Trans Gwen headcanons!

Based on ITSV and ATSV Gwen

Gwen realized she was a girl when she was about thirteen (about the same time she was bit)

She couldn’t hold onto two big secrets so she came out

Her dad was a little confused a bit, but after a week or so he came around

He became pretty supportive and even helped her get on puberty blockers and help her socially transition

She told Peter way back when they where younger that she don’t think she was a boy

He never really cared and when she was trying to figure out a name he actually suggested Gwendolyn

she hated the full name but liked the sound of Gwen so she took it

Wanda was a named she actually seriously considered

Miles of course was super accepting and it didn’t change anything

Headcanon that all spider people get what’s called the “Spider-Zoomies” (which is a sudden burst of energy but it’s expressed through Spider-like behavior) except for Miguel because he didn’t get bitten, so every time he makes the mistake of going to HQ in the middle of the night, he gets jump scared by at least one Spider-Man:

Scuttling across the ceiling (Pavitr)

Hissing into the void (Miles)

Bench pressing a building (Peter B)

Jumping fifty feet into the air without warning (Margo)

Building some intricate contraption in complete darkness (Hobie, emphasis on trap)

Running extremely fast without making a sound so you don’t know they’re there until it’s too late (wtf Mayday)

Or crouching into a corner, completely still like a predator watching its prey, and the moment he gets close to them, they whisper “Hey” making him scream so loud that he throws his empanadas in their face (Gwen)

It’s essentially like you’re walking through a building full of eldritch horrors, and you don’t know where any of them are, but they all know exactly where you are, and they win bonus points if they scare the shit out of you. Miguel hates it here.

A/N: I asked myself if these characters have rizz and behold!

Peter does have pretty good flirting skills once you start dating. Until the he's a tiny bit awkward but not too much, he knows you already like him. His smiles are always a litte loopsided when he walks his fingers up your arm, to your cheek, watching goosebumps bloosom on your skin right before he kisses you.

Miles needs to look up pick up lines before he sees you. They don't help. Well they do but not in the way he thought. He mixes up his lines from how nervous he is but instead of messing up his chances with his crush, you end up liking him even more then you did before.

Gwen is a pretty good flirt once she becomes fond of you. In and out of the costume actually. In the costume more before you start to return her feelings but when she's sure you feel the same way she does hard on the flirting when she's outside of the costume and eases up while she's in the costume.

Miguel flirts like no other. Kissing your cheek, dipping down like you're in a dance, always pulling you to his chest while looking at you with the most smug grin on his face. How could he not with the reactions he pulls from you, all those yelps and dreamy sighs and mindmelting kisses you give him in return.

Hobie flirts without meaning to. He is naturally a very touchy, energetic guy so he makes your heart skip a beat without trying to. If he does try you're in real trouble. It was already hard enough to try not to kiss him while he was just a friend but now he's actually putting the moves on you. Worst of all he knows exactly what he's doing to you and he's not slowing down.

Pavitr is a smooth talker outside of the costume but not in it. When he sees you face to face his confidance goes up by a lot but when you're looking at him like you don't really know him, he falters. Always the one to put his arm around your shoulder and pull you into a kiss, smiling into it as you cup his jaw, silently asking for one more.

miles is an empathetic boy; as soon as you start crying, he'll give you a hug, and even if he's a bit nervous about being so close to you, he'll stay like that for as long as you like.

gwen might get overwhelmed at first, seeing you cry makes her heart sinks in her chest and she's probably going to shed a few tears with you as well. she would hold your hand the whole time, gently squeezing it every time she hears you sob.

pavitr would become unusually quiet and would try to ask you what's wrong. if you don't answer him he'd just bring you closer to his chest, running his hand in your hair in an attempt to make you feel better. he would say things like “it's okay, I'm here for you”, insisting on the fact that he will never let you down.

hobie won't ask you anything until you're ready to talk about it. for now, he'd gladly be the shoulder you can rest and cry on. he rubs your back in a soothing way, bringing you closer to him when he feels your body trembling. he'd stay silent for the most part, randomly humming a melody to fill the silence in between your sobs.

miguel would first check if you're not injured, out of instinct. once he's sure you don't have any injuries he would ask you what is making you cry and he would try his best to give you good advice. but if it's a person who made you cry, oh boy, they can already start running for their life.

Arachkids headcanons because I'm bored (ft. Spiderdads)

Miles-42 is the shortest in the group, and he HATES it. This leads to relentless teasing, especially from Hobie (who is the only one not at least a little scared of Miles-42)

Hobie takes stairs 2 at a time. Always.

Miles cried when he heard that Miguel and Peter B were together

Pavitr will tell Miles and Gwen to "get a room" at the smallest things. They're holding hands? Get a room. They're sitting next to each other? Get a room. They looked at each other for more then 2 seconds? Get a room.

Hobie likes to joke that his type is Miles Morales, since he's dating both Miles and Miles-42.

Pavitr will paint Hobie's nails at every chance he gets.

Gayatri was Gwen's bi awakening.

When Gwen told Hobie she was trans, the first thing he said was, "So, you CHOSE to be named Gwendolyn?"

Miguel is genuinely terrified of Hobie and Miles-42.

Hobie and Miles-42 will hop over to Noir's dimension to punch Nazis with him a lot.

Pavitr and Miles are both autistic, and Pavitr started using headphones to help with sensory issues after meeting Miles and learning that from him

Everyone expects Pavitr to be the mom friend of the group, but it's actually Hobie.

How They Tell Their S/O They're Spider-Man (& Spider-Gwen) - Spider-Crew x GN!Reader Headcanons

Miles - The king of acting like he isn't a nervous wreck. Honestly, it takes Miles months before he finally has the courage to come out and say it. He'd ask Gwen and the others over and over for advice. He prepares a big speech, invites you out so the two of you are alone. And though he has it planned out, he acts nervous the whole date and it's pretty obvious something is up.

Miles can barely remember his speech, but he tells you about how much he cares about you, and how he's been struggling keeping something from you. Eventually, after fighting himself a bit, he tells you he's Spider-man, unzipping his suit to show you the suit under it.

After telling you, he's ten times more relieved. He's just happy he has someone who he can actually talk to about it (besides Genke), and he says up all night telling you about the cool things he's seen. He'd enjoy calling you while on patrol, when he's handling a 'villain-of-the-week'.

Though his biggest hope is that it doesn't change the way you see him, because he's still Miles first, Spider-man second.

Gwen - Gwen really struggles with this. She'd fight the hardest to keep it under wraps, coming up with white lies to keep the peace. It kills her inside, and makes her paranoid knowing that one day she might slip up. But she tries to play it cool, and shrugs it off if anything comes up.

But being confronted is a lot for her to take. The thing Gwen fears the most is hurting the people she loves. If confronted, Gwen would deny it at first, get defensive, then eventually just break down and admit it.

There may be tears, but she's just so done hiding everything from you. She'd hold you, and tell you she's really sorry for lying and hiding everything. The guilt gets to her the most. But afterwards, she's just happy that she can finally show her whole self to you. no more secrets.

She's much happier having someone she can go home to. And even though she doesn't talk about the stress a lot, having a shoulder to lean on really helps her.

Pavitr - If we're being honest, Pavi makes little to no attempt to hide it to begin with. Why? Because being Spider-man is fun, it's the best! Why wouldn't he want to share that with the person closest to him?

It only takes a couple weeks, maybe a month or two before he can't take it anymore and just blurts it out to you. He's nervous, but excited, more hyper than usual. And unlike Miles, he can't beat around the bush. He just says it. One second you're hanging out with your bf, another second he's telling you he's Spider-man, and hanging from the ceiling.

Pavi really likes to show off. He wants to share with you all the cool things he sees and does, and hiding things from his partner for long doesn't sit right with him. He wants to feel close to you, and he can't do that when he's hiding stuff.

Right after he wants to take you web-swinging, or show you all his cool stunts, but he understands if you need a little time. He kinda tells you with little warning.

Hobie - Hobie leaves it up to you. He trusts you and he knows you're smart. That's why he's with you. He knows that eventually, you'll know something is off. So he just lets you piece it all together.

He'll leave parts for his web-shooters around, he won't hide his bruises, or clean the occasional blood off his boots. He may catch something a bit faster than a normal person would, or seem to 'sense' something before anyone else.

He's strong in his morals, and he isn't going to lie to you or try to hide it from you. If he's going out, he'll text you and tell you. And if you ask where he is, you'll get a sarcastic answer. He's not hiding it, he just isn't saying it.

If you decide to not bring it up, fine - it's squashed. If you do come out and ask him, he'll tell you the truth. He'll give you his mask. But he'll also play it off. He doesn't want it to be a big deal, because being Spider-man isn't something he does for fun. Or fame. He does it because his dimension is shit, people are suffering, and someone has to do something.

Really, he hopes it doesn't change anything between the two of you, that he can just be his (super-powered) self, and you'll love him for all the other cool shit he's got going on.

WHERE YOU GO FOR YOUR FIRST DATE (SPIDERVERSE)

- headcanons for where the spiderverse characters take you on your first date (spiderverse x gn!reader, fluff)

a/n - another one of these!! you guys liked the last one so much that i had to make more lol.

HOBIE brings you to a concert. It’s loud and rowdy, but he keeps a gentle hand on you the entire time. Afterwards, he’ll lead you to a quiet place where you can talk and express your feelings about the show you just watched. It’s really cute to see his eyes light up when you discuss everything, and you know that going on this date was the right idea.

MIGUEL doesn’t have time for dates. At least, that’s what he says. So your first “date” is in his office, with you sitting quietly while he does his work. After a bit, though, he notices that you want to do something more and he feels a little pang in his stomach that could be classified as regret or guilt. When that happens, he’ll stop what he’s doing and gruffly ask you if you want to have dinner with him. When you say yes, he’ll stand to set up a nice little scene while you watch.

PAVITR takes you to dinner with him. You don’t go out, he just dresses up and asks his auntie to cook for him. It might seem cheap at first, but he’s really just excited for you to try his auntie’s food and meet his family. Everything about this moment is important to him, you included. There’s perfumed candles on the table and flowers pinned to his dress shirt, which he gives to you after the dinner. He spares no efforts.

When MILES asks you out for your first date, he tries to brainstorm every cool idea or romantic setting. Nothing seems fitting or great enough for you, so he settles on bringing you up to a high roof and having a picnic. The view of the city is incredible as the sun sets, and you talk for hours about life and literally everything. Even though the date came from Miles not knowing what to do, it’s the best date you could ask for.

Like Hobie, GWEN has an affinity for the performing arts. For this date, she’s the one playing. She lets you in on her band practices and secretly dedicates all the songs she plays to you. Her band mates absolutely know how special you are to her, so when practice ends, they all find an excuse to leave. So you’ll sit in the venue with her, talking and making jokes. She’ll apologize for not taking you somewhere “better”, but you really think that anywhere and anything with her is definitely worthy of your time.

Should I also do a headcanon what he'd be like during parenthood? I already have a few ideas😋

You know those gender reveal parties where the dads get upset if the colour is pink? Nuh uh! Not in this universe. Miguel is ecstatic at the mere thought of even having a child.

He'd be super nervous tho. He wants to be the best dad. He literally over informs himself. You bet he's read every single 'how to parent' book. He's also asked Lyla to tell him everything she knows.

If you already thought he was a sweetheart, then get ready, because he's only going to get worse during your pregnancy.

He has always been so devoted to you, but now he's even more devoted to your future family together.

He loves being helpful in any way he can. Chores? He's done them all already. You feel sore? All of a sudden he's a professional masseuse.

He also can't keep his hands off of you. They're glued to you. He also loves rubbing lotion on your body🧐

He will prepare warm baths for you. He will also stick multiple straws together so you have a super long straw and can drink while laying down. Pure comfort, only for you.

He is also overprotective as hell. He basically invented the word. He took off time from work to solely be with you and your future family. But that doesn't mean he is slacking off. Any danger he sees, he will be your personal protection shield.

You know how you've heard about those husbands that will bring their video games to play games while their partner is giving birth? Yeah, Miguel fully believes these men should be put behind bars. Our man is by your side, holding your hand and supporting you through all of it. He's also stressing out all the doctors and nurses. He wants to make sure they're alert and treat you with the utmost urgency and respect.

He's definitely, in his head, screaming with you. Can't stand to see you in pain, and just wants to welcome his babygirl into the world.

He will definitely bring you flowers, but also bring flowers for his new little princess.

Upside-Down Kisses with Spiderverse Characters

A/N: Writing the thing! The iconic thing!

Peter will kiss you when you're around the house doing mundane things. He'll walk up to you, tapping you on the shoulder first, a wink thrown your way before his lips press against yours, his stuble feeling scratcy and ticklish on your cheek.

Miles sneaks up behind you, fully invisible until you feel his soft lips on your cheek, one after the other before you blink and there he is, in front of you. You found him, now you get a proper kiss on the lips as your prize or how ever many you want.

Gwen hesitates to let you pull her mask down enough for a kiss but relents after the first kiss. Over the mask it won't feel the same, she won't feel your lips properly, or the shaky sigh you let out when her fingers brush your cheek as she pulls your face back for more.

Miguel teases as pushes his tongue into your mouth after he bites at your lips slowly, humming into your mouth as he slowly descends down from his web. Once he's low enough he flips over and picks you up to carry you to the couch.

Hobie kisses you many times over at a very awkward angle before he figures out the right one, where your lips fall together like puzzle pieces. He takes his sweet time with you, each kiss a bit longer then the last until you can't go without kisses.

miles would be like “no! stealing is wrong! 😤 but they look so cool while doing it tho 😩” his mind would be so confused, because yeah you're stealing, but only from rich people and he heard rumors about black cat helping people on the streets. one day he used his invisibility power to spy on you during one of your heist, he could have stopped you a hundred times that day, but he didn't. he might have developed the tiniest crush on you.

gwen thinks that you're the coolest person alive. yeah stealing is wrong, but she honestly doesn't care at all lol. as long as you're not hurting anyone you can rob as many rich people as you want she won't stop you. sometimes you meet on rooftops at night and often end up teaming up with her to defeat some bad guys, then you watch the sunrise together while chatting about your lives.

pavitr is suspicious of you at first, he understands that you're not a threat to the people he protects but he doesn't treat you like an ally either. he kept his distance from you until the day you saved his life; now he trusts you entirely and he likes to do his night shifts in your company. he knows you won't like it but he's very worried about you and your illegal activity, he'd rather have you doing vigilante work with him.

hobie is a big fan. he heard about you as someone who stole the rich to give to the poor and he was like “slay.” he's the one who came to you during one of your heists and asked you to team up with him. now you, pavitr and hobie want to rob museums to return all the stolen objects to their people. hobie admires you a lot, like gwen, he thinks you're the coolest person he ever met and coming from him, that means a lot.

GUYS I CAN ALREADY SEE THE ENEMIES TO LOVERS FICS COMING IN miguel wants to see you as nothing more than another enemy, he really wants to, but it's such a difficult task when you're helping people with the money of your robberies and you're looking so good while doing it too. he tried to stop you on multiple occasions, but every time he was about to put an end to your crimes something in his mind made him fail. for now you two will keep playing that cat and mouse game, well, cat and spider game, but one day you'll have to kiss him on the mouth, that'll calm him down.
