hi! and welcome to redacted asmr, now known as redacted audio!

redacted audio is a asmr-like channel that uses multiple character povs to tell a high quality and engaging storyline! each pov has their own "listener" which can be you or any oc you imagine!

it's pretty much a M4A boyfriend roleplay story, but with multiple bfs, and you're a different person for each character. a lot of us dont listen for that though, and stay just for the plot! (yeah...the plot mhm.../lhj)

sounds kinda cringe, yes, i know. but i promise you its worth your while. the voice acting is all done by Erik, the channel owner, and he voices dozens of characters perfectly. the plots are well thought-out and its never a dull moment. there's comfort audios and fluff mixed in with it all, and its just an amazing experience that i highly recommend! :D

Make sure you listen to the tws in the video descriptions, some of the content gets heavy.

Theres also: ivan (which partly comes up in fs2) (and then his endings which dont really matter but you can watch them for some easter eggs), camelopardalis (his videos talk about events throughout the whole prime universe story), and vega <- all of these playlists have something to do with eachother, but dont really effect the main plot and can easily be avoided

Then: avior, project meridian, (we arent sure of either of these timelines, but its side stories you can follow, and they have a bit to do with eachother)

then: ollie, aaron, geordi (these all have basically nothing to do with the main plot. They are side stories)

theres non-canon romances, which are mostly for freelancer and can be listened to for fun Id recommend not listening to the individual playlists (lasko..huxley..etc.) for freelancer because it can get confusing and all you need is in the Freelancer playlists, but its your choice!

Theres also imperium, which currently has two seasons (Imperium s1 and Cataclysm s2) and its like a “what if it was worse” au. there are a lot of trigger warnings for this one. so be careful and treat it as dead dove.

there are a handful of removed audios from that youtube policy ban-thing that happened a few months ago too, but those can be found for free on the redacted audio patreon! only a couple of those are actually plot-relevant, like some of gavins audios and adams audio (they were removed because of mild sexual content and heavy abuse. again, mind the tws). the rest are teasers for more explicit audios.

Supernatural season 14

Oh boy!

So Alt-Michael has taken over Dean’s body and absconded to parts unknown - what an unprecedented plot twist who could’ve possibly seen this coming, certainly not Dean, the one guy who doesn’t trust angels and has a history of being short-sighted & making shitty deals.

Since this is season 14, and there’s only 1 more season after this, I presume Dean will never grow out of these bad qualities 🤦🏾‍♀️, so…moving on.

Check you out Sam, leading your new band of hunters, like some sort of Hunters Incorporated©️. I’m glad Sam gets to spend more time with his mom, but he won’t let her take care of him 😔😭

Was it me or did that Michael & Anael scene feel like Jensen x Danneel role play 🤣 - at least when he caressed her face. Like really bro? I don’t think the scene would’ve played out that way if the actors weren’t actual husband and wife 🤣

Oh Jack, poor guy feels worthless for having no power. Alt-Michael is recruiting?? Brief Dean cameo in 14x02, you give him like 2 lines, wow 😒. Even Sam got more screen time in 5x22 swan song…but Dean suddenly comes back at the end of the episode???? Nah, bullshit!

Also lol karma for Dean in 14x02 when Jack is like, ‘Dean doesn’t matter’, Michael has to be stopped. Ahahahahahahaha. He was the so called pragmatist when it came to Jack, now it’s Jack’s turn. Castiel’s face when jack said it tho…

Dean got stabbed by AU Kaia? What?? Oh look yet another instance of Dean running away from his problems and pain and being a dick to Kaia (though she's technically a different person) again! Good for you tho AU Kaia for giving Dean a taste of his own medicine and telling him off.

So some necromancer gets away from Jack & Dean but we’re not gonna see her again, right??? There’s just a little over 30 episodes left in the show at this point. They probably didn’t know that at the time though.

Shoutout to the devil for basically condemning his child to die from a lack of grace :/ while Cas was able to survive (cuz plot convenience most likely) Jack as a nephilim was unable to do so. Gabe’s spare angel grace couldn’t help (I wonder if he were still alive in canon, if it would’ve made a difference. Oh well).

The nerve of Dean to challenge Alt-Kaia to either hand over the weapon or kill her. What if she just killed him? Also, can't they just replicate the weapon for their own uses? All they would need to do is ensure they're using the same materials Kaia did when she forged the weapon in her own world.

How many hits to the head is Sam supposed to fuckin' take? I feel like it's happened more in this season alone than the entire show so far? He should probably be dead at this point 🤣

Jack got taken, oh no! why didn't Michael kill him? To take him as a ward? Seriously? Whatever.

And it turns out the past episode was a long con to get Dean right where Alt-Michael wanted him. I know there was a catch to him letting Dean go in 14x02.

So Alt-Michael chose to trap Dean in…contentment? With Pamela Barnes? And they weren't even a couple, just friends. She called him out on something.

Why not have him be with a real girlfriend of his, like Lisa or even Cassie? I’m supposed to believe Dean's dream is an unsuccessful bar living out his days with a platonic lady friend??? Really??? Bullshit!

John returns for the final time to go back to 2003? Okay. His hair is cut and grayish. Lol so I’m gonna see that as John gained some weight (from food/drink or muscle training idc) and dyes his hair black but the root are grey and come out every so often 🤣 but yay JDM I wish you had been in more episodes! Oh well.

So no one’s gonna talk about:

a) Adam’s existence

b) Bobby X Mary or how Bobby essentially replaced john as the father/husband by getting involved with Mary AND being a surrogate father to Sam & Dean (with a clear preference to Dean but whatever)

I’d care more about Sam & John’s convo if we had more time with them together on screen. But it was nice to see them squash their beef.

Dean & John’s convo was faaaar too brief. But insightful to their relationship. John wanted dean to have a family, echoing his wishes for his eldest in season 1 in his convo w/ Sam.

But Dean was like I have a family 🥺 my emotions!

Back to the Michael bullshit – a fight with a gorgon fucked up his containment so he literally broke out of Dean's body and killed all the hunters who were conveniently at the bunker when they brought an unconscious Dean back there. Even poor unfortunate Maggie. For a second I thought Mary would be there since Maggie mentioned she was on her way back but no, he ended up possessing Rowena.

Then they bring the old angel torture device of disabling our heroes' ability to breathe, like in the season 5 premiere, making them blind (that's new) and making them hurt.

Jack gets his chance to take Michael down, and takes his grace??????

Oh Sam bby, it's not your fault. Those people were doomed no matter what. TBH I'm surprised they lasted this long. But cuz he's a Winchester and he was raised by Dean & they've rubbed off each other too much at this point (nobromo), he decides to focus on yet another case even when Dean himself isn't willing since big bro has pointed out they have done 3 cases back to back. They're not the young men they used to be lol.

Cas goes with Sam to a milkshake town and given his legendary levels of awkwardness he's immediately seen and called out for his inherent queerness by the townsfolk (in all senses of the word).

Aw Sam wants to stay, ofc he does. This town is simple and peaceful. He could use some of that. Too bad this place is making people's heads explode.

Oftentimes since Jack started in this show, he's felt like an intern and 14x16 is one of those times. They don't wanna bring jack along so they think to leave him alone doing chores. Good Lord.

Oh honey Sam you didn't have to tell the sheriff you're not FBI, just stick to the monster stuff. He knows what's up.

And Jack sweetie pie you don't need to impress those kids. He should be hanging out with kids his own age. Just Jack with a bunch of babies 🤣. So cute! My headcanon is that he can actually talk to them. At least then it wouldn't have ended with a stabbing. Thankfully he cleaned up his mess, even though the local kids are terrified of him. It’s a shame he doesn’t have friends. If only he was allowed to have Claire in his life.

They finally resolved the Nick storyline (I hope) by killing him off via Jack but Mary is not happy. She’s concerned. She’s been concerned about him the whole frickin episode since he sassed her as they tried setting up a game night with Dean.

It’s like these people keep forgetting what Jack is capable of.

He didn’t have to relish the kill though. On the other hand, it felt like Mary’s concern was a bit much — if it were me I would’ve kept my mouth shut as to not upset a powerful fledging being into killing me by accident.

So Mary dies…again.

This is also why we can’t have nice things. I know Dean’s never gonna let this shit go. Sure Cas has fucked up a bunch, but killing a direct blood relative of Dean’s…nope. That’s unforgivable. I know they’re not gonna let Dean kill off a kid but I know he’s NEVER ever gonna forget Jack’s role in Mary’s (second) demise.

The boys show up, did they not circle back to pick up their mother? Seriously? Goodness Lord. So depressing watching the brothers just assuming their mommy’s coming back 😭

Cas (cuz of course this shit went tits up while Daddy was away) calls Dean to get caught up on what happened the last episode and is concerned that the Winchesters left their mom alone with Jack. Then why did you leave him Cas? You could’ve taken him with you. Like it would’ve been better if one of the brothers was alone with Jack? Badasses they may be, but they would’ve ended up just like Mary let’s be honest. The only difference would’ve been whichever brother got got would’ve come back. Mary will not be getting that special treatment…

Jack is tripping out since he murdered his foster G-maw - ends up flying all over the world (so his soul is definitely gone? But if it were gone, would he even care about killing Mary? everyone’s trying to track him down IDK why he doesn’t just destroy the phone he has. We get flashes of Mary & Jack’s time together and technically I believe she spent the most time with him (at least in season 13)

They’re still giving Mark P work on this show making him the manifestation of Jack’s subconscious cuz the kill is driving Jack insane 😭🥺 He’s reacting so much like a little boy who knows he fucked up it that makes this so much sadder 😭 Jack’s being driven mad with grief.

But this iteration of who God is seems to watch what people and creatures decide to do with their lives. He made the weapon to see who among Sam, Dean or Cas would take it and strike Jack down.

So ultimately when Dean tracks Jack down and Jack throws Cas into a tombstone and Sam is running dramatically to stop it, Dean ultimately decides not to kill Jack. But why though? He kept talking shit about how Jack needed to be dealt with, but when the moment comes, he won’t do it?! I mean I’m glad but it doesn’t really make sense?!

Was it the puppy eyes? Did Sam teach Jack that trick? But Jack closed his eyes at the last second???

Oh Dean, you’re such a fucking softie. That’s on you God. You made him softer than Mr. Pillsberry.

If anything, Dean is the step daddy. Cas is Daddy. And then there’s Uncle Sam 🤣

Sam is many things, but stupid is never one of them. Naïve maybe, trusting, desperate. But not stupid. And not crazy, this time 🤣

I will say what makes this story compelling is the fact that the Winchesters find themselves locked in a cycle of violence at the hands of their Creator, and they’re refusing to commit further acts of violence in effort to stop it all and rebel against their cruel, dispassionate maker. But they have no means to back it up…today.

It’s not about the destination though, it’s the journey (I keep telling myself that).

After dissolving the shock of Evelyn’s news - and of course accepting when she asked Beatrice to be her bridesmaid -their Halloween was pretty uneventful. Beatrice had a lot of fun, there were so many kids in their neighborhood that she just stood by the door as Rooster kept holding Nicole, smiling at his wife’s pure excitement.

He was glad they had a good day. He was glad he could go to work the very next day without worrying about Beatrice too much, he was glad that they had a wonderful night and the pep on his step was enough to make people look his way. 

He was just happy that they were on a fresh new stage in life.

“Sir!”

Rooster furrows his brows, hearing quick steps approaching him from behind, which makes him stop and turn to look at who it was. Faraday skids into a halt, the rubber soles of his boots squeaking on the floor as he salutes the higher ranking officer, “Sir! Good morning,sir!”

“Good morning,Faraday.”

Faraday smiles briefly as if he couldn’t believe that Rooster knew his name, “How is your day going,sir?”

Rooster blinks at him, “Fine.” then arches his brow, “How’s yours?”

“Good! Good!”

He doesn’t know why the young recruit stays there, looking at him still. It’s a bit uncomfortable. Rooster props his hands on his hips, furrowing his brows, “Anything I can help you with,Faraday?” he questions, “Because we both have things to do today,don’t we?”

“OH! Um, yes sir. I have a question.”

“Alright.” he waits for him to say something but Faraday is just staring…so Rooster sighs, “Permission to speak is granted, go on.”

Faraday’s smile widened and he nodded, his arms behind his back, “Is it true you and Captain Mitchell took down three birds in an old girl?” Faraday had a voice that made him sound like he was a radio host from the 1950s, he didn’t know if it was the slicked back hairstyle or the obvious New York accent - like a light version of Tony Soprano - but hearing those words coming out of the young recruit were actually funny.

Rooster chuckled, “Yeah. It is true.” he thought he already knew that, in fact he thought him and his friends knew that, he had no idea why he was asking that but the way Faraday was looking at him it was like he had just told him the lottery numbers. “Why?”

“That’s…so cool sir.” he mutters, “We all heard about it, you know? When it happened, and-and we all had a blast figuring out how everything happened! It’s…so cool. Really.”

Rooster just arches his brow higher with an amused smirk, chuckling quietly, “Well,glad to give you guys something to talk about,” he turns on his heel, “Take care, Faraday-” but the younger recruit rushes up to stand in front of him, flushed and still nervous.

“S-Sir,do you think that…one day…we’ll be able to meet Captain Mitchell?” he asks, “Me and the guys I mean. We know  he’s your uncle and–”

“I’ll see what I can do.” Now that made Faraday’s eyes widen and smile broaden. There’s a quiet ‘yes!” coming from behind him and Rooster turns his torso to see the other two recruits barely hiding behind a wall. He blinks, then slowly lifts his hand on a greeting which the other young men clearly weren’t expecting by the way they just looked at each other and silently disappeared from Rooster’s view. “Anything else?”

“Anything else- oh! How’s the ma’am and the little miss?” he asks and Rooster just looks so confusedly elated by the question that it takes a while for him to reply, “Are they okay?”

“They are fine,Faraday. Both of them are fine.” he smiles, thankfully so at the young recruit, “Thanks for asking,though. I really appreciate that.” and he did, he loved talking about his girls and knowing that the younger recruits wanted to know about them was really nice.

“Psst! Faraday!” he hears McAllister’s voice, the two of them turning to where he could see the young pilot cupping his mouth “Ask him if we can gift them something!” and he hid himself again…were they trying to be…quiet? But Rooster could hear everything-

“Oooh, right! Yeah, can we gift them something?”

Rooster looked between Faraday and the area where the other two were hiding for a few seconds, chuckling in disbelief, shrugging with a smile, “I–yeah, sure. Why not? I don’t mind it.”

“Nice!” Faraday even fist pumps, “Does the little miss have any allergies? Or anything?”

Rooster’s brow just flicked alongside his eyes to the sound of the other men’s voices, Faraday even pulled out his phone to type something in his notes, murmuring to himself, “Anything else?”

“Would you like something,sir?”

“Nah,I’m fine. Get my girls something nice.” he is surprised at how excited the new recruits are, he didn’t know why - maybe they just missed their own families, he knew one of them had a child…he had no idea which one though because he never asked. “Anyway,I gotta go now. See you guys around,” he turns to where the other two were hiding “All of you.”

“Bye,sir!”

Rooster rolls his eyes with a chuckle, turning on his heel as he walks away from them. He was glad someone else was having that much fun, he didn’t mind as long as it was harmless…and those boys were pretty harmless.

He looks down at his phone to check if Bea sent him a message, which she did, entering his office and locking the door behind him. There was a picture of her and Nicole, their baby daughter was lying on her stomach on top of the baby mat, Eleanor and Jack on either side of her with the white dog closer to the baby, her pink snout almost touching Nicole’s leg.

She’s smiling at the camera, some toys are close to her and he could see Beatrice’s legs curled away from the picture with Jolene’s head on top.

As if she even had to ask. He just typed yes and sat down on his chair, sighing and letting the leather deflate under his weight as he waited for Beatrice’s call. And she waits less than a minute, “Hey,gorgeous.” he smiles, turning his chair left and right with one of his legs, “Glad to hear from you on this fine morning.”

“Oh,shush, you.” she giggles on the other end, her feet touching the ground as she walks around the house “How is your day going,Roos?”

"Good, pretty good.” he smiles, “Remembering stuff that happened this weekend has been a good distraction.” Her pause from the other end was the only way he was sure she was blushing, followed by her quiet embarrassed chuckle and since he couldn’t get enough of her, he ended up chuckling to himself, “What do you want to talk about my gorgeous,gorgeous wife?”

“Stop, oh my god you are so awful.” his smirk only widens, “...anyway, I just wanted to share something with you.”

“Oh?”

“Yeah, it’s something…um…well! You know how I had my reunion a few years ago?”

“Yes…?”

“Well…Hannah messaged me asking if I was going to the reunion barbecue they are going to have…and um…well,I said I didn’t know because I didn’t know they’d even do that.” he could hear her fiddling with something on the other end,maybe a glass of water “I mean why have another reunion? Was the other one that bad?”

Both of them said ‘probably’ and ended up laughing at their synchronization, “Well,do you wanna go?”

“I don’t know. It is in a nice place, nicely decorated…we can bring guests.” she messes with something else on the other end, “So…spouses.”

Rooster runs his hand through his hair, combing some of the sandy brown tresses back as he hears her. He’d go with her if she wanted to go, “Can we bring Nikki?”

“I don’t know, there will be...alcohol there.”

“When is it going to happen?”

“November. Like…middle of November.”

Rooster runs his fingers over his mustache, then holds his head up by the same hand, arching his brows, “Well…I don’t mind going with you if you want to go.” he says, “We can leave Nikki with your parents and if I’m not deployed I’m sure we can go, gorgeous.”

Beatrice was silent for a bit, sipping her water and walking back to where Nikki was - he smiled hearing their daughter babble happily to the dogs who undoubtedly were paying attention to her every word - “The last time I went…it wasn’t so bad. Me and Hannah talked a lot but…Eric showed up.” she hears his sharp inhale “It doesn’t mean he will again,Roos. Especially now.”

“Well,” he chuckles, rubbing his forehead, “Another reason for me to show up, don’t you think…by the way why did they want to do this again?”

“I asked Hannah and she has no idea either. She thinks…well…hm, she assumes it was because not everyone could join the last reunion or they all left early.”

“Sounds like a party.”

“It wasn’t that great. I think there’s also…um…the girl…I forgot her name not but she organized everything so perfectly that I think people got uncomfortable.”

Rooster swings on his chair for a little bit more, digging his boot’s heel on the floor to give him some leverage as he moves, the squeak of metal following every movement, “Understandable. Hey,I mean,” he shrugs even if she couldn’t see it, “If you decide to go,we’ll go.”

“Really?”

“Gorgeous,I’d do anything for you.” he smiles at her soft and quiet ‘aw’ “And if you want to do that, really want to do it I’m all for it.”

‘Okay…it’s just…sometimes I feel we do a lot of what I like and not what you like.”

“What are you talking about?”

“I-I don’t know,it’s just…well,we…we go out to do things I enjoy but very seldom we do things you like and- I-I don’t know,it’s something I thought about.”

Maybe it was the one thing that brought this conversation on so suddenly and she had no idea how to start without fumbling over her words. Rooster felt his chest flutter because how can someone like Beatrice be real? He is married to her and dated her and yet he still couldn’t grasp how thoughtful and kind she could be. With a hand on his face, his own cheeks flushing because of her, he just sinks on his seat a little bit more, “Gorgeous.” he begins, “I swear,I’ll figure out a way to kiss you through the phone.”

“...oh. Um…”

‘God,Bea…I love doing things with you.”

“Really?”

“Baby,yes,yes absolutely! I love going out with you and enjoying what you enjoy. Don’t think you are ‘forcing’ me to do things I don’t enjoy. Hell,baby I used to not go out at all or if I did it was with the guys and I’d go home quickly…I love being with you.”

“I love being with you too.”

“So if you wanna go to this barbecue thing,we can go. We’ll have as much fun as we can and we’ll have a good time…because I like being with you.” he hears her shy giggle and almost feels her blush through the phone.

“Okay…um…but,we can do something with you, next time.”

“Oh?”

“Well,I know you like fishing.” she begins “And camping…and so do I so! Maybe- well I looked some stuff up and apparently camping with a five months old baby can be fun! A-And Nikki will have a core memory…that she might not even remember when she’s older but, you know what I mean!”

Ah…he loved her.

Rooster just melted in his seat, slapping a hand over his heart and making a pained face - still smiling - “Gorgeous,I’d love that. You know I would…we promised to do that,didn’t we?”

“We did. You said it made you fall even more in love with me.”

“And that statement remains true.”

“I know…well…then I can tell Hannah we are going?”

“Sure thing, gorgeous. It’ll be interesting, plus we might need a better celebration.” he mumbles, still swinging back and forth, “I know you’d like that too.”

He had no idea what to expect from this…barbecue reunion thing but she sounded excited about it. And they could go camping after, that’d be more than fine to him too.

‘Oh, Roos.”

“Yes,baby?”

She pauses on the other end, “So…if you aren’t deployed in December…I was thinking we could…spend Christmas in Virginia.” she whispers it, almost fearful, “I…well, it’s because…wouldn’t it be important for Nikki to know some of her family’s history? We can take her to meet your parents.”

And Rooster was silent, silent and feeling so much all at once. He straightens himself, then leans over the desk to keep his head up as he takes in what she said. He didn’t deserve her, there was no way he deserved her because of course she’d suggest something like this. It took some time for him to gather enough composure and manage a response, even wiping his eyes a bit when he felt the sting coming from behind his irises, “Fuck.”

“You okay?”

“Fuck,I…I’m great.” he sniffles, shaking his head with a smile, “God,Bea…I love you so much,gorgeous. Do you have any idea how much?”

“I think it’s the same amount I love you.” and she’s smiling as she says it “Do you like the idea?”

“I love the idea. Hell yeah, let’s go there. Spend Christmas and New Years maybe?”

At his sweet suggestion all that Beatrice could do was laugh softly “I don’t see why not. Maybe we can choose that cabin from before, or something similar because we’ll take Nikki and the dogs with us.”

“I can do that…God Bea…thank you.” he whispers, “Thank you for suggesting it and I–” he looks down at his watch with a groan “...gotta go. Fuck, gorgeous I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay Roos. Just be safe okay? Have a good day, I hope you get wonderful news today! I love you,so so so much!” Nicole babbles in the background “So does Nikki!”

He chuckles, holding his head up with his free hand, “I love you too, both of you…bye gorgeous.”

“Bye,Roos.”

As she ends the call he just drops the phone and cups his face with his hands, a dreamy smile on his face, “...I might just ask her to marry me again.”

I think it's also up to interpretation a bit how old YW is. I mean it's assumed (because of the target demographic) they're like elementary/middle school age ofc. But at Merle's age anything under 50 could be 'young' imo (and they have to call them something, so 🤷).

Do I think YW is in their mid-40s? Probably not lol but they could at least be a young adult (unless there's some canon confirmation I'm forgetting. Which I totally could be XD)

Are there some more capable adults he could get to help? Probably. But that actually leads me to another Thought which is the book of secrets. Clearly it says something about YW being destined to save the spiral yada yada so maybe by default Ambrose trusts and relies on them even when they're not the best equipped - but maybe that's literally WHY the book of secrets says that, because it knows he's gonna put all his eggs in one basket and not bother to get support from anyone else. So it ends up that. Yeah. YW is the one who goes through all this. Thanks for the trauma bro /j

Anyway I do like the idea of the protagonist jumping in and wanting to be the hero (and also being ready to throw down with anybody) because I feel like it fits with the generally helpful but also somewhat chaotic and morally dubious image they've cultivated over their journey. If Ambrose seemed less like he didn't give a fuck (not just about YW but all death students, etc) it'd be a much better dynamic

And that's definitely a good point with how the Wizard's age comes into play! I think the most heinous thing that stands out about canon is that the Wizard is assumed to be a child - probably because the game is geared towards younger kids and most of the fandom by that time WERE young kids, AND the Wizard was essentially supposed to be YOU or an insert that represented you. Also even canon, up until arc 2 or 3, even comments on how young the Wizard is constantly. So it's the fact that an adult person is taking advantage of and using a CHILD and putting them in dangerous situations. For the greater good? Yeah!!! But that's still a little kid. That's the part that kinda stands out when it comes to Ambrose's treatment of the Wizard. A child has no autonomy in a situation when pitted against an adult, a child doesn't know any better to realize what's happening, the child isn't mature enough to have the words or know the actions to stand up for themselves. Combined with the fact that the child is in an unfamiliar place with an unfamiliar stranger telling them to do things, the child is the completely vulnerable party in this scenario.

If the Wizard was a young adult by the time they were recruited by Ambrose, most of that would be gone. There would still be a power imbalance (Ambrose being the Headmaster and unofficial mentor of the Wizard, who has power and influence over the City guard vs. the Wizard who is just an apprentice with no societal standing or knowledge of the aspiral yet) but AT LEAST an adult would (hopefully) be better equipped to handle themselves. An adult would most likely recognize what's really going on, what the situation is, and is able to rationalize and plan accordingly.

AND YEAH GOOD QUESTION ABOUT THE OTHER CAPABLE ADULTS because yes. Yes there are. There are infinite other choices Ambrose could have chosen before the Young Wizard. At least, for a lot of other issues that don't include saving the Spiral. Like you said Ambrose likes putting all his eggs in a basket and if he can kill multiple birds with one stone, he will. Since the Wizard is already here and the BOS said they were the chosen savior, there's no need to worry about the Other Guys!

Although imo the only way this eager Wizard AU could work in Ambrose's favor if he was like, actually shown to care about the Young Wizard's wellbeing despite his inability to help. It wouldn't be enough for Ambrose to just sit back and do nothing even in his old age when The Wizard is still essentially in danger (despite being eager to put themselves in that position in the first place), I would actually have to see Ambrose take whatever action he could in order for this dynamic to feel more equal and wholesome. Does Ambrose send other companions to help the Wizard out? Does Ambrose sit the Wizard down and gently explain although he appreciates the help, he expects the Wizard to be careful? Does Ambrose use his position of power to help take the load off the Wizard's shoulders every now and then? Does Ambrose take time out of his day to simply have tea with the Wizard and check in on them outside of any Spiral business?

Even if Ambrose was too old to do things himself, he still could do other things to make sure the Wizard was safe, especially if the Wizard was exhibiting some self-destructive behavior. It isn't enough that he's just too old; taking actions to ensure the Wizard's safety and little acts of service that ensures the Wizard KNOWS that they are cared for and loved - THAT'S my ideal Ambrose and Wizard relationship. A bond that feels true and a relationship that's equal where it's less "old man uses child" and "two partners who are in this together". The last part of your ask PERFECTLY captures this that Ambrose needs to SHOW his love and care and protection for the Wizard, not just to say it every once in a while. This is a genius ask and a genius AU you've come up with anon

If you tell me which quest you mean I might bw able to give some thoughts ha ha.

Being invited to Team Rainbow, the world’s most prestigious anti-terrorist organization, was a big shock to you. You didn’t know it was even possible for your efforts as a dorky combat medic with a degree in engineering would even get you this far, but you were glad you were able to even get the opportunity. You also may or may not have gotten in due to a good word given by a good friend of yours. Santiago Lucero, Argentina’s stickiest little thief. If it weren’t for that one time you bumped into him after he got a serious injury while stationed in Argentina, you would have probably never gotten considered in the first place.

As was mandatory upon joining, a psychological report was made for you, and you found that Harry was much kinder than you were told. You found yourself recounting your life, and were found to deem a perfect fit for Rainbow’s line of medics. You thanked him for his consideration and invitation of you, then made your way to the R&D facility you needed to go to to have your gadget evaluation. You were to meet Elena Álvarez, the woman in charge of R&D while also being a skilled operator, and you couldn’t lie, you were a bit excited. You’d heard much about her from your letters with Santiago, and you couldn’t wait to get to know her better.

Once you got to R&D, you stepped inside and went to the first person you saw to ask where Elena was. Tapping her shoulder carefully, the woman you had approached turned around with a mildly startled expression on her face. “Oh- I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you. I just wanted to ask you a question and everyone is moving around a bit too fast.” you apologize sheepishly. “Oh, it’s okay. What can I help you with then?” the woman asked. “I’m looking for Doctor Álvarez? I’m Rainbows newest recruit and I was scheduled for a gadget evaluation after my meeting with Harry.” you say. Giving you a sharp gasp, the woman then looked down at you holding your gadget before swiftly taking you over to one of the benches. She was speaking in rapid Spanish, as if she had just remembered something she forgot, before clearing her throat and sighing. “I’m so sorry if the way I looked and responded to you was rude. You can call me Elena, Doctor Álvarez is a bit too formal for me when other operators use it to address me.” She apologized.

Your eyes went wide, heart seemingly skipping a beat as you realized you had actually found her without even trying. She was even lovelier in person, and her voice was firm yet gentle at the same time. “It’s okay! Honestly, it was a bit justified for you to speak to me like that. You hadn’t met me before, and I just kinda walked up to you like some idiot.” you say, laughing softly. “Well, let’s go ahead and have that gadget evaluation. Just put it onto the workbench and talk me through the schematics and way it works.” Elena said. You nod, putting your device onto the workbench and got straight to the evaluation alongside her.

As you explained to her the schematics and how it works, Elena just seemingly couldn’t keep her eyes of you. You were clearly passionate about your work as a medic, and seemingly a damn good engineer with the device you crafted with your time in the military, and she loved that about people. Especially ones who were able to match her creativity when it came to new discoveries like you did. You didn’t get off topic like a few other operators had, and even showed her specifically what made it work. She was in absolute awe with you, and she wanted to learn more. “Now then, you think it needs any improvements?” you ask excitedly.

Elena snapped out of her thoughts and nodded, “If you wanted, we could possibly have it recharge faster if you change up a few of the wirings. We’ll test it, of course, so don’t be worried if we accidentally mess it up. But surely, knowing how good you crafted this, it doesn’t need too drastic of a change if you don’t want to.” she said. “I’m definitely okay with doing what you said. I’ve heard a lot about you, you know. I trust you completely with my devices and…I hope I can get to work more alongside you and see what else we could come up with together.” you say, suggesting that you had an interest in her. Elena’s face practically went red as she flustered, and she quickly looked back down at your gadget. She carefully switched some wiring around before closing it back up and reassembling it, before she then left you to a testing dummy. “So since it practically works as a mobile defibrillator as well as a vitals stabilizer, we’ll test it here.” she said.

You nodded and watched as she optimized some settings on the dummy to simulate that it was dead and needed to be revived. She gave you the all clear and you activated your gadget. It swiftly went to work, charging itself as it climbed right over the dummy’s “heart” before utilizing its first attempt to revive it. You were surprised to see that it recharged much faster now, thanks to her recommendation, and you couldn’t help but clap your hands happily. Soon enough, the dummy was revived. “Elena, you’re just as good, if not better, than what Santiago told me. You and I are going to get along just fine.” you say, giving her a handshake before pulling her into a tight hug.

Though she was a bit shocked at the sudden embrace, Elena couldn’t help but reciprocate it. “Oh no, you and I are most certainly going to get along. I could always use another hand here at R&D, so maybe I’ll get Harry to have you move here with us at some point when you’re not busy with the current operation.” she said. You then pulled away and gave her a warm smile, visibly flustering now, “Like I said, I’d be delighted to work alongside you. Thank you for your improvements, that was absolutely wonderful. And it didn’t fizzle! Gods, why didn’t I think of rewiring it the way you did!?” you joke, causing the both of you to laugh. Once your laughter died down, Elena gave you a much softer smile, “Well then, I hope to see you again once you’re back. Do good on your operation, okay?” she said, handing back your gadget. You give her a nod and a look of confidence, before getting out of R&D and meeting up with the operators you were assigned to work with. The both of you were much more hopeful now that you found mutual compatibility through engineering and improvements.

And maybe, just maybe, hopeful that things would work out smoothly between each other to where you could possibly sneak in a good friendship and relationship sometime down the line.

I hope your break from school is going good! I haven't been able to relax very much cause a long time family friend who is almost a sister to me is visiting from brazil, so it's been days full of stuff

14. Something you really don't like about this series?

Well more of the recent trend towards player pandering. It's definitely more pronounced with avatars, but Alm also showed traces of this treatment in SoV. I legitimately feel like the devs don't want you to feel bad anymore, because it would ruin the power fantasy. See: Being able to recruit almost every student in 3H even in the cases where it doesn't make sense.

As we have seen in Hopes now.. this can come at the cost of making the players feel bad in entirely different ways. By trying so hard to make people not be sad that "they" i.e. Byleth isn't the center of the world anymore, they made most of the plot and the "conclusions of the spin-off unrewarding and frustrating. Because nobody gets to be happy without Byleth us.

If we go by game mechanics, it's definitely weapon durability. It just leads to loads of annoying inventory micro-managing.

31. Some moments of Fire Emblem you keep thinking of?

Oh there is plenty, but I'll limit it to one from each game I played.

Sacred Stones: I'd have to say L'Arachel's entire introduction. She is such a memorable character and I love her to bits.

Path of Radiance: The cutscene at the start of the gathering of the Laguz Royals. It's just so epic and does a really awesome job of introducing the Laguz factions and showcasing their different backgrounds and stances towards each other. I love the laguz in general so of course this would be a favourite. haha

Radiant Dawn: Can I say the opening cinematic? Cause it's the best in the series imo. It really gets you pumping and teases a lot of the good stuff ahead of time. (cheating so I can have more moments up here) I won't be more specific, cause I have a mutual I gotta show it to first.

Awakening: Emmeryn's death. That cutscene really hit hard. I really like how it was animated too.

Fates: Oh gosh so many moments. If I really have to pick one, I'd say it's the reveal of possessed Takumi at the end of Conquest. It's a very chilling and creepy scene, especially once you know it's basically an animated corpse you are facing. Truly tragic fate for my fave, but it still sticks in my head.

3 Houses/Hopes: Just putting these together, uh... I'd have to say the scene at the start of AM's post timeskip where you find Dimitri. It's especially memorable for me, because I got to it after a 12 hour gaming marathon at 5 am. Let's just say it made an impression right before I zonked out in bed.

32. What direction you wish this series would take?

Honestly, I'll just be glad if they take something away from 3 Hopes and that is 1) Shez worked a lot better than Byleth simply due to being an actual character and not the center of the entire plot. 2) Radically diverting from an established characters personality is a bad idea. 3) Pandering towards a character to the point where you warp the plot around them to suit their needs is also a bad idea.

That would really help. I would also like it if they somehow recaptured Tellius sense of storytelling, but I am not holding out hope.

"My journey as an amateur photographer"

My journey as an amateur photographer

Hi im vich I just want to tell you how my journey starts as an amateur photographer. During the pandemic (2020) i've always played online games because I cannot go outside since there are viruses spreading across the country. One day my sister bought a camera (dslr) but i do not know how to use one since i'm not very familiar with it. I ask my sister if I can borrow the camera from her, then I explain that I would like to gain some experiences from using this dslr. After that my sister considered my reasons and she lent it to me with no hesitation.

I tried capturing my first shot pointing at my dog and here's the result.

I'm so happy that it turned out pretty well, since then I always take photos every time. Tomorrow that day my sister went to shopping along with her friends and she seems not bringing the camera with her and i've come to realize that even now i still do not know how dslr camera works, I only have six hours so i prepared my table, my pen, my notes, and the camera and then I started researching and studying the true essence of a camera from manual to auto, buttons and settings, angles and taking raw pics, body and lenses, and blending the customized settings.

After studying a little bit I tried immediately taking photos of my pets and realized that I've improved a little by using the dslr camera and my knowledge about it.

 Later that day my sister got home and took the camera because she's going to a birthday party celebration.

One year later (2021) after not holding or using the dslr camera. I've always thought that if I'm still able to capture some great shots even though one year has passed I'll ask my sister for her permission to borrow her camera and she lent it to me as always. This is my first time taking pictures outdoors so I've prepared my things and am going to a nearby campus. I'm truly mesmerized by using the dslr outdoors because I can take pictures of great sceneries and here's one of the shots i've taken on a campus.

Since then I added photography as one of my hobbies changing my algorithms in social media and becoming aware of other native and foreign photographers. Watching some great works of other photographers has become a habit of mine since I can take some ideas from them and apply it to my own style of photography.

Another year has passed (2022) I got a call from our neighbor who wants to recruit me for some kind of travel/networking job and I accepted it. I packed my things and then again I asked my sister if i can borrow and bring along her camera since the camera always piled up and she does not know how to use it properly and i've always wanted to give meaning to that camera from using it and she always agrees. 

When I was at my job I focused on studying the camera since I have plenty of time using it. Months have passed working on my job. We got a call from our support that our next location is some far away city and I'm so excited that I packed my stuff and will be ready for the trip. The next location assigned to us needs a ship transportation so we booked and waited for the ship to come. While we waiting i capture some scenery across the port

And then our ship came. While on the ship some people approached me and asked if i'm a photographer and i replied "yes, an amateur one". After we arrive at our destination we rest for our duty tomorrow. 

We travel and do our job and I've met a lot of people and also a native photographers. They teach me some basics of all kinds of photography and I'm really grateful for that. Sadly I've got no pictures with them but anyways I'm glad I met them. Almost two weeks have passed and we got a call from our support that our job here is done so we can go back to our main staff house and get some days off. But before we came to say goodbye i've taken at least one picture and off to go.

January 2023 is a new year with some great resolutions of mine im participating in contest and note to myself that I can improve my progress little by little and right now I'm still an amateur photographer with 2 years experience of photography and with that I found my interest doing nature photography, animal photography, landscape and portrait photography. Hope that one day I am able to meet some photographers and become a professional photographer and can't wait to tell my parents.

reached level 70 in the new wow expansion!

some dragonflight thoughts:

I really, really enjoyed levelling this expansion. I hit level 70 relatively quickly almost entirely by questing; I did every side quest, detoured to look at any interesting thing I found, stopped to talk to any NPC with a speech bubble and /pet any animal the game would let me.

The quests felt really personal and really thoughtful; I could feel the love the developers have for this game in every little detail. Loved the stronger use of personal dialogue options too, reflecting our individual characters; several times i got unique dialogue options in places where it was appropriate, like a vendor asking me my feelings on shoes and my draenei being able to point at her hooves! i was really drawn into the world and enjoyed it so much.

The newer generation of developers really have an interest in diversity in a way that I genuinely never thought I’d see in this game and I loved it. There was more lgbt content in one zone than wow had in its first six expansions, lmao.

Old characters coming back! it’s really nice to see all these old familiar faces and how they’ve changes (or haven’t). pan the kind returns as a stablemaster in a little camp in the azure span and still calls me huntmaster, the shipwright from kul tiras recruitment quest line is hanging about chatting boat building with the tuskarr, the melon-chopping zandalari has moved ON from melons and will THANK YOU not to bring them up... they didn’t have to be there, they don’t give quests or serve as anything but flavour, but it really helps the world feel more alive. still love the effort on giving wrathion unique bouncy hair, lmfao, although glad to see alexstrasza’s jewellery also moving in cutscenes. also, facial expressions!

other thoughts:

- the tuskarr in the azure span - FINALLY i get to be on the giving end of a “secretly a dragon” questline...

- i really loved the centaur in the plains, their culture was explained to you naturally through the course of the questlines AND there’s an achievement to /pet all their adorable working dogs! plus the khan being Deaf and the devs taking the time to program sign language gestures in for when she communicates with her aide, and put in a whole thing about not distracting her Good Boy service dog while he’s working...

- the black dragonflight bickering, lmao. i mean, im gonna choose wrathion, bro gave me THREE legendaries (step up ur game sab), but it’s good to see wrathion finally getting challenged. even if it feels like,

wrathion: woe is me for i am the last black dragon. woe. my life is terrible and lonely and hard. ebyssian: sup, you’re impulsive sabellion: you’re annoying and impulsive wrathion: wow i wish i was the last black dragon

- the zone art teams and the music designers really knocking it out the park, huh? when merithra let me into the dream area at the end of the plains questline i said “WOW” out loud and not in an accusatory “seriously?” way

- dragon riding is amazing and I love it. It’s so much fun and SO fast. i already sort of played at that system with previous flying - i liked to dive when my winged mounts played their “glide” animation, and weave through trees - so doing it for real has been utterly amazing. i spent hours after dracthyr came out just climbing up high places and yeeting myself off them with soar; soar does not hold a CANDLE to real dragon riding.

- all in all, i absolutely love it

- but blizzard still owe me real life money for subjecting me to the cheese vendor “gorgonzormu”, the wine vendor “zinfandormu” and for the pond full of “mudfin frenzy” piranhas, except for the two extra piranhas hanging out together at the back, who were called “best frienzy”. it’s the Moist Owlette situation all over again.

meeting for the first time pt.2

a/n: since yall wanted a pt.2 and also yall are getting high with dabi so HAVE FUN and this one is a bit shorter than the last one but hope yall enjoy it!!

dabi x reader

getting high with dabi in dabi’s favourite alleyway to smoke

its around 4:30pm and your on your usual walk and you notice at the corner of your eye dabi in the alleyway again smoking so you go over to him smiling all happy to see him again

“hi im back!!” you say all smiley and glad to see him

“oh hey there!!” he says taking a draw of his cigarette in his hand then you pull out a joint from your pocket smirking

“you wanna?” you say with a smirk on your face

“lets do it!!” he says flinging the cigarette away so yous can smoke the weed together

you light the joint taking the first hit and then you pass it to dabi and after a while when you both finish the joint together you both are extremely high off the weed your imaging things not able to walk in a straight line meanwhile dabi cant stop laughing at you not being able to walk in a straight line yous are both like this for a while and dabi invites you back to the league of villain base you go with him but he’s holding you making sure you dont just go flying on your face even though he’s high himself and yous arrive at the league of villains base and when you walk through the door dabi just cant stop laughing at you and shigaraki turns around raising an eyebrow

“whos this?” dabi takes a deep breath trying to calm himself because how much he was laughing

“this is y/n!” he says smiling as your trying to stabilise yourself

“y/n what a vulnerable person…” he says with a more sinister tone eyeing you down

“their just a friend dont worry their just a bit high like me at the moment” dabi says bluntly not even trying to hide the fact you both are so high

“oh yous are high now?” shigaraki says more angrily you just nod holding onto the couch stabilising yourself talking to your hallucinations

“their more high i cant lie” dabi says pointing it out basically

“i can definitely tell their talking to themselves” shigaraki says pointing at you while your just sitting talking to the hallucinations but to shigaraki and dabi your talking to yourself

after a while you start feeling sleepy so you lay on the couch your holding onto falling asleep not even caring your at the league of villains base whatsoever meanwhile dabi and shigaraki just watch over you shigaraki debating on trying to recruit you into the league or not dabi just sitting admiring how cute you are while you sleep and then toga walks in seeing you asleep

“awwwww there so cute sleeping can i have a little bit of their blood?” she says in her usual psychotic tone but then shigaraki looks at her shushing her snd shaking his head signaling “no” but your just knocked out asleep on the couch for hours and hours…

After the Institute: Pax Populi

It had been some months since the revelation that McDonough had been a synth swept through Diamond city. Though it still remained a hot topic everyone was still asking each other about. To seek closure? To gague status? To gossip? That, is a question better left to the pen-pushers who found themselves under more stress than ever these days with paperwork flooding in for all sorts of city petitions, new buisnesses, complaints about noisy hammers and machines. 

A lady in a new row of office cubicles under the stands takes a bite of an apple. Its become a new treat she looks forward to - crisp, sweet and hearty. She remembers when she first passed Kawolski's new stand with a pallet of these strange new fruits. That bald skinny kid boasting about getting a good deal on an import from some place south of the 'wealth. She was dubious at first - like any other big city worker who had to pass a gauntlet of shopkeepers and performances beneath the Great Green Jewel's obselete walls. 

But, as fate would have it, a kindly old lady interrupted the young kid, 

"quiet down there Sheny, yer giving this nice lady a headache with yer yapping."

Before she threw a couple caps at the counter, and grabbed a fresh, red-and-yellow globule from the stand and put it in the young lady's hand.

"They're good! You really should try them.  Tastes like sugar-bombs without that card-boardy, starchy aftertaste. Don't mind me, I've been coming here each week to pick some up for the husband. This kid's got a knack for sorting through all the imports these days."

Her attention slid to the pile of pages inside her briefcase. All to be crossed and signed. Though weary, she was grateful her work was only mind-numbing. Her parents had worked the greenhouses as long as she remembered. She thought they'd be proud the night she went home and told them she'd gotten a job in a normally 'upper stands' role. But all they kept asking was why their daughter thought she was 'too good' to do 'proper work' like her ma and pa. They'd come around eventually. Afterall, with the new mayor and his big fancy speeches goin on about the new freedom they had without any boogeyman lurking in the shadows, a new tide of progress seemed to be breaking upon the city.

And then, Lars walked by, breaking her out of her melancholic waltz down memory-lane.

"Hello! uh- Ms. Briggs!" 

She didn't recognize him at first, those dark navy fatigues did well to hide the thin arms of her childhood friend.

"Lars?! Is that you?" 

She rose from her seat, excited at the idea of something to break up the monotiny. 

"You don't have to call me that! It's Janey and you know it!" 

She greeted him with a friendly hug

"Well-... i'm here on buisness im afraid. But its good to see you here!"

"Oh of course! right. I hope they're treating you well at the castle!"

"They are, about as well as any new recruit. So far its just been basic training, and grilled mirelurk. I can't even tell which is worse."

"Well you can always come home! Theres a new pottery shed opening up by the lake!"

"Janey, you know that's not my style. Now down to buisness."

Lars went on to deliver a memo for her superiors. An upcoming meeting addressed by the general himself to leaders and their staff across the commonwealth. Unfortunately, Janey wouldn't be going, she's not nearly an overledger yet.

Saying her goodbyes, she promised to write to Lars soon. It was a busy time for her and the city. But she was glad that she was able to make a life for herself. Even if she shared the same shack as her parents, it was still a great peace of mind to save her caps. It'd cost a premium to get one of those new 2-pieces with the pencil skirt, but Janey Briggs was nothing if not commited to her ambitions. She saw what was possible after the fallwar. Everyone in the Commonwealth did.
