How would you rank your mikes in terms of ‘how much do they need a hug’?

Cub AU: 2/10

Mike has Jeremy and his daughter and a stable job and is just differently doing really well right now he'd still appreciate a hug but he doesn't need one it has.

Inferno AU: 4/10

Mike is mentally unwell and like generally not okay but he has Charlie and his cat and that's all he really needs. A hug would still be good for him though

Gears and rot AU: 8/10

Michael is in the process of feeling his own insides begin to turn to mush well also taking care of his robot brother. He stressed out as all hell and could use a hug.

Death swap AU: 10/10

Michael has just endured like 10 plus years of Physical and psychological torture.. And now he just killed his sister without knowing it was his sister.. And now his former best friend /girlfriend for a bit is Seemingly trying to shoot him. He's a scared quivering little cat that needs so many hugs.

Fractured memories: 9/10

Michael is still dealing with weird time sickness so he might throw up on you if you hug him but he's desperately in need of a hug. He has no idea why he feels so sick.

Till death do us part (The AU William and his wife are murderers together): 6/10

Michael here could probably use a hug. Dealing with 2 serial killer parents Is a lot for one man and Charlie.

Victorian AU: 7/10

Having your dad do weird dead child blood magic to prove that he is the coolest collector of antiquities in all of London kind of makes you need hugs....

Eddie post a TikTok that’s like ‘How my husband greets me when I come home from tour’ and it’s a video of Steve looking at Eddie really confused and then saying “what are you doing here?” and then ‘How my husband looks when his platonic soulmate who he saw last week visits’ and it’s Steve picking Robin up in a hug and spinning her around.

This video gets stitched by Dustin fully calling Eddie out because he was there when Eddie came home from tour a whole five hours before Steve was supposed to pick him up from the airport. Steve’s confusion was because he thought that maybe he forgot to get him or messed up the times (because, you know, head trauma) so Eddie had to find his own ride. Dustin included video of Eddie explaining that he took an early flight to surprise him, “so are you surprised?” and Steve full-body tackling him to the ground in a bear hug and kissing him. Dustin captions it something like, “Don’t call Mom a liar.”

Mikey Goes To Oz

<Time spent: 49 hours 17 minutes>

When Mikey takes some time away from a loud family squabble he accidentally ends up getting “flushed” down the sewers. This winds up sending him to the colorful land of Oz where he meets a good witch, a wicked witch, a brainless scarecrow, a heartless Tinman, a cowardess lion, and a powerful wizard, all disguised behind very familiar faces.

A canon adjacent spin off set before the season one finale but after they discover Splinter is Lou Jitsu

I wanted to fit each of the boys into their “you’ve had this all along” category. Leo isn’t brainless, in fact he’s pretty clever with a street smart, people reading ability on par with Donnie’s intelligence. Donnie isn’t heartless, he just has a tough time expressing his feelings. They are complex and unalgorithic but he can get just as excited or sad or angry as anyone, as much as he may deny it. Raph isn’t a coward, but being brave sometimes means admitting you’re scared and that you maybe don’t have all the answers. You dont have to be strong all the time and you don’t have to do it by yourself.

In the movie Dorothy’s journey home is also a representation of her running away. The important thing was to remember there were people who cared about her. Mikey is experiencing a similar phenomenon, wanting the escape the bad vibes in the lair. His “you’ve had it all along” is interesting because it is an object, since the Ruby kneepads could’ve taken him home the whole time. And sometimes getting home means going on a journey only to realize you never left.

I put April as Glinda because Glinda appears as a defender of the weak, and I see April in a similar light. Always willing to help and beat someone up if it is so required. Splinter as The Wizard of Oz represents Splinters own willingness to hide behind different personas, his running from the past and the pulling back of the curtain for Mikey in timeline. The Wizard grows through the movie, albeit quickly, and ends up leaving Oz to go home leaving his legacy with the scarecrow, the Tinman, and the lion. In this case the passing of the baton to his sons.

Meanwhile Draxum as the wicked witch felt much more how Mikey sees Draxum at this time in the show, mostly just an antagonistic force who wants something from them. Fun fact: I imagine throughout this dream, Draxum is uninterested in being the wicked witch but is pressed into it via plot. Hence his disinterest in being “melted.”

Additional characters not pictured: Big Mama as the Wicked Witch of the East (those were her Ruby kneepads!!) and Todd as the Mayor of Munchkin Land. If you can think of more, feel free to leave them in the comments or tags.

We See Someone Come Out About Being Genderqueer And Talk About Their Own Presentation And Sense Of Self On Their Own Post And It's Immediately Responded To With "You're Fetishizing Trans Women By Thinking That You Have Anything In Common With Them."

let's review !

1: I made a Vent Post where I responded to a Cis Person, I made my own post and crossed out their username because I didn't feel like they did anything Wrong, but I wanted to discuss my feelings on it anyways!

2: these feelings were that it's upsetting that people don't seem to think about the trans perspective when discussing gender Stuff, or how marginalization in general plays a factor when discussing representation in media.

3: within Two Notes I got someone crawling into my replies and dms to talk down to me for being trans masc, so I expressed frustration that That's something that happens to me.

4: THEN somebody responded to That to insist that me expressing frustration about people lashing out at marginalized men was harmful to trans women.

you'll notice ! I was a trans person speaking about my own feelings on my own post, responding to a cis person and someone who explicitly harassed me. I did not mention trans women in this post, because it was a vent post. I explicitly say in my response to that post different kinds of trans people venting about their experiences does not imply or take anything away from other sorts of trans people.

so ! what we're left with is !

1: people being Furiously Angry that I would say that all trans people are capable of being hurt and that all trans people deserve to speak about their feelings, enough to rip things out of context and lie

2: People Just Unironically Saying With Their Entire Chest That A Trans Person Who Considers Themselves Both Masculine And Feminine Is Transmisogynistic, Because Being Genderqueer Implies That You Don't See Trans Women As Real Women. Somehow.

so like. where do we go from here huh.

firstly, there's an awareness. I need people to be Aware that this is something that is happening. that we've reached a point where people hate trans mascs so much that they're willing to tear them down for talking about Their Feelings in response to Cis People.

that we've reached a point where people get so blindly Angry when someone suggests that trans people should all be treated with dignity and respect that they're willing to act like this.

I Need people to share things like this, even if it's not this post specifically. because I Need People To Understand the kind of vitriol and hatred that trans mascs are facing simply for being visible At All.

if people aren't aware then they Will end up supporting and spreading this kind of harassment without realizing.
