Back to my htf obsession and made my own au

Vigilante au: Basic summary (copy pasted from my Reddit)

-Focuses on Splendid, used to be famous super hero in space, landing onto Earth after escaping the people who captured and drained him of all his powers. In his fear induced state, Splendid terrorizes the city he crashed onto in an act of defense. Able to be approached by The Mole (though goes by Sir Mole) who managed to gain the flying squirrel’s trust with freeing his restraints. Even if he’s met with a few bite marks and hostility.

-Sir Mole offers the feral alien shelter in his home where Splendid could start anew. Becoming the city’s new hero, now forcing to adapt due to the lack of super powers with the help of the former retired spy while balancing his life as a citizen working as a journalist in the daily acorn.

I might make this into a comic series who knows if I have the time or motivation. I have designed the other characters too but i dunno when I’ll post them. Also Splendid x Mole heh.

htf and how a date they planned with their s/o would be?

(I'm here for one character <3)

cuddles: 100%, without a doubt, this is going to be an amusement park date. he spends most of the date trying to win stuffed animals from the games for his s/o, to varying degrees of success.

giggles: she's partial to the classic "dinner and a movie" date. she intentionally picks a horror movie so she can pretend to be scared and cling to her date's arm

toothy: he plans a picnic! he makes all the food himself, and the food is extra tasty because he made it with love :]

petunia: takes her s/o on a spa date! and i mean like a full, every luxury you can imagine spa trip

handy: his idea of a date is a lowkey night in where he treats his partner like royalty

nutty: he's an arcade guy! he's almost frighteningly good at getting tickets, and he spends at least half of them on prizes for his s/o

sniffles: stargazing date!! he brings a telescope and helps his partner find all the different planets and constellations

pop: bowling date :] he absolutely shreds at it and wins the whole time, but he's very sportsmanlike about it, and it honestly comes off as endearing

flaky: a movie night at home will do for them. something quiet where they don't have to worry about anything

mole: he's also a classic candlelit dinner type of guy. somewhere nice and classy, but not so fancy as to be stressful.

disco bear: he takes his partner out for a night on the town! he makes sure to hit the best dance spots in the area

russell: also a stargazer, but he brings his date out on the open water far from all the light pollution

lifty: he brings his partner out to spray paint buildings at night with him! they might have to run from the cops, but he'll make sure they don't get arrested. ends the night up on the roof of a building they had to trespass to get to. it's all pretty illegal, but it's fun nonetheless

shifty: he drives the van out to the nearest cliffsides so him and his date can watch the sunset with a good view :]

mime: another fan of amusement parks! similar to cuddles, he spends a lot of time trying to win prizes for his date, but he's WAY better at it

flippy: also big on picnics!! the food he packs leans sweet and sugary, a lot of comfort foods

lammy: a nice walk through the park would be the best bet for her!

splendid: you can't convince me that he doesn't do the classic superman "fly his love interest through the city" move. no doubt in my mind!

splendont: takes his partner up to somewhere way higher than practical for a regular person to reach, just to appreciate the view

Random HTF Headcanon #2: Rat.

The Rat's real name is Bill Dylan-Octavian.

He was born in June 6th 1985 in Harlem, NYC to Haitian parents. He also has a mixed-race cousin, Louis Nelivenue-Octavian (aka Mouse-Kaboom).

He was originally a member of an early 2000s trap group, Roll-Krunch since he was in his late-teens. He then left Roll-Krunch to pursue his solo career as well as his acting career. This was when he was casted in a HTF Spin-off, Ka-Pow Shorts, but specifically, Mole In The City in 2008. After that, he went back into his rap career.

this is almost certainly a monumentally stupid question but how would one "get into" htf

(assuming it goes without saying that it is a SHOCK HORROR COMEDY GOREFEST! ik most of the art i make for it is fairly tame but its BRUTAL) honestly? id recommend starting from episode 1, spin fun knowin ya! theres no official playlist of them all in order on mondos channel (sowwy) but if you start at the beginning the next ep should be recommended and so on, or you could just look up the ep list

after that, the special eps and kapow shorts! theyre verrrrry silly and fun, my fave is (shocker) mole in the city! there are also a bunch of comics that are SUUUPER CUTE and arent too hard to find! theyre all on the wiki anyway. but if you want to start with MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE EPISODES rn (not in any particular order):

house warming, dont yank my chain, sight for sore eyes, see what develops, wishy washy, handy nanny, meat me for lunch, spare me, eyes cold lemonade (along with eye candy you. have probably seen Something from this ep. theyre arguably the most (in)famous eps in the entire series), out of sight out of mime, class act, the way you make me wheel, shard at work, icy you, blind date. concrete solution, home is where the hurt is, in a jam, i nub you, a bit of a pickle, the chokes on you, brake the cycle, no time like the present, buns of steal, spare tire

Honestly, the only way i see an htf movie working it would be if they did some sort of anthology featuring the concepts showcased in the ka-pow spinoff (WAR journal, Splendid's Supersquad, Mole in The City, Buddhist Monkey) rather than trying to make a 1 hour episode

oh i like this request a lot

sniffles- this might be surprising but i think he would genuinely be lovely to lay with. sharing a moment together while he quietly talks about something he's working on or researching or just finds interesting.

toothy- he'd be pretty good at making any silence seem very comfortable and companionable. you'd never feel like you Have to say anything if you don't want to.

russell- this guy has the BEST stories to tell the whole time, i just know it.

pop- this would be nice for you and him, i think. he would tell stories about the latest antics cub was getting up to. you'd probably have to stop him from getting up to go grab his photo album tbh, it would be cute.

flippy- i think he would enjoy this a lot. a quiet moment where the two of you can just enjoy each others company.

giggles- she strikes me as a very strong active personality, but if you could convince her to slow down for a bit to do this i think it would be pleasant.

splendid- he would absolutely love this, and would do everything in his power to make sure you did too. if you're not careful he'll over indulge and probably skip out on saving the city or something.

cuddles- based on the everything about him, you would think he would hate this, but shockingly, i think he'd enjoy a chance to just kick back and relax with you. i think you'd get an unexpectedly contemplative conversation out of him.

handy- he would bitch tremendously at first and not see the point, but if you managed to get him to give it an honest chance, i think he'd start to enjoy it, and once he came around to the idea he'd make sure you were enjoying it too.

mole- he's not much of a talker, so it would be a very quiet bout of laying around, but in a friendly way.

petunia- it would be pretty difficult to convince her to actually do this. she strikes me as the type who needs to be doing Something more often than not, and that would definitely sour the vibe a bit.

lammy- similar to petunia, but not to the same extent. it'd be pretty nice, but i think you'd be able to tell she'd rather be doing something else.

flaky- i don't think they'd be able to get out of their own head enough to enjoy this, and it would definitely show.

lifty and shifty- these two are similar in their love for loafing about, i think. they would definitely tell the most alarming stories the whole time like it was nothing, though.

mime- for someone who doesn't speak, he makes a fair bit of noise. another one of the restless ones, but nice if you get him to settle down.

disco bear- another one where he wouldn't see the point, but once you got him to try it, he'd enjoy it. he'd never admit to it though.

nutty- he is not built for this i'm so sorry. he'd make it all of two minutes before he was up doing something else.

splendont- he also could not be convinced to do this for long. he's restless more than any of the others.

quick pkmn region htf thing

mole wouldve been born in maybe unova, but probably went to kanto since hes basically a spy and the entire team rocket thing. saying that hes born in unova because of castelia city, and mole in the city takes place... in a city... so its vry obvious. hed have a gardevoir but its more like a service pokemon, since gardevoirs are like.... fond of their trainers right? not in a weird way though LOL he probably also has a excadrill because why not. also like unova is america so moles an american. hope that helps

mime and lammy come from kalos but their lives were probably different enough. mime came from a rich family while lammy is more of middle class. mime thinks hes better bc he got a rarer pokemon while lammy is fine with her mareep and a banette she adopted and banette actually warmed up to her. lammy isnt a pokemon trainer though and just makes clothes in her past time. people kind of associate mime and lammy with french stuff so i felt kalos was fitting LOL

cuddles giggles and toothy are all from kanto but giggles probably went to kalos once bc of outfits and clothing maybe...? but they were all from kanto bc kantos basicish and those three are also basic. sorry

russells from hoenn because hoenns like associated with water right...i think hed really like kyogre since hes a pirate and everything. speaking of which i feel like dhelmise maybe shouldve been a hoenn mon but IDK its gen 3.

sniffles lives in alola and hates tourists. hes pretty much a scientist so hes only around other places to research everything, especially ultra beasts
