togakure is really one of the funniest possible ships that exist but also strangly works because like. going off canon interactions alone it doesn't feel like they outright hate each other. to some degree they even care for each other. but if you look at their characters it's insane because it looks like byakuya (ultra rich elitist asshole) has looked at all his options and decided on hiro, the fortune-teller that a lot of people write off as being a hack/swindler and is also so so scared all the time forever (he is wanted by the yakuza)

Definitely don’t want to be that person who thinks that all shippings need to go down the having kids route ESPECIALLY when it is clear that a. Those characters would probably not want to have kids and/or b. Kids doesn’t equal a happy/healthy relationship

Like with most people Byakuya is forced to interact with, he viewed Hiro as beneath him and unworthy of his time. Hiro, on the other hand, still tried acting casual and chill around Byakuya despite them being world's apart in every way.

Their shared experiences as Hope's Peak students in the same class is what brings them closer. Hiro tries to bring Byakuya out of his shell, and as more time goes by, Byakuya grudgingly goes along with Hiro's requests.

Hiro's overly carefree ways provides Byakuya with much needed relief and relaxation from his usual strict business man life.

Byakuya keeps Hiro more grounded and gets him to take things more seriously.

When Hiro panics and tries to flee from his problems, Byakuya gives him the "tough love" treatment, which is his way of motivating Hiro to be strong and not allow him to despair.

When Hiro is especially desperate to pay off his hefty amount of debt, he begs Byakuya to help him out (being as rich and influential as Byakuya is) but Byakuya refuses. Instead, he gives Hiro the usual tough love treatment, telling him that he got himself into the situation and to deal with those dilemmas himself. Most he can do is offer financial and overall debt advice, much to Hiro's annoyance.

Even before being an actual couple, they already bicker like an old married couple.

"You're an idiot."

"Hahah, I love you too, Togams!"

Because of their completely contrast personalities and lifestyles, they could get into quite a few disagreements, and when they do, Byakuya can often be too harsh. But like most relationships, they work through these hiccups together, and Byakuya actually enjoys the occasional challenge.

Their way of expressing their affection for each other is different, just like their personalities and abilities. Hiro likes to use physical affection and giving nicknames. Byakuya expresses his with subtle but practical gestures such as acts of protection, providing Hiro with what he needs, and even his tough love method.
