You sighed at you dimmed the lights. He had to be home soon. You just kept reminding yourself that as you tucked yourself in your warm sheets. You were used to Croc being out late, but tucking yourself into bed was always pretty hard.

Passing out though was a whole other ordeal. And an actual easy one. You worked hard, almost just as hard as your husband, so getting to sleep was nothing and you would always pass out, lights on or off.

Crocodile opened the front door slowly, sighing as he knew you were probably out by now. He wasn't keeping track of time and the moment he looked at the clock, he wanted to slap himself in the face.

He packed up as quickly as he could and came home to darkness. Luckily, he already ate, so he didn't have to worry about that, but damn would it be nice to get a kiss or a hug or anything after such a long day.

He slipped off his shoes and hung up his coat before going upstairs. A sliver of hope came to him when he saw the light on in your bedroom, but that always happened. So when he saw the dim light shining on your sleeping figure, a little bit of disappointment swept over him.

He tried tip toeing around, but failed miserably when he hit his foot on the side of the nightstand, which made an empty glass fall (surprisingly not shattering in the process) and then he hit his head on a bookshelf nearby somehow, which made him again hit the same foot from earlier onto the bed frame.

Crocodile felt like such an idiot and he looked at you with wide eyes.

Somehow you were still asleep.

Until you let out a mumble. "You're such an idiot, Croc."

He turned off the lamp and crawled into bed. "You don't have to tell me twice." he whispered.

But as he wrapped his arms around you, he noticed that you were still fast asleep.

So Internet Historian was one of those YouTubers I just couldn’t get into because something felt off about him even before the plagiarism. Anyway redditors are going over his videos to look for more plagiarism examples and uhhhh. Found a bunch of 14/88 and other such fashy dogwhistles hidden throughout his videos

When hbomberguy mentioned his dashcon video and made the very good point of "I shouldn't judge someone's beliefs based on a rather old video, everyone is allowed to change" and I wholeheartedly agree but... Internet historian still had his video up, which to me is a good indicator that he still agrees with it. If he changed as a person he would have deleted or remade the video, probably didn't delete it because it's a really popular video, you could make the arrangement. But then he showed the type of fans he had on Twitter, and it was pretty clear he hadn't changed

I never seen his videos because only based on the titles I assumed they were pretty generic, I have no interest in youtube videos where it's just someone reading a script (like illuminautii's videos). I was actually wondering this morning about him and thinking that there must be other forms of plagiarism he done... Wasn't expecting nazi dogwhistles though

Heyo! What's the most harrowing helicopter rescue that Sky ever done for the hospital he flies for? Also, does he go to schools to show kids what his job's like?

This sent me on a dive into close calls in a helicopter and I ended up on a website written by flight crews who survived crashes and now I have a new level of anxiety about flying in a helicopter 😂🙃 I’m choosing to be nice to Sky, his most harrowing thing in his civilian job was an engine failure that made him turn the bird around and cancel the call they were going on, they all arrived safely back at the helipad thank you very much. Oof.

His military days, though… 👀

I think his agency does some PR stuff where he’ll fly to a school and let them see the helicopter every once in a while. Let me tell you, though, when he does training with the local agencies it might as well be the same thing because everyone loves to see his fancy loftwing.

he sucks at cooking. he just doesn't know any recipes so he uses box instructions usually. at most he can make his ramen extra fancy with an egg or strips of meat (he doesn't think about veggies).

he loves to eat so he will eat like an entire box of Mac n cheese by himself. most commonly though he will just spend like $50+ on doordash making his own personal mukbang of like 3 burgers 2 chicken sandwiches and a load of fries. or enough fried rice to feed his entire squad.

Caiman grew up to be a handsome young man. Dark hair just like his father and eyes just like his mother. But growing up made him harsher too. His goal was to become a warlord, like his father had formally been, so he toughened up a bit. He was tall and skinny, unlike his father, but he dressed just about the same and even slicked back his hair. Rings covered his fingers and through teenage rebellion, he even started smoking cigarettes.

He was a bit more to himself - his only real friend being the bananagator you and your husband had given him for his birthday so many years ago - but he didn't mind because in the end, he was working now and he would always be working to get his goal, no matter what.

None of the changes of your sweet boy bothered you - though you wish he wouldn't smoke in the house so much. But he definitely was his father's son, that was for sure.

What was bothering you, however, was the burnout you had been experiencing lately. Work had really taken a turn for the worse as you and Croc got older and both of you could barely keep up, especially since you were wanted by the Marines. Running and running without a break, you could barely see how your son was doing anymore.

Finally, you had enough.

"Crocodile, I don't want to live like this anymore." you cried, hiccupping on your own tears. You sat on your bed with your face buried in your hands while Crocodile sat on a chair in front of you.

"Darling," he placed his hand on your back and rubbed in circles. "I know you don't. And I don't either, but right now, we don't have a choice."

Caiman was walking past the door to get some breakfast when he heard your sobs coming from the room. He stopped at the door and peeked in. He didn't know what to do. The old Caiman would've immediately ran to your side, but something in him couldn't do that anymore. So he just watched, trying to hide that he was slightly tearing up from hearing you cry. Now that he thought about it, he had never really seen you cry before.

While Crocodile was comforting you, he looked up and made direct eye contact with Caiman, who jumped back a bit. Croc signaled with his eyes for Caiman to come in, but he shook his head.

Before the boy could dash away, Crocodile shouted, "Hey Caiman?!" And smirked.

Caiman ran off and from the other room yelled back, "Yeah?!"

"Could you bring me a glass of cold water please?!"

Caiman groaned under his breath, but reluctantly called back, "Yeah!"

A few minutes later, Caiman came in with a nice glass of cold water and Crocodile pulled up a chair for him. He handed you the water and you thanked him, sniffling.

As you were taking a couple of sips, Crocodile leaned down to Caiman's ear and whispered, "I'm going to clean your mother's work-space so she doesn't feel overloaded. Comfort her, okay?"

"But I don't know how to do that!" he whispered back.

"Make her something to eat. Ask her how she is. You know exactly what to do, Caiman, but you're just too scared to do it. Nothing makes a warlord like a gentleman, okay?"

Caiman just nodded and watched his father walk out of the room. He took a deep breath and ran his hands down his face.

You looked over at your son and went to apologize for crying, but he stopped you.

"What's wrong, mom?" he asked, wrapping a blanket over your shoulders.

"Just a lot going on," you chuckled, wiping your own tears. "Being out on the seas isn't easy."

"Yeah, I know." he laughed.

"Are you sure you're prepared to live like this?" you asked.

"Of course I am. And I am more than willing to help, mom. I don't want you or dad to be stressed out. Just let me know if you need anything. I can't become a warlord without you guys. We're family. I need you."

You teared up. Your son had grown up to be so beautiful.

"Thank you, Caiman." you said, pulling him into your arms.

"Do you want something to eat?" he asked, standing up.

"That sounds wonderful, baby."

He pressed a kiss to your forehead and told you that he loved you all while his father watched with a proud smile through the crack of the door.

You both raised an amazing young man who was bound to do great things, you just knew it.

ohmygod getting Annie at the barricade would be a BATTLE. or just even in the pit. matty would be so terrified that his baby was going to get squished or pushed, or a beer split on her (this happened to me, and it went down the back of my shirt...)

eventually, he gets convinced and says at some point during the tour that she can give it a go, but only if you're with her. you love being in the pit, and matty gets anxious about it but does love looking out at the crowd and seeing you. but a couple of years later, when you get pregnant, it's a hard no from him lol.

I think you and annie get a little spot by the edge of the barricade and mark is right next to you the whole time. matty had told him in no uncertain terms that he was to stay by yours and Annie's side THE WHOLE TIME if you ever did go in the pit.

I think you and annie plan to go secretly, telling Mark but not letting matty know just so you can see his face on stage. he's midway through looking for somebody to love when he spots you, and you can see the shock in his eyes. he quickly settles when he sees Mark standing next to you both, and he even smiles when Mark picks Annie up to give him a wave.

I don't think he says anything right away, but just before the last couple of songs he says a little something, "you guys having fun tonight?" he pauses for the crowd to scream before continuing, "That's great. my girlfriend and my daughter are in the front row! they're definitely having a great night."

the camera flicks to you and annie and you do a little wave together. the venue erupts in cheers and annie gets a bit shy, burying her head in your neck at all the attention.

"Ah, her first time being embarrassed by her dad, it will happen many more times, I'm sure." matty jokes.

but when he comes off stage he's immediately rushing over to Annie and holding her face in his hands, studying her to make sure she's okay. "you alright peanut? no-one hurt you or anything?"

Annie shakes her head with the biggest grin on her face, "No dad it was awesome!! I wanna be in the pit every show!!"

obviously, matty shoots that down real quick, but he does let her go in every once in a while :)
