I recently started watching Dungeon Meshi and somehow came up with this crossover and I just had to draw it haha

I should be allowed to just say “I adore you” and “I love you” and “I want to keep you in my life for as long as possible” to my friends whenever I want without it being overbearing. I’m thinking it lovingly at people. I’m beaming my overwhelming affection into my friends via undetectable radio waves

One criticism I've seen of Friends is that like Ross is a horrible person

And I think what people who have only heard about the show or only seen a couple of episodes don't realize is that absolutely none of his behavior is normalized or treated like it's okay

Other than the horrible fact of him getting with Rachel at the end, he really does not get away with any of the crap he does

A lot of really bad things happen to him all the time and the other friends all call him out when he's being a dick

I'm pretty sure hating him and then watching horrible stuff happen to him is the whole humor surrounding his character. Like he's supposed to piss you off so you laugh when he gets stranded in the middle of nowhere with no gas or loses thousands of dollars on a couch he can't bring into his apartment or gets beat up y'know

Like bad things happen to all the characters because it's a sitcom and that's what happens in sitcoms, but more and worse things happen to Ross and I think it's because he's supposed to be everyone's least favorite friend.

#i still never fully recovered from the time someone told me i shouldn't watch sitcoms because they all normalize bad behavior #and the characters are dicks #and i remember just feeling so offended at the assumption that i somehow didn't know that they were bad people #or that i would actually think something that 90's white boy said is actually okay just because i saw it in a tv show #like baby i know they're all horrible people doing horrible things but have you considered...it's really fuckin funny

See I used to think I only did really well at ecology classes bc they were easy

But then I talked to other people in bio who hate ecology because it's too hard

And I realized

I do bad in molecular and cell bio bc I'm bored out of my mind and zone out every two seconds while trying to study so I never learn anything

I do well in ecology bc I think it's so interesting I'll immediately call a friend or my mom after class and explain literally everything I just learned to them bc I think it's cool and thus inadvertently study ksnskdn

It's kinda like how I said Latin was super easy and everyone thought I was batshit crazy and then I realized "oh it's not easy I just spend an absurd amount of time on it"

I'd be like trying to translate spells in shows and constellations in genshin

I would try to read myths I was already familiar with in Latin bc I think being able read another language is super exciting
