I've never drawn or rendered a menacing looking Sephiroth before 😳 This is taking a darker turn than I planned 🙈
🦊 I've always wanted a doll.
🐰 Then go get one!
🦊 Why would I when this one has such a cute face? Look at your nose twitching, my little rabbit.

I was thinking about my notorious disrespect for the yandere trope, which is weird because I have written yandere audios before (as a script writer on behalf of other VAs) and enjoyed writing them. Sometimes I'm just like "ok do I hate this trope in audios or not".
And I think I realized that I just hated how watered-down it was by people who fundamentally misunderstand the point of that trope. It was really, really popular in the early 2020s, so tons of people jumped on it as a trend but fucked it up. Audios are usually based around romance to some degree, especially one-shot boyfriend/girlfriend ASMR roleplay, which kind of conflicts with the point of the yandere.
One problem is that yandere is a character trope, not a genre, but it gets treated like a genre and therefore has no direction for plot. The other problem is that the yandere is not *supposed* to be appealing, I see the appeal of wanting to imagine yourself desired by someone so obsessed that they'd do horrible things to have you, but that appeal is supposed to be IN SPITE of the mega-creepiness at the surface. Yandere is not a romance trope, it's a horror trope, and writing them as romantic love interests will clash with writing them as yanderes.
Some people who like the trope will say "oh well my yanderes are softer" or "my yanderes aren't toxic". My liege, the toxicity is what makes them yanderes. When you try to make them sympathetic, soft, or non-toxic you hollow them out into a husk. You didn't improve the trope by making them good people, they're supposed to be fundamentally frightening and immoral.
I see a lot of eagerness among VAs/writers to use bad guy tropes (ex: mafia bosses, monsters, supervillains, delinquents, etc) but a lot of hesitancy to actually make them bad. The mafia bosses actually have a code of honor and won't victimize innocent people, the monsters behave indistinguishably from regular people, the villains and delinquents are just misunderstood well-meaning people. It's actually so whack.
Let them be bad, I promise you, it won't damage their appeal. People salivate over pure fucking evil fictional bad guys all the time. The listeners who pick your video hoping for monsters, yandere freaks, and villainy are there for it, otherwise they wouldn't have chosen to watch it. Don't worry about making them non toxic. This is all fiction, there's tons of stuff that would ve horrifying and wrong in real life that is appealing and fun in fiction.
Anyway, I'm hoping for a classic yandere comeback one day where they are just god damn terrible people with no regard for being non-toxic soft yandere bullshit characters.

Coriolanus Snow-
Nature vs nurture?
First things first: I am not in any way suggesting, that Snow did not become a truly despicable person later on.
I am not here to defend the horrible crimes he committed in the years after tbosas.
But there is something annoying me to no end(,again) concerning tbosas:
People are out here saying Coriolanus Snow (,in the book,) was a horrible person from the beginning.
Calling him a psychopath and so on.
Saying he was born evil and we should all read the book to understand how twisted he was from the beginning.
As if Snow was born evil, as if teenage Snow already was beyond saving.
I do not agree with that sentiment.
Like, yeah teenage Snow was manipulative.
His inner thoughts often weren‘t kind but cruel.
But there were instances in which he genuinly felt guilt, remorse and other emotions.
He is capable of those.
He is a narcissist, and he does exploit people. But he is not evil.
Not yet at least.
You know what i see reading his(,young Snows,) thoughts?
I see a survivor.
I see someone who was severly traumatized during a war. Who was abused and neglected.
I see someone who had to adapt to an unforgiving society in oder to survive.
As a survivor myself i understand.
I don‘t see someone who was born evil. I see someone who was numbed by his trauma.
Not every survivor turns into someone kind- some of us are so damaged, that we just become cold.
But cold doesn‘t equal evil.
I don‘t think Coryo was born evil. A monster.
That is what the world made him.
And again: I am not defending the crimes he committed later on.
„Do monsters make war? Or does war make monsters?“- Laini Taylor.
Thank you for reading. Have a blessed day.)

Rituals under the Moonlight
An elf druid who is a native of the island. They were one of the island priests as they prayed to their god but also healed their people. They helped the people not wanting any bad juju to fall upon the island. They made a sacrifice of their own every full moon to their god before turning into their home. Those rituals and offerings were not shared with the island's public though they had let it slip to their elder sister one night that they had some deep involvement and bond with the god. A water god with large fangs and sharp claws. He has black eyes. His bottom half is that of an eel while his upper half is human. He has gray skin, webbed hands, and black hair.
Bahari (Deep Sea God) found Hyacinth to be a very interesting human. They had given their mind, body, and blood to him all under the cloak of night inside his temple. The elf truly knew no bounds in what they would give to Bahari. And the god found it to be quite amusing.
The marble floors of the temple were unusually warm for a night like this. The temple was dark and empty, and the only light came from a small candle placed next to the statue. Hyacinth was sitting in front of Bahari's statue, holding their bloody hands out in front of them, praying alone in the temple of the god, Bahari. As they muttered their prayers and pleas, they felt the temple start to fill with water, and before they knew it, they were soon overwhelmed by it. The water was ice-cold, and for a moment, they felt like they were going to drown due to how quickly the area had flooded. However, Hyacinth remained calm, knowing that Bahari would not let them die. They couldn't stop the water from entering their lungs, but they hissed at the cold seawater against their cut hands, as their blood mixed with the water. As two large hands took the elf closer to Bahari's face, the god of the deep sea, Hyacinth coughed up any excess water in their lungs. Breathless and with pink hair sticking to their face and clothes, Hyacinth looked up at Bahari, who said, "If it isn't my little priest, back for more I presume?" Bahari moved the hair from their face with one of his claws and cleared his throat. "Would I look that desperate in your eyes if that were the case?" Hyacinth asked, looking up at Bahari through their lashes.

protip for writers, as long as your evil character
(1) is obviously enjoying themselves
(2) occasionally shows fondness for a character the audience is likely to project themselves onto
they can do any goddamn thing they want and never do anything redeeming and the audience will still love them and look forward to the next scene they're in
