Okay so I'm super happy that there's someone who knows about Supa Strika's . Would it be to much to ask for some more head cannons about Twisting Tiger and Miko with there S/O? Maybe with a childhood friend they use to tease?

This idea rocks!

Twisting Tiger

Twisting Tiger is one of those people who has a handful of friends, but the ones he has he’s extremely close to. A friend who's been there from the start, through thick and thin, is someone he is point blank ride-or-die for at this point. It’s a surprise to exactly 0 people that those two are dating.

The relationship actually took a while to get off the ground specifically due to his teasing. It definitely made s/o’ heart flutter, but the joking made them think that Tiger was just that - joking. And he never saw them make mention of their own feelings so he wasn’t sure if they had similar feelings. They trapped themselves in a will-they-won’t-they for so many years. It wasn’t until a little before Tiger tried out to be part of the League that they finally got together.

S/o or Tiger are equally as likely to have been the one to confess - it really boils down to which one is the more reckless one. If s/o is bold though, they will get a pretty good reaction from him that they can and should remind him of later. Repeatedly.

“I LIKE YOU-” “WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING IT-?!”

A dash of competition makes any relationship fun. A race to get the most groceries in is a weekly occurrence, with dish-washing duties on the line. Neither party is above cheating. Twisting Tiger would like to think that he is but S/o has caught him feigning tripping to get a leg up.

‘Time spent together’ is the love language at the core of this relationship. He is not much of a talker, and values both his and s/o’s privacy a lot leaving physical affection as a thing done at home rather than out and about. Sometimes love is just sitting on the couch together, each reading a different book, enjoying silence. Love isn’t always loud.

The team 1000% thought that those were just friends. Both of them are casual and relaxed around each other, acting like best friends all the time. Even their texts (at least Tiger’s) aren’t really lovey-dovey. The inside jokes didn’t help that impression go away. The only one to really know what was going on was Cool Joe, only because of his keen eyes. No one believed him but it was the easiest bet he’s ever won.

Miko

This man used to be the quiet kid in class who tended to be deep in thought. S/o befriended this introvert as the true extrovert that they are and they have been friends ever since. Miko has long since become much more open and confident, willing to express his opinion if the situation calls for it, but s/o has plenty to tease him about.

There are a lot of inside jokes and back-and-forth teasing, all the time. You’d think S/o would be the one doing so all the time since Miko exudes ‘responsibility’ but he will jab back. It’s sudden and sharp and it hits when s/o leads suspects it. They once nearly shot milk up their nose because of one of his surprise jabs making them cackle.

Miko has made it his goal to repeat that instance at least once a week.

This is a couple that took so, so damn long to get together. Twisting Tiger used to tease Miko about not confessing back when they were both on the same team, that’s how long it’s taken. In Miko’s defense, he legit did not realize he had such strong feelings for S/o in the first place - they’ve been friends for so long he chalked up the intensity of emotions to having been friends for so long. He has to do some serious internal reflecting to figure it out.

He did not hesitate to confess quickly thereafter.

“I like you.” “EH-?”

He didn’t say it in the moment, but S/o’s shocked face was adorable.

They are so not subtle. Miko may not be for making out in public but he is very direct about his feelings for s/o. He will press their foreheads together when he sees they’re stressed and grab their hand with only a bit of hesitation and a flushed look on his face. Tiger knows there’s been a change in the relationship from how openly Miko is lovingly gazing at S/o like they’re the whole world.

i’m on anon bc we haven’t interacted a lot yet and idk if you even like me in the slightest so uh yeah. but if it turns out you don’t hate me i’ll gladly reveal myself and talk to you more if you want <3 no pressure ofc i just get really excited talking about this aaah alhskabskanka

SO i have two main ocs, floryn and rory (both she/her) they’re both queer and to keep it veryyyy short: floryn is very creative, extroverted and wild and rory is very athletic/physically strong, introverted and cool & collected (the one with a braincell out of the duo) ofc they’re a lot more complex than that but i don’t wanna keep this too long kabdjsksal

at the start of the story theyre friends and they start crushing on eachother, it’s not really slowburn i think but it’s not very quickly either

i also wanna make more friends for them but i haven’t done that yet aljskajs

the only other character i have is a boy and he’s an asshole. basically he has a crush on floryn and somehow finds out that rory has a crush on her too, that makes him upset because he was just about to go on a date with flo and he kinda sees rory as a threat bc he knows they’re close friends (and maybe he also has a past bullying rory so he knows it would ruin his chances with floryn if she found out abt him being mean to rory). so he locks rory into a locker (but don’t worry - the person who the locker belongs to gets her out pretty quickly and they become besties) to prevent her from talking to flo. then he goes on what he thought was a date with floryn and she tells him she just likes him as friend. a bit later floryn finds out that he was an asshole to rory and slaps him in the face <3 and then he’s upset and does a dramatic reveal that rory has a crush on floryn, expecting her to be disgusted bc it turns out he’s homophobic as well, but plot twist: floryn is actually very openly and confidently lesbian/bi (haven’t decided yet) and is super excited because she has a crush on rory too. then she slaps him in the face again for being homophobic <3 and rory and floryn go on a date or something cute and end up in a relationship :DD it might be kinda boring and weird and basic and i don’t even know but i just want some simple drama that ends up with a wlw romance <33 and that’s only a very basic outline anyways, there’s probably a lot that’ll happen before and afterwards :D

and to get bonus points, my main inspirations are 1. heartstopper (that made me realise how much i crave a cute wlw story, i know there are a lot but i just wanted to make my own i guess) 2. (the most recent one that lead me to actually come up with this) jackson’s diary, it’s also a webcomic and there’s always a lot going on and it’s dramatic but not too dramatic and idk i’ve just been feeling very inspired by it, also in terms of art so MAYBE i’m gonna make a comic out of this but probably not because that requires sooo much work akshkajs. anyways, inspo numero 3. sleeping beauty, kinda but not really? at the start i wanted it to be an entirely different story as a wlw modern retelling of sleeping beauty but then i began adding a lot of own twists and it got so chaotic i’m kinda scrapping it for now and came up with something completely different (one thing that remains though is that rorys full name is actually aurora :0 but everyone calls her rory so it doesn’t matter that much, but still a little easter egg for myself <3)

2. If you could eat a meal for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Tomatoes and eggs with rice. My mom makes it absolutely bussin and I would annihilate it on a daily.

3. What do you think is the NUMBER ONE most important thing in a relationship or friendship? Trust. Having trust is the most important in my personal opinion because vulnerability will follow after that trust is established. With vulnerability, people are able to be true to themselves and their emotions which can develop strong relationships or friendships.

4. What is the best advice someone has given to you? Describe the situation if possible. I have heard many advices but the one that stuck to me the most was the advice my big gave me. His advice was telling me to just want to live out my life in a fulfilling sense, be happy, and truly do what I want to do. As much as he portrays himself in a humorous way, I believe that he has a lot of wisdom despite his young age.

5. What are three things on your bucket list? Three things that are on my bucket list are going to Korea, getting fit, and getting a boyfriend (^: BAHAHAHA JKAYS unless… 0-:

6. If you were famous, what would you want to be famous for? Being a clown

7. If you could swap lives with someone for a day, who would it be and why? If I could swap lives with someone for a day, it would be with BTS’s manager. I want to know what it feels like to work with one of the biggest groups at the moment and be friends with them hehe

8. If you could create a whole new subject to be taught in school, what would it be? Crocheting. It would be so fun to learn how to make plushies or clothes.

9. What do people constantly misunderstand about you? I feel like people constantly misunderstand that I am an extrovert due to my outgoing and friendly nature. I am actually quite introverted and shy when it comes to meeting new people. I enjoy being in my own company or within a small group of friends. Nowadays as I get older, I tend to throw myself out there more often just so people can get more comfortable when they first meet me. In some ways, I sometimes feel like I am becoming more extroverted with age. Nonetheless, being around large groups of people more than often drain my social battery so I would say I am introverted.

10. What is something you regret doing or not doing? Would you change it if given the opportunity? Why or why not? I have a lot of regrets in my life, so it’s hard to pinpoint one. Whether it would be from something small like eating a snack past 8:00 pm or not studying for my midterm the next day, I always end my day with some sort of regret. I guess a recent one that I am been reflecting on for a while is going into STEM. I knew since high school that I was not the brightest student. Yet, I chose to go into science only because most of my peers were going into it as well. As stupid as it sounds, I felt good to be included. I convinced myself that STEM is the way to go because of its stability and reputation. As a third-year human biology major, I can confidently say that I wished I went into a field that I had more passion for. There is nothing wrong with science, but the motivation I have to learn about it has been dwindling each and every quarter. Back in community college, I actually found my passion through my Asian American Studies through Film course. Being able to work with film production and editing really sparked my interest in Cinema and Digital Media. Unfortunately, I was worried about the instability of going into an art field and just stuck with Biology. At this point in my life, I feel like the only thing I would change is pursuing my passion more as a hobby. I was so fixated on the fact that it had to be my occupation, I completely dismissed my interest in film and just focused on science. If I could go back in time, I would do side projects or even edit videos for local creators and whatnot. Many would often say it is not too late to do that, but I rather focus on my short-term goal of graduating from Davis. Maybe after I graduate, I can pick it up as a hobby instead. At the moment, I just want to enjoy my life in college and be with the people I love without constantly worrying about my future.

That being said, if you’re the type of person to go through with this version of the quiz, I can tell you right now you’re probably blueish-purple. :P Obsessive and deliberate.

**Regarding Lightness and Saturation, these being percentages means that you have a chance of getting a colour that’s too bright or too dark to distinguish, so feel free to compress it a bit. I’d stay out of the 0-10 and 90-100 range, but different hues have different thresholds for when they start becoming too dark/light/pale to recognize.

Hi there! I only read one of your matchups but I'm already impressed by your style of writing them, like it's so cute :0 Could I ask for a one too? A male character, please? My mbti is INFJ and my star sign is a virgo, go by she/her. I'm female, 158cm with pale skin, blue eyes, glasses and dark brown hair with purple tips.

I'm generally an introverted person—quiet, seemingly distant and even scary at first. However, I tend to warm up to others rather fast and become friendly 😊 (though even then some say I'm mysterious?) I love listening to others and analysing the environments as well as the people around me to learn. I am very passionate about the things I care about, like family, my hobbies and values. I'm quite decisive and independent as well. I rarely get angry but when I do I can get a bit fierce and stubborn. I always try to look at the positive side of the situation but sometimes this can lead to begin naïve. I also really don't like being the centre of attention and tend to get anxious in larger groups (currently trying to overcome this).

My hobbies are singing (karaoke nights are the best), hiking, learning languages, making jewellery and writing. Generally using my hands is a lot of fun! I also enjoy baking, chocolate and love sweets. I have a huge soft spot for dogs, plants and birds!

Okay wait so I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about this setter but you can’t tell me he wouldn’t be a good boyfriend! Reading your descriptions it kind of just clicked~

Atsumu adores you and that’s just a fact! The first time he saw you he wasn’t scared or intimidated at all I really don’t think he even noticed! Even though he has fan girls I feel like he isn’t always the smoothest. When he first approached you he probably said some silly little pun that Osamu swears by is the most dumbest thing he’s heard. But when he heard you laugh in response and not even a fake one at that he was over the moon! (And the way you warmed up so quick to him!)

Atsumu would like your puns a little too much smh. He definitely finds them hilarious! Even to the point he goes and tells the whole team and brags about how funny his girlfriend is~

Despite others beliefs he’s not selfish he’s dedicated. I feel like the moment he finds out about you being anxious in big groups he’ll always keep a eye out to see if your okay. And lucky enough he’s a very positive persons and a reliable at that! He always has your back and in return all he ask is for you to accept his love!

This man is a teddy bear!! He himself gets a warm feeling all over no matter what you guys decide to do! See’s you run over to a dog? Melting. Seeing you belt your heart out to karaoke? yes. Hears you practicing different languages? Yes, yes and yes! Atsumu will also send you photos of birds he sees on jogs that he finds pretty or even take you on a hike to nature watch!

He himself is a extrovert and a very loud one at that. If he notices your curiosity start to peak at something but to shy to ask he has no problem doing it for you! He’s respectful of your boundaries but still want’s to push you a bit! He may even want to be pushed a bit too so maybe try offering up teaching him how to make jewelry! (Or you and both the twins try baking together! Though it may end in a food fight)

He can be a little much sometimes and be a bit playful but he enjoys the fact the simple fact he can just be himself around you! A little annoying to deal with sometimes but ya got to love him~

on writing kiddos

Hi, hello there, it’s me again back with the first bit of meta in a really long time. I’ve been incredibly distracted with school as well as my longfic, which was actually the inspiration for this post. Just to provide some context, I write a story that spans the lives of my two protagonists from the time they are young children, all the way to their mid twenties, highlighting pivotal moments in their childhood that have had some lasting impact on their present day selves, and as such, I have spent quite a lot of time writing from the perspective of precocious kids and moody teens.

Fortunately, I love kids, and I’ve had years of experience in both being a big sister and working professionally with kids as both a childcare worker and a therapist. I’ve gotten to spend a lot of time around kiddos and learn the inner workings of their amazing, rapidly developing brains, and so I’m here to share some of the things I’ve learned AND how it can be applied in a writing situation. I know that lots of people have apprehensions when writing kids, and so I hope that my anecdotal tips will be helpful to someone out there.

I’ll drop the rest behind a handy dandy read more to spare your all’s feeds. ;D

Age and Cognitive Development

When we write adult characters, part of getting their characterization pinned down is understanding how they think, and the same thing applies to kiddos! Cognitive and socio-emotional development are long-researched topics, so there are a multitude of varying theories, and it can be quite complex to break down into neat categories that apply to all kids. In fact, all kids develop at different rates, despite following the same general trajectory.

Generally speaking, children start out understanding the world primarily through their senses, reflexes, and movements (interactions with the environment), and end with a fairly complex system of abstraction and understanding of hypotheticals. (Note that these development ranges are based upon those who are neurotypical and neurodiverse characters would not necessarily have the same markers, so if anyone has any specific tips for writing neurodiverse kids and would like to chime in, please feel free to do so!)

0-2 years - highly sensory/motor based, lots of reflexes; learn the difference between self and environment and differences between objects. Emotions develop more rapidly, beginning with anger, disgust, fear, surprise, happiness, and gradually developing more and more complicated feelings. Even at 2 years old, they are likely to not have a solid grasp on labeling the ways they are feeling, and things are mostly behavioral and reflexive.

2-7 years - children begin to understand symbols and develop language, beginning with the basics and progressing to fairly complex thoughts. Children between these ages think in a very concrete fashion and are highly reliant upon objects, but they do begin to pretend and roleplay. Children around these ages are egocentric and usually struggle to take the perspective of others. However, they begin to develop the ability to identify and express their feelings and thoughts simply, but struggle to understand the thoughts and feelings of others.

Mommy had a scrunched up face when she looked a the mess in the house. Billy didn’t really know why her face did that sometimes. (approx 4ish)

7 - 11(ish) - Development of perspective-taking and concrete problem-solving. Thoughts gradually become more complex and holistic, though children at this stage of development take things literally, and at face-value. They typically can understand their own feelings and infer the feelings of others from facial expressions, body language, etc., although they may be inaccurate in their assumptions.

Mommy’s face scrunched up when she looked at the mess Billy made in the floor. It was the same face she made when Daddy didn’t take his shoes off before stepping on the carpet. It usually meant mommy was annoyed (Approx. 7-8)

Mom’s face wrinkled when she looked at the mess Billy had left in the floor. He began to pick his things up so she wouldn’t fuss at him. (Approx 10 or 11)

11+ - The ability to think in the abstract and understand hypotheticals begins to develop around age 11, however, it’s different for everyone. Children and teens usually start to have rather complex thoughts and make inferences based on subtle cues. They’re able to manipulate information mentally and come to develop their own opinions and conclusions.

Billy’s mother wasn’t even home yet, and he could already see the look on her face she would have when she saw the mess on the floor. He hurredly began to scrub the stain from the rug. He was going to be in so much trouble. He knew it.

Teenagerdom - Most teens have all the complex thoughts and emotions that adults have, but often have less experience and/or ability to cope with and regulate those thoughts and feelings. Many teens are stuck in this place of being expected to behave in an adult way, while still being treated as a child. It’s a rough time. Not to mention, teenagers experience a re-emergence of egocentrism that takes the form of “Everyone is watching and judging me all the time,” and also “Nobody has ever experienced what I am experiencing and if they have experienced it, then they haven’t experienced it to this degree.” That all settles down with cognitive maturation and experiences; however, the experiences of teenagers often extend well into the 20s.

Examining the mess on the floor, Billy knew that his mother was going to kill him. Murder. She’d chew him up and spit him back out, never to see the light of day again. It was the end. Unless of course he could scrub the stubborn stain from the rug. This had to be the worst thing that could have possibly happened.

Personal Experience and Intelligence

As I mentioned above, those age ranges are broad, general “this is sort of what should be happening when,” but they’re more guidelines rather than hard and fast rules. When writing children, it is helpful to consider the personal experiences a child has had in their lives up to that point as well as their intelligence. Those are not the measure of a person (even a little one), but they make a huge difference in the rate at which a child matures and interacts with the world. Generally kids who have more difficult upbringings and those who end up parenting themselves and/or caring for siblings, often seem older than they really are, particularly in regard to their behavior.

Just to provide some examples for reference, the children that I write in my story are mostly nobles who have relatively comfortable, safe, and happy childhoods. My Cousland, Liss, is generally a carefree, impulsive, emotional, messy, privileged child, and so I modeled her development more closely in line with the “guidelines.” Nathaniel is also a noble, but he’s more thoughtful, and has kind of been placed into a parental role in that his dad is emotionally abusive at the very least, and after his mother dies, he is the rock that his siblings stand on, and at that point in time, he is only 10. He has to grow up a lot faster than he may have had to otherwise. As a very strong counterpoint, there are other characters who do not have any environmental privileges during their childhood. A very good portrayal of this sort of thing is this comparison of Isabela and Hawke’s respective upbringings.

Both intelligence and life experiences can lead to a quicker rate of cognitive development and maturation in some cases, that does not mean that they are “grown up” or in anyway done developing. Even the brightest kids, even the kids who have faced unbelievable adversity are still kids and they often still experience impulsivity, emotion dysregulation, and other things that one might not see in adults with the same experiences. Furthermore, some kids may not even experience advanced development, instead regressing from the lack of social support and modeling from attachment figures.

Personality

The next thing I wanted to touch upon is personality. I think there is a tendency to portray all kids as Standard Kids (which I have endearingly coined Standard Kid Syndrome). It is all well and good if the intention is just to show a Standard Kid; however, if you really want to dig deep into a character, into who that child is, it’s so important to consider personality traits. From birth, children have dispositions, and as they grow and learn more about themselves and the world, those dispositions become personality. Personality traits should shine through very early on! Kids can be open to experience or rigid and anxious, they can be introverted or extroverted, they can be impulsive or restrained, they can be aggressive, meek, funny, serious, meticulous, silly, cool, gruff, grumpy, snarky, sassy, nerdy, quirky, shy, friendly, withdrawn, and so on and so forth. Children are new humans; they are not incomplete humans.

The Kid Voice

When writing from the point of view of a child, all of the things discussed above factor into word choice. Just like writing adult characters, the way a kid talks in dialogue, or narrates even, is influenced by a blend of so many different things. Young kids’ descriptions are going to have simpler sentence structures and words. They may introspect less and observe more. They may express themselves through their bodies and actions more. They may have trouble describing what they’re feeling, or understanding what they’re seeing. Teens may describe things more dramatically and intensely than similar adults would. They may not. What is important is considering the mix of traits and experiences they have in relation to cognitive development. It’s really no different from writing any other character. It just takes research and planning to get in The Zone.

TL;DR

- Understanding how kids think is a good starting point to writing kids

- Personal experiences, intelligence, and the interaction of qualities can influence how a child thinks in a multitude of ways

- Kids have personalities! They’re not blank slates that have yet to be filled. They are whole people, and it’s good to give proper care to show those unique, wonderful little minds that they have

- It’s not so much different than writing adults! It just takes some time spent looking through a different lens!

At first, he notices your shyness and just assumes it’s him. What else could it be? He doesn’t really think much else of it until he sees you interact with people you don’t know. You’re anxious, and introverted, and you retreat even further into your shell. With this, he immediately feels a strong desire to protect you- these people, these strangers are making you anxious, hurting you. From that point onward, he makes a point of being there for you when you experience new things. At first, just a calming presence, later on in your relationship something of a comfort to you. The fact that he’s able to calm you, protect you, brings a flush of pride to his soul. He would do anything to protect you.

When you ask, he’ll just sit and snuggle with you, hug you close to him, but bless him, at first he’s a little reluctant on the side of physical affection. But it’s not your fault- over the years he’s become cold and distant, sent out on mission after mission, wandering aimlessly. Day after day. The same scenes of suffering play out in his head but he’s almost unaffected. But not when it comes to you. You have.... somehow managed to warm up his cold exterior, and bring a subtle warmth to his cheeks, to his smile, previously quite cold, and quite cruel. So.. go you!

You have no stamina? Don’t you worry about that. He probably has more than enough stamina for the both of you.

You’re a picky eater- no worries. He’s used to having to deal with Oscar, who’s also a picky eater, so he doesn’t really think too much of it. You’re just particular. He does try to introduce you to new foods though- he knows that you hate being picky, so he will try his best to broaden your palette and give you more options. Want to try some Swedish foods? Say no more. Axel’s got you, and the man is a good cook.

The fact that you like both music and nature- two calming things is pretty darn great, because he can just sit and chill with you, much needed after a long, hard day’s work. Maybe you’re open to going on long walks in the countryside, or wander aimlessly through the woods. Nature sparks some joy in him, brings back memories of long, hot summers, splashing about in sparkling rivers with his brothers, or romping through the woods alone in spring, collecting wildlflowers, or hitching himself up into the trees. But he’s not alone. He has you to accompany him. You can talk about anything you’d like- he’s an open ear, may offer up some comment, or something of the sort- but he does take you seriously.

Okay, I’ll be honest here. The dude has no clue about dyslexia or ADHD, but he has one thing- a willingness to learn. Be prepared for him to check in with you, and ask you questions about yourself. But he won’t always ask. Sometimes, he’ll just know. Over time, he grows accustomed to your habits, and knows exactly when you need a hug, exactly when you need space. He is perceptive and will regard you silently before offering up some short, soft comment, sure to make you feel supported. If you are ever struggling with reading something- say no more. He will drop what he’s doing and read it to you.

He also really admires that you can Irish dance- it’s a dance that takes great skill, and he appreciate it’s beauty- he could watch you for hours.

sirius black is an ISFP; an essay

TLDR: Sirius is an ISFP because he predominantly uses Fi (is very passionate, very attached to his emotions as shown by his anger in POA & OOTP and his empathy for Harry in GOF), and Se (physical excitement is important to him & he manages surviving out in the wild). We also see a little bit of his tertiary Ni (he tends to brood a lot & think deeply when attempting to help Harry through his struggles). He’s introverted (lets James take the lead and serves more of a supplementary role in conversations). So Fi is his dominant function & Se his auxiliary. I also talk about why Sirius doesn’t use Ne, Ni, or Si as upper functions & why the other upper Se types (ESTP, ESFP, ISTP) don’t fit him.

hey y’all i’m here to do some REAL myers briggs typing of harry potter characters. i’m doing this because i’m SO tired of mistypings that i can’t bear it!!! i have found 0 sites on this internet that accurately type harry potter characters & even if they get some right, it’s almost never 100%. 😢 obviously it’s easier to type people rather than characters bc people are ~REAL~ and also because authors can be inconsistent whilst writing characters, bla bla bla. But JK Rowling, for the most part, is pretty good at creating characters with developed, consistent personalities, and Sirius Black is one of them.

I’ll begin with typing Sirius’s upper Perceiving function, which is undoubtedly Se, or extroverted Sensing. Se-users perceive the world through their five senses, and thus are very in-tune with their physical surroundings. Sirius is very into physical thrills; his vehicle of choice is a FLYING MOTORCYCLE, enough said. He is easily able to adapt to restrictive physical conditions; while living in Azkaban among the dementors, Sirius is able to transform into his animagus form and literally swim all the way to the mainland. If that isn’t Se, idk what is. Throughout Sirius’s time post-Azkaban and pre-Order, he lives a vagabond life both in Scotland and in other countries. He seems to be able to easily navigate living in the outdoors. That doesn’t mean he’s comfortable (i.e. him living off rats in a cave during GOF), but he manages to sustain himself while simultaneously evading capture by the Ministry. In Snape’s Worst Memory, Sirius is extremely bored after sitting through a long O.W.L. exam, and needs James to do something to stimulate him. And all through OOTP, Sirius’s biggest conflict is a feeling of restlessness due to being stuck in Grimmauld Place.

One thing I've also noticed about Se’s is that they are very perceptive of people's physical habits, sometimes to the point of intense scrutiny. In Snape’s Worst Memory (SWM), Sirius says he was watching Snape during the O.W.L. and how Snape’s greasy nose was glued to the exam paper the entire time. You can’t get more typical Se bullying than pointing out other people’s unappealing physical habits. In Grimmauld Place, Sirius tells Kreacher off for sneaking away family heirlooms while everyone's cleaning out the house. Being observant enough to notice someone sneaking something is a very typical Se thing to do (I’ve experienced it! .-.).

So why aren’t Sirius’s upper perceiving functions Si, Ne, or Ni? Ne will be the easiest to explain, because Sirius quite obviously does not use it. Ne’s are usually detached from their surroundings, living in a rich inner world full of spontaneous ideas. Sirius is very much in touch with the environment around him and doesn’t have the playfulness that Ne users have. When he’s speaking, he's very clear and to the point, while Ne’s are abstract thinkers who like to bounce ideas around just for fun.

Sirius is not not an upper Ni user, but as an ISFP, he uses tertiary Ni, which we do see. Again, Sirius is too much in touch with his surroundings to be an introverted intuitive. But he does have a brooding nature, and whenever Harry’s in trouble, like when he’s talking to Sirius in GOF before the first task and telling him about all the odd things happening around him, Sirius quietly absorbs all the information Harry gives him (“He had let Harry talk himself into silence without interruption”) and is thoughtful (though not for the long and generally stays to the point), while trying to figure out what’s going on at Hogwarts ("I don’t know,” said Sirius slowly. 'I just don’t know…Karkaroff doesn’t strike me as the type who’d go back to Voldemort unless he knew Voldemort was powerful enough to protect him”). Though Sirius is generally a pretty brash person who doesn’t act with cautious and constant thoughtfulness as an Ni would, he knows how to utilize his Ni when he needs it. As Heidi Priebe’ says in her article How Each Cognitive Function Manifests Based On Its Position in Your Stacking, “As a tertiary function, Ni manifests as the desire to optimize or perfect upon one’s pre-existing talents or skills.”

Lastly, Sirius definitely does not use introverted Sensing (Si). Si is a past oriented function that stores exact details of past events. Si-users are relatively careful people who “get attached to past ways of doing things,” which is basically the exact opposite of Sirius. Adventure, thrill, and stimulation are his middle names!!

So we’ve established that he’s an upper Se, which means Sirius could be an ESTP, ESFP, ISFP, or ISTP.

Sirius is not an ESTP. This might be hard to believe since ESTP surface-level descriptions on the internet (thrill seeking/passionate/drama lovers) seem very much like Sirius. But Sirius isn’t an extrovert and as I’ll describe later on, he doesn’t use Ti. In the Pensieve during SWM, we see the Marauders interacting and James is pretty clearly the loud one, showing off his Quidditch skills to Wormtail and leading his and Sirius’s attack against Snape. James initiates the verbal attack (”All right, Snivellus?”) and James continues to initiate the provocations (”How’d the exam go, Snivelly?”) while Sirius only supplements the conversation (”I was watching him, his nose was touching the parchment…”). Sirius is not the leader, at least not verbally. He attacks Snape physically and is verbally vicious to him, but he’s not initiating the conversation the way James is. It’s hard for me to imagine an ESTP being a side character during a social scene. And we see Sirius being a side character multiple times; in POA, Sirius is bent on attacking Peter, and Lupin is the one who has to explain the backstory of the Marauders to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Sirius is quieter, wanting to carry out the action and isn’t helping lead the conversation. Again, in OOTP, when we are with Sirius in Grimmauld Place, Sirius is relatively quiet. Yes, he gets angry at Dumbledore for forcing him to stay shut up in the house (honestly fuck Dumbledore), and at Molly for not filling in Harry about the work the Order’s doing. But otherwise, he’s not usually the center of attention. I concede, he’s most likely going through depression, but it still feels natural that he’s not super loud. I feel like an ESTP becoming quiet because of depression would mean that they were going through really severe depression, but it seems like Sirius’s case is more mild. He’s still pretty functional in plenty of other ways.

Sirius is not an ESFP, and the reasons for this are very similar to those I gave for him not being an ESTP. He doesn’t lead actions and is relatively quiet. And all the ESFPs I’ve met— and I’ve met a variety of them (Most ESFPs I know are warm and ridiculously energetic, but I also know one who is more relaxed and blunt), but I’ve never met one who’s brooding. I just don’t think broody is a trait that can be ascribed to an ESFP, unless they are dangerously depressed. And again, I really don’t think this is the case with Sirius. (If you are or know a broody ESFPs, feel free to comment!)

Sirius Black is not an ISTP. Sirius’s actions when he is passionate and angry do not mirror those of a dominant Ti and inferior Fe user. A dominant Ti would be unattached to conflict situations unlike a dominant Fi. A dominant Ti usually doesn’t like conflict, and I can only see them yelling or really losing their temper if their boundaries are invaded (i.e. if someone keeps trying to argue with them and won’t give them space). But otherwise, the ISTPs I know generally prefer to be alone when they’re angry. They might lash out by doing something more subtle; using their dominant Ti to bide their time & really plan something evil. Sirius is not like this at all. From the first time we meet him in POA, he is screaming at Pettigrew, ready to kill him without a second thought. He's completely raw in his anger at losing James and Lily to Wormtail's betrayal (“THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED”). He’s completely immersed in his feelings the way a dominant Fi would be-- and I would know because I am one.

All of Sirius's raw, pent up rage is flowing straight through his body and out of his mouth. As Fe users, ISTPs aren’t internally connected with their feelings enough to be able to express them so rawly. Fe is literally the function that expresses feelings in sync with the people around them. So the way Fe users express feelings always takes into consideration the people they are talking to and the environments they’re in. Sirius has no distance with his feelings at all.

We see Sirius’s dominant Fi when he’s telling Harry that he “as good as” killed James and Lily. A dominant Fi is can be so deeply connected with their guilt that they equate facts to be on par with their feelings rather than the other way around. In other words, we change up facts a little bit (some people could say this is lying but I prefer to say passion-inspired inaccuracy), to match our feelings about a situation. Sirius is still deeply filled with remorse and sadness at Lily and James’ death and says “I don’t deny it,” when Harry accuses Sirius of killing his parents.

When Harry recounts his meeting with Voldemort at the end of GOF in Dumbledore’s office, Sirius tightly grips Harry’s shoulders after he reports seeing his parents through Priori Incantatem. This is a gut reaction of intense empathy that is typical for a well-developed Fi. He’s also intent about Harry having rest after going through the ordeal (“We can leave that till morning, can’t we Dumbledore?” said Sirius harshly. He had put a hand on Harry’s shoulder. “Let him have a sleep. Let him rest.”). Fi’s, especially Fi’s who are also Se users are deeply aware of human physio-emotional needs.

We continue to see Sirius’s Fi when Harry goes to Sirius for advice. ISTPs give logical, concrete suggestions when you tell them your feelings. But ISFPs (especially ones who aren’t the most socially mature) absorb your feelings and give suggestions based on what they feel themselves (i.e. Sirius telling Harry in OOTP after H believes he attacked Mr. Weasley, that Harry simply needs to go to sleep because he’s in shock. Sirius isn’t using logic to help Harry, he’s worried about Harry’s mental health and immediately lectures him instead of giving a logical solution like an ISTP would). Later in OOTP, Sirius earnestly tells Harry, “Look, your father was the best friend I ever had, and he was a good person. A lot of people are idiots at the age of fifteen. He grew out of it.” I repeat, this isn't logic. But then again, we IXFPs aren’t exactly logical when we’re talking about the people we love. And thus, in conclusion, Sirius’s function stack is Fi-Se-Ni-Te...in other words he’s an ISFP through and throughout.

May I request a Match up, please?

I’m at the part when I have to choose a route and I honestly don’t know/care. So I decided why not let some lovely internet stranger choose for me? Who do you think I would pair the best with?

I also noticed how much effort and detail you put into these so I decided that it was only fair to try to put in just as much effort in requesting. Or maybe I am just extremely vain so blabbering on this much about myself comes naturally (I also wouldn’t be too suprised if this were the case lol). Either way, I apologise for this getting so long. And without further ado, let’s learn about yours truly. Uh, yay?

I will start with my physical appearance because that’s easiest.

First of all, I am rather tall for a woman. Pair that with the fact that I constantly wear boots with 8 centimetre or greater heels and I almost always cap out somewhere above 182 centimetres (that’s 6 feet in American). So yes. I’m not exactly the approachable type, on the account of my height and near constant resting bitch face. I always look pissed off at something (and to be fair, I usually am).

I am a brunette with boring brown eyes. Nothing of note there.

I prefer to walk on my toes, for whatever reason. I also have great posture when I walk and these two factors always make it seem like I am floating. I’ve been told that I always seem very confident and self-assured. Which is complete bullshit because 90% of the time, I am winging it.

I am a dancer (of sorts. More on that later), so I am rather slim and toned. This is literally the only aspect of my physicality that I am actually confident in. The rest of me can burn in hell for all I care.

I am also very touch adverse. I hate the feeling of skin touching my skin it grosses me touch. However. There are a select few people in this world that I accept and enjoy hugs and cuddles from (and who I could snuggle with for hours). If I let anyone cuddle me that means I trust said person unconditionally and feel extremely comfortable around them. It’s essentially the ultimate statement of trust.

Onto personality.

If you can’t already tell, I have about as much dignity as a wet cat. I while I certainly do have an ego, it can be kind of difficult to bruise. Publically, I am absolutely shameless and don’t give two shits about what others think.

I have a tongue of steel and can rapid fire the most atrocious insults and comebacks when provoked. I’m known for my venomous sarcasm and biting wit among my own circles. I have a line for nearly every single situation so one-liners have become my thing. Which works out for me because I am a huge flirt.

I’ll flirt with pretty much anyone regardless of gender, I don’t give a crap. To clarify, it’s not because I am an attention whore (okay, yes. I am a complete attention whore), it’s because I am a theatre kid so excessive eye contact and sexual jokes are kinda where I thrive. I am also not afraid to get questionably lascivious with my flirting if someone tries to out-pace me. I never blush, I never falter, and I never let anyone know that they got the better of me. It shows weakness.

Despite my salacious façade, I am not inherently a sexual person. As a matter of fact, I am quite the opposite. I don’t experience sexual attraction (kudos to my asexual humans. I see you). This has rendered me practically immune to all charm, crushes, and sex appeal. It makes my life a lot easier, in my opinion. I don’t get too attached. I also enjoy messing around with the egos of fuck boys.

As mentioned earlier, I am an attention whore. I love showing off because I crave validation (this could point to some deep seated insecurities about myself that I refuse to acknowledge…. Ahem). Being on stage as where I thrive. And yes, I am a dancer, as I stated earlier. But I am not your conventional prissy ballerina. I am a circus performer. More specifically, I’m an aerialist. I have covered trapeze, contortion (I am unnaturally flexible), lyra, and silks. It’s a lot of fun almost dying every day and finding bruises in the most questionable places (if you cant already tell, I am an adrenaline junkie. I took karate for the first dozen or so years of my life and have recently been searching for more weapons combat classes because apparently I don’t have enough bruises already).

I am not easily impressed. And I don’t give out compliments very often. And that includes myself. I can be unnecessarily hard on myself at times… most of the time. But then again, who isn’t?

As for the side of me that isn’t stark-raving mad, I am usually a pretty objective person. While I have no qualms with discussing emotions (both mine and friend’s. I am a great listener and actually give pretty good advice when it comes to dealing with intense emotions). I tend to avoid letting them interfere with my logic. I look down on those who allow their emotions to dictate their actions. It makes them needlessly reckless.

I am typically a pretty chill person. When I am among people I am unfamiliar with, I tend to stay quiet and try not to rock the boat too much (again, I won’t hesitate to unleash a severe tongue lashing upon any poor soul who happens to rub me the wrong way… Or just happens to exist. I don’t take shit from other people and I hate it when others try to control me. (I don’t play rough, I play smart).

I really enjoy reading, writing, or drawing quietly. I can’t stand loud and excessive noises or people (parties, screaming, concerts). I am a true extroverted introvert. I love being the center of attention and chatting, but I need my alone time. People are exhausting to deal with.

Because of my aversion to loud sounds, I tend to avoid typical dance parties like the plague. While I am very good with mingling and partying in general, I can only keep it up in short bursts before I have to retreat somewhere quiet. This is also the reason I greatly prefer the nighttime (if I had a choice I would sleep all day and only frolick around at night. I just love the dark. It’s comforting in a weird way). I also love the night because that’s when I get to sleep and just peace out on life. It’s kinda like non-committal dying.

I am near constantly on hyper-alert so I am not easily startled. When I do get startled, I have a tendency to squeak, yelp or growl. These noses are purely reactionary sounds but for whatever reason, my friends think that they are absolutely adorable and will go to great lengths to startle me just to hear me make them.

To counteract my friend’s malevolence, I have learnt to be super observant, especially when I feel threatened. Usually, I am caught up on my own world and thoughts. I have an imagination so powerful that I can trick my brain into feeling false sensations such as an extra limb or falling. I much prefer to spend my time in my head rather than our boring reality. But if I feel threatened, or think that another attack is imminent, I instantly become hyper aware. These moments of lucidity enable me to make certain observations others would otherwise be overlooked (for example. I was able to tell when my professor lost her wedding ring due to the discoloration around her ring finger and the habitual and near-constant worrying she did at it. I offered to help her look after class ^.^. I admittedly felt kinda smug when I saw her surprise.) Ironically enough, I like to refer to this mode of thinking as “Sherlocking”. I can be quite the detective when I really try. 9 out of 10 times my friends will come to me when they suspect infidelity, I am pretty good at digging up dirt.

However, I have to make the conscious decision to do this, usually when I am trying to figure someone out or manipulate them into liking me. So this isn’t constant and usually I go about my day like everyone else, blissfully unaware of my surroundings.

Uhh, there is probably more I could cover but this is getting very long as-is and you are probably forcing yourself to get through my seemingly eternal ramblings. So I am going to stop here and go grab myself some food.

Honestly, it was between Masamune and Mitsuhide for me lol but i eventually decided to go with Masamune

The first time Masamune sees you, his eyes go wide in awe, like wow you are one tall fine lady! He has legit never met anyone so tall. After you were named as chatelaine, you stayed behind with some of the warlords to chat and get to know them better, you are after all going to be seeing their faces every day for the next 3 months.

Right of the bat, Masamune is howling in laughter at the fact that you are way taller than Ieyasu. You, Masamune and Mitsuhide basically tease the poor porcupine for a solid 20 minutes. “My my I never expected such a scary-looking little mouse to be so bubbly and friendly.”

Oooh, this boy just stared a war of wits. Today day was a good day cause your tongue of steel was rapidly firing witty words and sarcastic remarks at the resident kitsune. He almost couldn’t keep up, almost. Masamune was just standing there watching the whole scene unfold, you truly were going to be a lot of fun! Masamune decided to test out that tongue of steel of your and started firing some flirty pick-up line, while unbeknown to him you are the queen of one-liners, and have no shame when it comes lascivious flirting. Masamune, of course, never backs down from a challenge, and he was determined to make you blush. The conversation got so heated that it made even Hideyoshi blush on your behalf. You simply laughed and fired another one of your pick-up lines.

After the little chat in the hallway and a massive speech from mama bear for talking about things that were not PG13, cause of the kids *cough* Mitsunari *cough*, you and Masamune become quick friends. He had never met a woman before that was immune to his boyish wild charm, and handsome sexual appeal. Masamune was definitely popular with the woman, not as popular as Hideyoshi, but he was definitely a fuckboi. As surprised as he was, that his normal antics didn't work on you, his ego wasn’t dented one bit, it just made him more determined to get to know you.

Masamune definitely finds your flirtatious nature attractive, especially when you managed to score the two of you free sweet bun just by flirting with the shop owner, he was, even more, shook when the shop owner was a woman, your flirtation truly knows no bounds. The two of you would spend loads of time together, just going out for tea and sweets while getting to know each other. TBH although Masamune would never admit it, he found it refreshing that you weren't just his friend simply cause he was hot or cause you wanted to climb in stations but because you actually liked him as a person. You and Masamune definitely made an unstoppable team when it came to banquets. The two of you would team up and start teasing everyone there. When you two cuties are together its always a good time with loads of laughter and banter

Masamune discovered that you like him, was an adrenaline junkie. He loved that he finally had someone around that would do stupid shit with him just for the thrill of it. The two of you would go out on adventures 24/7 jumping down waterfalls and hiking up cliffs. The two of you goofball would also dare each other to do the craziest shit. Like one-time Masamune dared you to jump off the castle’s roof onto your balcony, and you freaken did it, no questions asked. Or like the one time you dared him to put his head in Shogetsu mouth, mind you the little cub was now grown into a full-blown tiger

One day you and Masa went to go watch one of Mitsuhide’s undercover performances. The three of you were investigating a shady daimyo in one of the nearby provinces. The three of you disguised yourselves as performers and joined a circus troop as their new dancers. You were so excited, the stage is where you truly come alive. You had promised Masa to show him something that would shock/surprise him after he gave you the grand tour of Azuchi. Today was the day, you had kept your dance and performances a secret from the two men, and now it was finally time to show them what you can do. You had 3 different performances planned. The first one was contortion. To say Masamune was shook would be an understatement he never knew anyone could be so freaken flexible, like wow. Your next performance was aerial dancing, his blue eye gleamed in delight, watching you move through the air so gracefully. If he wasn’t sure before he was sure now, this boy loved ya. But what really took his breath away was when you trapezed through the air, he was absolutely mesmerized at the way you flew through the air doing back-flips and other cool ass tricks. Masamune loved the look of pure joy on your face as you performed and after the show, you explained to him that you were a theatre kid back in the past. Mitsuhide definitely took note of your skills, and since that day you now accompanied him on most missions that required him to disguise himself as a performer.

What was he most impressed with you may ask, well you Sherlocking skills of course. One day there were rumours of some super shady daimyos visiting Azuchi. Word on the street was that they were planning on stealing Mitsunari report to make the poor angel look bad. Mitsuhide was away sorting out some other plots and schemes, so it was now up to you to use your skills, to save the angel. You used your detective skill to gather evidence, and since your inner circle knew you were from the future, you were planning on catching them in the act and filming them for evidence. Masamune was always up for an adventure, so he acted as you own personal Watson. The two of you hid while watching the whole scene unfold, once they left the room the two of you came out. “What do you think they are going to do with the report lass,” he asked while his blue eye gleamed in delight. “Hmmmmm, I believe they are going to burn the evidence in the forest” you replied in your best British accent. Masamune couldn’t help but laugh. The two of you made your way to a secluded part of the forest and spotted them making a fire. Masamune looked at you curiously “How did you know they were going to be in this exact spot.” “Elementary, my dear Masamune.” He couldn’t help but burst out in laughter you really were a super fun kitten. Unfortunately for the two of you, they heard you guys laughing behind the trees and before you knew it, the two of you were surrounded. One of the men had a sword right at your throat ready to cut you open, that is when you shocked them by not backing down from the fight, you hit the sword away with one of your own gifted to you by your dearest one-eyed dragon. “ Point that sword at me one more time and i’ll slash your Achilles’ tendons, and TBH given the medicine situation of this time, no one would know how to fix your injury, so I hope you like hobbling around on one leg for the rest of your life cause that is what will happen.” These men were shook; meanwhile, Masa was next to you howling in laughter, “She’s not joking boys, this lass delivers on her threats.” You had never seen grown men run away from a fight so fast. You and Masamune picked up Mitsunari’s report that had fallen on the ground during the commotion and walked back hand in hand

You didn’t really like skin touching skin, but TBH you definitely like the warm feeling of Masamune’s hand warmed around yours. The two of you had come to fall in love with each other, and it wasn’t long before you two cuties entered into a relationship. Despite both of you being adrenaline junkies, both of you also loved your quiet times. Often you would sit together in his manor each doing your own thing. You would read and write, and Masamune would sit at his desk pretending to work (Cause admin is so freaken boring).

The two of you would have the best time together during banquets you loved being the centre of attention and would chat with everyone, but as the night would progress you would start feeling a bit drained and that’s when the one-eyed dragon would swoop in, pick you up and takes you to a quiet corner where the two of you cuddle and snuggle together.

He would spoil you rotten with the most amazing food, he would basically, cook anything your heart desires just to see that beautiful smile on your face. His heart would always burst with affection whenever he cuddles and kiss you, he knew that the fact that you allowed him to cuddle you was the ultimate statement of trust between the two of you.

Often the two of you cuties can be found causing mischief and giving Mamayoshi more grey hairs or cuddled together sharing stories of your day

His feelings towards his father are uncomplicated contempt: his father was verbally and physically abusive toward Colin’s mother, and occasionally Colin himself, and used Colin as a pawn to attempt to control his mother. His feelings towards his mother are much more complicated. For most of his life, she instilled a belief in him that it was them against the world, and their transitory life prevented him from forming other strong relationships, meaning that Colin felt like she was the only person who really knew, understood, and loved him, a sentiment that she encouraged. The Pie Thief: As a child, Deeza spent a year or so trying to survive the streets of Ul'dah before she escaped to Limsa Lominsa. While only kids, she tried her best to use her skills to fend for herself and other children around her, not wanting them to starve (often stealing pies). While young, she had some training to mostly evade capture from the Brass Blades. Though, more often she was forced to work to pay-back what she stole.

It's a Pirates Life for Me: For some time after her teens, Dee was among the pirates of Limsa Lominsa. Finding a crew to call home, she voyaged the Sea's for some time before a tragic event dispersed her crew after their Captain was killed.

Bad Habits: Dee has some less than honest ties to the drug-dealing underworld. Partaking in many kinds, she know dealers, buyers, sellers, debt collectors and all that nasty stuff. While most of her debts are paid off, and the woman is clean, sometimes the past can haunt you.

Merc's have to Stick together: Between her history, Deeza has worked many jobs involving the need for mercenaries, being called to work with many a group for a hefty pay. These jobs where not always legal, and Dee never cared. These jobs took part all over Eorzea, and throughout most of her life, so this would be the easiest option for a past encounter.

Dreams are made of Gold: For a few years, Deeza worked at the Golden Saucer as a "Bunny Girl", it's more than likely she'd make a lasting impression due to her imperfections and hulking form, as opposed to the usual girls working there.

Current: At present, Dee works most of her days down the Docks of Limsa Lominsa and other docks near-by. She drinks in shady bars, and partakes in underground fist-fights in order to deal with her aggression. She still does the odd job as a mercenary, for all walks of life. She’s pretty flexible in where and why she can be in certain places, so it’s super easy to start something up!

I’ve been RPing for nearly 5 years or something now, possibly 6, staring back in GW2. I’ve been on FFXIV for like 3 years now, who knows.

I’m friendly, but also scatterbrained and forget to message people back sometimes, doesn’t mean I hate you. I just get really distracted.

I will always reply to RP ASAP, and if not, give a reason for doing so. And I would hope this is understood, as I would offer the same in return.

I’m a fairly understanding person, but I can’t read minds. So if you have an issue, please come forward to me about it!

I’m dyslexic, and this causes me to be a bit shy about approaching people too, especially about RP.

I work 9 to 12 hour shifts most days at work. I’m tired a lot, and usually unavailable in game before of this.

I am down for like 99% of RP scenarios, just talk to me about it first, and I’d do the same for you!

what I’m looking for >>>

At present, mostly Discord RP. Working long hours and even longer weeks means I can't log into the game all that often, maybe a few times a week. So for now, I'm looking for some good old discord RP that I can do throughout the day, and someone to be patient with replies not coming every single minute. (Hopefully work gets better and I can start to RP more in the game but until then...)

EU time-zones would be best, but I’ll take what I can get at this point (lmao), 18+ also preferred as I play a disgustingly foul mouthed character who doesn’t have the most pleasant past so maturity goes well with the darker themes. Long-term and short-term RP works for me, too. I’d prefer long-term but I also understand it’s hard to dedicate yourself to so many people and keep it all up, so even if it’s just the occasional scene, I’m cool with that too. Just let me know!

Communication is also appreciated, just so we know where each other stands on certain topics, triggers, etc. If you don’t like something we’re doing in RP, we can stop at anytime and move on. And so we can become friends, too!

by popular demand, here is my oc chatter regarding stuff like relationships n random character traits. its rly long oops but i divided it by character at least lmao,, these are all things that i think id also wanna use if i ever use these characters as humans (which i def will at some point honestly)

- i thinkkkk i want toad and pike to date. toad would come across pike in their lagoon one day while hes wandering around on another wonked exploration and pike is like hey lol :B with their pointy teeth and long ass hair and toad is like :0 he just sits and talks with pike for hours and comes by a few times a week to hang out with them. they fall in LOVE

- fred and lani are def gonna date too. two butches who use he/him pronouns fuck yeah? they have a powerful relationship. mega BDE. power couple. not a lot of pda but alone together theyre both very loving and tender, its a vulnerability thing for both of them. like lani is very cool and can be either stoic or borderline obnoxious while fred is punkish. fred is very head over heels for lani tho

- mardi n berg.....complicated....i gotta figure out how they actually end up together. berg is a jogger and mardi is a piercer/tattoo artist so that doesnt....make them line up very much in that department. ill think about it more and figure something out. itll probably have something to do with berg’s nose stripes and eye rings

- also side note on mardi......i want his backstory to include a grey period set off by his brother being eaten when they were both young at the troll tree. like he becomes angry and depressed, sorta like branch, his tattoos that he gives himself the only color on his body, until he learns to let go and his colors come back (high key this was inspired by 21 savage, mardi’s voice claim, and the line in his new song A Lot “my brother lost his life and it turned me to a beast”). ill develop this idea further but i just wanted to get it written down

- bismuth.......unsure. they had a crush on pepper and kept trying to ask her out until she came out to them as a lesbian, then they were like :’) but theyre ride or die theyre not gonna be an ass to her because they cant date her. they just care a lot about her. its like icarly

- gazpacho and jupiter CUTE two small trans trolls in That Love. i need to develop them more but. theyre just cute

- talia is still a little too new for me to develop her......but im thinkin about it...

- kinda same with ernie and olive. they kinda mostly just exist as cute babby characters right now? if anything olive is a trouble maker and ernie is a chatterbox

- clem and thursday also fuckin cute as hell......clem was a nervous wreck asking thursday out but theyve been together like ever since, which is more than a few years. they have a rly cute gentle lovey dovey relationship. thursday is usually hanging around up on her gf’s shoulder giving her kisses on the cheek

- bea and crystal.......adorabl relationship......crystal is another character thats kinda nervous but bea is so chill n confident is helps calm her down. theyre both trans and love the hell out of each other. rly slow n steady relationship, bea is very patient

- pj and marcus!!!! dumb mlm rep relationship. pj is so so gay for marcus he can barely comprehend it. its a dumb ego boost for marcus but hes also very in love with pj, he just expresses it in a weird cocky way idk marcus is a nerd. i need to make more content for them i think about these two way more than it seems

- dwight!! he has a boat. he lives on the boat.....ive thought about maybe pairing him with toad and pike. deciding on his voice claim has been the most difficult thing ever

- kass and current HELL yeah buff gf and tol gf......they spar with swords and wrestle for fun and hang out at the beach a lot. kass fuckin loves the gem on current’s back. i gotta make more content for them

- celia......i wanna do more with celia. friends with berg probs theyre both sporty. shes just a sweet giant troll who loves mushrooms. i gotta pair her with someone whose palette goes nicely with her pastels

- carrot and harriet are literally cricket and tilly from big city greens just older. yeehaw siblings. havent thought about relationship stuff with harriet yet.....i think she also needs ANOTHER redesign her colors are just too heavy still. maybe if i can make her colors compliment celia’s that could work as a pairing? hm hm.....carrot tho is dating ford’s oc rye theyre gentle country gays

- rainer. hm. i dont think theyre rly the dating type......theyre just chill with being them. they just wanna swim and be funny

- hammond and andromeda are probs two of my least developed characters.....hammond still needs a redesign. he might be cute to pair with walter, theyre around the same age. andromeda tho i have no idea. she might be a nice pairing with eve? if i ever feel like pairing her with someone...who knows. eve is very carefree and might find andromeda’s energy too intense

- radish i wanna make more content for!! i rly like her a lot....i think shes another troll who isnt interested in dating. shes very focused on being a chef instead. loves her friends a lot!

- mack and pepper 2gether 4ever obvs......they have a relationship that gets richer with age for sure

- im just gonna ramble about mack. i thinkkkkkkk i wanna make her half latina? columbian specifically. she doesnt quite read as white and i didnt make her with the intention of making her white. anyway i love mack a whole lot and should really develop her backstory more. its not rly as like...””tragic”” or whatever as pepper’s i know that but she def has layers. i wanna give her whole family more depth. she has a very complicated relationship with her own feelings and motivations that i need to think about more fully. my powerful femme tho i lov her

- mack’s parents, robin and champagne, i need to like....think about them more. they have kinda a comedic relationship thats sorta inspired by roger rabbit and jessica rabbit. robin is a very caring, gentle troll who’s very smart and cares a lot about his nursing responsibilities in the village. champagne is very relaxed and the “voice of reason” character of the family. she loves a good party and has her party planning down to a science. both are very successful power parents. kickass family

- i already talked about topaz and marney in a separate post but i still love them both so much. big wesbiabs

- pepper....pebber. im gonna talk about her the most obviously gfhjdkrs i wanna talk about her mental health i feel like i think about it a lot but i never write about it explicitly? this is gonna be long oops hgjfksd she has depression and ptsd stemming from the trauma of her crash...im thinking she also has adhd and thats just something shes always had. her depression rly got heavy during her recovery and right after like...she hated being bed/housebound and felt rly powerless to her situation and just let it eat at her until her personality had actually changed considerably. like extroverted wild child rebel to introverted, soft-spoken sulker. this got better with time but she still is pretty introverted, just turned her moodiness into chill energy.

- she has bad depression habits like letting dishes, old food, laundry, or just stuff pile up in her room until it gets overwhelming and she spends like two days just manically cleaning; or staying in bed for way longer than she should and messing with her hygiene; or eating way more or way less than she should eat in a day. just stuff thats hard to completely break out of when youre recovering. her color is pretty consistently the dark red but if shes having a particularly rough day she might look a little paler, or like a muddy brick color at her worst. thats kinda rare tho

- her ptsd is the thing she hates the most. for a while it made her feel very weak and she’d beat herself up over being traumatized by the crash which was obviously not helpful to her mental state but she was really all over the place during her bodily recovery. its part of the reason why she started working out, she wanted to reclaim some sort of feeling of strength and power that she felt she’d lost completely. she still gets really frustrated with this feeling of loss but she gets a lot of support from loved ones which has helped her not self-blame so much. her ptsd manifests mostly as nightmares/insomnia, chronic headaches/stomachaches, intrusive thoughts and sometimes flashbacks. the nightmares are what rly get to her, she really doesnt get a lot of good sleep and it can get to the point where she just doesnt want to sleep sometimes and she’ll stay awake until she crashes hard

- her scars used to be a big trigger for her ptsd, which is why she has her bangs covering the one on her face and wears long pants (her knee braces are too bulky for pants and would force her to wear shorts which would force her to expose her scars). she just. really really hates them. this is something she struggles with for a majority of her life

- once she and mack start going steady with their dating and start consistently sleeping in the same bed, pepper starts to sleep better. she still has nightmares that wake her up at least weekly, but having mack there to comfort her (whether she wakes mack up accidentally or if mack is already awake) helps a TON with getting her back to sleep soundly. it also just helps her sleep in general to have that comforting, loving presence in her bed snuggled up to her ;w; mack is a big help in general with pepper’s mental health, pushing pepper to make better, healthier choices and get out in the village more and have fun. mack for sure does not “”cure”” pepper of anything but shes a very positive light in pepper’s life that helps her pull thru tough times!

- i love all my goofy trolls so much. its so fun to just chill and blab about them to relax between working on big projects ;o; ty if u cared enough to read this whole thing ur so rad
