07.06.2022 ~ Cookies make working and studying way better!

I just finished the second month of working, and I feel like I still have to get used to it. Although I already did several internships, working feels like a whole other responsibility. For this month, I want to re-establish some habits from earlier this year, like running, reading, and joining a choir.

My funny story for the blogrates: One Christmas Eve some years ago, I had some movies as presents for my parents (Jurassic World and Minions) because our family likes both the Jurassic Park movies and Despicable Me Movies very much. My mother, however, ended up with the same idea so in the end we had both movies twice! After that, we decided never to give each other movies as presents again.

My studyblr is my main (and only) blog and I tag my original content with #pinkstudies.

and this actually happened to a friend of mine!!! she spent ages saving up money to buy her mum this really nice and expensive blanket and when she gave it to her mum for Christmas her mum barely reacted... her mum thought she had opened the wrong gift because she had bought my friend the exact same thing 😂

WOOOO LET'S GO PART 2

✨With most schools, colleges and unis closed around the globe and most studyblr students now having school at home I thought I would create a challenge to help everyone stay focused and productive and also to connect with people so even though most people are self-isolating, we don’t feel lonely✨

Because no one really knows when we’re going to be able to go back to schools and I know it will depend very much on where you live, I’m going to do a month of daily ‘challenges’ starting on Monday 23rd March 2020 but if the quarantine keeps going I’ll try to add as the weeks/months go on

Nickname: Sometimes people call me Liv but I’ve never really wanted a nickname

Last thing I googled: “Zodiac birth chart” - I’ve always wanted to know and this game gave me the perfect excuse! It was quite accurate!

Numbers of followers: 168! (I’m so grateful for each and every one of you! My small blog has been growing so much recently! I love you all!)

Amount of sleep: 13 hours - I’ve been catching up on sleep over winter break because my mental health has been suffering and last night I went to bed early and slept in this morning!

Dream job: I’m thinking of becoming a therapist and just helping people who have struggled with their mental health the same way I have and show them that they’re not alone and that they can get better! Or an actress... I really like theatre.

Wearing: Leggings, a comfy shirt, and an oversized Beetlejuice sweatshirt because it’s that time of the month! Going into the new year with a period! Whoop!

Favorite author: I really like Sarah J. Mass but I know that she can be quite problematic - her books will always hold a special place in my heart as my intro to fantasy, though. Currently, Casey McQuinston is a favorite. I just finished reading Red, White, and Royal Blue and I cannot recommend it enough!!

Random: As the new year arrives, I hope you are taking it easy and making sure that your goals are reachable and not beating yourself up for making mistakes. Quarantine tag game

I was tagged (kinda??) by @germanellewoods

1. Are you staying home from work/school? yep.

2. If you’re staying home, who’s there with you? this might defeat the purpose of quarantining but i’ll try to explain as best i can. Right now i’m with my nan, pop, aunt and uncle, my three cousins, and J’s girlfriend at my uncle and aunt’s farm, but we’re split between two houses and a converted bus.

my nan and pop, being the most at risk, are living in the bus for now. Jo and my aunt and uncle are all still working as normal and are in the other house to prevent cross infection. J, N J’s girlfriend (who im gonna call S from now on) and I have the run of the main house. We still have family meetings most nights and have dinner together when we can, we just have to be careful about being seen all at once (the police came knocking cause they thought we were having a party but it was literally like 4 of us having a rave in the kitchen to 2000s pop.).

also Jo won’t sop making Fire Emblem: Three Houses jokes. So thats something.

TL;DR: staying with like 8 other people, could be seen as slightly dodgy.

3. Do you have pets to keep you company? yes. My dog Benny and my uncle’s dog Lilly.

4. Who do you miss the most? since I’m quarantining with my entire fam, i’d say @cursedmybedroom . Love ya Liv!

5. When was the last time you left your home? This morning it was my turn to run errands since i had to sort out something at the centrelink a few towns over.

6. What was the last thing you bought? usb adapter for my computer, and groceries.

7. Is quarantine driving you insane or are you finally relaxed? its not quarantine thats driving me nuts, its online uni.

8. Are you a homebody? yes.

9. What movies have you watched recently I watched Hidden Figures last night with my nan and pop, but im more of a tv show person imo

10. An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled? My uni’s performance of Wicked. You can get free tickets to shows that the performing arts guys put on every few months if you’re a student at my university. I’m sure there’ll be others but I’ve wanted to see Wicked for ages. Let’s just hope Legally Blonde isnt cancelled.

11. What’s the worst thing that you’ve had to cancel? J’s 21st.

12. What’s the best thing that you’ve had to cancel? I had two quizzes for a class that have now been merged into one and pushed back a few weeks!

13. Do you have any new hobbies? Nope!

14. What are you out of? milk.

15. What music are you listening to? mainly dance/edm, early 2010s pop and bands like Muse or Breaking Benjamin.

16. What shows are you watching? Castlevania and Stranger Things (for like the 50th time lmao)

17. What are you reading? Nothing except my textbooks rn tbh.

18. What are you doing for self-care? Video game nights with my cousins! Jo seems particuuarly insistent that he can kick my ass at Mario Kart (spoiler alert: he cant, doesnt stop him from trying tho). Besides that, we’re outlining a Castlevania AU that will probably never see the light of day, but its fun to plan out, unitl it gets angsty.

19. Are you exercising? There’s still chores and stuff to do around the farm but apart from tat i’m innundated in uni work so not really??

20. How’s your toilet paper supply? No idea lmao. I know there’s plenty at my place though.

21. Have you made any changes to your hair during quarantine? nope!
