I hope he realizes she isn't as "nonchalant" as he had described her before over and over. I hope he realizes in one of his naps under the shade that yeon su's been putting up a front the entire time and is able to forgive her ( since they both suffered enough ): )
I must say I really appreciate Choi Ung for genuinely being a really nice guy. Up until now, we had only seen him as a sad, sulking puppy with [a lot of] repressed emotions and his playful/vengeful side when scheming against yeon su. But I really liked how he listened to his best friend and made time for sleep overs & catching up <3 throughout his middle school to young adult years. And him offering a tissue to NJ or consoling her after being hated on. Plus, he took grandma's oral beatings like a champ. He's a really good sport and polite and sincere so I'm glad we got to see that part of him. This is gonna sound less like a rant and more like a love letter, but I also want to mention how he turned on all the lights outside his house and knew which bus yeon su had to take to get back home 🥺🥺🥺
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE FROM HIM THIS EP? The "See? We can be friends" line. It's not exactly reassuring for yeon su to hear that after he spent the day with nj. His sincerity knows no bounds, and, apparently, neither does his cluelessness. They were literally staring at eachother teary-eyed in front of her house--it doesn't seem very "friendly" to me. His resistance to dating her from episode 9 comes back as delusion in this one.
I still have a very open, very bloody wound from when he straightforwardly told her "I'm not dating you again." And I'm not sure if this was the exact translation, but Netflix subtitles were too blunt with that one. It hurt me, and I'm not even yeon su. So the friend line was cutthroat
Jiung's back-story was also revealed for the second time with flashbacks of his childhood, and although sad, I'm not sure what I has to do with the plot. Other than further characterization of jiung and maybe making the viewer want jiung to get the girl more..
THIS viewer, however, is not swayed, if it wasn't obvious. Still rooting for the main pair and also rooting for NJ to have a sudden comeback to Japan or a world tour.
This episode also briefly showed us that NJ does, in fact, work and make performances (actual ahocker to me). Indeed, she would message Choi Ung in between shows and her "glamorous life," even making him pay to see the VOD's. Obviously taking advantage of how nice Choi ung is. If these two have so much time to be texting eachother, they ought to have more work assigned to them. I didn't know being an artist was soo easy (sarcastic). I hope all the NJ supporters who sympathized with her because she was a lonely celebrity all realize how sly and shameless she is with the preview where she lies to yeon su about dating ung. She repeatedly tells Ung how she likes him and compliments him and says they're going on "dates" in front of yeon su for fun. From the very beginning, from how frisky she was to now, I could tell her I would grow to dislike her.
I'm just glad her true colors are coming to light, and hopefully also Choi ung notices. And stops being stringed along so easily since this obviously hurts yeon su. Kook Yeon Su, there will be justice! Just wait a lil.
Or in my case, a whole other week. Sigh

Yeah, the flurry of Mikan Tsumiki and Hiyoko Saionji-related discussion from a little over a week back u
And for the above ask: Yeah, and it seems like the fact that Mikan is pretty clearly a victim of years of different types of abuse only makes Hiyoko want to abuse her even more. She even says that that it's "fun" to "mess with" her. Blech.
And the killing ants thing didn't freak me out as much as the killing CRABS thing did. That's just torturing and killing wildlife for fun. You already said what that implies. She's really fucked up.
Tumblr media
I agree And the fact that she A) may have been somewhat tormented by others who feel threatened by her family's legacy and B) dares to accuse the others of "bullying" her really shows that she's GOT to be fully aware of her actions.
Tumblr media
Mikan certainly looks emotionally wounded... and Fuyuhiko might get pissed at Hiyoko at some point? I can’t remember. But otherwise, yes. I do think that's probably the case. Makes you wonder if she's seen more seriously once she has her growth spurt... or maybe not, and they just can't get over knowing her as someone short and childish. I bet she doesn't stop acting like she's a little kid even after she sprouts.
Tumblr media
These are valid points. I do sometimes wonder if Fuyuhiko would ever have ever changed if he hadn’t (seemingly) lost Peko. She was so important to him, and her “death” is the blow that makes him change his tune. What’s perhaps most impressive is that it’s immediately obvious how sorry he is in the very next chapter. But on the other hand, we have Hiyoko. Just like Fuyuhiko, she lost someone she seemed to really adore, and we’re meant to believe that she’s goign to change herself as a result. Right before the Chapter 3 trial Hajime even claims that she was trying to change.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, we don’t see a lot of evidence of that change. Part of that is naturally that she dies before she can really change much, but like I said - Fuyuhiko manages to show a ton of remorse and change his tune completely in that very same chapter. She could’ve done it. Alas, by the time we finally see her return in the “Hope Arc” episode of DR3, it appears that she’s still only in the earliest stages of her attempts to better herself. But hey — at least we do see evidence of the attempt, however fleeting it may be!
Tumblr media
I don’t think it’s remotely as widespread an issue as it is with Kokichi. And in Saionji’s case, I didn’t even know it was present at ALL until very recently. But some of the asks I’ve received in this past few weeks have highlighted to me the fact that, YUP, there are certainly fans who’ve interpreted Hiyoko as more of a victim and somehow come to see Tsumiki as the real threat/predator. It’s bonkers, but it does exist.
Still, it feels weird to use the Draco in Leather Pants on Hiyoko Saionji due to how it implies  to me (via the “Leather Pants” ref) that those subscribing to it are finding the Reinterpreted Abuser to be attractive. And Hiyoko looks like an Actual Child, which I’d assume means this isn’t likely to apply. Maybe you could view it as them finding this abuser just “cute” instead?
Tumblr media
I’ve been pretty open on here about my affection for Miu. And it definitely helps that I find a lot of her dialogue to be hilarious, even if I’m kind of embarassed to admit. Miu certainly has legitimately awful moments, but as we come to understand how much she’s more about bark than bite - she’s just outwardly overcompensating for her own self-doubts and fear - I came to actually sympathize with her. And hey, I’ve already suggested my theory that maybe some of Miu’s over-the-top sexuality is caused by the same traumatic event that made her start generating all of her invention concepts. I can’t call it canon, but I think that’d be a cool thing to deal with.
Hiyoko never shows any evidence of low self-esteem, though. Her FTEs reveal quite the opposite, if anything - her overinflated ego is completely genuine, and she is very self-aware about how much she enjoys tormenting and/or manipulating others. this isn’t something she’s just doing subconsciously or instinctually — she’s aware of what she’s doing, and she just keeps right on doing it. :(
Tumblr media
I... hope this isn’t true. I’m not going to shut down people from offering their opinions or questions, but I have to believe things aren’t quite this dour in fandom.
While yes, fandom culture has certainly widened in appeal and gone much more mainstream... and again, yes, the broader public seems currently more inclined to support abusers than victims... I still feel like Danganronpa remains more niche than many mainstream fandoms. In a way that makes more of its fans kind of geeky and therefore probably more sympathetic to these issues.
Maybe.  ..... Hopefully.
Tumblr media
This one is pretty old and pre-dates last week’s flurry of Mikan-related asks, but I wanted to drag it out of my backlog because it's such a positive image to end this whole thing on. :D Please enjoy! Lol

Was Hotch Abused?
I offer you my 2,300+ worded thoughts on the matter with episodes included. There's going to be lots and lots of talk about abuse so you're going to want to steer clear of that if that's something you're not cool with but for those of you interested... I give you all the proof I could think of:
Natural Born Killer.
In the eighth episode of the first season, “Natural Born Killer”, we meet Vincent Perrotta. His father was abusive but from the outside looking in, no one knew a thing. Perrotta started drinking at fourteen and committed petty crimes, as well as assault, for pleasure. Going as far as to kill his own father not too long after. But Perrotta is a monster and a psychopath so it’s clear we’re not supposed to sympathize which makes his interaction with Hotch so peculiar.
Hotch is our “Captain America”. A true neutral with an infinity for doing what’s right so it’s inconceivable to compare him to Perrotta and yet Hotch gives us some rather conflicting lines to dissect.
Before Gideon hands the interview over to Hotch, he spends a moment talking with the others out in the bullpen. The whole time he’s leaned back and he’s watching Morgan and Hotch. Now, at this point, we don’t know about the sexual abuse Derek Morgan faced at the hands of Carl Buford but there’s something about the way that Gideon spends the entirety of the conversation only looking at the two of them. Waiting for them to put together what he clearly already has and when Hotch does…
Hotch jumps straight into Perrotta’s profile, asking: “You grew up in a house that looked normal and happy, didn’t you Vincent?”, “But your father beat you every chance he got”
Perrotta excuses it with a shrug, “he smacked me around some, didn’t everybody’s old man?”
Abuse is a complicated thing and, often, abused children just don’t know what their parents are doing to them is abuse. It can be a subtle and outright thing but there’s an element of normalcy to it. The parent’s abuse is as habitual, as minimal as biting your nails to the child. Adults often can’t identify their parent’s past abuse.
With Hotch you learn that his lack of expression is often as telling as his expressions and as Hotch looks back at Perrotta, there’s something so sad about his eyes. His voice goes from loud, assertive to his whispered answer to Perrotta’s question. “No.” As if, well, maybe that’s a question he’d raised once too.
Perrotta doesn’t care about that though and he taunts “well, maybe if yours had you would have learned to fight”. But is it not more telling that Hotch didn’t make a sound? Perrotta got in several hits and the only sound Hotch made was when the wind was literally punched out of him. Not even when Gideon called to him and at that point, Perrotta did not the garrote around Hotch’s throat. That’s another thing mentioned before in the profile and something Hotch mentions to Perrotta directly. You learn to take the beatings, smile even. So, it’s just a little odd how little Hotch responded…
But that’s all nothing, you can take that how you want
Which leads us to the fateful, not everyone comment.
"You were just responding to what you learned, Vincent. When you grow up in an environment like that, an extremely abusive and violent household... it's not surprising that some people grow up to become killers"
That can’t mean NOTHING, there’s so much there but there’s something about Hotch’s subtle wording. The way he’s unconsciously slipped himself in there (a very real thing that people do) and he hasn’t even realized it. Doesn’t even know he’s done it until Perrotta pushes and he pauses, asks what Perrotta means. And the subtly of it, the way he doesn’t even mean to that says more than anything else.
“And some people grow up to catch them.”
It’s a super-specific comment to make. He can’t possibly be talking about Derek because he doesn’t even know about Carl Buford yet not to mention saying that about him would be incredibly rude if he were talking about Reid (and again, he doesn’t know about Reid’s childhood yet). So… that really only leaves him because JJ, Garcia, and Elle were not abused.
“P911”
In season two, episode two “P911” the team is hunting down a man trying to sell a young boy, Peter, on the black market. Kevin Rose is an underage boy “selling” himself on the internet while his abusive father has been in prison. I’ll let you just guess who it is that leads the team on finding out more about Kevin.
Your guess is more than likely right-- Morgan and Hotch. Now, we know about Morgan but come on. Nothing to say about it being Hotch who makes the emotional appeal?
The camera even follows his gaze, he’s crouched down (to appear non-threatening because he’s so close) and we watch his eyes take in the scars on Kevin’s chest. You can also note that while Gideon remarks that Kevin’s father was “always drunk, you never knew why he was hurting you, why he was so angry” both Kevin and Hotch look away from him.
AND FUCKING TRY AND TELL ME THE “some grow up to catch them” LINE WAS NOTHING TRY BECAUSE GUESS WHAT GIDEON SAYS? NO, NO GUESS--
Gideon: “At night you’d cry yourself to sleep hoping someone would come and save you”
And it’s HOTCH, HOTCH IS THE ONE TO SAY: “You have the chance to be the one who saves someone, Kevin. You can be the one who answers him, the one who stops his pain.”
PARALLELS PEOPLE THE PARALLELS
“Profiler, Profiled”
I bet you weren’t expecting this one, huh? But there’s something about people who faced trauma that makes it so perceptible to other traumatized people-- they sniff it out like coke to a drug hound. And, just guess, who it is that spends the majority of his time fighting with Morgan? Who knows (like I said about the bloodhound) immediately there is something Morgan’s hiding.
Hotch is angry, he’s upset that Morgan would hide anything. Mumbling about there being “larger implications” and how the team can’t have secrets. With the knowledge of exactly what that secret is it makes Gideon’s eye roll a little telling. Because it’s like they both know but neither will say. Driven home by Gideon turning the attention to Hotch, asking “would you want us profiling you?”
And again Hotch is the one to leap onto the abuse. The one to put the pieces together. Hotch’s anger makes no sense. He says he’s angry that Derek’s keeping a secret but the team has many, way too many. Over the years the team unwraps all kinds of secrets, he’s never angry then. So, it’s not about the implication of a secret at all. It’s what the secret is, like misplaced anger. Anger with himself may be leftover from his own abuse. But still…
Hotch lets Morgan escape. Knows exactly who and what Carl Buford is but all he tells the team is that “he won’t even speak about him”. He always knows how to find the abuse… like I said, a bloodhound.
George Foyet
I know you’re going to find this so fucking surprising but guess who also was abused? George Foyet was beaten by his biological father and his mother didn’t save him so he hates women (bleh, men are disgusting what’s knew).
Now, blah, blah, blah Hannah, I know you’re not about to say Foyet and Hotch are a lot alike-- no of course not. Don’t be silly. What I’m going to say is that they’re foil characters? They accent one another in an opposites sort of way. Foyet is a manipulative narcissist who doesn’t work well with others. Hotch is a guilt-ridden team leader who can’t let The Reaper’s case go. There are meant to be comparisons drawn between them. A good villain does that. George Foyet shows us that Hotch is not at all this removed, cool guy that we’ve previously assumed him to be. He cries in an alley because he blames himself when The Reaper kills a busload of people.
We see he has a rather compulsive nature. He never let The Reaper case go and has very personal ties in this case. Not even after Foyet attacks him, if anything it’s worse. He brings the case file home.
But it’s certainly interesting to see yet another “villain” with that same tragic abusive father and submissive mother come into play with Hotch. We’re nearing a point where it’s getting hard to call it coincidence (and according to David Rossi, there simply is not such thing).
Haunted.
In the second episode of the fifth season, “Haunted”, Hotch voice’s over a Dickinson quote: “One need not be a chamber to be haunted, One need not be a house; The brain has corridors surpassing. Material place.” These quotes are often cheesy, if not a little cliché, but given the premise of this episode is in exploring the ways in which a man’s traumatic childhood has left him now grappling for a truth he can not define… well, maybe we can say the writers were onto something here.
Darrin Call, debatably the Unsub of “Haunted”, was abused by an alcoholic father. We see several signs of it throughout the episode-- Darrin’s delayed speech & severe neglect that leaves Darrin in dirty, hole-riddled clothing. If what we see is not enough, the reports that the team is given on Darrin explicitly state that he was extremely physically abused. It is this abuse that leads to the PTSD that he’s diagnosed with.
As sad and disheartening as Darrin Call’s life is, overall it’s the sort of episode that is forgotten over time. When it’s placed right after the episode that viewers have to watch Hotch say goodbye to Haley and Jack then, who is Darrin Call when compared to the agony of watching Hotch show genuine weakness? After watching Hotch lay in a hospital bed, tears in his eyes wondering if his son will remember him? His fears become our own and after watching George Foyet disarm and mutilate the one guy we’ve been led to believe for five seasons is infallibly, unflinchingly never going to break… well, Darrin Call has it bad but our focus is elsewhere.
It’s on Hotch, right?
The guy who is coming back to the job after only a month (and a day) off to recover. Who Morgan worries might have PTSD but he knows they can’t easily measure because Hotch wrote the questionnaire, he knows all the right answers. Who we see has had new locks installed since the attack and has Foyet’s file sitting open on a table for easy access. Who hears Darrin Call’s life (worked the same job without promotion for years before getting fired, no wife, no kids, a hermit) and bluntly asks why Darrin hasn’t just killed himself.
And let’s just take a moment to break down that comment. Hotch, who in the episode previously lost his wife and child, wants to know why a man who is steadily starting to sound a lot like him hasn’t just killed himself.
And I don’t say “sounds a lot like him” lightly.
Darrin Call has PTSD. Hotch, more than likely, has PTSD
Here are some signs just from that episode: hostility (he yelled at Garcia over something very small), self-destructive behavior (he ran into Darrin Call’s father’s house without a vest, back-up, or telling the other’s what he was doing), and guilt (blamed himself for missing the eye twitching Darrin exhibited because of his years of antipsychotic use)
Darrin Call was abused… this marks the second HEAVILY implied time that Hotch has been compared to another man abused by his father
Vincent Perrotta was the first with that hard to forget the exchange
George Foyet and his notably exactly the same past as Perrotta
“Haunted” feels like it’s supposed to prove to the audience that Hotch is losing it. He distances himself from Morgan, leaving every room that Morgan is in. He doesn’t pick up Garcia’s calls after Darrin Call attacks his therapist. The only glimpse we see of the old Hotch is with Emily, pulled to the side, but his guilt burns and he even brushes her off. Shaking his head and turning his back to her because somehow he should have seen something no one else did.
Throw in Reid’s comment about Call “victims are often drawn to the scene of their first trauma” and we’re painfully reminded of Hotch’s apartment. A place you’d think he’d want to escape but didn’t. The man was stabbed nine times in his own apartment and stayed in that same place. Almost sounds like that statement could be applied to Hotch too.
A dash of Hotch’s own comment about where Call would go to in his confusion and he says “to what he knows”, even the importance of how that orphanage is “where he became Darrin Call”. Where does Hotch go? What does Hotch know? The job.
So… we tally now three total Unsubs that Hotch has this direct relationship with. Three Unsubs with abusive fathers and mothers who couldn’t protect them. Hmm… coincidence?
Brothers Hotchner
Supervisor Special Agent Hotchner is a master of hiding, that is undeniable. It’s hard to see anything behind those furrowed brows and impersonal suits and that’s likely for a reason. However, anyone with a little sibling can tell you that no one on this Earth can and will annoy the ever-loving shit out of you like a sibling.
But that’s not really important. Sean and Hotch don’t talk about their parents. At all. Ever.
Hotch says that when Sean was in the first grade he got sent off to boarding school. “I was the screw-up making bad choices”. Interesting enough of a statement to make but you throw in the rough ages of Sean and Hotch at that time and it’s a little more than just “interesting”. You have Hotch at roughly 14-15 getting into trouble just like Morgan did at that same age (coincidence???).
(now you can certainly look at Hotch’s parentification vs. Sean’s immaturity doubled with substance abuse problems but we’d be stretching. “The Tribe” touches on the parentification but Sean just calls it “the big brother” thing and tells Hotch that he’s not Sean’s father and it’s fine it’s whatever. Hotch is a bit pushy. That’s not new. Substance abuse can just be a problem, it doesn’t have to be bc they were abused but again… a little coincidental)
So... was Aaron Hotchner abused as a child? I certainly think so

You eyed the Mr. Freezy truck warily as you carried your garbage to the dumpster behind your apartment building. This was the third time this week you had seen it outside your place, and it was setting you on edge. There were hardly any kids in your neighborhood, so you didn’t know why it was hanging out here.
You cursed under your breath as the truck moved to the mouth of the alley, blocking your exit. You pressed your back to the wall behind the dumpster, right as a man exited into the alleyway from the bar underneath your place to smoke a cigarette.
A massive man in a white uniform stepped out of the back of the ice cream truck and walked towards the smoker, pulling on a pair of black leather gloves as he made his approach. He asked him for a cigarette before pulling a silenced pistol out of his jacket and shooting his target three times in the chest.
You schooled your breathing as you watched him drag the body to the back of his truck, trying to remain as still as possible. He stormed back into the alley to search for the shell casings, turning his back to you as he collected them.
Your legs were starting to cramp from your crouched position, and as hard as you were trying to stay still, it was getting difficult. You tried shifting your foot, but your ankle rolled in your heels and you let out a hiss. The killer straightened up suddenly at the sound, cocking his head as he turned toward you with a sneer on his face.
“Is that a little kitty I hear?” He jeered as he walked toward you, his voice thick with a Boston accent.
You stood up from your hiding place, preparing to make a run for it. He saw you tense up and lunged at you, wrapping a massive hand around your throat and pinning you against the wall, knocking the air from your lungs and cracking your skull against the bricks.
“Nice try, sweetheart, but I can’t let you go just yet.” He pressed his body against yours to pin you, his other hand brushing his stringy hair from in front of his glasses. “You have got horrible timing. To think I almost got out of here without getting a look at you, kitten.”
You just glared him as he moved his hand down from your throat to dip inside your blouse, grinning as he pawed at you as he buried his face in your shoulder, grinding his crotch into you.
“Think I’m gonna have a little fun with you before I let you go. You’re being so good and quiet.” He panted against your neck. Suddenly he stilled and drew his face up to look you in the eyes. “Why haven’t you called for help?”
He had relaxed just enough to allow you to move and you drove your knee between his legs at the same time you shoved your hand into his jacket and drew out his pistol, whipping it across his face and sending him sprawling.
“You cunt!” He spat, bloody spittle flying from the corners of his mouth as he moved to charge you again, stopping short when you pressed his gun to his temple. “Oh, you stupid little bitch.”
“I’m the stupid bitch?” You growled at him. “You wanna tell me what the fuck a Gambino hitman is doing so far outside of their territory?”
“Shit.” He hissed between his teeth as he eyed you warily. “You’re with the Genoveses?”
“That’s right.” You said, drawing back the hammer on the pistol. “Now answer my question.”
“Alright, alright!” He raised his hands in supplication, showing you his palms. “Fella in my truck has a father who owes Marks a good chunk of change, and y’know, he needed a little incentive to pay off his debt.”
“Marks gave you the ok to take out this hit? The mans getting bold.” You snorted, releasing the hammer as you pulled the gun back. “Lucky for you, I feel like leaving this to the bosses to figure out. Get the fuck out of here.” He stood up warily and reached for his gun, which you pulled back with a tut. “No, I’m gonna hold onto this for now. Maybe I’ll give it back later.”
Mr. Freezy growled as he brushed off his uniform and stalked back to his truck, grumbling under his breath the whole time. You just winked at him as he drove away, heading back up to your apartment to call this in.
❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
You saw him again 2 weeks later at a sit-down. Marks came to make amends to your boss for overstepping, hoping to find someway show his remorse for sending his man into the Family’s territory without permission. You were perched on a stool in the back of the room when the two men entered, and a small smirk teased your lips.
Lombardo liked bringing you to meetings as a distraction. Most of his comrades assumed you were there for eye candy, just the latest piece of tail the boss was wetting his dick in, too stupid to care about. But the real reason he kept you around was for protection. He loved the look of surprise that came over his enemies’ faces when you pulled out your garrot.
“Great to see you Leo!” Lombardo said warmly, moving to give the man a kiss on each cheek before sinking into his chair, gesturing for Marks to join him. “Y/N, grab us some wine sweetheart. Does your man want any?”
“No, I don’t like my men drinking while they work.”
You moved to open the wine when a massive palm wrapped around your upper arm.
“This is the bitch I told you about, boss.” The killer seethed as he wrenched you around viciously.
“The fuck are you doing, Pronge?” Marks hissed, giving you a chance to grab the corkscrew and press it to Robert’s throat. “Benny, I apologize for my man’s behavior, he’s been foaming at the mouth about some broad getting the best of him and it’s made him a little erratic.”
Lombardo just laughed as Pronge released you with a duck of his head. You kept the corkscrew where it was, watching a thin trickle of blood run down his neck.
“Let him go, Y/N.” He said with a wave of his hand, and you moved to open the wine, pouring two glasses and bringing them over to the seated men. “My girl has a tendency to elicit that type of reaction. It’s one of the reasons I keep her around!” He gave you a pat on the ass as you headed back to your stool, your eyes trained on Robert Pronge.
He was glowering at you maliciously as he leaned against the wall, his arms crossed over his chest and his forearms flexing as he clenched his fists. You heard him growl from deep in his chest when you gave him a conspiratorial wink.
“You see my problem Leo, we can’t have Gambinos moving through our territory with impunity, as much as we can sympathize with the need to collect a debt. Fortunately for you, the boss is still soft on you fellas, so we’ve come up with a solution I think will work for everyone.”
“Ah, Benny, I can’t tell you how happy that makes me! Of course, whatever you need.”
“Excellent! We’ve got a little problem with one of Big Mike’s nephews. The kids an idiot and has been making some waves that are making it increasingly difficult to manage our operations, I’m sure you know the type.”
“There’s one in every family.” Marks said with a shake of his head.
“That there is. Anyways, Funzi wants us to deal with the kid under the radar. I’d normally send in Y/N on her own to take care of it, but as great as she is, the kid is surrounded by morons all the time. We also have a disposal problem. Funzi wants to make it seem like the kid ran off with some bitch, hopefully avoid a war, and we’ve heard that your man Pronge here is a disposal expert.”
“Oh, fuck no!” Pronge exclaimed. “I’m not working with this cunt!”
“You’ll do what I order you to do, or I’ll fucking end you, now shut the fuck up!” Marks roared at Robert, making him wince as he leaned back against the wall. “He’ll do it.”
“Glad to hear it.” Benny murmured, his nostrils flaring in anger as he gave you the signal to relax. “Let’s drink to our friendship while we let these two hash out the details.”
You stood up from your stool with a deep sigh as you moved towards your new partner. The man looked like he wanted to murder you, and you just gave him a wicked grin. He seemed to relax as you went over the plan with him, not really offering any notes, just grunting in acknowledgement as his eyes roamed over your body. You managed to come to a grudging agreement and made plans to meet in two days to carry everything out.
❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
You had been waiting outside the club for 10 minutes when Pronge finally parked his sedan across the street. He leered as he walked towards you, eyes drinking you in. You looked extremely different than the last time he saw you, relaxed in a flowing dress that stopped mid-thigh and plunged almost all the way down to your navel.
“You always dress like a whore on the job?” He grumbled as the two of you headed to the entrance.
“Sure. You always dress like a clown?” You asked, wincing at the painful pattern on his shirt.
“Fucking bitch.” He muttered under his breath, not quite low enough that you couldn’t hear him.
“That’s right.” You said, your eyes roaming around the club as you looked for your man. “There he is.”
There was a group of young men in a booth at the back. The leader bent to snort a line of coke off the table before screaming for more drinks.
“What a fucking moron.” Pronge said from directly behind you. You could feel the suffocating heat of his body against your back as you stretched your neck. You sensed his eyes boring into you, searing over your bare flesh.
“Wait for my signal.” You muttered as you moved towards the dance floor, winding your way through the crowd smoothly until you positioned yourself in front of the mark’s table.
Pronge moved around the edge of the dancefloor as he kept an eye on you, you even danced like a slut. Your eyes were fixed on the mark as you gyrated to the music. It didn’t take long for the idiot to notice you. Your hands wandered all over your body as you swayed drunkenly, tracing the curves of your breasts and running over your neck languidly before dropping to your hips and teasing the hem of your skirt higher on your thighs.
He felt his dick starting to get hard as he watched you move, fighting the urge to pull you into an alley and fuck you until you couldn’t talk. His bitch wife had been refusing to put out for months, but ever since he first saw you in that alley, you’re all he could think about. He just wanted to shove his cock in that smart mouth of yours and shut you up for good. He had dreams about wrapping his hands around your throat as he ruined your pussy, marking your tits with his teeth as he split you open.
Fuck, he was so hard it hurt. He did his best to school his thoughts as he watched the mark move to join you. He felt himself tense as he watched the moron slot himself behind you and grind against your ass. His hands roamed over your torso until he was cupping your breasts, squeezing them softly as you dropped your head back against his shoulder with a moan, arching into his grasp.
Robert lost his patience and stormed towards the bathroom, slamming the door open as he strode inside. His did his best to control his breathing as he checked the stalls for occupants. He heard your laugh coming from the corridor and he scrambled to conceal himself, perching on top of a toilet and closing the stall door as you entered the bathroom.
You were giggling breathlessly as the idiot mouthed at your neck. He ripped the sleeves of your dress down your arms until your tits were exposed, and you sighed as your nipples pebbled in the air. Your mark bent to run his mouth over your chest sloppily as he fumbled with his belt.
Pronge lowered himself to the floor gingerly, splaying his palm on the stall door and pushing it open slowly. Your eyes shot open and did your best to swallow a hiss. Something must have tipped off the mark, because he straightened suddenly and turned around.
You growled at Robert and wrapped your arms around the mark’s neck before he had a chance to raise the alarm, squeezing hard enough that his oxygen was cut off. Your eyes bored into his as you choked the man, bringing him to his knees as you crouched behind him, your body curled tightly around his. Pronge’s cock was pressing painfully against the front of his pants as he watched you work. Your dress gathered around your waist and your makeup smeared all over your face as the muscles in your arms strained with the effort of strangling the man.
He finally stopped fighting you, and you moved to grip his head at crown and chin before wrenching your arms in two different directions, snapping his neck. You dropped the body to the floor and stood slowly to glare at Pronge, your nostrils flaring.
“You’re supposed to be in the alley.” You seethed as you pulled your dress back over your shoulders, moving to check the hall for any alarm.
“You moved faster than I was expecting.” He hissed, climbing one of the toilets to open the small window to the alley. He gripped a pipe running over the ceiling and lifted himself up enough to shove his legs through. He moved his hands to brace against the sill as he slid through the narrow opening, his broad shoulders just barely able to fit through the frame. He dropped into the alley and looked around, ensuring there were no witnesses.
It was only a few seconds before you were shoving the body through the window for Pronge to catch. He couldn’t deny he was impressed. You were stronger than you looked to be able to lift all that dead weight through a window 8 feet off the ground. He caught it easily and hauled it to the Mr. Freezy truck, shoving it in the back before moving back to the window.
He came back to find you with your legs dangling from the window as you slid through. You dropped softly on the balls of your feet, being careful not to roll your ankles as you landed in your stilettos.
Robert was leering as you strutted past him, your hips swaying suggestively as you made your way to the truck, wrenching open the doors and stepping inside. He climbed into the driver’s seat and started the engine, pulling out slowly as you worked to wrap the body in plastic sheeting.
The two of you reached the warehouse in a little under an hour. Robert backed the truck into the loading bay and threw it in park before moving around to open the dock doors. He opened the back doors of the truck and tossed the body over his shoulder as you stepped out.
“Just head straight through.” He instructed you. You gave him a nod over your shoulder as you headed in. He grinned wickedly to himself as he watched your ass swinging back and forth in those heels, moving to follow you.
You found the old slaughterhouse easily and lowered a hook over the drain in the floor as he came to stand behind you, close enough that he had you on edge.
Once the hook was low enough, you moved forward in tandem. You ripped the plastic sheeting off the body as Pronge moved to wrap the hook and chain around the ankles. Once everything was secure, you stepped back to raise the chain.
Robert was still watching like a hawk. You did your best to ignore his eyes on you as you stood with one hip cocked, one heel tapping impatiently on the slanted floor.
Once it was at the required height, you stepped forward to drain the body without an ounce of hesitation, pulling a hunting knife out of your bag.
He growled from deep in his chest as he watched you work, leaned against the railing surrounding the killing floor, his cock starting to harden again as you stepped back, wiping your blade on a handkerchief.
“Almost forgot, Pronge.” You said, digging your hand in your purse and pulling out a pistol. You grinned at the panic on his face before flipping the gun in your hand so the grip was pointed at him. “This is yours.”
He took it from you warily and shoved it into the waist of his slacks, eyes still boring into you as he ran his tongue over his bottom lip.
“We’ve got some time to kill sweetheart.” He murmured as you moved to walk past him, heading back towards the loading bay.
Just like that he was on you, one giant hand wrapping around your throat as he slammed you against the wall, your head cracking against the concrete and your teeth snapping together painfully. You brought your knife up whip fast and pressed it to his throat at the same time he drew the gun from his waistband and pressed it to your abdomen.
“You’re just turning me on even more, kitten.” He leered at you, slipping the gun down the curve of your hip and drawing the hem of your skirt up your thigh with the barrel. He brushed the edge of his hand against your panties, groaning at how soaked you were.
He brought his other hand down and shredded the thin fabric easily, tucking the ruins in his back pocket before digging his fingers into your hip, gripping you hard enough to draw bruises. He sneered at you as he slipped the gun between your legs, running the barrel between your folds and teasing it against your clit, making you arch into him with a hiss.
“God, what a fucking slut you are.” He chuckled as he slipped the cool metal over your sex, your arousal soaking the steel as you writhed against it. “Acting so stuck up, and here this cunt is begging for me. Maybe I should fuck you with my gun, would you like that?”
He pressed the tip of the barrel against your entrance and you spat in his face, pressing the knife further into his neck and giving a mock sound of sympathy as a drop of blood welled at the tip.
“Just keep doing what you’re doing, fucker.” You ordered him, grinding yourself into the steel as another round of arousal seeped from your pussy as it clenched around nothing.
“Oho, you bitch. I’m gonna fucking ruin you.” He growled menacingly at you as you slipped your hand under the buttons of his shirt, popping them open one at a time at an agonizing pace as you kept your blade trained on his jugular.
“Promises, promises.” You tutted, the coil in your abdomen growing tighter and tighter as you dug your nails into Robert’s chest, drawing a moan from deep in his throat.
He pressed the gun against your clit violently and grinned as you fell apart. Your legs trembled as you release gushed over the now-warm steel. You bit your lip as you gave a low moan, your cunt fluttering as came down from your high.
“That’s right, whore.” He withdrew the gun from between your legs and brought it up to his face, running his tongue over the barrel and moaning at the taste of you. He tossed the weapon aside carelessly before bringing his hands up to wrench the sleeves of your dress over your shoulders, until it was pooled around your ankles.
“Just fucking look at that.” He murmured as his eyes raked over you. “No wonder the Genoveses keep you a secret.”
He brought one hand to dig painfully into your breast as his other slipped between your thighs. You removed the knife from his neck before slashing it across his chest in a quick motion, making him hiss as you ducked your head to drag your tongue over the wound, moaning as the metallic taste of his blood hit your tongue.
His backhand sent your sprawling, your teeth cutting the inside of your cheek as the knife flew out of your hand. You laughed darkly as you straightened back up, spitting the blood out of your mouth as you watched him strip off his clothes.
“I’m gonna split you open and break you apart, cunt.” He spat as he stalked towards you. His body had an air of menace about it, thick corded muscles stretched over his frame that was covered in scars. “And you’re gonna fucking thank me.”
You groaned as he pounced on you, his mouth moving to trace your breasts hungrily as his fingers dug into the small of your back. You sucked in a harsh breath and wrapped your fingers in his hair painfully as you felt him sink his teeth into you and he moaned into your soft flesh. He moved his teeth over your tits in a vicious trail, marking you with them.
“Fuck.” You hissed as a particularly deep bite had him drawing blood.
He wrenched himself up to glare at you and wrapped his hand around your throat tight enough that it was cutting off your oxygen.
“I don’t wanna hear another word out of that mouth of yours.” He growled, pressing you against the wall again. “I’d shut you up with my cock, but I wanna wreck that hole between your legs first.”
He slapped his swollen tip against your pussy once before spearing into you. He grinned wolfishly as he felt your throat vibrating under his hand and he bent to scrape his teeth over your jaw.
“God, this whore pussy is so fucking tight.” He growled into your ear. “You’re squeezing me so hard, you gonna cum already?”
He felt you stiffen for a beat and then you were quivering around him, a thin whine escaping from your tightened throat as you raked your fingers down the muscles of his back, drawing deep gauges with your nails.
He slammed your head against the wall hard enough to draw blood as your release seeped over his cock, leaking down the inside of your thighs as you fought the urge to pass out.
Robert released you suddenly, his hand leaving your throat as he pulled out. You only had a second to suck in a breath as he spun you around, tilting your hips just a bit before slamming into you again. You pressed your cheek against the wall as he plunged into you brutally.
You let out a series of small whimpers as he pinched your nipples harshly, tugging at them and pulling your tits away from your body. You fought the urge to yelp when he slapped them, making your pussy clamp down on his cock as he fucked into you.
“What a good little slut you are.” He hissed in against your hair, smearing his face through the blood seeping from your head wound. “Yeah, you love the feel of my big fucking cock inside you?”
The only answer you could give was a low moan, followed by a gasp as he wrapped a hand around to pinch your clit.
“That’s right bitch, cream all over me. God you’re fucking cock drunk, aren’t you?”
You just whined as he tweaked your clit one more time and you came apart, your legs giving out. Robert wrapped a hand around your thigh and drew it up to pin against your waist as your body quivered against him, your pussy milking his cock as your eyes rolled back in your head.
“Fuck.” He whispered as his cock twitched inside you and he sank his teeth into your shoulder as he came, blood welling into his mouth as you cried wordlessly and he shot his seed into you, coating your canal in thick hot ropes that seeped out over your thighs.
He kept fucking you through it until he started to soften, then shoved you against the wall violently, pulling away and spitting your blood out of his mouth.
He watched you closely as you turned around, doing his best to keep from hardening again as he looked at you. Your hips and thighs were covered in bruises that were sure to darken even more over the next few days. There was the trace of his hand over your neck that you were absentmindedly running your fingers over. The side of your face where he had slapped you was starting to swell, a shallow cut running along your cheekbone. Blood was leaking from the corner of your mouth and your chest was covered in angry bite marks, some of them bleeding.
You wiped your hand across your face as you stared back at him, wincing. He didn’t look any better. His chest was covered in deep scratches and claw marks, smeared with blood from the cut on his chest. A thin red trail was running down his neck from the shallow prick you had made under his chin. His face was smeared with your blood from where he had buried himself in your hair, and when he turned to collect his clothes, you admired the deep gauges you’d made in his back.
“That was something.” You murmured, catching your dress in mid-air as he tossed it at you. You flicked your head towards where the body was suspended and gave a deep sigh. “Where’s your bonesaw?”

MASTERLIST
 ---------------------------------------------------------------
You needed more concealer or the only way you’d be going out in public would be with turtlenecks. Andy loved to leave marks on your neck and the rest of the body, and he hated you covering them up. The moment you would come back, the first thing he does is drag you to the bathroom to wipe the makeup off and bare your bruises to his eyes. They were marks of his ownership over you, and they reminded you both of the truth: You belonged to him.
Your life took a turn nearly a year ago when your brother was accused of third-degree murder of his colleague. The case was pretty much a public trial and the scandal rocked your world. Not only did your brother get arrested, but you lost your job too by means of association. You knew your brother was innocent, he would never hurt a fly let alone a human being. But try as you might, you couldn’t get a lawyer to represent him. That’s when Andrew Barber stepped into your life.
Having left prosecution and taking up defense cases, Andy and you met in the police station where you had gone for some information. You were filling a form talking to an aid, the only one who seemed to sympathize with you when Andy walked in. The lady had pointed at him and said, “If anyone could have won a case like yours, it would be him. As an ADA, Andrew Barber never lost a case and he carried that record as a defense lawyer too. But he’s very selective in his cases and well…expensive too”.
You had looked up and followed her gaze and words, a tiny spark of hope lighting in you. After you had hastily filled your form, you waited outside the station hoping you could catch Andy leaving and plead your case to him. When he came out, you waited until he reached his car to approach him.
“Excuse me, Mr. Barber?”, You said, twisting your fingers in the hem of your shirt. He turned to look at you in question.
“Yes?”
“Uh, my name is Y/n Y/l/n.” You said and Andy’s eye flashed with recognition of your last name.
“How can I help you Miss Y/l/n?” His voice had a tinge of pity because he knew what you were going through. He’d been through it himself and lost everything in that battle.
“I’m sure you’ve heard of my brother’s case Mr. Barber. I need all the help I can get. He’s innocent. I know he is innocent! Would you please help me?” You were ready to leave your dignity and kneel in front of him if you had to. Your brother was your whole world and you were ready to sacrifice everything for him.
Andy sighed. He looked at you silently before reaching into his pocket and handing you his card.
“Make an appointment for tomorrow, okay? I’ll see what I can do, but no promises. Bring all the files you have on the case and anything else that you think might be of help.”
You’d arrived at the appointment ladened with a huge box of papers. You were surprised when you were told to meet Andy at his house and not his office, but you saw no reason to complain. His house was huge and cozy, but recent changes were visible. Empty bolts on the wall showed recently removed pictures and you quickly recalled the story about the Barber’s scandal you’d read on the net last night. It was a nasty business and you knew deep in your bones that Andy could help you and your brother because he had personal experience with something like this.
“Would you like a drink?”, Andy asked you, taking a seat across from you in his kitchen.
“Just some water please”, You answered, nervously looking at him. He had forgone his business formal inside his home and was wearing a button up with dark jeans. He handed you a glass of water and then motioned to the files in front of you.
“May I?” He asked and you nodded, sliding them over to him and sipped your water.
Andy looked over the papers for quite a long time, his brow furrows. He took out a small notepad and scribbled something on it between his reading, one finger tracing his beard. You looked at him anxiously, trying to decipher his reaction. If you could convince him to take the case, then all hope was not lost for your brother.
After going home last night you had read everything you could about Andrew Barber, and pity had swelled in your heart for him like an ocean. This brave man had lost more than his good name in the society. His ex-wife Laurie was in prison in the attempted murder of their 15-year-old son Jacob, who was still recovering from the injuries inflicted to him by his mother. How Andy could still manage a normal life with work was a wonder. He was only in his 30s to have gone through something so traumatic and you hoped that once this case was over, you could rise from the ashes like him.
After taking a good look at the papers, Andy finally put them down and leaned back on his chair, folding his arms against his chest. You looked at him nervously, chewing on your lip as you waited for him to speak. His gaze lingered for a moment on your lips before meeting your eyes.
“May I please call you Y/n?” He asked and you nodded. “Y/n, I wouldn’t say that this is an easy case. You know it isn’t. Evidence is heavily stacked against your brother.”
“But?”
“But it’s not completely hopeless either. There are loopholes, a lot of them in fact. A lot of evidence is mostly circumstantial, and if we can find some experts to recreate the murder scene digitally, we might be able to prove that your brother is innocent. The stab wound is near the heart, a difficult place to lodge the knife in since you need to get through the rib cage. The murder weapon was quite deep inside the body, meaning a lot of force has been used. I’ve seen your brother’s pictures and just read his reports.” Andy smiled a little. “He certainly doesn’t look like someone strong enough to make this kill wound, especially since there are signs of struggle which would make it even more difficult.”
You looked at him with your mouth parted, eyes wide and hoping. Your heart was beating widely in your chest and you wet your lips before speaking.
“So, there is a chance he will get off?”, You asked.
“I think if we play the right strategy and work things out, there is a chance he might get off.”
You almost lunged across the table and hugged the man. Unbidden, tears stinged your eyes and you sniffled, trying to keep them from rolling down your cheeks. Andy got up and walked around to your side before handing you a tissue. You dabbed your eyes and looked at him with gratitude in your eyes.
“Thank you. Thank you so much.”, you sobbed. He patted your back until you calmed down and then sat down beside you. It was only then that another thought hit you. Lawyers like Andy Barber didn’t come cheap. You were so focused on helping your brother you had no idea how you’d pay what you were sure would be thousands of dollars to him.
“Mr. Barber, about the-” You started to say but he cut you off by raising a hand.
“Call me Andy, we’ll be spending lot of time together solving this one. And about payment, don’t worry. I know how difficult a position you are in right now. We can talk money later, after things are a little more sorted.” His words were soft, and you immediately protested.
“I can’t do that. I can’t take advantage of your kindness like that. I’ll write you a cheque, though the next one may take a while. Please, I’ll get the money.” Now that there was a chance to get your brother out, you’ll do anything. You’ll take another job, sell your crappy apartment and car too if you had to. Anything to get your baby brother back under your roof, safe and sound.
“Please Y/n, I insist. We can talk payments later. Right now, we should focus on your brother.” You looked at Andy and murmured a small thanks and he asked you what you’d like for lunch so you can discuss the case over it.
And so, it went. Almost every day after work, you sped down to Andy’s house straight and talked over the case. The scheduled visit with your brother went well and Andy was sure the experts he had hired could give conclusive evidence to how your brother’s body type didn’t match that of the murderer. Over the next few weeks, you became consumed in this battle for justice, and every second of the day you thanked your lucky stars for Andy who became your rock. He always knew just the right thing to say, and more often he was like a friend who heard you out. When things got too difficult and you felt like you were being crushed under the pressure, he would comfort you by ways of a hot mug of coco.
The case progressed smoothly and by the time Andy made the closing arguments, you were sure your brother will be coming home with you. Everyone was right, Andrew Barber was a court room wizard and you saw him in action. The night that your brother came back, you invited Andy and Jacob to dinner. You saw Jacob frequently when you were at the Barber’s and you got along with him nicely. It hurt you to know that a boy so young had to deal with so much in his life, but he still smiled and went on with his life.
Throughout the dinner, your brother thanked Andy incessantly, almost bowing down. There was laughter under your roof the likes of which you didn’t know would ever come back. After eating, your brother and Jacob departed to play some video games and you held Andy back.
“Can we talk?”, you asked him and motioned him away from the living room to the small room you used as a study. He nodded and followed you, closing the door behind you.
“Everything okay?” He asked
“Andy, I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for me. You’ve been so kind and nice to me I feel completely indebted to you. I know you’ve been skirting around the money issue, but please, you need to let me pay you.” It was true. Anytime you brought up the topic of his payment he had changed the subject. You thought it had to do with the fact that your relationship was more than just attorney-client and more like friends and it made him uncomfortable to take money from you.
“I don’t want your money, Y/n”, Andy said firmly.
“Why the hell not? I don’t want your charity Andy. You’re my friend, and you helped me get back everything I thought I would lose. I don’t think I can ever repay you for your kindness, and money is the least I can do. Please”
Andy looked at you for moment before moving to stand right in front of you.
“I don’t want your money.” He repeated. “But you can repay me a different way.”
You looked at him speechlessly, not following. He raised a hand and gently moved a strand of your hair behind your ears.
“Andy…” You whispered.
“I don’t want your money. I want you.” He said and placed his hands on your waist, bringing you closer. Your heart beat a furious rhythm against your chest, and you forgot how to breath for a moment.
“I – what? I don’t understand” You said, trying to move away from him but he would let up. His hands tightened around you and kept you in place.
“I want you. I want you to be mine.” He said and your eyes widened. You pushed against his chest, needing to create some distance between you. You had not seen this coming. Never had you felt any untoward advances from him, he never touched you wrong. Hell, he didn’t even hug you for an unnecessary amount of time. Your relationship was the very definition of platonic. At least, that’s what you thought.
“Andy, what’s wrong with you. I thought we were friends. Please, let me go.” You said and surprisingly he released you and walked back a couple steps.
“We are friends, but I want more than that. I have wanted that for months, but I didn’t say because you had enough on your plate. I don’t want you going back to your house at night when you visit me. I want you under my roof, inside my bed and under me. Look how good you’re with Jacob too. We will be great together.”
You gaped at him and stumbled to a chair and sat down.
“I will not be your personal whore, Andy Barber!” You sneered at him and he started, shaking his head. He came and knelt before your feet, taking your hands in his.
“That’s not what I said at all. I would never do that to you.” He vehemently disagreed. “I want someone to love and cherish, I want a family. I know you can give it to me.”
You tried to jerk your hands out of his, but he held them fast.
“I’m sorry about how this is going. I wasn’t planning on talking about this tonight. But you forced my hand. I want you Y/n, and I will have you. Even if I had asked you out, I know you would have said no because you want to work and provide for your brother. Isn’t that true?” He asked.
He was right. You didn’t plan on dating anyone, anytime soon. You had to focus on your career and there was no place for a man in your life no matter how nice he was.
“You said I gave you back your life. You said you want to repay me. This is what I want. You.” He pressed a kiss on your hands and looked intently in your eyes.
“And what if that’s something I don’t want?” You asked.
Andy’s eyes darkened and he glared at you. He had spent months working tirelessly on your brother’s case and been nothing but a gentleman. He didn’t see any reason why you shouldn’t want him.
“In that case, I’ll make you want me.” He said. “I will never do anything to hurt you, trust me. But I can create situations where the only person who can help you will be me. You’ll run right back into my arms. I – I don’t want to do anything bad. I just want you. Be mine.”
He didn’t say it explicitly, but you got his meaning loud and clear. He’s an influential person, he could do any number of things to force your hand. He had been kind to you till now, but if you gave him reason to be cruel, he will be. This man could very well take away everything he gave you and you both knew that.
Later that night after Andy and Jacob left, you told your brother you want to move in with Andy. He was shocked by the suddenness of the news and you fed him some cock and bull story about falling for each other during the trial and not wanting to keep it a secret now that he was out of prison. Your brother was happy for you, telling you that he’s glad you’ve found someone like Andy who would always protect you. You agreed, Andy would always protect you from the world. But there was no one who could protect you from him.
A week later you moved into Andy’s house. Jacob greeted you at the door and took your stuff inside, apologizing that he couldn’t stay long as he’s spending the weekend at a friend’s. Your heart sank at the thought of being alone with Andy for the next two days. You hadn’t spoken much since he all but forced you to into living with him. You saw Andy in the kitchen, setting up the table and wiping the counters. He painted an utterly domestic figure, walking barefoot in his sweats and T-shirt. Seeing you arrive he smiled and moved closer to kiss your cheek and hug you.
“Welcome home, sweetheart”, He whispered in your ear, holding you close and pressing his forehead to yours. Your hands lay limp at your side and you tried to give a small smile and not push back. You heard an awkward cough from behind you and realized Jacob was fake gagging and giving his father a cheeky grin.
“Can you two like, not do this when I’m here?”, He teased and earned a playful swat from his father.
“You get out of here and don’t cause too much trouble.”, Andy said, and Jacob gave a thumbs up and wink to you both and hurried out. You heard the door shut and your hands became sweaty now that you were alone with Andy after a week. No sooner had Jacob departed that Andy’s hands cupped your face and he pressed a searing kiss on your lips. He put a hand behind your head and coaxed your mouth open, deepening the kiss and moaning. You put your hands around his wrists, closing your eyes.
“Come on, kiss me back like a good honey.” Andy said and you forced yourself to respond. His kisses were like molten fire, all passion and heat that lay over you like a warm blanket. Pulling away, Andy kissed your forehead and eyelids and then just looked at you. His eyes were blown wide and dark, his lips red and moist. You gulped as he kept his eyes on you, drinking in your sight in his arms. He hadn’t touched you that night at your place. Didn’t even kiss you. But now that you were here all alone with him, under his roof…you suppressed a shudder.
“I’m so glad you’re finally here. Come, dinner’s ready.” He led you over to the table and pulled out a chair for you. He sat beside you and filled your plate with your favorite dishes. You thanked him, eating quietly, and wondering what would happen to you tonight. Going by the way Andy’s hand was creeping up on your thigh, you knew you were in for a long night. Andy talked throughout dinner about his day and cranky clients. He shared things like a husband would to his wife and you resisted the urge to bolt out of his house. You made small noises of acknowledgment, too nervous to actually speak. There was much you wanted to ask about how things will progress from now.
“I’ve emptied one side of the closet. You can unpack tomorrow and then we can go shopping for whatever else you might need. We’ll ask Jake to click some pictures to hang around too. The walls are so bare now. Maybe a family portrait in the hall above?”
Your fork clattered to your plate as you heard him talk and you stared at him in disbelief. You’d been hear barely an hour and he was planning your life in a way that gave you chills. With every word he spoke, every plan he had, you felt like he added another bar to your prison.
“Andy, I think I should stay in another room.”, You said softly, and Andy frowned.
“Like hell you’ll stay in another room. You’ll stay with me, sleep in my bed right in my arms. You’re mine now, I think I made it very clear?”
You bit your lip and nervously played with your fingers, trying not to anger him.
“What about Jacob? Would he like it, me staying in your room? I mean, his mother lived there not too long ago and...” You stopped when Andy grabbed your chin and turned your head to meet his eyes.
“You just saw Jake. Did you see any hesitance in him when he welcomed you in? I’d already spoken to him anyway. He has no love for the woman who almost pushed him through death’s door. He likes you and he’s happy for me.”
You nodded and finished the rest of your dinner in silence. You offered to do the dishes, but Andy asked you to relax and see about the place while he tidied up. You wandered up the stairs, a part of house you had not been to before. You opened the first door on the left and found a messy room with a big screen and video games. Closing the door, you ventured forward and opened the door towards the end. This would most probably be your room. The bed was huge, and you moved inside to explore. There was an attached bathroom and a massive walk in closet where you could see Andy had cleared space for you. You sat on the bed and opened the first drawer in the bedside cabinet, finding medicine and phone charger. Opening the second, you found it scattered with stationary and other bits and bots. However, what caught your eye was the box of condom tucked in the back. You took it out and gulped in fear.
“I didn’t think you’d want a baby just right now.”, Andy said from the doorway, startling you. You turned to him and set the box down, moving backward subconsciously as he came towards you and shut the door behind him. He stood in front of you and cupped your jaw, stroking gently.
“You’re so beautiful, every time I look at you my heart stops.”, He whispered, then he bent down and kissed you deeply, his tongue in your mouth and hands roaming your sides. You gasped, your own hands fisting his t-shirt. Holding you around the waist, Andy pushed you back in the middle of the bed, climbing over you and starting to unbutton your shirt. You quickly held his hands, trembling slightly. He looked at you with that dark look in his eyes and you slowly retracted your hands and allowed him to strip you of your shirt. He sucked in a breath, pure worship in his eyes as he took in your shirtless body and reached behind you to unclasp your bra. His hands glided over your collarbones and breasts, gentle in their exploring and squeezed. You moaned despite yourself. You didn’t expect him to be this good to you. You thought he would ravish you like an animal in heat.
Andy kissed you then, one hand on your hip, the other beside your head holding his weight. You responded without really meaning to, getting lost in the heat of him. His smell smothered you until you could taste it on your tongue, and you let out a groan of pure satisfaction as he sucked a hickey into the juncture of your neck. Leaving a searing line of fire with his lips, he whispered in your ear.
“I will bath your body with my tongue until I own each and every part of you. I will mark you as mine and claim you completely. When this night is over, you will crave me with a frenzy that only my touch can quench. I’ll not just make you want me; I’ll make you thirst for me. You’ll beg me to touch you, to mark you and to fill you up.”
His words were a promise and you clenched your thighs in anticipation. That night, he proceeded to take you as his. His laved your body with his tongue, suckling, biting, and leaving marks. Your nipples were wet and sore from his attention, your core drenched and dripping. He made you cum first with his mouth, slurping on you, making you tremble and shout. Then he stretched you around his fingers, moaning dirty fantasies into your mouth while you shook under him. You remember him impaling you on his cock, remember feeling every vein of him even through the condom, you felt him stretching you wider than ever before and you cuming hard enough to see stars. He claimed your body in ways you didn’t think was possible, and you woke up the next day with bruises on parts you didn’t even know could bruise.
Your life with Andy was not unpleasant as such, but it was a golden cage. He got you what you wanted, he never stopped you from working or force you into something you didn’t want to do. You told him you didn’t want to try anal sex and he never pushed for it. You told him you missed your study and he converted a room into a library for you. In all aspects, he was the dream guy any woman could want. Only, you never had the option to make this choice. It was thrust upon you and you had to live it no matter what.
The only thing Andy insisted on was your loyalty and time. He told you in no uncertain terms that if he so much as smelled another man’s cologne on you, he’ll tie you up and edge you until you remembered who you belonged to. You didn’t think he was serious until one night Andy lost his cool after watching you hug a colleague who dropped you home. You ended up tied spread eagle on the bed, crying tears of frustration as he edged you with his mouth and a vibrator for hours. It wasn’t until you sobbed out, “I’m yours!” that he let you cum. The other thing he wanted was your time. He never interrupted your work, but if you’re home, he is the only thing that should be on your mind. He kept you close, always an arm on your waist or you in his lap. His possessiveness knew no bounds and Jacob often joked that he’d need a sawing machine to separate you.
You couldn’t say you hated Andy because you didn’t. Even when he had first forced you into a relationship, you didn’t hate him. He’d been a good friend to you and a great support. He had done too much for you to ever hate him, as you were reminded every time you saw your brother. But you couldn’t say you loved him either. The very fact that if you had a choice you wouldn’t be here gnawed at you. While you laughed with Andy when you saw movies or sighed in pleasure when he put those hands on you, you couldn’t bring yourself to love him. You cared for him, you loved to wake up with his face between your thighs or with your face between his. You loved it when you sat as a family to play scrabble and you and Jake teamed up to beat Andy. You loved it when he tickled you into submission or when you gave him a massage after a tough day at work. But you didn’t love him.
So, it was with trepidation that you looked at the ring you found in his underwear drawer. Settled into a small velvet box, it was a silver band with diamonds lining it. Your hand shook slightly, wondering what you’ll do once he asks you the question you’d been dreading for months now. Did you even have the choice to say no? Did you want to say no? You put the box back where you’d found it and went through your day acting like nothing happened. The next few days you lived in anticipation, wondering every time Andy went into the closet if this would be it. But the ring stayed where it was and with each passing day you became as annoyed as you became relieved.
“Come here, sweetheart”, he said to you one night, holding out his hand and pulling you in his lap on the bed. You snuggled against his chest, you head on his shoulder and arms around him. He stroked your back, placing a kiss on your head as he rocked you slowly.
“Do you want to go back to your brother’s house?” He asked softly and you pulled away to look at him with puzzled eyes.
“What?”
“If you want, you can go back to living with him.”
Your heart started pounding in your chest, breath coming out in stuttered gasps. You didn’t know why but tears filled your eyes as you looked at him in utter disbelief.
“You want me to go away?” Your voice was small, broken like that of a kicked puppy. Andy pulled you tight into himself, holding you close while he cooed at you and shushed.
“No, no baby. I never want you to go away. I just feel like you want to go away.” He said and you buried your head in his neck, not understanding why you weren’t leaping across the room and packing your stuff. This is what you always wanted, your freedom. And now when it was being put on a platter for you, you clung to your prison and your captor.
“I – I don’t know what I want”, you sobbed helplessly, and Andy held you as you cried. He patted your head and pulled your face up to look into your eyes.
“While I am deranged enough to keep you with me like this, even I won’t force you into a marriage. I know you saw the ring, and I know you’ve been withdrawn ever since. I love you, more than anything in the world. You know that, and I’m pretty sure everyone who sees us knows that. Which is exactly why I am willing to set you free. I may be a bad person, but I won’t be a monster. I am giving you the choice you have always wanted. You can go if you want, I won’t stop you. I will not hold anything over you. I want you to be happy, and if that is away from here, away from me, so be it. I won’t be the person holding your happiness at bay.” He said.
You remained silent and after a while Andy set you down on the bed and got up.
“Think about it, it is your choice this time.” He kissed your head and left the room. That was the first night in over a year you’d spent alone, and you cried yourself into a restless sleep, reaching out for the warm body not there. You woke up with eyes sealed shut by dried tears and your whole body aching. The sun was high in the sky meaning you slept well past noon. You walked downstairs into the kitchen, looking around for Andy. You needed to see him, touch him. You needed assurance that he was still there and hadn’t left you. You found Jacob working on his assignment and joined him at the table.
“Good afternoon”, he teased with a smile. Then he looked at your face and cringed. “Jeez, you look sick. Can I get you something? You want me to call dad?”
“I’m fine, just tired. Where is Andy?”, you asked with a raspy voice and gratefully accepted water from Jacob.
“He left early, I think. Left a note on the fridge saying he’ll be back later.” Seeing your face fall, Jacob got up and patted your arm. “You sit here while I get you some coffee. You look like you really need it.”
You nodded and tried not to sniffle. Here was a boy who felt like your own son despite you being not that much older to him. You had a family right here, even if you hadn’t asked for it this way. You held your head in your hands, confused.
Jacob got you coffee and some snacks to munch on. He kept looking at you out of the corner of his eyes, pretending to work. You put down your mug after a few silent minutes and asked him if something was wrong.
“Did you reject dad?” He asked you after hesitating. You gaped at him in shock.
“What? I – No. Why would you say that?”
Jacob turned red stuttered. “Its just…dad showed me the ring. I thought he asked you and well, you’re in such a state and he left early which he has never done since you got here, I thought you said no.” You looked down in your lap, wanting to go upstairs and cry in your pillow.
“Hey, I am so sorry. I just – please don’t say no because of me.” Jacob said earnestly. “I am okay with your relationship. More than okay, in fact. After mom, well, I thought I would never see dad smile again. And then he met you and he started cooking and humming songs again. Then once you moved in…it felt like life had gone back to normal. He became better than before. Mom and he used to fight all the time, but you and he click. So please, if you are worried about me, don’t be.”
You chocked out a pathetic sob and hugged a bewildered Jacob who tried his best to console you. You almost laughed as he let out a few “there there” and “it will be okay”. He was so much like his father.
“Jacob, I think I love your father.”, you said with tears rolling down your cheeks. Jacob grinned a smug smile and breathed out a quite laugh.
“Why do you say that as a bad thing?” He asked.
“Because I don’t know how to tell your father about it” you confessed. Jacob stood up and took you with him. Placing his hands on your shoulder, he turned you around.
“I don’t think you need to tell him anymore.”
Andy stood at the entrance, looking at you both with an unreadable expression in his eyes. He moved closer while you flushed in embarrassment, looking at the floor and shuffling like a naughty child caught causing mischief.
“You, leave.” Andy ordered his son who was smiling like Christmas had come early.
“As if I’d stay for what’s about to happen. I quite like the innocence of my eyes.” Jake joked and scampered when his father glared at him. Andy stood in front of you, looking down at you until you finally raised your head to peak at him from under your wet lashes.
“So…”, he trailed off and you almost stomped your feet once you saw the amusement in his eyes. He is going to milk this moment for all it was worth. You’d made him wait long enough for this.
“So…” You said as well.
“I take it you aren’t going back to your brother’s?”
“No”, you whispered. You wanted him to touch you, to make you his again. Spending one night away from him had driven you almost insane with loneliness. You needed him and yet he didn’t put a hand on you.
“Why not?” He asked instead, tracing his bottom lip with his finger. You squirmed as you watched his action, heat pooling between your legs at the thought of that sensual mouth.
“I – I changed my mind”
“You did, did you?”
“Yes”
“Why?”
You glared at him, making him smirk. You broke and took hold of his collar, pulling him close and brushing your lips against his.
“You know why!” You hissed, trying to kiss him harder but he resisted.
“I don’t know, I mean, is the sex that good?”
The bastard. He was teasing you here and enjoying your discomfort. To hell with everything. You should have just written it on a scrap of paper and dumped it on his lap or something. But then you looked in his eyes which were dancing in the afternoon light, his eyes which had only ever held affection for you. You pushed yourself on you toes and put your mouth against his.
“I love you”
You were in his arms then and he carried you upstairs before you realized what happened. Throwing you on the bed and locking the door, he removed his shirt and climbed over you.
“Again”, he ordered, his lips burning against your throat.
“I love you”, you cried. Your hands found their way into his hair and tugged, making him growl. Both of you tore at your clothes, mouths meeting and teeth gnashing in a desperation to get closer.
“Again”, he said, holding your naked body beneath his, his cock poised at your entrance.
“I love you”
He entered you in a smooth stroke, making you clench around him. He pulled back and looked into your eyes, thrusting slow and deep, relishing in your mewls. He made love to you and you sang the words in his mouth and ear until you both came with muffled cries.
Sweaty and laying in each other’s arms, you basked in the newfound feeling of togetherness. You knew this wasn’t how a normal person falls in love. You realized that someone else may think something was wrong with you. But it is what it is. You loved this man after everything he had done to do. You loved him and you will do your best to let him know that every chance you could.
“So, are you gonna give me that ring now?” You asked.
Andy laughed and looked at you tugged into his naked body.
“With how much you’ve made me wait, you should be the one getting down on your knees.” He joked.
You looked at him with a teasing smile and got up.
“You only had to ask”, you breathed against his mouth before moving down on his body and getting to your knees, ready to show him how much you loved him again and again.
