not to sound like an old biddy but handing kids ipads and phones from the minute they're born does such a disservice to them.

#ive been working in schools for over a decade now #and i can say that the current batch of year 7s are unequivocally the worst behaved i've seen #they've never had to be bored in their lives because someone always gave them a screen #and it fucking shows #also i think they're all so used to being able to voice their every thought and opinion online #that they have no idea how to keep quiet while other people are speaking #i genuinely love working in schools #and ive had some great interactions with the year 7s in smaller groups #they are lovely kids #but my god in a classroom setting they're the fucking worst #i just think that being bored is hugely important for kids development #anyway #thats my old man yells at cloud moment for today #about me

Finally, it is complete!

Oh. My. God. This took way too long to complete, but finally Noelle’s character sheet is complete!… at least for now 😅 the first half I completed very fast and I had all of these amazing ideas and it turned out amazing, just how I imagined it… but then came the second half, and I had all these things I wanted to share about her character, but then I started loosing steam and hit a huge art block. It took two weeks more then I had initially intended because I had little motivation or inspiration to add on to it, but slowly and surely I finished it.

I understand that this is a bit different from my other “gameplay related” comics, but i thought it would be fun to share who my MC is, and to give a more clearer look on her personality and background for anyone who is curious or wants to perhaps draw Noelle with there Mc (which btw I would absolutely LOVE ❤️ if you ever want to, plz do, just tag me ❤️❤️)

There’s so much more about her character and background that I still want to share, however there’s a it too much to fit in a scrapbook page so perhaps in the future I will find the time to type it out and share it, or even slowly reveal it in some short stories I’m thinking about (perhaps start ao3 and what not, idk just a thought 😏) but for now this is what I shall reveal for now. Also plz ignore if some of her history doesn’t make complete sense, I’m still working on it…

#genuinely i didnt do this on purpose i was just very tired when i went to draw yesterday and did pose practice instead of new comic #but then i see franz kafka trending this morning and i remembered this hellsite has the most arbitrary holidays i love it #dr draws #danganronpa #dr #ndrv3 #drv3 #kokichi ouma #ouma kokichi #kokichi oma #oma kokichi #glittersart #TAPP AU #if you want it doesnt have to be #but i am working on an ask about how everyone is holding up post-sim #mostly in writing if thats alright bc im not positive yet how to draw out the story i want to tell #and therein is a small headcanon that kokichi kinda. for several reasons has a bit more intense a time than most of his classmates #and sometimes he Needs to sleep at arbitrary times during the school day. if he wont do it voluntarily he'll just kinda faint-#- which is especially frustrating for him because the lack of control and his inherent distrust of most people fuel his paranoia-#- and over time he designates a couple of Probably Secure places around campus that he can sleep if his dorm is too far.#ive started setting it up (itll take a lot of drawing to explain it all) but one of them is the animal shed #i do want to try actively to write about Students Who Aren't Kokichi but this all did start bc im kinda fixated atm #actually i think kokichi has been in all of the comics so far. like at least appeared #which will probably continue to be true as kokichis brand of pranking #('i put a kick-me sign on kaitos back and when saihara sees it theyll have an excuse to talk. all according to plan.')-caliber #is a nice device to crash characters into eachother like bumper cars

I think it's time I change my bio to say it's been 11 years since I started to watch Ninjago.....

I just know that it was april or may cause it was nearing the end of-#the school year #anyway this show feels like it's my best friend in all honesty. it's been with me for so long and at my loneliest #and to think that I've grown up alongside it. it's so weird #I have such a clear memory of like when just about anything happened for this show #s3 finale? I was sick but I still tuned into watch and CRIED #s5? I watched nearly every episode when it aired on cartoon network in my parents room cause my dad was using our other tv at that time #s8? watched it weekly in my grandparents basement and It Was A Ride #s11 finale? got to the episode at like. 6 am before I had to go to school and felt utterly disappointed there was no kai and zane fight #seabound? watched it weekly that one spring and IT WAS ALSO A RIDE #and that's not even touching the hours upon hours of fan works I've looked at #just. it's been such a long time. over a decade of my life that I've been attached to this show. and at the same time it feels like no-#time has passed at all #I actually first watched the show cause some classmates were talking about it and I wanted to be friends with someone so bad so I started-#to watch it and I Very Quickly surpassed their love of it #what a ride huh? now we're at a point where I can look this show and say it's genuinely good (THANK YOU DRAGONS RISING!!!!!!!!!!)#ok I'm done reminiscing. time to think about the newest scenarios in which to make kai suffer >:)#ninjago #phoenix prattles

Buck smeared the blood on Eddie’s chin, taking his thumb to his own mouth and sucking. “You look like sex.”

Eddie’s chest puffed up, feeling himself harden on his pants. Again. “We should fuck, then.”

It’s was an invitation, but it had a twinge of need. Buck pushed himself off the rusty counter, towering over his lover. At this time of night, the one flicking light on their basement was enough to keep him awake, although he hadn’t slept in days. “Are you asking or are you telling me?”

Eddie took a step, pulling the dagger out of his back pocket swiftly. Buck was talented, but he was skilled. He pressed it to Buck’s neck, prompting a smirk out of him. “I don’t believe I ask much of anything these days, I just say what I want and I get it.”

“And what is it, then?” he teased, kicking Eddie’s ankle with the heel of his right foot, so he’d fall a few centimeters shorter. “What is it you want?”

For the first time in months, Eddie looked hesitant, his gaze faltering. After everything they had done, Buck couldn’t imagine nor fathom a thing he’d be embarrassed to request.

“I want you to fuck me with your gun.”

Buck’s eyes glimmered.

jack would be a stem kid because he loves doing experiments the scientific method is his best friend he loves being hands on and getting to be like I was wrong but the right answer is way cooler than I thought it would be and he loves the connections between art and science, like the way chemical reactions are responsible for why pottery glaze looks so cool and how talented at art you have to be to be good at any kind of diagramming or bio illustration

and davey would be a stem kid because people are more impressed by good grades in science and math classes than english classes so he works harder at them even though he really loves language more than numbers and when he ends up in a class with jack who seems to be goofing off all the time he's annoyed by how little work he seems to put in until he realizes actually jack is really smart but completely unaware of it because he thinks he's goofing off when he's actually running pretty well-designed experiments for fun (unsanctioned by the instructor) in between steps of the lab.

#can't decide if this is funnier in high school or college #i think college bc i think. jack is an art major chem minor and everyone is like why would u do that and he's like I like mixing things up #and davey is a biochem major whos like this guy is a nightmare the first class they share #and then is his assigned lab partner the next semester and is like good grief this is going to be miserable #until they do their first lab and jack is Really good at it. he's chattering away abt his sculpture class and how hard it is #while achieving results with Way less deviation from the perfect result than anyone else bc he's genuinely obsessed with chemistry and love #loves it so much.#anyway. i love this for them ive decided <3 #jack would be besties with the chem professor everyone else is soooo intimidated by #bc he has No fear of authority and he's so passionate abt chem #he's like hey. can i use the lab during your office hours to do experiments for fun. and the prof is like #uh. sure? and then spends an hour or so a week supervising jack having fun in the lab #but jack is also obsessed with the way numbers works so its always a very well designed and calculated experiment #he even does lab reports for his random experiments and is like look :) I made a new color. do you think I can use this as a pigment?

i've watched a lot of good films lately in an attempt to catch up with a bunch of movies that have come out recently, but talk to me was the best movie i've seen in a LONG time

#i put off watching it for so long because i was sure it was overrated + i'm generally not a fan of possession movies #(because so many of them try to be the exorcist and they will never be the exorcist. you know how it is)#but holy shit. genuinely a brilliant movie in every aspect of filmmaking + completely aligned with my personal taste #+ exactly what i look for thematically in possession and/or ghost movies #+ the absolute perfect balance between psychological and gory #and like i said SUCH a good cold opening #tbh i think it's a useful trick to know how to get your audience to buy into a supernatural premise from the very first scene #i think that takes some VERY effective + skillful writing and directing #and as someone who again typically does NOT like possession movies i usually end the movie NEVER buying into the story #not because i'm a 'skeptic' or whatever just because the writing doesn't do the work #but SCENE ONE of this movie i was so in it #anyway. movee of all time to me #also from the trailers etc i had thought that that fluffy yellow sweatshirt mia wears at the beginning of the movie was a bathrobe lmao #my first impression of what this movie was gonna be like was NOT correct #anyway 'recently' means in the past 2 years i guess?#actually maybe this post was a lie because i LOVED nope which was also just an absolute cinematic masterpiece #anytime i watch a jordan peele movie it's just like. this man is so far beyond any other filmmaker out there right now #it's almost unfair to watch lol like an olympic gold medalist running laps around a middle school track team #anyway ummm. yeah talk to me was good though

I'm on exam leave atm and it's soo telling that even tho I'm literally a week away from my first exam this is the best I've felt the whole school year. Like yeah I have a ton of revision to do but also I just made brownies yesterday. Like I just went "I wanna make brownies" and I did. I can just fuckin do that now. This is amazing.

this is gonna sound so backhanded but after 3 letdowns in a row from pokemon (followed by a game which isnt terrible but i dislike because of how much it fucked up the plot of sm), then a game that i genuinely really love and want more in the style of and largely because of how it deviates from the main series, im genuinely so shocked that i love scarlet and violet as much as i do. like when i was going through that tutorial i was just cautious and waiting for the other show to drop and be bored at best, but like, graphic glitches aside, it never came. it stayed really fun and charming

#like is it acceptable that it came out so glitchy when its a $60 console release? absolutely not #i think the game has a lot of issues and i dont blame people for not being happy with it #but i think what makes this better than swsh to me is like. swsh sorta feels like it was made out of obligation sometimes #like. tpci and gamefreak treated galar like a kid would treat an art project in a medium they werent interested in #but they were being harassed for that good grade so they powered through and hated the result #and sorta just tried to hide it when they got home from school that day #not that there isn’t anything to like about galar or it has no substance whatsoever but when i played it i couldnt shake the feeling #that gamefreak was embarassed of it. like they did not want to linger too much on this game #i think the anime switching format was a good idea in the end cause just putting ash in another gauntlet after he won the alola league would #would have been weird but its veryyyy telling to me that they changed the format so drastically #that we didnt even spend all our time in galar. their home base wasnt even in galar #and in the game they emphasize that kantos got better pokemon and everyone loves them better and theres not a whole lot to do #and there was always just this feeling of insecurity and dissatisfaction with it #and for all its faults- i cant say the same thing about scvi. this game oozes with charm and care #the writing feels like someone genuinely cared about these characters and wanted the best for them and the story #the gameplay feels more involved and confident. they got more experimental with the format #idk it feels like people LIKED working on this game to a degree and wanted the player to have fun #echoed voice
