Tumblr media
I don’t have much to give, but I don’t care for gold What use is money, when you need someone to hold?
He knows it’s a bad idea, he knows he should just make up an excuse to leave, but if he had a weak spot it would be the man in front of him. You see, Kindaichi Yutaro has been hopelessly in love with Iwaizumi Hajime since he saw him spike for the first time back at Kitagawa Daiichi Junior High. Kunimi used to joke that Kindaichi had stood there as Iwa’s hand smacked the ball onto the other side of the net with his jaw dropped and sparkles in his eyes which Kindaichi denied wholeheartedly.
Kindaichi found himself under Iwaizumi’s wing, the upperclassman quickly becoming a mentor to the underclassman. He could’ve sworn the warmth in his chest was just from the admiration he had for the Ace, that it was normal to feel nervous around the one of the people he looks most up to. He chalked it up to the same nervousness he felt when he met his favorite graphic novel artist.
When the time came for the third years to go to high school, Kindaichi was left feeling empty knowing he wouldn’t be standing on the same court as his mentor anymore. It didn’t take long for him to know exactly where he wanted to attend high school: Aoba Johsai. His decision to attend Seijoh came mostly because they had a good volleyball team in Miyagi, but it was also, in a very small way, because he knew Iwaizumi went there. And it wasn’t until he was standing on the same court as his once mentor, that he felt the warmth in his chest return, the remnants of his school boy crush.
Don’t have direction, I’m just rolling down this road Waiting for you to bring me in from out the cold
It wasn’t news to anyone that Iwaizumi and Oikawa practically shared a brain, many joked they had some weird, almost psychic connection. It wasn’t new to Kindaichi to see Oikawa hang all over Iwaizumi, shouting “Iwa-chan” to get his oldest friend’s attention. But what was new to the first year was the overwhelming feeling that flowed through him, causing his hands to clinch into fists whenever Oikawa’s touch lingered on the Ace.
Then came the day he felt his heart sink, his stomach dropped, his world cracked when he stumbled on the two kissing one day before practice in the club room. Everything clicked into the place the way the door clicked behind him. That year long school boy crush in junior high was something more, the almost smothering feeling in his chest was jealousy of the setter and Ace’s relationship and the empty feeling he felt now was the realization he never stood a chance with Iwaizumi.
He decided to shove his feelings down regardless of how much it hurt and for the first time in his life, he appreciated the two-year age gap between them because he wasn’t sure if he’d survive being around them longer than a year.
You’ll never know the endless nights, the rhyming of the rain Or how it feels to fall behind and watch you call his name
*                      * Which is why he had panic in his chest when he saw Iwaizumi wave him over from the other side of the campus quad and he suddenly felt like he was walking on eggshells all over again. It’s why when Iwaizumi eagerly patted his shoulder, telling Kindaichi how good it is to see him, he felt like disappearing. The weight of Iwa’s touch gave him the not so subtle reminder that even after three years, the crush he thought had fizzled out was now a roaring flame, demanding his attention.
Pack up and leave everything/ Don’t you see what I can bring Can’t keep this beating heart at bay
He lets out an exhaled sigh, tossing the pomade container on the sink a little too hard causing the lid to crack. He stares at his hair that decided it wasn’t going to work with him today as he chews his bottom lip.
It’s just drinks with a friend, breathe. It’s not like it’s a date.
Set my midnight sorrow free/ I will give you all of me
** Getting to the bar is easy, it’s the local one close enough to campus that the students have adopted it as their hotspot, finding Iwaizumi through the sea of people proved to be an Olympic sport all on its own. He finally finds him, already a few drinks in at a corner booth that Kindaichi slips into, letting out a relieved sigh.
There are still a few minutes before the two were technically supposed to meet, but it seems Iwaizumi started without him. He isn’t too offended about it, Kunimi made it a point to remind him that he’s a lightweight and should take extra caution, though his best friend would’ve preferred if Kindaichi had just rejected the invitation altogether.
“Kindaichi!” Iwaizumi slurs, lifting his beer in the air like some sort of celebration when he sits down.
“I see you started without me.” He tries to make it a joke, but the words get stuck in this throat, having a feeling that there was a deeper meaning to getting drinks instead of just catching up.
“Sorry.” Iwaizumi’s cheeks are red, a mixture of alcohol and embarrassment, but all Kindaichi can focus on is the adorable sloppy smile on his senpai’s face.
He tries to steer the conversation away from what he thinks is bothering Iwaizumi, assuming it has to do with course loads or finals but he knows that’s not it when Iwa’s face drops at the mention of Oikawa. Kindaichi knew Oikawa talked about going overseas, that Oikawa was crazy enough to do something like that, but he thought he might’ve gone somewhere closer when he and Iwa got together.
We sit in bars and raise our drinks to growing old Oh, I’m in love with you and you will never know
His heart cracks as he hears Iwa’s voice sloppily slur his explanation on how selfish he feels, how he should be happy for their former setter, but how can be happy when he feels so empty? He told himself he’d have two beers before he cut himself out, but Iwaizumi just kept ordering two each time and he didn’t want to upset Iwa anymore than he already was even if he knew Iwa wouldn’t mind drinking alone.
Kindaichi is on his third beer when Iwaizumi’s phone rings, Oikawa’s picture covering the screen and he watches Iwaizumi fumble in excitement and drunkenness as he quickly answers. He listens as his upperclassman’s voice changes, raising in octave as they catch up on each other’s day and Kindaichi wishes that Iwa was that interested in his day instead. He raises an eyebrow when he hears Iwa mention that he’s with him, reassuring Oikawa that he’s not going to overdo it on the drinks which Kindaichi is pretty sure Oikawa knows he’s lying. He watches the fall of Iwaizumi’s face before he tells Oikawa they could just reschedule his trip, to not worry about it that he completely understands.
Kindaichi is on his fourth beer when he asks Iwaizumi why he lied to Oikawa, how he’s okay with getting such a small fraction of Oikawa’s day, and why he puts himself through something that hurts him so much. To which Iwaizumi just shrugs in response, telling him that Oikawa’s focus should be on volleyball not his lovesick boyfriend.
Kindaichi is on his sixth beer when the two of them stumble out of the bar, each has an arm around the other’s shoulder in a bad attempt to hold themselves up. Even though it’s spring, the air is cool as it hit his face in contrast to the stuffy bar air.
But if I can’t have you I’ll walk this life alone Spare you the rising storms and let the rivers flow
They walk towards Iwaizumi’s apartment even though Iwaizumi fusses that he should make sure his underclassman gets home safely. Kindaichi’s quick to remind him that Kunimi is his roommate and is already on standby to pick him from Iwa’s.
Neither of them said anything as they hike up four flights of stairs, the alcohol weighs them down as they struggle to lift their feet as they walk. Heads are spinning and it’s not until they are at Iwa’s door do they feel the need to lean against the wall as Iwa misses the lock multiple times before Kindaichi takes over, opening the door.
Kindaichi knows he should just say his goodnight and wait outside for Kunimi, but he tells himself he needs to make sure Iwa doesn’t just pass out by the door. Iwaizumi waves Kindaichi in, telling him to sit anywhere, that there’s drinks, beer or water, in the fridge he’s welcomed to before sluggishly walking down the hallway. He’s walking back from getting a water when movement catches his eyes and his mouth goes dry seeing Iwaizumi walking towards him, shirtless and in low hanging gray sweatpants.
He suddenly feels a smothering heat wash over him, the air becomes suffocating and he hopes it’s the alcohol but he’s positive it has to do with Iwaizumi’s half-dressed state and the confession that is clawing up his throat. He chugs half of the bottle of water, but gets no relief, mouth still uncomfortably dry as Iwaizumi cocks his head to the side, concern on his features.
“Kindaichi? Are you okay?” He steps closer, reaching out a hand to his forearm, his touch practically burning him, “do you need to sleep here?”
Jamie Foxx once said “blame it on the alcohol” and that’s what Kindaichi clings to as his mouth moves faster than his brain, the words he’s held closest to his heart trip and fumble as they slip from between his lips.
You’ll never know the endless nights, the rhyming of the rain Or how it feels to fall behind and watch you call his name
“Leave him.” Fuck.
Iwaizumi doesn’t say anything, the alcohol clouding his thoughts and derailing any train of thought he tried to follow.
“Leave Oikawa. Pick me.” He takes a deep breath which does nothing to ease the shakiness of his words.
Pack up and leave everything/ Don’t you see what I can bring Can’t keep this beating heart at bay
“Kindaichi…” Iwaizumi feels himself sobering up, the intensity of the confession hitting him like an icy wind in the middle of December. “I love you!” Desperation drips from the three words that he throws at the man in front of him, trying to cling to something, trying to convince him that it’s not just drunken words but ones that have been forming since he first met him. “I can be here for you.”
Iwaizumi lets out a deep breath, watching the way tears start to fall down Kindaichi’s cheeks as he watches him try to compose himself, to cover his bleeding heart, his chest that’s been opened and gutted, that been exposed to Iwa in a haste. Iwa wonders if that’s how he’d have been if Oikawa didn’t reciprocate his feelings, if he had to carry around all those feelings alone, dragging that heavy weight behind him.
Kindaichi takes his silence as his answer, he doesn’t really want or need to feel anymore pathetic that he already does. “But I’m not Oikawa.” He pushes his back off the wall he’s been leaning against, twisting the water bottle lid tighter than it needs to be as he walks towards the door, socks shuffling against the carpet.
“Kindaichi, wait.”
“Can you just explain it to me? How you’re okay with being with someone who left you here?” He pulls his shoe over his heel, words breaking as they come out. “Cause I just don’t understand. I’ve felt this way for three years and it’s hurt too much sometimes.”
Set my midnight sorrow free/ I will give you all of me
He wants to reach out to Kindaichi, pull him into a comforting embrace, but he knows that would be selfish, it wouldn’t be fair and honestly at this point the hug would be more to ease Iwa’s guilt than anything.
There’s a tug at his heart when he sees how Iwaizumi’s expression changes, the love and adoration he has for the setter coats his facial features as he tells him that he’d follow Oikawa to the ends of the earth. Explains that it didn’t matter if it was five seconds or five days, he would cherish whatever he could get from Oikawa because regardless of their physical location, they were each other’s home at the end of the day.
Just leave your lover, leave him for me
He bites down on his bottom lip, tears pricking his eyes again as he digests Iwaizumi’s reasoning, seeing how he really never had a chance to begin with, Iwaizumi and Oikawa’s fate was practically written in the stars. He wants to be upset or angry, but how could he when the person he loves is happy? Then it hits him that he’s feeling exactly how Iwa does and he once again realizes just how much respect he’s always had for Iwa.
He’s nodding as he finally turns around to face Iwaizumi, trying to let him know that he really does understand and that he’ll be okay, but too afraid to speak in fear his words will come out a broken and jumble mess. Logically he may understand, but emotionally it’s too soon, it’s too early for him to tell Iwa that he’s happy for him. Iwaizumi walks closer towards the door, keeping an appropriate distance from Kindaichi whose has one hand on the door knob ready to bolt.
“You can wait in here until Kunimi gets here.” He says each word carefully and in an even tone.
He shakes his head, “I think fresh air might help clear my head.” He opens the door, using his free hand to shoot Kunimi a text.
“Kindai—”
“It’s fine, really. I just need some time.” He tosses up a hand, waving as he walks down the hall and towards the stairs, “I’ll see ya around, yeah?”
“Yeah.”
Leave your lover, leave him for me
*                      * “I told you to be careful.” Kunimi shakes his head, “here.”
Kindaichi takes the glass of water and two painkillers from his roommate who thankfullywaited until the next morning to lecture him. “I know.”
“Wanna watch whatever that show was called you haven’t shut up about?”
“But you said you wouldn’t like it.”
Kunimi shrugs, “but you will. Do it before I change my mind.”
Kindaichi smiles at Kunimi, eagerly pulling up the show and pressing play. He’s been talking about it since it was announced and every time Kunimi would just shrug and walk away. He glances over to his right when he feels something poking his arm, Kunimi holding out a small box.
“Salted carmel? You never share.” Kunimi sighs, “I’m never being nice again.” “I’m kidding, I’m kidding.”
Kunimi leans his head against Kindaichi’s shoulder, not really paying attention to the screen but he assumes something great happens by Kindaichi’s movements. Whether it be a crappy TV show or sharing his favorite food, Kunimi would do whatever to make his best friend happy, that’s what you do when you love someone, right?
Leave your lover, leave him for me

Why do people make Kindaichi in to such a jerk??? He honestly isn't?? I'm so confused on how people got the fact that he's a jerk.
Sure in the beginning he was kind of a jerk with giving warnings to Hinata like "Oh he'll throw you aside" and all of that but you do realize that was really how Kageyama was back when Kindaichi worked with him, that was the only way Kindaichi knew Kageyama to be so it was a genuine warning, just phrased badly.
We know this when during the practice match he's: 1) Shocked that Hinata thinks his sets are always because they were always unreasonable to get to back when they worked together 2) When Kageyama works pretty well with everyone Kindaichi is once again shocked and even goes on to say something along the lines of "I've never seen him this way."
Then in S4 we see now that Kindaichi has learned that Kageyama has indeed changed, he does care about him. We're shown this with the way he asks if Kageyama is doing well now, it's also something that seemingly shows us that Kindaichi is still living in the past with the regrets of hurting Kageyama by having everyone abandon him on that fateful court day in middle school.
When he asked that question it was a way to assure himself that he can finally move on and put those days behind him. He isn't some stuck up jerk who hates Kageyama, he's a teenage kid who made a mistake and is doing his best to move on from it.

a/n: since I'll be at the beach all day with my boy (avoiding humans on hiking trails) I thought I should post this since it's just sitting in my drafts (:
tags: fluff, hinted poly relationship between fem!rader/Kindaichi/Kageyama, Kunimi being the only smart one
character(s): Kindaichi Yuutaro (hq), Kageyama Tobio (hq) Hinata Shoyo (hq) Kunimi Akira (hq)
Tumblr media
Billows of cold salty air rolled off the waves far out at sea. Leaving your lips to taste like salt when you licked them to turn the page on the spiral notebook Shoyo had unearthed as a ‘score board’ for the volleyball game. Names scribbled out repeatedly as the four of them kept switching doubles. Humorous in all as they were acting like rowdy children whooping and hollering about the game.
You sat next to the pile of discarded hats, coats and packs. Legs propped up under you giving you something to rest your chin on as you watched. The cold shift of wind not even to make you feel anything but warmth watching your friends play their very first volleyball game as friends. Real friends.
“Quit it I haven’t even exercised in years!” Akira huffed once more when digging his heels into the sand like Shoyo said only resulted in him taking a face first dive into the sand.
“Hah!” Yuutaro didn’t even stop the laugh from leaving him when his block sent his best friend face first into the sand.
“Nice!” Tobio through his arms up for a double high five with his old Kitagawa teammate like it was nothing.
Something seemed so weird but so natural about it. Tobio asking for a high five from Yuutaro. Certain you never thought you’d see the day. It seemed so right though. As did Akira face down in the sand as Shoyo bobbed up and down trying to get him back on his feet like an excited crab scuttling across the sand with ease.
Everything went on for some time. Actually you lost track of time all together. Everyone seemed to have played against each other once at least. Or twice even. Switching so everyone was paired off with one another and no one was left out. There was no way to tell if there was a real winner in fact. You stopped counting as almost no one besides Shoyo could manage to facilitate beach volleyball.
Humorous actually when Tobio was left running down the beach after each serve because he refused to acknowledge wind as a factor. Topped only by the amount of face plants Akira and Yuutaro took from their noodle legs in the sand. Your boys really weren’t made to take so many headers but you still laughed every time it happened. Glad it was the sand they were biting and not something harder.
Big deep heaving breathes as he trudged over to you in the sand. Akira thanked you for the water bottle you tossed to him before he asked. Slugging back the rest of his bottle until he wiped his mouth and turned to look out at what it was you were looking at. Quickly a grimace crossed his tired features, “Take a picture it will last longer.”
“Oh shut up,” Quicker to eye roll than knock him over for the five hundredth time, you don’t hide the fact you’re watching Tobio and Yuutaro expound on something they just peeled off the volleyball Tobio went down the beach to go get. It looked like kelp. Neither of them knew it. Didn’t stop them from looking at it like idiots.
Akira copped out by you. Sinking his bottom into the sand with a thud and he began digging through the shared backpack Yuutaro and you brought, “So Kageyama needs a place to stay.”
“Yeah?” Your eyebrow raises but you don’t turn your head.
He shrugged and watched the same thing you did. Tobio setting to Yuutaro who proceeded to spike it down right next to where Shoyo was tying his shoe. Leading to a spray of sand and Shoyo’s indignant response followed by Tobio and Yuutaro giggling like school children and not enormous men both over six two. Claiming loudly it was payback for tricking everyone into beach volleyball.
“Seems like you two are poor enough.” Akira shrugged.
“We are not poor you ass!” Reaching for his fanny pack you use it to swat at him with. Akira out of reach enough that he just sticks his tongue out at you safely. In defeat you chuck his pack at him only to have it caught with ease, “We aren’t that poor.”
“Kindaichi mentioned it honestly,” Akira pointedly spilled the beans on your guys friend, “About letting him stay maybe.”
“What? Excuse me? Suddenly you’re privy to house decisions?” A bit offended that Yuutaro had said something to Akira and not you.
“He only mentioned it,” You got an eyeroll, “Once. I thought it was funny.”
Funny? Laughing at him was never funny you both knew that. It made you wonder if Yuutaro was serious. About having your old friend move in though. When you looked out at the two of them tossing the volleyball back and forth with Shoyo in the middle made it seem like they were never at ends with each other.
“...just tell him,” Akira pushed himself up from his seated position. Earning an audible, huh, from you at his obtuse statement. Not looking back down at you though he started back with the others, “Well, I guess I should say, tell them both...I think they’d both take it well.”
Drowned out by a second you can’t believe Akira knew. Maybe he didn’t. It was just a shot in the dark. Or maybe you wore your heart out on your sleeve this much.
Either way. After all these years nothing sounded more like home than having the two people you loved more than anything under one roof.

OK say what you will about the events in kageyamas middle school but, honestly, the worst people in this situation were the adults who did nothing in any of this.
Like, correct me if I'm wrong, but kageyama, kunimi and kindaichi were around 15,right? And they were just left to deal with this? Now, I'll admit I know nothing about Japan but this seems odd to me.
Now I won't deny kunimi, kindaichi and kageyama all did bad things and treated each other badly but it's kind of understandable. Like, I dont know about you but if I was in that situation at fifteen, someone I considered a friend suddenly treating me badly and yelling at me constantly, my first thought wouldn't necessarily be what us this person going through. I'd think it was about me personally. As for kageyama, he's already socially awkward but match that with his grandfather being dead and the grief that brings, its not a good combination. He felt like he had no one to talk to and honestly probably wouldn't know how to. Sadness and grief very easily turns to anger, especially at fifteen. So he threw himself into what connected him to his grandfather, the thing he loved, volleyball.
However, if anyone would've known his grandfather had died and he was alone it surely would've been the teachers and coach, right? So, if they knew this and realised his personality change, why didn't they talk to him about it? Maybe they did, maybe he refused to speak to them. Then there's the tension in the team. The coach may have addressed this but I feel more could've been done. Like, clearly, even if you don't know why his personality changed, the change itself would be concerning. Wouldn't you bench that player, even if they were good, because of tension? Maybe, as a coach, you don't want to bench this kid and maybe you're even worried that doing so will make things worse. Why do you then allow this fifteen year old's teammates to publicly abandon him, in the middle of the court, potentially destroying his chances of getting on a team in high school? Even if a kid isn't going through stuff, why do you let this happen? I refuse to believe the coach didn't know. Also as I said, obviously it's bad that kindaichi and kunimi went about things this way but the adults should have talked them out of it, instead of letting it happen.
So, you let a grieving, socially awkward fifteen year old continue to play, despite it clearly not really helping, and despite rising tensions in the team, and then you let his teammates publicly abandon him and humiliate him, affecting his ability to trust, and why? So your school could win? You didn't even manage to do that, so what did you, as the coach, even gain out of any of this?
Anyway, this is why I kind of hold the adults responsible, because if one of them did something, offered him a healthier outlet for his grief, or even helped him communicate with his team better (which wouldn't have been hard, suga managed it at 18, why couldn't these adults?) ,maybe none of that would have happened. And I know this kind of had to happen so he'd go to karasuno but I still hate the adults that allowed this to happen to a fifteen year old, and left a bunch of fifteen year old to deal with a problem involving emotions and communication alone. Honestly they're lucky haikyuus a more light hearted anime, otherwise we'd see even more of the effects on his mental health because of this.
Ltdr: the adults in kageyamas middle school suck.

I’m screaming
Imma make y’all a volleyball player for this. Please don't be mad.
Seijoh went to another school for a practice match, so after winning, as they were going out of the school they saw a volleyball match going on.
They all decided to look and at that same point you scored a point by doing a awesome fucking float serve.
Kindaichi immediately fell in love like
And then after you guys finished practicing, this cute guy came up to you to ask for your number and you recognized him because, ‘he's Kindaichi right from Aoba Johsai’.
So after you two got to know each other for a bit you guys started dating.
Random dating hcs time cause I suck at formatting all my points!
Okay okay, I remember reading a headcanon about Kindaichi that he likes to do gardening and yes?
Like why is that so perfect for him.
But anyways.
You would go to Kindaichi's house for a study session and after you two were done, Kindaichi's mother made some snacks for both of you and suggested you two go sit out in the garden.
So you two went and sat in the garden and then you noticed all of these flowers like growing
(I'm sorry if this sentence is inaccurate I've never done gardening in my life)
And they were very well maintained and looked very fresh and beautiful, so you asked him if his family had hired someone to be their gardener.
And Kindaichi opened up about his hobby and how he tends to the garden after coming back from school.
After that you two tend to just sit at home and do gardening.
It's so cute I swear.
Also have I ever said Kindaichi’s a fucking simp.
Like I'm not even kidding.
This man just loves everything about you and hes so fucking soft for you and ahhhh.
When your anniversary grows near he invites you over to his house for dinner and gifts you a flower he grew specifically for you.
He's such a sweetheart.
Also he just looks like you like you're the most perfect person in the world and it really shows.
Like his eyes just sparkle when he sees you and it's so noticeable.
Like all his teammates are like he's whipped.
I- okay.
So one time this boy accidentally hit you with a ball while practicing one of his spikes.
And then he felt bad and he started apologizing non-stop for it and he started sulking.
So to make him feel better you just pulled him in for like a soft kiss and he literally melted after that.
He gives like the softest kisses and it's just so cute and he cups your face so softly and tenderly like you're made of glass.
but-
okayhaveyouseenkindaichishandslikeomgg
Like his hands are so big and like when you hold his hand and like ahhh
I'm short circuiting.
(Okay so I'm back after an hour.)
But imagine if you hold his hand and your hand is just so soft against his cause his hands are rough but he's so gentle when holding your hand and he tries to be careful so as to not hurt you.
Also cuddling with this man is heaven cause he's so big and he would just engulf you.
He would also love to be the small spoon case he's a baby.
On top of that he's too afraid to give you nicknames and baby is just too soft to handle them.
But unlike Kindaichi you have like two set nicknames for him.
Sweetheart is used on a daily basis and casually,
And baby is used when he's sad.
Talking about nicknames you have a habit of addressing people with honey, for example.
‘Honey, you seem to have dropped your wallet’.
Kindaichi got jealous of this in the beginning of the relationship but now he's come to terms with it and knows that it's just part of habits.
Okay so cooking.
Actually ngl Kindaichi's sorta bad at cooking.
He likes to cook and he wants to get better at it.
Also fun fact he definitely plants some vegetables too and he definitely insists that his mom uses some of those vegetables when cooking.
And she cant say no cause the vegetables he grows are perfect, like how.
After the masters cooking some time later, he definitely cooks something and sets up a fancy dinner date.
Like yk in those movies with candles and like all that shit.
Also this boy is so pure.
One time someone on the other team was being sarcastic and being quite rude to Kindaichi.
Now as his s/o Its your job to beat up the piece of shit who was making fun of him.
‘Queue sarcastic remark’ from one of the other teams players.
But before you could go and like
Kindaichi was like, ‘Oh thank you!’
And like my point is the boy doesn't understand sarcasm and like it takes him a while to understand it.
Also Also
(This is kinda derived from my cat so if you don't have a cat then-)
Okay so Kindaichi's popular with your cat.
Surprisingly when he came over to your house for the first time your cat didn’t scratch him.
She rubbed herself against his leg a little bit and went on her way.
You were so shocked that you had to sit down and that was the point where you were like,
‘I have to marry this boy- wait it’s too soon for marrying.’
He has like this gift with animals, every animal he comes across likes him.
Like one time you guys saw a crow sitting in the backyard everyday.
That crow was known to peck and terrorize older people.
Kindaichi went in the backyard and you had no time to warn him about the crow-
Somehow the crow liked him as well and now it stays in your backyard 24/7 and gets lunch at a fixed time or gets mad.
Also whenever you go out in the backyard, the crow likes to caw at you and sit on your head.
Fun fact the crow and your cat are best friends.
hurray
Bonus point: I think we all know this but Kindaichi’s very down to earth and humble and I think that's mainly because of his family atmosphere and all the people he's been around.
When his mom first heard when he got a s/o she was worried because she was worried that you would be a bad influence on him but when she met you, she was relieved cause she saw that you cared for him a lot and weren't really a bad person.
(But she thinks you gotta work on reducing your cursing...oops)
Talking about his mom, she babies her son a lot.
Kindaichi gives off ‘the innocent only child or the youngest child’ vibe
I'm sorry if Kindaichi has any siblings.
But like as I was saying he's babied a lot and he’s lowkey a mama's boy like he doesn't like to admit it but he is-
Because of being babied a lot he's a bit disorganized but it's not that big of an issue.

HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY TO THIS SMOL CHILD GSGSHW ❤️❤️🎉🎂🎉🎂🎊🎉🎂🎊 I love him. I'm kind of late and I'm sorry about that (It is the 7th, 1:25 A.M. for me when I'm posting this) I didn't have a lot of weird cutouts of him... I think that is good tho.
