Zexal Month - The Empress

So this theme is supposed to talk about our favorite character. But again I feel like I have talked about Yuma and Vector so many times. It would be cool to talk about underappreciated main characters like Tron or Durbe. But I figured I wanted to do this like the Numbers post and instead look at the characters that are nobody's favorite character! So I am going to go through the minor characters in Zexal, note anything special about them and then make-up what happens to them after the series. Going to be another longer post! @zexalmonth

I'm going to start with Kotori's friends. We see Kotori spend most of her time with the Number's club but honestly I feel like off-camera she probably spends a lot of time with them off-camera throughout the whole series. Even though they are extremely minor characters in the series I feel like they are an important but separate group of friends that Kotori treasures. Epilogue-wise they stay friends with Kotori for a long time and maybe at like Kotori's birthday party they even start to become friends with the Number's club as well. Although Rio is annoyed by how much they like Ryoga.

Let's keep talking about classmates but talking about a bunch of characters that were mostly one-ofs at the beginning of Zexal II.

Except for Taichi/Spencer who debuted early and gets tricked by Tokunosuke/Flip a lot. He was also an important enough character to appear in Arc-V! So I am going to say after Zexal he got so tired of being bullied that fled to another dimension and in Arc-V's Heartland he ended up murdering the Arc-V version of Tokunosuke/Flip.

Then we have the student council guy. Not much to say about him honestly except that he becomes really good friends with Todoroki/Caswell after the series. Sure.

The flower lady continues her flower club and goes on to become a surprisingly good duelist with her Plant Burn strategy.

The comics drawing guy goes on to become an award-winning comic book artist for her his comic called, THE LUKEMAN!

One more notable classmate, Yatagarasu. I guess he is named that as a reference to being a good soccer player but why waste such a good name on a nobody Yugioh character! Yatagarasu is an iconic Yugioh card that is responsible for creating the first ban list! I say after the series he keeps simping for Rio for some time until he meets a certain someone else on this list...

Before we leave the school we need to talk about this teacher. This guy totally goes to jail for cyberterrorism. Everything in episode 3 anf 4 wasn't an act.

Moving on to World Duel Carnival! This Soccer deck guy, he dates Yatagarasu. Speaking of dating, Construction Boy dates Anna for a little bit but she ends up dumping him. Camera guy develops a crush on Akari and becomes her stalker until she gets a restraining order put on him and eventually he ends up in jail for illegal pictures. Then the Tomato guy dies of a heart attack at a young age.

Can't forget good old Charlie McCoy! This guy has one of the only on-screen kisses in all of Yugioh ever! Thus guy! You know what, I don't have anything else to say about him.

Let's move on to one-off villains! The gangster duo from episodes 11 and 12 who took advantage of Shark end up teaming up with the first guy in Zexal II the Barians brainwashed. Together their form a criminal empire that dominates the underworld. Until the Zexal version of Ushio/Trudge takes them down.

Speaking of gangsters. Did you know that only 2 fusion monsters were ever summoned in all of Zexal? Kaito summoned 1, Twin-Photon Lizard. And these guys summoned the other! They go on to become edgelord duel champions.

Again remember this guy that worshipped Kaito for literally no reason? Yeah that is all I have to say about him. He is just funny to think about.

What I want to say about Anna's friend who get married would make this post NSFW so I ma just going to skip them...

We see the mothers of most of the Numbers Club. But did you remember that Tetsuo/Bronk also has a hot sister? Just feels like wasted potential. They could have done so much with her character!

Finally we come to this idol. Fun fact, when Girag was hinted to be coming to Duel Links, a lot of people thought this idol was being added to the game as a playable character! In episode 92, Shark plays the guitar in a band with her. So my final post-Zexal headcanon is that her and Shark are friends-with-benefits on the down-low.

Hopefully you have enjoyed this very silly list of forgettable characters. I'm sorry if your favorite was so forgettable thaat they couldn't even make this list.

Saw somebody asking about survive kids on a bus so i decided to ask something as well. How do you think the kids would react to being shipped together? (im a big takuma x kaito and shuuji x ryo fan) what would the digimon think?

Oh man this is actually so funny to think about. I could take this in a "the other kids shipping them together" way but I'm choosing to go for the meta "reacting to fanart/fanfics of themselves" thing

I like to think there would be some sense of horror amongst them, be it in a "GOD NO WHY" way or a "HOW DID THEY KNOW" way.

They would def read fics out loud at each other to embarrass each other

Would absolutely love if for some of them, finding out that people shipped them was the thing that made them have a Feelings Realization

Like with the ships you named right I'm thinkin about

Shuuji being like "I do NOT like Ryo like that...do I?" And then having a crisis.

LMAO WAIT HEAR ME OUT TAKUMA WOULD GET REALLY INTO THE FANART BECAUSE HE LIKES LOOKING AT PICTURES OF KAITO SMILING. He has 0 self awareness about it. "These people are way off, we're just friends. They drew Kaito really cute here though so—" He's a little bit dumb.

Ryo goes on a rant about how this is an invasion of privacy and he's not okay with it, but really he's just panicking because he can't gauge Shuuji's reaction very well and is afraid of his crush being grossed out at the thought of dating him. (Poor guy couldn't be more wrong lol).

Kaito's having his own crisis but that crisis is "am I really THAT obvious?" Everyone says yes with 0 hesitation. The fact that Takuma is still oblivious is officially making him insane.

THE KIDS WOULD HAVE TO EXPLAIN SHIPPING TO THE KEMONOGAMI AND IT WOULD BE A DISASTER BECAUSE NONE OF THOSE MF'S (AFFECTIONATE) HAVE FILTERS. THEY WOULD ALL SO BLATANTLY GIVE THEIR OPINIONS ON WHICH SHIPS THEY AGREE WITH AND EVERYONE WOULD BE SO EMBARRASSED HELP. Makin comments like "oh is that why you look at them like that" in front of EVERYONE.

Floramon just starts roasting everyone who gets shipped with Saki who she doesn't think is good enough for her ToT

Hello hello!!! Sorry for the late!! I wanted to put my mind into this instead of rushing it, so now I finally can!! Here we go for Kazuichi :DD -

Favorite thing about them: I think he's such a goofball!! I love to see him passionate about his talent, it's so adorable!! I really like his design (in the game) to be honest, I mean, more specifically how the colors mix together, the pink and yellow, and also his hair!! I also really enjoyed his FTEs, they were some of my favourites to do, I sadly completely glossed over Kazuichi in my first playthrough, like i barely payed any attention to him and I'm sad I didn't at least give him a chance with one FTE, bc I feel like right the first one would have made me notice him more, he's a bro type of character which I like and even though he's very insecure and doesn't trust others, his moments with Hajime are my favourites, they are so funny together. Also I thought he was very sweet in his introduction, it was one of my favourites, and I tell you, I was really almost doing at least one FTE with him in the first chapter, but the waifus were too many 😔 bros before hoes did not work. And then it's like I said, I glossed over him after that. -

Least favorite thing about them: As a character, definitely the lack of development. I was hopeful at least by the end of the game he'd accept for once he can't be with Sonia, or that he deserves better, or idk, just something? Just a little line of dialogue?! But that didn't happen and I was so disappointed. Also I feel like his character was used so much for comedy relief a lot of other things he does or that he's capable of get completely overshadowed by it, he deserved better. Now more into Kazuichi himself, I have to say I don't like characters which blindly accuse others of committing a crime with no proof, which is mostly why past chapter 1 I stopped paying attention to him due to how he behaved during the first investigation and trial. It's actually triggering for me when a character accuses another without proof, so it's very personal. It's not like I hate him bc of that, there's many characters that do that and I like them bc there's just more to them or there's even development, growth or something, but I feel like Kazuichi lacked that, and that's why I have to bring it up :( Also let's not forget Kazuichi is a pervert. Not just with Sonia but the other girls too, and it's not like I'm against a guy complimenting a girl's looks, the things that bother me are the fact he's shown to stalk a lot, be very stubborn and victimises himself whenever he doesn't get what he wants, and that's just not cool. -

Favorite line: When he gives Hajime his uhmm swimsuit, and then when Hajime refuses to wear those, Kazuichi says "What is it then?! Are you telling me you don't wanna match with me?!" I thought that was funny. Oh and in his last FTE, if we pick the option "date" and he answers with "That's right. Two people having fun at the beach will eventually get close to each other, and then... ...Wait, you and me!? What'll happen if I dream about that tonight!?". Well like I said, his interactions with Hajime like these are my favs, he's funny. -

BrOTP: Ibuki!! I feel like he and Ibuki could be such good friends, actually best friends!! Ibuki helping Kazuichi relax, be more confident, and also they'd totally talk about girls together!! But Ibuki would totally teach Kazuichi about personal space and respect towards girls. They'd support each other so much I just see it. I like to picture Kazuichi in Hajime's place for Ibuki's 4th FTE where they just swing their heads back and forth. I feel like they'd have fun together! Anddd of course I said I like Kazuichi as BrOTP with Kaito on Kaito's ask, so I have to mention Kaito here as well. Actually I discovered something new, I totally did not remember that Kazuichi said he liked rocket ships in his FTE, omg I thought that was a headcanon by the people that made those fanarts and comics of Kazuichi and Kaito together, omg it's so sweet!!!!!!!!!!!! They'd get along for sure now!!!! Awwww!!! -

OTP: Don't really have a very strong ship with Kazuichi which to call "OTP", I'm not crazy for any ships with him, but I do like a few, like for example with Hajime or Fuyuhiko. I could also see him with Chiaki, but I didn't actually analyse their dynamic at all, I just love Chiaki a lot and I think she'd be good with anyone. And..... Nagito! I was not a fan of Soumaeda until the anime, I'm sorry but I freaking love them there. In the game not so much really, but in the anime I do enjoy Soumaeda. -

NOTP: Well obviously Sounia. For so many reasons, but in summary: Sonia doesn't like him, he can't respect it, he likes and admires her, but doesn't actually get her at all and is constantly making her feel uncomfortable. Also, I don't know how I feel about Soudham. Like, I never imagined they'd be such a popular ship in the fandom and a very sweet one actually. I do not like them in canon, but the way the fandom portrays them actually makes me see the potential!! I like the fanarts and I really don't mind reading about them, but I'm talking about Soudham here under the "NOTP" section instead of the "OTP" bc really it would not be a first choice for me. I think they are sweet in the fandom, but no, I don't actually like them together in canon. -

Random headcanon: Uhhh hmmm ahhh ehh ahh hmm he makes some mechanic toys or things, or idk what to call it, but like the little robot Nekomaru for example, for his friends, it's his way of saying "I consider you my friend, I trust you". ALSO I GOTTA ADD (added after posting: Him making a cute rocket ship toy for Kaito when he begins considering him a friend and trusting him!!!!!!!!! YAHHHH) -

Unpopular opinion: I don't know if I have any unpopular opinion on him, hmmm well I think a lot of people like to reduce him to a simp, and sure he is one, but I think he deserved development and deserved better from the writers, 'cause I feel like his character could be so interesting? No actually now that I think about it, his character really had so much potential, I hate how they reduced him to comedy relief. -

Song i associate with them: I don't have any songs that remind me of him, but actually I never really thought of him when listening to any song or getting inspiration for my videos, maybe I'd have to listen more closely, bc I feel like it shouldn't be too hard to find a song to associate with him. But yeah sorry I don't have any at the moment :(( -

At the mention of Kaito having gifts for him as well, he perked up. "You got some things for me, too...?" He honestly thought the date in itself was the gift, which Shuichi more than loved; so to hear Kaito still had gifts for him, made him feel all the more lucky right now, that he has such a wonderful boyfriend.

"O-Okay!! I'm sure you will do a wonderful job taking care of them, with how great you are with plants." Kaito even wanting to do that for the roses, to make sure they stay alive as long as possible... it made him so happy. Then his reaction to the mason jar made him giggle, clasping his hands together as he asks: "D-Do you like it? Ah, and as for the hot chocolate, it is sugar-free, no worries. I made sure of it." Specifically by handpicking each ingredient himself, making sure that it was sugar-free.

When Kaito handed him his gifts- "Ahhh... !" Shuichi's eyes widened, gasping in awe. "O-Oh, my... Kaito, these are wonderful!!" He carefully holds everything in one arm, using the other to closely examine each gift. "I have been needing some new books to write in, so this is perfect. I can't wait to use them! And this magnifying glass keychain... I adore the design of a galaxy in the middle; it's so beautiful... I'll put this on my bag right away!! And maybe switch it up from time to time and wear it on my pants loop, too!" In fact, he carefully placed the books and chocolates down, so that he could carefully place the keychain on his bag. "Perfect... what do you think?" He beams, thinking it pairs perfectly with his bag. "I promise to take absolute care of this, and the books. Thank you so much for such wonderful gifts, Kaito.."

Humming into the kiss, he whispers into it: "You're the best boyfriend a guy could ever have...." Once he has to break away from the kiss, that's when he picks the box of chocolates back up, before opening them. "Ohh, coffee chocolates, I see... ! They smell so good: I'd like to try one right now if that's okay!" Giddily picking up a piece, he plops it into his mouth, humming at how delicious it was. "And taste just as good, too: thank you, Kaito! I'll happily enjoy them. Would you like to share them together? If they won't be too sweet for you, that is...!"

hey!! so a while back somebody asked me to write my thoughts on and rank kaito’s relationships with every member of the v3 cast the way that i did with rantaro on my main blog and since i’m procrastinating on writing a fic right now i figured i’d go ahead and do it. please remember these are all my personal opinions that you absolutely do not have to agree with! that said i enjoy kaito with preeetty much everybody so there shouldn’t be anything TOO polarising in here. lol

this is going to get long, so i’m putting it under the cut. i’ll be ranking them in order of least favourite to most favourite.

kaito + korekiyo (2/10)

i’m sorry i just do not believe.

okay, i’m just being silly. i do believe, a little bit, it’s just that i kind of don’t like this pairing? lol i’m sure i’ve talked about it before but most justifications i’ve heard for shipping this are just that like... kaito wouldn’t judge kiyo postgame? i guess? which i would never try to argue against, i just don’t know if i’m a fan of shipping kaito based on whether he can save someone or not. kaito deserves better.

having said that, i DO like them, even romantically sometimes. i think there’s a beauty about shipping two nerds and i think kiyo would fluster kaito a LOT with his specific brand of compliments... i think they could infodump to each other. and i think they could take care of each other, as a special treat. also kaito deserves a tall boyfriend.

kaito + tsumugi (3/10)

don’t come after me for this peter. you know i love your rambles about them. but they don’t interact a lot in the game and their most significant interactions ingame are, uh... tsumugi insinuating that he’s an idiot? i’m not really a fan.

having said that, i AM friends with peter, and i DO like the idea of these two interacting. something something creator and her creation, i’d love to read an introspective about kaito not wanting to be a hero and tsumugi being freaked the fuck out about it. alternatively kaito coming to terms with the fact that tsumugi just genuinely likes being plain i think could be really funny. i don’t see these two romantically much at all but i think it’d be fun for them to be friends. plus she’d make him cosplay and he’d have fun even if he wouldn’t admit it. god bless.

kaito + kirumi (5/10)

welp. we’ve run out of easy ones to throw under the bus. i’m officially fucked. i actually like these two a lot, they’re just ranking so low because i don’t think about them often... or kirumi often... kirumi my queen i’m sorry to do you like this.

i think kaito would respect her a lot. i can see him working hard to make things easier on her and getting everyone else’s asses so they give her the appreciation she deserves. similarly i think kirumi would admire him a little and think he’s a good guy-- kirumi has that way of seeing through people’s facades to their true potential and i think she’d sort of realise how much kaito just puts on a front for other people, and admire it. mutual respect if nothing else. i also think they could take care of each other though and i’d love to see them romantically... they fight to open doors asmr.

kaito + himiko (5/10)

another one that i really can’t stand romantically HAHA. this one has less solid reasoning behind it and more because i just kin both of them so hard it’s a little bit disorienting. also maybe i can’t imagine them getting along well enough to actually date. sue me.

i would love to see them bicker though. these two are both so childish it’d be really funny to just watch them go at it. thinking about the vibes of himiko demanding someone carry her and kaito snapping that nobody will in chapter five. they’re funny and immature and i want that. i also think about kaito inviting himiko along with his fight monokuma crew in chapter one “just in case her magic works” and cackle at times. kaito, you’re an astronaut... still, i think they could enjoy being edgy edgelords together. chuuni syndrome is contagious, i swear to god.

kaito + angie (6/10)

this is already getting really hard. the low middle ones are always the hardest.

i didn’t used to understand this ship much just because i think kaito would probably be a little afraid of angie? but i love the idea of her clinging to him and him being like, mildly annoyed but endeared by it. i think she’d paint him and call him beautiful and her muse and kaito would be insanely flustered and flattered and tell her to quit saying all of that nonsense. and angie would giggle.

i can also see kaito really helping her? angie struggles i think with repression, like she always has to keep smiling, and i think kaito would see that and help her while still being assertive and telling her no, which is something angie totally needs in a relationship, so it’d work out on her end-- but i can also see angie calling kaito out on being a hypocrite and them working together to sort through their problems mutually. it could be cute. also yes it reminds me of tenkangie. tenkangie is still better, i just, i just, leave me alone.

also angie wearing kaito’s jacket. duh.

kaito + kiibo (6/10)

i feel like i’m going to lose followers for placing cyberspace so low but the fact of the matter is i... really don’t think about kiibo that much. in general. i’m sorry king you really are a real one your writing is just... kind of a little bit bad. it’s not your fault.

i love kiibo. he’s easily one of the most empathetic characters in v3. i can’t see him putting kaito on a pedestal at all. he’d admire kaito for his bravery and integrity but i think he’d just see kaito as a friend, too, instead of somebody to worship. i do think kiibo would be ride or die for him, though. and of course kaito would encourage kiibo to follow his passions and they’d be silly little guys together and isn’t that all to want in a relationship. plus kaito could probably take kiibo to space or something and that would be delightful i don’t actually know jaxa’s laws surrounding bringing fully sentient teenage robots to space you’ll have to come back to me on that one.

kaito + gonta (7/10)

(stares mournfully at rantaro wax figurine) oh amami-chan we’re really in it n-- actually i think i made this joke on my rantaro post too. nevermind bit cancelled.

i LOVE these two. every time i think about them i think about chapter four, which, can you blame me? just the energy of kaito believing so hard in gonta because he KNEW he was telling the truth, to the point where he was recklessly endangering everyone? like yes king think with ur heart not ur head. i’ll love you for it even if shuichi won’t.

seriously though, these two are so fun. they both struggle with the desire to help and take care of people... they both internalise that they’re stupid... they’re both science nerds... they could INFODUMP to each other... and take CARE of each other... i headcanon kaito to think that bugs are cool so i like the idea of gonta showing him all kinds of bug specimens and kaito going wild over it. not to mention they’re both really good at the stars, too... kaigonta stargazing, wowww... they are the part of saigokumota that i shamefully think about the least but i should think of them more. i just think they’re neat.

kaito + miu (7/10)

i already know craig glownary is out there putting me on a hitlist or something for putting irumota so low but i, listen. listen. i’m running out of options here.

these two are THE slowburn frenemies to lovers pairing ever. the bickering. the cinematic parallels. they’re both hot with no brains yet they have so much brains. they both have dumb titles. they’re both pink toned. it’s about the false bravado. it’s SO much about the false bravado. kaito would be gentle with her without taking shit from her and miu would show her support and affection when he really needs it and god she would struggle but she would try and it’d mean the world to him. miu knowing kaito is the epitome of “i’m not being used to being treated like i’m beautiful” and i just think that’s neat.

also miu would look good in kaito’s jacket. maybe these are just being ranked based on how good they would look in kaito’s jacket. who knows.

kaito + ryoma (8/10)

we’re getting deep into slim pickings territory. i really do hate to put hoshimota so close to the middle but you know how it is. you KNOW how it is.

these two... oh my god. i cry over them daily. kaito’s unspoken idolisation of ryoma. ryoma’s bitterness and resentment of himself coming out as bitterness towards kaito. kaito reminding ryoma of his old self. kaito needing ryoma to be strong, to be the person he used to be, because if ryoma can’t be a hero, is it even worth being a hero? is it even worth believing himself? all his life he’s been aspiring to an ideal that’s no longer being upheld by the very person he admires most...

i can’t see these two dating. LMAO. sorry! i can’t. i see kaito yearning for ryoma and then eventually just... breaking off? i feel like it would be too painful for him to be around ryoma knowing he’s holding ryoma to an impossible standard. if they did get together it would be after a lot of self-work on both ends. i’d really like them to get closure where kaito admits to ryoma that he’s always been putting him on a pedestal, really quite unfairly, and that he’s sorry, and ryoma admitting that he just doesn’t want kaito to lose his spark by hanging around a guy like him... UGH. nevermind. these two invented tragic romance. their tdp event makes me feral.

kaito + maki (8/10)

now i do love me some harumota and y’all know this. i think maki would be higher if she didn’t hit kaito in chapter three. maybe that’s a little stupid of me but what can i say, it’s the kin.

these two are... incredible. i love maki not knowing what love is and progressively opening up and putting her faith in kaito. she knows it’s stupid and she knows she’s just going to lose him but she can’t help it, he’s just so good. kaito can see all the red flags around maki, that she’s dangerous and violent and can’t communicate her emotions, but he believes in her so deeply anyway, he knows she has such a capacity to love, to take care of people, and he just wants more than anything to help her...

these two have SO MUCH potential that wasn’t explored in canon. i realise chapter five IS her protecting him but i’m begging you to think about what maki protecting him would look like when they have a healthy relationship. maki telling kaito bluntly that she doesn’t care if he’s a hero, that she just wants to pay him back for all he’s done for her. kaito being her voice of reason, her comfort, her safety blanket, even if she’s often the one fighting to keep him safe. maki telling people off for calling him an idiot before realising that she does that all the time... ugh. kaimaki is something that can actually be so personal.

i also love them platonically. i love maki thinking she loves kaito because she’s never been loved before and realising actually she just... likes him as a friend and can’t tell the difference. LOL.

kaito + tenko (9/10)

pants heavily through my mouth. we’re getting to the REAL brainrot section of this list. kaito and tenko are best friends actually, kodaka told me himself.

i want them to FIGHT. god i want them to fight. that ministarfruit post where they’re like “i want them to fight!” and it’s just tenko and kaito about to fight. so true. SO true. these two need to spar. i think they’d have fun together. plus the energies of tenko flipping kaito onto his back and seeing how much emotion he hides from his friends... knowing he’s hurting but not wanting to pry... mwah. mwah. mwah. mwah. mwah.

i don’t think kaito would try and challenge her beliefs about men, at least not in an overt or forceful way. i think he’d be patient with her, even while denying that he’s at all a degenerate. i think he’d help tenko to form positive, meaningful relationships with people, male and female, until she starts to break away from her master’s conditioning and... help talk her through it. help her get the resources to get therapy. ugh. i’m BEGGING you to think about these two taking care of each other. they are ride or die for each other. grips you. it’s about the parallels. IT’S ABOUT THE PARALLELS.

kaito + shuichi (9/10)

THESE TWO!!!! every day i wake up i brush my teeth i eat my cereal and i think about shuichi and kaito’s chapter 4/5 conflict. i think about shuichi hyperfocusing on the case and not sticking up for kaito. i think about kaito admiring shuichi so much that he starts to resent him, starts to fear shuichi not needing him, starts to get desperate for reasons for shuichi to keep him around... not knowing that shuichi wants nothing more than for kaito to stay by his side, just as he is, and maybe let his guard down a little. UGH these two are TRAGIC and i’m so mad about them. oh my god. shuichi’s attempts to verbalise to kaito how important he is both getting cut off is homophobia against ME specifically. holy shit.

literally the epitome of stupid friends to lovers. shuichi’s braincells go out the window when kaito’s in the room actually. i love exploring them because they bring out such fascinating sides of each other and there’s so so SO much growth for them to do. i want them to deal with shuichi’s idolisation issues that stem from abandonment and with kaito’s fear of being vulnerable and i want them to work through it together and i started crying in chapter six when shuichi said the impossible is possible and i hope you did too,,, these two make me so so so tender. shuichi getting remotivated to go save kaito BECAUSE it’s kaito. shuichi focusing so hard on “finding the truth” that it inadvertently ruins the plan and gets kaito killed. man. MAN. these two huh. these fucking two.

kaito + kaede (9/10)

you can’t see it because i’m behind a computer screen but i’m literally vibrating so hard my pants are like, actively aflame. even if i were in front of you you wouldn’t be able to see me due to the frequency of my vibrations. i am so fucking fast. these two make me so goddamn excited.

kaito is RIDE OR DIE for kaede and i’ll never stop saying it. the way he sticks up for her in chapter one. THE WAY HE STICKS UP FOR HER IN CHAPTER ONE!!! the way that he’s so so so upset after she’s dead that he’s crying and unable to control himself and lashes out at shuichi even though it’s not his fault and i just... UGH. ugh. kaito wants to make her proud so hard and don’t worry buddy you did it... these two are so fucking sweet.

he supports her so much. oh my god. his belief in kaede is literally so fucking potent. he asks her to become an ASTRONAUT in his ftes... and to teach him how to play the piano... i want more content with them so bad it makes me feel stupid. and the TUNNEL scene when kaito sticks up for her and then encourages her and kaede just stays behind in the tunnel and her narration says “Thank you, Kaito...” i’m literally crazy i cannot be normal about these two.

i think kaede would really come to appreciate him and his unwavering support of her. i think she’d especially notice how much he’s always on her side when he starts to struggle and flicker in and out, like sort of realising how much he’s always there for her and strongly wanting to do the same. i think kaede would be sooo adamant about caring about him, not some hero who doesn’t exist, and i just. hghghgh.

also you’ll never guess what i’m going to say but kaede? in kaito’s jacket? oh baby.

kaito + kokichi (10/10)

myself of a couple years ago is literally foaming at the mouth. she’s crying and spitting and trying to come through the screen and kill me. and honestly she can suck it because oumota is SO GOOD.

they’re... rivals. kaito chases kokichi all of chapter two just to try and talk to him. kokichi plays it up but i feel like they were both enjoying themselves? they’re both childish little guys... just having fun... playing hero and villain... ugh. the way that their free time events mirror each other too, the way kaito’s is full of extravagant stories about him being a hero where he’s clearly describing playing pretend games as a kid and kokichi’s is full of lies about him being a villain where he’s clearly telling exaggerated stories about his little club back home... these two are literally so good and i haven’t even MENTIONED chapter five yet.

by the way, chapter five? holy shit. (my pupils dilate like a cat’s and i start making fire alarm noises with my mouth.) hey fellas is it gay to agree to kill your rival in a plan that would end up sacrificing you both to end the thing you both mutually want to destroy? ugh. kaito getting in the way of the crossbow bolt. kaito carrying kokichi to the press. kokichi asking him for a kiss because he’s never gotten to kiss anybody before. kaito jumping out of the exisal wearing kokich’s scarf. kokichi dying with kaito there and kaito dying alone. these two make me insane. THESE TWO MAKE ME INSANE!!!!

i think they could bring out the best in each other? i think kokichi could challenge kaito to be a little more selfish and i think kaito could inspire more genuine belief in people in kokichi? like i feel like they can both peel away each other’s layers and make each other... better. more genuinely themselves. there’s just something really lovely about that, the mutual vulnerability, the way they can take care of each other... i love them and i love the way that they love. that’s all.

kaito + rantaro (11/10)

if you read my rantaro post you already knew this one was coming. i know i’m making a clown out of myself for putting a rarepair (if you can even call amamota that anymore which btw i am taking full credit for) in number one place, but listen. listen. i don’t choose the brainrot. it’s not my fault.

these two are... neat. they’re neat. rantaro leans pessimistic and kaito leans optimistic but they both try to take care of the people around them and sacrifice themselves for the ones they love... kaito is intuitive and rantaro is observant... kaito runs hot and rantaro runs cool... it’s about that contrast in similarity, baby. rantaro offers kaito a space to just... relax, and be himself, and kaito is like a home for rantaro, a hearth, something consistent he can always come back to.

i think there’s a bit of a push and pull with them in the beginning, they’re both trying so hard to be the one to shove their problems to the side and take care of the other, but neither of them is okay with that and they both want to be close so they accept that... they kind of have to give a little if they want to have this relationship, and if they want to help! so they do, and it turns into them... seeing their own flaws in one another and realising how harmful it is.

rantaro helps kaito to communicate without taking the blame for everything, he encourages kaito to be honest with his friends and think things through. kaito keeps rantaro grounded, he keeps rantaro from sprinting off at the first sign of conflict or vulnerability. they take care of each other. kaito isn’t USED to being treated like he’s someone beautiful and valuable and being with someone who is open about how they feel and how they love but rantaro is SO open because he’s so tired of losing people and he’s not going to let kaito slip away before he’s managed to express how he feels... my god.

these two are my BIG amab nonbinary headcanons and i really love the idea of kaito coming to rantaro to talk about gender struggles... i think rantaro would be so supportive and understanding without making kaito feel weird about it. i just think they have so much potential to really Understand each other in a way that they can’t understand anybody else.

also!!! them stargazing together? them sailing together? kaito helping rantaro find his sisters? rantaro quizzing kaito on space facts to help him prepare for exams and encouraging him? these two. these two. grips your shoulders SO fucking hard. oh my god.

V3 Boys With an Overdramatic Fem!S/O

Sigh.

That's all he does is just sigh.

He tries to word things in a way that wouldn't make you feel the need to do any theatrics, but sometimes it can't be avoided.

"S/O... We can't go on our date tonight. I'll be too caught up with work, and... there she goes."

He watched as you rested your hand on your forehead, falling backwards onto the couch, telling him to "go, go on without you".

He jumped when he heard dramatic organ music, and looked to see Kaede playing ab organ right in your living room.

"K-Kaede?! When did you-? Why is-?! How-"

Kaede shrugged, pressing the keys as you continued your monologue.

"She hired me, and I get to play an organ!"

It's a good thing he has patience!

He doesn’t quite know how to keep you from reacting in the way that you do, so he just lets it happen.

“S/O, my dear, you know that I’ll gladly support you through any emotional turmoil you may face...but all they announced was that this was their final season-”

He watched as you laid across your special fainting couch, whining about how you would have to suffer when your favorite show ended.

“Hmm... I never knew that human emotions could be so fragile before I met you.”

Kiyo didn’t mean it in a bad way, but he regretted saying anything after seeing your reaction.

“Now, now! All I meant was that, according to the studies I’ve conducted, most people usually save these dramatics for the theatre.”

Kiyo, stop talking.

“Really, I think you may have a natural affinity for it, S/O! Nobody would be able to compete with your over exaggeration of the emotions that you display, not by a mile~”

Kiyo. Stop. Talking.

I hope everybody around you has prepared themselves because there is absolutely no turning back.

If somebody were to insult you, you’d act like you’d been shot in the heart, falling into Kokichi’s arms.

Here come the crocodile tears.

Don’t worry, it works the other way around too.

“What did you just say? You think we’re overdramatic? WAAAAAAAAAAAAH, I CAN’T EVEN EXPRESS MY EMOTIONS ANYMORE!”

The two of you could fill a pool with how many tears you produce.

Sometimes Kaede plays the piano for dramatic effect.

“Kaede, will you stop encouraging them? This is a serious problem.”

“I don’t know, I just think it’s kind of funny.”

He's just... over it man.

Ryoma just really does not care anymore.

Every time he tells you news he already knows what’s coming.

“Well, S/O, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but I heard the dog dies in the movie.”

Cue his girlfriend crying and monologuing about how the poor animal deserves to live!! He deserves to live!!

“...are you done yet?”

Everyone else in the movie theater lobby was staring at you after you’d been wailing about how Hollywood deserves to perish for their crimes.

Ryoma didn’t really like being the center of attention, so he just grabbed your hand and led you to the movie, a little embarrassed.

He doesn't get it :(.

"Why is S/O acting like that? It looks like her emotions system has gone into overdrive!"

He looked at you rolling around on the floor, after your favorite characters in the book you were reading kissed.

"Sorry, but us meatbags don't have hard drives! Not like you have any idea what it's like. She's just being dramatic, tell her to quit being such a drama queen!"

"I refuse to tell my girlfriend how to live her life! I will comfort her instead!"

He bends down to your level, and attempts to comfort you.

"S/O, don't worry! I will do everything in my power to make sure you're feeling better once again!"

He's so used to eccentric people that nothing fazes him anymore.

“Here she goes again. Thanks a lot for bringing it back up, Kokichi.”

You started to cry about the death of your favorite character, how they shouldn’t have been killed off so early. They barely had time for any real character development! Oh, the humanity! When will the pain end?!

Kokichi laughs because he knew you were going to do it, which is why he brought them up in the first place.

Rantaro crosses his arms and lets you complete your monologue.

“She’ll get tired eventually.”

I mean, really, it would’ve been so much better if that other character had died in their place! They were super boring throughout the whole game anyways, everybody probably forgot they existed most of the time because they were soooooo irrelevant to the plot!

“Mmmhm. That’s nice, baby.”

He’s not even paying attention, he’s flipping through a magazine.

He actually buys into it.

He actually listens to every word that you say when you tend to talk on and on about the tiniest things.

Talking about how that dastardly butterfly scared you half to death by landing on your shoulder?

“Gonta make sure butterfly no can scare S/O anymore!”

If you “faint”, he rushes to catch you, and gives you a piggyback ride.

“S/O should be more careful!”

Freaks out whenever you get overly upset.

"Miu no should say bad things to S/O! S/O is very upset!"

Gives you giant hugs to help you calm down.

"Gonta will always be here to cheer up S/O!"

Doesn't know how to react.

He always tends to forget how dramatic you are, so he says things without realizing that it may upset you.

“Yeah, some guy tried to fight me earlier today, but-”

Kaito? Someone was trying to hurt your Kaito? But why?!

He frowned as you started to cling onto his jacket. You told him how you regretted not being there for him in his hour of need, and how you were basically the "worst girlfriend ever".

"Hey, S/O! You know I still love you, right?"

You weren't listening as you told him how you understood if he broke up with you.

Rolling his eyes, he grabbed you and kissed you to make you shut up.

"I said, I love you! You're such a drama queen, S/O, I'm fine! It'll take a lot more to faze Kaito Momota!"

My Ships!

Hey guys! So currently it's late at night and I wanna write something to help me sleep. So here I am on my phone quickly writing out all my ships down so you guys can see what a loser I am lol.

Now feel free to discuss your opinions, but dont start any ship wars or bash anyone's ships, alright? Cool! So here we go! Each ship will have a short explanation as to why I ship it. And they are in order from favorite to least, though my least favorite is still one I like.

Ishimondo-This is my biggest comfort ship. I love enemies to lovers so much and these two idiots are just...such a beautiful tragedy.

Saimota-Can someone say bromance? Like please they were flirting so hard it hurts. They are dating your honor.

Saimatsu-Please the way she was able to motivate him? Even after death she helped him improve. They had such chemistry from the very beginning.

SakurAoi-Yeah yeah Sakura has a bf whatever. But they technically werent dating yet cause they were waiting til Kenshiro got well. So...LES GO LESBIANS! Hina was about to commit murder suicide for her boo. Literally lovers.

HaruKaito-So even besides the fact Maki straight up confesses, I disagree with people saying they dont have chemistry. They're adorable and Kaito opens her up to people. This ship is adorable af.

Tokomaru-Similair to Kaito and Maki! Komaru helped Toko be a better person! Like I hated Toko at first, but after UDG, shes a top tier favorite. This ship is too cute.

Soudam-Again I love enemies to lovers. Idgaf if they never show romantic interest in each other shut up. They're beautiful bastards, both of them.

Fuyupeko-...do...do I really need to explain? Just play the second chapter again lol.

Hinanami-Im not a big fan of Hajime. In fact hes my least fave protag. But I think the way they interact and the way he is around Chiaki is too fucking cute.

Sondam-They had the more obvious chemistry in the game, and I love Sonia with Gundham. They fit each perfectly, having similar interests. Plus how sad she was when he died? 😭

Kiiruma-Ok so they're a perfect fit right? Kiibo was one of the only ones to even care when Miu died, and Miu seemed to care about Kiibo. Yeah because she could upgrade him, but I feel theres more there!

Naihiro-Now this is a rare pair. I think the two of them are very cute and soft boys, so they relate to each other. Theyd be a very sweet couple.

Akanidai-Nekomaru literally died to protect Akane, and took two bazookas to the chest for her. They were inseparable. Case closed. They cute.

Daiyakure-Another rarepair. It's hard to ship Hiro with people cause you'll get hit with the "hes 21 and they're underage" argument. But with Daiya Oowada, you can say hey, fuck you! Theres literally no interactions between them. It's almost a crack ship. But I love it more than I should.

Naekure-Another Hiro ship, but this one can be justified by saying they start dating after they escape the game and they know they're both adults. I think Makoto would be a decent balance to Hiro's...everything.

Togakure-Same logic as with Makoto as to when they get together. Byakuya would be able to deal with his idiot enough to calm him down slightly. Plus it would be a funny contrast.

Ishikure-Ok now this is a bit harder to explain. I see it more as they were dating before the mind wipe, and in survivor aus theyd date again. I just think Hiro being the only one to care about him after ch 2 is sweet and that the two would be cute.

Hagekureon-Same reasoning as with Taka;Hiro and Leon were dating before the game and/or they date in survivor aus. I think the two idiots together would be an interesting combo, like with Ishimondo.

Naegami-Finally, back to well known ships!😅 So Byakuya clearly cares for Makoto even if he tries to hide it. He'd be a good partner to Makoto, if not a bit tsundereish.

Kuzusouda-Fuyuhiko was like the only one to try to curb Kazuichi's simping, and they have a nice friendship in the anime(from what I've seen and heard, havent seen all of it😅)so I think Fuyu would be able to help Kaz accept himself.

Asakure-Once again, getting together after game. My friend put it as "the two idiots getting together. Its cute." And hes not wrong lol Despite Hina being slightly smarter and the fact she bullied Hiro a bit in game, I can see them working off each other nicely.

Goshi-Firstly I just love the striking difference in their heights. It's funny as hell to me lmao. But secondly I think Gonta's sincereness and kindness could eventually break through to Ryoma and help him realize he isnt unlovable, and he is worth something.

Twobuki-I just think Ibuki's constant praise and lowkey flirting with Twogami is adorable, especially given his...size. Usually people would make a character like that completely unlovable, so the fact she was seen doting on him so much is adorable.

BandAid-Now I normally dont ship killers and victims. It just doesnt feel right to me. But given Mikan was more or less brainwashed into doing it, i kinda give this ship a pass. Plus i think Ibuki could help her be more confident in herself and stop letting others use her.

Soapies-I dont really like either of these characters, thus why its last on the list, but I think Mahiru is the only one who could "tame" Hiyoko, for lack of a better word. She could help her stop being a bully and actually open up to others. Plus they both care a lot about each other. It's cute. Its sweet.

So that's my list! It might grow, and if it does I'll reblog this post to add onto it! Feel free to give your opinions on it, but remember: no ship wars!

How To (Not) Date a Celebrity

Step One: (Don’t) Accidentally Get Drunk and Hook-up With Them

7 months before the Concert

“CINDER!” Iko screeched from inside. Cinder jumped and hit her head on the engine of the car. She cursed and rolled out into the open, where it wasn’t as congested, and got underneath the car. She took a second to relish the coolness of October before answering her friend.

“What?” she called, inspecting the garage. It was messy, as usual, with tools hanging in no particular order or parts left around somewhere random.

“I GOT US TICKETS TO PRINCE KAI’S CONCERT!” squealed Iko as she opened the film door in the corner of the garage, “AND GUESS WHAT?!”

“What?”

“OURS ARE VIP’S!” her heels clacked against the concrete floors and she was about to throw her arms around Cinder before reconsidering, “You look... greasy.”

Cinder sighed, “I was under this car for twenty minutes, of course, I am,” she started fidgeting with her gloves, “and you look nice, where are you going?”

Iko smiled and curtsied, showing off a simple pink dress that stopped just below the knees with spaghetti straps, “Cress set me up a blind date- OH AND I FORGOT TO MENTION: Scar, Wolf, Cres, and Jacin are going too, but we only have the VIP Tickets,” she winked, “OH I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THE ONE AND ONLY: KAITO PRINCE!”

“That’s his actual name?”

“Yup.”

“Oh. Then his ‘singer name’ is kinda unoriginal,” Cinder used her fingers to mimic quoting.

Iko frowned, “Well-” Her phone interrupted her, “Oop, gotta take this, it's Ms. Linetti, BRB.”

Cinder nodded, thinking Iko was kind of funny using texting acronyms in real-life conversations. She sighed and sat back down to work on the car.

She rubbed her eyes, groaning. Tired as she was, she needed to fix this car today, as she promised.

Why was Iko so excited for a guy? It’s only a concert. ‘VIP Tickets are cool though’ she thought, ‘maybe I can get excited like Iko too.’

The Concert

The concert was packed. People of all ages were everywhere and even the VIP section was full. Kai smiled, feeling relieved that the tour was over and he only had to go on a plane one more time to go home.

“Mr. Prince, we added an after-concert VIP Ticket Meet, so you have to go and, well meet them,” Torin said absentmindedly, “an announcement has been said so it’ll be best that you make your way there.”

“Of course, thank you for reminding me Torin,” his manager nodded.

Kai run a hand through his hair and wished for a hoodie to feel more comfortable. He chose instead to wear what he was wearing during the performance to greet his fans. That was a ‘thin button-down white shirt with the first three to four buttons unbuttoned’- exact words from Gina, the clothing lady, as she liked to be called.

He stopped before the lounge room, where the VIPs waited. They’ve been there for a bit, taking advantage of the drinks available. Kai sighed. Hopefully, no one would try to make out with him this time. He opened the door and was immediately met with a girl that had varying shades of braided blue hair. Soft jazz was playing through the speakers, to make the room more comfortable and some people were swaying to it. He switched his attention to the girl.

“OH MY STARS,” she squealed, “IT’S YOU! I’M FIRST! CAN I HAVE A PHOTO?”

Kai remembered her when she asked for a selfie earlier, “Iko, right?”

“AH, YOU REMEMBER ME!” she turned to the brunette next to her with tanned skin and a drink in her hands, “CINDER HE REMEMBERS ME!” Iko shook the girl.

“Oh, that’s great Iko,” she said, prying Iko’s hands off her. She then looked at her empty drink, “I’m going to get another drink, see you later.”

“B-BUT HE’S RIGHT-,” Iko sighed, “Sorry about her, she’s been a bit, erm-impossible today,” she looked back at Kai, “Can I have another photo?”

For some reason, he found himself staring at the brunette’s back. Nobody in a long time had treated him with such disinterest. He smiled. It was sort of refreshing.

Kai looked back at Iko, “Of course, you may.”

(Cinder’s POV)

Later That Night

Cinder sighed, feeling light-headed. She sat on the couch and spread out her limbs. Iko had said something about Ms. Linetti and told her to get a ride from Cress or something. Maybe she’ll order an Uber or catch a taxi.

“Excuse me, is anyone else sitting here?” she looked up and recognized the voice immediately. It was Kaito Prince, the reason she was in this place. He wouldn't stop talking to her, so she just accepted his presence. Then she started taking back and they drank together. After that, they started a drinking game and now she was sure one of them was drunk. Maybe both. But not her.

She frowned, “No, but go away.”

“Sorry?”

“Leave me beeee.”

He turned around and frowned, “There’s no one else here.”

“They left,” he furrowed his eyebrows.

“Wait, where are we?!”

Cinder thought they were still at the VIP lounge but it looked like a... Hotel? “Oh my gosh, did you kidnap me?” she asked.

“No, no, I don’t know, did I?”

“I don’t know.”

“I’m going to sleep,” he walked over to the bed, “goodnight.”

Cinder frowned and walked to the bed as well, “move I want to sleep too,” Kai made space.

After a few minutes of silence, he began to squirm, “I’m hot.”

“You didn’t know that?”

“No I mean I’m physically hot.”

“Yes you are, Mr. Good-Looks.”

“No, I’m sweating.”

“Oh. Me too,” Cinder hummed, “If we take off our shirts we wouldn't be as hot.”

“Good idea,” They stripped off their top layers, “much better.”

After a few seconds of silence, Kai spoke again, “Cinder?”

“Hmm?”

“Goodnight.”

“Goodnight, Kai.”

Cinder fell asleep, not knowing she would forget everything in the morning.

(The Next Morning)

Rays of sunlight fell on Cinder’s face, disturbing her sleep. She groaned and twisted around on her other side, pulling the sheets to her neck.

She had to get up, so many things to do, so little time, but her body wouldn't let her. She felt terrible, what did she do last night- oh right. The concert and the bass made her heart pound painfully. The VIP Tickets and the VIP Lounge. Iko left early because Ms. Linetti was being difficult. And the star of the show: Prince Kai.

He started talking to her I'm after he took photos with everybody and she was very shocked. What in stars' name would he do- anyway, then she... Then...she... Then...

She struggled to remember what happened after that but it was blurry. She could only remember... Kai. It was like he was the main component in every limited memory. How strange.

Cinder rubbed her eyes. The grogginess was causing her memory to falter, so it was simply the morning.

Something rustled beside her and she opened her eyes wide. Someone was in her bed. Shit

She immediately got out of her bed and realized it wasn't hers. She was in someone else’s room. Shit.

Cinder dug her hands in her hair and spotted her shirt laying on the floor. She gasped, finally noticing she was without a shirt, and connected the dots.

Ok, she had memories of last night and felt terrible in the morning. She had been drunk, most likely and Iko left when she started to feel tipsy. She talked to Kai a lot, and couldn’t seem to remember anyone else. And she had a one-night stand with someone too.

So that meant the person Cinder spent the night with was...

“Do you remember anything from last night?” Cinder gasped and turned on her heels. Prince Kai, Kaito Prince, Kai, whatever he went by was staring at her with incredibly pretty copper eyes... Shirtless. No. Fucking. Way. Cinder refused to believe it, she was dreaming, she must be dreaming, “Cinder?”

She suddenly remembered that she wore only a bra and sweat pants at that moment and lunged for her shirt. She spoke as she hauled it on, “All I remember is talking to you in the VIP Lounge,” she stood up, “I’m clueless after that.”

“Oh, I can’t remember a thing either. It’s fuzzy, like static,” Stars, he was handsome. Stars, she shouldn't be thinking this. But they had spent the night together so it was alright. Stars Above, what was wrong with her?!

Cinder turned around, “I-I need to go. Now,” she found her items that were surprisingly neatly packed on the chair near the window. She looked again to see if she was missing anything, then looked at Kai. He seemed very tired and hungover, and very confused, “Um, thank you for the hospitality? See you around?”

Kai nodded at her questionably and right before she left the room he called, “Wait!”

“What?” Cinder said, a little annoyed.

“I just wanted to say I'm sorry for this,” he searched for the right word, “rather uncomfortable situation.”

He nodded again, “It was great meeting you.” Cinder was surprised he remembered her name, “Goodbye.”

Cinder left the room and took her phone out. Maybe she could order an Uber or something. But she could barely focus because her head was still trying to unravel the mystery of last night and she had this strange feeling that this was not the last time she was going to see Kai. That was stupid; Kai was a pop star and Cinder was a simple mechanic. And she was back in square one. What she needed to do was to forget this ever happened and go back to her life without... Whatever this is. Lives don't change because of a one-night stand so her’s won't either. She will be fine and she’ll never, ever remember this.

This my first post ever, but I just had a tooth removed so here is, my favorite male danganronpa characters and how I think they would react to having their S/O tooth removed. (Also I use she/her pronouns. Sorry boys!)

Nagito Komeada

Nagito is a caring guy and I think he would be the guy to go with you when you go to get it removed

He is constantly asking if you feel any pain even though the dentist are already asking that.

He just wants to make sure his hope is not in pain 🥰

After the tooth is removed and you leave your body feels really light, and you can’t feel your face

You also can’t eat for a while and you’ll talk really funny

You feel really embarrassed cause you think you look like an idiot. You also feel ugly cause that one tooth missing

Nagito being the sweetheart as he is will reassure you that your aren’t ugly

“My hope your still very beautiful, I think you look more beautiful everyday. I can’t wait to see how beautiful your hopeful smile will look like when your tooth grows back.”

It makes you feel a bit better

When you get home and your able to eat again he Cook’s your favorite meal

You and him even cuddle up and watch your favorite show/movie to get your mind of your missing tooth and numb face.

He’ll also bring some ice when the soreness comes to your mouth. Along with a pain numbing medicine.

“Nagito…do you still really think I’m still okay looking like this?” You ask

“My hope I would never lie to you! So when I say I think your beautiful, I think your beautiful! Don’t let anybody else tell you otherwise.” He responded

“Thank you Nagito, I love you!” You tell him cuddling up closer

“Your welcome, I love you too.” He said kissing the top your head and wrapping his arms around you tighter

Uggh I just…Love him so much 😫😍

Kokichi oma

Don’t even try to deny it! This boy would be a nightmare at the dentist. So you go by yourself since you already knew this.

When you come back from the dentist. Kokichi was in the room just glaring at you. Apparently when you told shuichi (cause he asked where you were going.) he told Kokichi when he asked him where you were.

“S/O your supposed to tell your supreme leader everything! I need to know where my queen is! WAAAAHHH!! S/O YOUR SO MEAN!! Don’t you love me!?!”

You knew this was all an act, you knew the tears were also fake

“Kichi, babe, can we not do this right now. I can’t feel my face and I can feel the soreness of where my tooth is missing coming on.”

He instantly stopped and came to you and started poking your face! And smirking

“So you can’t feel this! Or this! Or this!”

Yes you couldn’t feel it, but you were still pretty annoyed by it!

“Where is your tooth missing? Come on show me!”

You showed him since you knew he would bother you all day if you didn’t. And you didn’t want a headache with this terrible soreness is your gums and numbness in your face.

“Wow that’s pretty ugly! I suggest you don’t smile with your teeth for a while nishishishi!”

Even though you knew it was a joke. It still kinda a hurt your feeling and made you a little mad. You started to tear up

his shot open when he heard a quiet sniffle coming from you. He didn’t expect you to start crying since it was just a joke.

But before he started to apologize. You grabbed a pillow and threw at his face and yell “Your a real jerk! You know that!” Then running of to your room. Locking the door behind you

He came to your door and knocking on it nonstop

“S/O come on it was just a joke!”

“As your supreme leader I order you to open this door!”

“S/O come on, we can cuddle if you want!”

“We can play whatever game you want if you open this door.”

You remained silent on your side

Kokichi absolutely hated being ignored. He hates that his lover is ignoring him.

Even though he rather jump off a cliff then admit it!

He actually likes it when you give him attention! He loves when you give him affection like kisses or cuddles, or simply saying “I love you”

But he was stubborn he wasn’t going to cave that easily

“You know what fine! Ignore me all you want!” He said walking off

Everybody seemed to notice the mood Kokichi was in.

Shuichi already though it Might have to do with you and the dentist appointment you had

He came and asked you and you told him what Kokichi had said and why you were ignoring him.

Kirumi, heard about your dentist appointment and came to bring you things to help with the soreness in your mouth. Sine you know…she’s the ultimate maid and all.

Kokichi wasn’t going to beg for you to pay attention to him, he wasn’t that easy to break.

…30 minutes later

There he was at your door begging for you to let him in

You weren’t letting him in until he apologized

“S/O, my queen, let me in please!”

Still nothing.

He checked to see if anybody was coming and then took a deep breath

“S/O I’m really sorry for what I said. Your still my gorgeous queen. Please…let me in…”

You were surprised by how genuine it’s sounded

You open it just a little so you could see him and you were shocked by what you saw

He was looking at you with tears in his eyes. Genuine tears!

“I really am sorry. Please. Let me in.”

You couldn’t refuse

He instantly lighten up when he saw you completely open you door.

“Nishishishi! I knew you couldn’t ignore me for long! After all, who could resist their handsome supreme leader!”

“Yeah yeah…do you wanna cuddle?”

“Yes. Later let’s play a prank on kaito or keebo!”

“Instead how about we nap.”

“Fine…that’s sound so boring though”

“I could take one by myself-“

“No! We are taking a nap together!”

No matter how annoying he gets! You couldn’t resist your cute purple boyfriend

He annoying…but he so adorable 😍

Makoto Naegi

This cute cinnamon roll has no idea what to do

He their during the removal and makes sure that nothing goes wrong

The dentist tells him what you can and cannot do for a certain amount of time.

You don’t like how you can’t feel your face and you think that tooth missing makes you ugly.

“S/O please don’t worry about that tooth missing. It’ll grow back. Also your not ugly your still as pretty as ever.”

He gives you a wet paper towel to bite down on. To numb the soreness (like how your author is doing right now) he also gives you pain reduce medicine.

He lays on your chest as you play with his hair. You like playing with it considering how soft it is and you just love his little ahoge! Kawaii!

“Do you need anything else S/O? Just say the word.”

“No, all I need right now it my cute boyfriend!”

“Wha?! C-cute! I’m no- that- um...”

He shoved his face into your chest to hid his embarrassment

“Thank you though naegi. I love you”

“Of course, I love you too!”

“I love you more!”

“No…I love you more!”

You both giggled the night away

Aaaahhh!! He just so cuuuuutttteee! ❤️❤️

Hajime Hinata

Hajime is a little bit…what the word…complicated…in certain…situations…

Just like the one he’s in

He there so your less scared but he just mostly watches. He honestly just feels kinda awkward

After you leave, he gets you an ice pack for the soreness in your gums later on, and of course pain reducing medicine

You kept touching your face cause of the numbness in your face, you were a little bit fascinated by the feeling. Hajime noticed

“Why do you keep touching your face?”

“Half of my face is numb I’m kinda interested in the feeling.”

He awkwardly laughed. He thought it was kinda weird but also found it cute.

“Hajime can we cuddle please!”

Hajime wasn’t the best at relationships, you guys have been dating for about a 2-3 months and he was still getting used to cuddling.

You noticed the nervousness in his face

“We don’t have to…I’m sorr-“

“No! No. we can cuddle.”

“Are you sure? You look a little nervous.”

“I know. I’m still getting used to this whole ‘relationship’ thing”

You giggled and snuggled up with him and just talked about different subjects until the soreness in your gums came along. Then you two sat in comfortable silence.

You were starting to get a bit sleepy

“Hey Hajime. I know your still new to this whole thing with us. I just want you to know I really do love you. Thank you for being here with me today

“I…I really love you too. It’s just I’m so afraid of screwing this up. I don’t want to lose you. And your welcome, I’d be happy this anytime.”

He kissed you on top of the head and both of you feel into a deep slumber.

You and Hajime, might have some weird moments but your both trying your best.

I really hope that was not trashy and I hope I got his character right.

I don’t know much about selective mutism. I have hopefully done enough research to be able to portray selective mutism at least somewhat accurately. However I have never had a real life experience with someone who is selectively mute, and google sometimes isn’t the most accurate resource. You had known each other for a while, But You had never been all that close to him until you started dating

But he had known you enough to know that you were mute

He didn’t mind at all though

He wasn’t really much of a talker himself and he thought that you didn’t need to speak for your inner beauty to shine

When you did start dating he did everything he could to make you feel comfortable

He wanted you to know that he wasn’t expecting you to talk if you weren’t comfortable, and that he didn’t mind at all that you didn’t

You really appreciated that.

After you two had been dating for a bit, you finally felt comfortable enough to start talking

You were going to his house for breakfast

You rang the door bell and he opened it very enthusiastically

It was just this aura about him

Once you two started getting to know each other, you realized that you liked him for other reasons

He was kind, understanding, funny, and he supported you no matter what

You two eventually started dating

He was the “mom boyfriend” TM

He was always looking out for you

“You need something S/O? is this place too loud? is your anxiety too bad right now?”

He was just so use to taking care of his siblings all the time, he wanted to take care of his boyfriend too

So when you caught a cold he took the opportunity to baby you as much as he could

He brought you soup and medicine and cuddled with you on the couch until you felt better

Of course he just ended up sick himself

Ryoma tried to stay away from you

One day you two were enjoying A cozy rainy day

You were cuddled up in blankets and playing board games

He had just brought you guys some warm coffee/tea/hot chocolate

As you were sipping on your drink he sat down next to you and laid his head on your shoulder

You looked down at you uncharacteristically calm boyfriend, feeling his warmth radiating off of him

You felt so safe and cozy

“Shuichi?”

His eyes widened as he bolted upright

“S/O?”

It was clear that he was shocked but he tried to appear as calm as possible

You gave him a warm smile

“I love you Shuichi”

A wide smile grew across his face as he layed back down on your shoulder, nuzzling close to you

“I love you S/O”

Kokichi ouma

Ok so kokichi is a bit of a little stinky boy

He loves you a lot, but He’s alway extremely desperate to hear you talk

He was mostly joking around, if he were to actually offend you he would probably apologize profusely and then proceed to go cry in the bathroom until 3:00 am

You mostly Ignore his childish begging

You know that he’s just playing around so you just let him do his thing

One night you two were hanging out at his house

I new movie had just been released to Netflix and kokichi just HAD to watch it with you

You agreed of course

He was being his usual self

“S/o You can have some of my popcorn if you ask nicely!”

*INTENSE GLARING*

“S/o I’m sorry to say but flipping the middle finger and proceeding to shove a handful of popcorn in your mouth isn’t very gentlemanly of you”

You two continue to joke around for most of the movie

Later into the night you had noticed he was starting to drift off

He was laying on your shoulder, half asleep

He looked so peaceful, you could really see the sweet little boy that his behind his trickster persona

As his eyes closed you muttered softly to him, assuming he couldn’t hear you

“Goodnight kokichi”

His eyelashes flutters as he mumbled back a tired and slurred “yesssss”

You giggled

Your sweet little purple boy

Like kokichi, he also really wants to hear you speak

he is a lot more subtle and respectful about it

at least he tries to be

he will give you little comments here and there

“S/O i bet your voice is as hot as you are” or “i bet you would be a good singer, you have that kind of personality”

you know that he means well

you usually just laugh him off

he is really sweet though

one day he decided to take you on a date

you went to a planetarium of course

it was the perfect date

you loved seeing how his face lit up around anything space

HE IS SO CUTE THIS LITTLE SPACE MAN!!!

he was just like a little kid!“s-so S/O what did you think?”

you were about to just nod and smile like usual but then you looked up at him and just melted

“p-perfect”

he was shocked

his eyes somehow became larger than they already where

what are ur thoughts on eriol . he is so complex in a way i cant explain and i wish they dove more into him in the showwww :'] also if what ur saying about clear card where hes called a softie is true then HUH .. like dont get me wrong i love him but like HES LITERALLY INSANE !!!

man what ARENT my thoughts on eriol. search clow or eriol or clowriol on my blog and go wild, i guess. i will try to say points off the top of my head? but also im sure theres a trillion more thoughts archived throughout blog.

-ymmv on this but i dont think of him as a child like at all, bc of the way he kind of flings off his childish persona at the end (and, throughout the origibal series, whenever he's alone etc) like the disguise it was, the way he's been physically alive for, you could make an argument for based on if you think fujitaka spawned as a baby or not, 30-40ish years, etc. hes a short adult who pretends to be young sometimes.

-the fact that mizuki specifically is dating him is still extremely gross bc it gives her a Pattern, tho. but also there is no way he is treating her well imo, so i can think of it as like, haha sleep on the chair forever while he acts all baby in the huge bed. she is in a hell of her own making, is how i think of it, and especially in clear card when they are alone in the house and kaito shut off their wifi. but also thats my watsonian thoughts, doylism would say CLAMP YOU GROSS AWFUL PROPAGANDISTS STFU-

-latest chapter aside lol, i think eriol and clow are basically the same guy- i discuss them a lot as "clowriol", as one entity. I think it's debatable if theyre LITERALLY using The Same Soul (i don't think eriol himself knows, and i think this is a little bit scary to him, keeps himself up at night sometimes wondering, if and when he dies, if he will see clow on the other side or if it's Just him and fujitaka. his own memories would be seamless. how do you know if youre a perfect copy or an original?)- but in his thoughts, memories, attitudes, etc, it's all clow. In fact, eriol had all clow's power, there's no reason he couldntve just said "hang on a sec im going babymode" and immediately kept sustaining kero, yue, and the cards himself for a while till sakura got born! but:

-he didn't want to, because i think he became eriol to become a blank slate and be able to say "thats not me youre looking for". the responsibility became overwhelming to him, i think, looking at these people he created to be eternal, and that he influenced to *need someone* eternally, and went oh no, this is going to be forever. and that scared him really bad, i think. scared him, literally, to death.

-fujitaka is an important part of them to me. i basically analyze the three of them as one entity, highlighting different traits. in fujitaka, we see that in the absense of magic power, he will gravitate towards social power. he (collectively) wants to be a Teacher so so so bad, and he wants to love people that he has power over. I like to analyze fujitaka and nadeshiko's relationship (which as we know is very very very very bad) as fujitaka's need for power-over-others manifesting in a situation where he didn't have magic to let him literally Make Friends.

-eriols fave part of being baby is ppl complimenting how hes ~soooooooo good at things!!!!!~ buddy you are 42 of course you make a better cupcake decoration than a 11 year old.

-i think clear card's softie comment is very funny to me bc it implies clow was just NONSTOP pranks on randos and if they die well too bad. eriol's mellowed out in his old age. he cares more for human life. he mostly sticks to tormenting his cat's digestive system. 🎶 maybe driving a few kids to madness, maybe they were predisposed to madness who knows, 🎶 etc etc .

-i think between original and clear card he made himself very available as a friend to syaoran, and tossed in a lot of "oh dont tell anyone but-"s while making it clear you can Always talk to me, anout Anything :)! and slowly constructed a situation that isolated syaoran enough for [clear card spoilers] to take shape and for him to feel he couldnt tell sakura about it.

-i think he became a college professor like the instant he got back to england lmaooo

Mediocre Coffee

Happy Holidays to @moonshadowstar I was your @dcmksecretsanta! I apologize for this coming so late, but I hope you enjoy my first attempt at a coffee shop au!!

He was the most beautiful person Shinichi had ever seen. Ok, maybe that was a bit dramatic, but the sentiment remained.

Shinichi had been to this particular coffee shop a few times, nothing particularly notable about it, until a few weeks ago. A new barista, his nametag read “Kaito” with a little smiley face next to it. Not only did he make the best latte art Shinichi had ever seen, but his smile could light up the whole room. His presence had turned the fairly run down, mediocre store into Shinichi’s favorite place. It was embarrassing to say, but it was love at first sight.

So Shinichi had been frequenting the store on a near daily basis. He had dragged Ran along a couple times, and she had made fun of him mercilessly the entire time. She couldn’t believe that the workaholic, anti-social Shinichi had fallen head over heels for a man he barely knew. At least she granted him the kindness of withholding her laughter in front of Kaito. At least she promised not to tell Sonoko. Sonoko would absolutely tear him apart. Even more embarrassing was that Kaito now knew his name, and his order, and when he would be in the store. The first time he walked in to his order sitting ready on the counter Shinichi nearly had a heart attack and died right there on the cheap linoleum floor.

He was late today. It was unfortunate, but he had been called on to a case that had taken longer than Shinichi had liked. He opened the coffee shop’s door with a tired sigh. A quick glance around the store proved that Shinichi was the only customer there. Kaito was at the counter and he looked up when he heard the bells attached to the door jingle. “Shinichi! I didn’t think you’d show up today.” There it was, that brilliant smile. It made Shinichi’s heart do terrible little loop-de-loops.

“Work took a little longer than expected,” Shinichi said, trying to give the barista a smile that wouldn’t betray how tired he was. “Now I get to reward myself.”

“I can’t imagine what your schedule is like. The usual then?” Kaito held up a paper to-go cup with Shinichi’s name on it.

“Was that for me? Sorry you went through all that trouble.” Shinichi slid into one of the stools at the counter, the ache of being on his feet all day finally catching up to him.

“No trouble at all,” Kaito set the cup down and set to work starting Shinichi’s order, “I got a good cup of coffee out of it, although it was a little cold.” Shinichi leaned against the counter, eyes glued to the way Kaito’s hands fluidly worked. “ It’s funny, I make it all the time, but I never realised how sweet you like your coffee.” Kaito laughed, which was unfair. Shinichi could feel his face start to flush. “You seem like a black coffee kind of guy.”

“I get that a lot, but believe it or not I’m not a huge fan of bitter things.” Which was true. The first time he got coffee with Hattori he looked at Shinichi like he had been possessed. Just because he wasn’t one for eating desserts didn’t mean he didn’t like sweet things. Unfortunately it became something Hattori would constantly tease him about. The man was merciless with his teasing, Shinichi shuddered to think what would happen if he knew about Shinichi’s crush.

“I can believe it,” Kaito gave Shinichi another heavenly laugh, “the amount of sugar in this thing could keep someone bouncing off of the walls for a solid week.” Kaito put a lid on the cup and passed it over to Shinichi, who handed him the exact change in return.

“What can I say?” Shinichi smirked, “I am a man of refined taste.”

“Or a man with some severe insomnia.”

“Mmm, both.” Another unfortunately true fact about Shinichi’s life, but it made Kaito laugh so it was worth it.

“Then I might just have to cut you off, Shinichi. I don’t want to be held responsible when you drop dead from exhaustion.”

“You aren’t the only coffee shop in Tokyo, you know, I can always find another dealer.”

“You could, but you won’t.” Kaito gave Shinichi a smirk. Oh God, does he know?

“What makes you so sure?” Kaito leaned across the counter, bringing his face dangerously close to Shinichi’s.

“How red you are right now.”

“T-that’s just my complexion,” Shinichi managed to stammer out. “It’s cold today so it makes it worse.”

“Oh, is that so?” Kaito’s tone proved he didn’t believe him, and if Shinichi had the ability to think, he might have noticed that Kaito was clearly flirting with him. But he was absolutely short-circuiting so all he could do was remain oblivious.

“Yes. I get it from my mother.”

“How fascinating.” Kaito pulled away, clearly amused by how dense Shinichi was being.

“I mean, what else could it be?” Shinichi gave a nervous laugh, and tried his best to avoid Kaito’s intense gaze, because that would make him blush even harder.

“I don’t know, maybe you can take me on a date and we can figure it out.”

“I could- we could- I- uhh,” Shinichi sputtered. His eyes went wide and he stared dumbfounded at Kaito, mouth agape. “Date?”

“Hmm?” Kaito hummed innocently, doing his best to look as if he hadn’t said anything, but he was clearly trying to hold back laughter.

“Kaito, would you like to go on a date with me?” Shinichi said, nervous despite Kaito’s clear indications he was interested.

“Shinichi I would love too.”

“Oh,” Shinichi said quietly and took a sip of his coffee. It burned his mouth, but he needed the distraction. “So… you wanna go get coffee sometime?”

“Did you really just ask me that?” Kaito said, gesturing to the equipment around him.

“Oh yeah… Dinner then?”

“That sounds wonderful.” Kaito gave him another thousand-watt smile. Yeah, Shinichi was screwed.

thanks so much for responding to my ask about Ryo x Minoru!! the stuff you wrote was so cute, especially the “this could be us”picture (I 100% could see Minoru sending that) also the idea you had of them kissing because they thought they were gonna die…your mind omg. I could also see them doing one of those “thank god we’re alive” kisses where they thought they were gonna die but when they live they’re so happy and that the other person is happy that they just. smooch lol

also I did see that other post you made about them and I loved it! but it’s funny that you see everyone being shocked when they say they’re together because I hc that they’d both be super obvious even when they try to hide that they like each other (esp Minoru, the word subtle isn’t in that boy’s dictionary). if either of them confided in Kaito for whatever reason, I can 100% picture him saying in the most deadpan voice, “congrats, you’re officially the last one to know.” I think it would specifically be obvious because they’d talk about each other all the time, even if it was about things that “annoyed” them and then trying too hard to play it cool by immediately following up with “not that I care about him or anything!!!1!” or something like that.

I just think they’re neat and I’m honestly surprised that there aren’t more people who ship them. like they spend a good amount of time together, they both have come running when the other one is distressed, and I also noticed that falcomon is the only kemonogami who can understand kunemon, and since the kemonogami represent their partner’s hearts, I feel like it shows that they both understand each other. also if Minoru gets captured by dokugumon in chapter 1, ryo will complain about Minoru being a pain, which makes Minoru mad, but falcomon reassures him that Ryo’s just making such a fuss because he was worried about Minoru (which Ryo denies and gets embarrassed over ofc).

on a less serious note, I feel like they would be kinda like those two old guys from the muppets once they start dating where they bond over roasting other people/each other. I also get reminded of them when I see that one post where it’s like “I had a crush on someone in my class and didn’t know how to deal with it so I just wrote a letter that said ‘get out of my school.’” like they both are soft™️ on the inside but have such a hard time expressing it.

sorry i totally rambled about them but it’s just nice to see someone else who ships this rare pair!! i wish more people enjoyed it/wrote about it! I literally made one of those dumb comic sans powerpoints about them one day because I was bored and because digimon survive hyperfixation™️ and because i freakin love them. so thanks so much, i really appreciate it!! 💕

"Lookit, lookit! It's your other brethren, Shuichi! Haha~!!" Kaito is as excited as ever as he points to one of the nearby tanks, the thick glass nearly reaching the ceiling. He's taken the birthday boy to an aquarium! Kaito oohs and aahs as he watches a koi and a goldfish swimming around together before being distracted by some octopus, the astronaut practically having his face pressed against the glass as he tries to get an even closer look!

"I can't believe there's so much of the ocean that we haven't discovered yet. Isn't that wild?! There's so many amazing, little guys like these that we haven't even seen before!" It's when he turns to look back at the detective that he gives a loud gasp when he notices something a little ways away, grabbing Shuichi's hand and excitedly rushing over to the tide pool area! The enclosure is much smaller than the rest of the exhibits and there are no glass barriers, letting guests reach in and lightly pet those that are inside!

"They have sea stars in here! Oh! Haha, Taka's come to wish you a happy birthday too! Here, I'll get a picture with the three of us together~!" Kaito then positions himself so he's right next to Shuichi, making sure the sea urchin behind them is in full view before reaching for his phone and taking the picture! However, when he's done he puts his phone away but then pulls Shuichi closer, bringing him into a tight embrace as his voice softens.

"I know an aquarium probably wasn't the first place you would think of for a birthday celebration, but I'm glad I can spend some time with you on your special day. Happy birthday, my shining star."

"Ohhh, very funny, you. Hahaha." He laughs with him, Shuichi looking just as excited as he stares at that tank with him! Kaito taking him out on a date to the aquarium, was a very delightful surprise. Seeing Kaito look so excited couldn't help but make him giggle, finding it so adorable. And as he watches the many types of aquatic life swim about, he was having just as much fun, too.

At Kaito's question, he nods his head. "Right...? The ocean is so vast... there are probably still hundreds, if not thousands, of sea animals that have yet to be discovered. I know exploring the deeper depths is very difficult, but I'm sure that in the future, we'll be able to enjoy more and more different kinds of fish we never knew existed!" Then when Kaito turns around and makes that gasp, he tilts his head, about to ask him what he saw before giving a small noise of surprise when Kaito grabs his hand and starts rushing to the direction of the tide pool area! "Oh-!!"

Then when he also peers inside and sees the sea stars and sea urchins, he can see why he rushed over here, emitting a gasp of awe as his eyes follow them. "Yeah...! I wonder how they'd feel if you touched them... ah, hehehe, you're right! What are you doing here, Taka? Oh, yes-!" He quickly leans in and gets into position for the photo, giving a bright smile as he does a small wave. At the embrace, he emits a soft gasp, as he quietly listens.

"Kaito..." A light red dusts his cheeks, and his heart flutters at his words. Immediately, he hugs him back, just as tightly. "Silly..." He hums, one hand going to slowly rub his back. "That's exactly why I loved today so much. It was a wonderful surprise, to have been brought here. I don't come to aquariums that often, so I was so excited to see all the different sea animals, today! Even seeing some I never have, before... and of course, you being with me, made today all the more fun and special. I'm so happy I could celebrate and spend time today with you, too. Thank you, Kaito: I love you so much. This is why you'll always be my light. You made me feel so loved and special, like you always do."

Leaning up, he plants a soft kiss to his lips. The gaze he looks at him with, the smile he gives; both were filled with the kind of love, happiness, and warmth that only Kaito could ever receive. Truly, this was one of the best birthdays he's had. But Kaito was always able to help make it be. Today, truly will be an unforgettable day for him. "Now..." He leans far back enough in the hug, so that he can cup both of Kaito's hands in his own. And giving them a small, playful swing, he adds: "Let's continue enjoying today to the very fullest, shall we?"
