We shall set up scales of justice for the day of Judgement, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least. And if there be [no more than] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it [to account]: and enough are We to take account.

Verses from 1 Peter [from the Bible] that I used in my poem ”Salvation”:
”³ Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in Heaven for you, ⁵ who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1 Peter 1:3-5)
”In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.” (1 Peter 1:6)
”These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.” (1 Peter 1:7)
”⁸ Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, ⁹ for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” (1 Peter 1:8-9)
”¹³ Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at His coming. ¹⁴ As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. ¹⁵ But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; ¹⁶ for it is written: ’Be holy, because I am Holy.’ ” (1 Peter 1:13-16)
”¹⁷ Since you call on a Father Who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. ¹⁸ For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, ¹⁹ but with the Precious Blood of Christ, a Lamb without blemish or defect.” (1 Peter 1:17-19)
”Through Him you believe in God, Who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him, and so your faith and hope are in God.” (1 Peter 1:21)
”²² Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. ²³ For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” (1 Peter 1:22-23)
”¹ Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. ² Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, ³ now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” (1 Peter 2:1-3)
”⁴ As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— ⁵ you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:4-5)
”For it was written in the Scripture: 'See, I lay a Stone in Zion, a chosen and precious Cornerstone, and the One who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.” (1 Peter 2:6)
”⁹ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him Who called you out of darkness into His Wonderful Light. ¹⁰ Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” (1 Peter 2:9-10)
”¹¹ Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. ¹² Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.” (1 Peter 3:11-12)
”¹⁵ For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. ¹⁶ Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. ¹⁷ Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.” (1 Peter 3:15-17)
”¹⁸ Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. ¹⁹ For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. ²⁰ But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. ²¹ To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His steps.” (1 Peter 3:18-21)
”¹ Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. ² As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. ³ For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. ⁴ They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you. ⁵ But they will have to give account to Him Who is ready to judge the living and the dead. ⁶ For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.” (1 Peter 4:1-6)
”⁷ The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. ⁸ Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. ⁹ Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.” (1 Peter 4:7-9)
”¹⁰ Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. ¹¹ If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 4:10-11)
”¹⁴ If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. ¹⁵ If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. ¹⁶ However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.” (1 Peter 4:14-16)
”So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their Faithful Creator and continue to do good.” (1 Peter 4:19)
”¹ To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: ² Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; ³ not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. ⁴ And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.” (1 Peter 5:1-4)
”⁵ In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” ⁶ Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s Mighty Hand, that He may lift you up in due time. ⁷ Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:5-7)
”⁸ Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. ⁹ Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. ¹⁰ And the God of all grace, Who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” (1 Peter 5:8-10)

"There is no word of god. There has never been a word of god.
Only words of men pretending to speak for a god. And that's a big difference."
Why would a god be limited by human literacy?

FATHERING 1
[1:1 - 1:6]
On the first day, the Gods fell from the sky in a blazing light show. Our ancestors looked on in all the awe their primitive minds were capable of, and decided they were our salvation. [1]
These Gods looked upon our world as holy, and made it their designated resting place. “This is where we will stay to die.” said Eremin, leader of the Gods. [2]
They met first, in the centre of our world. They deemed this also as a holy place. They agreed then that this area shall be a place free of war, free of strife, free of anger – even if we all fell to fighting. [3]
They saw our ancestors, saw their crude nature, saw their undeveloped minds and saw only beauty. They felt our lack of sin and temptation and deemed it only good. [4]
And there they lived in peace, their ethereal and Godly abilities giving them good lives. The younger Gods played amongst the trees and rocks and sand. The older Gods spoke and taught and lead. [5]
They were peaceful, until the Gods became restless. This life of calm was not one they were used to, and they dreamed once more of the chaos of their Home. [6]

Scripture tells us the scribes and Pharisees weren’t mad because of a lack of hygiene but, instead, they were mad because the disciples were “[breaking] the tradition of the elders.”
This is what the ceremonial washings entailed: • Special stone vessels of water were kept because ordinary water might be unclean; • You started by taking at least enough of this water to fill one and one-half egg shells; • Start at the fingers and run down towards your wrist; • Then you cleansed each palm by rubbing the fist of the other hand into it, • Finally, you poured water over your hands again, this time from the wrist towards the fingers.
Before every meal, you were required to do ceremonial washings. According to Matthew Poole: “The Jewish Rabbi Jose saith, ‘He sinneth as much who eateh with unwashen hands, as he that lieth with an harlot.’”
Scripture does not command us to do such ceremonial washings. The scribes and Pharisees were adhering strictly to “tradition” rather than the Law; such tradition took Exodus 30:19 and Exodus 40:12 completely out of context.
In Jewish culture at the time, there was the written Law (Scripture) from God and the oral Law (Talmud) from the Rabbis. The problem is, that most Rabbis would say it would be “a greater offense to teach anything contrary to the voice of the Rabbis than to contradict Scripture itself.” As a prominent Rabbi said, “He who expounds the Scriptures in opposition to the tradition has no share in the world to come.”
Beware of embracing any kind of tradition that is not found in Scripture.

The Tripitaka - Holy book of Buddhism
Introduction
Welcome to the world of Buddhism, where peace and enlightenment are sought after through ancient teachings.
The Tripitaka, also known as the “Three Baskets,” is a religious book that guides millions of Buddhists worldwide.
It contains valuable knowledge about everything from personal conduct to meditation techniques.
Tumblr media
In this blog, we can discover what the Tripitaka is, who wrote it, and why it remains such an essential part of Buddhist tradition today.
Then, Why are you waiting for? Let’s scroll down and learn an amazing one.
What is the Tripitaka?
The Tripitaka is the Buddhist Holy book, also called the “Three Baskets.” It’s a collection of Buddhist teachings, including spiritual beliefs and day-to-day practices.
“Tripitaka” means three baskets, which refers to the physical format in which these scriptures were written on leaves and stored in baskets.
The Tripitaka comprises three parts: Vinaya Pitaka, Sutta Pitaka, and Abhidhamma Pitaka.
Each section covers different aspects of Buddhist philosophy and practice. Vinaya Pitaka deals with ethical conduct and monastic rules, while Sutta Pitika contains discourses on various subjects like meditation techniques, karma theory, etc. Abhidhamma pitika delves into matters related to mental states such as consciousness.
It’s believed that this invaluable collection was compiled several centuries after Buddha passed away by his followers, who memorized his teachings until they could be recorded in writing.
Despite numerous translations over time due to varying dialectic languages spoken during those times, today, the essence remains intact for many Buddhists who still regard it as their ultimate guide towards spiritual awakening.
Conclusion
The Tripitaka is a significant and sacred text in Buddhism. It consists of three baskets – Vinaya Pitaka, Sutta Pitaka, and Abhidhamma Pitaka – essential to understanding Buddhist teachings.
The Tripitaka contains the Three Jewels of Buddhism, the 4 Noble Truths, and the Eightfold Path that guide followers towards enlightenment.
The authorship of the Tripitaka remains uncertain as it was compiled over centuries by various scholars. Still, its significance cannot be denied as it continues to influence millions worldwide today.
Studying the Tripitaka will undoubtedly deepen your knowledge and understanding of Buddhism’s spiritual essence, whether you are a devout Buddhist or merely interested in learning about this faith’s beliefs and practices.
