ok so nearly everyone in the fandom is doing this and as sad as it is that we need to remind these simple things to people, I feel the need to talk about this too.

I won't make this too painfully long because I know y'all most likely already know this and I just wanna put out a basic list of shit you should always follow in the fandom. But for those who don't, a lot of fan content creators, be it artists or writers or just general fans trying to enjoy their time, have been leaving/quitting the fandom.

Why are they leaving, you ask? Toxicity. Toxicity nearly everywhere. People can't hold respectful debates or discourses on interesting topics regarding characters/the books/ships anymore without someone toxicly stating that only their opinion is correct, and going off on anyone who has different opinions carried with a lot of aggressive, rude and shallow behaviour. Fanartists have gotten death threats and are scared of drawing art for the Riordanverse without getting anxious af.

Now the thing is, having done those (eXcepT for the death threats) doesn't automatically make u an entirely shitty person. Maybe you made a mistake and came off as rude without rlly meaning to. That's okay. Here's how to identify if u ever did so, and to change that behaviour. Again, it's okay to make mistakes, but we rn as a fandom srsly need to try to turn things around.

Some basic shit you should remember being a part of the fandom:

• NO NSFW STUFF WITH MINORS!!! That means fanarts, fanfics etc. But here's the shocking thing- when someone does this, you can actually hold them accountable WITHOUT SENDING DEATH THREATS AND CROSSING THE BOUNDARIES! Cuz doing that only makes YOU stoop just as low. Pl e a s e remember that always and be respectful whatever you do.

• That being said, ppl are allowed to write nsfw stuff IF said characters are aged up, aka 18+. Ofc, it's a must that they put a content warning beforehand because many people may not want to read that. BUT, if you don't want to read it and if they've aged up the characters so nothing's morally wrong or gross, then please do NOT hate the author in the comments, do NOT report their post/account. Seriously dude, they gave warnings, if you don't want to read it just scroll past it's not that hard. Unless it's with minors, you shouldn't be reporting innocent ppl's accounts like that.

• one thing that I've seen a lack of in the fandom are trigger warnings. I've seen several fics whose covers are literally of blood. And entire chapters were written with intricate graphic descriptions yet with no trigger warnings or a tw wayyy down in the caption. you never know what may be triggering to someone if a lot of ppl see ur content but the least u can do is put trigger warnings on the most common stuff. I get that it may look aesthetically matching if it's a murder mystery sorta fic but isn't the well being of people more important?

• look I'm not saying you're not allowed to have opinions, but the problem is when you start treating your opinions like facts. I can't count the times I've seen someone state their opinion like it's facts and then trash on other's for having a different opinion. PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS. Stop attacking people for liking Jason more than Percy or vice versa, there's no rule that you absolutely have to like one or the other, ppl can like who they want. When you're stating UR opinion, it would be nice if you used stuff like "I personally think that..." or "... that's just my opinion" because again, Ur opinion is just that, not a fact.

• if you can't have discourses or discussions about certain topics respectfully and nicely then don't have them. if someone's done nothing wrong but state their opinions and you don't like it, don't go attacking them. if you don't have anything good to say, shut up and just scroll past. it's not that hard. we don't need any more negativity in the fandom. If you feel like you're about to snap, mute or block the account you don't like and move on with life. But for the love of GOD don't go out of your way to be agresive or hateful to ppl. They have feelings too and run fan accounts for fun, not to get upset and hurt.

• when a fan account owner has made a post saying what they think of a certain topic, and you comment saying you think they're wrong and they reply that you didn't get the point of their post, then chances are you most probably actually did not understand what they were saying. when this happens, pls don't go on forcing ur opinion onto them as if you got what they meant when you didn't. Maybe next time when someone says you didn't get what they were saying, ask them nicely to explain it to you instead of going off like that?

• firstly, shame on you if you've ever run a hate account. just why? how much more negativity do you want to add? if you come across a hate account please please report it and block it and tell your friends to do the same. if you're targeted in a hate post, I'm so sorry, please know that they're shallow ppl just trying to make you feel shitty, you're dont have a trashy fan account; what they say is false and done purely to spite. report and block them.

• I know Rick has written a lot of racist bullcrap and hasn't batted an eye when we complained about them, but that still doesn't give you the right to send him death threats. Again, no death threats to anyone, yikes.

• don't use fanart that's racist. don't repost them either. Piper has feathers in it? don't repost it. also if you can't exactly and properly credit artists, don't repost their art saying "credits to the artist". I've done that before too but now I understand that's not right.

• also, while we're at it, can we all please universally agree on non-racist fanon stuff and get rid of racist canon stuff? like Piper and feathers, and piper & hazel with colourful and golden eyes, Piper's stupid not like other girls behaviour, and all the other bullshit Rick has put into the books. We as a fandom don't accept it and pretend they do not exist, no racism in this place 🥰‼️

• ppl are allowed to have their own headcannons, it doesn't matter what's cannon. Don't go "but in the books it's.." because in the books there's a lot of shit, and besides, if someone wants to headcannon Percy as brown? black? totally alright! they're allowed to do so! don't go bUt pErCy iSnT pOc iN tHe bOoKs. same goes with sexualities and etc headcannons. as long as they're not erasing the already representation of a minority, it's okay to have headcannons of your own. Like Hazel is canonically black and we should respect that and bring out the best of that, yk what I mean?

That's all I have to say for now. I'm usually a very light-hearted cursed meme account on here but things are getting out of hand. I was wanting to make my 8 yr old brother get into the Riordanverse fandom but seeing the situation of the fandom rn scares me. We need to think about the kids in the future who'll be in this fandom, whose lives will be changed and shaped by these books. Surely, the older people in the fandom before us would be utterly disappointed at what it's become and it's our job to constantly look out for the fandom.

If you're leaving/have left the fandom, I'm so sorry that it got to that point, but ur wellbeing comes first, do what you feel is necessary to feel better, all of us send lots of positive vibes towards your way! and to the peeps who've still decided to stay in the fandom and use their account to talk about this issue, I cannot express how thankful I am of you for doing such an important thing right now. And to everyone - as Harry Styles once said - treat people with kindness.

OHHH MY GOODNESS IM SO HONORED SOMEONE WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT IT ;__; I WASNT EXPECTING THIS WAHFHGH this is kinda silly but its the first au ive actually come up with myself.. im very much one of those “creative” types who can draw but cant write or come up with stories for SHIT so :’3c thank u for asking..

i ended up writing quite a lot so i will stash it all under the cut ^__^ but here is a group pic i did of the four main players ahhhh umm this art is QUITE old so dont look too hard lmfao but here are the lads!

so the play they are doing is hamlet because 1. play within a play..... 2. the main plot of this au is whether daniil or artemy will ultimately be cast as the lead role and i love to overthink about how both of them are fitting for the part in their own unique way o_o obviously daniil is aesthetically VERY fitting with all the dark emo brooding yet witty energy we love to see. artemy... well has a dead father etc etc but more than that i think a lot of hamlet’s philosophies are very applicable to him!!

the line i included in the caption of my art (“there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy”) is actually spoken by hamlet to horatio. here “philosophy” means science or learning in general. so hamlet’s acknowledgement of the limitations of the human mind, as well as his acceptance of it and the existence of unexplainable phenomena of the heavens and earth.. well i think all of that really lends itself to a strong argument for artemy to be considered for hamlet as well!! and thats just one example n_n

he’s pretty amused by daniil and the sincerity of his rivalry and various antics in the club (which usually involve andrey). he’s not so competitive himself, but not so meek that he would simply forfeit the lead to daniil.

you wouldn’t hear him admit it but he’s gradually become genuinely invested in the club and theater/drama in general

our story begins with this child 👇👇

this is the braces boy who attended def academy and tbh, he still looks 48030480 times better than i ever will so lets just stop to appreciate fetus jisung’s one piercing, braces, and his accentuated cheekbones bc they’re beautiful. let’s also appreciate his melanin and his awkward lil interview he did, which you can watch here if you’d like :).

~ moving on! let’s start in 2017, with the survival show :) (also where i fell head over heels for this boy and still going strong today ✊✊) here he is in all his glory of the survival show :)

um. the cutest? honestly i’m not surprised this is the person i chose to stan? like hfakhdflkklahdf this was the day of the jyp vs. yg thing and lemme just say i was NOT okay after that episode. those tears were all induced by this lil sweetheart above :)

"Lan-za-rote?" You sounded out, squinting at the unfamiliar name on the card Alex had just given you. It was your birthday in a couple days, and you were beyond thankful that your boyfriend Alex's schedule allowed for him to take a week off with you. He had just arrived at your apartment with a huge bouquet of flowers and an adorable handwritten card that made you tear up when you read it. Your eyes were so blurry that Alex had to point out to you that you missed the last sentence on his card. There, in his perfectly messy handwriting said 'pack your things baby, we're going to Lanzarote'

You peeked up at Alex, who was biting his lip to hold back his enormous smile. "Did I say it right?" You questioned quietly. He simply replied with a nod of his head. You were overwhelmed beyond belief that you were finally able to spend alone time with him, let alone actually go somewhere new with him. But where the fuck is Lanzarote? You've never heard of it

"Babe, where is this place?" You wondered out loud. Alex's smile only grew wider until he couldn't hide it any more

(He smiles like this when you ask him where ^^)

"Spain" he mumbled, tucking his mouth into his hoodie sheepishly. He knew you'd freak out because you get super uncomfortable when people spend lots of money on you. Seeing your eyes widen and mouth start to open in protest he stopped you. "I got a really good deal on tickets baby!! I promise! Plus, I wanted to go there myself anyways, if you weren't in my life, I probably would've just taken a buddy along anyways"

You were still in shock at the fact that all of these wonderful things were happening to you. Things like that just didn't happen to you; you've always been weirdly unlucky. But ever since you met this incredible man in front of you, your life has never felt more complete. "Aleeex" you protested, sighing in defeat since you knew he had already bought the tickets. You leaned into his chest and curled your arms around him snugly. He beamed down at you and kissed the top top of your head. "How long are we staying there?" You asked shyly, voice muffled against his chest. You felt his little laugh vibrate through his chest

"7 days" he said happily, rubbing your back. "We're going to be staying in a private beach house" Your first instinct was to protest, knowing that kind of thing cannot have been cheap. But you knew he had the money and more importantly, he wanted to do it. For you. You get to spend a whole week in Spain with the love of your life. Reality hit you and you started to tear up again. You took a deep breath in and out and looked up at him

"I'm so excited hunny, truly. I cant even begin to thank you" you whispered, chin resting against his toned torso. He grinned down at you, using his thumbs to wipe away the tear that had spilled over

"I know baby, I know. I love you" he said as he tilted his head down to kiss you. You kissed him back right away, never able to resist those lips of his. All too soon however, he broke apart, giving your ass a light spank. "Now let's get packing sweet cheeks, we got a plane to catch!!"

~~arriving there the next day~~

"We're almost here" the cab driver announced as he turned down a private road. You and Alex were huddled together in the back seat like you had been the whole plane ride here, excitedly looking out the window. The driver pulled up to a gorgeous looking beach house and put the car in park. "Here you are guys, the place looks lovely!" The driver said happily

"Yeah it does, here you go! Thanks pal!" Alex handed the driver the money and opened the car door, walking over to your side to offer you his hand getting out. You got out of the cab and took a deep breath in, looking around in amazement

"God, this place is beautiful!" You sighed contentedly

"It really is! It's so warm!" Alex commented, hauling both your bags out of the trunk before closing it and walking with you to the front door. You held the door open for him and stepped inside after him. Alex let your bags fall to the floor as you both took in your surroundings. The place seemed much bigger in person, it was open and airy with an incredible view of the ocean. You walked over to the window in the kitchen, staring out at the beach in awe. Alex snaked his arms around you from behind, kissing your neck softly

"You know, that beach is private...we can do whatever we want on there" he teased, kissing up to your earlobe. You fought back a laugh as he hit a ticklish spot. The ache in you longed for him to take you on every surface here, but your head was so groggy that you had to push that thought away until later

"Mmm that's true" you replied, tilting your head to allow him a better angle. "But you said yourself you wanted to go see the city first. hellabts? i don’t know her lol. in this house we support nct.

this is probably one of my most favourite things i've ever posted tbh, this was so fun to make and i could have made them way longer but i suppose there may be a 2.0 version in the future. i tried to make it a best friends version but honestly it could also be “nct dream as your boyfriend” lol anyway enjoy!

Media/Fans

the media finds out about them before they’re even like officially dating. Somehow one lucky paparazzi person that is on like stealth mode gets a picture of a tender moment when Marvin and Whizzer are out together somewhere. In the picture, Marvin is like brushing an eyelash off of Whizzer’s cheek or holding his hand or doing something really sappy (basically trying to communicate to an emotionally-stunted Whizzer that hey sleeping together is cool and all, but I want to actually date you, you know). Well, the news BLOWS UP with headlines like ‘Whizzer Brown’s Mystery Man’ and ‘Playboy baseball player settling down?’ and everyone scrambles to find out just who Marvin is. Once they find out that Marvin is a divorced dad, news outlets like TMZ are flooded with headlines like (thanks to @a-lesbian-from-next-door-too for this GEM of a headline) WHIZZER BROWN WITH DILF???

Whizzer Brown secret boyfriend is the most searched thing on Google that day.

All production in the tabloid industries stops as editors bark for their reporters to dig up more on this story. Journalists scramble for any bit of info they can get on Marvin.

And here comes disastrously incorrect articles like:

Marvin was actually still married when he and Whizzer started “dating.” Whizzer was the cause of his divorce.

Marvin is like 15 years older than Whizzer and is basically using Whizzer for his money.

Marvin has been Whizzer’s secret boyfriend (HUSBAND???) for over ten years now and it’s been kept well hushed hushed secret bc Whizzer has built a brand out of Gay Baseball Player/Playboy.

Jason is Marvin and Whizzer’s adopted child.

CONSPIRACY THEORY: Marvin and Whizzer are not actually together at all. Marvin is not even gay! Whizzer just wanted to rebrand himself from “player on and off the field” and so hired Marvin to be his fake boyfriend (pretending to be “settling down”). (this prompts a startled Marvin to exclaim, “How could anyone think I was straight???” to which Whizzer dead-panned responded, “Honey, no self-respecting gay man dresses like that.”

“Marvin? What kinda name is Marvin?”

“I know. It’s such an old man’s name!”

“It’s like he was born a middle-aged dad, you know?”

“Uh, guys, Whizzer is a pretty stupid name, too. When you think about it. I mean, who names their kid Whizzer?”

“No one asked you, Brent.”

“Yeah, Brent. Shut the fuck up.”

Marvin finds out about the news bc he goes to work the next morning and some asshole coworker has taped all the headlines around his desk (the DILF headline is blown up and taped over his entire desk).

Marvin is obv pissed and lowkey anxious bc he doesn’t want this sort of attention to negatively affect him or (GOD FORBID) Jason. Whizzer himself is just a little annoyed and sees that Marvin is upset, so he tries to like make the issue go away by tweeting out: “tfw ur out with one of ur booty calls and ppl think that just bc he held ur hand u two are getting married’. And uhh, this makes the media die down but Marvin gets more upset bc hey asshole I think I’m falling in love with you but apparently I’m still just one of your booty calls, huh? And Whizzer gets mad bc Marvin is mad and he just tried to make Marvin less mad, and angst angst angst.

When they do get together, Whizzer posts a picture on Instagram of the two of them with the caption 'tfw you fall in love with one of your booty calls’. And the Internet just kinda explodes.

Fans are a little mixed. On one hand, they’re happy that Whizzer seems to be happy. On another, they’re terrified that a relationship will somehow hurt Whizzer’s playing. They then shut the fuck up when Whizzer plays the most vicious game of his entire career and just throws the best pitches and just basically almost single-handedly eviscerates the other team. At the press conference, people ask what’s up with Whizzer’s playing, and one of Whizzer’s team members just sorta smirks and answers for him, “He has a lot of pent up tension and aggression. He hasn’t seen his boyfriend in like a month [bc it’s the peak of the season and they’ve had to move around a lot to different cities and such]."

Guys guys guys guys, I cannot begin to describe just how i c o n i c Marvin becomes so quickly.

Because once they’re like “official,” Whizzer spams his instagram account with Marvin - Marvin in a new gifted Red Sox jersey while Jason (in his decked out Yankees uniform) glares mockingly at him; at the park during a crisp fall afternoon, Marvin breathless and red-faced and caught mid-laugh; Marvin comically but dead-seriously holding a baseball bat with a stance and grip that makes Whizzer and all baseball fans around the world weep; Marvin Jason and Whizzer, in a cheesy selfie after a really tough game; a picture of Marvin’s back as the man is hunched over an oven (this one has the caption “I love when a man puts the steak in ;) ” ); a particularly artsy one with a black and white filter, with Marvin (asleep, hair mussed, naked but only his bare arms, shoulders, and upper back is not obscured by the white sheets) asleep in their bed. The fans lose their minds over these pictures, along with the little tibits of info/stories that Whizzer shares when prompted about what a dorky/lame/baseball-hating/he-writes-me-poetry-literally-what-a-fucking-nerd that his new boyfriend is.

When tweets and questions about Marvin keep buzzing Whizzer, Whizzer kindly asks (not forces, Jeez, Marv, don’t make it sound like I held a gun to your back) that Marvin get his own instagram/twitter accounts so they can just fawn over Marvin directly and leave Whizzer the hell alone to answer questions about baseball and photography and not about his relationship every fucking five minutes

This turns out to be a mistake. Marvin amasses ten thousand followers in six months. The guy barely even posts about Whizzer himself. He posts about broadway reviews and retweets funny cat pictures and every once in awhile, he posts partiuclarly needling things like how chess is better than baseball and he tags and @’s Whizzer in all of them. And everyone??? Loves it??? Whizzer is a little jealous at how people fawn over Marvin?? Like where’s some Whizzer love??? Whizzer is still the twunk that everyone loves, right???

Marvin is slowly accepted by the baseball wives. They’re catty and cliquish and they make Marvin’s life a living hell those first few months, but when Marvin does not take their shit and keeps pushing back, they grow to a mutual understanding that soon turns into begrudged respect that eventually turns into tentative friendship that eventually much much later turns into “if you dare utter one mean word or look at Marvin the wrong way, I will slit your throat with my sharpened, manicured, pastel pink-painted nails.” Whizzer shares one picture on his insta of Marvin with the baseball wives, with a glass of champagne in his hand and looking like he’s talking shit and the other baseball wives are laughing and eating this shit up, and he captions it: I think my boyfriend joined a cult.

The media as a whole leaves the two alone after they turn out to be just a regular couple and not that interesting?? EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT (see next bullet point)

Okay, so Marvin hates baseball, right? This is established. This is well known. This is Fact. Well, after they become like “official” and the media now knows who Marvin is, news outlets start to attack him/make fun of him/crucify him for looking bored at Whizzer’s baseball games. Like he’ll have his phone out or he’ll have his chin propped up with his hand as if trying to combat sleepiness and sometimes he brings like a magazine to read and he always has that bored, vaguely pained “I do not want to be here right now” look on his face. And any time that the Red Sox makes a good play or gets a homerun, it’s clear that he’s been spacing out bc whenever the people around him start cheering, he likes jumps and does that weak, wide-eyed “Idk what just happened and i kinda want death right now but I am being supportive” clap (one time, he zoned out and Whizzer’s opposing team got a homerun, and Marvin just started meekly clapping bc he heard the crowd doing it and ESPN and TMZ and all the news outlets had a field day of making fun of him).

And the media??? is like “why are you not supporting your partner? You embarrass him by looking so bored. Can’t you learn to love the sport if you love him??” and being really bitchy about it. And Whizzer gets pissed and so goes on air during a press conference - when some smart-ass reporter tries to make a barb about Marvin looking bored and in pain - and says really bitchily, “Guys, Marvin just doesn’t like baseball, okay? Yeah, that makes him an idiot - because baseball is incredible - but it doesn’t make him a bad partner. I don’t expect him to love the things that I love. I like that we’re different, you know? That makes him less boring. Like, he goes to my games even though he hates baseball. That is being supportive. Like fucking hell, guys, I’m with him because he makes me laugh and has a great ass - not because he’s some super baseball fan.” CUE MIC DROP.

And yeah, there are homophobic reactions to the relationship. Facebook groups dedicated to it. Marvin gets hate mail and one time got like yelled at on the street. Some of the media’s stories are overtly homophobic and overly crass. It’s 2017, sure, but there are still idiots out there.

Marvin and Whizzer don’t let the attention - good or bad - get to them. They just keep being in love and posting overly sappy instagram posts about their anniversaries and poking fun at each other on twitter and the attention never breaks them.

Love, love can be a funny thing as well as a hurtful thing we can't measure love with length or time but with actions, we can try to put it into words but our feelings are sometimes unexplainable. Unattainable, no everyone feels love everyone loves & has love. I love you.. that is in today's standard just a phrase we use to show appreciation for someone or something but when told to another person it means more, it defines a relationship, family, friend's, coworkers, etc, but when I say it to you it means more, it means more than the letters that build the phrase it comes from the heart, my heart this broken organ that keeps me alive. The damage I have done to you my actions & my decisions have hurt & left you alone at times, times where I did not think of anything or anyone but myself. you say I’m a good person & I mean well but never had the proper upbringing or teachings as a kid & you're not wrong you have taken this broken soul of mine & thought me everything you know yet I still did you wrong & in the end, you left me everything I need to become the man I should’ve been from the start. I cannot apologize anymore for they carry no weight nor mean anything between us because I have overused it I can no longer say I am the man of your dreams because we are no longer together, there doesn't seem to be a future for us anymore that vision seems dark and closed, as we both try to get used to the reality of each other being a use to be I have it the worst. You have a family to help & friends who understand along with wanting nothing but the best for you, you're meeting new people & entertain others while I wallow in my own mistakes, I replay the last time you said you loved me & meant it without your eyes saying otherwise. I chose to be depressed I chose to feel misery rather than get up & do better for myself because that it is what I deserve for being selfish along with uncaring towards you when I had it, I don’t deserve happiness, not now not while you heal & move on from me I owe you so many hours & tears I owe you so many thank you’s & flowers, dates & massages. I will never be able to give you any of that & for that, I’ll suffer. I wrote some hurtful things I wish you didn't write, I wish I could go back & rip them out like I've done the past week trying to write this I allowed myself to put my emotions at the moment into words & they meant nothing I didn't digest my emotions I just wrote what I was feeling in the moment. This what I’m writing to you is me in my purest raw form, no ego just my raw emotions I hope while you read this you start to let go of me I hope you get what I am trying to accomplish, closure. I will never get closure from you & I deserve it ill probably try to find you in other people & fail, go home & refresh your socials like a psychopath, check our messages & hope I’ll see the three little dots from you typing. I carry so much emotion within that it is not healthy & I’m going to kill myself not literally nor right now not for a couple of months but that guy you fell in love with that spring of 2017 will be dead. I hope my memories live through you everything I ever did good & everything I showed you I hope you find someone someday that makes you cum as much as they make you cry, knows to put a cold wet towel over your forehead when you aren’t feeling well or knows your love for art like I use to. Our relationship should’ve ended when I got arrest but it carried on & it lasted & for that alone I deserve this misery. I hope you keep at least one memory of me with you forever I hope that every time you see a mustang on the road you hear me get happy or ask you what engine size & year, I hope every time u look up in the sky & see the stars you remember me always looking for the big dipper. I still remember the first time you ever posted about me April 1, 2017, I told you “I Love telling stories lmao” & you responded with “I love listening” you continued to post about me & I felt so loved I felt like I was doing everything right, I was falling in love. Every night I lay in my bed & keep thinking back at your junior prom, I still had my red mustang & we were supposed to hang with maggie but you guys took forever so I went to the gym & broken my apple watch, that night we sat in the back seat of my car & talked for hours as it rained outside & got foggy in the car, we made out for the first time back there & it was heaven, I swear I can still feel the awkward butterflies leave my stomach as we moved left to right with our heads, you took a picture with the caption “3:00″ you looked beautiful that night. We use to get frozen yogurt every day that summer you always looked so gorgeous in my passenger seat & I remember every single time we went we would always try new flavors & I would always overdo it with the toppings but you thought it was cute. We use to get hotel rooms just so you could fall asleep in my arms & so we could feel like adults living on our own, little did we know that would become a reality & with it came a lot of problems both between us along with finically but I always made it work, even when I only had $10 I would give it to you, make sure you ate & you did the same. Tell your mom I love her & I am so thankful for having her in my life & for everything she’s ever done to help. My heart hurts so much knowing I caused you all this pain I always wanted to marry you, have 9 babies but I will live on & never have kids if they are not sharing any biological genes with you, you’re perfect in my eyes & have never done anything to wrong me I don’t know why I keep looking for reasons to be mad at you, I guess anger is an emotion I know so well I rather feel rage if not love. You’ve always had my back but I must go on without you, for now, I ruined whatever small chance of us getting back together or at least that is what I think. You're the strongest person I know & I want you to become successful whether I am around to see it or not I'll also cheer you on even if it means from the bleachers, don't ever let lose yourself in emotions along with stress you got this okay you're smart & independent, you're a queen so don't let alone ever tell you otherwise. I hope school goes amazing for you I hope you excel like I know you will don't let others around you become an anchor like I was you deserve nothing but the best & don't forget that. I don’t know if I'll ever get over you as i did with my ex’s but I know you’ll never be replaced we are branded “&” behind our ears for never-ending i don’t ever plan on getting rid of it as it is a metaphor for what could've been, I’ve spent almost every day after work writing your name on a notepad hoping I will get sick of it but no it doesn't help I just turn the page & continue your name. I love you so much Maegan I cannot lie to myself & say I don’t & I know you loved me too what we had was real but at the end of the day I ruined it I want to apologize for hurting you but I can't anymore, it doesn't mean anything to you anymore I will continue growing & learning from my mistakes I made with you to be the guy YOU deserve but for now this boy is going to be 6 feet under. I love you so much & I hope you can read this & allow yourself to let go you don't have to reply or say anything, you can trash this email if you'd like or not even read it but if you read anything I hope you read these last three words...
