Diary of an Ex-Witch- Story Idea

I have a new idea for a story.

It's going to be about a young woman who escaped from the lies of the new age and witchcraft. It was one of those random ideas that blossomed into something bigger.

I've decided to write it in a diary format. I'm now working on what exactly she would want to write about.

-How she woke up from the deception

-How she ended up sucked into the new age in the first place

-How these things have affected her relationships

-How has seeking Jesus changed her life

And many more ideas like that.

I'm also going to throw in a cult of delusional young women who think the demon lowercase g they're worshipping is actually doing them any favours. I saw this a lot on tik tok when I was on the app.

This addition is actually inspired by this witch I used to follow when I was in the new age. The demon lowercase g she 'works with' got upset with her because it didn't approve of one of the offerings and decided to drown her in her dream.

I'm am ex new ager, long ago. But even back then it was just as culty as it is now.

"You signed a soul contract to learn these lessons in this life before you were born," is just as shitty and toxic as "it's all part of God's plan." Then just how dangerously close most of the ideas get to an alt-right pipeline is scary. If it doesn't go right, it still tends to go extreme. I think new age beliefs have also dug into modern witchcraft beliefs and make it hard to sometimes pry the two apart depending on the maker of the content.

We also had a new ager come into the metaphysical shop I used to work at talking about 5D and higher vibrations and stuff. She basically accused us of going to hell because I decided to tell her "some of us are okay where we are, getting to help people get where they want to go." And she had no recognition of the harm she just spewed? I don't get them, yo.

Ango regresses involuntarily. Usually when he is stressed because of work, or when he seems very sad or stressed and Oda brings the suggestion.

Something that always helps Ango in these situations is to make him differentiate between “adult things” and “baby things”, don't let him continue this day of work and work, adult things. He's baby.

a caregiver that would never want her regressor to feel abandoned. she'd make it extremely clear that if the situation were ever too dangerous that she'd leave you in the care of someone she deeply trusts but would immediately return to you once she knows you both are safe.

however, she is an extremely headstrong caregiver, she wouldn't give you the time to argue before she's off to find a way to spoil/protect her kiddo(s). once she had made up her mind it would be extremely difficult to break her out of the thought.

it would also be very hard to convince her to bring you into situations where danger is present. she would rather throw herself in front of a speeding freighter than to consider putting you in harms way.

rey forgets that she's talking to a person with a younger mindset and will either ramble on about the complexities of a ship's engine to a wordless audience or entirely too blunt in her tone for a sensitive regressor.

she loves to playfully argue. to her its a battle of wits as though she were back home trying to talk her way out of a situation and she can't help but want to win. in turn the crew would sigh at the addition of another sharp-tongued little rebel.

rey would naturally be very sensitive and wary of her surroundings due to her upbringing on jakku. she could be reading a book silently in one moment then immediately dropping everything in another to check on you at the slightest indication of danger.

that doesn't mean she wouldn't encourage letting her kiddo branch out creativily, rey would always have something to keep her kiddo's hands busy and out of trouble.

i'd like to believe that she'd prefer a home bustling with laughter and life alongside the occasional mess than a sterile and silent environment; she had spent far too many nights alone in a deserted wasteland and the silence can be defeaning.

loves kiddos that have a passion for learning / discovering new things.

her methods of teaching would be informal, having her kiddos learn by experience and helping to build their understanding of the world from personal findings.

even if a problem were too difficult to solve alone, she would support you regardless of the outcome (especially if she knew how much it meant admitting that you needed help in the first place).

there's nothing that would make her happier than to see her regressor's wide eyed expressions to the beauty of the world around them- from the awe of lifting their toys by the force or their relief in finally solving a problem themself you could often catch a glimpse of her beaming at you with an unmistakable pride.

is extremely blunt. and impatient. but an extremely generous and optimistic little one.

despite being of a younger mindset she'd still be able to tell you if you were doing something wrong to a device/vehicle. (ex. sitting in a cockpit with you while you show her the different tools to fix something below while she shakes her head or repeats a simple "yes/no.")

a tinkerer at heart! there's always something in her hand to fidget with or scraps that she could fix/create into something entirely new. she'd be the greatest little sidekick at holding or helping with simple tasks.

loves to learn more about the galaxy around her, and will never tire of learning about what it means to be a jedi.

regressed or not she loves to play! it won't take much to get her into the spirit of adventure, just the scraps around her could keep her entertained for hours.

absolutely adores any verbal praise given by a caregiving figure, she would sit stewing in her accomplishments that she'd replay in her head for the rest of the day.

extremely stubborn if things aren't done her way, oftentimes fixating on something for hours/days until its done the way she wants it done.

though not extremely physically affectionate she would like to remain physically close to those she cares about. there's always a small part of her that worries she'll end up alone again.

if left unsupervised be prepared for the consequences. (/lh /silly) you may return to a little rey with scrapes and bruises from practicing tricks with her staff or the home in dissaray from her attempts at "honing her jedi skills".

Is there a way to tell if it's safe to tell someone you agere?

I really wish I could tell my friend I agere to explain why I can't respond to things sometimes, but I:

1: Don't know if they know what agere is

2: Don't want to feel like I'm implying they take care of me/don't want to feel like I'm pushing anything on them

3: scared that they might react poorly (I have no rational reason to assume this, they're the most amazing friend ever, and our friendship thrives off how understanding we are of eachother but I'd hate to be wrong)

Is there a correct time to bring it up? A certain way I do it?

ꔫTelling Others You Regress Pt. 2

ꔫThere's no way to 100% know for sure, unless they bring it up somehow (i.e. them asking if you do or them bringing up that another friend does)! ꔫI'm actually going to start with your third bullet and work backwards! It sounds like you don't have any reason to worry at all, although I understand why you may be anxious. A good way to gauge their feelings on the topic would be by talking about "childish" things around them and seeing their reaction. (ex. "I want to get a new stuffed animal, what do you think about this one?" "I miss playing with this toy as a kid it was so fun!") Given that they don't react harshly to things like this, I don't see a reason they may react "poorly"! ꔫFor the "Implying they take care of me/pushing anything on them", that's actually really simple! You would just have to let them know that! A very basic way of clearing this up would be by saying "I don't expect you to take care of me, or even interact with me, while I'm regressed; I just wanted to tell you."

ꔫIf they don't know what agere is, but you trust that they won't react poorly, the best thing to do is explain it while you are in a big and calm mental state! When I told my partner, whom I did not meet in the community and had no reason to believe would know about it, he actually informed me that he had done a school project on it in the past -- that made it a lot easier for him to understand! I opened by asking him if he had ever heard of it. My best suggestions are:

Send a post/article/etc. detailing what agere is, then explaining further if there was any things about your experience that differ from it! Or

Come up with your best explanation, so it feels more personal! (Even a simple one like "sometimes I, mentally, am more of a child than my age and I like to watch cartoons, color, etc. like we did as kids).

A combination of the two also works!

ꔫIn regards to the time and way to do that, that's more individual -- depending on you two and the relationship you have! However, I'd say that some general things to keep in mind are:

both of you being in a good mental state

no threat of you regressing in the middle of the conversation

letting them know you need to talk about something serious/important to you

ꔫWhether this is delivered in a text, call, etc. is completely up to you!

Thank you, and I can try to give you some:

- don't just rely on requests, make boards for yourself as well ! I personally have an ongoing list of ideas to make when I have time !

- credit sources and show that you appreciate the work of others ! People like me who don't make gifs but literally run blogs off of using them should give credit to those who do put in the work, linking back to sources and giving credit goes a long way !

My Testimony

It's been almost a year - a year since I've celebrated my recommitment to Christ.

A long road ahead of me still, but the past is dead and gone. I would never invalidate anyone else's spiritual encounters, but here is my story.

In just one year... I went from the New Age to Christ, and you can see it in my artistic expressions.

I am so much more at peace than I have ever been or felt in all my life, all because I cut ties with the enemy's hold over my life.. through witchcraft, tarot, psychics, etc.

I was never afraid of it but it did change my personality considerably as soon as I cut ties ... I became more peaceful, loving, and centered on God. More naturally confident and less jealous. More content with my circumstances.

My goal is not to "offend" or to invalidate anyone's personal experiences, but to offer what I believe is the Truth of the Living God.

Witchcraft made my life foggy, although it appeared to be vivid and complete. Just like I drew in the first picture. It made me feel dead inside and in control of everything.

But God showed me how beautiful His truth, His light, and His life are. And I'd never turn back or have it any other way.

No matter what, know that you are loved, no matter where you are at with God and spirituality. God loves you eternally and He only wants what is best for each of His children.

He would never force a relationship with any of us. But He would welcome you with open arms if that is what you wanted. His love is never changing, and He yearns to be in a relationship with you through the sacrifice of HIs Son Jesus Christ. To free you from bondage.

His mercies are new every morning.

I don't claim to have it all together or to be perfect, to know everything about God. But I do know that He loves you no matter what you believe or don't believe and is making a way even when the enemy seeks to destroy everything that we have.

Including our souls, which is what he wants the most of all.

I am not here to change anyone; only the Holy Spirit can do that. But I am here to pray for and to love you all. Keep the faith.

I am an ex New Ager.

I am an ex-new ager. I practiced witchcraft. I worshiped false idols. I practiced divination and fortune telling.

I am here to tell you. Jesus is the ONLY way.

All of the New Age “white light” it can’t hurt you good vibes only…it is all of Satan and his Kingdom of Darkness

He wants you to believe that if you’re communing with “spirit guides” and “ancestors” that you are reaching a “higher self” when in reality it’s all a ploy to pull you away from the One True King and deceive you.

Tarot and crystals open you up to illegal contact and contracts with demons and monsters. Meditation and manifestation are incantations and Lucifarian.

Practicing this evil drains you keeps you “self serving” Satan makes you believe you can be your own god and that Heaven and Hell aren’t real.

You cannot believe the false claims that you can do both. You cannot be a Christian and be a witch. It goes against Scripture.

Incense, Yoga, Reikei…all of it opens doors to dance with evil.

I heard the things go bump in the night. I saw the shadow people in the corners of my eyes. I feared the dark even though I had invited it in.

I had kept all of my new age things in a box in the closet until recently. Yesterday I threw that whole box in a cedar brush fire. I rid myself of that evil. And when I did, Satan wasn’t happy.

Sure he didn’t mind if I kept it. Because the temptation would remain to go back to it.

After I got rid of it…he attacked my husband, letting him fall sick. My husband ran a 104 fever for TWO days while I prayed the Lords Prayer over him warding off this spiritual attack.

If you are thinking Satan can’t get you. I’m here to tell you he can. Jesus will save you.

Satan uses new age and it’s popularity right now to steal souls from Jesus. Demons are speaking through tarot, new age “healing”, psychics, fortune telling and so much more.

I am so thankful for the love of my Savior.

He left the 99 for me. He saved me! He convicted me and pulled me from my depression and anxiety. He destroyed my reliance on darkness. He showed me the TRUTH.
