idk if it sounds selfish but i need more comfort in my life rn, so i wanna ask for help.

if it's not really a big deal, i wanna see some comfort between alastor and reader when they were teens. maybe after he already told her that he wants to marry her, and something made her feel insecure and bad about herself. so she called Marie and ask Alastor to come, so she could lie down in his arms and listen him telling her that he loves her anyway.

or any other plots because I'll be okay with everything if it's fluff. thank you.

Of course dearest, anything for you to feel better. For those who will notice it, their last sentence is from the song “ Follow You” by Bring me the Horizon. I love this song and I thought it was pretty fitting. So here ,my dear, this scenario isn’t very long but I hope it will make you feel better.

Follow You

You were coming back from school, trying to contain your tears.

You had told Alice about Alastor’s wedding proposal and she was excited for you but some other girls heard you and made fun of you. How could a man see you desirable enough to be his wife? Most of the time, you didn’t care about their vile words, but you didn’t know why, today it was hurtful. Of course, Alice had taken your side immediately swearing at them like a sailor.

You didn’t greet your parents as you went immediately into your bedroom, hiding yourself under the blankets. You couldn’t even look at yourself in the mirror. Were you even worth being Alastor’s wife? He would always say you were “endearingly stupid”, did it mean he saw you as a stupid girl? Was he manipulating you?

Were you worth being special to someone’s heart?

You jerked your head up as you heard a knock on your window. You wiped your eyes and saw Alastor, his fist against the glass, staring at you. You opened the window quickly, scared he would fall.

“ Alastor, what are you doing here?”

“ I heard my mother talking with yours through the telephone, saying you didn’t feel well, so I came to check on you.” he entered your room, looking at you. You saw his eyes stopped at your tearied one. You tried to look away but he gripped your face, making sure he could watch your expression. “ Who?”

“ What..?”

“ Who made you cry?” he said with a gentle smile but his eyes had a dark glint.

“ No one.. It’s just… Am I worth it , Alastor?”

You gasped as Alastor forced you to lay on your bed, pushing something soft in your arms. Looking down on it you almost cried some more as you saw Eamon staring back at you. You squeezed it against your chest as Alastor laid next to you, observing your face.

“ Dearest, you’re just like a jewel. Being desired by people and those who can't have you are jealous. You are like a fresh breeze in summer, so short and yet so welcomed. You are much more than how you perceive yourself.”

“ But.. I feel like I’m going to be a useless wife…”

“ Hah! You, my dear, a useless wife? You could be doing nothing at home, as long as you are waiting for me, I would feel the happiest. But why would you think that? You have always been to my side, always accepted me. Why would I choose someone else to be next to me for my entire life? How could I look at anyone else now that my eyes have seen you?”

“ Alastor.. Do you love me…?”

He looked perplexed but wrapped his arms around your body, staring at your eyes without blinking.

“ I don’t know what love is about. But if loving you is wanting to devour you all, to protect you, you have your attention on me all the time, then I guess.. that I love you. But please, dearest, remember that even though I adore you, more than anything, my love is tainted with darkness. No matter how much I’m obsessed with you, I’ll drag you down to hell with me. I'm telling you, you're all I need, I promise you, you're all I see. I’ll never leave.” he stared at you, waiting for your answer.

“ I’ll follow you.’ you breathed, staring at his chocolate eyes. “So dig two graves because when you die, I swear I'll be leaving by your side. So you can drag me through hell, I’ll follow you.” you smiled sweetly at him as he beamed at your words, his cheeks flushed. He squeezed you against his body, Eamon between the both of you.

You would always be together, the both of you. Alastor would always be by your side, like a curse, clawing at you to keep you from leaving, even if you would never think such a thing.

Your love was twisted, tainted in dark obsession but it was perfect for the both of you. Maybe people wouldn’t consider it as love, but you knew deep inside, Alastor would always chase after you if you were to run away. If you were to run away because of your feelings, your fears, everything, the only person who would chase you would be Alastor. And you knew he would never stop.

He would follow you.

Announcement:

So! As I showed, Lando and Violet announced their engagement on social media.

But that was after they talked to their families.

With Lando's was easy, since Violet is more comfortable with them

They announced it to them after Christmas day, right the day of their anniversary

And of course they were happy for them! His parents even asked them if they needed money to help them get everything done or if they needed help to organize things

Lando and Violet were so happy watching how they cwere haply for them and even daydreaming for some hours

It was easy

But what wasn't easy was telling her family

In the time they were dating, her family never stopped asking for favors, or even getting interested whenever they wanted

So Violet was nervous, of course

She only wanted to go to her hometown to visit her grandma and Eloise's grave

The moment Violet pressed the ring bell she immediately wanted to leave.

"Hey, I'm here" Lando whispered. "Ignore theme focus on Nana and then we'll leave, yeah?"

"What if they ask things?" Violet sighed looking at him. "Is it wrong that I don't feel bad because I don't want them there?"

"They never were there for you, love" he sighed. "You have every right to feel that way"

Lando knew she missed having a family. She missed not having a pair of parents that could take care of her, worry and ask about her.

"Wow, you decided to come" her mom frowned when she opened the door.

"Mhm" Violet hummed, walking in followed by Lando.

Her face immediately hanged when she saw her grandma.

Lando saw her grandma, Nana, a few times.

When they finished decorating their house, Violet wanted her to go and watch it, as well as meeting Lando.

Violet focused on her grandma, and when she said that Lando and her were getting married, she rolled her eyes the moment her mother clapped and started bombing them with questions.

"I hope you two make the wedding of the century"

"You two have money, didn't you buy a house? I guess you won't need our help"

"Who will you invite?"

Violet took a deep breath and looked at her parents. She knows what they are doing.

"I came here to talk with the only woman that cared about me" Violet said. "To the woman that took care of me when you two were too busy with job that you couldn't take care of your own daughter"

"We are your parents!" her mother exclaimed. "How dare you talk to me that way?"

"You only gave me birth. The one who took care of me was Nana, and she will be the one taking me to the aisle. I don't care if you like it or not" Violet said serious, making Lando feel proud of her. "You two are strangers to me. And it's your fault, so don't come crying later"

Lando couldn't help but feel sad, because this for real was a way ofngrtting her parents south of her life.

Planning:

The day they got engaged, they went to bed with the biggest smile they ever had in their faces.

It was another step in their relationship, another step to a future together

"I can't stop looking at it" Violet smiled, looking at the beautiful ring with little stones on it. "It's so beautiful, Lando... So so beautiful"

Lando smiled looking at her hand, kissing her lips softly when she looked up at him.

They were living a real dream,feeling their chests warm with a new feeling.

"Have you ever imagined how our wedding would be?" Violet asked him.

"Well, I think something simple and private" Lando smiled. "With our friends and family in it, you wearing an amazing white dress. And if course, Rhys and Feyre will have to give us the rings"

"Oh definitely!" she giggled, looking at their dogs. "Our kids have to be present, huh?"

"Yeah" he smiled. "I always wanted to get married in a big place. Like, a villa or something like that, where our guests can stay the weekend and relax too"

"I like how it sounds"

They started planning just the basic things, the guests, going to see places and of course what they would wear

Violet went with her grandma, Pietra, Lily and Carmen to try some dresses

And of course, she asked her grandma to the one to take her to the aisle and Pietra to be her maid of honor

But when things started to go well, they had to interrupt the planning because of Violet's work

"It will be okay, love" Lando reassured her. "We have half of the job done, right? And you are not leaving for many months, just three. It will be okay"

They kept planning things with video calls, and of course they had the help of a wedding planner team

The wedding:

They rented a venue in England, of course

The day before getting married, both of them slept separately, just to get ready the next day without looking at each other's outfit.

Their dogs slept with them, Rhysand with Lando and Ferr with Violet, since they decided they wanted them to be part of the bridesmaids and the groomsmen

To add a little of fun to the wedding, Carlos and Violet decided to prank Lando

(Or maybe because she wanted to have a Carlando moment on their wedding album)

Some weeks before the wedding, Carlos went with her to buy a white dress

So while Violet was getting ready with her bridesmaids, Carlos did the same before getting ready himself

Somehow Violet convinced Lando to make a first look photoshoot, so Lando went to the backyard of the venue and waited for Violet

Everyone knew about the prank except him

So when Carlos walked in, dressed in a white dress and holding Violet's flowers, everyone had to hold their laugh

Lando smiled nervous, biting his lip when he heard the photographer taking pictures of them

He felt a hand on his and he immediately frowned, not recognizing Violet's hand

And the moment he turned around and found Carlos, he couldn't hold it and started laughing

It's safe to say that Carlando got married? There are pictures that can confirm it

But then the real time came

Lando was ready waiting for Violet, with Max next to him as well as all his friends

The moment he saw her walking next to her grandma, Lando couldn't stop crying

Max smiled, giving him a tissue and patting his back

Lando never thought he could fall in love even more

Their dogs had the rings, Rhys had Violet's and Feyra had Lando's

After the ceremony, they had the banquet

It was everything they dreamed before

A fairytale place, with amazing food (no fish in it)

And the moment if their first dance as husband and wife came

When they had to think about a song for their first dance, they wanted a song that talks about them

The first time they heard it, in Violet's old apartment, they cried while hearing it

So they immediately added it to the planning

They held each other, whispering the lyrics to the other while moving since to side at the beat of the song

Everyone was quiet, hearing the song and the meaning of it

Who knows their story, they know why they chose that song

"I love you, Violet Norris" Lando whisper in her ear

"I love you too, Lando Norris" she smiled

favorite color: i feel like i fluctuate between like... 4 different shades of blue/green dependent on the season, so rn, it's baby blue/navy blue and forest green. in the spring, it'll probably be like... lime green

last movie/tv show: last movie is the sadness on shudder and it was kinda nasty and like not very good, but i guess if you're into gore, you should probably watch it. last tv show is fargo, which is stupid good.

sweet/savory/spicy: i like all of the above tbh. i have a HUGE sweet tooth, but i also love salt and spice. everything i make is usually spicy lol

relationship status: married for five years in july :-)

last thing i googled: eagle sounds to scare squirrels (i have them living in my attic and i don't want to kill them so i've resorted to blasting terrifying noises in my house so that they go away lmfaooooo)

current obsession: pinterest. i literally live on pinterest and if pinterest were ever deleted, i would consider my life as good as over

last book: the last book i finished was the house across the lake by riley sager, which i urge everyone to read. i'm currently reading the virgin suicides, and it's kind of a snore fest lmao

looking forward to: stage managing again. i like telling people what to do lololol

last show: currently rewatching Doctor Who (specifically the 11th Doctor)

Last movie: The Titanic!!! And it was in theaters for the 25th anniversary!

currently watching: literally watching Doctor Who rn as stated before

currently reading: so um actually I'm saving this to read when I get my tattoo done (it's gonna be a 4 hour session) but One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig

current obsession: I hate saying this bc it's embarrassing but my hyper fixation for the past few months has straight up been Aemond Targaryen and Ewan Mitchell. Like I am completely in awe of both the character and the actor. The character? He's a war criminal meow meow. The actor? GOOD GOD what a guy! I love his interviews, I love his passion, he's kind of turned into a role model ish for me??? Idk if role model is the right word but I just look up to him as an actor now. You can see the passion when he acts and that can't always be said. His interviews are very much proof of that as well.

Disclaimer: This maybe a bit short, underaged drinking, some harsh language

"If I'm gonna be honest I'm actually shitting myself Billy." You panicked to your boyfriend. He looked to you softly.

"Can you stop shitting your pants, you will do great." He said.

"You really think so." You look to him with big eyes. He can't help but laugh at the state of you. The first night Billy had met you was, of course, at a party were you promptly punched him in the nose. To this day you say it was an accident but Billy knows it was on purpose. He was being an ass... and you both were drunk.

"Hey." Billy smiled to you. " You are going to give the most amazing show these hicks the best show of their lives and after we are going to have the best sex of our lives." Billy laughed as you punched him in the arm for the horrible sex joke. Your expression still did not change. He brought you closer to squeeze you into a hug. He kissed your lips as an announcement was heard throughout the bar.

"Everybody, I would like to introduce a new band to you. You don't know them, but many mothers have complained about their volume level. I'd like to welcome.... VELVET CONCORD!!"

There was a small clap echo that went through the Hide Out bar. That didn't help in any way for you. Your expression stayed the same, terrified.

"You got this babe." Billy whispered. You nodded.

"You ready girl?" Dusk asked right behind the both of you.

"With the amount of crap in my pants... I guess." You are unsure about this.

This has been your dream ever since you could play guitar. You met Thorn, Luna, and Dusk all in middle school. You guys came up with Velvet Concord for the middle school talent show in 1977. That show solidified your friendship. Sure you guys didn't win but you didn't care. You all found something that will bind you together forever. This show in this bar is your first real show, not one for some school dance or party with preselected music. You will be playing original songs that you wrote, with notes that Dusk came up with, bass from Thorn, and drums from Luna. You didn't want to screw this up for them.

We've dealt with so much bullshit. From bullying cause of how we dress, to our music, jeez it only stopped when you started dating Billy. Everyone would pick on us until they needed a band for the party, and in the words of Tommy H. "I'd rather have you than the freak and his band." At least you weren't the second pick.

You and Velvet Concord made your way on stage. You nearly tripping over some cords. You were sweating, so much sweat. My throat is dry. The lights are glaring down at me. ' I can't do this' 'I should give up'.... 'What am I doing?'

"Yeeeaaaah!" A voice broke you off your head. "Let's go Velvet Concord!" It was your Billy. The Billy you punch in the face. The Billy you asked out. The Billy that asked you to be his girlfriend. The Billy that told you how sexy you look in your stage outfit tonight. The Billy that has non stopped supported you once both were together.

"Um... Hello everyone we are Velvet Concord." You started. "This is my bassist Thorn, my drummer Luna, and my pianist Dusk." Okay you've introduced everyone.

Now the show begins.

"1...2...3..."

Your guitar was on fire. You were synced with the band as if it were second nature. The upbeat rock blared through out the Hide Out. Luna put every heart beat into her drums. You don't think you have ever felt so alive. Every lyric that was sang was like it was being constructed for the first time all over again. You're back in the garage practicing what cord goes were and what note was perfect. The set that your prepared for the night was selected perfectly. Nothing can beat this. The nervous sweat now turned to excitement. Screaming every note with passion. Everything was right, this is how it is supposed to be. Velvet Concord under bright lights, even if they were from some dingy rock bar. The last riff finally hit. Thorn played it out a bit as usual.

"But on my tombstone when I go just put death by rock and roll~"

There was an eruption of applause through the crowd. The lights were turned down now you could see everyone in the crowd. Everyone cheering for your band.

"That's my girlfriend!!" A shrill voice yelled. You laughed at Billy's antics. You didn't see where he was until a force came up on stage an tackled you into a hug.

"This is my fucking girlfriend!!" He yelled to the crowd. Which in return made them scream even louder at his banter. You looked behind to see your band mates laughing at your boyfriend. You step forward away from Billy for a moment.

"Thank you everyone!." You and your band took your, very much rehearsed, bow to the crowd. You quickly unhooked your guitar from the speakers to be dragged backstage by your boyfriend. As he turned you around he brought you in for a hot kiss. Which surprised you cause you thought this would be saved for later.

"You were the most amazing and sexy woman I have ever met!" Billy cheered to you. You laughed in response. He brought your into a bear crushing hug.

"Was it really that good?" you asked.

"Good? It was better than good, it was great!" He yelled.

"Yo Y/n, get your mans under control." Thorn laughed. "We've only just begun, if he's this excited about our first show he might wipe out by our next." You girls laughed along with her. Meanwhile Billy was smothering you with a hug. If your hair wasn't already frazzled it would have been a mess.

"Guys! Guys!" Luna shouted as she ran to you all. "Joel just gave me out check!" She waved. You quickly snatched it from her flailing hand.

"Oh my gosh!" Your eyes widen at the amount, sure for some it wasn't a lot but damn!

"Who want's to flipping celebrate!!" You cheered.

"Yeeeeeaaaaahhh" Everyone else cheered in agreement. Going to run out to the bar to party. Billy stoped for a quick moment alone.

"You really are the best girl ever." He smiled. you smiled to giving him a kiss on the lips.

"Now let's get wasted!" He cheered taking you along with him.

"Yeah!"

currently working on: a "five times" fic centered around kim wexler's 40th birthday. i will probably have a very long author's note about this when i finally finish it, but for now i will say: i find it really difficult to think up canon AUs from better call saul because pretty much all of the key turning points come from decisions the characters make, and not circumstance. and they are just so well-written and in-character that it's really hard for me to imagine them making different ones. (especially different ones that lead to the specific scenarios i want to explore.)

so, it's an interesting challenge i've given myself, to figure out how kim might still be living in nebraska at age 40, or stuck it out to finally become a partner at HHM, or still sharing an office with her ex at Wexler-McGilll, or...or...

Last song I listened to: technically it was 'in the end' by linkin park on max f's stream before he started playing valorant and i switched off. but by choice it was my workout playlist (actually forced myself to do a cardio class after work!!) and the song was silly boy by lynks which is an absurdly fun song. HE'S A DICK, HE'S A PIECE OF SHIT! HE'S A FUCKING PISS-SLIT! HE'S THE END BIT OF THE BANANA WHEN YOU PEEL IT!

Favourite colour: i'm very sorry for how angsty mall goth this sounds but it's black tbh. i go through phases with other colours too. rn i'm in a pale green phase and i also like that kind of dusty pale pink that got called millennial pink a few years ago. i'm not really into bright colours though, as a rule.

Currently watching: episode 4 of fallout right this second. i just got to the cameo in this episode and i'm delighted by it. in general, i'm watching fallout, ripley, race against the world and taskmaster season 17 at the moment.

Sweet/savory/spicy: spicy!!! i love spicy food. someone rec me some good spicy hot sauces that are available in the UK pls. i had the buldak 'extremely hot' chicken sauce recently but i didn't feel like it was especially hot and i didn't like the taste much either.

Current obsession: GUESS. but lando aside: mechanical keyboard videos on tiktok (i just got influenced into buying one and i am obsessed with it, it sounds SO. GOOD.) cyberpunk 2077 obviouslyyyy, stardew valley, cawston press rhubarb seltzer, kiwi fruits.
