A/N: Yes I based this off of the Tinkerbell fairies and used some characters from it, so I pretty much just mixed the worlds :)

I was so excited we were bringing fall to the mainland! I was going to Hogwarts with some other fairies, but I was told to talk to Fern. I was confused as to why I was being sent to see our leader, but I didn’t let it dampen my mood. I fluttered into her office and she looked slightly stressed.

“Hey Fern! What’s up?” I asked, as I sat on her desk. She sighed at me and took a seat.

“I need you to keep your eyes on the job and not associate with the wizards that are there.” She said and I gasped.

“Of course! Why would I-”

“Don’t even try and pretend, Y/N, we both know you are fascinated with humans, and wizards fall under that category.” She said with a pointed look.

“But they throw such awesome parties!” I whined.

“Y/N, I’m serious, we can’t associate with the humans. It’s dangerous.” She said and I frowned.

“But the wizards and witches know of us already.” I said and she sighed.

“I know they do, but that doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous. You know our dust is more powerful than their magic and some of them are going to want to use that for themselves.” She said and I sighed.

“But the students wouldn’t, I mean come on Fern, they’re just kids!” I said and she sighed once again.

“Do you not remember Tom Riddle? He almost got one of the Winter Fairies! Do you know how much more dangerous he would be if he had managed to kept them?” She said and I groaned.

“That was one in a million chance.” I waved her off.

“No parties. No associating with humans. Just do your job and come back.” She said, extremely serious. I deflated and nodded sadly.

“Fine…” I answered quietly.

“Good, now go get ready it’s a long flight.” She said, waving me out of her office. I flew out of her office and to the dust tree to collect my extra ration for the trip. I fluttered up to the counter and rested my chin on my hands.

“Hey Y/N, what’s with the disappointed look? This is your favorite time of the year!” Terence said as he pulled out the new bag of dust.

“Fern just gave me a talking to about socializing with the witches and wizards.” I sighed and he chuckled.

“She’s right, you know.” He said, writing on his clipboard.

“They’re not dangerous, she’s being dramatic!” I said, throwing my hands in the air.

“Y/N/N, they are dangerous, they’re humans with magic, that makes them extra dangerous!” He said and I rolled my eyes.

“Terence, they’re really not dangerous.” I said and he shook his head.

“Hey guys, Y/N, you ready for the trip?” Lilac asked as she floated down next to me.

“She’s disappointed that Fern told her she couldn’t associate with the humans.” Terence answered with a smirk before I could say anything.

“Aww, she’s just upset she can’t talk to that wizard boy she has a crush on.” Lilac said with a smirk. I blushed and looked down at my bag of dust.

“I do not…” I mumbled.

“You have a crush on a human!?” Terence shrieked. I quickly covered his mouth and looked around.

“Hush!” I hissed and pulled my hands away. Lilac laughed and I shot her a glare.

“I don’t have a crush on Fred!” I hissed and she smirked.

“I never said his name.” She said in a sing-song tone. I blushed deeper and snatched my bag of dust.

“I’m going to get ready for the trip.” I said and flew off. I heard Lilac giggling as Terence asked her if I was crazy.

We had made it to Hogwarts and got straight to work. I was with Lilac flying over the grass to make it grow a bit taller. We flew past the Gryffindor tower and I heard the party they were throwing through the windows. I paused what I was doing and looked up at the tower. Lilac stopped flying a bit further ahead of me and flew back to me.

“Y/N, we gotta finish the grass.” She said and I bit my lip.

“I heard the humans throw awesome parties…” I mumbled and she sighed.

“If you finish this grass with me then I’ll keep my mouth shut and you can go hang out with your crush for a bit.” She said and I shot my head over to her.

“Really?” I asked with a huge smile.

“Yes, now come on!” She giggled. I flew off as fast as I could and made the grass grow as fast as I could. Lilac met me at the end of the section and she laughed at me.

“Can I go now?” I asked and she nodded with a giggle.

“Go get your wizard boy.” She winked.

“Thank you!” I hugged her tightly. I flew off and into the castle. I got to the Gryffindore painting and transformed into my human size. I looked back at my wings and frowned. I couldn’t hide them… I shrugged and turned to face the painting.

“Password?” She asked and I smiled.

“Caput Draconis.” I said and she opened. I stepped inside and smiled. I loved parties! I walked over to the alcohol table and smiled. Human drinks were always great! Sure they got me drunk so fast, but Lilac will watch out for me. I poured myself some fire-whiskey, it was my favorite! I felt someone wrap their arm around my shoulder and graze my wings. I snapped my head to the right and saw a ginger boy with a huge smile on his face.

“I didn’t think I’d see a fairy here tonight.” He said. I smiled brightly at him as I faced him.

“I was told by my superior not to associate with humans tonight, but I managed to sneak away. You know I love a party.” I said and he nodded.

“Carful with the drinks, love, you still gotta fly back tonight, don’t you?” He asked and I nodded as I took a sip. The war feeling spread through my body and I sighed happily.

“Yeah, but what’s a party without a few drinks?” I asked and he shook his head with a smile.

“Let’s not drink and fly tonight, yeah?” He asked and I sighed.

“Fine, one drink.” I said, taking another sip.

“I’m holding you to that, I know you’ll get drunk off just one.” He said and I rolled my eyes.

“Not my fault your alcohol isn’t made for people of my size.” I said and he laughed.

“I could always get you a thimble to use as a cup, I think Hermione has one.” He said and I glared at him.

“I’m perfectly capable of drinking from a human cup, thank you very much!” I said and he chuckled.

“Finish your drink, then we can dance.” He said and I smiled. I quickly downed my drink, which was a mistake because I almost instantly felt the effects, but I didn’t care. Fred bowed in front of me and offered me his hand. I slid my hand into his with a giggle and he led me to the middle of the room. I stumbled a bit, but he caught me with his hands on my waist.

“Carful, love.” He whispered in my ear and I blushed. He pulled back and smirked at me… he definitely knew what he was doing to me. The two of us swayed to the beat of the song and I wrapped my arms around his shoulders. We were pushed against each other and his mouth was inches from mine. The effects of the fire-wiskey clouded my brian as I lent in, placing me lips on his. He instantly returned it and I smiled slightly as he kissed me back. When we pulled apart he rested his head on my forehead.

“I missed you, Y/N.” He whispered, his breath fanning against my face.

“I missed you too, Freddie.” I whispered back.

“You should come visit more often, it’s no fun only seeing you a few times a year.” He pouted.

“I would love to, but you know how the fairies feel about humans, especially after that Tom boy.” I said with a sigh.

“I’m not like that, I like you for you, not your magic dust.” He said and I smiled.

“I know you are, most of you witches and wizards are, but they don’t believe me. They’re all scared of being captured.” I sighed.

“The only reason I’d capture you would be to keep you with me…” He trailed off and took a deep breath.

“I fancy you a lot, Y/N.” He said and I smiled at him brightly.

“I fancy you too, Fred, have for a long time now.” I replied. He smiled at me and pulled me in for another kiss.

“Freddie! Oh, sorry to interrupt.” George said and we pulled apart. Fred glared at his twin and I giggled. George smirked at us and gave me a wink.

“Finally he said something, I was sure I’d have to give him a love poition to admit his feelings.” He said and I laughed as Fred smacked him in the head.

“I’ll leave the two lovers be, nice to see you Y/N!” George said as he ran off into the party. Fred sighed as he looked back at me.

“Of course he had to ruin the moment…” He grumbled. I gently caressed his face and smiled.

“It’s not ruined.” I whispered. Fred smiled and pulled me impossibly close to him.

“Good.” He said and kissed me again. When we pulled apart I noticed a glowing yellow ball outside the window. I furrowed my brow and pushed my way over to it. Fred followed me as he called my name. I made it to the glass and my eyes widened as I saw Lilac floating there. She frowned at me and motioned for me to come outside. I sighed and deflated a bit, but nodded. She flew off and I turned to find Fred looking at me concerned.

“You alright?” He asked and I sighed.

“I have to go, Lilac just told me it was time to go back.” I answered. He frowned, but pulled me into him.

“Stay.” He caressed my cheek.

“Fred I-”

“Please, Y/N, stay here with me.” He begged and I looked into his brown eyes. They were pleading with me to stay, but I sighed.

“I can’t, if I stay I’ll run out of dust and get sick. I have to go home…” I said. He sighed but nodded.

“Let me walk you out at least.” He said and I nodded with a small smile. The two of us walked out of the Gryffindor room and headed for the entrance to Hogwarts. Lilac was there floating, waiting for me. I smiled at her, but Fred turned me to face him before I could go back to my normal size. He kissed me deeply and I happily sighed into the kiss.

“Come back soon, okay love?” He asked and I nodded.

“I’ll try my best, promise!” I said and pecked his lips once more. I transformed back to my normal size and flew up to Fred’s face. I kissed his nose and he chuckled. I waved to him before Lilac and I flew off. She looked at me with a knowing smirk and I couldn’t keep the smile off my face.

“So you got your wizard boy?” She asked and I sighed happily.

“He told me he loved me.” I said and she gave me a smile.

“You know it’s not going to work, you don’t really age like humans do and you can’t even go see him whenever you want.” She said and I sighed.

“Way to ruin the moment…” I huffed and she laughed.

“I’m just being realistic, Y/N/N, it’s not a relationship that you can have. You’re not even supposed to be around him.” She said and I groaned.

“Don’t remind me.” I said and she laughed.

“My lips are sealed.” She said, making a zipper motion over her lips.

“Thank you, you’re the best!” I said and she giggled.

“Y/N, Lilac, where have you been?” Chleo asked as she flew in front of us.

“We were finishing up the grass over near the castle, like you asked.” I said and she looked at me suspiciously.

“Lilac?” She asked and we both turned to face her.

“Yeah, do you wanna go look?” Lilac asked. Chleo glanced at both of us before sighing.

“You swear you didn’t go see any of those humans, Y/N?” She asked and I shook my head with my hands behind my back.

“Nope, I promised Fern.” I lied as best I could.

“You better be telling the truth because if Fern finds out you went to see the humans and lied about it, you’re gonna be stuck on hole digging duity for months.” She said and I groaned at the idea.

“I swear, I’m telling the truth!” I insisted. She smiled slightly and nodded.

“Good, go help the others with the leaves then we’re going back.” She said and we both nodded. We flew away and Lilac looked at me.

“That was close.” She said and I hushed her.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I said and she giggled. We helped the other fairies color the rest of the leaves on the trees, making some fall to the ground when I got an idea.

“Lilac, cover for me real quick, will you?” I asked and she looked at me confused.

“What are you doing?” She asked.

“I’m gonna leave a little gift for Fred.” I smiled as I collected some leaves. She looked at me with wide eyes and looked around us.

“Y/N! There’s too many fairies here, they’re gonna see you, then they’ll tell Fern, and you’ll be-”

“On hole digging duity, I know, but just cover for me and there will be no problems.” I smiled as I quickly tied the stems together. She sighed but flew off to color more leaves. I quickly finished tying the leaves together and flew off towards the castle. I said the password once I got to the Gryffindor painting and flew inside. I flew right up to Fred’s dorm room and quickly slipped under the door with the leaves in my hands. I placed the leaf crown I made on his bed and smiled. I quickly flew out the slightly opened window and back to the fairies. Lilac smiled at me as I flew next to her.

“What did you do?” She whispered.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I winked at her. She shook her head with a smile as we finished our job.

The sun was just starting to rise as we finished up and we quickly began the flight home. I looked back at Hogwarts as we were leaving and sighed. Lilac gently nudged me and gave me a sad smile.

“I believe you’ll see him again, I mean it is you.” She said and I laughed.

“I hope he likes the crown I made.” I said and she smiled.

“I think he will.” She said and I smiled at the thought. I was so determined to come back to Hogwarts, even if it meant I would have to steal some dust. I would see my Freddie again.
