a/n: this is from the same universe in my Boy Nextdoor Series, in this drabble yuuji is sukuna's baby brother, i mightve gotten a bit carried away while writing this

Neighbor!Sukuna who hangs out at your house constantly, whether it be for studying, playing a game, or having your weekly movie night, he's there almost 24/7

Neighbor!Sukuna who would always force you to partner up with him whenever a group project was assigned; he always played it off as "I'm just using you to get a good grade" — which is a total lie if you haven't caught on yet

Neighbor!Sukuna who discovered his love for whenever you played with his hair when you pushed him into the pool and had to blow-dry his hair as recompense

Neighbor!Sukuna who sometimes forgets that his friends were supposed to come over when you were already at his house

Neighbor!Sukuna who constantly teases you for the height difference between you and him

Neighbor!Sukuna who always walks you to class, even if it means being late to his [own classes]

Neighbor!Sukuna who, without a doubt, hates your friends, like absolutely despises them — this is because he doesn't like the fact that they take your attention away from him

Neighbor!Sukuna who has a hate and love relationship whenever you come over to babysit his brother when he's busy at basketball practice or something — he loves having you over at his house, but he hates that he has to miss seeing your smile and hearing your voice

You turned your head around to be faced with a surprised Sukuna. "Hey. Stop staring at me, Freak."

Sukuna would always roll his eyes at that, denying the accusation, but you knew the truth, though — and so did your whole class, maybe even the whole school too, your teachers included

Neighbor!Sukuna who gets on your nerves on purpose because he is obsessed, utterly infatuated with the cute face you make whenever you're mad

He thinks you're adorable when you're upset, especially when the cause is him

Neighbor!Sukuna who sometimes makes you a little too angry, resulting in detention for the both of you — however, he doesn't mind the extra time he gets to spend with you

susie DOES have complicated family issues in canon! it mightve been a while since you replayed chapter one but it's heavily implied that susie has neglectful parents and that the king of spades acts just like them.

oh yeah i know! her bio-parents are for sure still around lol, i've just not solidified my ideas for them yet. the way i'm thinking about writing her as of now (with the caveat that none of this is set in stone yet lol and in the very likely event that chapters 3 + 4 drop while im writing this i might change things up even more) is that she has at least one living biological parent...probably her father bc of spade king lol. but she was removed from his custody and placed into the foster system until he cleans up his act, but like, its implied he probably wont do that and would rather just Not deal with his daughter. (she was 100% neglected but i'll need to do a lot more researching and thinking before i fully have an idea as to what this life looked like)

so susie bounces around foster homes (for a time goes to the same middle school as kris! tho idk if this is before or after she's placed in foster care lol, even with her dad im sure they also tended to move around a lot, and i think its real fun if the one part of her life where things were good was with her dad, and so she hates that she was removed right when things were okay and she actually had a friend), and ends up in hometown as alphys's foster kid. i was thinking about the reasons WHY alyphs is fostering maybe having something to do with the amagamates, like, whatever that was in this universe leading alphys to wanting to get into fostering? but again. not solidified.

basically i think it would be a really interesting relationship....susie Does Not Ever see alphys as a mom lol, and for a long time they actually are very much Not public about this in school for. i think obvious reasons. its only revealed because noelle finds out from toriel (not on purpose toriel probably just accidentally said something and noelle put the pieces together) which im sure leads to drama between the two of them + ralsei, but!! the entire idea here is that a lot of this story deals with parental relationships, and what it means to like, be a parent. pretty much all the major parental players here didnt really 100% choose to have a kid, and they all react to that in very different ways.

so like, for susie's dad, it would be not only did he not choose to be a parent, he like, fully did not even bother to step up in even a small way. he just Sucked. but he's still susie's dad and i dont think she likes people pitying her, so she doesnt really like alphys and would rather get out of foster care and back to her dad even if he Sucks. but then contrasted against him we do have alphys who tries, and probably even dess but this is Not a post about dess i wont get into dess here.

but!! these are all very messy and half-formed ideas right now. for all i talk about this au i literally will not even start writing it for A While so a lot of my ideas are in that nebulous 'anything could change' stage.

☀️ What makes your OC genuinely happy? A person, an item, their hobby? Where is the place they’re happiest, or most at home? What is the happiest they’ve ever been?

short answer judy. kidding but in my mind its genuine connections with others that make my v happy, with judy, johnny at times. i wish i could think about this well enough to have given her some fitting hobbies but part of that i could make her actual history of like not having the time, not having the mental capacity to have any life outside survival really you have to have a home to have hobbies or a semi reliable place in my mind and what ive liked to expand upon the one line of flavor text about streetkid v she did not have this luxury most her life… no connection to anything . so id say its people that she really gets to know devoid of any business or 'use' in her mind, outside the 'world/society/culture' rules that she hates so much. as for where she is most happy i dont think its a place shes ever really found yet before the game or during. only after the end with judy when they both finally run away. i think they are very similar in their attitudes towards the society they have to live in to well, live. maybe the happiest my v has ever been was the decision to leave after the plot of the game in my head. freedom… no more uncertainty… or staying with something you hate and hates you because there are no other options that you have the means for. i definitely havent thought of a moment like in her past that she mightve been extremely content or happy at. but thats cause besides like 2 things i havent conjured much anything for her past lmao.

🌗 Early mornings or late nights? What do they spend their time doing during these hours?

definitely late nights to those early morning hours after whatever jobs shes done but also id say a night owl in general. depending on how shes feeling or what shes dealt with prior id say she either spends the time poisoning herself by whatever means she can find just to feel something, or something else...or thinking about what a life beyond all this might feel like. maybe thinking if there really is such a thing. probably spends most of it grappling with the good ol 'its not my problem'/'i can always do something to change anything i see' dichotomy. and those hours as johnny and her get along more might be filled with chatter n other such conversations... maybe sometimes they actually have fun talking to eachother too.

🏞️ If your OC could travel to anywhere in their world where would they go? Why? If they could live there would they?

hmmmm hard to say since the world of the cyberpunk ttrpg is fucked 6 ways to sunday... and i like the idea that my vs mind is so warped by the world she lived in most her life that any idea of a grand adventure or expensive vacation is hilariously lame n kinda sad. wherever she goes its gotta be with judy. having spent most her life in one place id say shed be open to anything as long as its not night city or north r south california. or maybe anywhere thats not the nusa too. i doubt i could think of an in character specific place besides maybe somewhere in europe on the few worldbuildy stuff that its slightly less fucked up than the nusa over there... slightly shed probably be drawn by the single fact that its not fucking night city lmao. but in my mind v wants to travel up to whatever tf is left of oregon cause judy wants to and judy has her grandparents there.

most the time when i draw my v with her hair down its cause its easier to spacially think of than the double buns… and sometimes i try to imagine her with much shorter hair but it feels weird… idk what style to really go for but im drawn to the idea of her hair changing at major points in her life expository stuff n whatnot so far her hair was cut once in her past not of her will but i want the second time she is 'in view' of the story to be at the end when she leaves with judy n panam. the only fact her hair was even double buns in the first place was cause thats what the v on the first playthrough i watched had for hair lol and obviously it stuck. i have had an in progress comic about the last mission choice where you go alone to arasaka and i remember sketching that out caused me such frustration cause i wanted it to be serious but having all ur hair just down and waving in the middle of combat doesnt seem practical and double buns i thought would just make the panels silly..

wait i think the fact that max schneider and his wife having that secret wedding that u mentioned at the time you met him might have to do with the fact that one time he said on an interview that his wife isn't american, and that one of his exes tried to get her deported and shit. idk i remember reading that and thinking it was the most bananas thing ever

this was in 2016 for reference. iirc i think it had to do with a music video. they were filming a mv (i forget which one) that depicted them getting married or some shit and i think the official story was that they were engaged and were going to announce their marriage with the video and they let it to slip they were actually married and his manager sat us all down and made us promise not to say anything or post about it.

maybe this is me playing 4-d chess and it wasnt that deep but i think it mightve all been a ploy to make us feel special and in on secret or something since the tour was about building a base and connecting by playing free shows at peoples houses.

we were all 17 and he was like a nickelodeon child star that was way past our time so literally everyone was only there because we all stanned pete an abnormal enough amount to care about his record label so idk who we were gonna tell.

it did work because we all got extremely obsessed with him for like 6 months and then we all got bored and moved on with our lives and forgot he existed. i did check up on him recently and he does songs with BTS yet was semi cancelled for saying an anti-asian racial slur and he and his wife follow pete's shrooms dealer on instagram

claviceps sp. is a fungi any old joe mightve heard about when looking at things like st. anthonys fire, the salem witch trials, the dancing mania of europe, etc. and as fascinating as it is that this fungi mightve been the real cause for those things, so could it have been various other things bc tho the climates for at least two of these events (that i know) was optimal growth time we. just. dont. know. science aint there yet pardner

theres also a funky guy that as my dear friend ava says "SQUART" does indeed just that. by spewing its spores into the lovely food of sick-ass livestock aka crops and grass and shit, it effectively passes entirely unnoticed through the mouth of the animal where it does nothin to the creature then gets lobbed in with excrement which is: their whole goal!! by scheming their way into poop they can now have a fun growing party as they break that shit (literally) down and feast on the herbivore poop. its pretty cool theyre called pilobolus kleinii (the most common) and theyre also nicknamed "hat throwers" bc they. throw their hats hehehehe

anyways theres actually a whole genus called the aspergillus and theyre. theyre a bunch of bastards mixed with like. the dude whos in soy sauce, the guy who features in toothpastes, and especially that famous fucker in inks (specifically dark inks). theyre like the "famous amongst humans" crew and then the fuckin types that can lead to like dying of asphyxiation. so yeah. like hollywood lmao. but also theres more so idk go for it look em up.

anyways these are a few creatures i recently came to know about and if u ever wanna learn about fuckin fungi start with the phylums and ull already see some bonkers guys

Writing Announcement:

Honestly yall should’ve expected this from me, i am who i am lmao. But I’ve made the decision to stop writing on tumblr for the time being, i might use my AO3 account or my wattpad and post my oc based stories or even just make all of my oneshots into those oneshot books people have. But I just don’t enjoy writing as much anymore nor do I have the time.

I am also considering just making my blog into a posting/shitposting acc and deleting my masterlists and fics overall, or just simply deactivating sortagaysortahigh and leaving her to rest in favor of making a new shit posting blog. Im not sure yet but idk tumblr used to be rlly fun but now its like i mightve actually outgrown this blog? Crazy how we can just outgrow things we used to love so much.

Yooo I love how Dabi is in the current chaps. A complete ass! How fun! I really do want him to care about his family still but idkk he chose outing endeavour (which needed to be done but the he did it hurt the family) over his family’s mental. Which SUCKS but maybe he’s so consumed by hatred for the man who hurt him it’s make sense. Him wanting to kill shouto tho ahhhh and he referred to shouto as like an object. Similar to how endeavour used to. So cool!! I love how it’s goinggg

OKAY i have some things to say.

• Its already been established that dabi prioritizes his goals over other people, as well as himself. But thats not to say i dont think he cares about the damage he could be doing to his family in this situation, we just dont know that yet, and i think people assuming it is kinda messed up. I cant really think of a way to expose endeavor to the public that WOULDNT hurt them at all, and its something that needed to happen eventually.

• Dabi is definitely consumed by his hatred, just like shouto was. Shouto closed himself off, he lashed out at people and even took his anger out on them, and made spiting endeavor his only goal. Dabi is doing the same thing, just on... a much bigger scale. And while shouto had a chance to change and heal, dabi never did.

• Dabi’s motivation for his original plan to kill shouto was spite. And not towards shouto, but enji. The whole reason that enji made shouto was so he could surpass all might, so once he did, dabi was going to kill him to completely destroy enji’s plan. But he ended up doing that on his own, even if it was pure circumstance. So he’s targeting enji directly now.

• And the line where he refers to shouto as endeavor’s puppet... yeah. That really is just how he sees him. He sees shouto following in enji’s footsteps without knowing his actual motivations and the decade of hatred for enji that led up to this. He doesnt know that shouto is doing this for himself and rei, not enji. He just sees shouto fulfilling his “purpose” without question, like a puppet. And i hope he at least realizes this isnt the case, and that shouto is like... a person who is doing things out of his own free will. Shouto made all of this clear not too long ago, which mightve even been a set-up for dabi’s assumptions about him.

(I like this scene a lot thanks for the excuse to post it again)

Ok so this is A LOT of requests and in the future I would like to ask people to limit their requests to three celebs at a time, but I’ve never said that before so it wouldn’t be fair to the person who requested all these. So yes I can do these requests. The only one I won’t do is Sean Young from Ace Ventura because her character in Ace Ventura is really really transphobic (or, more specifically, how that character is written). And I can do that specific Christina Aguilera one. Also since this IS so many requests I’ll probably be sprinkling them in through instead of doing them all at once, & I already wrote an Elizabeth Gillies one coming out towards the end of May.

Jhene Aiko yes. Jenna Ortega MAYBE. Jenna Ortega only JUST turned 18 and that was during the COVID-19 pandemic so there aren’t going to be a lot of projects where she’s an adult to pull from. So if I can find something maybe otherwise you might just have to wait a bit. Sorry if that’s a bummer. :/

!! thank you so much for asking i have so many thoughts it’s ridiculous (TヮT) under the cut for spoilers! (seriously, if you haven’t played the game yet, read this after!)

ok so this is one of the situations where my questionable taste is so obvious lol (ノωヽ) but my favorite was hugh! he’s so funny tbh... makes me think of the ‘clowns are funny but you don’t see me dating chuck e cheese’ post lmao though i have mixed feelings about the actual hugh route ;; but i loved the traveler one! that was fun (o´▽`o) second favorite is lugus - the heroine ending was my favorite mightve made me tear up (and also the first one i got)!

(oh and also tee is my daughter now. i would die for her.)

i will say though, i’m kinda disappointed in the story branching? on one hand, it did help the story feel natural, but i feel like when your game has a full flowchart there’s so much room to branch out (×﹏×) idk

all the levi stuff was wild too. not gonna lie i was very surprised that he was the black shadow! i went :O his route was cute though (￣ω￣)

i feel bad but i couldn’t really get invested in any of the lavan storylines (º □ º l|l) i was too overcome with the overwhelming feeling of ‘i don’t trust this man as far as i can throw him’ lol

lawrence made me want to replay black butterfly tbh. i forgot how much i love kagiha (｡- ω -)

then aprus and aria and backstory and wow. so much going on there... no specific thoughts but it’s so funny to me that hugh shows up to ask aprus’s name and he says ashen hawk lmao. salt in the wound.

also map mechanic > shooting minigame. rabbit cute. thank you for coming to my ted talk.

4. Hello! Do you know of a Hogwarts AU not so long after the war (in the fic the war is mentioned and Taehyung mentions Jimin’s family disappeared during it). Jungkook has a brother who is in St. Mungo’s, Jimin has some kind of motion sickness so he can’t fly but he loves quidditch, Jungkook is Ravenclaw’s seeker, and they’re all friends (even though VMin knew each other from way back, as well as Namjoon and Jin basically raised Jungkook). Jungkook is interested in creating spells and, when I lost it, they were suspecting Taehyung had a dragon. The fic does not have a summary, and it seemed kind of long-ish? Not 50K but it was at least +5K. I sorry for Bothering!~anon
