haru is the worlds specialest unmedicated bisexual menace with a gnc swag who skips and smiles thru the horrors while having the best gay sex filled summer vacation of his life ever topping previously-straight men 🥳🥳🥳!!!!
REAL ANSWER: haru is the protagonist of the 2013 r18 bl game “NO, THANK YOU!!!” by parade and he is one of my favouritest characters ever 🥹…!
this got long so i put the rest under the readmore 🥹🥹🥹
at the beginning of the game he sees a man named inui kouichi about to get hit by a car, jumps to push him out of the way, and gets hit instead. he loses his memories because of this. due to not knowing basic details like his name or age, kouichi decides to offer him a job at his bar, sótano, while he recovers! will haru get his memories back…!? will romance blossom between him and his coworkers…!? i wonder…!!!
he is 22 years old(?) and canonically bisexual! he loves pools, bean daifuku, corn on the cob, and boobs! the quote used on his official profile is “all right, i’ve got it! let’s have sex!” he has a childish curiosity about everything and operates under an indecipherable set of principles. (<- also from his official profile)
hes definitely not for everybody bc hes always saying shit like this ↓…
and he likes to test peoples boundaries… and he sometimes does morally questionable things… but i think he is not only really cute but also a really relatable representation of…! well…! brain damage. mental illness. being a bisexual guy with a high ponytail who wants to fuck big hairy titted old guys… he’s just a silly imp who goes through a lot but stays optimistic despite it all…!!! i love him so much 🥹 hes literally this ↓ ok. Do you trust me
if ur interested in playing nty PLEASEEE make sure you check out the content warnings! 🥹🥹🥹 if you want more detail on those or the recommended route order or any other info, feel free to send me another ask…!
Will never stop thinking about how Leo, all alone in an endless void and being beaten again and again and again by the only other living thing around, still finds comfort in that space. The situation he was in was completely hopeless, and in any other circumstances he would not have escaped, at least not fast enough to save him from permanent (or even fatal) damage, be it physical or mental.
And yet, despite the bleakness of his situation, despite the agony and helplessness, all he needs is one glance at a crumbled photograph, one glance to remember his family, and that’s enough of a reason for him to smile.
Maybe that’s why his powers center around manipulating space - because no matter how much space is between them, no matter how dire his own situation may be, just the thought of his family, alive and okay, is enough to give Leo hope.
yea miraculous sucks but honestly they kinda popped off with a magical cat boy whose special magical weapon against evil is a lead pipe and the special magical power of stage 4 necrosis
I’ve seen a few of the ghosts regent ideas floating around, but pair that with adoptive dad Jason.
Jason adopts Danny but because he died, came back, and took a green soup dip Jason ends up accidentally adopting Danny in both the living realm and the GZ/IR. Danny being only 15 in human years and 1 in ghost years may be the current king, but he’s too young to be considered the formal ruler for events and realm rituals. So Jason has to take brakes from being the Red Hood every few weeks to basically put blob ghosts in a fancy circle and glare at unruly citizens.
Jason takes care of Danny and keeps the Bats from crowding and stressing him out. He also lets Danny help with vigilante stuff by working on evacuation plans, non lethal weaponry, medical training, and other things that won’t put him in danger or directly in the field.
Eventually the Red Hood gets captured by cultists along with a few of the other bats, all of them are tied to poles and fighting to escape their bindings. Then Jason hears what they’re supposedly going to summon, “The tyrant of the dead! The King of the Infinite Realm!” Jason stops fighting against his bindings and has to try not to choke or die again from laughing too hard while telling them they were about to do the stupidest thing they ever had.
The cultists say he “won’t be laughing for much longer” and to “shut up” and begin to summon the King. The entire area starts glowing green and the temperature drops, everyone can see their breath, the lights are flickering, and citrus scented neon green smoke begins spreading and forming a humanoid shape. At the same time the Red Hood vanishes, his bindings falling to the floor.
The cultists excitingly finish the ritual and while the figure is still cloaked in smoke tell it they prepared sacrifices for it. The smoke fades and standing fully armed ready to fight is the Red Hood. He tells the cultists to Run and that he told them they were going to regret this.
After Jason beats the cultists and the Bats get free they ask him how he did it. Jason responds by saying the King didn’t sign the Summoning permission slip so he can’t be summoned. This just leaves them more confused.
Jason heads back home to tell Danny what happened and that he should change the King’s summoning requirements.

Something about having absolutely no choice in who you marry. About being literally forced by the law to spill blood - to accept this stranger as your husband over a man you truly care for or accept the fact that the man you love might die because you put him in danger. Something about risking becoming the wife of a man you've never even seen before a few minutes prior because you know anything would be better than putting your beloved in harm's way. Something about the trust inherent in that decision and in the way she speaks of it after.
Truthfully, T'Pring doesn't know the captain and she doesn't know Spock. Either one of them could have taken her as their wife but she does know Stonn. She knows that Stonn will remain by her side no matter what. They made a plan together. They have an agreement which T'Pring believes will be upheld even though the plan changed with the arrival of Kirk. Stonn will always be there, always, and Stonn will be hers.
Something about the language used around T'Pring: Ownership, subservience, non-personhood. T'Pring is an object that Spock can win. She cannot reject him, she has no say in the matter other than having Stonn 'claim' her instead. Even when Spock leaves after being very clearly rejected by T'Pring he says "Stonn, she is yours." as if despite her clear rejection he still owns her and is must formally 'give' her to Stonn. But the language T'Pring uses around Stonn is a break from that: "There was Stonn who wanted very much to be my consort, and I wanted him."
Stonn who wanted very much to be HER consort and she WANTED him. The language here is very particular - It's not, for example: "Stonn wanted me to be his wife" - he is HERS. And she WANTS him. There's a mutual affection there and a strong trust - a trust which seems to be well founded since Stonn (though silent) stands by her side at the end of the episode. <- That might seem small but if Spock would reject her for 'daring to challenge' (again, the language is not 'because I don't want you' but more of an implied disgust at her having the AUDACITY to reject him) then it's not a stretch to assume that it'd be considered an insult in the TOS Vulcan society to NOT choose Stonn as her champion after a prior agreement.
Anyway T'Pring was a woman in an impossible situation within a society which saw her as more of an object than a person and she wanted Stonn and Stonn wanted to be hers and she trusted that he would understand if she had to publicly pick someone else to ensure his life would be spared and he did understand.
to me, wriolette is the scene from fleabag where she says “i love you” to the priest and he (also in love with her) just says “it’ll pass,” and also on that note clorinde and wriothesley’s friendship is the scene from fleabag where she’s like “i met someone” and her friend is like “wow that’s so great, what does he do?” and she says “he’s a priest” and her friend drops her head into her hands and fleabag looks directly into the camera with a smile :)
starstruck and meta knight (gen... ish?) ; liar by the Arcadian Wild
i sense deception to come,
honestly, truth and i are never one
coz i am the lying man,
and i have made you my next victim
oh, i need you to see through my act,
to tell me i'm wrong, to take off the mask
or else i'll be left in the lie,
and i'll deceive my way straight to demise
I genuinely believe Naksu haunts the narrative. Her actions and existence as Naksu heavily impact the entire story. Her past, the life she lived and the shadow of it in Mudeok. But we don't actually know any of it because Naksu is not in the story.
Like. What she lost as Cho Yeong is something that we are never allowed to forget, the loss of her body, her powers, her freedom, and her impending death as a soul shifter hangs over Mudeok's head like guillotine.
All the while we don't actually know the Shadow Assassin Naksu, she died in the first episode, as soon as the story began. Other than training and killing (soul shifters) what kind of person was she when she didn't have to rely on another person else or hide or live as someone else? We don't know and we don't ever learn any of that.
Still, her absence is the plot, yet her former existence as Naksu influences everything; Yul's actions and what she was to him, Jang Uk's goal of returning her powers, the revelation of soul shifters to Park Jin, Jang Gang's departure, Jin Mu's accomplishments, the King's Star even.
Everything is about her existence but she doesn't actually exist at all anymore.
Eddie's never been the class clown. Oh, he'll crack a joke—usually when it's inappropriate—and he enjoys making people laugh, but it's not something he has to do. And maybe he doesn't take seriously the things people think he should, but that's because the things other people think he should take seriously are bullshit. But it doesn't make him the clown. That’s not a part he wants to play.
He prefers to stir shit up. Keep people on their toes. Cause a little trouble.
But then there’s Steve. Steve. It's just... Making him laugh, it's infectious. Addictive. Eddie could drown in his laugh and die a happy man.
So, yeah, he's happy to play the jester to Steve's king (no, not king, he's— The son of a duke, or earl, some member of court, the hapless jester falls for hopelessly) and it's enough. The little huffed laughs, the full body ones. The way his eyes crinkle and he dips his head. The way his bottom lip catches in his teeth. The thing his jaw does when he's trying not to laugh.
And it’s enough. It is. It’s just, sometimes…
Sometimes Eddie wants. More than making Steve laugh.
He wants to make Steve smile, not because he cracked a joke or pulled a stupid stunt, but just because. He wants to make Steve look at him the way he used to see him look at Wheeler, sometimes.
Fuck, he wants... He wants to make Steve love him. And he doesn't know how because you don't make people fall in love with you, right? There's not a lot he knows about love, but he knows that. People fall in love or they don't.
And he wouldn't make Steve, even if he could.
But he wants and he wants and he wants.
It gets so big that it pushes out the enough Eddie feels when Steve laughs, when his eyes crinkle, when his jaw does that thing when he’s trying not to laugh. Overwhelms it.
And Eddie hates that. He hates it. Steve’s laugh—making Steve laugh—was the best thing. The best feeling. Eddie chases it and chases it and he doesn’t know if Steve even knows and then—
And then, one day, Steve looks at him and he smiles for no reason Eddie can think of and it's enough again.
