i truly cannot believe this number and i’m so thankful to every single one of you. i wish i could come and say thank you to each one of you... but that would probably take ages lol

i know i say this at every milestone but when i started my studyblr i truly would have been awed and thrilled with 100 followers... so to think that there is now 20,000 of you all is utterly mind boggling

i’m so so thank for all your support and i hope that what i post is inspiring and helpful to you all! i’ve said it before (and i’ll say it a million times more) but this community is one of the best things in my life so hopefully you all enjoy my small contribution <3

i’ve done blogrates before and honestly i enjoy them so so much so decided to do it again! every time i get close to a milestone i tell myself that i’m gonna do soemthing cool and different but then i remember how much i enjoy blogrates so here we go again xD

Okay funny story, Canelle always jumps into water bodies if he sees a cat across, like my sweet little child you don’t even like your very rare showers after a muddy day how can you just jump into water to catch a cat???

i am literally obsessed with all your canelle stories and pictures cause he is just the cutest! this also reminds me of my friend’s dog, Snowy (note from the name that this is a pure white dog), who is as dumb as a bag of bricks, and once accidentally jumped into a muddy pond because it was covered with duck weed and he thought it was grass- the mess on this dog was unimaginable

🌱 biggest congrats on 20k!!! it’s so deserved, you’re such a pillar of this community. my studyblr is a sideblog, @idlestudy and I use #mine to tag original content! oh, and funny story time— I TA an intro class that had an assignment about the signing chimpanzee “Nim Chimpsky” (named after famed linguist Dr Noam Chomsky) and one student wrote the whole assignment referring to him exclusively as “Mr. Chimpsky” which just killed me. that’s all! congrats again, happy celebration!!

Congrats on 20k! 🥳 My fave emoji is 🥺 and I tag my content with #stressed medstudent and #mine (but for some reason it never shows when I search). I don't know if this counts as a funny story (it's more like an embarrassing story) but I was a volunteer at this workshop and I had to bring my laptop just in case they needed it and they asked me if they can use it. I was like "sure, let me turn it on", I turned it on and for 4 hours it was doing it's updates..... I thought I was gonna dig a hole in the ground and never come out of it, but luckily they managed to do the workshop without my laptop

i hate it when laptops (or other devices) randomly decide to update right at the moment when you need them most!

As for a funny story, I was driving back from dance practice the other day and had to stop bc sheep were crossing the road and all of a sudden my car was surrounded by sheep and they would not leave me alone

😝 so my partner and I are fairly smart people, valedictorians of our classes, but only separately. When you put us together, we lose dozens of iq points. Yesterday when we baked cookies, we couldn't figure out why our batter was thick and tasted like straight butter. We forgot the sugar. We forgot the most essential ingredient in cookies. So, funny story here: my cat is not the sharpest tool in the shed, and, as all cats, he loves boxes. We once had a box on our living room with the flaps turned upwards so you couldn't see its content, and it had a sewing machine inside, but from my cat's perspective it wasn't visible. So my cat jumped to get into the box, as one does, but the fall was cut short as he landed on top of the sewing machine. His face was priceless!!! He was so confused for a full three minutes, it was hilarious.

🦇 is my favorite emoji rn because I just got a bat tattoo!! I have an embarrassing funny story for you as well - before my boyfriend and I started dating, he actually saw both of my parents in the shower. Literally the first time he came over, and no, not together. On two SEPARATE occasions within 12 hours, my boyfriend didn't knock on the door and walked in on one of my parents. 😂

Right now I have no original content up! I am a new student and new studyblr and started school 3 days ago, at some point when I do post OC I will use the tag #rorith

✨hii (it's @stu-dna aka harriet on main 🥰) so last Oct. my friend & i were living together bc we were doing an internship at the same company. she was having a not-so-great day so i made pizza. i said she needs to grab utensils. she thuds over to the drawer, angrily grabs a spoon, sits down & attempts to start cutting into the pizza. it took a solid 20 secs of confusion before she realised that spoons arent the best utensil for eating pizza. i cried (sorry it's not the funniest 😅)

i have legit been following your main for months not knowing who it was but knowing that it was one of my studyblr mutuals so i’m glad that i know now 😂

and i honestly feel like that would be something i would totally do because sometimes my brain just short ciruits so i truly empathise with your friend!

✨congrats on 20k!! I guess that this is my submission for the blograte celebration. My studyblr is @brightstudyblr (which is a sideblog) and original content is tagged #el studies. For a funny story, in high school during Valentine’s Day I sent my best friend a candy gram and a secret admirer letter (which was all cute and cheesy) as a prank. She completely fell for it and asked basically half the school if they knew who it was. I let it simmer for a while then I sent a second letter which said ‘do you wanna meet up check yes or no then leave the note in ‘this book’ at the library’ and when she went to put the note there I was waiting to tell her it was a prank. The whole thing was hilarious.

My funny story for the blogrates: One Christmas Eve some years ago, I had some movies as presents for my parents (Jurassic World and Minions) because our family likes both the Jurassic Park movies and Despicable Me Movies very much. My mother, however, ended up with the same idea so in the end we had both movies twice! After that, we decided never to give each other movies as presents again.

My studyblr is my main (and only) blog and I tag my original content with #pinkstudies.
