What type of pain are you struggling with in life? There exists 3 levels of pain; 1. Outer pain is everything outside of you (things, people, places, situations or circumstances) that you find irritating or frustrating. 2. Inner pain is your (inner critic) doubting your ability to perform in some form or fashion in life. 3. Existential (philosophical) pain is the tension buildup you feel when you stand at a crossroad in life, struggling to decide which road to travel next! Dinner was a hit tonight, and let me tell you it's usually not EVER the case.
I served the brown rice, with roasted sweet potatoes and chicken thighs. I was as delicious as it looked. I forgot to take a picture, aah... it looked amazing. Eli was surprisingly impressed. Shit, I was impressed too.
I cut the potatoes into cubes, drizzled olive oil, thyme, salt and pepper and roasted on 350 for 15 minutes, then flipped them for another 15 minutes.
The chicken thighs, thawed, drizzled with olive oil, thyme, salt, pepper and a dash of pesto. Covered and cooked for 1 hr and 10 minutes.
Omg, it was excellent. Bella isn't a fan of sweet potatoes unfortunately. Not yet at least. I wasnt either for years until recently.
I then blended rice and sweet potatoes for Olivia and she ate it all up. Check me out being all Martha Stewart 🤣

It’s a ghost town here tonight! There is only one other person in the cardio room. . I’ve decided to make some changes and create new habit loops. I wrote it down, said it out loud to a friend and now I share it with you all. I’ve gotten in a habit of grabbing a bottle of wine and snacks on Fridays. It’s not bad, but I’ve created a habit where I destress, celebrate, relax, or decompress at the end of the week. I want to create a new habit for the end of the work week, one where I feel really good about my choices and not become a slug on the couch. To create new habit loops I have the same cue (end of the week decompression) but make a new plan. The new routine is to go the gym and then treat myself to a salad from Chopt! The reward being I feel good getting in some healthy movement AND look forward to a delicious healthy meal I didn’t have to cook! Lol Keep that positive mindset and instead of thinking about what you CAN’T have, think about what you CAN! . If you are looking to change some habits definitely try this out!
