#i wanna get involved in irl gay scene so bad bc i hateee texting i hate having to remember to open an app if i want to meet people #anyway. going gaytown properly for the first time ever (!) It's June 2023.

I've been searching for a job for 9 months.

The rejections keep coming, mostly without an interview but I've had a few interviews recently...

The rejections really hit hard. And more painfully each time.

In May I made myself a promise that if by my next birthday I'm STILL fuckin unemployed I'm gonna do one of the following:

1. End it all. I've had those kind of thoughts/plans for a decade lol so why not now.

2. Yolo to the end of the world. Somewhat like number 1 except I will get myself a one way ticket to somewhere cool like Thailand or Hawaii or something and do it there.

3. Acquire a sugar daddy... somehow... anyone know a guy?

4. Crowdfund to buy a van so I can live a van life, forage for my food and I guess I'll try to sell art or my body to pay for gas..? Idk. Its gotta be a way to live cheaper. Plus fuck landlords if I can live in a van I can get a dog.

I'm gonna schedule this to post the day after my birthday and I guess if I'm still alive I might reply to it. I really hope shit is going better when this posts.

Ok so I was having a really hard time trying to figure out what went wrong with my SD card while trying to homebrew my wii

My friend figured it out so I'm posting it both for myself and anyone else that gets a No FAT device found! error on Nintendont

My formatting was incorrect, and I say this knowing NOTHING about how it works but here's how I was able to correctly format it and do it again without fail on the same type of card. It is a SanDisk ImageMate, notably the cheapest card at Walmart (hehe)

How I did it:

I used HPUSB to format to FAT32

Then from Windows format the file system to NTFS (default allocation was 4k so I left it) instead of exFAT (which was my default)

Then in guiformat pick 32768 as cluster size

and that's it! It ended up being a really easy solution but I was having SUCH a hard time trying to figure out what to do. I literally don't know what any of this means so if this doesn't help then I'm sorry! but I also cannot help. I also don't know how much the allocation numbers matter. I just know this worked for me and I'm honestly posting this for me because I WILL forget if I ever have to do it again

The robins’ arrested development is fascinating to me on a meta level.

The first child sidekick of the golden age of comics, never meant to be a man, a child for forty years who fought and demanded the right to grow up.

The second robin is slain in his career’s infancy. An unaging symbol of lost innocence because innocence itself was no longer required. Who burst back out of his grave unwillingly, in a man’s body, dragged into adulthood all at once. A child killed twice over.

The third robin, who was comfortable in his place as a child as a sidekick, evicted because someone else needed that spot, only to be wedged back into the box. Not quite a man, but he can’t go back to being a boy either, stuck in the in between.

And the fifth robin, still a child. Destined to grow into an adult role that will never be vacated, and so cannot grow up.
