Best parts of Nope 2022:

1) Emerald reciting her father’s speech about their history so much that she always forgets to add a generation to account for her being a generation younger, and OJ always reminding her of it. We don’t figure this out until we see her watching a video of her dad saying the exact line. 2) How the small things always come full circle. It was a coin that killed Otis Senior and it was a coin that helped Emerald capture the only evidence of Jean Jacket. It was a balloon that set off Gordy into a massacre and it was a balloon popping that ended Jean Jacket’s massacre. How the Haywood family’s legacy is based in the first captured film, and it’s Emerald’s picture of Jean Jacket that calls back to and expands on that legacy. 3) How unashamedly campy it was to name the horse we saw die first Ghost and the horse that made it ‘till the end Lucky. (RIP to Clover and the other ones sold off to Jupe). Gordy. Gore-dy. Naming Jean Jacket after the one horse Emerald never got to tame. 4) How the movie starts with Gordy’s rampage and makes you think it’s just part of the Monkeypaw Productions intro and that Gordy is just staring at the audience for the shock value, but mid-movie gets recontextualized into a traumatic flashback of Gordy staring at Jupe under the table. 5) How we will never know why exactly Gordy spared Jupe. Did he calm down enough to recognize Jupe as one of his “family”, or even recognize that they were used and exploited in almost identical ways by the production crew and cast? If one of the other actors swapped places with Jupe, would it have been the same? Was the tablecloth just enough of an obstruction to Jupe’s eyes that Gordy didn’t kill him, and would have if the cloth wasn’t there? Did Gordy even actually reach to touch Jupe’s hand, or did Jupe add that detail on and unknowingly add that to his recollection of the event, and thus his belief that he could reach out and understand Jean Jacket the same way?   6) The way OJ was the one to realize Jean Jacket’s “rules” so to speak, being the character who seems the most coded to be neurodivergent; not looking others in the eye unless absolutely necessary, speaking bluntly and as short of terms as possible, using the way he interacts with horses when speaking to others (the “woah there” to the director at the green screen scene and slapping his hand to his leg to get Angel and Emerald to run faster to the car), unable to carry through with small talk in one scene (the movie scene with the white woman asking Lucky’s name) yet staying on topic and proposing a deal in another (trying to make a deal with Jupe while Emerald looks around), who understands what boundaries the animals he works with have and respects them.  7) How it goes unexplained why Emerald and OJ let Angel stick around because there doesn’t need to be an explanation. They just accept him in their group after a while, and they help each other without question. They allow each other into their respective homes for safety, and he refuses to let Antlers use the remaining horses as bait (”They’re horse people”).   8) The scene where OJ and Lucky run from Jean Jacket as the music swells almost like a rehearsed show between the three of them as Jean Jacket returns to the sky and OJ and Lucky split. That in contrast to Jean Jacket returning and OJ and Lucky barely make it out alive, which we don’t find out if they survive until the very last shots of the movie. 9) I Wear My Sunglasses At Night (Jean Jacket Mix). How music played electronically is used as a detection of Jean Jacket’s presence like some fucked up game of musical chairs. 10) How Emerald's father could never look her in the eye after selling off the original Jean Jacket for money, and how he dies by a nickel through the eye, how it’s money that kills him. How staring at something in the eye when you’re not supposed to is intertwined with not looking and paying attention to something you should have, both in the sense of not losing track of your family as priority and in the sense of not losing track of a wild, lethally dangerous animal.

y/ndevils00 hi and welcome back to my channel! this evening we’re going to be discussing the njdevils loss against the minnesotawild so buckle in because this was a very (un)eventful night!

there was one (1) goal made tonight by our pretty boys in red, however Timo told me my skirt was ugly yesterday, so he’s been kicked off of this post! will he redeem himself by the time they play on friday? that depends on if he listens to my demands!

onto the boys who actually made it on the post: jackson tried his hardest but despite that, he did not make a goal 💔 he did however look miserable (see slide 1), spend an insane amount of time watching baby sensory videos on the ipad (see slide 6), get knocked down (see slide 8), and then finally look cool for once in his life (see slide 9)!

swiss rap god got an assist on the only goal of the night, got in a scrum (see slide 7), and looked absolutely traumatized by something on the bench (see slide 2)! i’m not sure what he’s seen in his life but i’d like for him to keep it to himself :)

the crowned king of sweden, jesper bratt, also made an assist on tonight’s goal AND looked adorable and smiled after his own failed goal <3

maraschino cherry did absolutely nothing of note tonight but that’s better than getting a penalty (*cough* tuna *cough*)! so, i took a pic of him smoldering! you look great, zoolander!

and finally, mercy me was actually a sweet little angel tonight who can do absolutely no wrong and who definitely 100% did not pay me at all ever to say any of this!

i hope you all enjoyed tonight’s game because i know i didn’t!

Which makes any overnight trips incredibly difficult for her

If you’re gone overnight or she is, she will always call to fall asleep on the phone with you

But her quality of sleep isnt as good as it is when she has you snuggled up against her

She’s tried everything to get decent sleep whenever you or her are gone for the night; weighted blankets, hugging pillows, hugging stuffed animals, ect

Nothing can beat how soundly she sleeps when you’re with her

And when you two do get to fall asleep in the same bed, she has to give you a million goodnight kisses

She woke up tiredly going into the bathroom leaving her tidy bed behind

It's been some weeks since the incident , she stopped caring for anything else

It was only school , home , work and sleep in , to the point it got concerning for him

The quietness was starting to bother Seonghwa he at least expected for her to spare him a glance but nothing, neither did she talk to him or anything not even a single interaction

The girl went down into the kitchen and made herself some cereal before sitting down on the floor in  the living room

It was quiet as she enjoyed the alone time since everyone was asleep obviously since it was 6am

She went on her gallery and scrolled through the pictures and stumbled on her Seonghwa albums she somehow didn't want to get rid off

☆ the heart - david celeste (strangely, i imagine that morgan looks similar to seokjin from bts…those are just the visuals i get when i hear this song? longer, slimmer face shape, full lips, broad shoulders, soft cheek bones and jawline, etc. etc. it’s not exactly him, there are some differences in his eyes and nose that i can’t place yet, but no matter what i try to change or picture differently, seokjin is my point of reference for what morgan looks like. this song just brought out his appearance for me and i have no clue why. i don’t even keep up with kpop anymore and haven’t for a while now. if you totally disagree with me then i am so sorry 😭)

☆ catwoman - michael giacchino (he’s the type if person to pay acute attention to the soundtrack of a movie over the movie itself, though he’s not much of a movie person to begin with. he was interested in batman as a child and decided to go see its 2022 release—and he absolutely fell in love with the soundtrack. it pulled the right kinds of emotion from him at the right times, and it added a perfect effect to each scene. it’s one of the few movies that he actually watches back.)

☆ clair de lune - claude debussy (a simple, sweet, popular classic. he likes to pay attention to the rippling pattern of the right hand and allows it to envelope him in a comforting “brain hug.” it was one of the first pieces he heard when he was younger and it inspired him to delve deeper into music as a whole. his mother played piano, and he sits and recalls the amount of times that it’s lulled him to sleep in his younger years.)

this one was so relaxing omg. i feel like morgan is a super calming presence as a whole—i mean, he relaxed me really effectively in his recent audio. he’s a sweet, awkward music nerd (imo) that also happens to see the future. i’m so excited to see how his character is developed further in his story :).

as for his appearance being seokjin and associating him with the color purple, i have absolutely no clue. call it a vibe check. it just felt correct 😭 i will def be doing more of these when the inspo arises :p

when phones are first introduced into the wizarding world, harry buys one and begins taking ridiculous amounts of photos of the wotter clan, all of which are printed out and stuffed into "the picture book" which is a collection of all the pictures taken.

james loves stealing harry's phone for pictures and eventually figures out how to film videos. he takes videos of random shit - teddy changing his hair color, victoire braiding the dominique's hair, albus and scorpius snuggling in perhaps the gayest fashion possible together on the couch, etc. harry eventually relents and buys a family phone so that they can all take videos, and hence, the vlogs begin.

shortly after they've begun their vlogging, harry says that they could technically upload them to the muggle internet if they're careful about teddy's metamorphmagus powers, pots cleaning themselves, etc. all the kids love this idea and make an account labeled "the weasels" which is where all of their videos go.

james always volunteers to film, but he is notorious for not holding the camera straight and catching anything but what's meant to be filmed.

teddy goes through all of the videos before they're posted and makes sure that there's no magic in them.

the kids take turns with the family phone and when they can't be together, they'll film little tidbits of their life in their homes.

albus is the best at filming, but scorpius constantly distracts him and they all end up having to do it again.

all of the videos are genuine, and half the time, their most popular ones weren't meant to be filmed.

sometimes, when a person can't be there, teddy will fill their place.

the internet raves over the weasels and absolutely adores their dynamics, although some things are a bit speculative ("anyone noticed the giant hoops in one of the backyards?" "why do they have a closet full of brooms? their house isn't that dusty.." "they don't have a dishwasher!" "am i crazy or did i see an owl at the window at 4:39 in the video?")

some videos are very short and simple, like hugo talking about a flower he found outside or roxanne complaining about fred's antics.

when the account was newly made, people kept asking for a family tree because fuck, is that family huge. because nobody can remember what kid belongs to what parent, they link it in every video.

teddy x victoire is a very popular ship among the muggles on the internet and it drives victoire insane.

same thing with albus x scorpius, which honestly, nobody was surprised about, causing both albus and scorpius to be insanely embarrassed because they thought nobody suspected them.

occasionally, draco & astoria or andromeda will pop in one of the videos and the comments will be flooded with "the family can't get much bigger, can it?"

their most popular video is the whole family going to an amusement park. it features teddy and victoire secretly getting filmed while going on a "date" (teddy offered to pay for victoire's ice cream)

harry is dubbed "everyone's favorite uncle" because he got teddy a motorcycle for his eighteenth birthday and he has a pet snake.

ON the other hand, this friend group is already rather expected, to say the least. kozume kenma and tetsurō kuroo, being the best of friends, were together their whole life. they were the only ones together their whole life; so it was rather a surprise that kenma had welcomed hinata shoyo into his walls, despite their differences. (i guess kenma is just attracted to his opposites, his whole friend group is just a mess of what he isn’t) while bokuto koutarou was simply kuroo’s frenemy, always attempting to one up one another, no matter how far ahead of everyone they may be.

AT first, kenma dreaded the energetic invitations the boys had given him to play volleyball — he would choose his games any day, but what can you do, say no? he isn’t that cruel to ignore the pleas of his childhood best friend, the owl’s vivacity, and shoyo’s sparkles in his orbs.

EVENTUALLY, kenma had just accepted his fate being the “official” setter of their 4-man team. it had became a hobby; a habit; a chore. obviously, he did appreciate them... just a little bit. they were the ones who had forced him to pop his bubble, and step out of his comfort zone; the said bubble seemed to have consisted of video games, his room, food, and himself.

THE year that tetsurō had to go to his college; the year that kenma was in his last year of high school; the year that he was overjoyed (this may be an exaggeration of the opposite), was when everything started. once the kuroo tetsurō was out of sight, out of mind, all the spotlight had gone to kenma. being the center of attention would’ve made him uncomfortable, but thanks to his friends, it didn’t. and instead, he tried to enjoy it. keyword: tried.

KENMA learned how to attract, some say even better than tetsurō. girl after girl, no one really did last that long; no one knows if it was because of his ridiculously impossible standards or the girls were the problem, but it was still all the same: it ended. he only had one — two — serious relationships, one of which didn’t really matter. everything was happening in shoyo’s view (rather, supervision), hence why koutarou and tetsurō were still updated, even if kenma preferred to keep his affairs a secret. he just couldn’t escape them.

IN present time, now that they’re complete again... which he isn’t the most enthusiastic about, kenma had moved on from this phase of his — why does he sound like a 13 year old boy? — and had gotten back to his relatively normal attitude, the video games 4 life thing, excluding the daily drabble he has about how love is disgusting. eugh! do you really believe in that? (and we’re pretty sure his friends know the true reason why, even if kenma tries to convince himself that it really isn’t real).

｡⋆ʚ♡⃛ɞ sorta fun facts !

TETSURŌ developed a talent for music when he was away. he can do it; whether it be composing, playing instruments, or even singing, you name it! it surprised shoyo and kenma a lot, how could have he kept that as a secret?! tetsurō had even made a name for himself on twitter.

DESPITE previous beliefs, kenma actually hates gatorade. he would prefer his “gamer drink” to be water. (wow, totally healthy for someone who stares at a computer monitor for 12 hours a day)

SHOYO had always used to left out the detail that kenma would have mood swings when one of his flings left (or he did) whenever he tells taro and tetsu about another girl their pudding head had.

KENMA’S and shoyo’s profile picture was chosen by koutarou, he said they had to look “flamboyant” on twitter like he does.

ACTUALLY, the boys (sho, tetsu, and taro) have the same condo. in not so much of a surprise to them, kenma refused to share the same living space as them and would prefer to pay full price for his own condominium. this is also why their gc name is like that (tetsurō named it), kenma used his cat’s piss as booby traps, but alas, the three had swung by so much that he thinks he should ask them for rent.

Kitty Dew Tidbits

Some important little things @sphylor, @divine-misfortune, and I have said that probably won't make its way into a post on its own.

This got long so there's a second post with puppy Mountain here

So Sphy did end up talking about the hats thing but I had already compiled this list so instead have some pictures of kitty Dew's hats

Also mentioned in that post is the shark onesie, which kitty Dew LOVES. It was originally Rain's so it's a bit big on him, but that makes it even more perfect because it smells like Rain and the sleeves are long enough to flap around

This one is a direct copy and paste because no summary will capture it correctly

Rain does that thing where he'll stick his tongue out a little when he's focused and Dew always mirrors it "oh its time for bleps now? ok!!" Rain: :p Dew: :p

Dew is captivated by videos of birds at bird feeders and sits as close to the TV as possible to bap at the birds

(one time they had to replace the TV because he tried to pounce on a bird and broke it)

(The first time he saw a bird outside the window he nearly got a concussion by pouncing at it head on)

Rain and Dew also sometimes watch ocean documentaries in bed on Rain's laptop, and Rain has to keep his arms around Dew to keep him from trying to attack the fish. Maybe also to hold a cuddly kitty, but mostly to keep him from pouncing... definitely

Speaking of sleepy kitty Dew, he has a very specific bedtime and if he and Rain aren't cuddled up in bed by that time he will meow incessantly at Rain, even herding him to their room if he's tired enough or Rain takes too long

He also never sleeps normally. There's a shared photo album with all the ghouls specifically for pictures of Dew in the oddest, most uncomfortable looking positions ever. Conversations in which Rain says "idk, I've gotten used to it" or Dew says "ooohh. So that's why my back hurts so much" are very common

He likes to sit in freshly made laundry, just napping the day away. It's warm and smells like his pack, so why wouldn't he nap there?

Every once in a while, really just often enough for it to not lose its novelty, if someone accidentally runs into kitty Dew, someone else will recite the Miette post for Dew

That's normally only when Dew didn't even notice he was bonked into. When he does, he puts on the biggest show of being hurt for attention, kisses, and cuddles. He does that every time he falls over, plays too hard, or anything else that could "hurt" him. If they had to pay infirmary bills Dew would be the cause for all of them from that alone.

Every time he goes outside, kitty Dew finds a rock to add to his collection. These rocks range from a piece of sidewalk that chipped off to something actually beautiful, and they are equally important

He also likes to steal buttons off people's clothes without them noticing. He stashes them under his bed, then after a while (when he remembers about the stash) Dew will put them in a box specifically for his buttons

The abbey only has door knobs, which kitty Dew can't figure out how to use, so Rain installed a handle for their bedroom door

"How to interact with Kitty Dew," a guide for new kids (Phantom)

1. Actually get close to him and let him cuddle up to you 2. He likes being scratched behind his horns 3. If you can't tell what he wants just sit or lay down and let him curl up to you, entertain himself, or direct you to what he wants 4. If he stretches to expose his belly this is NOT an invitation to pet him there. It is actually a dastardly trap (Proof: Swiss has scars) 5. DO NOT upset him you might actually die 6. Stop tensing up whenever he goes near you he's literally a cat what is he actually going to do 7. He really likes trying to catch your tail if you swish it across the floor 8. You gotta let him catch your tail eventually though otherwise he'll get stressed and WILL bite you. Also make sure to give him lots of praise when he catches it 9. Do not give him caffeine. He will get zoomies² and you will move up on Rain's hit list (Proof: Swiss has scars from that too)

He tried to fight the tinsel on the Christmas tree once. He was found with the smuggest face and tinsel everywhere on him

Dew constantly bonks Rain's mouth to ask for kisses then just looks up at him expectantly. After he gets his kiss he holds little mousey out so it can get a kiss too

Sometimes when Rain goes to kiss Dew he will lightly bite Rain's nose instead, giggling like crazy when he pulls back

Rain reads to kitty Dew a lot. Mostly kids chapter books so that Dew can follow along

Rain often wakes up to kitty Dew staring at him, inches away from his face

Though if Dew gets tired of waiting for Rain to wake up, he'll start playing with Rain's plushes and slowly start batting them closer and closer to Rain's face to "accidentally" wake him up

Sometimes when Dew plays with his toys he makes quiet chirping sounds to himself, like he's talking to them or making them talk

Mountain going puppy triggers Dew's kitty brain and vice versa. This causes a lot of problems when one of them has work to do

I had a convo with @morallygreyintrovert about an idea of a fic with songs for Sam, Dean and Cas (like in Zoey's Extraordinary playlist for those who know this show). Her post is there if you want to take a look. I told her I had a list of songs somewhere, so there it is, I thought I could share it with the class while I'm at it.

Sorry Dean, but I would have loved to see that (and there is definitely some singing in SPN). Anyway, here are the songs I thought about:

Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) by Journey (for season 4) Dean could sing this to Cas when he is still bind to Heaven (and goes through repetitive brain washing sessions). Jensen would totally be able to perform this song like in the video and I would pay a big amount of money to see that, and Misha walking like the girl in the clip with his own trench coat, I can totally picture that one in my head.

I feel you by Depeche mode (for season 4-5) Cas would be the one singing this one and it would be about the famous profound bound between them, when Cas starts feeling for the first time, doubting, and being drawn to Dean, to his "precious soul".

Never tear us apart by INXS (for season 4-5 or 8) Cas again would sing this to Dean, the "two worlds collided" in the song could be Heaven and Earth, angels' world and humans' world that could never tear them apart. Despite their differences, Cas loves Dean’s "precious heart".

Couldn’t stop caring by The Spiritual Machines (for season 5) this one is only for Dean, he would sing this one for himself, while he is fighting against the destiny (the “she” in the song), while the Apocalypse is about to happen and the angels are pressuring him to say yes to Michael, insisting he could be the one to stop it because it’s his destiny. And the title, I mean, it's Dean, "the most caring man on Earth" as Cas said it himself (15x18).

The way I feel by 12 Stones (for season 8) That’s just Dean in Purgatory, while searching for Cas. Feeling how much he needs him and how much he hates feeling like this. And the praying part, well you, "I prayed to you, Cas, every night" (8x02).

Next to me by Imagine Dragons (for season 8-9) This one is for Dean not feeling he is worth anything, but despite everything bad he did (not being able to save Cas from Purgatory, kicking him out of the bunker, etc.) and feeling like he let Cas’s down, well Cas stays by his side and Dean doesn’t understand why.

Killed or Be killed by Muse (for season 9) It’s MoC!Dean, it has fear, love, demons and fate in it. It has everything and it’s just perfect.

I wanna be your slave by Måneskin (for season 10) I don’t know if someone thought about that one before, maybe I’m totally wrong but I think it could be Demon!Dean about Cas, because despite being a demon Dean would still not be normal about Cas and without his human filters it could totally go that way. Too bad we didn’t see more of Demon!Dean with Cas, otherwise we would have seen this. You know in the karaoke bar, Cas enters and Dean is on the stage drunk singing this to him. Just imagine.

I won’t say I’m in love from Hercules (for season 13) When Cas comes back from the Empty, Dean would totally sing that and the muses that sing here could be Balthazar, Metatron, Crowley, Charlie, and Sam (maybe they could be even more, like Benny for example could also be here, but there’s only five muses in the movie). 

Stole my heart by Tanner Cherry (for season 15) I don’t know why but I can totally picture Cas singing this to Dean in the dungeon instead of that heartbreaking confession, and it’s already funnier to think about it.

Bonus:

I’m so excited by Pointer Sister Dean should sing that to Cas if he can’t use his own words to say what he feels, plus it would be fun to see that. Another big amount of money I would spent just to watch this happen on my screen.

Let’s have intercourse by Crazy ex-girlfriend Dean could sing this one to Cas, and of course, there would also be the dancing part.

I was made for lovin’ you by Kiss I don’t know why but I can totally picture that one too, where Cas sings this to Dean. Same thing, lots of money to see that.

Country boy by Alan Jackson the last one but not the least. Do you know who would sing that to who? Dean to Cas, human or without his wings, and it’s even funnier because those two idiots in love met on September 2008, which happens to be the date of release of this song. So it’s destiny, plus the country thing with cowboys hat and all, this song is obviously about them. Like almost every other songs on the planet since I saw them meet on my screen.

Anyway, I think I rediscovered all my playlists with Destiel ears and that's how you got what's above. Hope you'll like the ideas, or at least the songs. There's FOR SURE more songs that could be there, don't hesitate to share with the class.

Visiting my Astrocartography Mars/MC line for a week

This is the description from astro.com which sounds like a great place to visit for me right now because I’m trying to either get promoted at my job or get a new job soon or both lol

For some reason people really hate their mars line???? All I kept seeing was people saying how horrible it was when they lived on it or visited it 😭😭 I was like damn I had great expectations! I only saw one short YT video saying how they love living on their mars line and have been more active physically and socially. I heard someone say that the second they got off the plane they were just angry lmao which is hilarious to me like you were just angry at nothing??? 🤣 and I also saw stuff about how aggressive men were and they hated it lol I don’t think the ones I saw said what their mars placement is and what aspects they have but honestly even if we had the same exact ones I think it may be about perspective and what you’re used to lol

I have my mars in Scorpio in 9H. I have Mars trine saturn in pisces and mars trine ascendant in pisces so no harsh aspects.

A general theme for this week was very mars like bc I did Knott’s Berry Farm, Disneyland and Universal and visited so lots of walking and action the entire week!

Sunday - literally at the plane doors when I landed in LA a male flight attendant pretend to grab my leftovers from my hands like “oh is that for me? Thank you so much!” 😂😂 I was like oh this is the aggressive men on the mars line! But I just joked back at him lol

Monday - I broke EIGHT nails!!!!! 😭😩 one was like 🙄 but by 4 I was telling my bestie “would you believe me if I told you another one is gone?” And she knew immediately that I was talking about my nails 🤣 none of them broke too far down so it wasn’t painful and I don’t think my mars line “made” then break lol I think they were weak and being held together by my nail polish so when I took it off bc it was chipped my nails were like “it’s time to let go” 😩 everyone was super nice so nothing else happened that day! I didn’t bring my work phone with me so who knows what was happening at work 🤷🏾‍♀️

Tuesday - i feel like there were some aggressive people throughout the day but not directed only at me lol bc it was the park workers at Disney just being like THIS IS A WALK WAY ONLY KEEP MOVING when we stopped to take pictures of the parade. I also found out that the shoes I wore the day before gave me a blister on the bottom of my toe which was so painful

Wednesday - I feel like this was the most mars line day tbh bc I got my period that morning and I did “surgery” on myself 😂 bc of where my blister was I had to pop it safely (TMI incoming) so I doordashed a first aid kit and a sewing kit and I sterilized the needle and drained the blister and it’s insane how the pain was gone right after that! Then I went to go visit the Observatory to see LA and the Hollywood sign and that was really cute but then a bee flew into my friend’s hair and she was freaking out and I’m allergic but I could see it so I had to do something so she didn’t get stung! I used my phone like a paddle and beat it out of her hair and it fell on the ledge in front of us and I pushed it off 😩 then we went to In-N-Out and some guy tried to take my order for his friend lol I was 7 and his friend was 12 and he was like oh I thought you said 12…..🙄 also on the day to the observatory I realized that I had a lot of requirements to fulfill before I could renew my bar license 💀 I deadass thought I just had to do the CLEs and pay but I have to find a mentor too?? 😩 so I was listening to the CLEs on the long car rides.

Thursday - Another Mars/MC day because I was listening to more CLEs during car rides and I looked up who I could email and ask to be my mentor! I was at universal that day and nothing major mars like happened lol and honestly idk why aggressive men was something that people emphasized bc they were all really nice to me 😂 even the Grinch! This girl did have an attitude towards me while we were watching a show bc we were standing there for 30 min and she shows up and tries to stand in front of me and I’m 4’11 and she was at least 5’5?? And she motioned for her bf to come stand in front of me too and he refused and told her to come back and she was brooding the rest of the show 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ After that our Lyft driver was so nice bc the app sent him to a different location than where the park told us to go get rides and he came and found us instead of canceling! 💕 and his car was so nice and smelled so good!

Friday - traveling day! Again dealing with really nice men 😂 bc I was in line for this place to get coffee and a pastry and the person skipped over me bc she couldn’t see me and the guy behind me was like “someone’s down here” 🤣🤣 and then later this other guy was just making small talk with me while we waited for our stuff lol but the cashier??? Now I’m home and I checked my work phone and nothing happened while I was gone but today they sent an email congratulating the intern (who was there for 4 months and is still in law school) for accepting an attorney position in our office and I’ve been there for 2.5 years and it did make me feel some type of way bc 🤔🤔🤔 no one offered even after I got barred but they offered it to the person who hasn’t completed the degree yet and doesn’t have a bar license yet…?? I have been trying to get out so 😂 I’m not toooooo mad bc also that’s not the field of work I want to be doing long term but idk it’s the principle lol also I don’t remember which day but I saw something about the federal cost of living being increased for 2024 and I think fed govt employees get a pay increase bc of that?? I’m hoping that contractors like me do too!

Overall: Mars/MC line was a fun little time and productive trip! I feel like if you’re quick to anger I can see where you’d end up being really angry on your mars line but I just be looking at people in disbelief tryna figure out what possessed them to act like that towards me and then I just laugh and move on lol I didn’t like LA that much it was way too crowded for me omg but I’m not a fan of New York either and I feel like they’re similar 🤷🏾‍♀️ I would definitely go back and visit other parts of California tho!!

Station 19 6x13

Ugh. I hate how this show is getting a little better. Enough to make me excited every Thursday.

I hope they wrap up this major camping in the season finale. It's getting annoying. He always has a speech ready to save the day, and I don't care, honestly.

The video that Dixon made was so dumb. Twitter would drag that edit to hell and back.

I knew Eli and Travis was happening. I think everybody knew, they had more chemistry than Andy and Eli.

Vic is a better person than me because I would have broken up with Theo right there in that office. What's wrong with him? Beckett is out. They are investigating his neighborhood. What else does he want?

Carina, Ben, and Miranda were so funny. This is what I mean when I say they need to relax a bit. Yes, the subject was hard, but they were a great comedic trio.

Carina's "Oh" when Ben said Ben Deluca had me dying.

I love that Ben and Miranda didn't give Carina a speech about love or marriage, she just realized by herself that she needs to give Maya another chance and she is ready.

And those scenes between Maya and Carina had me twirling my hair and kicking my feet.

This was so soft and probably scary for her. Carina probably didn't sleep that night looking at her wife. It was so easy to let her in.

I like the space between them because it means Maya is respecting Carina's space. But she could have taken off her watch, the ponytail, her bell? She even slept with her shirt tucked in and probably her boots on too. I know she is in bodyguard mode but c'mon. Not even a blanket?

Then Carina got her defences up and told Maya: thank you, bye. One thing about Carina she is going to walk away from Maya.

But I'm very confused about how time worked in this episode.

Maya was on shift in the last episode, then she left to find Carina at work. So she probably took the day off and wait for Carina to get off shift and that's why she was still in uniform in the morning.

But in the morning, Carina was off shift, and Maya had work again. Ben took a day off in this episode, so it was another day?

I know this show doesn't pay too much attention to this but logistics is what I do for a living so.

Carina is stronger than me cause if she smiles at me like that I'd fold so fast.

"I want you to win me back slowly."

"Carina Deluca, would you go on a date with me?"

This is sick. I love them so much. The way they look at each other 🥺.

I don't know what kind of sacrifice they did in the writer's room but thank you. They are fixing the mess they did last season.

The last scene with Dixon had me thinking about a lot of things:

1. Those pictures are a way to show Maya's growth and to close the plot. Because they totally forgot that Maya was right about them, and Sullivan treated her like she was insane. I don't think Maya is going back.

2. We have never seen Maya driving. I didn't even know she had a car. I've always thought she uses her bike to go to work.

3. I don't care what they show us Maya has a Jeep. But when they go out they take Carina's car, even tho Maya is a better driver.

4. A lot of people still want a false negative for a pregnancy test she took 300 years ago. No, I know doctors are the worst patients, and Carina has been through a lot this season, but she would have noticed that something different with her body. They fix the relationship, and then they could try for a baby again.

5. Bring Back Maya's little backpack. I don't like this new bag.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Earlier today while I was reading! I cry very easily when I watch movies/videos, read books, hear touching stories, etc. Today though, I cried for a very odd reason (I didn't cry because something in the story touched me, which is usually why I cry while reading a book; I actually cried because I related too hard to the protag).

3. Do you have kids?

No.

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

I did a lot of sports during elementary school that I was bad at lol. I was never good at anything athletic. The sports I did the longest were swimming and tae kwon do (was at least able to get a first degree black belt before quitting).

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Hm, not too often, I don't think. My problem is that I'm too honest/blunt; I don't have the wit to be able to use sarcasm 😅.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Their face. And the thing I notice first about their face is their nose. I focus a lot on nose shapes lol.

Dark, dark, dark brown

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

Happy endings 100%!!! I'm not scared of scary movies, but I really don't enjoy them.

12. Do you have any pets?

No. I had two Zebra finches until pretty recently, but then one of them died, and I didn't want to get another finch (Zebra finches shouldn't be alone). We actually had gotten another finch after one died a few years back, and I didn't want to be in an endless cycle of getting a new finch every time one of them died. It was too emotionally taxing, and honestly, I don't think I'm a very good pet owner. I don't think I'm someone who personally wants to put in the time and care you should put into raising pets, so we gave the living finch away to a woman who owns several Zebra finches. And to be clear, it's not that we bought the birds and regretted them! They were given to my family because the original owner just had too many birds. I liked them a lot and wish I could've done more for them; I didn't really put serious care into them until later on, and I regret that a lot now. But the living finch is doing well in his new home now.

14. Favorite subject in school?

Literature. I did not have the capacity to pay attention during any class except in lit class because I enjoy reading and talking about books.

15. Dream job?

As of now, it's to be a children's novelist-illustrator (I don't want to say a writer-illustrator because I think that gives the impression that I want to write picture books, but I actually want to write middle grade novels with illustrations in them 😂). I finished a manuscript for a book a few months back, but it's taking me FOREVER to do the illustration part. So who knows when I'll actually finish it and if I'll actually be able to put it out...

Unrealistically, I really want to be a criminal investigator, but I don't think I have any of the skills needed for that kind of a job. And I know most criminal investigators start out as cops, and I know I don't have the skills to be a cop lol.

Mini Speaking Challenge!

My Norwegian tutor's away for the next two weeks (boo) and I'm left without a lot of opportunities for speaking practice. So! I've come up with a mini speaking challenge. If anyone wants to join me, feel free!

Official start date: Monday 13th June (I'm actually starting today because it's the start of my two weeks without my tutor, but I'll post everything a week late so it feels like I'm doing the challenge with you!) Of course you can join late or do this any time! It’s 15 days long, so it will end on Monday 27th June.

The Daily Tasks

Day One: Free Speaking

Introduce yourself or talk about your day or maybe some thoughts you have. Just go with the flow. This day is for you to see how you feel! Write down how you felt while speaking and what areas you think you need to work on. Then, set yourself at least one specific goal to focus on (e.g. improve my pronunciation of X sound, learn to differentiate between sounds X & Y, stop making X grammar mistake.) My suggestion is to pick 1-2 sounds, 1 specific grammar point or 10-20 words you want to learn (or a combination, of course). Try to refrain from setting lots of goals as this will be overwhelming!

Day Two: Research & Drilling

Try to find information about the sound, grammar or vocabulary you struggle with most. (If there are multiple things, you can work on multiple things, but it's a good idea to start by focusing on just one or two.) Find/come up with some tongue twisters/minimal pairs to practise that sound or write some sentences with your target grammar/vocabulary, then practise saying them aloud.

Day Three: Describe a picture

Find a picture on any website (unsplash, pixabay, pinterest, social media, news websites etc). Try to describe it: say what’s in the picture, what you think it shows, whether you like it and why (not). If you're a beginner, look up some words and phrases such as "there is..." and "I can see..." and practise saying them. You can describe multiple pictures if you like.

Day Four: Drills

Practise the drills/sentences you came up with on day 2. Maybe come up with some new ones too if you want!

Day Five: Parroting

Watch a short video or listen to a podcast in your target language. Try to parrot back phrases, words or even just sounds (depending on your level). Pay attention to intonation and rhythm in the sentences!

Day Six: Retell a Story

Think of a book/TV show/film and try to summarise the story or the premise. If you’re still a beginner, learn some book/tv/film genres and say which ones you like/dislike.

Day Seven: Drills

Practise the drills/sentences you came up with on days 2 and 4. Remember to reflect on your progress!

Day Eight: Free Speaking

Talk about your day/week/thoughts/any topic you want. Reflect on your progress so far (there might not be much/any at this point, and that's okay!) and your goals. Make some adjustments to your goals if you want (e.g. add some new words into the mix, focus on a different grammar point or focus on a different sound).

Day Nine: Read aloud

Find an article, a book or some simple beginner sentences from a textbook/website and read aloud. Make a list of new words/difficult words to pronounce/examples of grammar you often mess up.

Day Ten: Drills

Practice the drills/sentences you came up with previously. Alternatively, practice the words/sentences from the list you made yesterday.

Day Eleven: Would You Rather

Go to this website. Translate the Would You Rather prompts given, then say which you'd rather do and why. You can do this as many times as you want! If you're still a beginner, look up useful phrases or verbs for giving opinions (e.g. "I think..." "I believe..." "In my opinion..."), or just try to translate the prompts.

Day Twelve: Practice mouth shapes

Watch a video of a native speaker speaking your target language (choosing something that’s your level will make this activity easier!) Pay close attention to the person's mouth. Video yourself saying some of the same words/sentences. Watch both videos back and compare your mouth shape. Repeat the exercise, trying to mimic the native speaker's mouth shape.

Day Thirteen: Drills

Practice the drills/sentences you came up with previously. Reflect on your progress and come up with new drills/sentences if necessary.

Day Fourteen: Choose a Topic

Talk about one of the topics from the Speaking in 20 challenge week 2 (or any of the other weeks, or choose your own topic). If you're still a beginner, learn some vocabulary/simple sentences related to the topic and repeat them aloud. If you're more advanced, try to talk about one (or more!) of the prompts.

Day Fifteen: Reflect

Talk about the challenge (if you’re advanced enough - otherwise just write some thoughts in your preferred language), reflecting on your progress and general thoughts/feelings. Were the exercises helpful? What did you struggle with most? Did you make progress in the areas you wanted to? What else could you do in future to help you progress?

Red Hot Winter- Chapter 15

MAJOR Trigger warning: Attempted sui****, sex scene- minors dni If you need to, skip until Elijah and Elena leave the compound.

Chapter 15- "Family Politics"

It had been about 4 months since Klaus had to send Hope to live with his sister in England. Rebekah would send her brothers and Hayley videos and pictures of their heir, sometimes even calling Klaus when Hope wouldn't fall asleep at night.

Tonight was one of those nights.

Caroline found Klaus sitting on the rocking chair he built near the crib he and Elijah had put together months ago. The hybrid was on a video call with his sister, seeing his daughter looking at him with her arms stretched wide.

"Hopey, tell your daddy what you said earlier to me love!" Encouraged Rebekah, sitting behind her niece.

"Da..da" Hope mumbled. Klaus's heart was filled with love and a need to protect her. This wasn't how he wanted this to happen, but this was the price he had to pay for being king.

"My littlest wolf…" Said Klaus, tears falling from his face. He desperately wanted to hug her now. "I love you so much, my dear. I will bring you home, and I'll make everything better for you"

Caroline's heart broke for the man she loved. During the months Hope's been away, the Mikaelsons, along with Elena and Caroline had been dealing with the enemies the originals had made along their lives. Klaus was a man on a mission, he wanted the city to be safe for his daughter to return home.

Hayley on the other hand, barely spoke a word since her daughter was taken away. She'd spend the nights awake, but when she did fall asleep, she'd have nightmares of someone killing her daughter and she not being able to do anything about it. Klaus would then wake her up and support her through this process, even offering to compel her to fall asleep.

She wouldn't even drink blood had it not been for his insistence that she drank at least once every few days. The video calls with Rebekah somehow eased her pain, but she couldn't bear being away from her daughter. That's why Klaus, Caroline, Elijah, and Elena were working against the clock to make the city a better and safer place for Hope.

Klaus started to sing a lullaby to his daughter which made her fall asleep.

"See you tomorrow Nik." Said Rebekah.

"Rebekah, don't hesitate to call, and if you or Hope need anything…"

"I know brother." Rebekah hung up.

Klaus put his phone inside his pocket, realizing now that Caroline was there.

"Oh love." He said, wiping away his tears. Caroline sat on his lap, holding his hands.

"Don't Klaus, you don't have to hide your feelings or emotions from me." She said. "You're safe with me."

"I just miss her so much." Said Klaus, finally breaking, holding onto her for dear life. Caroline hugged him back, whispering sweet nothings in his ear, telling him he was a great father she loved him and he had forever to get to know Hope.

In the meantime, Elijah wasn't doing much better. He was inside his room, sitting on his bed, looking at a picture of Hope on his phone.

Elena got out of the shower, wearing a robe, his robe not hers, and sat down next to him. A tear escaped his eye, and that made Elena sit on top of him. Wiping away his tear with her thumb and putting his phone on the nightstand, she said:

"We're gonna bring her back, Elijah."

"I know, I just wish it could be a lot sooner." He said, putting his hands on her waist,

"I love you, Elijah." She said, pecking his lips.

"I love you too my lovely Elena." He said smiling. The sweet moment between Caroline and Klaus and Elijah and Elena was interrupted when they heard Bonnie shouting for help.

The four of them immediately went to her. The witch was desperately massaging Hayley's heart on the compound's floor next to the fountain.

"What happened?" Klaus screamed, immediately getting down to the floor. Elijah found a discarded syringe on the floor. It was the stench of vervain and wolfsbane and it was almost unbearable.

"Oh no Niklaus…" He said. "Vervain and wolfsbane."

"No!" Shouted Klaus. He bit the inside of his wrist and forced fed Hayley his blood. It took more than 10 minutes, but Hayley opened her eyes, taking a huge breath of fresh air. "Little wolf, why would you do this?" He said, his voice breaking, hugging her.

"I want my daughter back!" Begged Hayley, crying her eyes out.

Klaus brought Hayley to his room, laying her on the bed. Caroline gave her a blood bag, which she refused at first but Klaus convinced her to drink it anyway.

After drinking it she slept again. Caroline left the room to check on Bonnie, when she saw Elijah and Elena leaving the compound, holding hands.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Put an end to this." Said Elijah.

Elena and Elijah showed up at Francesca's house. It was night, and it appeared that the human was not waiting for anyone. Picking up a few rocks from the ground, Elijah threw them against the wooden door.

The vampires walked to the door, seeing Francesca show up with her pack.

"Elijah, Elena." She said, smiling. "I'm sorry for the loss of your niece."

"I'm sure you are." Said Elena. "But you don't get to talk about her."

"I can talk about whoever I want," Francesca said. "And truly wasn't my fault if Klaus doesn't read the spells of his mother."

Elijah looked at the doorframe, smiling.

"You can't come in without an invitation." Said the wolf.

"You and your family have been living inside this house for centuries now, Francesca." He said, smiling. "So when my lovely Elena suggested that we go to the town hall and ask them to make this building a historical landmark, I knew we had to. It would preserve part of the history of the town I helped build."

He took one step inside, being followed by Elena.

"It's not the full moon and my brother had the spell undone by Bonnie Bennet," Elijah said. He went to the wolf and held her by the neck. "You took part in the events that killed my niece." He said, applying more pressure on his hold. "And that makes you guilty as charge." He then snapped her neck, killing her instantly. One of her minions tried to stake Elena, who broke his arm. In quick succession, Elijah killed all of them.

Now there was only one other problem they had to fix: Cassie, the final harvest girl.

Elena and Elijah arrived at the compound a few minutes later. Caroline had taken Klaus out to distract him when Hayley was finally safe.

They got to their shared room, and Elijah took off his suit jacket, ripping his tie off himself. Killing Francesca and her pack did not diminish the feeling he had that something was amiss in his family.

Elena knew how it felt. No killing in the world would bring back the people they loved.

Taking off her clothes, revealing the white set of lingerie he bought for her a few months ago, she slowly unbuttoned his shirt, letting it fall to the floor, his pants and underwear following suit.

Taking him to bed, she laid him down, sitting on top of his body. Elena slowly started to kiss up his body, finally arriving at her destination.

Elijah looked into Elena's eyes filled with love and desire and he passionately kissed her lips.

He takes her in his arms, feeling her soft curves and slowly takes off her white lingerie, his hands brushing against her delicate skin, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake. He takes his time, caressing her body as he goes as she responds to his touch with sighs of pleasure. Their hearts raced as his hands slowly moved along her body and her lingerie began to fall off her. His lips against her own, their tongues entwining to create a passionate dance that sends shivers throughout her entire body.

Her moment of bliss is quickly extinguished as his hands start to roam south, exploring her with a tenderness that leaves her feeling loved and desired beyond belief. No matter how much they may have wanted to, they could never rush this moment, loving each other deeply and savoring every second together.

The sensation was so strong and electric that it caused her to tremble with delight. All the love and emotion they felt for each other was conveyed in this single moment and the intensity of their connection was undeniable.

Elena straddled Elijah and slowly lowered herself onto his arousal. She began to move up and down, her hips rising and falling in perfect rhythm with Elijah's thrusts. Her eyes sparkling with anticipation, she slowly moves up and down, their bodies intertwined in total harmony. She presses her palms against his chest, feeling the heat radiating from within him. She leaned in and kissed him, taking him deeper inside her. His moans of pleasure were the only soundtrack to their intimate moment. Her soft curves swaying to the rhythm of their lovemaking engulfed her in pure pleasure.

As their movements sped up, so did their breathing and they both reached deeper into the pleasure that was overtaking them. Elena clutched onto Elijah's shoulders and with each stroke, they moved closer and closer to their shared pleasure. It felt like all of time was standing still and the pleasure was becoming overwhelming.

Finally, as their breathing and movements intensified, they both reached their climax together and held each other. With a satisfied sigh, Elena collapses against her original. They hold each other close, in blissful afterglow, not being able to let go.

"You promised me you wouldn't let me fall." Said Elena, looking at him. "I'm not going to let you fall either, Elijah."

Elijah's heart might be aching for his family, but this time he had the love of his life with him to hold him back.

Caroline had taken Klaus to the same restaurant he had taken her when she first came to New Orleans to tell him about Katherine's fate. She was able to compel the waiter to give them a secluded table, away from prying eyes. They placed their order, and when the waiter left, she turned to him.

"Remember when you brought me here?" She asked.

"How could I forget love?" He replied, smiling at the memory. "It was the night you agreed to stay with me here."

"I was scared to say yes."

"Why?" He asked, caressing her face.

"I obviously wanted to be with you, and I know you'd always put me first no matter what, but I was afraid of how strong my feelings truly were."

"What about now love?"

"I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid of how much I love you, Klaus."

Klaus gently kissed Caroline, his eyes glimmering with emotion. His heart felt like it was going to burst with the intensity of his feelings for her. His lips tenderly caressed hers, sealing a love he'd never felt before in this life. This kiss was different from any they'd ever experienced. It was filled with pure, unconditional love.

His embrace around her is gentle and protective, yet his kiss is passionate and warm. Caroline can feel the love emanating from Klaus as his heart pounds against her own. She wraps her arms around his neck, pulling him closer into the kiss, savoring the moment. His breath is sweet and urging, his touch like no other. His kiss is full of love and adoration; they stay locked together for what seems like time passing endlessly. Caroline's heart races and she can feel herself melting in his embrace, her entire body trembling with emotion. They separated for a few seconds, Caroline seeing Klaus truly smiling for the first time in weeks.

He gently ran his fingers through Caroline's soft curls as he leaned in closer to her. She felt a warmth in her heart as he tenderly cupped her face in his hands and kissed her deeply. His lips were delicate, yet demanding, and as they moved against hers she could feel her whole body relax into the sensation. His rhythmic breathing, punctuated by soft sighs, enveloped her and she wanted the moment to never end. She felt herself sway in the sensation and her eyelids fluttered shut as her lips parted, meeting his in a passionate embrace that felt like the world was fading away around them. She felt the warmth of his embrace, a safe space where they could be completely lost in one another. Before eventually parting, the two exchange smiles, love apparent in their eyes. They pull away slowly, and the lingering taste of their combined love remains on Caroline's lips, embedded in her heart.

The waiter came back with their order, and Klaus couldn't help but imagine how much he wanted to take his queen and his daughter to restaurants, amusement parks, and wherever they wanted to go. Caroline did know that being Klaus's queen, would automatically make her Hope's stepmom, but she honestly didn't mind. Being with him was all that mattered.

After sharing the meal, they left the restaurant, holding hands to come back to the compound. In the middle of the walk, Klaus pulled her against his chest, putting a flower in her hair. She smiled at him.

"Thank you, my love." She said, kissing his face.

"Caroline, thank you." He said.

"What for?"

"For not abandoning me, for being with me in what is arguably one of the worst moments of my life."

She held his face between her hands, his hands going to her waist.

"I love you Niklaus Mikaelson. You're stuck with me, I'm not going anywhere." She said.

He smiled and kissed her again. This was one of the worst periods of his life, but Caroline was beside him, as his queen, and it was all he needed to withstand this.

At the Russo's, Sophie's bar, Cassie meets with Vincent and Kaleb.

"I'd forgotten how it feels like to be this weak mother." Said Vincent.

"At least you're not inside the body of a teenager, my son." Said Cassie. "You're brother seems to love his body."

"Of course I do." Said Kaleb. "It will make me less suspicious and I'm sure Davina will love this body, though is not as handsome as my previous body was."

"Your brother Elijah did me a favor by killing Francesca and her pack, though I certainly did not expect him to be with Elena." Said Cassie.

"It's Elijah, what did you expect Mother?" Said Vincent. "If you hadn't used Tatia's blood to create the vampires, he and Niklaus would kill each other over her."

"Well, at least she is the less annoying doppelganger." Said Kaleb. "I didn't like Katherine that much."

"Correct me if I'm wrong Kol, but wasn't she the one who killed you with her brother?" Said Vincent.

"Weren't you the one who was killed by the town human? You were barely out of your coffin and managed to get yourself murdered at the hands of Matt Donavan out of people." Said Kaleb.

"Enough!" Said Cassie. "With Francesca gone, now I can control the witches and werewolves, and we'll finally be able to grow roots in this lovely town." She finished, looking outside, watching Klaus and Caroline going by the bar, holding hands. "And I'll start by talking to Niklaus."
