AN; Request by 🦢 !!! Omg I absolutely love this idea sm, I had a little field day w this one 😘😘 But tbh I didn't know how to end this too the ending is kinda rushed and bad !!! Also for this js imagine Sokka and Suki r 20 and reader is 18 !!(It doesn't matter but Katara and Aang r still 12/14 !!) AND ONE MORE THING OMFG anyways just imagine that the gaang stayed at kyoshi for a little bit longer like 2 weeks before the fire nation came. (why does it feel so weird writing a fic for Sukis' sister x Sokka like dam she rlly stole her sisters man 😭😭)

Pairing; Sokka x afab!reader(romantic), Suki x afab!reader(family)

summary; When the gaang visits Kyoshi Island to ride some Koi fish, Sokka seems too distracted too even try to figure out whatever is going on with Katara and Aang. And distracted by a certain younger Kyoshi Warrior

You sighed, wiping off the lengthy make up you wear to be a warrior. You loved being a Kyoshi Warrior more than anything, but it was tiring. You were two+ years younger than everyone else so Suki, your older sister and the leader, let you take breaks every so often. Luckily she said you can take the day off. You started to lay down to take a nap when you heard running and yelled outside, in your pjs you ran to grab your fan and went quickly outside. Staring at the trio that was tied to the podium you were star struck. Their clothes were so different than anything you have ever seen. You had honestly(but luckily) been sheltered to only have to know clothing from the earth kingdom and Kyoshi island. After debating between the three and your sister, the young bald monk was revealed to be the avatar. Something about it irked you and you rolled your eyes. When you looked back you had caught the attention of a water tribe boy who seemed to be your sisters age. he started to walk over and talk to you, but nothing peaked your interest. Mostly just him giving back handed sexist compliments.

"Your sister is pretty strong for a girl!" He chuckled, obviously annoyed he was ambushed by girls.

"Uh huh" not giving him common curtesy to look him in the eyes.

After a few more comments you simply zoned him out. Well until he asked something that you were actually interested in.

"Sooo.. are you one of the painted fighters too?"

"Um. A Kyoshi warrior? Yea I am" and he gave an interesting look so with that you walked off sighing to yourself. The first outsiders to visit during this 100 year war had to be the most uninteresting people ever. (Cuz honestly you weren't completely convinced the Avatar was here on good terms, he'd probably just lead the fire nation here.)

For the next few days you saw Sokka try and learn how to fight like a Kyoshi Warrior. It kind of disgusted you, you know he just wanted to be better than Suki, but luckily she was the best of the best so you had nothing to fear.

Suddenly you found your feet moving towards the duo practicing, against your will. You knew you disliked Sokka, you avoided him as much as possible. It was baffling to you how different he is from his sister, at least you could stand her. Once you reached the two you sat on a near-by tree stump. Sokka looked over mid attack and absolutely fumbled falling straight on his face. You rolled your eyes and his face went bright red. For the hour that you watched them, Sokka missed every hit and took every hit thrown at him. By this time you were annoyed, instead of finding it humorous. It was like he was trying to be funny and mess with a sacred art form. Frustrated, you loudly groaned and walked away. Sokka knew he had messed up, he wanted to be good, he wasn't sure if it was for him or for you. He thanked Suki and ran off to find you.

Practicing all your moves you had learned over the course of your young teenage life, you left someone creep behind you. Stopping what you're doing you turn around, expecting Suki, but finding Sokka. You simply crossed your arms expecting him to speak.

"You saw me practice today" he uttered embarrassed

"Indeed I did," rolling your eyes

"I didn't mean to mess up, I was just nervous with you watching!"

"Whatever you say water boy, just stay out of my way and stop making a fool out of yourself." you turned back around and tried expanding your fan, but suddenly a hand was on your wrist and your hip, spinning you around instantaneously. Sokka's face was mere inches from yours, he looked down at your lips and back up to your eyes making the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

"Why won't you give me a chance?" he whispered low

Your mind whirred, 'chance for what? Why does he want a chance? Why is he so close?'

"Um what do you mean?" you gulped loudly

He let go of you lightly, "Why don't you give me a chance to show you I'm not who you think I am, I'm strong and a warrior."

You immediately scoffed "Yea right, what I saw today really showed that." this obviously pissed Sokka off, and he lowered his head down to stare at you in the eyes. Suddenly you could smell him, taking a moment to appreciate how clean he kept himself, you gathered and studied every inch of his face. Pausing to look at how nice his lips looked in the light. A moment of silence was suddenly broke.

"Like what you see?" He said smirking, leaning in to close the distance between yours and his lips.

You yelped loudly before throwing him over your shoulder and running away.

After what happened it was easy to ignore him and his practices. But your heart didn't want to, some how that stupid pony tail boy made you yearn for him. But your brain knew it wasn't a good idea to fall for a strange boy, let alone let him know that. But fate was against the organ in your head and as you turned the corner you saw, once again, your sister practicing with the water tribe boy. You walked up to them to watch but this time when Sokka noticed you, he gave it his all. Easily overpowering Suki, her face turning bright red that you could see through the makeup. Sokka crossing his eyes and giving a smug look. Your jaw dropped and you felt something inside your stomach, a tight knot that wouldn't untie. Sokka walked over to you after thanking Suki and bowing to her.

"How was that?"

you just stared at him, shellshocked. Causing him to laugh he rolled his eyes at you, he wrapped one hand around your waist and one around the back of your neck pulling you in for a kiss.

You eased yourself into it, kissing back. Your brain knew it was wrong but what was so bad with letting your heart win?

"Well Sokka, you do have the heard of a warrior." you laughed before leaning in for another kiss.

— The amount of time I heard people telling me that Leo Rising is a ray of sunshine when in reality they can be, however not at first 100%. The way they come off are extremely practical, even a little bit distant at first. They have this powerful yet quiet aura to them. What I would say tho is that they enjoy the company of people who feels like sunshine, its just something about goodness in people that gets to Leo Rising. They adore a sweetheart always.

— I would even go as far to say that all Fire Rising initially have a hint of distance. Aries Rising can appear intimidating, truly living up to their stereotype with their nonchalant demeanor. But beneath that exterior, they possess genuinely kind hearts, though sometimes their delivery might be a bit raw. Leo Rising commands respect with their mere presence. Sagittarius Rising aligns closely with their stereotype, but remember the Water 12th houses of the Fire Risings:.

Playing games might be fun at first for them but they're are not going to be around to entertain anything as such for long.

— Sun conjuncts Venus gets along so well with women. A lot of their friends are usually women and it seems that they just know how to put people at ease. There's an energy of almost androgyny about them in the sense that they have a great balance of energies. Can easily befriend anyone.

— Libra Mars forgives often but usually its very logical. One of the best boundary setter I've ever seen. They are sweethearts don't get me wrong but they can easily put you in your place while still being the sweetest angel ever.

— Sagittarius Sun are extremely ambitious people. They're very very driven. While they enjoy letting loose, they're equally devoted to their work and aspirations. — There's a stereotype that pegs Aquarius Mercury as detached and overly rational, almost robotic in their communication. But as you dive deeper, you realize this couldn't be farther from the truth. While they do possess an innate ability to see the bigger picture and communicate ideas ahead of their time, there's a depth and warmth to them that often goes unnoticed. These are some of the smoothest talkers. Contrary to the belief that they're disinterested in personal stories, many Aquarius Mercury individuals are deeply curious about individual journeys and narratives. I also noticed that since they can be so nice to talk to, people just casually open up to them about literally anything.

— I saw squares aspects synastry plays out in real life and often times its honestly super funny. Its like 2 people that speak 2 different languages trying to get the same thing but don't want to admit it out of pride LOL. I'm not a big fan when there's too much squares within personal placements but to be fair, they promote hella growth. After these kind of relationships, everyone just kinda become either more stubborn with their values or extremely open-minded LOL

— While Taurus Moon is very emotionally reliant, in the sense that they're their own safe haven and therapy guide a lot of the times. These people also may be prone to denial. They take time to come to terms with a lot of events that happened and kind of just buried it sometimes until they fully accept it. Unhealthy coping mechanisms as well but with time, they find their own peace in the truth.

— Earth Risings, lets talk. They got to be one of the funniest people alive. Their sense of humour always hits and they're the living proof for don't judge a book by its cover. Everytime I'm with them I always hurt my stomach by laughing too much PLS. However, when time calls for it, they can sit down and get all corporate on you trust😉

Can I req Jeff and toby with a s/o who isn’t usually very affectionate physically (but still loving, they just aren’t 100% comfy with touch for trauma reasons) but one day just get really affectionate out of the blue and then continue like that? So they just give them random (but really sweet) hugs, cuddles and kisses out of nowhere?

Jeff is a very physically touchy person

Even in a non-romantic sense, he can be seen slinging his arm around his friends, flicking people in a teasing manner, playfully punching people, etc

But knowing that you don't like being touched, he backs off

He wont hug you from behind, he always asks before kissing you, always asks for hugs, etc

And he was fine with this, eventually it just became part of his routine, asking if it was ok to give you a "good morning" kiss, and asking if it was ok to hug you

But this morning, when you snuck into his bed while he layed there, still just waking up, he was shocked

It was such a bold move for you, sliding in under his blankets and hugging him around his waist

He almost doesn't think it's you, but as he turns his head in confusion, you give him a loving look that he knows only you could produce

He smiles and shifts so that he is laying on his back, putting an arm around you "what's this for?" He asks

You move to lay your head on his shoulder "I'm just sick of not having any affection" you mutter sleepily

A rush of warmth covers jeff like a blanket "oh.." he mutters, jesus christ, that little comment absolutely killed him (lovingly)

From then on, you begin to kiss him and hug him randomly throughout the day, which takes him a while to get used to

He is very happy you like receiving and giving physical affection now, because he has been holding back lots of kisses that you can now receive

Toby

Toby is always very cautious when giving physical affection to anyone

He is very much aware that not everyone likes to be touched, so he always makes sure that whoever he is talking to is 100% comfortable with physical affection before he does anything

It was no different with you, he asked, you responded, and he accepted the answer he got

Of course, he still shows his affection in many ways

Words of love, gift giving, acts of service, etc

However, one day when he was working outside, helping chop wood for the manors many fireplaces, you came up behind him and hugged him tightly

Reader saw Hoshi first sight and fell instantly, the time Hoshi finally fell is when they started chatting and he fell super fucking hard I tell you😭

When word got out you both liked each other it spread like wild fire, maybe the reader was more like an academic achiever and Hoshi was very popular and had suprisingly a lot of admirers

Its a shock how you were able to pull Hoshi, there have been rumors how he "harshly" rejected some girls but you were a different case it seems

SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG TO ANSWER. i saw it and then was gonna reply on my computer (easier to type) but then I. promptly forgot. but anywho!

i DO have a ton of had canons for them lmao. I'll start with some general / morro lives AU (not a specific au just. general had he survived concepts) stuff before getting into more specific AU nonsense

-I'm of the opinion had Morro came back during dotd (or even survived the end of Possession) that he wouldn't have joined the ninja, at least not right away. I like to think he'd have gone on a sort of vigilante arc. not quite ready to try to make it up to the ninja (or Wu and Lloyd specifically) but. attempting to make amends for what he's done yk. He essentially becomes Ninjago Batman LMAO. And I think, considering how much he really helped save Cole during Dotd, Cole would be the most open to giving him a chance. I like to think the ninja and Morro end up fighting the same guy by coincidence one night, Morro ends up saving Cole from a really nasty hit and from there on out that's where their relationship really start to develop (read: cole joining Morro on his night-stalks whether Morro likes it or not until he Does Like It)

-Cole 100% strikes me as a very physically affectionate person and I think Morro would be. jumpy about that at first. Partially just because he's not inherently physically affectionate and also because the cursed realm was a Nasty place. Also Morro strikes me as someone deathly allergic to PDA because it Embarrasses Him (<- very strong feelings on How People Perceive him).

-I think if he comes back to life (or had long hair from the get go) Morro's hair would be something Cole really enjoys playing with. Eventually Morro would just let him do what he wants lmao.

-Morro and jay would ABSOLUTELY beef over Cole. That's my boyfriend vs that's my best-friend type beat. It would annoy the fuck out of Cole and greatly assume Nya.

-Morro strikes me as a sort of protective person when he really attaches to someone, so. yeah. He also strikes me as someone who'd get jealous romantically very easily lmao. Cole is very much more laid back.

-Morro likes Cole's eyes. will he say that? no.

OKAY onto some Samurai AU stuff!!

-They take forever to drop the surnames lmao. Cole drops them first simply because it annoys 'Kazama' to have 'Kuroiwa' call him 'Morro' and demand to be called 'Cole'. I think the first time Morro ever calls him by his first name is after they reunite and Cole finds out he's actually alive.

-Cole has a lot of layers lmao. So when he wears like. a yukata it sends Morro into a spiral.

-They fight together better than either of them expected. Very solid fighting style (cole) in combination with a significantly more vicious loose style (Morro).

That's all. i need to think about them more BUT. REAPER AU oh reaper au how i love you

-whenever Morro has his hair loose Cole is Enamored. It goes down to a little past his nape and it makes Cole crazy for some reason lmao.

-Likewise, whenever Cole wears more feminine clothing (something he started exploring at one point or another) it makes Morro Crazy. love-sick, a fool.

-they tend to sleep together and very closely. Mostly because of some (route 3 specific) experiences and also because the place they where staying at for two years was Very small. if you walk into them sleeping you'd find Cole wrapped around him like an octopus, head resting on Morro's chest or shoulder. Morro tends to sleep more starfish-esc but its common for him to have an arm around Cole's shoulders or waist. This actually really annoyed the ninja when they and Cole reunited because Morro Stop Stealing Our Friend We Want Cuddles And Also Dislike You Heavily.

-Generally, there was a lot of conflict between Morro and the ninja. They were worried Cole had been coerced because of how isolated he was when Morro had popped up next to him (something they feel really bad about -- they werent ever supposed to forget Cole) and Morro because he's allergic to having good social skills.

-When they started first being around each other Morro was. very flighty. Didn't quite know how to handle his feelings so he'd fuck off a lot which unfortunately aggravated Cole's abandonment issues. It was sort of rough until Morro got his shit together lol.

-Their first kiss was a very quiet thing.

-Cole used to have a crush on Jay and that is something that will annoy Morro very much when he figures it out lmao.

-I like to think of them when listening to bags by Clairo. I mean... "I don't want to be forward / I don't want to cut corners / savor this with everything I have in me / I'm not the type to run, know we're having fun / but what's the rush? kissing, then my cheeks are so flushed" and "pardon my emotions / I should probably keep it all to myself / know you'd make fun of me" and "Can you see me? / I'm waiting for the right time / I can't read you, but if you want, the pleasure's all mine / can you see me using everything to hold back? / I guess this could be worse / walkin' out the door with your bags" ? very themcore.

lastly, here's some vamp-morro rambles. I don't have a fully fledged au for this just various sketches and ideas lmao.

-Cole would've originally let himself be used as the main source of blood for Morro so no one else would have to do it. It's a bit of a painful process and strangely intimate and something he'd rather no one else on team do.I mean, Zane's a android, Lloyd is obvious no for obvious reasons, Jay would freak out, Kai's too emotionally invested. That would leave Nya and he wouldn't particularly like that either so, he offers himself.

-Morro finds him kinda stupid but Cole's blood is just oddly sweet enough for him to not care to much.

-Cole thinks the bite marks are kind of embarrassing, hard to explain, and oddly Vulnerable to show so he tends to keep his collars pulled up high.

-Morro tends to drink from areas like the side of the neck, the trapezius, and right under his Adams apple like any good vampire. Sometimes the wrists.

-Over time this evolves into a weird little bond neither of them know how to feel about.

whenever you two are together within the confines of the shaky elevator, there’s always an awkward vibe hanging in the air. completely regardless of who else is with you— poob, infected, or anyone else can’t seem to waver that feeling with their upbeat personality. don’t get me wrong. you and pilby have been close friends ever since you made the first move, and it’s nothing short of one of the closest bonds you have on this godforsaken elevator

that being said when you start to notice pilby fiddling a lot more with their hands, their stutter becomes more noticeable, and they seem to go quiet frequently; that’s when you begin to suspect something’s up. normally pilby was VERY relaxed around you, yapping about the cool new finds they uncovered with mach on a different universe, but now it seems like they’re highly anxious about it

another giant giveaway was pilby’s flushed face. their face is as white as snow meaning any sort of blush is highly pigmented against their skin. and around you? it’s hard not to point it out, but you didn’t want to embarrass pilby, not yet knowing what the reason was

you wouldn’t say it directly to their face but you found their mannerisms cute. actually you found everything about pilby… adorable. the way their eyes lit up as they notice you’re in the elevator, the way their fluffy pink bangs poke out of their hat, everything down to the littlest of things. maybe you were a little biased as you were a bug yourself but that’s besides the point. the mutual feelings were all there but the big question was: who’d make the first move?

feeling a little more confident you began to brush your hand against pilby’s ever so slightly, watching them twitch out of the corner of your eye. you’d also brush your wings against them occasionally which they didn’t mind, as they thought your wings were just so beautiful. but any contact has their cheeks burning lol

if you’re not in the elevator with pilby, they talk about you. a lot. thanks to some of your friends who went through the experience, they 100% told you everything pilby said, including a small slip-up pilby made that immediately made them cover their mouth. it gave you the confidence you needed to finally confess

so when you scouted out pilby on their usual floor, flowers in hand, you were surprised to see pilby standing there— flowers in hand. a giddy smile made its way to your lips as pilby began to stutter an apology, utterly embarrassed and flustered at the situation. they weren’t the same type of flowers but having the same idea at the same time was such a weird coincidence

you manage to soothe pilby after a brief moment, exchanging flowers with stupid smiles on your face. they began to yap about why they got you those specific flowers, doing research on finding the best kind for butterflies, but you quickly shut them up with a tiny kiss on the cheek. it was effective immediately

the floor was about to end as your teammates all dash around the room, mach’s wheel having landed on “DEATH.” you wouldn’t be able to hang out with pilby just yet, but as you made your way back into the elevator, you glance over your shoulder and see pilby giving you a shy wave, looking as cute as ever now that they’re your partner.

KPOP FIC RECS

So I recently (like a couple of months ago) read Bowie’s Books by John O’Connell which is a series of essays exploring David Bowie’s list of 100 Books that transformed his life and I thought it was a way to make my own. These are all fics (in some way or another) that have been memorable in many different ways and I hope to share them with you all.

This is also a full on sap train so I thought you should be ready. I’m also weirdly nervous since this feels kind of vulnerable and makes me shy. but haiii

1. @hyuckiebabie - Bad Intentions | NCT (discontinued)

Of course, I have to start with this. I have to. I’ve also just learnt that author-nim has since left tumblr. But the writing was beautiful and the connection that Haechan and the MC had with each other was absolutely alluring. God I felt things I have never felt before. This was quite awhile ago and I’m kind of sad I can’t reread it to boost my memory a bit more but I was super excited for every update. But aww I wish you could all read it even though it was discontinued, it still remains very memorable for me.

2. @beom1e - Love Is Not Easy | TXT (completed)

The fic that made me obsess over TXT fics for a very large portion of the year. I read it again and it’s so chaotic and erratic in the best way. I love these boys with all my heart and it was so fun to be able to read it and connect to it. There were different endings that were all really fun. The very first time I was a very big Yeonjun supporter but nowadays I feel a more Beomgyu lean. Hmm, I don’t know. So many options. Can’t forget about Soobin either. The best kind of crossroad ever.

3. @dovechim - That’s Okay That’s Love | BTS (ongoing)

No because I’m frustrated my original comments about this didn’t save. I remember reading this and it was the first time I had read something involving mental health so blatantly and it just felt oddly satisfying. What I liked the most about this fic however was the way that every character was interwoven within the story without the sole purpose of their existence to be a ‘friend’ to the main character and give advice and put some sense into them nor to invoke drama. I liked that they each have their own story and plot and it’s so majestically done that I always have to applaud this story for it.

4. @jayflrt - The A List | ENHYPEN (one-shot)

Ahhh yes, I finally get to talk about this. This was one of the first ENHYPEN fics I read and it definitely helped me stan them to the level I did. I love the ....friendship between the MC and Jay. I love the taste of the whole fic in general - the rich people shit and the drama and the need to just not be made into a total loser by an anonymous source. I’m not even being dramatic but this fic has a taste and it’s absolutely fucking wonderful I’m salivating.

5. @fantasybangtan - Queen Cobra | BTS (ongoing)

One of my utmost favourite writers on Tumblr and in general. I love this story with all my heart and it made me a total * girl. This fic always manages to have a hook on me in more ways than one and I was so excited to see that a chapter has been updated since I last read it. I hope to god you never stop writing. Ever. Such a talented person and a very special one at that. I sound a bit like teachers comments in student reports and I’m sorry. But I hope you feel how sincere I am in my recommendations to read this fic. You have to. Absolute art.

6. @caramellohigh - Not Such A Good Boy | THE BOYZ (ongoing)

This is my favourite depiction of Juyeon, like ever. I remember seeing three times before I actually read it. First it popped up in my dash just randomly, then it was recommended (not specifically to me) but I had been wanting to read a few fics. I thank whatever higher power exists for this fic. I can’t explain myself but like it’s so good. I love the whole golden sweet nice sunshine boy being this person who isn’t actually all that sunny and saintly trope. I don’t know the proper name for it but I loved this. I can’t wait for more chapters such an exciting fic, I couldn’t put this fic down for the life of me. I had a lot to do today but I didn’t do it because I was reading this hahaha best decision ever.

7. @theluckyyyoneee - Antipode | EXO (completed)

OH MY GOD I JUST SAW THERE’S AN UPDATED CHAPTER, I’M GOING TO READ IT NOW. Okay okay I’m going back to writing normally so I don’t look like an idiot, but I love this fic with all my heart. So so warm. I love that Chanyeol is just a literal puppy throughout the fic. God I hope to see this couple again. In any way. I’ll take it. I remember I first read this when Chanyeol went to the military and reading the final chapter when he’s back literally feels like all is right with the world. I adore this couple. And with the risk of sounding cheesy as hell, this story smells of pine and appears like Christmas lights in the night and I think that’s the cutest fucking thing.

8. @jungblue - Future Hearts | BTS (ongoing)

I’ll be honest, before I came to Tumblr I always ignored recommendations for fan fics - simply because I had different tastes to the person giving the recs (they were a bit too much for me) and I just liked that fan fics were just my terrain to freely explore the fics available without in some form being attached to someone else (i was going through some shit obviously). Then this fic showed up and I took a chance on it. Best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I fell in love with writing all over again. I thought of colours differently. Everything. was just so different. I was super invested in the story. I would say it became so definitive of the person I was at eighteen, when life started changing. So thank you author-nim. From your forever fan <3 I hope all is well with you, you deserve the whole world y’know.

9. @sankyeom - Break Your Rules | THE BOYZ (completed)

Okay okay so, I love Sunwoo with my whole heart and one of my favourite tropes is brother’s best friend (disclaimer : it reflects to my life in no shape, way or form but we love a good ol’ forbidden love without the death involved) I first read this on my other account and it’s always one I seek out if I want a little thrill and a happy ending. Also the side characters are so fucking funny, I loved reading them. This fic is the treat your aunty tells you she shouldn’t be giving you but does anyway and you love her with your whole heart. So wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.

10. @chittapornswife - DYNL Club | NCT (ongoing)

A fic I’m forever fond of, I think. I always used to read this whenever I would go to class and it would keep me from having panic attacks. It would always leave me feeling fluffy and energised enough to get through an hour (or longer) class (and it wasn’t like the class was terrible, it just made me anxious.) I always link this fic to good things, or at least like it’s a bridge from being less than okay to recovery which is kind of ironic considering the content. It also has Haechan in it, which I’m thankful for. This story helped build my love for him in a way, I think. I’m truly grateful.

11. @desayunho - Time Of Love | ATEEZ (completed)

Oh my god it was a struggle deciding what fic to use but I decided on this one. It’s so beautiful. Oh my god I loved it. I read ‘Lovefool’ before this one and just knew that I had to hop on this train too. Lovefool blew me away and I knew it would happen with this one too. Absolutely after my own heart. I’m not one for poly fics (not against them either, I just don’t normally read them) but AHHH I’m screaming. The dynamic. The everything. This fic is everything. Thank you and good night. I love San and Wooyoung and ATEEZ AND author-nim, a special place in my heart is reserved for you and your artistry.

12. @ballelino - Wedding Season | STRAY KIDS (completed)

With the risk of sounding absolutely delusional, this fic helped me well and truly realise that I am never ever going to move on from Lee Minho. Like ever. The fic left me feeling very vulnerable but well protected? I don’t know how to form words but... Everything was just perfect. Truly a foundation. It’s a fic I want to read for the first time again for the feelings I felt and the sensations I was going through. Truly a magical ride. I’m not even being sappy - this is me being totally brutally honest. I loved it for lack of better words. You know that question that goes ‘If the words ‘I love you’ didn’t exist what would you use?’...This fic. That’s it. My new love language.

13. @thepixelelf - Hood | THE BOYZ (completed)

This was well and truly a rollercoaster.. god I could remember it. I was on the edge of my seat every update. I loved the whole friendship and the back and forth. Ever since that first chapter it has been a favourite of mine and has remained one of my favourites since then. Also it was literally a year spent together with a fic and I don’t know why but this makes me feel more attached and feel more love for this fic even more. It’s beautiful and it’s literally like cuddling a teddy bear. I don’t know how else to describe it. If I could hug any fic it would be this one. Cause it deserves everyone’s high praises and I want someone to experience reading this fic to experience it and just tell me what they thought and we can go nuts over it.

14. @seokjinsdisciple - Who’s Your Daddy | ATEEZ (ongoing)

What a rollercoaster of events. These ATEEZ fics (not even just this one) has a special place in my heart but I’m here to talk about this one in particular. It’s so incredibly cute and angsty at the same time. Anything you ask for in a fic, you get it practically. It’s everything. It gives me everything. It gives me life. Seventeen chapters in and I've already tried finding a wizard to turn me into a puddle on the floor because I can’t cope. It’s absolutely brilliant. Ahhhh- also one of the authors to open the new door for me in terms of social media aus. I never thought I’d be into them but I really am and a large part is due to author-nim so thank you for this medium of storytelling and doing such a good job every single time. No misses.

15. @aspenwritesstuff - Prove Me Wrong | STRAY KIDS (ongoing)

HOW COULD I NOT INCLUDE THIS. I can’t even remember how I came to read it but I remember reading it and being so hooked the very first chapter. I am also extremely affectionate of you, Aspen. This story and everything about it. I love it. It’s cute and fucking interesting and I’m just so hooked and excited I cannot wait to see how the rest of the story pans out. Like truly amazing. I’m going nuts over just thinking about it. Absolutely wonderful and just truly cute. I don’t know what else to say but it’s so cute. So fucking cute. Ahhhh. Just screaming and yelling and hollering at this point. LIKE YEAH THIS IS ME. THIS IS HOW EXCITED I CAN BE. Can’t wait, Aspen, honestly (take ur time tho <3)

16. @gyukult - We Don’t Usually Hold Hands | SEVENTEEN (one-shot)

So usually whenever I read Mingyu books I’m used to player Mingyu or sugar daddy esque-Mingyu who’s very cool. I’m not hating it. I still most likely would read it. But I never knew how much I needed a fic where I could actually see Mingyu in it and I think it’s perfect. I fell in love with this fic at first read and I think it’s actually changed the trajectory of my life forever. I’m not even being remotely funny. It really has. I don’t know - I loved the humour, I love just how casual the romance was. Like it felt so natural and just so Mingyu I don’t know what else to say without rambling. I feel like this fic is especially for those who don’t necessarily believe in romantic love, for those who do and in love with the idea of love and just everyone in between. So everyone basically. It’s a necessity.

17. @kyufiber - How To Be A Heartbreaker | THE BOYZ (completed)

God, I love this fic so much I don’t know what else to tell you. This is an Eric fic but it felt like more than just that. I’m a Sunwoo girl, have been from the very first video I saw of these guys but everyone just-. Let me tell you how PERFECT this fic is. It went exactly the way I wanted it but every update was a blessing and a gift. Like...is this music? No but I’m honestly always starstruck by this fic. I have no way of formulating proper sentences, it’s amazing. It’s so good. It’s so good. It’s honestly- GOD, especially if you’re an Eric person. This is for you. For all of you actually - read it! I’m begging with my whole chest, my whole soul, everything about me that is me - read it.

18. @starrgaziinggg - Friends With Benefits | STRAY KIDS (ongoing)

I can’t remember exactly remember the 6 W’s of how, where, when I found this fic. But all I remember is that it was a god send during my Minho phase (that is still in fact going, don’t get me wrong). Every new update is so fucking fun for me and definitely has me all up in there. I love this version of Minho. It’s one of my favourites. Absolutely. This fic has been a newfound love of mine and I’ve enjoyed falling in love with it every single chapter and I know that won’t ever change. I’m a bit speechless I don’t know what to say, currently I’m looking at it and I’m so excited to talk about it but all I am right now is a blubbering mess that can’t string two words together to make a single sentence. But I really appreciate this fic and I can’t wait for more updates! <3

19. @wooyunhwa - Kingdom Of Welcome Addiction | ATEEZ (ongoing)

Although it’s been a couple of years since the last update, I am still going to praise and praise this fic as if it’s my sole purpose in life. I love the way the characters are and how there’s a whole world away from everyone else - as if its just the three of them in this demon vs angel love affair. Don’t even get me started on the writing - it’s so beautiful, detailed and I love how humour is incorporated into it. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. It surprised me so much in such little but significant ways that I think sets apart this fic from others like it. Truly.

20. @yeow6n - boyfriend!haechan tiktok series | NCT (ongoing)

Ahhh my current go-to Haechan fic writer. God, I’m in love. Have you ever felt a connection with someone you haven’t talked to or anything but because you share that one thing you’re in it for life? This is it my friends. This. Every fic I’ve read is a love of mine and I’m so excited to write about it. They’re usually short and sharp but incredibly sweet and it just- it makes loving Donghyuck easier. Honestly author-nim came in at the right time and totally swept me off my feet. In love with it. In love with him. Stan author-nim for good Haechan content. Honestly I feel like calling you bestie which is one hundred percent out of character for me so I won’t - but I just want to let you know that the temptation was there and it was a strong one!
