hi I'm obsessed with your ngc hospital au, I need more hcs if you have any pls pls

one note on this, i haven't fully decided what everyone is, but I think i want the ngc to be like full staff, and if they're staff at the imaginary hospital the involved first years are residents at the moment. It gives the NGC more authority and more room for FY to mess up (Third gen Captains???? idk i'd prefer to include tsuki over yamaguchi at least as a doctor anyway, Yamaguchi would be office staff if anything). I will attempt to organize my thoughts on this.

Okay, New Gen Captains first

So, i want to switch Futakuchi and Shirabu's focus so that Futakuchi is the emergency doctor and Shirabu is in general surgery. It feels more Futakuchi's speed, he's not always in control but it takes it head on, where Shirabu is more of a controller he gets things where they need to be. Though I do still think Shirabu takes shifts in the ER relatively often.

It might be a little projecting but Shirabu has moments where he kind of zones out when lots of stuff is happening around him, like everyone else is moving in slow-mo, especially if he's overstimulated. He likes a quiet OR with the beeping of monitors to focus on.

Shirabu sees a lot of different things and maybe it's a research hospital, and because of that Konoha is always approaching him about drug trials and getting involved. He doesn't have to tell the pretty doctor that he just wants an excuse to talk to him.

I've mentioned it but i'm gonna reiterate and add, Yahaba has the steadiest hand in the office, his stitches are the cleanest and his hand writing is the neatest, the nurses appreciate it. But he also takes a little bit longer in surgery.

The doctor the nurses like the best though? Kanoka. No doubt. I think her and Aone would be good friends.

Sakusa cannot be interrupted when scrubbing in or else he starts over.

Sakusa has terrible bedside manner, he's so blunt about it, but he's very very good at his job. He knows the brain\nerves hardware not the software, emotions are Akaashi's job.

Sakusa and Akaashi actually get along really well, 2 weirdos. Though Sakusa will not go in Akaashi's apartment ever, it's a mess it's terrible.

Hoshiumi is the most chaotic doctor, he's a trauma surgeon so naturally he spends most of his time on call in the emergency room. But he's not great at sitting still so, he likes to just show up places. (others that like to just show up: Usuri)

Terushima is also chaotic, but not while at work. He gets so focused and is very efficient. He is however the one trying to wrangle the NGC for after work activities along with Yamamoto and Atsumu

Ennoshita and Yamamoto end up interacting a lot, because Yamamoto's patients often need some course of physical therapy.

First Years!

Tsukishima as a Resident along with Goshiki but he spends more time with Akaashi in the psych department, so he'd have the plot line of understanding and like working through his problems with trusting people through what he sees at work. Mentor figure akaashi??? accidental mentor?

Speaking of Goshiki, I think Shirabu cannot handle him alone he needs a buffer in almost every situation but Shirabu is always surprised/impressed with how he completely changes when in surgery, kid knows what he's doing he's just excitable and a little full of himself

Koganegawa is an emergency med resident, he's really good at working the odd hours and bouncing from case to case. He knows what he's doing but he can be a bit much for people

I want to include Kindaichi and Teshiro too, but I'm not sure where they'll fit in

ROOMMATES!!!!!! and general living situation HCs

Yahaba and Shirabu

they're odd roommates both bring a bit of rich kid energy but very differently like Shirabu has a really minimalist way about things, whereas Yahaba is a trinkets person he's photos up everywhere, he's got little collections, he's decorated they're living room, he has a cat that roams the apartment and acts like it hates Shirabu but sleeps in his laundry

Ennoshita and Daichi (who is a paramedic in this)

childhood friends to roommates, it makes their families happy to know they're together

Tsukki, Goshiki, and Koganegawa

that one is a mess for a while, but they coexist fine, Kogane works weird hours whereas the other two have more regular schedules. They all have time when they're the only one there (that's awake at least)

Futakuchi has a tiny 1 bed apartment because it's all he could afford in the city when he first got there and he never got around to finding a better place. He'll argue it's closer and he can walk to work, so it's better, but no one else agrees

Sakusa and Komori

The place is spotless, except for Komori's room (still clean but typical clutter, ya know). He keeps common spaces clean for Sakusa's sake though.

Anyway I'm super happy someone else is maybe invested in this as much as I am!

Hinata Sora

Shoyou’s actual twin with Kenma’s eye color. Smart but chaotic, like really chaotic. Smol. Best friend’s with Akio and Keisuke. He and Toshiyo are good friends too, if he feels too much like a third wheel around Akio and Keisuke he’ll drag Toshiyo into the mix whenever he can. Has a little sister named Kotori. They are bubbly and he and his sister are the light of their parents' eyes. As oblivious as his parents can be about romance, he inherited the same trait and he doesn’t know Ushijimaten is crushing on him hard. The only rebellious thing he ever did in his life was randomly get his ears pierced with his three best friends to which it was Akio’s idea. Loves gaming but isn’t as good as Kenma lol but his imagination is as active as both his parents. Games with Ten too who is way better than him for no good reason. Is smart but Akio often has to remind him to use his brain.

Kuroo Akio

Tol emo angel that’s usually the smartest person in the room but lowkey, lowkey has a temper. Has Kei’s features like hair and eye color but a mix of his parent’s looks. Wears glasses but always forgets them, only remembers to bring them if Sora or his parents mention it but most of the time barely listens to his parents. Has strong feelings for Keisuke he just hasn’t decided if they’re positive or negative yet tho they’re bros.

Kageyama Toshiyo

Shy and reserved, between Sora and Akio’s heights. Dark hair like Kageyama and eyes like Tadashi and freckles. Friends with Sora only so he claims. Has 99 problems and Haru is like 75% of them.

Bokuto Keisuke

Newly 16 tho lol. Has Kou’s wild dual colored hair and Keiji’s eyes. Akio is his best bro and he’s really close with Sora too. He and Akio dance around eachother as Sora puts it. Has messy hair to his shoulders and refuses to get a haircut. Heart of gold, head empty tho. Drags Akio into social situations, likes gaming as much as Sora.

Sawamura Himawari

Has Suga’s soft features and hair color but Daichi’s eyes. Manages karasuno's boys volleyball team. She’s tired of the boys wanting more girl friends. Her and her siblings are her parents’ world. Has a crush on Akio’s sister she thinks no one knows about.

Ushijima Ten

Looks a lot like Ushijima but can have Tendou’s wild side when it comes to Sora. Has a smol crush on him everyone but him knows about. Is naturally good at anything he tries and shows Sora how to game better. Shinji’s his best friend that encouraged him to spend more time with his crush through online gaming.

Iwaizumi Haru

Looks like Oikawa but has dark hair like Iwa, has a tol crush on Toshiyo. Has dual extroverted personalities that neither of his parents can quite attribute to themselves exactly.

Shirabu Shinji

Looks a lot like Semi with his features but is a prodigy but lazy. He can be as sassy as Shirabu on the rare occasions he’s pissed off tho. Ten is the only person he knows that he hasn’t clashed with at one point probably also because Ten is rarely if ever bothered enough to care. Clashes with Haru whenever they are in close proximity of each other. Also has a problem with Miya Yukio but doesn’t know it’s just because he’s crushing on him. Can always tell the difference between him and his twin and the fake triplet cousin.

Sakusa Ame

Calm Ambivert who is mostly unaffected by the thought of germs but feels closer to his uncles and cousins than his sibling and parents because he feels he saw them less growing up. Looks more like Atsumu and can get mistaken as a triplet to his twin cousins. Good friends with Sora and Keisuke.

Miya Yukio

Him and his twin Yushiro take after Osamu and their uncle heavily in looks along with their cousin Ame. It almost scares the adults. Is cocky when he’s annoyed, reserved and intelligent. Gets along with Sora and Keisuke surprisingly well. Clashes with Shinji in one sided beef on Shinji’s part.

It's so weird to me how I'll only generate content for media I am in a love hate relationship with (DC, Marvel, BNHA) yet won't do much with the media I genuinely love (Ace Attorney, Haikyuu).

Like yes I do have fanfictions about media I love, but will I ever post them? That's between me and the forces of the universe.

✎ i love my cat, and when i was watching him look out the window, i came up with this set of scenarios for our haikyuu boys. dw, i am still working on finishing the rest of the requests so i can open the ask box again. lmk if you want to see more though, and i hope you enjoy!

➽ KUROO easily attracts cats anytime he walks or goes for jogs around the neighborhood. As a result, he carries treats in his pocket to feed the hungry felines. However, when he reached the front door of your shared home, Kuroo noticed a small, black kitten with bright, yellow eyes walking up to the porch ahead of him.

He couldn’t resist, so he picked up the cat and entered the house. When you looked up from the TV in your living room, you spotted your partner carefully walking up to you, and instantly, your eyes widened. Needless to say, the two of you kept the cat that oddly looked similar to a certain rooster-haired former middle blocker.

➽ BOKUTO would be the quietest he has ever been as he’s entering your shared home. You’re usually cooking dinner in the kitchen for when Bokuto comes back from his volleyball practice and are used to the boisterous sound of your partner entering the house.

However, when you heard the front door open and close with not even a single shout towards you, you turned curiously in that direction. Bokuto quietly greeted you as he entered the kitchen, carefully holding onto a tiny, tabby kitten. When you questioned your partner about the origins of the kitten, he told the story about how he found the kitten cuddling with his fresh, warm clothes in his gym bag. You looked down at the cat, and the multi-colored haired kitten stared at you with big, round, blue eyes. Just as you were about to make your decision, you looked up to find a matching set of eyes peering over at you. It’s very hard to say no to two pairs of cutesy eyes.

➽ KENMA was streaming when he spotted a feline from the corner of his brownish eyes. His window was open to allow some of the cold, night air in as he was streaming since it was hot in his office. Kenma had never expected to see a cat try to squeeze itself through the small opening between the window and the windowsill. He had to ask chat whether he should bring the cat inside, and a string of positive replies rolled down one of his monitors.

So, he proceeded to take his headset off and bring the cat inside of the office, showcasing it to the camera that was set up above his monitor. And, just like that, Kenma continued playing his game on stream with the kitten now comfortably sleeping in his lap. When his stream was over and you had come into his office, you were shocked to see a new member in the room. There were no words exchanged between you nor Kenma about the mutual agreement to keep the cat.

➽ OIKAWA had just escaped from the paparazzi and his screaming fans after he had won another game. It was a tradition for him to go to some restaurant near the arena he just played in to get some takeout for you and him to have dinner at home with. When he was coming out from the restaurant with the bagged food in his hand, Oikawa heard something messing around with objects in the alleyway next to the restaurant.

Curious, he walked into the alleyway, and immediately, his eyes landed on a tiny, tuxedo patterned kitten nibbling on a piece of raw, skinless fish. Oikawa carefully approached the little guy and began to untie the bag to feed him little pieces of the food he had ordered. The kitten would not stop rubbing against Oikawa’s feet and legs, so like many people, his hand reached down to pick up the cat. Needless to say, the conversation he had with you upon arriving home with a kitten was an interesting one, and thankfully, you were on board with keeping him.

Uncle Osamu!! (From Haikyuu) Summary: After getting pregnant by Rin at the age of 16, deciding that not telling him about is the best thing you could do for him. Considering his soccer career, you would only get in the way. I always imagined their red hair, the same shade as taylor swift from the all-too-well short film. It's such a beautiful shade!!! Rei's hair is also like that.

Life with Rei was hard at first, but we managed. For the first few years, we were staying with my parents, They were kind enough to take care of her while I was at school. I did get bullied for getting pregnant, some even spread rumors that I was “easy” to get in bed with. The good thing was that I didn’t get expelled. There were times that I regretted things that had happened. But one hour of playing with Rei immediately erased those thoughts. I also kept tabs on my baby daddy (hehe I had to lol) he got recruited for a france football club and his path to becoming a pro is in front of him. And it will be quite scandalous to reveal that he got someone pregnant at 16.

After high school, I went to college and did a business course.

Fast forward to now, Rei is 8 years old now, I work a corporate job at Mikage Corp. Whenever Rei is at school I was at work. Then I would pick her up from school, Unless I need to work overtime, I have her uncle pick her up. Or my mom, We lived in the same area. I couldn’t stray far away from them when I still needed their help with rei. We weren’t living under the same roof anymore because we moved to an apartment closer to my work, but they’d babysit Rei whenever I was not home.

As of now, rei hadn’t been asking questions about her dad. Which was good. I also stray her away from the tv whenever a football match with Paris X gen was playing. By refusing to let her see him, I was only preventing her from getting any ideas. I should have probably told that detail to Osamu before letting him babysit her.

Getting out of my car, I looked up at the sign “Onigiri Miya” It was already closed because it was 9 pm already. When I entered the threshold, I expected an Osamu with rei beside her asleep or close enough to that, but no.

What welcomed me was Rei watching TV about a soccer interview, I looked at the two logos of the teams, and what I saw were the familiar logos of PXG and Bastard Munchen. They were interviewing a guy named Michael Kaiser, a player from bastard munchen, titled the MVP of their lost game.

Then came on an even more familiar face.

It flashed his name, Rin Itoshi

“Mama!”

I FLinched at her call, I looked at her and she was smiling widely with stars in her eyes.

“I watched the whole game!! And they were amazing!!! I liked the team with the big X in their logo, WHat are they called Mom?? Do you know?? And when is their next game, Mom?? I really wanna watch them again!! They were amazing!! Especially that guy with the bald head!! I think his name is Loki. And that guy with dark hair!! AND HE HAS THE SAME EYES AS ME ISN’T THAT COOL!!?!!?!?!”

“Yes, yes love that super cool. Look You can ask me questions later but I need to talk to uncle osamu first ok??”

She only nodded excitedly as she continued watching the interview with her dad. I made my way to the kitchen where I saw Osamu wiping some plates.

“Oh- You’re here, Don’t worry I fed her something healthy if that’s what you’re worried about- OW! What was that for!?!??!?! Are ye’ crazy?!?!?!”

“What were you thinking letting her watch his match???”

I looked at him as if he was a creature from another world. Then I got a hold of his hair and started pulling

“HEY! STOP IT! Look! It wasn’t my fault, the last customer I served changed the channel to the game and I couldn’t just tell him not to. And I tried to change the channel ok?? But she wouldn’t let me, she was too amazed by the game that she watched the whole match from start to finish. Heh, she is his daughter”

I let go of his hair, and he muttered a small thank you, but I still slapped his chest. I sighed, contemplating what I was gonna do next.

“Plus, what’s the big deal? It’s not like she’s gonna immediately ask whether Rin is her father right? And she’s just probably gonna ask you about the team. So stop freaking out, and go home. I need to close up.”

I sighed, I thanked Osamu for taking care of Rei. I got out of the kitchen and saw Rei still watching the interview for the game.

“C’mon rei, let’s go home, grab your stuff”

“Ok, mama!” She happily slid from her chair and walked with me to the exit. I yelled goodbye to Osamu before we closed the door and went inside the car.

“Neh, mama. Can you answer my questions now?”

“Sure love, ask away”

She squealed happily as she asked her questions about Rin’s team along with a few soccer questions, which I answered to the best of my abilities, I wasn’t a soccer expert, So I told her that I’ll do a little research so that I can answer her questions.

Thankfully she agreed, she was quiet for a moment, but after a few minutes of quiet, I noticed that she had fallen asleep. I smiled at her and focused on my driving.

“Look, Mom! I got accepted to a soccer club!!”

I stared at the paper she was holding, it was a list of names that were accepted to the soccer club at her school, and her name was listed at the top, with a title at the side that said, Striker

‘Just like your father huh’

When her obsession with soccer began, I didn't take it that seriously, I thought that it was just a phase. So I brought her a soccer ball, and some cleats and we would go to a big field every weekend for her to play soccer. During that time I was thinking that what if she was as great a soccer player as her father? Back then it was just a fever dream. But right now, it might become a reality.

I didn't even know she tried out for the team. But apparently, she did. And she got accepted. Then I got flashbacks of when Rin and I were kids and he had just recently joined a soccer club.

"Look Y/n!! I got accepted see?!?!?!"

"Wow!! Congrats Rin!!"

He smiled at me as he looked at the jersey in his hands that said 'Itoshi'

Now I finally get to play with my brother!!!

I smiled as I looked at Rei, who was already tying her shoes so that we could go to the soccer field so she could practice a bit before her official p meeting with the team tomorrow.

My relationship was something that you wouldn't find in any normal relationship

And that's what I liked about it. Even after we moved, even after he changed, after his brother neglected him and left him, he was still that person who you can call at night to vent to. And he would listen, and he would be on your side no matter what.

But he had a dream, a passion, a strong ambition to achieve. And even I couldn't compete with that. But I knew that. And you didn't forcefully squeeze yourself inside his life, that's not what he needed anyway. What he needed was just someone who he knew would always be right there. Even if your guys don't talk after months, just one hi and his world is spinning in a new different direction, even if it's just for one night.

And you could only imagine the hurt that Rin had felt when you changed your number to a new one. His something different was gone now. He had held on to you because you know him better than anyone else. No one could compare to what you and Rin had.

Rin tried to reach out to you, and he did. But all of your accounts were deactivated (because of your pregnancy, you decided to lay low and deleted all of your social media accounts, along with getting a new number)

Rin will never forget that night. More like he couldn't, he was kind of upset that you had left so early without him knowing.

Thus his never-ending despair began.

"Mom! I have a game tomorrow at 3, is it possible that you can watch it? It's my very first game you know…"

This was the kind of tactic that you would get from a kid that wanted candy.

But she was so adorable to look at, with her doe eyes, her little pout. She was even in her jersey, and her head was styled in pigtails made by her uncle.

Despite having work tomorrow at 3, it would hurt to leave early right? I'll just give them a heads-up. Plus I've worked 6 overtime in a row, one even lasted until 2 am. So I think I have a high chance of getting permission.

"OK baby, I'll be there"

"YEYY!!"

“I’ve watched her practice you know, she’s really good. I mean I’m not a soccer expert or anything but, I see talent. Just like her father”

I was driving a car with Osamu on the way to the field where Rei’s game was being held. When I told Osamu who was rei’s father, he couldn’t believe it. I still laugh whenever I remember what he said to me.

“You snatched your childhood crush and a football star?”

I remember telling him after we watched the U20 vs Blue Lock 11 match. I was 3 months pregnant at the time. I didn’t want to watch the game at first but Osamu made me.

We arrived at the venue (It was just a big ass field with bleachers on the sides) We sat in the front row, they were warming up right now, I saw Rei score a practice goal so Osamu and I clapped. She mustn’t have heard us because she just continued what she was doing. I saw the jersey she was wearing ‘1# Miya’

Then the game began, and Rei’s team quickly took the lead with Rei scoring a goal 20 minutes in, She was amazing. And her skills were way beyond compared to her teammates. She is completely carrying her whole team to victory. Whenever she would steal the ball from the other team or score a goal, we would cheer loudly. As the first half ended Osamu and I went to their team’s bench.

“Rei!! You were great out there” She turned around and saw Osamu and me walking toward them. Her eyes lit up and ran for me and hugged my waist.

“I’m glad you’re both here ma!! Did you see my score??”��

“I did and you were amazing!!”

“You were great out there kiddo” Osamu patted her head, then her couch called out, she said goodbye then ran off.

“Are you Rei’s parents?” Her couch said as he approached us.

“I am, he’s her uncle”

“Well I just gotta say, Rei has amazing talent for soccer. Teachers are even calling her a soccer prodigy, Is anyone in your family a pro athlete or something?”

‘Well her father certainly is’

I didn’t know what to say at first, good thing Osamu answered for me

“I play volleyball and played in nationals at one point, and my brother is a professional volleyball player”

“Ha! I knew the name Miya was familiar, atsumu Miya right?”

“Yeah hahaha”

“You must be very proud of her, even though this is her first official game, I can tell that she can go a long way” As he talked he was watching Rei try t score a goal again her red hair standing out, doing techniques that I never knew she knew how to do. Rei might be the one playing but all I see is him, It was like going back in time, I haven’t felt this nostalgic ever since I met up with Rin 8 years ago.

Rei is a replica of him.
