Now I finally seem to be able to do things let me present to you the results of the 'vibe' polls :3

Earlier this week I jumped on the hype train for polls about which bandmember of JO + what character in the käärijä universe you felt I shared a vibe with.

Now I could have shared the results earlier but one thing to know about me is that I often get stupid ideas so I decided that whoever you chose that I shared a vibe with I'd cosplay

So after having searched my closet for things that somehow worked without further ado here's the Joker Out member you guys voted I shared vibe with:

I mean it was not even close x'D

This surprised me since I hadn't expected to be paired with the cat boy xD But thinking about it I can see why you guys would chose him - we share a sort of bubbly excitment for things and - at least online - I can come off as very energetic and silly x'D Also I am known to randomly meow at people x'D

However, personally I feel like Jure is way more extroverted than I am and so I am glad to see Nace being the second highest :'D I feel like we do indeed share a sense of calm/silent presence while still being able to join in on the fun - I think where I might divert from Nace is that I am definitely not good at being the mom friend :'D x'D

For Bojan in third I think we're back to the 'I see why you'd say that because I am quite energetic and excited online but also he is way more extroverted than I believe I am' argument :'D yet like I'll elaborate on below with the comments for the tags I can definitely see the points for why Bojan could fit :3

Jan and Kris being so far behind is ooooph x'D Well, I can kind of understand tho especially Kris :'D I am not sure I'd call myself a Kris either - he is way too cool and sassy compared to me x'D Jan might be too laid back idk?

Käärijä and Jaakko sharing second surprised me tho - especially Jaakko but that might be because I am not sure what his personality is tbh x'D so I am curious to hear if either of you voting Jaakko could tell me what makes me a Jaakko :'D? Day 2: Favourite Character

As I'm fully incapable of following instructions, I'll play around with the rules just a little bit.

I have a favourite human, a favourite angel, a favourite demon (those two are obviously excluding the Ineffables themselves). And then I'll cover Ineffability incarnated.

Favourite Human:

This was a complicated category!! Lots of fantastic competition in here: Newt (in the series) is adorable, Pepper has the best attitude EVER, Anathema combines both the smarts and the conflict of being a "professional descendant" (give me "conflicted free will characters" and watch me dance). However, the dearest to me would be:

Tracy is a sweetheart. She treats everyone with kindness, is doing her best to keep afloat, and not only tolerates Shadwell, but sincerely likes him, even when he is a sod and a prick. She has a scooter and two helmets that are colorful and a little bit ridiculous, works two jobs, is a wonderful vessel and has a cozy flat, full of little trinkets and plushies. Yeah, I find her endearing and I can project my own wildly weird aging process into her. She's also one of the members of the "three witches" mandated by law in every Neil Gaiman work 🤭

Favourite Angel:

Surprising no one with this one. We all fell in love with Muriel when their happy face appeared in the door of the bookshop. They are just lovely and full of potential, and we all want to make things with them in our fanfics because, let's face it, we missed having someone so fresh faced, curious and... well, angelic. They are a welcome contrast to the awfulness we knew from Heaven, and I am here for it.

Favourite Demon:

Miranda Richardson is stealing the show, absolutely. Shax is a loose cannonball, a brilliantly written character that goes from being friendly with Crowley and almost a figure to be tutored by him to becoming a menacing foe during the last two chapters of season 2. Her fashion sense helps, too. And that smile!!!

Do I have a favourite between Aziraphale and Crowley?

Oh, please. I identify a lot with Crowley, I've even cosplayed as him... But that doesn't mean I could call him "my favourite". I'm strongly in the side of "bonded pair, do not separate". They are "a two person act", and I strongly support the authors' vision of them being a single character who worked better if you split him in two. You cannot understand who Crowley is without the influence of Aziraphale, and you couldn't have an Aziraphale without him having a Crowley at his side. That's why the ending of season 2 is so devastating!!

In the personal side, I was raised to be an Aziraphale my whole life... but I was also too rebellious and strong-headed not to fall, ha. That's where my love for both of them comes from: I get Aziraphale, I can feel him ticking inside my head (the love of books and performing, being very good at thinking up to the point of becoming an anxious mess but trying to disguise it, knowing that there is a set of rules that you are supposed to be following but also learning that they don't always apply and trying to reconcile those worlds), but I identify a lot with the sensation of being fallen for dissenting, and becoming guarded and wary and sarcastic (and trying to be seen as much more dangerous and cool than you actually are).

Obviously I'm into Good Omens for these two. But it was too easy to just answer that, right? (that's it, that's my inner Aziraphale coming out).

favorite/least favorite forsaken?

Oh definitely Moghedien is my favourite, her cringefail ways have seduced me. Her backstory is wild, she starts out scary but then turns all of her attention to her one-sided homoerotic fixation on Nynaeve for some reason, she cosplays as a single mom. World heritage WoT post for me is that one where it’s like she’s a 3000 year old witch on a leash forced to teach teenagers science. The only thing missing is a chance for her to complete her Vegeta cycle by actually getting with Nynaeve. Unfortunately imo Nynaeve is the most heterosexual woman in the series and so Moggy will never be more than their pet prisoner of war.

I have to shout-out to my boy Be’lal too like he arguably had the best chance to just fucking kill Rand after ambushing him in the Stone instead he HAD to monologue about how good at Swords he is (while sword fighting! Babe we get it you like swords) like he’s not one of the most powerful magic users ever who could just …. magic him dead.

Least favourite is gonna be maybe controversial but I find Asmodean so boring I do not understand the fandom appeal. He’s a simpering opportunist who only tries to appeal to whoever is stronger than him at the moment (Lanfear vs Rand) and I don’t think he was genuinely interested in returning to the Light. Lanfear would have been a much more interesting and satisfying redemption arc if we were trying to redeem a Forsaken which like I don’t think we have to nor is a missed opportunity in the books. His death was so insignificant the mystery surrounding his killer also made no sense but it’s also like not a shocking reveal 🤷‍♀️

why do so many of Yennefer’s outfits that I’ve seen (including her bra) look modern? Wouldn’t she be wearing something else?

They can't stick to monochromatic colour scheme- considering various options regarding cuts, layers or structure the history of clothing offers, would be way too much!

So yes, her clothes looks either like something my grandma would wear, or rags they scavenged on a raid on local trift store. I don't know where the budget went, but it sure as fuck wasn't Yennefer's wardrobe.

This looks like vaguely "historical" cosplay you can find in trift stores or even your own wardrobe. It's also good to know average sorceress on the run can still get her mani-pedi comparable with present-day treatment.

Sorry for the quality, the lighting isn't very good and I'm not in mood to spend even a little more time on this, but this dress looks A LOT like the one from 01×05. So does the mask. (Budget cuts? Lack of creativity? Yennefer saving it for some twenty years in case she'd need to make Geralt feel nostalgic?)

Strong businesswoman jacket or What you want to wear to impress your peers and make them agree with you!

Some sort of nightgown? Sexy lingerie straight from the catalogue?

And we got to my "favourite"!

What the fuck is this rag? It looks like somethig Yen used to wipe the floor with, then proceeded to tie a knot or two and ta-daaa! Comfortable dress for every occasion's here! A ball or leisure? It's prefect for anything! (Unless you possess fashion sense, or gods-forbid sense of aesthetics.)

He been fine the witches let up after he paid most of his deaths and his mental health has been improving, so why would he be dying?! "I know it is hard to take in. But please be careful mammon" they could hear the slight worry in the butler's voice. "Do you know what ends up killing me?" Questions Mammon with a bigger frown as he took time to process. "No I do not, not at the moment at Least. Which is why I advise you to be careful. For your sake and your brothers." normally Mammon would brush off death threats. The witches do it to him and he's threatened by his brothers at times and even some lower demons he's used to it. But hearing a warning it come from BARBATOS terrified him. "O-okay..thank you for telling me....I'll be extra careful..." with that the call ends.

Michal frowned. "Dying huh....But why? Why would you be dying? Who would be trying to kill you" both twins couldn't answer this. "I don't understand either.....my debts are all paid it can't have been a human..they'd be too weak, nor could it be a lesser demon I could easily over power them.." the pairs thoughts would wonder. Mammon starts to shake. "It has to be someone powerful..something or some people who rank from Belphie and higher...possibly higher than Diavolo himself." It's clear the conversation affected the twins.

Michal's appearance would disappear leaving Mammon alone. "fuck it. If I'm going to die I might as well spend time with my brothers."

First they played one of Leviathan's favourite games at the arcade, next visiting the park and picking flowers, they fed some birds before heading off to the mall and buying some cosplay things. All while both had a smile on their faces for different reasons of course. When it turned late and their pair had started making their way to a casino, Leviathan had pulled out a knife ready to stab his brother to death. Yet froze when he heard Mammon speak "Y'know Levi I never told anyone bout this since I frankly didn't wanna speak on it. But my souls been connected too Michal's since our creation you get what I mean? So a month after we fell I found out we were soul bound. Meaning she's still somewhat alive but if I were too die she'd be dead forever." That information shocked Levi who quickly hid his weapon. 'They're soul bound?! I have to tell the others! We can get our sister back! We just need to separate their souls!' He thinks. A devilish plan creeping into his envious mind.

how do you think kalim and idia would spend halloween together?

Hello! Thank you for this ask, I'm very excited to answer!!

As I've mentioned in my horror movie post for Housewardens (based on the ask from @kimium; link here), I think Idia would really like horror movies (which is based on his R Halloween costume card vignette), but I feel like Kalim would not really enjoy all things horror and creepy. He'd like the more fun, light-horror aspects of Halloween. That being said, I think they can find middle ground to enjoy the holiday together!

Decorations are a Must. Kalim may not want the spookiest decorations, but he loves parties and themes. He'd choose some of the cute-looking ghost and witch window-clings, there'd be garlands of bats, Halloween themed plates and napkins, goblets shaped to look like skulls, and, of course, jack-o-lanterns which they carved together! Their pumpkins are displayed proudly, front and center, even if Idia is a little shy about sharing his. It's ok, because Kalim encourages him that it's really good!

For costumes, they spend weeks working together to make a couple's costume. Idia models it after one of his favourite anime. Kalim may not know the show's title, but he's watched a bit of it with Idia and he had fun watching his boyfriend enjoy it so much. He also thinks a couple costume is a great way to make sure everyone can see he's dating Idia. I think Kalim would be really into doing couple activities because 1. he loves spending time with Idia, and 2. he loves showing everyone how much he loves his partner! Also, he finds it fun to make the costume; I think Kalim would enjoy crafts like that. Idia is a stickler for details, but I think Kalim gets him to also let loose a little and remember that everything doesn't have to be 100% perfect. Knowing Idia's perfectionism when it comes to cosplay and his love of anime, he's definitely the one that keeps them on-track so the costumes are actually ready for Halloween...lol :)

When it comes to snacks and candies...well, I think Jamil and Ortho have now put in place a rule that Idia and Kalim *cannot* go to the grocery store unsupervised. The pantry was full with nothing but candy, the closet had bags upon bags of chips and popcorn. Jamil found skull-shaped chocolates in the freezer. Ortho discovered Idia sleeping curled up in a ball on his bed because Idia's bed was full of bags upon bags of sour candies. And they weren't planning on sharing with anyone. Idia and Kalim bought all those snacks entirely in preparation for Halloween Date Night so they could eat them all while watching movies together. They both got the scolding of a lifetime and then received a rationed portion of treats they were allowed to have for Halloween. I guess it's 'the couple that gets in trouble together stays together'?...lol. Not an ounce of impulse control between the two of them when it comes to the snacks haha.

When they finally get to have their Halloween date, I do believe they would spend it watching cheesy, not-overly-scary, Halloween movies and munching on snacks. They're definitely cuddling on the couch (Idia made sure they chose costumes that would allow for this) and they're laughing at the movie together. They marathon so many movies that they fall asleep on the couch like that, and there's spilled popcorn on the floor and half-drunk cans of pop on the coffee table and empty chocolate wrappers scattered about like confetti...

This is the reference I was working off. While I would liked to have captured the liveliness of his expression (and a number of other things) much better, this one didn't turn out terrible as a beginner study. He, um, looks a bit like the old Prince Valiant comics from the forties (not a compliment,) but I think a fan of the Narnia movies would be able to recognize the pose and crown, etc. I used cheat markings for distances and a few edges. This particular screencap has been in my files for years, as I have the strangest feeling I'm supposed to steal this actor's face for an original character.

The Narnia books seem both very present and faraway in my mind. They were a tremendous part of my childhood - aside from many rereads, the Radio Theatre dramas were the joy of my heart (my first experience with really good audio drama,) I loved the BBC miniseries and the 1970's animation in spite of their flaws, and in my teens I made cosplays for the releases of the movies. My favourites were The Silver Chair and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

The Narnia stories don't follow me around or stay in my heart the way they do for some who loved them in childhood (LOTR does, though!) Nonetheless, I do have a warmth for them.

This fall I am going to teach a semester-long class for younger students on the Chronicles, with two weeks alloted for each book. It'll be my first reread in a bit (though I think it highly unlikely I have forgotten anything.) I'm a bit like the Doctor - the sheen can sometimes rub off of the things dear to me a little bit, but when I have a companion - or a class of students - to show it to, the wonder revivifies. "And when you see it, I see it." I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing new truth in those dear old children's books.

Sekai characters' Roblox styles and gameplay habits!

Over the past few way too long, I've become. Somewhat of a Roblox goblin, especially when it comes to avatar making. So I'd like to share with you the kind of avatars each Sekai character would have (two examples for everyone except Tsukasa and Mafuyu, who only have one) and the kind of games they'd probably play.

LEO/NEED

ICHIKA

Big fan of 2.0 and those 3D anime girl heads with the fuckhuge eyes. Dresses all her avatars in school-themed outfits. Plays a variety of games, but mostly "mundane" roleplay games (such as Bloxburg and Brookhaven).

SAKI

LOVECORE LOVECORE LOVECORE. Does the 1.0 legs on otherwise 3.0 body thing. Almost exclusively plays RoBeats and those Friday Night Funkin' clone games. (i am pushing the pan saki agenda.)

HONAMI

Very red. Will wear just about anything as long as it has a red and white colour scheme. Doesn't actively play Roblox, only bought the 800 Robux pack because Ichika told her it was "embarrassing" when they played games together and she was a bacon.

SHIHO

Barb model. Basically only plays Da Hood and fashion runway games. Does not play games with the rest of her unit (when asked why, gets defensive and says she just doesn't wanna play Roblox). Gets genuinely upset whenever she plays a game for the first time and it doesn't let her use R6. Commissions art of her avatar and specifically requests the artist to make them buff.

MORE MORE JUMP

MINORI

Pastel preppy. Mostly plays Bloxburg, Adopt Me, MM2 and preppy hangout games. Makes TikToks where she shows off trades she makes.

HARUKA

Black clothes, short brown hair and penguin hats. Plays the same games that were on the front page 5 years ago and gets sad when any of them lose popularity or get deleted.

AIRI

All of her outfits are Halloween-themed (mostly witches, though she does have a good deal of vampire ones). To her, it's the single most important day on the calendar. Extremely stereotypical Royale High player.

SHIZUKU

Black and red edgelord, though much more in the "demon queen who wants to take over the world" way than the "haha I wear a shirt with a cropped anime ahegao girl and some Japanese text that doesn't actually mean anything" way. Also an avid Royale High player, but slightly less stereotypical than Airi.

VIVID BAD SQUAD

KOHANE

Animal-themed softie. (Honestly these fits are super cute.) Plays vibe games and "soft" roleplay games, as well as whatever An's playing (so mostly Da Hood).

AN

One of THOSE annoying rich kid Rogangsters/CnPs. Also one of those toxic assholes you meet in Da Hood/club and vibe games. Unironically goes on digital dates with Kohane in games.

AKITO

Goth weeb. Makes "uwu me and my partner are so cute in roblox" TikToks with Toya. Mostly plays Da Hood, Royale High and anime fighting/roleplay games. Probably does Genshin cosplays as well let's be real.

TOYA

Another one of those types who have no idea how to make R6 work and think R15 is the devil, except he's a softie who looks like he came out of an R63 animation instead of a DH-obsessed barb like Shiho. Plays dance games that allow you to use R6, as well as whatever Akito's playing (but only if he wants to make a video with him, he stays away from games that force R15 at all costs unless Akito needs him there for whatever reason).

WONDERLANDS X SHOWTIME

TSUKASA

Only has one outfit because he doesn't go into games where people care and only even bought it in the first place because he got mad at people at school for bullying him for being a bacon. A veritable god at simulators.

EMU

A rare non-toxic rich kid. Her outfits are all super pink and covered in bunnies. Has TONS of lim faces (SSHF and the butterfly ones are just her favourites). Plays EVERYTHING that gets on the front page (and enjoys most of it too).

NENE

An edgy weeb similar to Akito, but one I'd personally argue is a lot cooler than him. Almost exclusively plays anime fighting games, though she'll also join Tsukasa regularly. (Fun fact: I liked the avatar on the left with the cat shirt so much I bought it and used it for a few days.)

RUI

One of those dudes who only wears girl outfits. Will wear literally anything as long as it's feminine, has a consistent colour scheme and looks good with the makeup faces and mage anims. Plays every game that gets stereotyped as an "ODer game" in the hopes that someone will think he's a hot girl IRL and ask for his social media.

NIGHTCORD AT 25:00

KANADE

No particular style. Only buys clothes she sees other people wearing in games and only does vague searches for keywords or colours for accessories (such as "eye" or "black"). All her avatars (even besides these ones) wear hoodies and have extra eyes somewhere on them. Plays a lot of PVP and building games.

MAFUYU

Only has one avatar, because she doesn't care enough to make more. Only plays front-page games. Extremely basic.

ENA

Yet ANOTHER R6 obsessor who doesn't know how to style it, except this time she's a self-proclaimed "emo" who doesn't even know it was a music scene first and the fashion came later. Plays drawing games, 2D fandom roleplay games and Booth Plaza/Rate My Avatar.

MIZUKI

UwU kawaii pastel pink and rainbow softie, who also probably uses this to hide the fact they're actually super toxic. Plays dress-up and hangout games.

Who are your favourite characters from anything?

These aren't ranked because I don't like saying "Oh this character is better than this one" or "I love this character more than this character", I really hate doing that and I love these guys equally!

Shadow The Hedgehog, he's actually the first character I started and still am obsessive over since I was little! He's been a favourite for a loooong time.

The Tenth Doctor, another character I grew up with! I've been thirsting over David Tennant since I was in my early teens lmao.

Captain Jack Sparrow, at this point I should just say that I've basically grown up with all these characters.

what's your favourite doctor who episode from each season

Let me see-- I've only seen up to Season 10 (And only a couple of that one) so I'll do my best.

The End of the World OR The Empty Child/Doctor Dances. I know it's not the ones with the Slitheen, but I also love Rose, Father's Day, and the finale. This season has some great ones, and unfortunately the Slitheen. I'll say... Empty Child/Doctor Dances.

Christmas Invasion, Girl in the Fireplace, Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel... This one's got some bangers, but unfortunately, also Love and Monsters is there. Oh, and my most terrifying monster... that'll be later. My favorite killed me the first time I saw it. It's one of two episodes that made me cry. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday.

Blink is the obvious choice, but let's think longer about it. I actually love Runaway Bride, 42, and Lazarus Experiment-- as well as the fantastic Human Nature/Family of Blood. I actually like Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks, but I think I have to go with the obvious. Blink.

I know which one it's not! Planet of the Ood gave me NIGHTMARES! I hate the Ood. They're the one creature that actually scare me. The Ood are at their scariest in that episode, and I cannot take it. Okay, focusing-- Voyage of the D-mned, Partners in Crime, Doctor's Daughter, Unicorn and the Wasp, Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, Midnight, that finale-- I don't think this season really had any weak episodes. My favorite, though, might be unexpected-- Turn Left.

(Bonus to discuss the five specials-- It's not Planet of the Dead, but I think the other four are all equally fantastic. However, this includes the first episode I ever saw: The Next Doctor.)

Eleventh Hour, Beast Below, Vincent and the Doctor... Yeah, I know the obvious option, but I think my answer will seem strange, but it's got so many good ideas AND Rory is there. Amy's Choice.

Hm, let's see. The Doctor's Wife, Good Man Goes to War, Let's Kill Hitler, Night Terrors, God Complex... I have to go with the second of the two episodes that made me actually cry. This one has the honor of doing it TWICE. The Girl Who Waited.

I've said it before, but I'll note ones I like-- Asylum of the Daleks (which I have a poster for!), Rings of Akhaten is okay but not worth all the hype imo, and Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS. I'm not a big fan of Clara, so a lot of this season falls flat to me... And then there's a perfect episode among it all. Nightmare in Silver.

(Bonus for the trio of Name, Day, and Time of the Doctor. Obviously, my favorite is Day of the Doctor-- I have a poster for it.)

Bad news, this is where my memory gets super foggy. The only one I even remember is Mummy on the Orient Express.

I still don't remember much here, but I did reference a bit from this season for my TL!Ford au-- Specifically, The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar! My answer, though (since I like Osgood.) is Zygon Invasion/Zygon Inversion.

I only actually saw like... The first three episodes of this season. Pilot, Smile, and Thin Ice. However, I recall I loved Pilot.

I can't tell you my thoughts on the rest of the seasons, sadly. I've not had a chance to watch the rest, and the last time I saw any Doctor Who until just recently was like... four/five years ago? I remember watching it when I was doing a french project with my friend. We had to wait for our food to cook, so we just settled in to watch a couple of episodes instead. (Those episodes were Smile and Thin Ice.) I was in full cosplay as Doctor Horrible at the time, too. This probably makes my life sound even weirder.
