After not writing in months I'm back writing about Harry Potter and I thought of this while crying.

As far as I know the only thing we know about Filch during the battle of Hogwarts is that only he helped students escape.

So what if in the attempt to survive Filch takes his wand (which he used to practice with in hope of doing magic) to hide he is a squib. As they run Filch and the students encountered a Death Eater who was ready to attack.

Thanks to the fear he felt, Filch automatically moved his hand imitating how the students did when they would practice spells in the halls. His surprise was big when he saw a spell knocking down the Death Eater.

In shock, he stares at his wand without noticing Fred Weasley hiding behind a wall with his wand in hand.

Filch believed he knocked out the Death Eater thanks to his hard studies over the years.

Nobody told Filch about what really happened, being this the last encounter Fred and Filch had before Fred died.

The Gryffindor's Fat lady definitely remembers every single Gryffindors that enters the house. How could she not when every single day they have to go classes or quidditch practice or go basically anywhere.

The password set is just probabaly a silly thing. Youre telling me She's seen every student going in and out especially exam periods and not remembering them?

She definitely would have let a poor 1st year Gryffindor in who has forgotten the passwords.

She definitely would let Hermione in when she forgot the password due to over studying and Oliver when he's devastated after a loss from quidditch

She would let Remus in after a long night of transformation.

She 100% would have let Neville in knowing he wouldnt remember the passwords

She might have mess around abit with the Marauders and Fred and George but during hard times she definitely would let them in without the passwords

Four male blorbos,four Hogwarts Houses

Light Yagami - Ravenclaw (I've seen this fucker being sorted in Gryffindor way too many times,but Light is such a cowardly bitch and way too prone to decieving himself. The Gryffindor in Light is at the very least 90% him emmulating Soichiro,lol).

Soo-Won - Gryffindor (he has all the courage lacking in Light,and doesn't need to tell himself a truckload of lies to keep going).

Peeta Mellark - Hufflepuff (he can fit into Slytherin too,IMO. However,I feel like he's cunning and manipulative in a Hufflepuff way).

Graham Calloway - Slytherin (This shithead ain't a Ravenclaw,CS fandom,he's just Bellum's probable favourite student). A case could be made for Gryffindor,because Gray is often straightforward and bold when getting after stuff he wants/people he likes,but this is still pretty shallow,IMO. He started out as an ambitious young man wanting to make it big in his career,and his true redemption arc - no,brainwashing doesn't count because it has to be out of one's own volition - was basically him wanting to give Carmen's agency back. There was no mention of him deciding to go against VILE because the institution was evil,nor anything like that. Gray started out wanting to be rich,and ended motivated by personal loyalty.

Tomorrow,I'll make one for the girls!

One trope I really fucking hate is that Slytherins are all evil, pureblood supremacist Death Eaters.

If your fic describes Slytherin as a homogenous group of Bad People™, or students in other houses being afraid of all Slytherins equally because they are in Slytherin, or Slytherins altogether not getting invited to parties, I'm gonna nope out of there so fast.

One, it makes zero sense. Why would a boarding school have a house specifically for evil students? If the Sorting Hat can foresee who will be evil, why not use it by the Aurors to lock people up before they have the chance to do the bad deeds? Oh, that's right, because:

Two, human beings (even magical) don't work like that. You are not born evil or kind. You especially can't be sorted with the bad guys at age 11. No I will not elaborate.

Three, it's canonically incorrect and doesn't work with (fan)lore. Slughorn was a Slytherin, who might be a questionable character but is not evil by any means. Andromeda Black, Tonks' mother was in Slytherin. Merlin himself (you know, from Order of Merlin) was a Slytherin.

Hufflepuff-Slytherin friendship is widely accepted fanon so it makes no sense to describe Slytherins as hated by all. Also, Slytherin-ness is not a prerequisite to become a Dark Wizard - consider Peter Pettigrew (Gryffindor) or Quirinus Quirell (Ravenclaw). And while few, we know that Muggle-borns can be sorted into Slytherin.

I'm writing this partly for myself, too. I remember taking the original Pottermore quiz quite a while ago - I was angry and ashamed to get Slytherin, (like many I assume) I really really wanted to be in Gryffindor. You know, like one of the good guys. The heroes.

(I took the quiz again recently, and to my relief: still a Slytherin.)

tl;dr: please stop with the Slytherin slander.
