I am re-starting my fitness journey, and what better to motivate me than being a casual (worrying) level of obsessed with svt. So yeah once again no one asked for this but here we are, writing it anyway

10. Could you be best friends with this character?

Oh gosh definitely not, it's like asking if celebrities could be best friends with their fans and I would be that fan worshiping her and having fan pages dedicated to her so definitely not

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

Oh my gosh I actually have a lot hehe

1-One headcanon I have is I think she has a really cute sneeze no matter in what situation, she can't control it and the worst part is it's not expected of her since she's serious most of the time, so she tries not to sneeze in front of people whom she doesn't want to look at her differently, especially enemies, but terribly fails in front of long-term friends and people she sees and visits often like Gauche, Haruto and Kaito.

2-I personally do not believe she's from Spartan City and the idea Mr. Heartland travelled that far from Heartland City to Italy to pick up orphaned children, and Gauche himself says the city they were born in was “terrible” and did not mention Spartan City by name. Even looking at the flashback, just looking at the surroundings it feels the buildings are a bit modernised, more like the outskirts of Heartland City. Gauche and Droite probably travelled to Spartan City due to the Championships being held there and they just travel around living in hotels and don't have a permanent home yet except Heartland City, but I really like the idea of her and Gauche sharing some Italian ancestry and connections to that place I just like the idea of them being Italian since I grew up in Italy. I like to imagine Droite's innate Italian spirit being stereotypically Italian that hates food crimes such as pineapple and fruits on pizza or ruining pasta, she's very defensive of that and even more so after staying in Spartan City in those couple of months. Never show her a Hawaiian pizza ever or she’ll get crazier than how Chris is when he teaches dueling. Haruto found out the hard way and he will never ruin pasta in front of an Italian ever again.

3-Droite is good at many things, but drawing is not one of them. As an orphan who was living in the streets she never really got the practice as a child, and once she was picked up by Mr. Heartland, art wasn't really a big focus in her studies, especially during training. She's insecure about that especially in front of people like Kaito where he needs to make detailed geometry and references in order to build something, she's bad at anything that requires art, whether it is a flower or an architecture. She tries to hide that though.

4-Just as drawing, she's really bad at whistling, she can't whistle for her life, just imagine Haruto trying to teach Droite how to whistle the same he learned from his brother so adorableee 😭💞

5-Droite is incredibly good at board games like chess or Go, she's good at any game that requires and tests one’s ability to think critically and defeat the opponent completely unnoticed, it's just one of those fields where she's almost unbeatable. She's so good that it rivals Chris. She has incredible muscle memory compared to the average and can play chess while blindfolded.

14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.

I think she's a Chic Modernist

with the colour scheme of Barbiecore with the pink, grey, purple and white combination 

I would absolutely love her to wear darker colours since her normal outing dress is too much pink for my taste, she would kill it in black the ones with nets, and outfits with corset!!!

She already wears a huge belt in canon which kind of acts as a corset

I can also imagine her having a light textile dress like this one

in an open field filled with flowers and butterflies near a seashore - this is not too far of as the first one is the same as her regular outing fit if you remove this

And the second photo is similar to her nightgown

I think for Droite the animators wanted to fit her dress to match the colour scheme of her hair but I think she would rock so many other colours than pink, grey, white and purple/violet combination.

two somewhat related things i'm thinking of today:

a post that made the rounds in 2014 or 2015 if my memory is correct, of a mom taking her son home from kindergarten, and he's beaming because he's wearing shoes that are "made of zebras" and those are his favorite animals. mom in the post reports that his classmates loved them as much as he did

the time i bleached my hair several years back, had to wash it out prematurely because it was burning the hell out of my scalp. predictably it turned piss yellow, so i just thought to myself "i'm just going mix the periwinkle and girls night arctic fox and throw it on here because my head is too On Fire to tone this properly. it'll be a normal looking blonde after i wash it a few times". so it was lavender for about a week and a half, and a 60-ish y/o woman at my job commented "oh, i love that color. too bad i'm too old to do something like that 😔"

it comes as no surprise that we do, in fact, live in a society but it's so weird how people often go from "i like this. no further questions." to "i can't do that because..." in terms of personal presentation. it's not even a beauty standards thing, necessarily, just arbitrary social conformity stuff. what's even stranger about it is that it's not exclusive to mainstream things, even alternative styles of presentation are weird and gatekeep-y about aesthetics.

to pull another example, i made a post recently about how it stung a bit that loud neons, pinks, and pastels are being received more favorably because of IG and tiktok barbiecore shit, when my street clothing has looked like this for years and has been met with really polarized reactions. i posted an outfit selfie, and some clown sent me a message like "ugh, that doesn't fit the aesthetic, you know". like, why does it have to fit into a pre-approved template? barring circumstances like work/school dress codes where it's a losing battle to make a fuss, why is stuff like this even worth considering?

how you dress is, like, the epitome of personal decisions that don't harm anyone. go to build a bear in an itachi uchiha cosplay for all i care. in fact, i encourage you to. make the haters and losers as uncomfortable as possible. because, i swear to god, at least a kernel of this resentment stems from being confronted with the realization that they don't have to keep up a certain appearance, but bind themselves to that anyway.

but yeeeeah about that 2023. its been a ~real bad year~ huh, or was it just me? Thought I'd throw up a little end ofthe year wrap up, but have been putting it off because a lot of it sucked.

Between multiple deaths in the family, covid still doing its plaguebearing thing, so much fucking stress, worsening symptoms and endless doctor visits and even worse fatigue thats left me in bed most of each week, im... it seems like i got nothing done.

But it wasnt all bad! I'm trying to think on all the things i did this year (and a LOT of things i acquired this year i did... a lot of retail therapy for the first time in my life really???)

-I cant believe i got to see a Rick Riordan Q&A live, like, it seems like AGES ago but was only this year???? It was a genuine bucket list item for me

-i started drawing again??? And im kinda improving???? Id like to share some of it one day somewhere?? Scary.

-got to dip my toes back into cons again! Only the safe/outdoor ones, but it was nice seeing folks again, despite some drawbacks (like AN being 40°C and witnessing a real stupid truck crash, and Yeti being nothing but stress overall and causing some ~brand new (old) symptoms~)

-I started my new life of cosplaying my own OC's over other things. Being Virtue (my dnd pastel barbiecore nightmare child) was absolutely freeing, i cant wait to make him 7 million new outfits

-especially because i got to do a freaking location shoot at a super cool, very out of the way waterfall, with a reflecting pool. i cant wait to bring so many things there

-also did a waterfall tour of Owen Sound. soooooo many dnd/dragon age/etc shoot ideas

-im also saving up for a few dream dragon age costumes, and its gonna be like uhhhhh.... $500ish worth of scalemail? (for two seperate projects)

-speaking of dragon age, i got alex into inquisition and i've become a nightmare about it again im not sorry

-alex and i went halvsies on thigh high boots that are 100% for my Lavellan, because he's a thot and deserves them

-tell me not to spend another like $150cdn on the official shirts. theyre just. so SOFT. they are a pure sensory joy.

-i bought so many cardigans from independent artists, on preorders. and like none of them are here yet but next falls gonna be 👌👌👌

-i have a lolita problem. got to wear one of my fanciest to the cherry blossoms at the height of my pain flares back in the spring! i now have two new dresses on top of that! there's a third im eyeing right now to go with one of my new cardigans! its a real problem y'all 😂

-but by far my biggest and best decision was i saved up for two solid years and was able to buy myself A FREAKING PS5 without breaking budget at all?????? I'm genuinely proud of myself, this was the exact opposite of an impulse buy??? even got to gift a friend the CoD game that came with it, because i was never gonna touch that lol

Next year better keep up the good things, and no new fucking symptoms. Also, depending on the Yeti news, im not letting myself be that fucking stressed this time around.

Comedy good (like so good, like- truly, I don't say this lightly).

Prop/set & costume departments seemingly had a lot of fun, love that for them

I have my usual broken record thoughts I have abt any woman/patriarchy-centred feminism & transmasc-excluding/-omitting trans inclusion (pls watch my matriarchy & other gender roles videos) (also not to nitpick, obv, cause they sure left themselves a lot of leway in terms of like lore lol but if feet shapes are different by gender/doll type.. and we have a trans barbie.. who seemingly has standard barbie feet shape too (and seemed just as unphasedly grossed out by another barbie having flat feet as the rest of them).......... I'm the teacher standing over you, dear cis ppl, where's your homework? You didn't think that hard about how trans ppl work, did you? Not that that wasn't clear from trans woman rep and neither nb nor transmasc rep as usual)

I appreciate the "men are just silly little guys at the end of the day" conclusion (not the worst of the above category for this, I will forgive the mostly reinforcing the matriarchal status quo of feminism for not demonising them as people) (edit: oh also! As someone who has looked through the men's lib section of my uni's academic library back in the day (one tiny shelf next to the several aisles of feminist lit btw) I call bs on the books Ken found in that school library, there is literally no way you'd find anything pro-patriarchy before you find smth criticising it/the male gender role from either side. But then again, maybe he doesn't even know how to read so----)

Oohhh okay, I would actually love love LOVE to see D.raxum's backstory!! A lot of people have their own speculations on what happened that caused him to do the things he did, and I have my own! But I wonder if the creators of Rise had a backstory planned for him?

The one I made for him is pretty tragic. And it'll definitely play a big part in the story of my ship with him once I get around to writing it out! (Those who you, you know)
