Those cute little pictures or videos of couples sitting on their partners lap while they do their makeup but now im thinking about it with having your fave do your makeup for you while you cockwarm them…

Your chest near crushed against his before you pull back, parting for air but also not really wanting to get too far into whatever he wants to do because you really do have somewhere to be. But he's so insistent but so are you and he knows when to acquiesce. Falling back into a slump with a lopsided smirk and hooded gaze and a cool, "why would I wanna be anywhere else than right here?"

And it is only a matter of time before the last period ends.

You shook your head and took his sushi. "I know how much you love that snack. I took it for you. And in return, I can have your sushi, so it's a win-win, don't'cha think?" He nods with rosy cheeks and thanks you, going to the table his friends sat at. They were watchign him with shit-eating grins. "L-leave me alone...!", he yells, but they only laugh at him. Meanwhile, he gazes at the snack on his plate lovingly. He had to marry you as soon as posible, that was for sure.

Mitsuri

She blames herself for what happened to you because she wasn't paying attention. She cut the demon's head off and threw her sword on the ground and ran over to you. "Darling!! are you alright!??! you didn't answer. She checked your pulse you were still alive so she picked you up and covered you in her haori. She didn't know if you would make it or not but she tried not to think about you not making it. She was able to get you to Shinobu and Shinobu reassured Mitsuri you would be fine but Mitsuri was still upset. You had gotten hurt because she wasn't paying attention. She was by your side the whole time you were recovering. You were unconscious for a while and even though Shinobu said you would be fine she was worried you wouldn't wake up. When you did wake up she immediately bursts into tears. "I'm sorry dear!!! I wasn't able to protect you I'm so sorry!!! Please forgive me!!" Obanai

He's so pissed at himself. He's normally pretty good at paying attention to your safety and his own safety but today was different. You both were fighting 3 different demons. He had already beheaded one of them and you beheaded the other. You were both struggling with the last one though. The demon you were fighting was a lower moon and was faster than the other 2 you had beheaded so when the demon snuck up behind you. You didn't have time to react and the demon attacked you. The demon escaped but he didn't care. All he cared about was getting you to Shinobu. He wrapped his haori around you and picked you up and ran back to the headquarters praying Shinobu wasn't out on a mission. Luckily she wasn't and she was able to treat you. He wasn't able to stay by your side 24/7 because he had to go train but he was with you most of the time. When you woke up he was just a ball of emotions. He started tearing up when he saw you open your eyes. "Welcome back dear.. You really scared me.. I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you"

Gyutaro

You Gyutaro and Daki fought together a lot. You stayed by Gyutaro's side a lot and Gyutaro is able to keep track of everyone's safety but you and Daki's safety is more important to him than his own. So when you were knocked down during a fight with 3 demon slayers because he wasn't paying attention he felt like the worst boyfriend in the world. He killed the slayers and ran up to you. Daki was there too and she was just as upset about it as Gyutaro she looked up to you a lot and was good friends with you. She didn't go up to you though. She knew it would be better if Gyutaro handled this on his own. You were a demon so he knew you were going to be alright but your leg had been chopped off and he knew you couldn't regenerate your limbs as fast as he could. You were able to regenerate your leg eventually but even if you could walk he still carried you back inside before the sun came up.

Enmu

Enmu gets distracted easily during fights which is why he doesn't like fighting with you because he's scared of something happening to you. But sometimes if you're on the Mugen train with him there's no avoiding fighting together. One night you both were fighting a group of demon slayers that had broken Enmu's curse and one of them had cut your arm off. You were relatively new to being a demon so your regeneration powers weren't as strong as other demons. So you couldn't do much you kept trying to get up but you were in so much pain you couldn't. "Don't" Enmu said to you when he saw you trying to get up. The reason you had gotten hit in the first place was because you had taken a hit that was meant for him. You jumped in front of him before the sword hit his arm. Enmu was able to kill the slayers and run over to you. Your arm had regenerated but you listened to Enmu when he said to not get up. "Don't do that again dear. I can regenerate faster than you can I would've been fine"

Also yes I used to draw Viggo's sword and shoes wrong because I used to think they looked better like that.

Viggo on the 3rd photo was ripped in half twice and is the oldest of them all, that's why it has tape and looks as dirty as himself in the series. I dunno why his head is so big tho he looks like a kid compared to Krogan

Laying on the futon and attempting to sleep was such a struggle, all you could think about was the demon. You didn't even know anything about him, and you were already wishing to see him. For what purpose? You were debating many reasons.

There was just a sense of wanting to speak to him, like you want to know the answer so desperately, be it wrong or not. And it was wrong, but you were falling for it. All you wanted was for him to answer you, but now that you're standing behind your restaurant waiting says it all.

That word that drove you wild was actually your reason for being out here so late in the night. Beautiful. That one word that drove you up that wall, a word you rarely received in your life, and it was killing you slowly. And yet, there was this feeling, like butterflies in your stomach erupting from their cocoons at the mere thought of him.

You needed this closure, this connection to confirm your everlasting feeling. A disgruntled sigh left your lips as you looked up at the moon.

It felt late, too late and you didn't want to be out here anymore. It's fine though, not like anyone is going to hurt you, right? You pursed your lips and your head lowered; your eyes now glued onto your feet. Your sandals, the only thing you kept after selling everything to make this happen, still fit you after a few years.

Momentarily closing your eyes, you sighed once more feeling a sense of dread. Maybe he's not coming and it's getting cold, so you didn't want to stay out here for too long. You opened your eyes to see another pair of feet right in front of yours, the grey feet shuffling. Your head quickly looking up to see the man before you, involuntarily, smiling at him.

His face scrunched up in delight at the expression you made, smile as bright as diamonds, eyes glowing like the moon and your beauty radiating as ever. He felt nervous now that he realized the position he was in. Like before, his hands were right above your head looking down at you as he was drowning in your expressions.

And there he was, confirming your feelings.

"I-"

"I'm so happy to see you again!" You interrupted.

"Eh?!"

"Honestly, I've been waiting for you for such a long time." You squealed, "I was worried you wouldn't come.

"I... I want to speak to you!" He yelled a little groan of embarrassment leaving him.

Your eyes widened and your lips were still curved into a smile. Oh, he likes that expression too. He's feeding off of those and he can't help but be hungry for more. He finally came to terms with it after watching you from his sister's room, his face growing smiles as he watched yours bloom.

"I wanted to talk with you as well..." You stepped closer to him, "It feels wrong but maybe we can go somewhere."

His hands left the wall and over to your shoulders, you didn't jump, and you didn't have that scared expression on you like before. He loved this one you had right now. Eyes half-lidded with a smile that can power a city.

"I also... want to be with you." He quickly muttered the last part, hoping you wouldn't hear it.

"Be with me?" You giggled as he looked away in embarrassment. "I don't even know your name."

He stopped thinking for a second. That was true, he didn't give you his name. Well at that moment wasn't the perfect time but it can be ignored.

"My name is Gyutaro." He responded, "And yours?"

"My name is (Y/n) (L/n). I hope we can get along."

Kny au where demons aren’t completely dangerous, just seen as wild, and need to be researched, so the slayer (now researchers or whatever) catch and tag them and stuff, BUT ALSO!!! BREEDING!!! BREEEEEDDIINNNGGGG

Just…imagining Gyu, Enmu, Douma maybe even Muzan himself, with little tag earrings got me thinking about what if they were already being researched and their powers were known, one of the researchers (Tengen, probably 🙄) went “hey what if they had babies? What if we just got these guys to fuck? Would their powers pass onto their babies?” And then they all look at you, another researcher or a demon currently being researched and bam! Ubuyashiki sets up a program!

You’re introduced to one (or all 👁👁) of them during their/your mating cycle, and you’re watched as you just get plowed into oblivion<3

Are they able to communicate with humans or are the primal and only able to converse with other demons? Idk I haven’t thought ahead, I literally just thought of enmu with a cute tag on his ear as it swung as he fucked into someone me with that blushy fucked out deranged face ok bye

Personal pain is that I never see a swap fanfic with daki and gyuutaro as the kamado siblings.

Likes Daki and Gyuutaro are just always pillars and it's nice but...

Incoming drabble idea below

Like it works so well with the idea of having gyuutaro as this poor boy who never had anything in life except for his own sister, and he was happy with with that, he would try and turn around, mend his ways as long as ume was happy with it.

Once their mother died, Gyuutaro had no need to be stuck inside the red light district, so he, with his little baby sister Ume, booked it out of that place immediantly where they were found by a farmer later on along their travels.

His name was Saburo, and he was a kind man who had no other relatives and choose to take them in without any prejudices, eventually gifting a small syckle and teaching Gyuutaro how to farm, while Ume was gifted a very lovely hairpin so she could feel more like a normal girl, since their family was always running low on food so they coukdnt afford the most expensive stuff. Either way they where still happy.

Of course that happiness is soon destroyed when a demon shows up, one that killed the old man Saburo and turned Ume into a demon.

Gyuutaro didn't even believe those tales that Saburo used to tell him, he still couldn't even as he tried to get his sister back from going feral, that is of course until he meets this demon slayer who is way too happy for such job and letting Ume live after she showed some restraint (that even Gyuutaro was surprised about) but it's not like the boy can do anything against him so on to follow that man!

Which leads them to an eternal paradise cult, filled with very happy followers, all of which are either doctors, new recruits or just kakushi (that act as normal followers because no one would think that a cult is actually part of a secret organization for killing demons yknow).

Gyuutaro trains, and is surprisingly spoiled by the followers due to his great talents in the sickle. (Ume was also spoiled, though she slept for a long while so the followers called her a sleeping beauty.) Already surpassing his seniors in skills but still not enough because even after his year of training, his body was damaged so much that his arms just didn't have the greatest constitution to carry a katana.

Which is why Douma introduced him to make a new breath, insect breath. That way he only needs poison to kill demons instead of beheading them.

Anyways the rest goes as follows:

-Gyuutaro avenging the deaths of Yahaba and Susamaru, a pair of seniors who died on last year's final selection. He gets to kill that old (tengu?) Demon to avenge Douma's students.

-Briefly meeting Oyakata-sama's only child who is wearing boy's clothing despite being a girl. Ah also the other survivors. One of them was really agressive towards him until he steps up.

-Ume on the first mission going ham on some swamp demons who wanted to eat small girls [possibly bringing back memories to the red light district demon which lurked around there and would have eaten them had they not escaped. Also she likes using her hairpin to stab demons.]

-The duo finding Kagaya, progenitor of demons, and then finding two rebel demons, doctor Senjuro and Aoi [bet Cha didn't see that one huh] and appearantly Senjuro has been a demon ever since the Sengoku era but has not once found a way to turn a demon into a human(even though he really REALLY wants to.) he was also the one to turn Aoi into one because she had almost died from a demon attack.

-Of course they later have to fight two weird looking demons that wear fox masks. But it was an easy task so yay!

-They later on encounter the always moody kid who had grabbed Muzan's daughter by the hair.

-He is somewhat fine, nice guy to be silenced around with. Doesn't ask why Ume is inside a box so that's good.

-Also meet another wird kid, that prodigy boy who after stopping him from attacking Ume's box, is somehow always talking about his family and how he always likes playing with his brothers and the card games with his sisters and mom's cooking and then Kaigaku just snaps like "If you like your family so much why not just go with them!"

"They are dead."

Gyuutaro: Outstanding Kaigaku, you ability to ruin the mood is faster than mine.

-Right, then they go to the Natagumo mountain, finding it surprisingly calm until its not when Gyuutaro and Rui find the corpses of their other demon slaying members.

-Kaigaku outhere somehow managed to find the second strongest of the demons called "Inosuke" who he kills but gets poisoned from one of their claws.

-Gyuutaro sets up to kill a demon child called "Sumi" while Rui has to kill two others "Kiyo" and "Naho" which due to their awful resemblance of his past family, making it really hard for him to kill any kids again, so the two girls are able to exhaust him with their blood demon art.

- Kaigaku is thankfully saved by The Sound pillar [quite a soft spoken but cold lady], and Rui by the Flower pillar.

-Gyuutaro and Ume, after a fight with the lower moon 3, are suddenly saved by the Flower hashira Douma coming in to save them. And unexpectedly, the demon doesn't even put up a fight and just decides to die???? Huh???

-Douma knows the demon woman? What?

-Before Gyuutaro can ask why that demon woman and his master know-knew each other, the Sound Hashira catches him and asks to explain it to her why he is letting the demon girl live.

-Ume now has to run away from Mukago, one of Sound pillar's, Nakime's students.

-Gyuutaro was ready to attack her but failed miserably and got KO instead.

-Before Mukago can land a slash on the now tiny Ume, a crow appears to tell them of the news.

"Ume and Gyuutaro are to not be touched! Caw! Kibutsuji's orders!"

-Mukago listened while dragging them out to be recovered.

-On the other side of the mountain, Douma was almost going to have his eye whipped out of him had the crow arrived a bit earlier. Thankfully Nakime decided to cooperate and let him go, but she, even with her emotionless face hidden by the long black hair, still gave off an angry aura.

The first to be dissapointed in Douma, of course, was none other than the eldest and most powerful of them all, as well as the most conservative and respected in the corps due to his lineage: Tsugikuni Michikatsu, the moon pillar.

Douma argued in his head that his younger brother would have accepted Ume, but he is taking that to his grave.

Hakuji, the stone pillar, didnt even try to hide his distaste for such a thing happening, and was the first to speak saying that such thing as protecting a demon is a clear violation of the corp's rules!

Managi, the water pillar, just kept looking at the kid while insulting his appearance in every form. Douma was glad the boy was still sleeping, though he will formally ask later on to "Shut himself up before starts fearing something worse than Muzan."

Zohakuten, the wood pillar, the youngest, didnt seem to give a single damn, he was actually more curious as to why Oyakata-sama was taking so long.

Enmu, the mist pillar, was carefully looking towards the scene with an amused smile, he actually seemed a little interested in this new boy.

Sekido, the lighning pillar, was ready to give a piece of mind to Douma.

Karaku, the wind pillar, was just looking over on his tree as always.

The sound pillar finally noticed Gyuutaro waking up and panicking, probably trying to find his friends and sister.

When Gyuutaro asks where he is and where are the rest, Akaza just tells him without any hesitation that he is about to be executed for disobeying the rules of the demon slayer corps.

And Douma is just like "Haha you funny man, there has never been a rule that says they will kill a member of the corps for helping a demon."

Akaza: " There is now."

Alright, so like the Pillar version, I made the reader a female to balance out the sausage party. The names were randomly selected as to who goes with who!

‘shake it up’ / Upper Moon Demons/Kibutsuji M. x Reader

As you stir awake, something feels incredibly… off. A pounding headache wracks your brain as you reach for your blanket, but it’s not there. In fact, you’re not even in bed at all. Stirring to consciousness, you sit up; numbness adorns your muscles, your joints stiff and creaky. Just what the hell did you even do last night? All you did was take down some pathetic slayer, sucked them dry, and had a hearty meal.

“My lord, are you alright?” a raspy drawl says.

Your ears perk up at the voice. Was that… Gyuutaro? What? Was he drunk off of a marechi or something?

With a groan, you drag a hand over your face; you come to an immediate stop, panic beginning to bubble in your chest. Your face didn’t feel the same. Hell, your hand didn’t feel the same. Pulling it away, you’re met with a pale, veiny hand, the long fingers adorned by perfect nails.

“What the hell happened to me?” you ask. The strong, velvety sound of your voice takes you aback. Why did you sound like Muzan? You look to Gyuutaro, a frown forming on your lips. “Gyuutaro, what’s going on?”

Gyuutaro raises his head; he kneels on the floor, his position in one that shows the deepest respect. He cocks his head at you, a curious glint in his eyes. “My lord, I am Nakime. I’ve… We Upper Moons have apparently switched bodies.”

Your throat goes dry. Nakime? Well, that explains the manners. Glancing down at yourself, you take in the fine muscles of Muzan’s body, the dark trail of hair leading into the hem of your pants. Wonderful – just fucking wonderful. You’re stuck in Muzan’s body.

“Nakime,” you start, “where are the others?”

“Allow me,” Nakime says. Quickly going to your side, she helps you a stand. It’s weird having Gyuutaro’s voice and body being so helpful. You never would have thought a day in your life you would see him with such an attitude.

You stagger on your feet, unused to the feel of his body. You feel… taller. Stronger. It’s strange, but you actually like it. Nakime leads you into a different room; from what you can see, you’ve somehow woken up in a section of Muzan’s shapeshifting manor. The floors seem to pulsate underneath your feet, almost like they know it’s Muzan who’s walking on them.

Up ahead, there’s a reckless clamoring; Douma’s voice shrieks in disarray, carrying on about how he wants his “luscious curves” back. The room falls silent as you finally enter, all eyes drawn to you. In an instant, everyone falls to their knees instinctively – well, besides you.

The hairs on the back of your neck rise as you stare at your own body. A scowl is etched into your features, your arms crossed tightly over your chest. Every single cell in your new body screams Muzan. You inhale sharply; you and Muzan switched bodies. What are the odds?

“What do you think you’re doing?” you – Muzan – snaps at the others. “I’m the real Muzan, not her.”

“My apologies, my lord,” Nakime says, paying her respects to the true leader with a deep bow.

You hastily follow suit, but then Muzan makes a sound of disgust. “Don’t ever do that in my body. People bow to me, not the other way around.” You shoot up to a stand.

“How did this even happen?”

Muzan clicks his tongue. “I don’t know and it’s seriously pissing me off.” He flicks his wrist at the others. “Get up. You all look pathetic on the ground like that.”

After the others draw to a stand, Nakime’s real body steps over to Muzan’s side. “How do you think we should deal with this?” The way she holds herself reminds you a lot of Kokushibou – of course, that makes sense.

“I don’t know about you guys,” Daki says, a mischievous grin splitting her face. “But I have boobs!” She cackles as she openly gropes herself.

“Fucking hell, Douma, you piece of shit!” Douma yelps. He makes for a wild grab at Daki’s wrists. “If you want to grope me you have to pay for it like everyone else!”

Akaza slaps his forehead. “Even in other bodies and they’re still idiots.”

Kaigaku hums his agreement.

Your mind reels at the whole situation. Douma and Daki switched bodies, okay; Douma is a pervert and likes to dick around, so that takes care of that. The sheer amount of sass radiating off of Akaza hints that Kaigaku is the one stuck in his body and vice versa. If Kokushibou is in Nakime’s body and Nakime is in Gyuutaro’s…. You look to Kokushibou’s real body.

“Gyuutaro?” you ask.

Gyuutaro looks to you, a bored look in his eyes. “Man, this sucks. How do you even see with six eyes? I feel like some sorta bug.”

Daki suddenly laughs, her hands clapping frantically. “That’s a good one, Gyuutaro! Calling Kokushibou a bug! I’m going to have to use that sometime!”

At Muzan’s side, Kokushibou grits his teeth. “One of these days I’m going to rip his heart out and leave him in the sun.”

“Will you shut up?!” Douma screeches. “Stop manhandling my body! My brother will kick your ass!”

As their bickering continues, Akaza steps between them and forcibly rips Daki’s hands away from her own chest. “Stop being so disrespectful, Douma,” he hisses. “I won’t hesitate to rip off your head again.”

You desperately look to Nakime. She merely shrugs, her confusion the same as yours.

Muzan rolls his eyes, but then he glances down at your body; something unfamiliar gleams in his – yours, actually – eyes, and he delicately traces over the swell of your breast through your kimono. He smirks.

You gawk at him. Oh, gods, it’s not going to be one of those days, is it?

a random assortment of open verse headcanons for akaza , douma , gyuutaro ( npc daki included ) , muzan kibutsuji , rui & new muse enmu .

because i have muses from the manga involved in these headcanons , be weary of the ones you aren’t familiar with as they do spoil a lil bit of season 2 ( specifically for gyuutaro & douma ) , but not that much . if you do not mind spoilers for demon slayer , you may proceed with no caution !

general info :

considering the timeline of demon slayer ( taisho era : 1912 - 1926 ) , i’ll be adding an extra hundred years to their chronological age to keep their origins as close to canon as possible .

missing person ? 9/10 times a demon ate them !

though the majority of the hc’s are carefree & light hearted — due to the nature of the series , general discussion of violence , mentions of manipulation & cannibalism will be present .

akaza

attending night school & taking some classes online , akaza recently started high school again as a student in his final year ( has done this around the 80s under a different alias & appearance ) . he is known for skipping classes & starting fights with other students . he has a jotaro kujo type of rep at his school .

he doesn’t really care about school all the much — mostly attending to play some kind of role in modern day society .

on the topic of fights , he often looks for them in the night life areas of the city — somewhere he can find a group of people to brutalize . he leads them to places where he can ( of course ) kill them without the possibility of prying eyes .

he has a soft spot for animals ! one rainy day , he found a stray cat & decided to take him in & raise a lil guy ! his name is hanabi .

he drives a motorcycle . what kind ? not sure yet !

on more than one occasion akaza beats the shit outta guys who stalk or harass women in many ways . this has led him to getting random gifts of gratitude when they find him again — stuff he REALLY doesn’t want to accept , but does to show show thanks .

really wants a hedgehog .

douma

he is still a cult leader in the modern day , but does other things on the side ! his cult looks a bit different than it did in the past . it’s recognized as a more of a spiritual group or collective revolving around self improvement , rather than a religious group or something .

he also plays the role of a swindler , sweet talking his way to riches & increasing his follower count .

aside from the fact that he HAS to be out at night , he really does enjoy the night life . the lights are exciting & the general atmosphere of people having a good time suits him .

enjoys going to a particular coffee shop on cloudy or rainy days , though he only goes there to sit in the lounge & not drink the coffee . buys sweets here & there then offers to pay the person behind him a treat too ( he’s really flirty with people ) .

for the past hundred years , douma has expanded on his collection of skulls from his victims . he has found an interest in morbid occult things , such as ; specimens ( animal skulls , animal organs , animal parts in general , bugs & other oddities ) , shrunken pygmy heads , taxidermies & other things of this nature .

he is extremely fascinated with other cultures & how they deal with dead bodies & has spent years researching about it . what is he looking at in those cafés ? possibly morbid shit ( he’s got a vpn ) ! because of this , he really wants to visit egypt to see a mummy .

kinda wants to attempt mummify someone or turn then into a taxidermy . maybe a doll .

gyuutaro & npc daki

going off of the lil extras that are provided at the end of each book , gyuutaro — like akaza , goes to night school & rides a motorcycle !

in japan , there are these services where you can pay to go out on a date with someone . daki does this instead of being a courtesan .

gyuutaro always stalks her while she goes on these dates so no one does anything that wasn’t agreed upon .

being the one who counts the money she earns , gyuutaro is really REALLY good at math . on that note , his organization skills when setting up an equation — PERFECT ! he’d be a perfect accountant !

on that note ... daki is sooo confused with that stuff . she’s not very good at math & would ask for his help but it would always end in a shouting match .

gyuutaro wears a mask to cover his face whenever he leaves the house in his human form . this is mostly to cover his face because he’s insecure about his appearance .

when paying for something gyuutaro has to build up the courage before he approaches the cashier .

muzan kibutsuji

muzan still out here living multiple lives ! one of which , a young gothic lolita who was adopted by a socialite family .

muzan is one of the few demons who leave while it’s a partly cloudy day . he uses a cute goth lolita parasol to reflect the sun !!

this persona , he goes by the name of keina ( last name wip ) & is considered to be a prodigy in replicating the art works of a famous pottery artist in the tiasho era ( this is reffering to gyokko who still makes pots for muazn to take credit for under the guise of keina )

in the persona muzan has when he is a young man he is the owner of a museum .

rui

rui is one of the demons that hasn’t really adapted to modern society . while he knows about cellphones , the internet & all that — he doesn’t really care to move to the city .

his presence & house in the forest is recognized as a famous urban legend on the internet : one about people who get killed by the ghosts that haunt the area . the general public believe that people just go missing or presumably get killed by wild life or eventually succumb to the elements .

while he doesn’t go into the nearby town too often , he does just to wander on occasion & doesn’t mind being spotted by people ( they often run from him thinking he’s a ghost ) .

enmu

enmu still works as a hypnotherapist who eventually tortures & eats his patients but he also finds his victims at places like train stations ( a place he likes to be for some reason ) .

enmu has a fascination for trains & you bet he collects train models . big big fan of those lil models .

he loves watching disturbing movies . while he is very chill about most things , this is possibly one of the few things he can get serious about . yes , knowing that the things that are happening in the movies are fake , but a movie with good acting that appears believable — he absolutely loves . what he loves more is showing the average person to watch their disgusted reactions .

& yes , he likes disturbing movies but there are some he does view as trash because is wasn’t good in his eyes . A Serbian Film would fall under this category for him .

this is him — THIS POST IS ENMU !!

he was a theatre kid . he likes musicals a TON !

has a pet spider , mostly to disturb certain guests . even inciting the most subtle disturbing feeling in someone is ecstasy for him . it’s like playing mind games with them , the way he treats every interaction .

he actually has obsessions with idols & collects albums , posters & the like of his favs . if he could , he would turn his favorite idols into demons & have them serve him ( kinda like rui’s situation with his family — though enmu would be far more cruel & subject them to more torture ) .

Roleswap AU!

So this time I’ll be describing the hashira in this AU. Things to note:

-Akaza/Hakuji is married to Koyuki in this AU

-Douma’s Enternal Paridise replaces the butterfly mansion

-Kokushibo was friends with Uta (will describe her next chapter ;>!)

-If I have (?) next to their role, it means I might change it

Ok time for descriptions!

Kokushibo: The Moon Hashira. As I said in the last description post, his real name is Michikatsu Tsugikuni and has a reason why he uses Kokushibo. So I picture it as him and his younger brother, Yoriichi, both passing the final selection and eventually becoming demon slayers. He met Uta in his childhood and she lived with Yoriichi. One day, they came across a powerful demon at the house and Yoriichi told him to run and he’ll take care of it. Koku actually ran and never saw him again. He felt ashamed of himself since he admired his younger brother so much that he changed his name so it wouldn’t be a burden to him anymore. I think that’s how he would have met Urokodaki when he was trying to find help and became friends with him. He created his own breathing technique along with his brother.

Douma: The Ice Pillar. He is pretty much kinda like Shinobu in this AU. He still uses his fans and they’re sharp enough to kill demons. Douma runs the Enternal Paradise still, which replaces the Butterfly Mansion in this AU. He plays off on having emotions, where in reality, he can’t really feel them and just tries to play them off. Nezuko spots this and explains why he’s lying about his emotions is because he was pushed to become a cult leader by his parents, since he had rainbow eyes, which they believed were special. Some time after he became a Hashira, he found Gyuutaro and Ume/Daki wandering together. Douma takes them in and offers them to become demon slayers and hopes they can become hashira. He tries being friends with Akaza, but he hates Douma.

Akaza/Hakuji: The Muscle Hashira(?). As I said earlier, he’s married to Koyuki! He became a demon slayer to protect the people he cared about, after he lost his father. He went on the streets and Keizo took him into his dojo, where Akaza(Hakuji at the time) met Koyuki. In the dojo next door, the person sent Koyuki out, which gave her an asthma attack. Hakuji came running towards her aid and brought her inside, saving her life. Eventually, they got engaged and married. Hakuji changed his name to Akaza and started his new life as a demon slayer and a husband. He promised to protect anyone and put others before himself. Nezuko admired his ability to protect others and asked a lot of questions in the train. Akaza despises Douma because of his personality and how he is always bothering woman (because of the cult thing). I think he uses clubs to beat up demons so they can’t regenerate fast enough.

Hantengu: The Emotion Pillar(?): So I struggled with him ;-;. I think his emotions are like his personalities and he’s switching between them left and right. He really only spends time with Gyokko, who always treats him like a friend. I think he lived a harsh life with people constantly taunting him of his personalities, which made him very worried all the time. Muzan came in and saved Hantengu and asked him if he was willing to become a demon slayer, which he accepted. I think his weapon would be a spear that’s able to distract demons and uses a dagger as a last line of defense (?). He his the oldest out of all the hashira. (Like I said, I had a hard time with him).

Nakime: The Music Hashira. She is pretty distant from the other hashira. Rarely interacting with the others and keeping to herself. I think I’ll have it where she’s probably only close with Ume since they’re the only girls. She still has her biwa and plays it during the hashira meetings whenever Muzan isn’t here yet XD. So for Nakime’s backstory, she had an incident with her eyes and his made her blind, so she hides her eyes with her hair. I think someone or one of her family members were jealous and scarred her eyes and made her blind. Muzan came in and took her in. Nakime plays her biwa against demons to make them confused and when her chance is right, she cuts their head off with a katana she has (she uses her senses to find her way around)(?).

Gyokko: The Fish Hashira. I also struggled with him ;—; (not as much as Hantengu tho). So he wears a mask that have mouths in front of them that covers his eyes. He does because he says it’s a work of art✨. He calls himself an artist and loves it when people give him inspiration. Maybe in Gyokko’s past, he was rejected for his art, and people called his work “ugly.” He ran away and took all of his art and had nowhere to go to, until Muzan showed up and helped him. He admired the Kamado siblings and their bond together that it gave him some inspiration to do art on them. He creates pots and paints on them. Gyokko is pretty close with Hantengu, as he admires Gyokko’s art and that it makes him calm.

Daki/Ume: The Ribbon Hashira. HONESTLY ONE OF MY FAVORITES SORRY! So Daki is Gyuutaro’s younger sister and she’s the youngest out of all the Hashira. In this AU, she’s 13 since in the wiki, it says she was canonically 13 when she became a demon, but in the Kimetsu Academy thing, it states she’s 16 (I NEED A CONFORMATION AGE-). Daki and Gyutaro were born in the lowest caste of the Red Light District. She took the them Ume to Daki because of her birth mother dying and she had the same name. She shared a close bond with her brother Gyutaro, who promised to watch over her. One day, Daki fought back and stabbed one of her customers in the eye and was getting ready to be thrown into a ditch to die. Luckily, Gyutaro came back in time and saved his sister by stabbing the man trying to drag her into the ditch. The two then began wandering all over, until they met Douma and he took both the siblings in. Daki looked up to Douma as a father-figure.

Gyutaro: The Blood Hashira. He’s Daki’s older brother. Gyutaro describes her as his “pride and joy” because Daki was the only one that he really cared about. He was called “ugly” around the district by people because of his birthmark and they way he looked. Eventually became a collector for Daki once she was in training to become an Orian. After he finished collecting, he witnessed Daki being dragged against her will to a ditch, where she would be burned. Gyutaro quickly rushed over to Daki and kocnked out the person dragged her. They both ran away together and Gyutaro cared Daki on his back all the time. Like I said with Daki, they met Douma and took them in to become demon slayers. He always thanked Douma for all he did, even if Douma didn’t know how to process it. Admires the Kamado sibling’s bond and was a little jealous at first because they lived a life that he wanted for him and his younger sister.

Kaigaku: The Thunder Hashira(?). So Kaigaku has Marechi in this AU because he tried to prove to everyone that Tanjiro couldn’t be trusted. He get irritated easily and is a bit of a hot-head. One of the newer Hashira. Kaigaku knew Zenitsu (who’s a demon in this AU) and pretty much trastee and bullied him like in the manga and anime. He became regretful of his past actions towards Zenitsu and hoped that he could meet him again and apologize for all the things he said. Zenitsu however, got turned into a demon by Shinobu and took the place of Upper Moon 6 during the infinity fortress arc. I want to try and make it where he meets Gyomei too but we’ll see.

The living conditions of the Upper Moons headcanons

Daki&Gyuutaro

This one will be short since we know quite a lot about them. They’ve lived in the red lights district for their whole lives. In the streets and usually with little more than just their clothes on but they had each other.

They stayed in even after they became a demons. No surprise, there’s plenty of food and nobody will really care if a couple girls disappears.

They don’t have separate rooms of course. These two are literally inseparable so of course they wouldn’t bother with something like that. There’s nobody to tease them about it either since people are not aware of there even being two of them and as for their fellow demons, those just don’t care. Except maybe for Douma but he wouldn’t tease them about it.

We got to see their room so there’s not much to be said about the decorations either. Daki is a stylish girl and she likes to show it off even in the way she sets up their room – even if nobody much gets to see it.

Kaigaku

He never really had much of a home per say. He became an orphan at a young age (if he wasn’t abandoned as a baby already) and then was chased out of Gyomei’s temple as well. Jigoro took him in but unfortunately enough, that relationship didn’t really work out either. Strangely enough, he felt most at home when he was outside, travelling from one mission to another.

After he became a demon, he stayed with Kokushibou for a short period of time but that was just before Muzan approved of his existence. After that, he had to find his own territory – which wasn’t really too hard anyway. He picked a run-down old house as his shelter from the sun for the day but he didn’t really care much how it looked, at least not at first.

It’s not that he wouldn’t like company but there’s not really anyone to share his place with. Humans wouldn’t hang out with him, other demons literally can’t. Other Upper Moons won’t.

He first didn’t care at all how the place looked but after some time, he decided that since he didn’t have anything to do during the day anyway, he could at least try to decorate the place a bit. So while the sun is up, he does little things inside, like sweeping the floors or painting the walls. He even learnt to sew to make curtains. And at night, when he’s not out hunting, he does other reparations. Even he is surprised by how much fun he can have, giving the place a personal touch.

Gyokko

Being an artist, it’s not unlikely that he lived in an open, arid room before he became a demon. Lots of sunlight too. And occassionally, a companion or two but those never really stuck around for long. His place was filled with various unfinished art pieces.

Now that he’s a demon, he can’t have the luxury of a sunny appartment. His pots, however, work as a little pocket dimension so that’s an upgrade? Of sorts? It doesn’t really have a set shape either, it’s a little bit like Nakime’s Infinity Fortress but shapeless, like the walls are made of water or another liquid and constantly change form.

He lives with plenty of goldfish. The entire place is nearly filled with aquariums of various shapes and forms. You know how people make mazes for hamsters, guinea pigs or even cats? Well, those are nothing when compared to the lengths Gyokko goes to for his fishies. It’s not just glass, coloured or plain, either. Sometimes he would use the nichirin blades or pretty hairpieces of his victims’ to decorate the elaborate fishtanks as well. If a human ever strays in, it’s the last thing they say.

Gyokko LOVES decoration. Aside from his fishtanks, he has numerous statues, paintings and just about everything else you can think of. Both handmade and stolen. For his handmade art, he usually uses bodies or bodyparts of his victims, possibly their blood too. It serves both as an artpiece and a food reserve just in case he ever gets to a position where he’s forced to starve. Surprisingly enough, his pots are great at preserving things. Oh, and let’s not forget about the amount of detail he puts to the exterior of his pots!

Hantengu

Back when he was a human, he didn’t really have a home, naturally. He couldn’t afford it. And most people wouldn’t let him stay more than one night, chasing him out often with sticks and stones. He had to travel all the time and preferably somewhere far away where the rumors about him didn’t reach yet. Due to this, he becomes restless when he has to spend a long time in one place.

Now, as a demon, he also doesn’t stay in one place all the time. He usually sneaks in a house, kills the family and stays there for a few days before moving on to the next one. Some of his other personalities, namely Sekido and Karaku, find this a little useless and bothersome but they wouldn’t really fight him on it.

Speaking of whom, his other personalities split when they have time to be alone as well, taking care of him and the house. It’s a great way to keep him safe as well since at least one of them is always on guard for possible intruders. They get along... somewhat well. There are the usual conflicts between Sekido and the others. Karaku is careless about their cover, Yoroko likes to make pranks on them and Aizetsu tends to lock himself in his room for hours on end. Poor Sekido is left with the task of housework, making sure they don’t get discovered too soon, acting as the voice of reason... and he still has to go out hunting and stay on guard when it’s his turn.

Yoroko likes decorating stuff and Karaku loves to watch him but their taste is strange to everyone but them. Surprisingly enough, Hantengu as well as Aizetsu both can actually create rather beautiful tapestries and Zohakuten sometimes paints when Sekido is just too done with the three useless dorks.

Nakime

She used to be your typical hikikomori. Nakime spent all her time in her room, with nothing but a pile of books and her biwa. It wasn’t a big room either. While her room did have windows, she prefered them covered and read in the light of an oil lamp. As expected, it wasn’t too good for her eyes...

She lives in the Dimensional Infinity Fortress now. A place she can fully control and knows everything about, one that bends to her will and where she can transport anyone anywhere at any time, just as she wants. The only exception seems to be Muzan who comes and goes as he sees fit (at least until the current arc but y’all already know how I feel about that). It’s not that she minds it, she still knows where and when he enters and leaves and even if she didn’t, it’s not like he would ambush and kill her for no reason (right?).

Despite providing rooms specifically suited for the Upper Moons, she much enjoys her solitude. Even when they’re in and she has to keep an eye on them (I’m sorry, I’ll stop with the puns now), she keeps her distance. Try to annoy her, or even just seek her company, and you will mercilessly get thrown out. An exception, again, is Muzan. He doesn’t live there with her though and only seeks her out when he has work for her to do.

Decoration of the rooms varies greatly, mostly based on what are they used for. Most of the Fortress is not decorated since Nakime sees no reason to waste time and effort on that. However, there are special parts that deserve special attention. Just as an example, there’s Muzan’s upside-down lab, Douma’s lotus pond, that traditional japanese area Kokushibou first appeared in... And of course, the execution platform that’s now decorated with the red of the Lower Moons’ blood.

Akaza

Again, we have a very good canon idea about his life as a human. First living with his father and then spending some time in the streets, he eventually ended up staying at Keizo’s house, taking care of Koyuki. He had his own room there too but it didn’t really matter because he spent most of his time by Koyuki’s side anyway. Rumor has it he dragged his futon to her once when she was having a nightmare and never moved out until she got all better.

He’s pretty much a street rat as of now, looking for challenges and new foes to fight for the most part. During the days, he usually stays still outside, in dense forests or deep caves. He’s not particularly picky. Sometimes he stays there during the night too, setting up a campfire and waiting for someone to wander close. For some reason, he doesn’t really like cities, especially during the festival season.

So yeah, he lives alone. At least usually he does. It’s not all that rare for Douma to find and bother visit him. He doesn’t want company. Getting attached would make him weak. The more people you care about, the easier it is to take advantage of you.

The only thing he cultivates in his surroundings is his own body. No, I’m not talking about the tattoos, though those certainly are a decoration as well. Rather, it’s his muscles and strength. However, he still prefers to have some manners over raw power, hence why he keeps refusing Douma’s more than generous offers to hunt down some girls together even if that could make him stronger.

Douma

Grew up in the temple in the forest. High up on a mountain overlooking a small town, it’s not a place with the most access to society. But cults are usually like that. When he was about three years old, his father planted two magnolia trees in the courtyard so that the place is a little more lively and the trees can grow tall to provide lots of shade in summer since the sun could be quite annoying. If only he knew...

Loyal as he is, Douma stays at the temple even now. He had it expanded a little and even had a lotus pond build right behind his room so he can calm his thoughts at least a bit after every session. He used to need it more than he does now, especially since he now also has the one made by Nakime that is way better and more spacious.

Canonically, there is at least one temple servant staying with Douma at the temple. But honestly, it wouldn’t be quite like him to satisfy himself with a single person. There’s probably a number of people taking care of the place, both temple servants and maidens. They also serve as a source of entertainment and possibly even as a last-resort snack just in case. There also used to be Kotoha and Inosuke for a short period of time but well...

While he is quite childish and it might sound just like him to go overboard with decorating stuff, that’s not entirely true. Really, the most he has is the skull closet with engraved golden door. That and the pot in which he planted Kotoha’s head but that one is a gift from Gyokko so it doesn’t really count.

Kokushibou

As with most of them, we were blessed with enough info on Kokushibou’s, or rather Michikatsu’s, homes. Growing up a samurai, he never had time to spare, little to no friends and a bride who was most likely found for him without him having any say in it, it’s really not that much of a surprise he would elect to leave it all behind and become a demon slayer since it gave him significantly more freedom.

Even as a demon, not much have changed. During the day, he stays at a mansion like the samurai lord he is, and at night, he goes out to hunt down the pests in the area, more often than not treating himself with a bountiful feast while he’s at it. He also has a room in the Infinity Fortress but like the majority of the Upper Moon demons (actually everyone but Douma), he enjoys his solitude way more.

He has a few servants at the mansion. Ones that get replaced every once in a while when they mysteriously disappear. But the salary is high enough to let any major rumors die out in a blink (I know, I promised, I’m sorry) so the most he has to deal with are whispers about him overworking his servants to the point where they rather abandon the money and run away under the cloak of the night.

You would probably find the house eerily plain but he’s used to it. The backyard is where he spends most of his time aside from his room and those two are the only actually decorated places in the house. And they’re still kept neat and practical for the most part. He rarely has anything that wouldn’t serve a purpose, both when it comes to items and people.

Imma rant about things I'm salty about from the demon's side.

Muzan you idiot you could have ruled the world with what you had at hand yet didn't use it in the best way because your mind was too focused on other things to care.

Here let's start with the weakest things you had close to you and didn't take any advantage of em:

Honestly, I feel like Nakime Should have received the tittle of lower moon at least, a long time ago. She served Muzan, has a pretty awesome blood art that can be used as offensive though it's better defensively and it doesn't need a lot of power to be kept, as far as it's been seen the only thing that would bring her to a disadvantage was if the other party had a heavily dosage of superspeed.

Rui, boy how can you not love Rui, he had the one thing all demons had lacked and that is cooperation between demons. Had he brought another lower moon to his side to help in Natagumo mountain Tanjiro and his friends would have KO. Alas he was too weak for hashira but he could still have given a harder time to the kamaboko squad.

Enmu was too good. That or Rengoku why did you just wait for to appear come on. Either way with his blood demon technique he could have easily made everyone go into an unconscious state, he probably didn't even need to enter the dream state, just get a knife and stab it. Though it does come with a lot of disadvantages and that is 1) if they could feel it's presence before the art works, 2) if they could shut their ears fast enough [kinda like how Rengoku did it in his first mission], 2.5) if they where blind [but then it all trails back to point 2] and 3) if they could wake up from the dream, which, like, between I believe it or not because the only one to get up was Tanjiro due to protagonist armor, meanwhile Rengoku, a whole hashira was just...moments. I guess unless it was Himejima, he could have really made at least quite emotional damage to the other hashiras. [Oh boy I wanna write about that angst.]

Tamayo, this is going to be heartbreaking for me to say but why didn't Muzan try to change his memories? Huh? He changed those of Akaza why couldn't he just create new memories that Tamayo's family was slaughtered by humans and then bam, secured ally or smth. Honestly at this point it's like he is asking to be betrayed.

Daki could have been stronger too, just give her some blood, come on, you wasted your blood on demons that are so filler they are used to train students. Please. Give Daki a bit of more blood and she wouldn't have to be leeching of Gyuutaro. They could have also held different ranks, I didn't really see the reason as to why they didn't apart from just stating how close they were. Maybe the ranks also have to be in different sections of tokyo? Idk.

The rest upper moons are great enough, I don't think I could have a lot of problems with them, maybe tell Gyokko to shut once in a while and finish his job, but out of that everyone's powers seem to be good.

Which is why I'm over here. Sitting. In PAIN.

Seriously Muzan you have this arsenal of demons, get the pillars one on one with the demons, you need like Kokushibo and Nakime and bam they be dying.

Also why didn't you, Muzan, who holds literal power over all demons, couldn't use their powers? Couldn't use the black thorn whip again? ;-;

I know really, the whole ending was rushed, for the last part at least I understand, but for the rest it really is Muzan you coward, had 1000 years and five brains but no braincells.
