I may have sent Preston to a settlement by accident, and then couldn’t find him, so I spent an hour looking for him and he was actually not at a settlement but wandering the commonwealth. Wearing out his shoeleather ♥️

One of the coolest things about finding a new (or in this case few years old) thing to be intensely interested in is that it leads to all sorts of inspiration for creating things. I decided to paint Preston… with a guita… with a post-impressionistic style (a la Vincent Van Gogh). I had loads of fun. 

Preston’s constantly whistling and humming, and I thought that was very musician-like of him.  It’s developed into a full fledged head canon that he learned to play guitar when he was a kid, and enjoyed playing for his comrades once he joined the Minutemen.  It’s not something he’s been able to do since Quincy, though. Maybe he’ll pick it back up sometime ;)

OTPtober Day 1: Autumnal

Featuring Fallout 4′s Preston Garvey and my Sole Survivor, Charlie at a pumpkin patch because it can’t get more autumnal than a pumpkin patch.  Luckily, pumpkiny, gourdy things are some of the few plants that managed to survive the Nuclear Fallout. (: I decided to post all of my OTPtober art to my main blog since I posted the prompt list on here, and I can just reblog the FO4 ones to my sideblog.

Should add that if it’s not obvious by now I am a Preston-romancer, and freedom radio is like the one thing we do not agree on.🤣

My favorite part of the Fallout show was when they played Minutemen Radio and then promptly called me out by having a character say “People don’t like this music. They get fully mad.”

I have no issues with the MM or their radio, in fact I’m rather fond of them. There are just some of us who want to SLEEP at the Castle without waking up at 3am to glory glory hallelujah fiddles OK?

This is exactly what I want from a Fallout TV show. Pathetic Brotherhood of Steel characters, a Vault Dweller who kicks ass, a hot ghoul, dubious corporations, and the hint of more New Vegas.
