Note
Wait, but what is it about wally in the human au that makes him so weird?? Is it just an ableism thing or does he have like strange habits/interests
mmmm it's a bit of both kinda? more so the latter honestly! i mean by social norms & standards he's already a quirky guy, and i think he'd have a plethora of 'odd' mannerisms & habits on top of that. so yes, he's genuinely strange, but it's up to others to view/treat that as a negative or a positive or a neutral yk yk

𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 | 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐨’𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚
you get embarrassed and miguel won’t let it go —featuring a smug miguel and a pining spider-girl. pre across the spider-verse but contains spoilers. requested here. fem!reader
˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
"This is super, uber bad," Lyla drawls lightly.
Miguel waves an annoyed hand at her, gaze on the orange monitor in front of him. You shift from foot to foot beside him, neck craned to watch in tandem.
"Like, so bad. Maybe you should go help."
"I can't intervene now," Miguel says.
"How come?" you ask, pulling at the tips of your gloves one at a time as you worry, until the whole thing is slipping off and onto the floor.
You make no move to pick it up. Miguel glances down at it, then the screen again before saying, "Because they'll never learn. And because there's too many fingers in the same pie."
"Pie?" you ask.
"You don't want that?" he asks, pointing at your fallen glove.
You blink, pulled back to the present from your stewing anxiety. It's hard seeing people you care about getting their asses handed to them and knowing you can't help.
Miguel rolls his eyes, only half-making fun as he leans down for your glove. You lean at the same time, almost knocking your head into his as your fingers brush. Miguel looks up, suddenly face to face with you. Your breath catches in your throat at the proximity. You can see every dark lash hedging his eyes, feel the fanning of his exhale as it kisses your top lip.
His confusion is obvious. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?”
"Uh– it’s nothing."
His eyes narrow, your heart skips a beat, and while Miguel might not have a spider sense he's still enhanced. He must hear it. Something in his eyes changes, the smallest flicker of amusement relaxing his brow.
You wince and stand up rigidly straight, face to the screen again so he can't see your flustered expression head on. "Nothing."
"Sort of felt like something."
"It's nothing, Miguel."
"That why you forgot this?"
You look down at his offered hand, your glove bunched up in his big palm.
Your lips part of their own accord, any effort you've made to appear unaffected by him, his stature, and his general imposing demeanour now worthless. Too quickly, you snatch the glove from his hand and yank it back over your fingers, your pinky bending uncomfortably from the sheer force of it.
"It's nothing," Miguel repeats without inflection, though he crosses his arms and chuckles a second later.
You squirm beside him. "I– I'm distracted."
"I can tell. Something caught your eye?"
The urge to cover your face with both hands reaches an all time high. You settle for covering one flushed cheek. "Nothing interesting."
"No? Well, we can change that."
"Would you stop?" you ask, trying to sound furious but definitely bordering pleading.
"I'm not doing anything. Nothing happened."
"I wouldn't take that, if it were me," Lyla chimes in.
"Good thing it's not you," Miguel says.
Things are quiet for a while. Miguel refocuses on the fight unfolding on screen, and you try to calm your beating heart. The embarrassment refuses to wane, your pulse too stubborn to slow, and eventually Miguel must take pity on you, leaning toward you with arms crossed over his chest. "It wasn't that bad," he says.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"I'm trying to make you feel better."
"You– I– you were so close to me, I got nervous, it– it has nothing to do with you."
Miguel raises his eyebrows. "Oh, okay." He straightens up. "Nothing to do with me. You know I can hear your heart, right?"
"Wow. Is that unique to you?" you ask scathingly, knowing every Spider in the whole headquarters can likely hear the drum of your heart right now.
You know he's teasing because he finally managed to catch you in a moment of awkwardness rather than the other way around, and because he's an asshole —you think that part hard, hoping his enhanced hearing has improved to include telepathy. Like he can tell, he grins, and he nods at nothing in particular.
"Don't worry, Spider-Girl. I won't hold it against you."
"Generous," you say.
His voice drops to a rough, lilting murmur, "People have said that about me. Tall, handsome, generous." It's impossible to miss the implication.
Your heart rockets and you have to turn away from him entirely to maintain any dignity you have left.
"You know what else they say?" Lyla asks. "That he's a smug, tightly wound control freak who's too busy being a bad sport, totally missing Jess' call for backup."
"What?" Miguel asks, all smoothness dropped from his voice. "Respond!"
"Say sorry to Y/N."
"Lyla!"
"Say sorry–"
"I'm sorry," he says to you. You're happy to find genuine apology in his gaze, if only for a second. "Lyla, respond."
"Already did."
Miguel gets so immediately angry that his head tips back and his eyes screw closed, grunting his dissatisfaction. You send Lyla a grateful smile, smothering a wave of laughs with your gloved hand.
"Don't worry, Miguel," you say cheerfully. "I won't hold it against you."
"...Thank you."

Crazy idea for toxic husband simon? Lets send them to couples counselling >:]
hehe i love this idea! sorry this took so long i pondered over how to write it, but i like how it turned out! these two deserve a brief reprieve from all the angst so enjoy this little glimmer of hope <3
“i still don’t think we need to do this, love”
“so, you’ve said. can you please just go get the kids ready to leave, im not finished getting ready.” you mentally count down from ten while leaning over the bathroom sink attempting to finish up your makeup. you know by the time you hit ten, simon will have volleyed back some comment you’re in no mood to hear.
“’s therapy, not a fashion show. dont even get why you’re getting dolled up anyway.” he’s unbelievably predictable.
you roll your eyes and stare pointedly in his direction. “you know if you’re trying to convince me you still love me, you should try just saying ‘wow babe you look beautiful, of course i’ll get the kids ready’.” simon squints his eyes at you as if he’s actually considering what you’re saying, huffs, and stalks off in the direction of your daughters’ room.
maybe your husband(?) was right, this does feel stupid. you two are sitting in a far too stuffy room with plain decorations, on a too-plush couch that makes you sink further with every movement. you don't even realize the therapist is asking you something until simon places a hand on your bouncing knee, stilling it to catch your attention. your heart shouldn’t stutter at the small display of affection, but simon hadn’t touched you in so long the touch melted the icy feelings you had towards him.
the session goes far better than you had expected. you didn’t think simon would open up much, but he was a lot more willing to admit his faults than you figured he’d be. you couldn’t help but stare at him incredulously, where was this man when you two were at home? when you were begging and pleading for help with literally any and everything? a part of you starts to feel bad when simon’s revealing his feelings of depression and worthlessness, not that you’re giving him a pass for the years of transgression, but once upon a time he was your soulmate and your heartbreaks knowing he was in so much pain.
maybe you didn’t see it because you were blinded by rage, or because you were so exhausted day in and day out, you didn’t have time to think of anything other than being a mom. you both come to the realization, with the therapist’s help of course, that you were both so eager to rush into life that you never stopped to consider what that would actually look like. you wanted a baby so badly that even when things started to snowball into madness you two convinced yourselves that this was just the way it was and that it had to be worth it somehow.
as you’re both walking back to the car, you leave feeling a whole lot lighter than when you went in. sure no major hurdles were cleared. you weren’t sure when you’d be able to kiss and love on your husband again without being confronted with everything he wasn’t doing, but you two are going to take it slow and learn to listen to each other. give and take. push and pull. as you slide into the passenger seat, simon tugs gently at one of your hands and interlocks his fingers with yours.
“i know i can’t take back the past, but i’m serious about changing. i want to be better for you, for us, and for our girls.”
you’re not sure what you had expected him to say, but his words have your breath caught in your throat. you distinctly remember a time when he promised he would be good to you, and he failed. you wanted to badly to believe him now, hearing the sincerity in his voice. warring between what the angry part of you wants to say and what the hopeful part of you wants to say, you land on a simple response of “okay”
“okay?”
“yes, okay. i’m not ready to forgive you yet and i don’t know when i ever will be. but i am saying that i will try.” his eyes lock with yours and you can see the emotion brewing in them, he doesn’t offer any words back. he simply squeezes your hand three times in quick succession. i love you. maybe just maybe things will work out this time.

Michael Kaiser, Alexis Ness — Fanned Out
PAIRING: Michael Kaiser/Reader/Alexis Ness WORD COUNT: 2.1k TYPE: Humor, Bad flirting (it's getting worse somehow) NOTE(S): This happens directly after Dog Walking. Another one shot with this reader character is Wardrobe Malfunction (U don't need to read either to know what's going on)
You thought after Ness gave you that sermon earlier, trying to indoctrinate you into the Kaiser cult or whatever, the topic would be over and done with. But no, he’s still going. You wonder how he can go on and on, and on, and on, and on about something so worthless.
Maybe you’re becoming a part of the problem, though, and this isn’t a notion that occurs to you often. You’re sitting next to Kaiser of your own volition, after all, leaving you between them while Ness lectures you from the other side.
In your defense, your plan seemed like it would have a high chance of success. You assumed for sure Ness would be too embarrassed to keep talking about that stuff right in front of Kaiser, and here you are, wrong.
Kaiser also appears to still be half-asleep or something because he’s just picking at his breakfast without paying any heed to either of you. His movements are sluggish and he’s unresponsive, which makes his company about fifteen times more pleasant than it usually is.
“I mean, it’s just- How dare you take Kaiser’s first kiss so carelessly?! If you’re going to do that, it’s at least worth a confession.”
Your abrupt laughter results in you choking on your food and sends you into a severe coughing fit, to the point you’re slapping the table with too much force and gasping for breath. You knew it. This man is going to put you in the dirt.
It takes Kaiser precisely two blinks to register what Ness just blurted out, and it does a great job of shaking the drowsiness out of his system. The two of them are ignoring you as if you’re not on the brink of asphyxiating, and Kaiser seethes, “Ness, you shithead! Just because I fucking tell you something doesn’t mean you need to announce it to the world. What the hell?”
“Sorry, Kaiser,” Ness says, flinching. Apparently he has ordained that your offenses haven’t yet stacked up to deserving the death penalty, though, because he takes mercy on you and smacks you on the back until you spit out whatever got stuck in your throat.
Kaiser stares at you as if your hacking was in some way inconvenient to him. Ness is still babbling, muttering apologies both of your ways (though the ones directed at Kaiser are, of course, more fussy).
Despite the post-almost dying haze, you speak in your typical derisive fashion, “You can’t be serious? That was your first kiss? That’s just pathetic.” For good measure, you add in another cackle at the end.
“It’s not like I’ve never had the opportunity to kiss anyone,” justifies Kaiser. What to make this sentence any sadder than Ness nodding in agreement in the background, like he feels the need to provide some kind of confirmation? “I don’t care about useless gestures like this. How many people have you kissed before, anyway, huh?”
“A profitable amount.” You shrug.
“What does that even mean,” Ness asks in the most incurious tone possible.
“Honestly a little disappointing you’d waste your time on stupid shit instead of giving football your all. I expected better from you.”
Wow, leave it to Kaiser to try and make you look like a loser for this. You kind of respect the move, but you won’t admit it to his face.
“I guess it’s a little wild I have experiences outside of football. Wanna know what’s wilder, though?”
“No. Talk to the-”
“How quick you folded even though you’ve never done it before. That's crazy.” Kaiser rolls his eyes, but it doesn’t discourage you from continuing, “Don’t worry, I don’t blame you. I tend to have this effect on people.”
“Shut up! Kaiser is not easy.”
“You’re such an embarrassment,” Kaiser says, looking at Ness with a very pronounced lack of amusement.
He is about to apologize again — what is he even sorry for? existing? — but this brings your attention back to him, and you swing an arm around his shoulders with a look of intrigue. “You seem like the kinda guy who's never kissed anyone before either. Want me to remedy that for you, too?”
“N-No! Why would you even want to do that with me? You’re sick.” With these final words, Ness proceeds to… hop out of his seat and run off to a different table. Overkill much? Does he have no self esteem at all?
You stare incredulously at the spot he was previously sitting in along with Kaiser, and then you turn to look at each other with a vague sense of confusion as if you’re both unsure you actually witnessed this happen.
“So,” Kaiser begins, fumbling around his food with his fork in a manner he probably considers nonchalant, “if you didn’t notice it was my first time kissing someone, that means it was good and you liked it.”
You smile at him. “With how skilled you are at jumping to conclusions, you should consider a career change to obstacle course racing. Would you like a performance review? Constructive criticism? A rating from one to ten?”
In an impressive show of restraint, Kaiser doesn’t throw any of the bowls in your face.
___
Kaiser has been staring at himself in the mirror for more than thirty minutes with a thoughtless smile on his face.
You’re getting this estimate from the fact he was doing this when you first walked in, and the shit you were taking was on the tougher side, and now you’re done and he’s still at it. He does this nonsense every morning, though, so you’re about to leave him alone… until an idea crosses your mind.
You approach, your reflection coming closer and closer ominously. “Kaiser.”
“Go away. You’re interrupting me,” he says, despite not doing anything you can see at all.
“Hear me out for a second. You can go back to psychotically talking to yourself after.”
“I wasn’t ‘psychotically talking to myself.’”
“Really? Because it looked to me like you were giving yourself a motivational speech in your head.”
“What the fuck do you want? Just get on with it. I don’t have time for this.”
“Clumsy topic segue. But anyway, I’ve been feeling kind of bad about the stuff with the kiss.” Just the mention of it is enough to make him pull an annoyed expression, but you disregard it. “I wanna do something nice for you.”
He looks at you in a way someone who just swallowed an entire lemon, with the exocarp and all, might — weird, but unmistakably thrown off and irked. In a sarcastic tone, he asks, “Why would you want to do something nice for me? Since when are you such a good samaritan?”
You turn around and pull yourself up over the vanity, unfazed by his attitude. “Let me do your eyeliner thing for you.”
…?
It is obvious you have an ulterior motive here. Kaiser’s eyes dart between you and the make-up appliance. He only has his curiosity to blame when he hands it over to you after a while of paranoid scrutiny.
You lean in and push his hair aside with your fingers, using your other hand to draw the usual wing under his waterline. Despite the lack of suspicious or otherwise unusual movements on your end, Kaiser is tense. Nothing sinister is happening and it’s weirding him out.
You finish and switch to the other one. This is unsettling. A sense of foreboding looms over him, and though you’re being prompt about it, the process seems long and arduous in his mind.
Once you’re done, in one swift motion — as if you’ve practiced before — you press the tip of the pen against his forehead and scrawl something, before backing off and beaming at him with smug satisfaction. It all happens so quickly, he doesn’t react with more than a blink at first.
Kaiser’s brows furrow and he glances at himself in the mirror, confirming the unthinkable. “Did you just sign my fucking forehead?”
“For my biggest fan.”
“I’m not your fan. Get over yourself. You’re not Drake.”
“I figured it was fair you’d get my first ever autograph, since I got your first kiss.”
“Go to hell and burn while you’re at it! I have to clean this now.”
“Why would you clean it?” you ask. What kind of moron are you, Kaiser wonders. “I think you should get it tattooed. It costs millions, you know? In fact, you should show it off in front of the others.”
“Please. Whatever I wipe myself with would cost ten times more than your signature ever will.”
“If it helps you sleep at night, Kaiser,” you relent, still coming off as very pleased with yourself, which makes this whole thing more annoying than it needs to be. Though he looks like he’s about to bite your face off, you invade his personal space even further and inch closer, your nose almost brushing against his. “You can say anything you want. Doesn’t change the fact that you’re my little bitch.”
“Stop calling me that! What’s wrong with you?!” he fumes, reaching to grip your waist and attempting to push you off the countertop.
You almost fall despite resisting, too, but you throw the eyeliner at his face, and it creates enough of a diversion for you to slide down without accident. You’re at the door by the time you turn around to address him again. “I have to admit, the elephantine size of your forehead is what really made this possible for me. Thank you for this opportunity.”
Ele- ele-what?
He clenches his fists, grits his teeth, on the cusp of a hypertension headache. You’re so going to get it! Kaiser doesn’t know yet how he will go about hiring a hitman to kill you while you’re both still stuck in Blue Lock, but Ness is here, which means murder isn’t entirely off the table.
___
Kaiser relays the story of your little bathroom encounter to Ness with the seriousness and urgency of a kidnapper laying down ransom demands. Another person’s name on his- his- his… royal but not at all big forehead, it’s sacrilegious. He’s getting pissed off all over again thinking about it.
Of course, Ness, too, treats the matter as deserving of the gravity Kaiser is giving it. “Don’t worry,” he says. But Kaiser isn’t worried. He is bloodthirsty. “There’s only one way to deal with inflated balloon heads like that. I’ll take care of it.”
“How? You know something I don’t?”
With his usual guileless smile on his face — reminiscent of a frog — Ness leads the way and, in an uncharacteristically confident manner, promises you ‘will be very embarrassed.’
By now Kaiser is following him just because he wants to see whatever is about to go down. It doesn’t take them long to cross the field and reach you.
You’re bouncing a ball on your foot, and once you notice them, you wave with grandiosity. “Hello, numbskulls. Did you come closer so you can admire me better?”
Kaiser doesn’t even know where to begin with this statement, but Ness spares him the effort because without any hesitation, he says, “Yes.”
Snapping his head to stare at him with offense, Kaiser now has to wonder if Ness was the real maniac all along.
You seem to share similar sentiments because your eye twitches and remains stuck half open after. The ball rolls away when you fail to catch it. “What- huh? Huuuuh? You’re just gonna agree with me?”
“Yes. You’re an amazing player with exceptional abilities,” Ness says pleasantly. Candidly. “Not to mention how clever you are. You’re also really good at thinking on the spot. I don’t just mean on the field, but in general, too. Your wit is impressive.”
These compliments are way too upfront and honest. A chill goes down your spine and you gape at him, disturbed. Then your expression morphs into something more awkward — nonplussed, maybe, nervous in some manner — and you say, “I-I don’t know what game you’re playing, but I don’t like it.”
Probably realizing your usual poise is ebbing away, you grimace, cover your face with your forearm as if you are doing a bad job of shielding yourself from imaginary sunlight and pivot around before sprinting away from them at max speed while screaming something incoherent in terror.
“What?” Kaiser yells, gesturing at your fleeing figure. “What’s with that reaction?! No way? What? Over a few nice words? What the hell? What!”
As usual, Ness’s appearance is innocent enough, but there’s a certain glint in his eyes now, like he’s hungry for more power. “Kaiser… Kaiser, I… I did it!”
Kaiser considers making a getaway, but he already saw how unbecoming it is.
___
Oh I know you guysare sick of me...
My sheltered no life experiences outside of kicking a ball Kaiser agenda. With the way he acts I wouldnt be surprised if his mother didnt hold him after giving birth to him

A Pathetic Crush, William Afton x afab Reader
Confessing your feelings for your boss didn't turn out as good as you expected, or did it?
Minors DNI. TW: smut, verbal abuse, noncon/manipulation, SA, implied age-gap, generally not a good time for the reader. Reader is assumed to be 18+
You wait outside his office door, heart beating in your throat. Today is the day, you're finally going to reveal your feelings for your boss. Over the last couple of months you seem to have gotten pretty close to him, even making him laugh a couple of times. He always seemed like such a sweetheart, always kind and considerate towards you.
Late for work because somebody hit your car? "No worries love", have to call in sick last minute? "That's alright darling, I can find someone to cover for you." The pet names were a huge plus, especially with his accent. He never seemed to use them with any of your coworkers either. Maybe he feels something special for you as well?
A few moments pass, could he have not heard your knocking? He is always so busy, you pray you aren't bothering him. You raise your hand to knock again when the door opens.
"Oh hello love, come in, come in."
He gestures you inside before closing the door behind him. You turn to face him. He smiles sweetly and tilts his head.
"What brings you to my office darling?" He asks.
You can feel your pulse quicken.
"Well, honestly Mr. Afton I have something to tell you." You answer.
Your hands are clasped in front of your chest, your fingers turning white from being held so tight. This is your big moment, you finally get to say it.
"Well get on with it doll." He says.
You clear your throat.
"Look I really don't know how to say this, I have been trying to tell you for months now, but I have feelings for you."
His smile remains plastered across his face, but his eyes gain an intensity to them.
"Wow, you really think I'd go out with someone as worthless as you? You're barely worth a quick fuck."
You freeze, tears forming in the corner of your eyes. How could he say something like that? You thought you were friends, maybe something more. You hic, trying to suppress the tears that are now rolling down your cheeks. Who is this man?
"I.. am sorry?" You ask.
"Oh don't be sorry, I'm just surprised you had the gall to actually vocalize your feelings."
You look around, trying to find a way out of this situation, but his tall figure is blocking the only exit.
"I, uh... I don't know what to say."
He chuckles and shakes his head.
"Show me how much you want me darling, don't make me fire you now. I know you really need this job."
What? He's right, but how could he be doing this to you right now?
"Are you daft? Did you not hear me? Get on your fucking knees and beg."
The sudden raising of his voice scared you. Not knowing what to do, you drop to your knees.
"Good bunny. Now, beg."
You look down at the ground. Are you really going to beg? Of course you are, what else could you do?
"I... please.. I like you.. please."
His hand grabs your face, tilting it up towards him.
"Eyes on me love, and try a little harder. Gotta' stay employed right?"
You look up at him. His face twisted into a wicked grin staring down at you. You can feel how erect he is through the thin fabric of his pants.
"Please, I want you... to fuck me.. please."
He groans, petting your head with his hand. It feels so good to please him. You feel your panties becoming wet with slick.
"Mmm, good bunny... say more for me.""
"I.. I want to suck your cock... please... I'll do a good job."
You swallow hard. A mix of embarrassment and pleasure swirls within you. He lets go of your head and unzips his pants. He pulls down his underwear and lets out his fully erect cock. The tip is already wet with precum. The light from the window glistens on it.
"Go on then."
You pause and he smacks you with his erection.
"I said suck. You wanted this right? You little whore."
You place your hand on his cock and begin stroking. You part your lips and slide his member into your mouth. Tongue caressing his head, you notice how salty and warm he tastes. He tastes so good, you let out a small moan.
"You're so pathetic, you can't even suck dick right. Let me show you how to do it."
He grabs the sides of your head before forcing his cock further into your throat, making you gag and jolt. He's so massive, you aren't even sure how you're doing this right now. You feel the tip of his member hit the back of your throat, causing it to tighten. He groans and moans as he thrusts into you.
"God yes... good, fucking, bunny... mmmphh."
His hips smash into your lips over and over. The sound of slapping and the smell of sweat, hormones, and humidity fills the room. At first you remain tense. Part of you wishes to resist him, but eventually you relax and give in. It feels so wrong, but so good. You wish you could stay like this forever. Pleasing him feels wonderful, like you were made to bring him pleasure. You feel like he has broken you somehow, used your libido against you. Made you truly his one and only toy.
"Good, just relax. You're loving this aren't you? Pathetic slut, moaning on my cock."
His grunts intensify. He thrusts faster and faster with each sound he makes. You taste a large warm salty release as his seed begins spilling down your throat.
"Swallow, all of it."
You do as he asks and savor each drop. Your throat, freshly fucked raw, greedily takes his cum. His cock throbs inside you.
Once satisfied, he pulls out of you. Your jaw hurts and misses his absence. He lets out a huff.
"Now, I want you to listen to me very carefully okay? I expect you to be in my office after your shift every week, without panties, ready for me to fuck the life out of you. Understand?"
You nod. Feeling happy and full of him, you finally got what you wanted.

Some Hashira’s having a crush on a Nagito Komaeda like reader
Characters;Shinobu, Rengoku, Mitsuri
Warnings; Angst, Death, Suicidal Implications, Light Possessiveness
Shinobu:
Tumblr media
She’s your therapist, your personal doctor.
When she first caught feelings, she actually thought it was just her worrying about your mental health.
When she found out it was a crush she’s shocked, why did she like you? Was it the unending praises you showered her with? Your good looks? Your quite raspy voice?
Overtime she fell harder and really tried to help you with your mental health issues, to say the least, it was worthless, your self-esteem and respect was practically nonexistent.
She also refuses to let you touch or help her in poison making, because Fucking Obviously.
Despite this you know a surprising amount of poison, which is concerning due to your M.H.
She does love when you talk about hope, and tried to use that as a catalyst to raise your self worth.
She is slightly annoyed at how you drool about tanjirou and how you love him for his hope (No pedo shit!) but she loves how passionate you sound.
She finds it interesting and unsettling how you call zenitsu useless and worthless, it’s her first time seeing you hate someone more than demons or yourself.
Every time someone insults you, and you agree with them she insults them harder, she’d go for anything their insecure about, that she somehow already knows about.
She’s very protective of you, despite your supernaturally good luck.
If you die she would be completely heartbroken and vengeful towards every demon, especially Douma and the one who killed you.
She would feel so pathetic that she couldn’t confess to you.
If she did confess you’d say something like “Ah, to be lied to by someone as you is such an honor for someone as worthless as me”
She tries to convince you that her feelings are real but you don’t believe her, always saying “Your so kind to tell me such a lie!” Or “Ah, I... I truly appreciate your affection towards me, but I must decline. You see, I'm just a lowly speck of misfortune in this grand tapestry of life. It would be unfair to burden you with my peculiarities and the chaos that seems to follow my every step”
She’s too persistent and stubborn though, she’s strong enough to take anything you say or do, but it’s futile.
When she dies for Douma you feel genuine sadness, you knew she cared for you too some degree “I’m sorry, someone as worthless as me should’ve taken her place” you’d say before moving on.
Her cherished memory of you is when she reveled to you that she’s extremely weak and can’t cut off a demons head and your response “Wow! Your so weak but you managed to find a way to kill demons despite your weakness in strength!! Your so smart Shinobu! I promise to become a stepping stone to the hope you can achieve!!” Okay she hated the last bit, but it’s the thought that counts.
Rengoku:
Tumblr media
He is very worried for you.
You find yourself completely unworthy of his sheer presence, his overwhelming positivity and hope you just can’t compete.
When he finds out he has a crush on you, he doesn’t question it, he follows his heart and helps you out.
Every insult you say to yourself he’d object with a positive remark. “Someone like me shouldn’t have become a hashira” “You became a hashira even when you don’t have a breathing style! Your nothing short of admirable and amazing! You have every demon slayers respect!!”
He always invites you to group activities, and you decline every time. So he drags you to the events.
He’s pretty much around you 24/7
When he wakes up, he sends his crow to wake your ass up.
When he’s off on a mission he asks Kagyga to watch over you, and over course he accepts.
When you praise him, he praises you, then you either degrade yourself and Rengoku objects with positivity, or you try to praise him harder, it then turns into a ‘Praise Battle’
He loves it when you talk positively about tanjirou, not so much when you talk bad about Zenitsu.
When he dies from akaza, you say “I won’t let him die in despair. He’s death will simply be a catalyst for the ultimate hope!”
He keeps confessing to you, despite you rejecting him due to your self worth problems.
Mitsuri
Tumblr media
She is extremely worried for you, why would someone say such things about themselves? Especially when you became a hashira in a month and while having no breathing style, shouldn’t you be proud?
Everytime She turns completely red when you shower her with praise, which also interest her in you even more.
She can’t really talk much until you praise her and she malfunctions.
She admires you and even agrees about you idolization of hope, which makes you like her even more.
She always invites you to hang out with her and Iguro or any Hashira activities, you deny everytime.
When she finds out about her crush on you she malfunctions for days, she likes Iguro AND you, how could she choose? Did she need to choose?
She ask’s Kagyga for help, and whoever your close with.
Now she pretty much begs you to hang out with her and Iguro. Overtime Iguro sees and different side of you and thinks your tolerable, but he’s still annoyed that it can’t be him and Mitsuri alone.
She isn’t going to confess anytime soon, she’s too shy and insecure about herself to do so.

“Yeah Katsuki! Show her what you can do!” A boy encourages as he and another friend watch the blonde blasting explosions at a girl with H/C hair. “Stop! Please!!” The girl begged but the boy wouldn’t stop. “Look at her! Such bad luck.” A boy laughed, “HAHA!! Like a jinx! Hey- Let’s give her a new nickname!” The other said. “Heh, Jinx? I like that nickname.” The blonde smirked, grabbing the girl’s hair to face him. “Your name is Jinx, alright? You have such bad luck, you’re probably the reason why you’re an orphan. I think Jinx fits you well.” The boy smirked, the girl was scared, unable to say anything. “She accepted it so easily! How pathetic!!” The brunette boy laughed, the other joining in beating her up.
Suddenly there was a voice that got the bullies attention, “Hey!! Stop bullying her!” The blonde, Katsuki, turned around to see his childhood “friend” Izuku. “Deku! You want a beating too?” He asked with a grin. “If you don’t stop! I’ll- I’ll tell on you!” The timid boy stuttered. “Tch, c’mon Katsuki.” One of them said, Katsuki scoffed before kicking the girl one more time and walked away with his gang.
The boy quickly ran towards the beaten up girl, asking her if she was okay in a panicked voice. "Do you need to go to the nurse??" He asked but to no response, the girl just looked at the ground with a blank face, as if she accepted her fate. That she was nothing but a jinx.
Everyday for the past middle school years, she has been bullied by Katsuki Bakugou and his gang after they learned that she was an orphan. She was beaten up, called a jinx, always having bad luck following her. Even worse, she started to have mental issues, always being seen talking to herself or having a panicked look in her eyes. She practically accepted her fate, getting bullied and having bad luck following her.
Her orphanage tried to get the treatment she needed but to no avail, she was just.. unable to be fixed. She suddenly began to have breakdowns in class, but no one helped. Everyone simply viewed her as a freak. It was just a matter of time before she was taken out of school. Bakugou and his gang didn't have their little toy anymore and so they started to bully Deku for being quirkless. When the girl started attending the school in their second year, Deku was able to avoid getting bullied. However, by the time she pulled out of school at the start of their third year, Katsuki and his friends had turned their attention to the poor, timid boy.
When the two boys were accepted into U.A, it was a huge turn around for Deku, finally being able to become the hero he always wanted to be! If only she could achieve that with him. Katsuki was only fueled with rage, angered that he was not the only one that was accepted. He had Deku pinned to the wall with an angered look, demanding to know how he got accepted, along the lines of “Did you bribe them?!” But it wasn’t true, Deku had worked hard after receiving One For All and he got in with his own efforts, with the help of All Might.
Weeks have passed since middle school ended. He has been putting in a lot of effort in U.A with his new classmates and making new friends, growing closer every day. He continues to make attempts to get in touch with his middle school friend Y/N L/N, but the orphanage says that she ran away a few months after dropping out of middle school. He tried looking for her but failed. He eventually admitted defeat and gave up trying to find her.
Little did he know, he would be seeing her soon.
It was the day the students were gonna learn about rescue. They all had to take the bus to the U.S.J because it was farther from the main building. Everyone was already outside with their hero costumes, except Deku who had his gear and his PE uniform instead of his costume. “Hey Deku, aren’t they your gym clothes?” Uraraka asked, walking up to Deku. “Where is your costume?” She asked, pointing at his clothes, “Ah, it got ruined during the battle training, so they’re repairing it for me.” He embarrassingly said.
Everyone was then ordered by Iida to go inside the bus to begin the journey to the U.S.J
By the time they arrived, they were greeted by the pro hero No.13!! The students were in awe of the hero as the hero explained the meaning behind the name of “U.S.J!!” The students were so excited to be learning how to rescue others but villains had other plans..
Suddenly, the lights started electrifying and turning off which made the students look up. And then the fountain water flowed intermittently and a big misty purple portal materialized out of nowhere. Villains had appeared. The students thought it was part of an exercise but Aizawa said otherwise.
As the problems began to increase, a light blue ashy haired man and a joyful looking girl with H/C watched the chaos that had occurred by their arrival. “Hey, Shiggy! Can I maybe play with a certain blonde?~” The girl asked with an excited smile, “Do what you want, you mentally unstable child.” Shigaraki sighed, the girl smiled happily by his approval, “Giri!! Help me out here!” She called out to the misty man, “Of course, Jinx.” The misty bartender nodded before opening one of his portals for her. “Thank you!!” She thanked before skipping inside the portal and arriving in the Ruins Zone.
A blonde and a red haired boy were fighting off the goons that were sent into the zone with them, easily defeating them all with the blonde calling them all weak and even attacked one of them that were trying to sneak behind him with an explosion, And just as they were gonna go, a portal appeared in front of them, “Another extra! Fine, bring it on!!” He grinned, both of them positioning themselves to attack this anonymous attacker.
A girl with H/L H/C hair with a steampunk themed outfit waltzes right out before the portal closes. The red haired boy dashed towards the enemy and just as he was gonna take a hit, the villain swiftly dodged the attack and pulled out a makeshift gun and shot him with an electric shot. The boy quickly recovered and ran back into action, catching the villain off guard and managing to hold her in place, “Bakugou! Quick, take a hit!” The boy, Kirishima, called out but the boy stayed frozen, taking recognition from the villain’s E/C eyes that were tinted in bright pink.
“Bakugou!!” Kirishima yelled again which took Bakugou out of his frozen state and he quickly got back in action, blasting a powerful explosion towards the red head’s direction, managing to take a hit. Kirishima pounced back, siding with Bakugou as they waited for the villain’s next move. “Haha… I miss that heat! Did ya miss me, Kacchan?~” The H/C girl chuckled, slowly lifting her head up to show her glowing pink E/C eyes.Bakugou’s eyes widened as he finally remembered who she was.
“Y/N..?” He muttered softly, “Y/N? No no, it’s Jinx! Remember? You made me who I am today!” She laughed. “Oi, this must be some sick joke, I thought you wanted to be a hero!” He yelled out, “Heroes wouldn’t want an unstable student to be a hero, All For One helped me see that.” She smiled, creating a small crystal and smashed it onto the ground, “Bakugou, watch out!” Kirishima yelled before a F/C explosion engulfed the 3 people.
When the smoke cleared out, the girl stared at Kirishima who was protecting Bakugou with his body. Y/N looked at this with an angered and distorted look, scribbles were all around her, scribbling everything around her. Voices in her head started to talk, along the lines, “Monster!” “Freak!” “Jinx!!” And there were scribbles all along the boys’ faces. She was engulfed in a feeling of rage and sadness.
The boys finally recovered and looked at the distressed villain. Bakugou quickly blasted towards her, taking the opportunity as she was distracted, oh so he thought.
The girl noticed and quickly blasted her gun towards him, an electric feeling shook his body. “Have you gone weak?! You are so pathetic!” She mocked, walking towards him but a red head blocked her from doing so.
She managed to hold them off in the zone when All Might appeared. By the time All Might defeated the nomu, a portal appeared in front of her. “Oh? I guess it’s my time to go! It was lovely seeing you, Kacchan!” She smiled, walking into the portal before the two students could hit her.
“Until we meet again~”

Life After Destruction - Chapter 7 - Honkai: Star Rail
<Previous Chapter ~ Next Chapter>
Month seven meant only one more month aboard the Astral Express before Stelle and Dan Heng would be dropped off at the Xianzhou Luofu. Stelle felt like things were happening so fast. The pressure to get everything in order this month, including finishing shopping for the nursery, was beginning to weigh on her.
However, there had been one minor roadblock to accomplishing that goal: Himeko and March practically begging her to wait with any form of shopping. Although Stelle supposed she would have a month on the Luofu to collect any remaining items she needed, she still wanted to get things in order now, as did Dan Heng. In the end, the two were so adamant in their request that she had to cave, and despite her repeated asks, they never told her the reason.
Until today.
“Surprise!” Asta and March said, waving excitedly at the obnoxiously large pile of gifts.
Surprise, indeed. To say Stelle’s jaw was on the floor was probably an understatement. Beside her, Dan Heng looked equally shocked. Probably because when Himeko said they needed to go to Herta Space Station to gather supplies, it never crossed either of their minds that this would be what she'd meant.
“Yeah, yeah, surprise,” Herta reluctantly agreed with all the minimal enthusiasm she could muster. To be fair to her, the fact Herta had even come down to greet them was a surprise in itself. “Now get all this garbage off my ship. It’s preventing me from seeing my curios.”
“Madam Herta,” Asta gently chided. “I know you don’t mean that. Didn’t you get them a gift, too?”
“I didn’t want to,” she snipped. “It was Screwllems’s stupid idea, and Ruan Mei just had to jump on board. But… I guess it’s not totally worthless. Because of this idiot—” Herta roughly pointed at Stelle— “I’m still able to do my studies and experiments in this galaxy. Although, she could have avoided getting knocked up.” With those biting words, she glared at Dan Heng.
Stelle chuckled nervously. Although Herta’s words said one thing, Stelle was fairly certain the only reason she was mad was because Stelle hadn’t been able to help test the Simulated Universe for far too long.
Dan Heng, for his part, simply ignored it. “So,” he began, looking over the mountain of gifts once again before turning to March and Asta. “Would you like to explain why there are so many gifts here?”
“It’s for a baby shower!” March explained. “Er… kind of.”
“You two are kind of famous, you know,” Asta elaborated. “So it was only natural that people would want to know that the galaxy’s savior was pregnant with her first child. These are all the congratulatory gifts from, well… everyone.”
Stelle looked over the tower again. This mountain was the galaxy’s well-wishes to her?
Her hand went up to rest on top of her growing stomach.
“Um.” From behind them, Arlan spoke up. “Would you like me to start organizing the transfer of these gifts to the Express?”
“Yes!” Herta cried. “Get them out of here. I’ve got more important things to do, like finding someone who doesn’t have a medical exemption from assisting with my tests of the Simulated Universe. I’m trying to get in contact with Nanook there since he’s long dead in the real world. Curious minds need to know his reasonings behind these wars.”
“You can have Caelus for your experiments,” Stelle offered.
Herta quirked a brow at her. “Who?”
“Wow, that’s mean,” March muttered under her breath.
“We’ve all done it,” Stelle flatly countered, trying to justify away the niggling guilt she felt. “It’s his turn. Think of it as a rite of passage.”
Dan Heng hummed. “If he wants the full experience of being a trailblazer, I suppose assisting Madam Herta is part of it.”
Despite being a doll, Herta’s eyes started gleaming. “Oh, so he is a new member? That would be useful to get a fresh perspective on the alterations to the Simulated Universe. You all have adapted well to it, which has been helpful in its own way, but that might have skewed an accurate perception of it.”
“He’s probably still with Himeko at the Express,” Dan Heng answered.
“Oh, perfect.” And with that, Herta shuffled past Arlan and out the door.
Asta cleared her throat to break the awkward atmosphere. “If you would please, Arlan. Moving all this will take a while.”
“G-got it,” he replied. “It’s preferable to being dragged around by Madam Herta. Just… don’t tell her I said that.”
“Where is this even going to go on the Express?” Stelle asked.
“Himeko said she’s figured that out already,” March dismissed. “So don’t worry about it.”
That was an impossible task. Especially as another question came to mind. “Where is all this going to go in the nursery?”
“Oh!” March’s eyes lit up. “So that’s the thing. When Himeko and I sent out the announcement, we kinda realized that you might end up with an excess of baby things. Himeko suggested they send things for the baby to grow into instead of just baby things. She promised that you guys could put all the things you wouldn’t need right away in storage.”
“Well,” Dan Heng said, nodding in approval, “that certainly is more practical, considering how many planets seemed to have been informed.”
“Yeah,” Asta agreed. “But they were all more than happy to send things along. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have all this.”
That was true. At that realization, Stelle felt quite honored.
Don’t cry, she mentally warned when she felt herself suddenly get emotional, an unfortunate side effect of her pregnancy. Suck it up. It’s fine. It’s just… really nice of everyone.
Soon enough, she was dabbing at her eyes.
“Please tell me those are happy tears,” Asta said, suddenly getting worried.
Dan Heng wrapped his arm around Stelle’s waist, and she allowed him to pull her close. “Yeah. I’m fine,” she said, leaning against Dan Heng's shoulder.
“Is it overwhelming?” Dan Heng quietly asked.
Stelle nodded. “But it’s really nice of everyone.”
“It… it really is,” Dan Heng agreed. “We’re going to have to thank everyone for their thoughtfulness.”
“I’ve got you covered,” Asta said, grabbing one of the boxes that was exceedingly plain. She took off the cardboard lid, showing a small booklet and a stack of cards and envelopes. “This is for you to record who gave you what. And then I got actual letters for you to send. Hopefully, that won’t be too overwhelming.”
“We’ll manage,” Dan Heng said. “Although… this will be quite the task.”
Stelle could not disagree in the slightest.
“I can help if you want,” March offered. “I don’t mind.”
“Thanks,” Stelle said, shooting her friend a smile. As kind as it was for her to offer, Stelle had the feeling she’d manage on her own. After all, she was getting quite bored staying still on the Express, her growing stomach getting in the way of being too adventurous. Writing a million cards might just be the cure for her boredom.
Or it would drive her insane. With her mood swings, who knew. Either way, it had to be better than helping Herta test the Simulated Universe…
Right?
~~~
Dan Heng had no idea how they managed to fit all the gifts in the Astral Express. Looking over the storage room that was practically overflowing, he was dreading the task of opening them. However, he would not complain. This was extremely generous of the galaxy at large, and he was appropriately thankful for their consideration. Furthermore, with all these gifts, it was likely he and Stelle wouldn’t have to go shopping for much more. That is, if they had to go shopping at all. While he wouldn’t have minded going shopping for the baby, he also couldn’t deny he would prefer if he didn’t have to. Shopping had never been his favorite thing, and one particular pre-Stelle shopping trip he’d been forced to take with March had spoiled that task for life.
“So,” Himeko began, approaching Dan Heng, “What do you think of the surprise? We wanted to organize a proper baby shower for Stelle, but that just wasn’t possible.”
“This is more than enough,” Dan Heng assured with a smile. “Thank you. It must have taken considerable effort on your part to organize this.”
“It did, but it was worth it. Hopefully, March and I did a good enough job communicating with everyone so you won’t get too many repeated items. You should be covered with a range of things up into their childhood years. Although, organizing certain toddler items does become more challenging when you don’t know if you’ll have a boy or a girl.”
“Stelle wanted to keep it a surprise. Otherwise, you would have known.”
“I know. And I also know you went along with her wishes to keep her happy." She then poked his shoulder. "Just remember you’re the father. You’re allowed to ask for things, too.”
“I know,” he returned. “But I couldn’t ask for anything more than what she’s given me. While I would have liked to know, just so I could be as prepared as possible, it ultimately doesn’t matter if we know ahead of time or not. I’ll be happy either way.”
Himeko’s smile was gentle. “Stelle’s very lucky to have you as her husband. And your child is going to be lucky to have you as a father.”
Bashful, Dan Heng turned back to look over the gifts. “I’ll… do my best.”
“Give yourself a little credit,” Himeko teased. “You deserve it.”
Unsure of what to say, Dan Heng simply nodded. He had plenty of doubts lingering in his mind over this, but he had to conquer them alone. And quickly, at that. The baby would be here before they knew it. While Dan Heng knew that everything about their life would change because of it, there was also only so much he could do to prepare. He would just have to adapt to everything else and hope he didn’t mess things up, for his child’s sake.
“Have you figured out names yet?” Himeko asked.
He nodded, thankful for the change in conversation. “Yes, we’ve settled on names for both genders.”
“Are you going to keep those a surprise, too?” Himeko lightly prodded.
“Yes,” Dan Heng said, giving her a slight smile. “But that was my idea to do so.”
“Haha. You two are certainly keeping everyone in suspense.”
Dan Heng shut the door to the storage room, blocking out the overwhelming sight of the mountainous stack of gifts for now. “On a different note,” he began, making his way back to the parlor. “I will be sitting this next mission out so as to help Stelle—”
“She warned me to not allow you to do that,” Himeko interrupted. “She said she could handle the presents and thank you cards on her own but that you should get out and about as much as possible before the baby is born. I agree with her. I doubt you’ll want to leave her side for a while after your baby arrives, so I don’t want you to get sick of the Astral Express too soon.”
Dan Heng sighed. Part of him figured this would happen. If it was just Himeko’s idea, he’d probably argue with her, but he wasn’t going to test Stelle. Her emotional state was growing more unstable with each passing month, so he didn't want to start needless fights with her. She was only doing this out of consideration for him, anyway.
“It will be fine,” Himeko said. “You two can open the gifts together while we’re traveling. Then whoever stays behind with Stelle can help her write all the thank you notes. That is, if she wants the help in the first place. It’s quite obvious Stelle is growing plenty bored staying on the Express all the time. The letters will give her something to do.”
When Himeko put it that way, Dan Heng thought maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to leave that job up to Stelle, after all.
“Besides,” Himeko continued. “I appreciate you teaching Caelus what you know before you disappear on us. Don’t say this to March, but between the two of you, you are the better teacher.”
Dan Heng smirked in amusement. “My lips are sealed.” Although, he did suppose Himeko had a point when it came to Caelus. He was a plenty capable person and well-trained, but he came with his own challenges and quirks. Stellaron Hunters did things very differently than the Nameless, so there was much to teach him as well as many tricks to learn from him.
And if Dan Heng were being honest, he enjoyed having a male companion compared to traveling with two girls all the time. Not that he didn’t adore said girls, especially since they were his wife and someone he thought of as a sister.
They entered the parlor to see Stelle still chatting with March, Asta, and Arlan. Upon spying Dan Heng, Stelle grinned, waving him to come over before motioning to a large box at her feet. “From the Space Station.”
“Though Arlan organized it,” Asta said, elbowing the young man.
Arlan chuckled sheepishly. “I hope you like it.”
“I’m sure we will,” Stelle said. “Thank you.”
“And don’t worry,” Arlan added on, shooting Asta a warning look. “I didn’t let Lady Asta spend any money on it. She went overboard with the clothes, anyway.”
“I did not,” Asta countered. “It was fine.”
“It was not fine,” Stelle said. “It’s just that no one can stop you when you start.”
Before Asta could come up with a retort, the door to the Astral Express opened, and a frazzled Caelus entered.
Upon seeing all eyes were on him, he started waving his hands about. “Let me get this straight: you’ve all helped Madam Herta with her little ‘virtual reality’ experiment?”
Tempering a grin, Dan Heng nodded, noting that the others were all doing the same. He almost pitied Caelus. Almost. He’d suffered Madam Herta’s experiments enough over the years. It was Caelus’ turn to take up that torch. Besides, the more people who volunteered, the fewer times each person would have to assist.
“Like, once or twice?” Caelus tentatively inquired.
Stelle answered, “Sometimes, several times a week.”
“A week?” Caelus repeated, horrified.
“How’d you like it?” March teasingly prodded.
Caelus couldn’t answer right away, words clearly having failed him. Eventually, he just shook his head. “So many bugs.”
“Aww,” Stelle mockingly cooed. “You don’t even know the half of it.”
~~~
The pile of scrapped gift wrapping was growing astronomically fast, and the nursery was filling up with items almost as quickly. So far, there’d been a wide variety of things, from baby necessities to toddler clothing to a range of toys. Then there was the variety of wild card items ranging from medicine to information for the archives to weapons.
And then Stelle still wasn’t fully sure what that thing was over in the corner.
But even those odd items came with things like some diapers or children’s books, and each gift came with a letter of congratulations from the senders. Typically, they were from the government at large, but there were a few exceptions.
“Another from Belobog.”
Stelle took the gift Dan Heng offered her, the fourth one from Belobog. One from Bronya, who spoke on behalf of the country at large, then another from the Silvermane Guards. Wildfire even got her a gift.
As she looked over the plain brown box, her heart warmed upon seeing the still scratchy lettering that she recognized as Hook’s scrawl. To: Honorary Member and Little Honorary Member. From: The Moles. “They’re too sweet.”
“They are very kind," Dan Heng agreed. "I’m sure it wasn’t easy for them to scrape together the money to send that.”
That was true. Inter-astral mail wasn’t cheap. Even though she knew all the members of the Moles each had their own paying jobs now, it must have put quite the dent in their pockets.
Stelle opened the slightly battered box to reveal a jar of marbles, a teddy bear that looked handmade with a handful of clothes to go with it, and a torn, tattered book titled “Adventures of the Moles”. The longer she looked over the gifts, the more she recognized them, and soon enough, she began to feel overly emotional.
“I’m gonna yell at them for giving us these,” she whispered, her eyes growing watery.
“You should probably text them right away,” Dan Heng suggested, a gentle smile on his face while he soothingly stroked her hair.
“Yeah, probably.”
Dan Heng set the box carefully aside for her while Stelle pulled out her phone.
“I’m going to empty out the trash bin again,” Dan Heng said, standing from his seat. “And bring back the next round of gifts. Take your time.”
“Thanks,” she said, already tapping away at her phone.
Stelle: Hook! I just opened your gift!
Stelle: I love it. Thank you so much!
Stelle: Tell the others I said thanks, too.
Before Stelle could put her phone away, she saw little bubbles flash on the screen.
Hook: I’m glad! Do you like the teddy? I sewed it all by myself!
Hook: I asked the old witch to teach me how, and she said she would if I cleaned the clinic.
Hook: But she actually made me clean the clinic! (;° ロ°)
Stelle couldn’t help but chuckle. She could easily imagine the huffy pout Hook was wearing.
Stelle: It’s about time she made you keep your word. Natasha was too soft.
Hook: Honorary member! How dare you betray us!
Hook: Oh no she caught me
Stelle: Good luck with your punishment.
With a grin, Stelle put her phone down. Over the years, Hook had grown fond of the clinic. More often than not, Hook would volunteer a little of her time to help Natasha tidy the place up. Not exactly any of the “months” she’d ever promised, but Stelle supposed that development was enough to show just how much Hook had grown up.
While mustering the willpower to stand up and help Dan Heng pull some more presents into the nursery, her phone chimed. She looked over, expecting to see a message from Hook detailing how she escaped.
Natasha: Hey, Stelle. I’m sorry to bother you, but since you texted Hook, I thought you might be free for a moment. I have a question to ask of you.
Stelle: Of course. Shoot.
Natasha: Feel free to tell me I’m sticking my nose where it doesn’t belong, but have you set up a birth plan yet?
Honestly, Stelle should have been expecting that from Natasha. If anything, she should have told Natasha her plans earlier.
Stelle: Yes. We’ve decided to go to the Xianzhou Luofu, which is Dan Heng’s home world. I believe I’ve told you about Bailu, correct? She was incredibly picky in recommending doctors to us.
Natasha: That’s good to hear you have people you trust. If you hadn’t, I was going to ask if I could help you in any way. Of course, if you need me for anything, I’ll help out as much as I can.
Stelle: Thank you. I promise I’ll contact you if I need anything.
Though it was reasonable to leave it at that, Stelle kinda wanted to keep the conversation going. Hence, she found herself typing out another message.
Stelle: Actually, I had been debating about coming to Belobog. I trust you as a doctor and would have felt the most comfortable with you, if I am being honest. But for other reasons, the Luofu is ultimately better.
Stelle: Sometimes I wish you could come, but I know you’re busy with the clinic. :)
Just as she finished, Dan Heng returned, his arms full of gifts once again.
Stelle put her phone down. “How many more do we have to go?”
Dan Heng dropped the tall stack. “With this, we’ve gotten through approximately two-thirds of the gifts.”
Stelle heaved a sigh. It had been a marathon, to say the least. She was growing tired of them, even though she was still incredibly thankful. Because of what they had received so far, the nursery was already stocked with everything they could need or want. Heck, they’d even gotten things they certainly didn’t need. At this point, she couldn't even fathom what other surprises there could possibly be.
Before Dan Heng could hand her the gift from the top of the pile, her phone dinged again.
Natasha: If you’d like, I can try to organize coming with you. I have two new assistants that could take over for a short period.
Natasha: I would have to double-check with some of the others, though, to make sure everything with Wildfire is running smoothly and that it would be okay.
Stelle blinked a few times at the message.
“Something happen?” Dan Heng asked, sitting down beside her again.
“Um…” Stelle pursed her lips as she glanced over to Dan Heng. “Natasha offered to come with us to be there for the birth of our baby.”
“Oh?”
Stelle nodded.
“Would you like that?”
“I mean… yeah.”
“But you’re hesitating.”
Stelle let her phone fall into her lap, giving Dan Heng her full attention. “Do you think Bailu would be okay with that? Or would that cause more problems? She said she’d already screened all the doctors there for us to meet. And I know Natasha said she’d be okay to leave for a bit, but we’ll be there for a month. Is it okay for her to leave for that long?”
Dan Heng paused in thought. “I wouldn’t worry about Bailu. Even though she did take time to recommend doctors to us, I doubt she would fault you for bringing a doctor you trust. As for if Natasha can take that time away from the clinic, I’d say tell her our plan and let her decide if she can accommodate us.”
“You think I should?” Stelle asked.
“I think you have the right to be comfortable with people you trust. And if they’re offering, I would accept. And... to be honest, I would be comfortable with Natasha, as well. For your sake."
Feeling more confident, Stelle picked up her phone again. "Bailu would be disappointed if she knew you didn't trust her judgment."
"I trust people you and I both know and have worked with. That's all."
Although he spoke them dismissively, she was happy to have her husband's full support. She leaned over to drop her head on his shoulder while she texted Natasha back.
Stelle: Are you sure that would be okay? About three weeks from now, we will head to the Luofu with plans on remaining there until the baby is born. By that time, I’ll only be eight months, so we’ll likely be there for a month or so. Is it possible for you to take all that time away from your clinic?
She sent off the message before dropping the phone back into her lap.
Beside her, Dan Heng pressed a quick kiss to the top of her head before handing her another gift.
"Was that encouagement to keep up this marathon?" she asked, feeling all fluttery from the tiny gesture.
"Possibly."
"Possibly," she repeated, amused. Still, she sat up straight to open the gift, this one a box of children’s books and some unisex clothes.
After recording the information in the booklet, Dan Heng took them to set aside just as her phone dinged again.
Natasha: So you’ll be spending the last month of your pregnancy there? That’s a wise idea. As for the length of duration on my account, things here should be fine between the two assistants that I’ve trained to handle the clinic here. Things have never run more smoothly. I’m sure I can disappear for a month or two.
Natasha: Actually, Seele just came and told me to leave the affairs of Wildfire to her and Oleg. It seems I might be pushed to go with you in the end.
Stelle: If you’re able to, I would really like to have you around.
Stelle: Take your time organizing things. We can come pick you up when it comes time and take you to the Luofu with us. I think you’d really like it.
Natasha: I would be going as your doctor first and foremost. But, when you put it that way, I guess that I would have a little free time to enjoy exploring a new place. That would be quite exciting. :D
“I think it’s going to work out,” Stelle said, grinning as she looked over to Dan Heng.
He returned her smile with one of his own. “Then I’ll inform Bailu a little later once you two have sorted out more of the details.”
“Sounds like a plan.”
“Well, while you’re continuing to communicate with her, would you like to switch tasks? I’ll open the next gifts and you record them?”
Stelle looked over the tower of gifts before her. Her stomach sank even further when she recalled there were still more in the storage area. “Yeah, gimme the notebook before I get sick of opening gifts forever.”
~~~
“And you’re certain you packed everything?” Dan Heng asked for the final time.
Stelle sighed, clearly getting tired of his constant questioning. Yet, he watched her silently count on her fingers as she looked over their luggage. “Pretty sure.”
“All the baby’s things that Natasha instructed us to pack?”
“That was the bag I packed first.”
He nodded, looking over the luggage one last time. He couldn’t shake this anxious feeling swirling through him, like he was forgetting something. Or maybe he was anxious because he was about to spend the next month with Stelle on the Xianzhou Luofu. This would be the longest period of time he’d spent away from the Express since first boarding. Furthermore, he wasn’t leaving for a mission but rather for a familial reason, which felt still extremely strange to him.
“Well, if you’re finished questioning me for the umpteenth time, are you ready to go?” Stelle asked.
Startled from his thoughts, he looked back up at her. “Y-yeah. I think so.”
“Are you sure?”
He nodded, but she was quick to shoot him a doubtful look. Worried that she was about to call his bluff, he reached for their luggage bags, ones the space station had gifted them for this very reason. “We should go,” he said. “The others put aside their expedition to make this trip specifically for us. I don’t want to keep them long.”
“I guess you’re right.” And with that, Stelle reached for her bag.
“Grab the baby’s bag,” Dan Heng instructed. “That’s all I’ll let you carry.”
She frowned up at him. “I can carry more.”
“You are carrying plenty.” He reached out to lay a hand on her stomach. “So don’t overexert yourself.”
“I’m fine, you know,” she quietly countered, placing her hand on top of his, a habit she'd picked up from whenever the baby was kicking and she pulled him close to feel it. At the moment, the baby was quiet. Maybe it too was feeling the stress of everything.
“I’d like to keep you that way.” With that, he leaned forward, pressing a quick kiss to her cheek.
“Hey.”
He couldn't help but grin at the little pout she shot him, his worries disappearing for a second. Reaching up to cradle her cheek, he angled her head towards him and pressed a kiss to her lips. “Better?”
She grinned. “Thank you. For that, I guess I’ll let you carry the bags.”
He huffed in amusement.
Soon enough, the duo made their way to the parlor, Stelle carrying the baby backpack while Dan Heng dragged one large, rolling suitcase behind him. It fit quite a bit of their clothes for the month, but the rest of their things were packed in the overlarge pack he wore on his back. For some reason, a slight chill haunted him as he marched down the hallway. It disturbed him, this odd feeling of finality that hung in the air, like an end was imminent. He tried to tell himself he would return here to the Astral Express and that things would be fine, but the sadness weighing on his heart was too heavy to entirely ignore.
“There they are,” Himeko spoke once Dan Heng and Stelle entered the parlor. “Are the both of you set?”
“I believe so,” Dan Heng answered, pushing aside his feelings for now and focusing on the present. Beside him, Stelle made a show of crossing her fingers.
“Then this is where we part ways.” Himeko was the first to reach out and pull Stelle in a hug. “We’ll miss you. We’ll be hoping for a safe delivery.”
“Thank you,” Stelle muttered in return.
March was up next. “It will be so weird not having you two around,” she said, clinging tight to Stelle.
“It’ll be weirder when we bring back a baby,” Stelle bantered back.
“That’s true. But I’ll take that weirdness any day if it means you two are back.”
Dan Heng felt a small sense of relief knowing that he wasn’t the only one feeling strange about this whole arrangement. Not that there was anything to be done about it; it was part of Stelle’s pregnancy. One would have thought Dan Heng would have gotten used to change by now, with the months Stelle’s pregnancy had already altered their lives in numerous ways, but this felt different. They’d always had the Astral Express and the Nameless by their side to help them through it. Now, they were temporarily heading out on their own.
A weight on his shoulder called him out of his thoughts, and Dan Heng looked over to Welt. “I wish you both a restful month before the baby arrives,” Welt said, giving Dan Heng’s shoulder an encouraging squeeze. “You two have earned it.”
“We’ll try,” Dan Heng responded.
“Don’t worry,” Caelus said, giving Dan Heng’s other shoulder a bump with his fist. “We’ll take care of everything around here.”
“I believe you will.” Dan Heng had seen how quickly Caelus had integrated into the Astral Express crew. He would manage on his own. Although, Dan Heng still had some reservations about Caelus and March running missions together. The combination of March’s friendly, somewhat naive personality paired with Caelus’ impulsive nature was doubtlessly going to wind the pair in trouble at some point.
Caelus then turned to Stelle, reaching an arm out towards her. “Take care.”
Stelle returned the side hug with a smile. Despite the amnesia between the two of them making their past a jumbled mishmash of memories, they’d grown close over the last couple of months. Maybe because of how similar they ultimately were. “Don’t get in trouble,” Stelle warned him.
“I promise… to do my best.”
“March,” Stelle said, turning to her friend. “If something goes wrong, remember: blame him.”
“Hey!”
March laughed. “You got it.”
Caelus leveled a glare at March. “Rude.”
Chuckling, March shot back a cheeky wink and peace sign.
While the duo went at it, Welt had sided up to Stelle. “Take care,” he told her, reaching up to rest a hand on her head. “I’ll be hoping you have an easy delivery.”
Grinning, she reached out to wrap her arms around his torso. “Thanks.”
He wrapped an arm over her shoulders, looking every bit like a proud grandfather-to-be.
“Stay safe,” Himeko said, now at Dan Heng’s side.
“We will,” he returned.
“And know that we’ll always be here if you need anything,” she continued.
“I wouldn’t want to bother you any more than we have.”
“Doesn’t matter,” Himeko easily dismissed. “You and Stelle have been travelers on the Express for so long that you’re the closest thing to family I have. I guarantee you that the others feel the same. So it’s no bother. Besides, we’ll all miss you and can’t wait for you to come back, baby and all.”
At her words, more of the chilly unease in Dan Heng’s stomach dissipated. Maybe that was what had him in such a frenzy: he was leaving this place he considered home behind, even if it was just for a bit. For someone who grew up with nothing only to be exiled when he was old enough, the last thing he wanted was to let go of every treasure he'd found, for it to disappear.
But it wouldn’t. It was only a temporary shift for the sake of Stelle and his child. And once the baby arrived, they would come back home, to where his—no, their family was waiting.
“Sorry, sorry!” A sudden newcomer burst into the parlor. “I overslept. Apologies if I kept everyone waiting.”
“You came right on time,” Himeko assured. “Although, I feel bad for having to wake you in the first place. You seemed quite comfortable.”
“I was,” Natasha guiltily admitted. “Seems I’ve been working too hard lately and not getting enough rest.”
“Well, I hope you are able to get some rest on the Luofu.”
“On the contrary, I fear I’ll be too excited to want to sleep. And considering I have the very rare pleasure of caring for a single patient, I’ll have plenty of time to study a different world. I won’t want to miss a minute.”
Dan Heng spoke up, “I’m sure Bailu would be happy to let you read her medical texts.”
At that, Natasha’s eyes lit up. “It would be wonderful if I could find new techniques or medicines to take back to Belobog.”
“With as much free time as you’ll have,” Stelle chimed in. “I’m sure you’ll find something.”
“I look forward to it.”
With one last round of goodbyes, Dan Heng, Stelle, and Natasha headed toward the train's exit. Only, before they disembarked, Dan Heng transformed into his vidyadhara figure. Which he realized too late that Natasha had never seen before.
"That is... quite the surprise," Natasha commented, accepting the shift with grace. "But, I guess it shouldn't be, Cold Dragon Young."
He sighed. "I am impressed you can remember such a fleeting name."
"Fleeting?" Natasha asked, a mischievous twinkle coming to her eye. "The children still call you that."
Dan Heng wasn't quite sure what to think of that. Stelle certainly found it amusing, though.
When they disembarked the Express, they were immediately greeted by a surprisingly large welcoming party, the most notable two being a young vidyadhara and a not-so-fearsome Cloud Knight Commander.
“Dan Heng! Stelle!” Bailu was the first to run up to them, throwing her arms around Stelle. “Man, you’re huge.”
“Gee, thanks,” Stelle deadpanned, still patting Bailu on the head.
“It’s an observation, not an insult,” she quipped back. Her pout soon became a grin as she turned to Dan Heng and threw her arms around him. “Welcome back.”
Dan Heng returned the hug Bailu gave him, although he didn’t cling to her nearly as tight as she did him. “Good to see you, Bailu.”
Having properly greeted him and Stelle, Bailu then turned to Natasha. “Ah, are you the doctor that Stelle wanted to bring?”
“Yes. I’m Natasha. You must be Bailu.”
“That I am.”
“I’ve heard much about you.”
“You should have,” Bailu proudly piped up. “Dan Heng is basically my brother.”
“Play nice,” Dan Heng warned, patting Bailu on the head as he walked past her, dragging the luggage behind him.
“Fine,” she playfully bemoaned. “But only because you asked nicely.”
Leaving the girls behind to chat among themselves, Dan Heng approached a grinning Jing Yuan.
“I believe a hearty congratulations is in order,” the man warmly greeted.
“Thank you.” Over the years, Dan Heng had forged an odd sort of acquaintanceship with Jing Yuan. He was sure that Jing Yuan would never be able to fully forget Dan Heng’s past incarnation and the close friendship he’d shared with Dan Feng, yet Dan Heng could tell the commander had moved beyond that and saw him for the person he was in this life instead of the man he once had been.
“Come now, no need to be so modest. You’re the first vidyadhara to ever reproduce. You should be thrilled.”
“I am,” Dan Heng said. “I simply have other concerns on my mind at the moment. Such as how the general population has reacted to that fact."
Jing Yuan’s expression grew serious, which only made the pit of worry in Dan Heng’s stomach grow. “I apologize. I encouraged Lady Bailu to leak that news. I thought it would be for the better to stir the pot and see what bubbled up beforehand rather than you appearing with your pregnant wife unannounced.”
He sighed, a heaviness weighing on his heart. Maybe this was the other reason he was so afraid to leave the Express behind. Yes, he would miss his family, but here, there were threats to Stelle lurking just under the surface. And if anything happened to her or the baby…
Well, he feared he understood Dan Feng a little too well in moments like this.
“You aren’t one to make an impulsive decision like that without council,” Dan Heng said. “I’m assuming you contacted the head diviner before making that call.”
“I’m pleased to know you know me so well. Yes, I did. She also agreed with that plan, believing it gave us the best chance to monitor the population’s reaction and weed out any potential threats prior to your arrival.”
“Did it yield harvest?”
“It did,” Jing Yuan confirmed. “They are facing judgment for their scheming. Although, I would refrain from claiming we’ve eliminated all threats. While many vidyadhara have accepted you back into the fold, there are those who still hate you regardless. To be honest, the other reason we wished to leak the information beforehand was to ensure that it would be safe for you to come here in the first place. Had the population reacted poorly, I would have told Bailu to send you elsewhere. However, the general consensus is a positive one. Most of the vidyadhara are happy to learn of your ability to father a child. You are now a symbol of hope for their race, after all.”
For a moment, Dan Heng was silent. “I understand that Stelle’s pregnancy provides hope to the vidyadhara population at large, and I should have pride in the fact I’m able to contribute in such a way to my race. But…” He turned to look at Stelle, who was grinning as Bailu held her swollen belly with a look of awe. “That is the last thing on my mind.”
Jing Yuan hummed. “I suppose I can’t fault you for that. Ultimately, you are no different than any other excited father.”
Dan Heng turned back to Jing Yuan. “There is a vast difference between knowing you have a child to carry on the legacy of a race incapable of having children and knowing that you are blessed to have a child.”
With an approving grin, Jing Yuan dropped a hand on Dan Heng’s shoulder. “That child is lucky to have you as a father. I’m happy for you.”
Dan Heng nodded his thanks.
Jing Yuan then gave Dan Heng’s shoulder a squeeze. “I swear on my honor that I’ll do everything I can to keep you and Stelle safe. Beyond you two being the parents of the first vidyadhara to be born, you two are the saviors of the galaxy. And even beyond that… you, Dan Heng, are my friend.”
For a moment, words eluded him, so Dan Heng had to settle for reaching up to rest a hand on Jing Yuan’s shoulder. “Thank you… old friend.”
Her Most Holy Saint
Neptune: Hey, Pyrrha; need me to carry your books for you?
Weiss: Pyrrha, would you like to join me for tea later, I have the utmost exquisite tea for you to try?
Blake: Pyrrha, would you like to talk about the plights of the faunas?
Sun: How about we all go have lunch outside?
Ruby: Oh! We could have a picnic!
Nora: With pancakes!
Ren: Would this be satisfactory to your wishes your most holy saint?
Yang: Sound like fun to me!
Pyrrha: Thank you, thank you everyone ~! That sounds just wonderful~! Although, I don’t think pancakes are a good picnic food, Nora, maybe cakes instead~!
Ruby: That sounds nice~!
Weiss: I know some excellent cakes that go along famously with my teas!
Neptune: Would you like a cushion to rest on?
Nora: What are we waiting for, lets go have a picnic!!!
As the group cheered, and danced about their most holy saint, one bad his opinions about their little get together well known, very well known.
: Oh gods… Are we going to have a party, or are all of you having a seizure?
Jaune Arc, comes from a most prestigious family, excellent academic rating, and a first class swordsman, well like by many of the schools facility, and the only student who showed any open distain to the most holy, Saint.
Jaune: Well, answer me! Or, are your brains so dulled by such childish antics they’ve ceased to function properly?
Ruby: We’re going to have a picnic!
Nora: And, you’re not invited!
Jaune: Oh, such a pity… At least tell me where you picnic is being held, I’m pretty sure the grass could use some watering.
Pyrrha: Now, now, come on, and be nice everyone~! I’m sure, Jaune would be wonderful to have at our little picnic, oh won’t you join us please~?
Jaune: Why the hell would someone of my noble standing deal with something like you, piece of trash.
Neptune: You dare call her trash!
Jaune: ‘Dared,’ you illiterate monkey! It past tense since I already called her trash! A worthless piece of trash at that!
Yang: You looking for a beat down you bastard!
Jaune: Now, now, now, Yang. Didn’t your precious little saint ask to, oh how did it go…? Oh yes: ‘Please no fighting~! Can’t we all just get along in peace with on another~?’ Ughh… just thinking about your pathetic idealism bullshit is revolting!
Yang: Next sparing match, you’re going down!
Jaune: Down on you if I lose, or down on me if I win? Regardless of which, I’m very certain we’ll both enjoy anyway~!
Yang: You fucking bastard!!
Weiss: You revolting pig!
Ruby: You big meanie!
Jaune: Oh! I am so offended by your words! Not because they were particularly mean, but that was seriously the best you come up with?
Neptune: Do you have anything better to do than insult the, Saint, Arc?!
Jaune: Do you have anything better to do than be a massive simp?
Neptune: You… What?!
Jaune: Evidently not…
Blake: Get out of here, Arc! People like you are not welcome here!
Jaune: Wow, you really going to get faunas equality with that kind of hypocrisy? Gods! I understand why this pack of simpleton’s shadow you like the plague, the hell are you doing? Like attracts like I guess.
Pyrrha: I fail to understand why you are so mean to me! Whatever it is I have done to offend you, please tell me what it is, and I shall rectify the problem!
Jaune: Well, I’m offended by your general existence so… Die?
Weiss: WHAT?!
Neptune: WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!
Yang: You motherfucker!
Sun: I’m go to string you up like a bunch of bananas!
Ruby: You jerk!
Nora: I’LL BREAK YOUR LEGS!!!
Jaune: Oh no… Please don’t… Haa… Whatever. I have better things to do that remind you how fucking stupid you all are. Goodbye, you bunch of intellectual equivalent to house plants.
And, with that, Jaune Arc walked away from them all, flipping the bird as he left as the rest of, Pyrrha’s posse surrounded her spouting off words of comfort to their poor Saint as she could only sadly stare at the back of, Jaune’s head.
~~~
As, Jaune walk down the halls of, Beacon whistling a tune as he went, he found himself in one of the many courtyards of, Beacon where he slowly stopped whistling, and sat down. As he sat down, he looked around him making sure he was alone, before his head fell in his hands as he tiredly groaned into them.
Jaune: Ughhhhhh… This is so exhausting?!
: Don’t worry, everything is going as planned. Relax, our Galant Knight~!
Jaune could feel a pair of arm’s messaging his shoulders as made a soft groan of comfort, he looked up into the burning eyes of his teammate, and one of his secret lovers, Cinder Fall.
Jaune: I know, it’s just so exhausting to be a complete dick to everyone!
Jaune felt a kiss against his cheek as a one, Emerald Sustari snuggled up against him.
Emerald: But, you do it so well! You just walk in, and be a complete douchebag to all of them!
Jaune: Aye, but all three of you know that, that isn’t me.
Jaune felt a hand on his shoulder to his left, and he looked over to see, Neo giving a comforting look.
Jaune: Thanks, Neo. It’s just… It feels like I’m not getting anywhere with her; She still such a goodie two shoes no matter what I do. Ugh… Do I have to be the bad guy here…?
Cinder: I know you don’t like it, Jaune, but it has to be you. Everyone thinks you’re the nicest guy around, someone has to teach the, Saint that the world isn’t all sunshine, and rainbows. And, I’m afraid that person has to be you.
Jaune: Nawww… I don’t wanna do it! Why can’t you do it, you guys can easily be way harsher than I ever could!
Emerald: And, what makes you say that?
Jaune: You’re girls. And, because of my seven sisters, I know how vicious a girl can be to another girl. It’s scary…
Cinder: Haha~! I know we could eviscerate the poor girl, but we can’t do that.
Jaune: And, why is that?
Cinder: Because, Neo is mute, and therefore can’t join is.
Neo: 😕
Emerald: And, we’re too busy pretending we enjoy hanging around those guys as we apologetically remind them all that you are a horrible, horrible person!
Jaune: But, I’m not a huge dick to people!
Emerald: Depending on the context you are~!
Neo: 🥰
Cinder: True, on both accounts. But to, Pyrrha, and the rest of them you are a huge dick.
Jaune: Haa… I understand the importance of the mission, I’m just starting to get worried is all.
Emerald: About what?
Jaune: I’m worried that we’ll fail because it doesn’t seem like I’m getting anywhere.
Cinder: Don’t worry, Jaune. We’re together on this, we can get there I know we can.
Jaune: And, how my mother will kill me if she ever found out I was talking this way to a lady…?
The trio of lover all shared a nervous glance at one another, knowing full well the wrath of the, Arc Matriarch.
Neo: 😫
Emerald: Yeah, it wouldn’t be a quick death.
Cinder: In all honesty; I fear your mother more than failing this mission.
Jaune: Oh gods…
Cinder: Don’t worry, my precious knight… (Kiss) You’ll make it through this~!
Emerald: (Kiss) Don’t worry, I’ll give you a nice calming back massage when we get back to our room.
Neo: 🍆💦 🥴
Jaune: Neo?!
Neo: 🤭
Jaune: Haa… What would I do without you girls~?
Cinder: Lets not answer that, because I’m not sure what we would do without you. Bye~!
Emerald: See you later, Jaune~!
Neo: 😘
Jaune: Till later ladies~!
Jaune waved goodbye as he watched them leave. He say down for a while longer before finally standing up, and giving his stiff muscles a good stretch before getting up. The rest was over, and now it was time for the bad guy to get to work.
~~~
Pyrrha: J-Jaune?
Jaune: Haa… The hell do you want? Hmm? Where’s your little entourage, finally grown a pair to face me yourself?
Pyrrha: I just wanted to talk, without their input on what clearly is a personal matter.
Jaune: Oh? So the little lady has a mind of her own. Colour me surprised; I thought if we turned your head right, we could see the sunlight through your ears!
Pyrrha: I don’t understand! Why do you hate me so much! I fail to see what I did was wrong to you!
Jaune: Do I need a reason?
Pyrrha: W-What?!
Jaune: Do I need a reason to hate someone, or love someone? The answer is no. Sure having a reason rationalizes it so we can focus on why we love, or hate someone, or something. But we don’t need a reason now do we?
Pyrrha: S-So you hate me, because you hate me?
Jaune: No, I don’t hate you, I despise you! There’s a difference.
Pyrrha: What difference does it make?! Why must you hate me.
Jaune: Because I can! And, that’s all that matters in the end! I don’t need a duck reason to hate you, I just do! Happy, I hate you, because I hate you! Can we call it a fay, this pointless conversation is making me tired.
Pyrrha: C-Can’t we work it out? I’m sure if we could…?!
(SLAP!)
Jaune: Shut the fuck up! I don’t care what you say, how hard to cry! I hate you!
Pyrrha: Y-Y-You hit me…? You hit me?!
Jaune: Yeah I did, what are you going to do about it, bitch!
~~~
Cinder, Emerald, and Neo were patiently waiting for the return of their friend/team leader/joint lover in their room. Each waiting to give him a treat for his hard work, and to remind him; that no matter how mean he had to be to the saint, at the end of the day, he was loved.
But suddenly, with no warning what so ever, the door to their room quickly opened, and slammed shut behind them causing all the girls to jump in shock. They all turned to see their precious knight panting heavily as if he had just seen a ghost. They all rushed to him, to see if he was okay.
Neo: 🤨
Emerald: Jaune?! What’s wrong, are you okay?
Cinder: Did, Pyrrha’s cronies finally have enough, and decided to chase you down.
Jaune: Oh gods I wish that was it…?!
Emerald: Than, what happened, Jaune?
Jaune: Okay! S-So, Pyrrha tracked me down… alone… to talk.
Cinder: Without her followers getting in the way?
Emerald: Perfect time to talk with him, about stuff.
Jaune: Y-Yeah, that’s what I thought so too! S-So I decided to really let her have it?!
Emerald: What did you do?
Jaune: I-I-I slapped her…!!
Cinder: Excuse me?
Emerald: You did what now?
Neo: 😬
Jaune: I slapped her!
Cinder: How hard did you slap her? Was it like a light slap to the back of the head or was it?!
(Slap!)
Neo: 😱
Cinder: OWWW?! Damn! That was perfect!
Emerald: It was?!
Cinder: Hurt enough to be shocking, but jot hard enough to leave a mark. Perfect slap!
Emerald: He gets a lot of practice from us~!
Neo: 🥴
Cinder: So then what happened?
Jaune: W-Well I antagonized her; she said you ‘Slapped me.’ i said, ‘What are you going to do about it bitch!’
Emerald: Oh~! Nice!
Neo: 😁👍
Cinder: Then what happened?
Jaune: S-She looked at me w-w-with the most depraved look I’ve ever seen!
Emerald: What?
Jaune: S-She told me to slap her again!
Neo: 😰
Jaune: Only this time I hit her harder, and call her, ‘My bitch!’
Cinder: Wait, what?!
Jaune: G-G-Guys?! T-T-The saint is a masochist! She a freaking masochist! And, she wants me to discipline her?!! Oh gods?! WHAT HAVE I DONE?!!
CEN: …
Cinder: The fuck…?!

i find it really interesting how in many ways jimmy is an inversion of the typical conman. we talk about how his cons are a way of taking back power or gaining a sense of control, but i don’t know that i’ve seen anyone point out (though i’m sure someone has) how his tendency to go after powerful people is the exact opposite of what most conmen do. usually a con artist or a scammer will go after whoever they see as most vulnerable, like a wolf picking off the weakest member of the heard. they target the people they think will be most likely to believe them, the more desperate or well-intentioned the better. jimmy’s father is singled out as a mark because he’s so eager to help people. they don’t care that he needs the money and they don’t feel bad about taking advantage of his kindness. jimmy's marks, in contrast, tend to be that same type of person. he pretends to be the vulnerable one, and rather than taking advantage of their willingness to help, he leads them to believe that they’re taking advantage of him.
the man that he and marco trick into buying the worthless coin involves himself as soon as he thinks they don’t want him listening. he says “hey, money talks” feeling that he just came out on top of someone else. they never directly sell him on anything. he took it upon himself to buy a coin that was being sold to another person. in the flashback in 1x04 the man yells “later, sucker” as he runs off with the fake rolex (which he thinks they stole off a semi-conscious man passed out in an alley, even if said man was a dick). both plans very clearly hinge on jimmy and marco appearing as the “suckers” and their ‘victim’ taking advantage of that of their own accord. you see it with the stockbroker he and kim scam in the first episode of s2 as well. they lure him in by presenting themselves as people who have lots of money to invest, don’t know what they’re doing, and are very suggestible and desperate for advice. after they leave he goes, “wow. just... wow.” as if he can’t believe his luck in finding two people with so much money that are so easy to manipulate. if you scam someone by pretending to be a mark, it would follow that the people you scam are people looking for marks, or at least are happy to seize the opportunity when it’s presented to them. even in s6, the first guy we see jimmy scamming as “viktor” is constantly trying to trick him into losing bets, unable to believe jimmy keeps falling for it and yet very much enjoying humiliating him and taking his money. jimmy targets walt, who sees himself as superior to those around him and bullies his wife and jesse more than anyone else, exploiting their emotional entanglement with him. the first person walt singles out to help him in his power trip is a drug addict, someone vulnerable that he feels will be easy to control. he prefers vulnerability to reliability, telling gus that he likes jesse because he can trust him and he does what he tells him to. jimmy never really engages with skyler and jesse in the same way walt does. he actually tries to help skyler deal with the man she cheated on walt with without telling walt, and uses walt’s money to do it. if you wanted to be generous (and i do) you could even read his attitude towards skyler, especially with regards to the car wash, as his half-hearted attempt to prevent her from becoming involved.
however, i think that the most glaring and clearly intentional contradiction in his conman role is his involvement with elder law, elderly people being the quintessential stereotype of a scam victim. despite the fact that “old people love him” and he’s clearly very good at charming them, his elder law practice is genuine. when marco asks if he’s “ripping off old people” he seems somewhat incredulous at the suggestion. far from exploiting them, he actually uncovers and exposes sandpiper crossing for defrauding their residents (a plot which repeatably brings up how vulnerable old people are to abuse and manipulation by citing various legal sanctions). the one time that he does manipulate his former clients as part of a ploy to close the sandpiper suit, his plan would actually result in them getting money, not losing it. when he realizes that his exploitation of their trust had real negative repercussions he calls it off and mitigates the damages by creating a situation that would cause them to see him as the bad guy, the kind of person who actually would happily manipulate and exploit old people without scruples, despite the fact that his elderly clients were some of the only people to genuinely like him. it doesn’t benefit him in any way and he actually says that he really doesn’t want to do it, but he makes the sacrifice anyway because he feels guilty that he exploited their trust in him.
chuck could be taken as another prime example of someone that the typical conman would see as a perfect victim: mentally ill, often desperate, vulnerable, and dependent on him. instead we’re immediately shown how upset jimmy is at the idea that howard is taking advantage of chuck (“wave bye-bye to your cash cow, ‘cause it’s leaving the pasture”). he switches the numbers only after he feels like chuck exploited kim’s hard work just because she had less power than him and he felt entitled to it. he only retaliates against chuck after he feels chuck knowingly and callously twisted his trust and concern against him. at the same time, they make absolutely clear that jimmy holds total legal power over chuck’s autonomy at multiple points and yet he only ever does what he thinks chuck would want him to, no matter how mad he is at him or how badly chuck’s hurt him. he’s uncomfortable with having the power in the first place, the thought of abusing it would never even cross his mind (not necessarily applauding him for this, but it’s still worth pointing out how it subverts the expectations associated with the archetype).
the only thing to snap him out of his dark, pain-fueled scam spiral at the end of the series is marion telling him, “i trusted you.” that phrase triggers something and all the fight appears to go out of him. he was relatively unfazed by the man with cancer, and to be honest, his argument wasn’t totally invalid. while having cancer certainly makes you vulnerable in many ways, it doesn’t really have anything to do with how trusting you are or if you’re easily manipulated or if you manipulate other people. the walt example wasn’t inappropriate. maybe jimmy wouldn’t have been as willing as “saul” or “viktor,” maybe he would, but if you’re looking at the criteria he uses to determine his marks, having cancer really isn’t relevant. this is different though. he’s manipulated plenty of people that may have been more vulnerable, but it’s always in service of a bigger plan and in a way that he thinks won’t hurt them (i.e. manipulating the sandpiper residents but only when he believes they would also benefit and willingly taking a hit to reverse the damage he caused after seeing his mistake). at first the nippy lie did seem to fall into those parameters. he wasn’t trying to hurt her in any way, he just wanted to get to jeff. the bleaker his mental state became, the less consideration he seemed to put into who he was hurting and why, but the second that he became cognizant of the fact that he’d manipulated a vulnerable person into trusting him, then exploited that trust, and was now about to see them suffer for it, he stopped cold. even at his darkest and cruelest, that was a horrifying realization.
none of this is exactly news, but plenty of people exploit and bully those they see as weaker or more vulnerable than them as a way to feel more powerful (walter white is a prime example of that. his entire arc is basically a how-to guide on it.), so i find it interesting that jimmy inverts the conman figure, which does represent that personality type in a lot of ways. his conning is still very much associated with power, but as much as he hates feeling small or weak or vulnerable or exploited or without control, he never turns around and takes it out on someone less powerful. it’s a weak person that claims victory by picking a fight with someone they know can’t hit back. that’s not to say he doesn’t do damage or he never hurts people who don’t deserve to be hurt (whatever that means), but in juxtaposition with walt it works perfectly. both stories follow men who make bad choices in an attempt to stop feeling powerless, but if there’s one thing jimmy’s never been, it’s a bully. to use the archetype of the con artist is genius because once you actually put jimmy in that mold it’s immediately obvious how badly he fits. he’s not shameless. his entire character arc is about shame and desperation for approval from others. he’s not ruthless. he’s overwhelmed by guilt over his own collateral damage. walt is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, using his harmless appearance to trick and attack those more vulnerable than himself. jimmy is a sheep in wolf’s camouflage, trying to cloak his own vulnerability by playing dress up with someone else’s clothes, clothes that never fit quite right.

Ok now future Willow meeting present Hunter (and yeah, greeting him in a way he absolutely dies) I love these sm!!!! 😭😭😭
Okay listen. It’s short and goofy buuuuut I guess we do need to compete the square.
———
Hunter and Luz once again fell from the sky, not too far from where they had originally left but uncertain how far they were from thejr correct time.
“Is portal jumping supposed to make you so nauseous?” Luz inquired, holding her stomach.
“They’re artificial portals, so they’re more unpredictable and less dependable,” said Hunter, feeling equally dizzy.
“Aw, Lilith said the same thing about Eda once,” Luz recalled fondly.
“Nevertheless, we have to be careful,” said Hunter rising to his feet. “We should find the others and make sure we’re in the right-.”
“Hey Gus, I found them!” came a voice down the way and Luz and Hunter saw Willow off in the distance. Luz waved to her friend as she summoned Clover to fly over to them quicker and she couldn’t help but notice her brother watched her silently as a blush crept onto his face.
“Oh look, now you have another chance to ask if she thinks you’re cute,” teased Luz in a whisper.
“Do not mention that,” he said in a panicked whisper of his own.
“Oh c’mon, I don’t think she changed her mind,” said Luz, playfully elbowing his ribs.
“Luz, I’m not gonna let you embarrass me in front of Willow twice in one-.” He was cut off but a blur of green as Willow nearly knocked him over with the force she embraced him with as she hopped off her staff. She trapped his arms at his sides and lifted him off the ground as she spun him around, laughing in delight. When she finally set him down, he attempted to process his feelings to properly greet her but before he could she pulled him down into a firm, eager kiss.
Willow held him down like he was floating way and Hunter became a worthless noodle, a melted popsicle, total putty in her hands. He knees forgot how to work and as soon as Willow released him, he feel straight to the ground like a pile of bricks.
Willow simply giggled and looked at him fondly. “Hi.”
Luz examined the plant witch who stood before her and squinted in suspicion. “Okay, am I crazy or are you-.”
“Oh no, I’m not the Willow you came here with,” she said with a knowing smile. “Well timeline wise at least. Time pools or whatever, ya know? I’m guessing by Hunter’s hair that we’re just a couple months apart.”
“Soooo does that mean in the future, you and Hunter are-.”
“We’re kind of dating, yeah,” she giggled, rocking on her heels as she brushed her hair behind her ear to show off a sparkling gold earring.
“Oh! We’re gonna be sister-in-laws!” Luz squealed. “Oh, wow Amity owes me so much money.”
“Okay, calm down I’m not from that far in the future,” she laughed. “But, I should probably go find my Hunter; this has been happening all day.”
“You just... go around kissing Hunters?” Luz asked.
“Yeah,” she said with a laugh, admiring the passed out boy from the past still laying on the ground. “It’s kinda ma thing.”
“But his hair changes a lot, shouldn’t you be able to tell which Hunter is from the past and which is the one you’re dating?”
“Yeah,” she admitted. “But I guess I just get excited.”
Luz looked down to Hunter on the ground and gently kicked the back of his foot. “Holy cow Willow, I think you killed him.”
“I’m fine!” Hunter insisted enthusiastically from the ground, his voice shaky and whimsical. “I’m totally fine with it! I’m more than fine with it!”
“Awh, he says that every time.” Future Willow said with a smile.

FUCKKKK I ACCIDENTALLY SENT THE TAMLIN ANGST UNFINISHED ANYWAY HERE'S THE OTHER THING I WAS GONNA SAY: The ride to the human lands was just another addition of humiliation. It was a painful reminder that winnowing, something he'd once done with ease, was something well beyond his reach now. Would take far too much of his power to do so. Not like he thought there would be major threats in the human lands, but Tamlin wasn't taking any chances, particularly in his vulnerable state. Weak- he hadn't felt this weak since he was under his father's thumb, mercilessly getting abused and thrown to do unseeming tasks. Amarantha had somehow made him feel like a helpless little boy again. They had all been such fools to fall for her ploy. The whole ride there, one word rung through his head: Andras. Andras. Andras. He wished his brain would shut up. He wished he didn't have a conscience. Maybe if he didn't have a conscience, he could've willingly submit to Amarantha's demands and spared Prythian. Shut up, he told himself. It was an effort to remind himself that Amarantha was wicked and would likely have not been satisfied with Tamlin's mere body. She would've taken something from him that would break him permanently. Tamlin stared blankly at the forest. He could smell Andras's scent around here, but his body was nowhere to be found. He also found another scent: human, and very bitter, angry. Boy did Tamlin know how that felt. He wasn't sure if this little girl could handle the level of bitterness and rage in Tamlin's veins. As Tamlin finally tracked the human's scent to her house, he shapeshifted, listening to Lucien. He had never led him wrong so far, so he would listen now, much as he had dismissed his advice earlier. Wow. This is appalling. Tamlin's house was not nearly nice or large compared to some High Lords', he knew, but he suddenly realized how privileged he was when he stared at the hovel that was this human's house. Did all humans live like this? Poor and dirty and worthless? A pang went through Tamlin at the thought. Had the humans escaped slavery only to suffer in poverty for eternity? He threw open the door, and saw several thing happen: saw an innocent-looking, doe eyed girl cower in fear, a fiery woman with silver eyes move in front of her to cover her, and another similar looking woman stand in front of them all, refusing to cower. The doe-eyed one must be the youngest, then. The one who glared up at him was clearly the breadwinner. There was no way the father was getting anything done with that ruined leg. What had happened to him to make him like that? Tamlin didn't let himself think about it. The tang of fear was so strong it threatened to make Tamlin vomit. But he stared at the girl, so clearly malnourished and starving, and knew that Prythian was doomed. A girl that desperate, resentful, and angry? How would she fall for him? Ever? But Tamlin owed it to all of Prythian to try, at least. So he snarled at the girl like the beast he was, and took her back with him.
ehehhdjxjksnskskdksjrjejhehejdianxjaj
I love book one Tam I can’t and will not get over him and what we could have had. Love the creativity showcased here Amita. Specially with Tam’s monologue as he followed Andras’ scent. My man deserved better.

My Happy Marriage Episode 4 Review: Kiyoka Is The Best Husband
I apologize that this review came out late. I’ve been busy with writing chapters for my internet novel Lavender Eyes that I didn’t have time to watch My Happy Marriage until now. While this episode had moments that angered me, it also made me tear up a bit. Also, excuse my language in this review because I don’t have pleasant things to say for some parts of this episode.
Tumblr media
The part that angered me was, of course, the scenes with Miyo’s scumbag family members. Miyo’s family is absolute shit. Her biological father developed no love for his first daughter because she lacked powers. It’s boggling that his love is only worth something if his child has power. What an absolute trash bag of a father he is. The fact that this is can apply to Asian families in real life hurts even more. Because her father finds her worthless, he was the reason why Kaya ended up the spiteful, entitled brat that she is. Miyo’s stepmother is a bitch and it’s because of her that Kaya became the way she is. I don’t care if Kaya’s attitude and behavior is because of how she was raised, she still engaged in abusing her sister and still does it to this day, meaning she enjoys doing it like the psychopathic bitch she is. The fact that she develops a liking to Kiyoka pisses me off even more given how bratty she is. Kaya is exactly the type of girl Kiyoka LOATHES because his previous fiancees were all gold-diggers and only saw him as a way for climb up the social ladder. Kaya only finds his exterior attractive.
Speaking of Kiyoka, he was an absolute JOY to watch. He visits Miyo’s crap family and tells them that if they don’t apologize to Miyo for all the abuse she had to endure from them, he won’t give them anything in return; he’s basically saying that he won’t give them money or associate them as his in-laws. He’s written absolutely well. He’s not someone who miscommunicates with Miyo or is dumb enough to believe in lies. He’s someone who believes in the truth and in love because he loves Miyo.
The fact that he figured out something was wrong with Miyo after she returned from her outing and wanted to do something to bring back the confidence and brightness she had before. He wrote a letter to someone and that was when Hana, Miyo’s former attendant, came to visit her and encouraged her to be confident and content with her current life.
Miyo feeling like she’s happy with her life but then regressing back to her old self was heartbreaking to see. Miyo finally felt like she had a place to belong, but when Kaya came in, everything got ruined. The fact that she decided to hyper fixate on making a hair tie for Kiyoka and looked rather out of it when she was done showed how bad her issues are. The way her voice actress voiced her so soft spoken to the point of being a mumbling robot was extremely good voice acting. Wow. I’m impressed.
The fact that she realized how much she is loved and worth from Hana is so well-written. Sometimes, people in despair just need that extra push to be able to move on. What Miyo needed was encouragement that everything is going to be okay and that she has people who care about her. The way she was moved to tears when she learned that it was her husband-to-be that sent a letter for her to come to the Kudou manor to see her tugged my heart.
She told Kiyoka of her secrets and how that she’s nothing special despite being a daughter of a wealthy family, but he already knew. He doesn’t care and that he only wants her to be his wife. The way he hugged her so tenderly and how she accepted it back made me so emotional. Man, Kiyoka’s such a good man. The fact that he didn’t expect much from Miyo from when he first met her to falling for her gentle soul speaks so much; the fact that she was so different from his previous fiancees speaks so much in volume. Please only let good things happen to them from now on.
Koji’s brother Kazushi makes his debut in this episode. He doesn’t have much screen time, but all that is told from his 1 minute screen time is that he has abilities and that he doesn’t take his responsibilities seriously. He also teased Koji about being too nice to the point of being unkind. I feel like that’s Koji’s character in general. He’s a nice guy, but he didn’t do anything to stop Kaya from abusing Miyo despite being in love with her. I think Kazushi’s role is to foreshadow that aspect of him. Will he be more of a spineless coward in future episodes?
Wow, I wrote a lot for this review. I can’t help it. The episode was such a rollercoaster. I can’t wait for what’s to come next week as it feels as if something bad is going to happen now that Mr. Tatsuishi is trying to use Kaya in his plans to get his hands on Miyo. What are your thoughts on this episode and how much do you want to punch all of Miyo’s abusive family members in the face? I certainly want to beat the crap out of them and have them get a taste of their own medicine.

Any thoughts on the leaks from the new chapter??
I really enjoyed the dialogue between izuku and tomura this chapter, especially that unhinged look on izukus face as he says he'll rip the damn rug/cover with his own hands if he has too. And that last panel between izuku and toshi, the "you can be a hero!" scene but now saying he needs to let go of ofa...wow, cinema.
Overall i liked it, but I feel a bit aprehensive about certain things, especially after seeing opinions on twt. I knew izuku would most likely give up ofa at the end of the series, so im sad about it (dont get me wrong, izuku giving up ofa of all things so he can save tomura is beautiful,,,,, but im just a big fan of izuku with ofa and everything that it means 😭 i want him to keep his haunted quirk and ofamily). But then on twt everyone was so hyped up and talking about izuku getting New Order.. which left me confused not gonna lie, bc other than Star pointing at something, I didn't get any idea of Izuku getting her quirk. But again, my reading analysis could be in the mud lol. Some say Aura Might is gonna give up his place for Star in ofa, or afo is joining the fight with his trump card, others say the quirk will spread to class 1A, so when izuku opens the vault door, the vestiges of 1A will help him. I have no idea, anything is possible i suppose. As for izuku, while I think at some point he will give up ofa, I think he might hesitate at first (??) Like toshinori, he connects his worth to having a quirk, so emotionally speaking it won't be easy for him in my opinion. But let's see!
I'm gonna be a bit mean for a second and say that "Izuku getting New Order" and "Class 1A shares OFA (Monoma Neito found dead in Miami)" are by far my least favorite fandom theories lmfao.
Anyway, you're definitely right on the money about this also being a battle Re: Izuku's own self perception and who he is without OFA. Izuku and Tomura's biggest hang ups boil down to how they both perceive themselves and how that perception was essentially forced onto both of them by other people until they both internalized it as "fundamentally true" (Izuku believing that he's worthless/useless, Tomura believing that he's evil and that he's having a ~peachy-keen~ time rn). Chapter 412/413 have set the stage for this conflict to finally come to the forefront, so I'm excited to see where things go.
As for Star, people who believe her quirk is "the will of heroism that's gonna get passed on to Izuku" are missing the point of her character, I feel. Star's quirk was cool, but it was also another shining example of a quirk "not being what makes someone an actual hero"-- Star used her quirk to do some pretty fucked up things during her fight with TomurAFO, and ultimately, the moments where she chose NOT to use her quirk and chose NOT to prioritize "the greater good" over everything else are actually her defining heroic moments:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(^ the implication of this scene being that her vestige stopped short of obliterating AFO because she found Tenko hidden inside him)
Izuku has already inherited "the will of heroism" as Star defines it. The will of heroism is more or less "noticing that someone needs help and choosing to act on it." There is beauty in simplicity and trying to work "Izuku obtaining new order" into the mix takes the focus away from that, I feel. Star notices Tenko needs help, and instead of using the last embers of her existence to extinguish AFO, she instead uses those embers to reach out to Toshi and point out where Tenko has hidden himself. Toshi alerts Kudou, who then decides to place his faith in Izuku's ability to save Tomura's heart, and so on and so forth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(A certain someone else also inherited that will, but he's just being a massive fucking tsundere about it. Can't wait for someone to finally call his ass out when the inevitable mind-meld happens.) (/hj)
Anyway, I feel u regarding the OFA vestiges-- but at the same time, I think it's good that they're finally being allowed some autonomy in how they choose to go out considering how they lived/died in the first place. I still maintain that we're gonna end up whittling OFA down to Yoichi, Toshi, and Nana bc they're the three most deeply connected to Tomura (in addition to having the most unresolved feelings and lingering regrets centered around Tomura/AFO). I also think it's pretty neat how "One for All" is now coming apart at the seams because they're starting to work together for "the one" rather than the "all," if you catch my drift ;)

I find it really interesting that you so-called “sympathetic” Danganronpa fans are always harping on about the tragedies of the characters played by *REAL LIFE ACTORS* rather than the later seasons when the showrunners recruited and killed *TEENAGERS* for money and views. It’s one level of wrong to be a fan of the show and still acknowledge its problems, especially with the newer releases. It’s something else entirely to still be talking about seasons one, two, three…and completely ignore the ongoing human rights violation that is modern day Danganronpa. You people disgust me. I sincerely wish you could take a better look at the media you consume, because it’s actually, LITERALLY killing people.

Of course Akk said it for the first time like that lol
OKAY gotta be honest everything came out in a neat little bow almost exactly the way I thought it would. And that was amazing but also less terrifying than I thought it would be. THe show didn't lie and it was well foreshadowed, I thought something would twist on me but it didn't (Except that Chadok was in deeper than I thought with the uncle) and I love that because the answers all made sense. I don't think we're done though, quencies gotta happen right?
