Which canon miraculous you think would help Chloé become a better person?

Honestly, Bee was really set up to be the best for her overall growth. Cause everything that bees are tied to is all that Chloe needed to grow as a character. This Miraculous was her perfect foil.

Bees are tied to community, fellowship, teamwork, duty and responsibility, working hard, being selfless, and having self-restraint (for a bee can only sting once). Chloe ultimately needed to learn how to work with others, to be more considerate and selfless, and to actually do her own work instead of passing it off to Sabrina. And self-restraint as she easily lashed out, "stinging" very easily and readily.

Chloe essentially starts out as a wasp, and was set up to learn how to be a true bee.

But that potential went out the window when they made Pollen an eager servant and yes man, and went with "bee sting" power. Cause that's what bees are known for, stinging. These ultimately didn't help Chloe much, as the power and kwami just feeds into how she is.

If Chloe's growth was to be tied to the Miraculous, then it should've been tied to community in some way, and something that's going to have to force her to change, like the power instead is directing a magical swarm of bees that WILL unionize and leave you if you're unfit to direct the hive, and they will not come back until you change for the better. Which until Chloe makes a change and commits to it, she's going to be powerless. Also, Pollen herself would also need a huge overhaul in personality, cause Chloe doesn't need another yes man in her life, she needs someone that is going to challenge her and how she is.

Outside Bee, there is promise for her having the Horse. They are tied to being noble and heroism, which Chloe did admire heroes and want to be like them, so something like that could be worked off of. Kaalki also has similarities to Chloe, so she can be on the same wavelength as Chloe, but still challenge her and how she is as Kaalki should be all for her holders being noble and true heroes. Which Chloe is not.

There is some potential for Cat, but it could also be risky. Plagg and Chloe could be a very funny pair, how she is could practically be begging him to mess with her and have some payback. And it could also be a good destructive outlet for her. But this is also an easy Miraculous to misuse, and do we really want to see Chloe wielding the power of destruction? I'm not sure.

I can also see potential with Mouse. The little we see of Mullo has some similar appeals to Plagg in that she'd mess with Chloe and be hard to control, and her liking to prank her humans can work off some good karma to how awful Chloe is. And the power of cloning is going to mean Chloe's actually going to have to do work, and is going to set Chloe up to deal with herself. It can be set up with her literally looking in the mirror to see who she truly is and need to change, less nothing get done cause she's too busy fighting with herself.

Lastly, there is also similar appeal to her having Monkey. Monkeys are also tied to honor and strong sense of communities, and she's very chaotic so the power will be up her alley; biggest appeal though is Chloe paired with Xuppu. That kinda promises it's going to be hilarious given both have short tempers, and Xuppu is an absolute gremlin and will prank Chloe, make a mess of her life, and call out her bs.

So of the canon, these are what I would vote for, with Bee having the most promise but needs changes, and there's potential for sure with Horse, Mouse, and Monkey. Technically Cat too but that could also be risky.

I remember there was like- a lot in the show.

Like there was an episode where one of the bratty girls had to come to terms with the idea that her horse would have to be put down and she'd have to find a new horse.

Another time where one of the girls like fell off her horse and was scared to ride again, but it turned out that the main girl's horse was sick and like dying.

Another one was literally about an old cat dying.

There was a lot of death.

Lowkey high-key had a crush on the main girl (and the main girls horse- THE HORSES SPOKE, IT'S NOT THAT WEIRD.)

For Chloe's birthday, the Western wizards had organized a grand party with the entire manor in attendance.

Once the festivities ended however, only the Western wizards and I remained in the dining hall.

Chloe: Thank you so much for today!

Chloe: The party was absolutely incredible. I didn’t think you’d go so far for me.

Akira: I’m glad that you liked it.

Shylock: Hehe, it’s only natural we would. Everyone adores you after all—myself included.

Murr: Me too—!

Rustica: My beloved apprentice and dear friend, I hope your days from here on will be filled with the most marvelous of memories.

Chloe: Ehehe, I’m so happy right now I don’t want the day to end.

Rustica: There’s no reason why the festivities can’t continue in your dreams as well. However, before heading off to bed, we do have one final present for you.

Rustica: Master Sage, if you please.

Akira: Got it! Happy birthday once again, Chloe.

Akira: To celebrate, please allow me to take you to the Flowermist Wonderland tomorrow.

[Chloe’s Room]

The next day. With the Wonderland invitation in hand, I made my way to Chloe’s room.

Akira: Here you go Chloe. It’s the invitation to the Flowermist Wonderland.

Chloe: It has all my favorite things on it! Did you make this yourself, Master Sage?

Akira: Yep! I wanted to make it as personalized as possible.

Akira: All you have to do is sign your name here and cast your spell. Then a door to the park will open. Shall we try it?

Chloe: Alright! First, I'll write my name, then…

With a slow creaking sound, the doorway to the Wonderland opened before us. A sweet scent wafted out as mist began to obscure the room.

[Flowermist Wonderland - Day]

Chloe: Wow…! Those wooden horses are flying! And over there! Are those swings?

As the scenery came into view, Chloe excitedly took in everything around us. As he moved, the beret on his head wobbled, causing him to gasp with a start.

Chloe: Oh, I have a hat! Actually my entire outfit changed!

Akira: Anyone who comes here gets their clothes magically changed. Those colors are so chic; they look perfect on you!

Chloe: Ehehe, really? This is so cool. A brand new outfit just for me!

Chloe twirled around as if examining the swish of his coat. His joy was infectious, and I could feel myself smiling too.

Akira: Let’s get started then! There’s a lot to see, so I’ll lead the way!

With a spring in our steps, we made our way to a row of little wagons. Running up to one of them, Chloe smiled happily.

Chloe: This is amazing! They’re loaded with buttons and fabrics! I’ve never seen anything like this before…!

Akira: This really is like an arts and crafts paradise.

Akira: It seems like everything here has magical properties too.

Chloe: Oh, you're right! That cat embroidery is moving! Its tail is flicking back and forth like it’s about to pounce on something…

Akira: Maybe it’s trying to get that butterfly button…?

Chloe: I bet! …Oh, whoa!! The butterfly is flying away now! Ahaha!!

Chloe’s violet eyes sparkled as he perused the items lined up in the wagons.

Akira: I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself. I just knew I had to take you here as soon as I found this place.

Akira: Since we’re celebrating your birthday, please feel free to choose something you like as a gift.

Chloe: Wow, really!? Thank you so much! That’s incredible!

Chloe: Everything here is so unique, I hardly know what to pick.

Chloe: With all the novelties here, I could create designs I’ve never tried before!

As Chloe scanned the items on the wagons, his expression revealed a surprising amount of deliberation.

Everything he made was filled with such love and care. As I watched his face, I felt like I could see that passionate creator in him, and my chest swelled with emotion.

Akira: Take as much time as you need, alright? Aside from this, there are also wagons with hats and gloves in them.

Chloe: Really! Can we see them too?

As we looked around the wagons, time seemed to pass in the blink of an eye.

Chloe: That was so~ much fun! I can’t believe those shoes started dancing like that.

Akira: They were so lively too! …Oh, there’s the next wagon.

Chloe: Oh, this one has scarves on it! They’re so colorful and pretty.

Chloe: Ah! This is…

Chloe’s eyes settled upon a single scarf covered with pale flowers amongst the countless others in the cart.

Chloe: Hey, doesn’t this scarf remind you of this place?

Akira: It does! The deep blue fabric kind of reminds me of the stars twinkling in the night sky.

Chloe: Right? Isn’t it gorgeous? I think… this is what I want to take.

Chloe reached for the scarf. However, as his fingertips brushed against the fabric, his hand suddenly froze.

Chloe: …

Akira: Chloe? It’s your birthday, so you can take it if you want…

Chloe: …Ah, sorry! I just had a moment there.

Chloe: On second thought… Maybe I don’t need a present after all.

[Ominous music]

Akira: Huh…?

Chloe: Today has already been so amazing! The memories are all I need!

Despite his words, however, his smile seemed a little off.

I took Chloe’s hands, and held them as they shook ever so slightly.

Akira: …Are your hands warm now?

Chloe: Huh? I mean, yes, they are…

Akira: Then this is proof it isn’t a dream, right? If it was, you wouldn’t be able to feel this warmth.

Chloe: Ah…

Akira: I’ll hold your hands, Chloe. Just like this.

Akira: I’ll hold them so you can trust that yesterday, and today, and all the love you’ve ever received is real.

Chloe’s eyelashes fluttered. Rather than pulling away, he returned my grip.

Chloe: …That’s right… Thank you, Master Sage.

Using one hand to hold mine, Chloe let go with the other and reached for the wagon.

He then carefully picked up the scarf he had once hesitated to touch.

Akira: …Ah… The flower petals are falling…

Gently landing onto the scarf, light-colored flower petals began to rain from the sky.

Akira: (This is the sign that the guests are fully satisfied…)

Before long, the entire area was enveloped in mist.

There seemed to be a tinge of disappointment in his voice.

However, upon seeing the scarf in his hand, his lips curved into a smile.

Chloe: I want to create a matching outfit for this scarf, so I wanna hear your ideas!

As Chloe spread out the scarf, there wasn’t a hint of anxiety left in his bright, glittering eyes.

Akira: Of course I can. I’d be happy to help!

An Exciting Series of Events - Card Episode

Akira: Your birthday sure was extravagant. I was surprised to find the entire manor decorated from top to bottom as soon as I woke up.

Chloe: Me too! Apparently, Murr did that with magic.

Chloe: The whole day was absolutely amazing from the moment I opened my eyes. The first thing that happened was Murr appearing in my room!

Chloe: He yelled, “Wake up! Wake up! You can’t waste even a second ‘cause your birthday party starts right meow!” and whisked me away.

Akira: Ahaha, that sounds exciting.

Chloe: Right!? Oh speaking of, Shylock’s event really got the crowd going too!

Akira: “Chloe’s Best Designs Rankings” right?

Akira: He listed off all of his favorite outfits, but concluded that they were all number one in the end since every outfit was so amazing.

Chloe: He did, didn’t he… Ehehe, that was so nice!

Chloe: Then, after the party ended, Rustica performed a concert for me. It was just the two of us in the courtyard at midnight.

Akira: Wow, that sounds like a wonderful gift! What kind of song did he play?

Chloe: …He said it was a song wishing for my life to be filled with happiness now and into the future.

Chloe: I was so touched by his warmth and kindness. Just hearing it made my heart feel full.

Possibly How It Should Have Been

Gosh, I've just thought about it sometimes, as I'm largely trying to turn my creative focus onto something more enjoyable than ML (hence less writing for ML fics), but sometimes I just can't help but focus on it. Cause it's a great concept and it's butchered and that bothers me so much.

And there's SO MUCH that could've been done to improve it. Some of which could be easy tweaks. Some of which needs massive overhauling. Some of it is just picking a lane, staying in that lane, and you follow the road to progress.

It's a great concept with a LOT of possibilities and ways it could've been done. I've actually thought about possible ML Rewrites a few times, I even reached out to a friend to try and help develop a Rewrite that we could've collabed on cause I was struggling to much to decide, and we both just got stuck cause there's so many options for characters and what could possibly be done as we could see so many pros for each option.

And of course, part of the pondering that came to my mind was seeing promising improvement with kwami swaps.

Like, Marinette and Adrien may have developed better if they had each other's miraculous. Plagg could've been the ideal foil to Marinette as he's the opposite of her in every way, addressing her overworking herself, prioritizing others over herself, and caring so much about her responsibilities that it just weighs and stresses her out. And with Adrien and Tikki, she could've helped him develop as an actual, step up in responsibility, learn to take on duty, to care about others over himself. She also would've helped him get the plot rolling, as Adrien is a stagnant character but Tikki is not. She's going to get him involved into the Agreste plot whether he wants it or not, and in turn, he's going to get Tikki to learn to be more attentive and considerate of her holders cause things can go south for Adrien very quickly if she pushes too much.

Gosh, another great kwami swap that could've been done that could've improved a lot was switching up who are the leads. I always wondered if Tikki and Plagg TRULY would've picked Marinette and Adrien, also if they were even the right picks now that we know that Fu doesn't know everything and is running on limited knowledge. As far as we know, they ARE the wrong picks for these two. And considering there was an ep of Tikki and Plagg picking their own users, I now wonder if Alya and Nino should've been our actual leads.

How Alya was initially as Scarabella screams to me that it would've better served in the Origins as a starting hero. Alya also has promising potential arcs as a starting hero, especially as being a superhero is her living her dream:

There's the struggle of balancing her civilian and hero life, she can learn that the civilian life is just as important.

She can learn that being a hero isn't all glory and isn't always easy.

She can learn the importance of secrecy, and what happens if she exposes herself to the public or to a friend (probably Marinette).

And a lot of the lessons Tikki is involved with would make more sense with Alya, who does get tunnel vision and isn't good at listening to others and isn't so considerate and can be very pushy with her own agenda. Alya naturally aims for the leadership position and Tikki wants her Ladybugs to be leaders, so Tikki can help guide Alya to improve as a leader. Lastly, Alya will challenge Tikki on her call outs, which could at certain points help established that Tikki isn't always right and is open to learn and adapt too. And Alya could busy herself looking into HM, making her theories and being nosy about his identity, which Tikki would readily be apart of and encourage. Which Alya should've done in the show than recklessly trying to expose the heroes identity to the public and help HM win. Which, if Adrien wasn't a hero, maybe that should have been his role instead, which Gabriel could encourage and Adrien is even more excited cause he thinks his father is taking an interest in what he does which can be some later Adrien angst for you.

With Nino and Plagg, the BIGGEST plus is that it would actually give Nino SOMETHING outside Alya and Adrien. It would've prompt him to get more focus, and based on what's seen, he's 2nd to Marinette in having the most friends, meaning he can be more engaging and present with what happens to his classmates. Plagg also could bring some needed chaos to his life. You can even expand upon what's seen in Horrificatr where Nino can be controlling, strict, and harsh so Plagg can work on that. Nino does have some similarities to Marinette where he does care a lot for his friends and is hardworking, so there's something there to make Plagg a bit of a foil to him. To expand on Nino's role as Alya embraces being the big hero and savior, could even do the fandom popular idea of him getting Guardian training.

With those two taken, this nicely opens up others getting the Five.

Marinette can work with either Bee or Fox. If you want to work off Chloe vs Marinette, it works best if Marinette has the Bee. Though I think Pollen's personality should be overhauled, but if not, at least there's a perk that yes man Pollen going to force Marinette to take initiative and decide things for herself instead of seeking advise from her kwami. And with Fox, that can work off Marinette being a meddler, schemer, being creative, and her more inclined to work from the shadows. There could also be a fun twist to explore with Marinette not liking liars and she has a miraculous tied to deception, plus her and Trixx could've been an interesting pair to see interact, especially if working off what's seen in Sapotis where Trixx is very observant and manipulative, but also a bit of a chaotic gambler (from what I've seen, later seasons seem to ruin Trixx as a character). And of course, Marinette having Fox could work off her vs Lila, you could even dabble in her vs Felix.

Arguably, Chloe MAY grow as Alya and Nino would NOT have been so tolerant of her unlike Marinette and Adrien, so Chloe could've gotten the Bee and actually be a good hero and character for it. But that can also come down to preference and how you want Chloe to go.

Adrien could've gotten the Turtle, which I think could've been one of the best miraculous he could've gotten as he naturally likes to be a protector, and this miraculous works off that while also giving him protection. Wayzz also could've maybe addressed Adrien readily sacrificing himself, help him learn to be more cautious instead of rushing in, or at least think and be smart about how you go forward. There's even a possibility of Adrien having Turtle full time, as Nino could share his suspicions with Fu about Gabriel, so Wayzz could be there as a spy to check things out, which would have Adrien eventually get involved in his own plot, but still allow things to be at a slower pace. And as Wayzz, ideally, seems to be serious and dedicated but also playful and open minded, I think he would be very engaging with Adrien, which in turn could mean that when Adrien needs a call out, he would listen to what Wayzz had to say more (as most of the time Adrien ignores what Plagg says).

As for the leads, both would have an equal neutral involvement in the plot that can explain why things don't resolve quickly (looking at you Adrien who won't even ask questions about the suspicious book your father has). Alya would be a hero and lead for glory and self-righteousness, Nino would be to genuinely help others. Neither would have a super close tie to Gabriel, allowing him to sit under their noses for a while.

Also, gosh, you even could've had a lot of fun with color coded rivals/foils/personal antagonists for Alya and Nino.

If you really wanted to do Alya vs Lila, let Lila actually have the Fox or maybe she bought the Fox in Volpina, and this has Alya and Lila having the miraculous the other is color coded for. She could work off being a hero initially for the wrong reasons, just like Alya who starts for the glory too, as well as integrity vs deception.

Something could also be done between Nino vs Felix, with Nino really color coded for Peacock while Felix is color coded for Cat. Could play off both being ambitious to a fault and being selfish and nosy, but Nino cares more for others vs Felix is more exclusive.

And if expanding to others...

Of course could do Marinette vs Chloe if Marinette has the Bee, Chloe could have the Mouse, which could be funny to see Chloe deal with herself. That might humble her.

As for Adrien... could do him and Max being foils, work off Max getting Horse while largely wearing green, and I think Adrien is most color coded for Horse. Could work off both being perfectionist and could delve into the shared interest of gaming, with Max trying to bring out the competitiveness in Adrien. Could be thinking vs action.

Either way, ML is frustrating cause it's a show with potential and great concepts and it's irritating that it got butchered so. And the most frustrating thing is that there is just so many options to how it could've been done better. And kwami swap wise, these are my top two picks that would've been better.

Hi. I saw your "stud"😄, I like them, good designes! I didn't saw they being named, so just some ideas... and Adrien a bit more....

With Kagami, Maybe could be something with Matagi goesen, since there's a connection with horses

Chloé, I usually see she named Purebreed, wich I feel apropriate, since yeah, kinda "pure" in the mean of being royal, but also thinking highly of hershelf, while in reality, her parents have power.

Well, Adrien....I would suggest colour change too, with the name Gold(en) Stalion. One, colour+animal, but not just that.

Beside Golden being a horse, I feel Adrien also has a gold connection; Golden memories is a term, if I'm cortect, they use for good memories. And Adrien cherises freedom one of the most, so I thing Kaalki would like that in him. Also, his gold colour a nod to her mother's golden locks, who might gave her more freedom than her father... and gold really fits with the white-brown, and Pegabug's wings were golden, so it's an option, I would say... something like this;

Gold mostly just accent, but symbolism behind it:

For the bottom of the boots, it's his horse shooes, again, kinda gold~freedom, and you go anywhere on your foot, and horseshooes protect the hoof, so the animal can go anywhere too, without worries

But for the neck and wrists, I would suggest the white, since it also symbolises clarity, on the wrist he breaks free from his chains, he can go anywhere, and the neck is because his mind is clear, free from his father's influence...

It's a great designe, so I wouldn't change it up much, I just felt by giving it gold you can add symbolism with the colour and it's abscence....

Horse!Kagami is Yabusame (Japanese horseback archery). Horse!Chloe is Chariot but Purebreed sounds really good too! I think I'm gonna use it for dog!Chloe.

That's a good idea, it does look better, but gold isn't in the horse's palette so I kinda can't...

Tycho proudly clutches Coraleye's hand as he parades her around the bar, introducing her to each one of his relatives. She effortlessly charms them and gets to know them on a personal level. Tycho has never been great with this kind of thing; but family is Coraleye's specialty.

Nova: It's so nice to finally meet you. We've heard a lot about you! Lewis: [Takes sip from bottle] Yep. We were actually starting to think Tycho made you up! [Laughter]

Coraleye: What, is he known to make things up or something? Tycho: [Uneasy smile, nervous chuckle] Coraleye: [Giggles] But no, I'm as real as they come. Our relationship started out... a little complicated, I suppose. But I'm hoping to be around a lot more in the future. Right, baby? Tycho: Of course. Nova: [To Tycho] Hopefully she doesn't realize anytime soon she's out of your league... Nova and Tycho have the jokesters family dynamic

Coraleye laughs as she affectionately grabs Nova's arm, and Nova reciprocates the gesture, as if they've known each other for years. Coraleye: We're gonna get along great, I can already see it!

Suddenly, a loud high-pitched blend of sounds erupts from the opposite side of the bar, piercing the eardrums of innocent patrons nearby.

Jill: [Laughter] Buck: Oh boy, looks like the Curious Sisters have arrived!

Coraleye: Oh! Who are those fabulous beings? Nova: [Sigh] That would be my aunt Lola, and my Mom.

18. How do you think they were as a kid? (Like, were they shy, noisy, wild, etc.)

Felix likely was a little daredevil growing up, always getting himself and the other kids in trouble — Gabriel hated him with a passion, bracing himself for the worst whenever he came to visit. Originally, he was also the fun cousin, always trying to cheer up a very serious Adrien through plays and cute little magic tricks. And of course, he would try his best to lose or torment Chloé every time she joined in their games (poor girl pushed him in the sandbox once when they were five and sparked life-long resentment in him).

But over the years, Colt’s abuse became worse and worse and worse, and Felix became increasingly fearful of engaging in even the most innocent activities — until he eventually just shut down. Adrien found himself trying to be the funny one instead, cracking jokes in an effort to make him feel better, but they didn’t land anymore. He knew Colt wasn’t the best father and took the blame for any mistake Felix might have made as often as possible; but of course he had no idea how bad the situation actually was, and he couldn’t protect him behind closed doors.

I also think Felix suffered through hours and hours of Adrien rambling about fairy tale romances and Disney movies, rolling his eyes the entire time. Love is just sooo stupid! Like what, you think you can just bump into the love of your life at a ball and immediately turn your entire life around just to be with them? Preposterous.

24. What do you think is a secret they have that they never told anyone?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Felix hates horses. He’s been bitten and almost stomped to death enough times to know they’re the bullies of the animal kingdom. But horse-riding is the one activity Amelie was able to choose for him, and he wanted to make her proud, so he persevered through gritted teeth and eventually became ridiculously good at it out of spite.

Once the cat is out of the bag, he takes every opportunity possible to complain about them. Especially to Marinette for some reason. He hates that his reputation is forever tied to equestrian activities when he and his girlfriend put together such creative interpretations of Shakespeare’s repertoire! The world just isn’t ready for his talent.
