OH GOD!!!!!!!!!! mochi and limes are harder to pin down.....i will try to speculate how i see it right now:

mochi @ lime: happened when they were younger, middle school maybe? up until that point her and lime would occasionally talk and were forced to walk home together, but were nowhere NEAR best friends. at some point mochi started getting bullied since she was so weird and quiet, lime stood up for her and got into a physical fight with the other kid. anyway afterwards, after they both got sent home my the principal, mochi was like "maybe he isnt so bad?" and the crush developed and RAPIDLY grew since after this they actually became friends for real

lime @ mochi: THIS ONE IS HARDER TO PIN DOWN!!!! theres no single moment, its a BUNCH of "yeah shes cute but i dont like her." "yeah shes nice and cool but i dont like her." "yeah i mean if she wanted to kiss we could i guess but i dont like her." over years and years slowly descending into madness,,,,.....the thing that started tipping him over the edge is RIGHT before the witch thing started, theres a night where she was staying with his family (in the webtoon, its right where we left off), and fell asleep with him where thats the first time he stayed and cuddled with her for the night. it started as "yeah yeah comfort mochi while shes crying and sad" but they both fell asleep, and when lime wakes up in the middle of the night to mochi snuggling into him he CAVES!!!!!! his whole mindset, within the span of like 10 minutes, starts shifting to "maybe mochi as a girlfriend isnt a bad idea.............................". in the morning he tries to rationalize himself out of it with "no way, im just touch starved. no way, i just need a girlfriend and would feel like this for any girl. no way, if i was gonna like her at all i wouldve liked her by now" and from then on its a constant battle of "god DAMN i want her bad" and "FUCK no shes my best friend, the fuck?!"

taffy @ coco: this moment happens relatively fast. basically, theres a period of a day or two while she is currently kidnapped by taffy who is trying to lure mochi out, but he has no intentions of hurting her or anything else beyond holding her there until mochi arrives. at some point he hurts himself (humerously) like fucking cuts his arm by accident on something and its PROFUSELY bleeding and he sees nothing wrong with that, probably says something like "Its just blood." coco, who is absolutely about to vomit, rips a sleeve off her jacket and wraps his arm with it and taffy is instantaneously confused, shocked, and emotionally attached. this man does not experience kindness regularly. any time after this when he runs into her at random times he is NERVOUS. (he hold onto that ripped sleeve for like. forever. after he joins the guild coco is like "why do you still have that?!! did you at least get the blood out?????" and hes just silently protectively sentimental about it)

coco @ taffy: for coco, there is ALSO not a single moment, its a slow and growing process of learning who he is and what he is and how she can help him. its probably one of those things where you spend so much time with someone you care about so much emotionally, and then one day (during the timeskip when theyre living together, he just comes back from his day job and walks in the door and coco realizes shes in love with him (this is long after she already knows he loves her like crazy)

i honestly feel like giyuu is more insecure than even he acknowledges, and whenever you call him pretty or compliment him in general he truly takes it to heart, and over time he ever so slowly begins to like himself more<3

Giyuu blinks, and a pretty pink flushes the tips of his ears and cheeks. "You.. really think so?" His voice is soft, yet he forces himself to maintain eye contact with you. Now its your turn to blush. "Of course I do! Giyuu, your the prettiest person I know!" Giyuu swears his heart skips a beat, and a rare smile forms on his face. "I... thank you. I think you are very pretty as well." You cant stop the smile that blooms on your face, and you rush to practically tackle Giyuu in a hug.

Tengen

notes: This is literally such a sweet request and I love this dynamic so much <33. I just know that Capitano would love someone the opposite of him!! I hope you like this!

You are his beautiful, perfect little maiden. Really, Capitano does not know how he got so lucky to have met someone as peaceful and soothing as you. And for you to fully reciprocate his feelings? To wholly love this monster, when he takes lives and you save them instead? He feels almost guilty but can’t give you up. And when you show him your magnificent ability, this feeling amplifies a lot more. He’s never cared much for weak people, but you’ve opened up his eyes some more to the abilities of others. You may not fight, but your songs lift the spirits, both physically and mentally, of the wounded soldiers and increase morale. Everyone quite literally loves you (cue Capitano in the back, jealous of the attention the rest of the soldiers are getting.) He’s a silent person by nature, so he never ever interrupts your singing. Shows his displeasure quietly if anyone else were to do so.

There’s only so much bandages and medicinal salves can do to treat wounds. You have to let time pass to fully recover. But nope, not anymore. Even if he gets the tiniest scratch, you’re running to him to you can sing the wound away. (Just think of Capitano trying to tend to the flowers like you do and ends up getting pricked by a thorn. Begins to do it on purpose so he can hear your songs more often. Honestly, he thinks it’s adorable how he’s so much more bigger and stronger than you, yet you get worried about him over anything.) He loathes to leave you alone, but duty calls of course. But something cute I think, is that you’d sing a song and record it on a Radiant Spincrystal so he could listen to it when he’s out fighting. (Don’t ask me how that would work. It just works because I said so!) So now every day after a battle, the whole camp can hear your singing voice coming from Capitano’s tent. No one says a word about how all of them can hear it, they enjoy it too after all and no one has the heart or guts to report this to their Lord Harbinger. Your singing really calms him down - if he’s having a rough day away from you he just plays the spin crystal and it relaxes him a lot. Tends to think about what kind of souvenir or trinket he should get you this time after he wins this war. Another thing - he likes to write down things about the scenery, people, animals, etc about the nation/area he’s visiting, so that you can use it as inspiration for your songs. Secretly feels really happy when you come up with something based on his notes.

But of course, nothing is better than the real thing in person. This is why you always make sure to sit by the window every day when your lover is supposed to be returning soon. To greet him with a welcome home melody! And boy, is he ever so internally excited for this every time. Everyone else sees his stiff, upright emotionless posture, but he’s literally beaming internally that he finally gets to hold you again, hear your lovely chirpy voice, feel your gentle caresses… a battle worn and torn warrior in love with his tender and soft healer at its finest. (It’s also amusing to think about the maids and butlers just standing there silently while you're draped over your lover singing a sweet tune to him. Capitano has learned to deal with it.) 

The best part is when you urge him into your private quarters and badger him to take off all his heavy armor and clothing so you could heal him already. It’s always a mesmerizing process actually - the big, fluffy coat goes first and drops to the floor, then the multiple armor pieces he wears on different parts of his body. Finally comes the regular clothing that is quickly thrown off. Sometimes the wounds are small and infrequent, or they’re big. (Well, for the sake of the story let’s say that… who is wounding such a high ranking Harbinger lol.) And then you get to work, pressing your hands gently against the wounded areas and beginning to sing. You’ve memorized which songs he likes the best of course. The first few times you did this Capitano fell asleep sitting up and you were literally trapped in his lap. Now you make him lie down before you heal. And while Capitano has some… thoughts about your ability to make him doze off some quickly, he grows to not mind it. At first, he was cautious of it. He has concerns about appearing vulnerable in front of anyone, even you. He’s just not used to it. But he begins to wake up feeling more rested than usual. Of course, your healing made him feel better physically but these naps after hearing your singing just made him feel better. And he got to wake up to you clinging to his arm. You described this as him feeling “peaceful” since his body and mind were free of tension from your singing. He grows to look forward to injuries now…

Capitano also gets frequently worried about the state of your throat (he’s protective over you by a WHOLE LOT.) You’ve been singing for too long and your throat is getting all scratchy and hoarse? Too bad for the other soldiers - he’s escorting you to your shared bedroom so you can get some rest. The kind of lover who would actually hold the glass of water and tilt your head back so you can drink it. You are not lifting a finger after your performances. (Thankfully they have big cups that are big enough for his hands hehe.) And if there’s specific food you want to eat for your throat? You’re going to have it, no matter what. And if you ever lost your voice for a few days?! He would genuinely be so sad and make you stay in bed all day. I know he’d keep all of the notes you wrote down to communicate with him though. Haha, it’s very cute to imagine that Capitano is standing there, watching the recruits train menacingly, while you’re there on standby in case of any injuries, radiating sunshine. Everyone is used to you two strolling down the hallways, hand in hand, your singing filling the empty and desolate space while Capitano dutifully marches behind you. Quite an unusual pair, but a very good one.

This is kind of an joke post (KIND OF) so dont take it to seriously. Its just my brain comming up with ridiculous ideas, so feel free to ignore me.

So you know, even long before the latest released chapter I always wondered as a dfo fan why afo married inko, because even if you consider some of the more popular conspiracy theories like the inko shimura or quirk marriage theory, afo NEVER had to MARRY her in the end. So why did he do it?

And after the latest chapter I think I finally got my answer: Dude lowkey hadnt realized that he had fallen in love. 🤣

Okay hear me out. The latest chapter confirmed that afo has no context or grasp what (selfless) love is, because he never experienced it himself. No parents, other guardians or friends to show him what love is or people in generell who showed and teached him kindness. Only a little weakly brother he felt a connection with he didnt fully understand and refused to let go since he was the only "possession" he had. Afo is unable to see the difference between (selfless) love and possession. Its not really something you can blame him for, thanks to the horrible enviroment he had to grow up in. To him possessing something means "love". He wants everyone to live for his sake just like yoichi. In other words he wants to feel loved and wants to love. But since he doesnt understand the difference between love and possession it seems so fucked up to us while for him it is normal.

Now back to inko. I have no idea how they could have meet. Maybe afo had his reasons to lay his eyes on her or maybe it was just a simple coincidence. No matter what it was, I like to believe that inko was not only the first person who showed afo kindness and support without the wish to gain something from him in return (like most of his followers do), but also was the first person who showed him what love (NOT possession) actually feels like.

It could be something incredible simple like touching his hand or his cheek in a caring/loving way and since nobody ever did that (if we consider his jealous reaction when he sees kudou and yoichi "holding hands" which I bet the brothers never did even as children) he would be so confused and wondering why that felt so nice and wants more of it. So he starts to obsess over her, because he enjoyed how she made him feel good (while still not getting what it actually is because he is just a mess 😅). They start to spend more time together while afo tries to find out what kind of miracle she is, what that strange feeling is when he is close to her, why his stomach feels funny and why he starts babbling nonsense every time she tries to hold smalltalk with him. 😆😆😆

So then imagine at one point afo does something kind to her in return (because he is slowly learning from her) and inko gives him a little kiss on the cheek and he is all like: WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPEND??? WHAT DID SHE DO??? WHAT WAS THAT??? IS THAT SOMETHING PEOPLE DO??? WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW??? AND WHY DID THAT FEEL SO GOOD??? SHOULD I SAY THANK YOU??? WHY DO I WANT MORE OF IT??? I WASNT PREPARED FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!!End result: brain.exe stopped working.

Afterwards he visits dr garaki and rants about all this strange feelings he has recently and believes he is actually sick and garaki is like: dude.... youre just in love and afo reacts like: OOOHHHHH............ and now? So after garaki explains to him VERY cautious that normally two people who are in love with each other would start to live together, marry, get children and always be there for each other afo IMMEDIATELY responses with: I WANT THAT!!! and runs back to inko to propose to her "You will marry me!" (No nos and no buts!)

I stood there as steve got his last good wishes from his team mates. I stood back watching tears in my eyes. I knew he only had a certain amount and im thinking back to the cinversariin we had after it was decided hed be the onky to return them

"Why do I feel like theres a but comming"

"There is" he took my hands, "sweeetheart even tho hank pym is back theres still that adjustment period everyone is going through and he csnt make more pym particles right now"

"Cant you wait? Time will always be there for you to return it?"

He took my palm, like he does when he's  nervous and subconsciouslybdraws the same patterns he always does when he looked down.

"Yes and no. You see the way that Strange explained it is that time will continue on  and yes and while we can wait the stones not being there is affecting us here and now as in the past they arent there.  I could wait but if simething happens," he swollows hard, "something to you. I cant lose you."

"Steve nothing is going to ha-"

"You dont know that!" Hw yells and i jumo back almsot in tears.

"Im sorry, I'm sorry I didnt mean to "

"Strange said something didnt he?"

Steve looked uo with tears in his eyes and nodded. 

"It doesn't mean it will but i can't bear the thought"

"And I can't live without"

"Neither can I, if Tony was here..."

"I know" I sob a bit  as he pulls me intk his chest and cries too "if tony easnt gone id kill him all iver again."

This garners a chuckle from Steve.

"She's your last stop isnt she?"

I looked up i could only see the side if his cheek really but it was like i could see him go pale.

Not for the reasons yoy think. When insaw in the care facility, i mean yiu saw her every time she didnt remeber me and she eas so ha-

"I know happy and thrilled and saying shes worry you didnt get to live a full happy life."

It hurt me too it was so sad seeing her, I mean seing anyone like that would be saddening. 

"I just want to tell her im ok and that I survived so she doesnt have those regrets and that...."

I pulled back a little and I whipesmone side of tears from my face and he whipped the other putting his hand on my chin and guiding it making sure I can't move away as he knows how scared and fearful i must me and he looked in my eyes .

"That l, I found the love of my life and I am so happy."

I let out a small chuckle with some tears.

"You know that right? That i love you. I love ypu more than anything. And ill always come back to you. Like a bad oenny you cant losemor that cat that never stopped following yoy home,"

On cue Midnight jumoed into our laps with a meow and using her head to burrow under steves tee for warmth like she always did garnering a laugh from both of us. I pulled away a but as steve took iut of hisnshirt and talked to her 

"Youll take care off mommy right?" 

"Take care of me why woukd she need to-" I statted bawling

"Oh honey no no no i didnt mean it oh no " he put Mid night down and grabbed me chuck and tight, so tiggt i almost coukdnt breathe. "Wrong words blvery wrong words. I meant if something haooened. Lets face it i don't have greay track records when it comes to saving the world. The first time i dissapeared for decades and I don't want that to happen my last time but im afraid of tha-"

"Last time?"

"Yea," he rubbed my arms comfortly "my last time, the world doesn need me not as much as you do. And i want to give thst life yoy want because i want it too. I see the longing in your eyes when yoy see a young couoke and a baby and i have the same in mine that wishing hoping dreaming. During these five years people havent needed me and ive been wnlanting to give it uo for a while now justtrying to figure out the best way to do it and yiu know ive been slowly limiting my cap duties."

I know,

I know yiu do. So after this i want to give you that. That family a real family a couoke of mini us's." He interlocked our fingers wispering "I hope to God they look like you".

I chuckled. "Once I return the stones uts you and me babe every day forever no interruptions. Ill be in that bed every day yoy wake uo and every night you go to sleep. Ill hold yiu hair back wvery morning sickness and yoy can try and break a finger or two or try to lift molojiner when youre giving birth."

That made me laugh

"Ill hadle the night and change every littke poopy diaper and we'll hold them together wheh they get thier shots and bad dreams. Ill help you kiss thier boo boos and scare away boyfriends"

Yiu betcha dolls and when they get marriednand have little ones of thier own ill hug them and then beat uo their husbands for doing thst my little girls "

I cracked up.

"I love you," he wispered and kissed my lips so very deep that i almost lost my brrath. And that was how that night went. Him showing his love he knew he didnt have to prove it but he did he heled me and kissed me anddid everything he wanted to so to make sure he felt like he knew i knew he loved me and more. That was how last night went too. The last night before this trip. A trio that i knew would be mear seconds for me for for him it could be years. 

Then he walked over to me, he had tears in his eyes. Hia other team mates offered to come to help only ateve, i bruce and hank pim knew that wasnt possible. 6 vials. He had 6 and that was all. I was praying of somethin did go grong that last jump hed be able to grab more particles and get back to me. I also knew about the contingency they set up the older face the extra shield, just in case. So many just in cases. It meant to be steves way of dissapearing so we could live aort of loke clint and tony away from the spotlight and danger. 

He hugged me again, wispering in my eqr Ill be back in seconds my love and i love you so much," i felt a tear fall from his face onto mine

"Itll be only minutes babe, 60 minutes the most and youll be back in my arms." I gave him reassurance

"I  hope it works out like that nur every monute ill be thinking about getting back to you,"

He hugged me tightly. "I love you. And those seconds that pass here i told bucky to not let go of your hand,"

I chuckled.

"I know you. You need a hand and he wont let go. But if you two kiss i will kill him"

I laughed what?

"I just wanted to see that smile before i go"

Get your ass back here and ill give yku something to smile about tonight.

Oh is that a threat 

"Oh no that promise," I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck and we looked into eachothers eyes and then he kissed me. 

"This ring isnt leaving this chain and this chain isnt leaving my body"

"I know" 

He took my hand as he walked up to the platform and I followed. He took his stance snd gave me one of the deepest longest kisses hes ever given me. 

"I love you dont forget im waiting right here no matter what you do to retrurn those im here loving you forever. "

"I know I promise ill come back no matrer what i love you too much." 

Steve gave me one last kiss on my lips and then a kiss behind me ear making me giggle 

"I needed to see and hear that one last time."

I felt bucky take my hand and lead me down the strairs steves and my eyes never leaving eachother's. He looked at me as he put the helmet on  and I squeezed Bucky's hand as Steve lifted his hand to presse rhe vutton and bucky squeezed mine as Steve dissapeared.

After 45 seconds my hand let go of Bucky's  but Bucky bevee ler go of mine.

Hey bub, i have another (😭) idea for you. So sorry, i have no clue how many you have from me at this stage. Pls dont feel pressured to write any of them; i just get an idea/story line in my head and send it to you after a few days of it stewing before it gives me a headache 😫

But anyway, the idea is: James and Lily have just started dating but shes starting to feel a little weird about your (Ravenclaw!reader) relationship with him. From her perspective youre always around him; are openly affectionate with him (but nothing over the top); make him little presents; spend holidays with him etc. but its not enough for her to think hes cheating, just to make her a little uncomfortable.

She asks the girls if maybe shes the weird one here and overthinking it but someone passing by butts in and says how youre the same with Sirius and its why he wouldnt date her (we know thats not why) but it makes Lily a little more uncomfortable so she decides to confront James.

So she does and hes just silently in shock because "what?!" But the longer he stays quiet the more embarrassed/anxious/irritated lily gets. Then you start giggling, coming in at the tail of the conversation unnoticed, and explain to Lily that youre James cousin but youve lived with your aunt & uncle most of your life so hes more of a brother (+Sirius since hes moved in). Then to lessen the tension you loosen your tie and show her the hickeys down your neck "plus im dating Remmy, and he doesnt share well." Cue the fake gagging from James and Sirius, Lilys giggles and Remus' gentle scolding before "and if anythings, James should be concerned. I might just steal you from right under his nose 😉" Cue James indignation, Sirius' cackling, Remus' chuckles and more of Lily's giggles.

This is another one I kept in my inbox for like over a month and just couldn't figure out how I'd write it (I totally know the headache feeling you mean too, there's some stuff I have to write before my brain explodes), but the public has to see!!! I lovelovelove how you portrayed Lily in this; I feel like there's too many jealous!Lily fics out there for my taste, because she seems like such a girl's girl! Like even though she's a bit insecure about reader and James' relationship, she's still going about it in the nicest and most careful way (like checking with other people before accusing James of anything and trying to be rational about it) and I just feel like that's SO her.

Q+A portion: I'm a purple gal! Very stereotpyical purple gal in that I don't think I actually have that many purple things but then some days I'll go outside and realize I've got on my purple sweater, purple socks, and purple little earbud case attatched to my tote. I totally get the earth tones thing though, I feel like they're so easy to pair together so most of my closet and decor is in earth tones too :)

random scene i kinda wanna write (wont now tho 😔✊)-- brought to you by [megumi gojo found family ness] being my favourite thing. and the fact that megumi has no idea how actually fucked up the events that lead to him getting a new "caretaker" were (its almost funny)

idk what tone id go for after that though. like maybe shoko finds him snooping and she decides '... i am not dealing with this' but still calmly tells him a *bit* more about it before telling him to go for a walk or sum pft

id keep it light i guess. and i dont think megumi would go talk with gojo at first cuz "feelings, ew, 'cringe'" , but something would shift between them (kinda awkwardly) and i think that would be enough for gojo to eventually up his "annoying tactic" game and he'd get megumi to give up and confess and then he would be like 'wow, nvm, i am not having this conversation' [<- gojo 🤝 shoko frl] "oh that! dw about it megugu 👍, haha!" and he would get all elusive with would fucking backfire because it would hit megumi like a truck that 'oh wow, gojo has done this for as long as ive known him'

also megumi probably had questions and unsure feelings about his dad "killing" gojo and doing whatever else is in the report, gojo killing his dad "back", and gojo ('after all of this ??') taking on the role of being his "dad's replacement" ; managing to make megumi's life so much livelier even if he didnt have to.

I wouldnt make them talk about all their feeling and blablabla, (not yet at least), but i would have megumi accept the information he got, surprised but okay with the knowledge that gojo too can be touched, be hit and get hurt (even though since he was young it always slipped his mind with ease. his benefactor was arrogant but he really did seem like "the strongest"), because that just makes him seem more real. (sure, he survived the unsurvivable; but he got hit first, he started somewhere just as everyone does.) He doesnt fully like it ofc, because it was always easier to believe that someone he cared about was invincible [protective megumi core] BUT it doesnt change the fact that gojo is still the pillar of strength he claims to be and that megumi has the luxury of caring for someone who can fend for himself in situations where most couldn't.

He takes what he learned as is, even if he doesnt know every detail, deciding that it doesnt change anything.

Another time, when theyre alone, Megumi takes the initiative to reply to gojo's typical shenanegans and ruffling of hair by giving him a stiff but very warm hug thats gladly returned with just as much love (and some more annoying hair ruffling)-- because thats all that really matters.

Your posts about SNW Spock makes me so curious, could you please explain how they've done him wrong since he seems very different from the original series :O Are they making him more human despite the SNW taking place before the og?

yeah i can! im not the best person to talk about it probably since im a pretty recent trek fan and also tos/spock arent parts of trek i care about as much as a lot of other fans, but i have opinions for sure!!

firstly just up front i do not like ethan peck as spock. he does not look like spock or act in a way i am satisfied with. it feels like the only reason they cast him was because he has a deep voice. so i am going forward in this with haterism for him specifically not JUST how he is written in snw

Spock is written not like a vulcan but like an anhedonic human. actually not even anhedonic, just like a human raised in vulcan society trying to blend in. like there is nothing about him that feels genuine he just feels like woobiebait for 2012 tumblr to make flower crown edits of because he is awkward and quirky. every scene involving spock is a joke about him and his demeanor, everything he says is a wink wink nudge nudge "lol vulcans act like this and its so stupid lol logic is silly" like i can physically feel a laugh track whenever hes on screen. i enjoy jokes about vulcans but it isnt funny when there isnt anything else. its like spock showing emotion, it isnt satisfying when its a constant and not a little treat peppered in. in snw hes stifling a giggle or screaming in pain or being oopsie awkward silly every time he gets a focal scene, it takes the magic away because now it isnt a rare break in character its just how he is. Ive seen a lot of people defend this aspect as him being young and therefore less mature than in tos, but hes like approaching 30 :\ i get him being less mature but he doesnt act like a sheltered 30 year old he acts like someone freshly 18. at this point its just like…MAKE A NEW CHARACTER!!!!

as a point of contrast, i like how uhura is written in snw (in season 1 anyways, she has barely appeared in s2) she is obviously younger and is growing into her spot on the crew, but they arent hinging her character on the 1 or 2 pop culture uhura moments, retconning anything about that that doesnt align with modern media fandom, and calling it a day; they actually expand on her character outside of like idk her doing a sexy dance and her sitting at the phone (though i guess it is easier for her since she had barely any character in tos anyways). meanwhile they DO do that with spock, his bullet point top 10 iconic spock moments of sometimes being awkward and showing emotion are now the only things he is allowed to do. tldr flanderization

i also think its interesting that it is this way since ethan peck played spock in discovery and there hes the exact opposite. hes extremely serious and vulcan; which fits the tone of the show (regardless of my opinions on the tone of disco). i just dont understand how that spock translated into the snw spock. they are not the same guy.

anyways on to the biggest plot related gripe with him...how he interacts with women!!!yay!!

first theres how they decided to have multiple episodes about his, apparently, strained-yet-loving-and-involved relationship with tpring. the inclusion of t'pring feels stupid because other than the 1 minute of cheap "oh i remember her!" from someone seeing her on screen for the first time what point is there to her returning when the ONE canonical fact about her is that she and spock A: had an arranged marriage, B: did not meet in person since they were children, and C: hated each other. its not like there is a huge contingency of t'pring/spock shippers holding out since 1967 so what value does reintroducing her as a character serve? i assume its as some kind of attempt to give a woman who previously had no real character something to do, but her existence on snw is STILL only about spock and her relation to spock so there isnt any sort of feminist level up happening. including her was not interesting enough to justify retconning the plot of the most iconic episode of star trek. especially when multiple episodes tonally and stakes-wise rely on you caring about them as a couple, and anyone watching who knows who she is already knows that her and spock dont have any relationship to speak of in the future so who is this for? if you really really just NEED spock to have sex with a woman why not make a new character? that would also suck but at least it wouldnt be timeline interfering. im not even a huge continuity purist "oh no!!the timeline!!!plotholes!!!" but when the situation is the writers deliberately breaking the continuity in large ways and the outcome isnt even fun? stupid.

and now his relationship with chapel. i am way more annoyed by this one since its just gross. so from tos the only thing with them is that chapel has a crush on him and spock is not interested. also worth noting that its such a non-plot related thing that it only is revealed under the influence of alien drug virus that makes you horny. and they decided that not only was that enough to base a whole reciprocated romance arc around, but now since theyve introduced tpring back into the story, spock is now a cheater??? what is the POINT of breaking canon to introduce spocks girlfriend only to go "well actually hes horny for his coworker" like...that isnt how love triangles work youve just done a character assassination. the man who would rather kill his best friend than have sex with his wife is now fucking both her and the woman who confessed to him and he got so mad he crushed a computer with his bare hands. ok 👍. i just hate that they chose spock to be the romantic center of the show. anyone else could have been the character who gets into relationship drama why spock? there are multiple new characters who could have taken up the position. and its not like spock has nothing else to do as a character without it

to say things specifically about the most recent epsiode since it was particularly annoying and showed things that happen throughout the series:

firstly spock just does shit thats stupid. illogical even. i know the whole logical fallacy moment with vulcans but when it isnt a point of note in the show and rather just happens as if its a normal occurrence for spock as a person im like...he would be a laughing stock on vukcan and not have any of the positive reputation he holds.

the plot of this ep was basically that spock gets turned completely human and they just miss literally the whole point of it. vulcans have MORE emotion than humans, they ACTIVELY suppress it. yet when spock is turned human he just experiences human emotion completely emotionally? he should be having an EASIER time suppressing his emotions. and OMG he gets a BONER because he sees a hot WOMAN LOL LOL isnt that funny? spock got hard isnt that hilarious? its just so cheap. they act like being human makes him a completely different person, they played it like the voyager episode where belanna gets split into human and klingon BUT in that case she was literally split into two different people (this ep had a lot of issues too ie racism but that’s a different can of worms); here spock just becomes human he still has the same memories and training and history...why would he forget what its like to be a vulcan. they could SO EASILY make excuses too but they just didnt care. and anyways bada bing bada boom the ep ends with him and chapel hooking up which i already complained about and could complain about more.

i think thats already too much so im gunna stop myself here but trust theres more i hate and other people have probably talked about this better than i have :')

hello im back (that anon who cant play bg3 herself but needs to Explode dekarios-style over her tav and astarion)

i wrote a full ask for axelias backstory to provide context but then i realized how long the ask would get . so here i am with half of what i need to rant over AJSJSJA

ANYWAYS axelia (my rogue tiefling who was a street urchin) and astarion are absolutely enemies to lovers in the same way shadowheart and lae'zel would be enemies to lovers !! they initially hate each other w a Passion but thats before they realize how eerily similar they are w their experiences and outlooks, and how the other can only really begin to understand why they behave the way they do

initially axelia hates astarion bc she has Issues with political figures (the start of her Trauma is bc of one bribed politician that fucked her already poor family over .) and while she wouldnt admit it easily she had a bias AJSJAJAJJ the only thing she really cared about when she got out of the nautiloid was to get back to her younger sister (hope). astarion would pick up on the friction pretty quickly and sass her right back the most to the point where its honestly a routine for them to fight and the only thing missing is either of them copying shadowheart and laezel w the blade at the throat

however. axelia got to know more about astarion beyond his facade . what really was the first thing that made her empathize w This One Of All People is how they both really dont trust/like ppl who display themselves as a lawful hero AJSJAJJAJ she grew up as a street urchin who was forced into that position bc of a guy who pretended to be good, and nobody would help her, a starving dirty tiefling child whos providing for both her and her sister, without smth in return ? so yeah no she Fucking Gets It .

time passes on and she develops an old married couple dynamic w astarion AJJSJSJA like still bickering but more lighthearted as they learn to empathize more w each other. fast forward to him trying to seduce her for the first time and it was a "might as well happen" thing for her KWNRKSJAJA she felt comfy enough that she didnt see any reason to refuse, and she didnt want to admit it at the time but she was def growing more unironically fond of him and his company

the more she hears about astarions story the more she gets furious for him and determined to show him that there are people who will fight for him . its the protective kind of love that axelia doesnt even realize is whats happening. she just knows that above all else, cazador needs to Die and she'd be willing to risk her own safety just to help astarion see it through

Was rewatching/ thinking about future seasons and I would like to know your take/ opinion on some things I thought about:

1) how do you think Rayla’s going to handle the whole possession stuff? Callum performed dark magic for her (her cause/ saving the dragon) in the first place, but as it stands at the moment, I dont think any of the cast are aware than performing dark magic even once is the key Aaravos needs for possession. That’s all Callum has done, and yet he seems the most in danger from Aaravos. How do you think Rayla will take this knowledge, and what do you think will come of it? I am sure that Callum’s going to be the one to free her parents from the coins, as its been confirmed that only dark magic can do it, and I don’t see any other member of the dark magic cast about to help her with that any time soon… (Callum certainly won’t let her do it, and besides, he’s tainted already anyway, right??)

2) Callum will leave the group because he fears what will happen, leading to forgiving Rayla. I really believe this may be the case as this has happened before, in season 2. Callum forgave Rayla for not telling him/Ezran about Harrow AFTER he realised how difficult it was himself to tell Ezran the truth. Season 4 itself highlighted that Callum doesn’t understand fully why she left still (“It was all for nothing / pointless then?” Or whatever he said Re finding Viren and Rayla’s return, Stella reacted angrily to this comment) even though her letter emphaised it was to protect him, he still cant see it. So I reckon that Callum will end up deciding to leave precisely because he is the danger (in his own mind) he doesnt want to subject them (Rayla) to, and therefore in leaving finally understands (and forgives) Rayla for what she did over two years ago, after experiencing what it is like to be by himself to protect those he cares about. Maybe this is to hunt Aaravos down by himself, or maybe it’s to prevent another possession where he hurts someone (I wonder if this will happen? A stab scene was mentioned?? Between who is unknown but this would definitely motivate Callum to “get out of there” if he’s actively hurt someone he cares about while being possessed..!) Is this a possibility you’ve considered? How do you see forgiveness finally coming about? It must be (in my perspective) about finally understanding and seeing from Rayla’s perspective why she made the choices she did, and from the show’s history, Callum often comes to this understanding by experiencing the same thing Rayla had to go through, and Rayla comes to this understanding by being shown the truth (or told-shown from season 3, when Callum explained about her parents to her after performing the moon spell)…

1) I don't know if it'll so much something Rayla consciously thinks of (her hand in Callum's mage arc and how consistent it's been) but I do think it's something the narrative will lean into. This may be in her guiding Callum out of Aaravos' darkness, since I think it's very blatant where the symbolism is headed, or even possibly a bonus Moon arcanum connection - bringing the light and dark sides of the moon together or something, philosophically speaking. Also provides balance to the "love can destroy you" that S4 is examining with "and it can also save you" since the series' loves its perpetual duality and double-edged swords in all things. I also have a oneshot called "older but just never wiser" I want to write about them fighting exactly over who should be doing the dark magic and I'm quite excited tbh

I'm not sure if S5 will focus as much on unlocking the coins as it will show Rayla struggling with what to prioritize, but I have wondered if beyond dark magic if Viren's staff, specifically, will be needed to do the spell, since the staff is an ancient and powerful relic and was what Viren used to do it in the first place. If that's the case, I could see that looping back into motivation to confront Aaravos and co. directly in hopes of stealing back the staff, but I don't know yet! It could all honestly go in so many directions

2) Honestly I go back and forth on Callum leaving. On the one hand, him "pulling a Rayla" if you will lines up with behavioural things I thought even before the season aired, and S4 gives credence to this by showing the way Callum is acting like Rayla because they have more mirrored trauma by way of abandonment, now (even as they both gain some fun fresh stuff too, lmao). I could see him having a possession scare and deciding to dip. On the other hand, Callum has always been so ingrained in together-ness, and I lean more towards him being possessed one more time before breaking free. I think either way his desire to protect his loved ones (either leaving or sticking around, or both) will be what puts him into a "Aaravos gets out" corner but I think that too, can go a few ways

Mostly because if he did leave, it would be another trauma response. So i think it'd be less about him fully understanding why Rayla did what she did (he arguably did, he just disagreed) and more about Rayla fully realizing why what she did was so messed up and cementing a choice to never leave again. To have both of them Stay this time, and forever, and to realize they don't have to let their trauma tear them or their relationship apart. Big theory on what may cinch the final reconciliation here <3

i dont think about VLR in a vacuum nearly as much as i do 999 but i most certainly have thoughts

every aspect of the person kyle is was calculated decades before his birth. bred like a pedigree dog every aspect of his environment constructed around him like a lab rat, literally hand-designed and grown in a lab for this purpose. his entire life is a step by step list, painstakingly behaviourally conditioned to end up full of a fester of resentment and anger and loneliness and despair in such a way to ensure he is willing to kill and die on what he believes to be (and what still is) his own emotion and conviction and turmoil, but it is a spur of the moment breakdown response the people he is lashing back against in rebellion set up for him. they made him like this very, very deliberately, they had to raise or rather fail to raise him in a way to make sure he'd become this person Sigma already met. They make sure he is someone who will hate this.

Sigma does this by not raising him at all but Akane, with this purpose in mind decades before he would ever exist, does this by showing up most of the way into Kyle's life giving him the first meaning he ever felt in his life and then taking it away again.

She lived with him for years. she had to be what she was for him, was there truth in it? does akane love him? does she care for him at all? is he nothing more than a tool to her? does the answer to that matter at all? not really. kyle believes she did. snake voice whether the devil actually exists holds no relevance. and kyle loves HER. as much as he can try not to, he does.

When he finds out what the ab project is actually for, what he's been working towards the last four years of his life he tries to blow up the entire facility and all of them in it. this is just a major step in what they have designed him to do. all his acts of rebellion and defiance are, unknown to him, just more preset points to check off on their list.

His own route he remembers who his father is who his mother is and his immediate responses are to commit murder and then pull a suicide bomber gambit test, again

well what would he have done if his unknowing father (cause like. sigma doesnt fucking remember bro) really did save him at the expense of his own and Phi's lives? what if he was met with proof he was loved, that his life did matter to sigma, and then was as a direct result left entirely alone having killed three of the 9 people himself? was kyle so certain this would never happen, he really just wanted vindication in his belief he is unloved to define the moment of his death? was that the real point?

And this is the moment he ultimately deliberately and most directly helps their plan. he does it anyway, he tells Sigma the code, delivers the message. he's disgusted by sigma and akanes plan enough he tried to blow up the fucking facility that encompassed the only world he ever knew and everyone in it but in the end at the point where he has to carry out his critical instructions, what he could have made a final defiance after Sigma saved Phi over him (and where Luna in parallel quite possibly couldn't ever refuse to do by nature), a chance he didn't know could have been an actual defiance they really didn't want him to do, he goes through with their instruction anyway. Im not sure what that says about him.

And what was it they told him about this moment? to lead him to organically destructively act it out and then recognise it as the point he was meant to deliver that message?

he Only exists and would only ever have existed for a plan he doesn't fucking care about. even if he may or may not agree with the noble greater good moral justification framing why would he care. he has no way to conceptualise it. it does nothing for him. he cares about what he has, but what he has is two people that lament his reality ever existed and he rejects the only chance for real solidarity he might have in Luna.

for someone who knew only one other human for most of his life, and barely saw that human, Kyle places an awful lot of emphasis on "humanity", it’s a word he uses several times over as synonymous with morality and compassion and rightness.

for all he shuns and for lack of a better word dehumanises Luna how different are they really? They're both designed and sculpted. They both had their thought patterns determined and programmed to behave in a certain consistent way. All for the same sole purpose. Creating just a chance at a superior, perfect, far more valuable world where they could never exist to be a part of. Where there was no need for them. They don't even have their own faces.

The way he talks about junpei and what akane told him about junpei the hatred of a stranger he's never met that she values far more than himself

i NEED him to talk to tenmyouji knowing who he is with full context for them both, there's so much ground there the futile grasps for their own agency the anger the cannot stop loving akane kurashiki no matter how much they Try to the you are a faceless representation of everything she cared about more than she cared for me. while she was the most important person in my world i realised there was someone more important than me in hers. the making meaning in a world and a life others have discarded as hopeless and not worth saving and just a stepping stone to a hypothetical you'll never comprehend and then finally then will she be satisfied? will it be worth it then? why can't it be worth it now, here. (why can't they matter enough to her for that.)

First off Cater- super obvious answer. I feel like he paints his own nails a lot, and he likes to hang out with his friends (his love language has to be quality time <333). He sees painting each others nails as something fun to do, as well as a way to destress after a long day!! He also likes just chatting and talking about the latest news of Nrc!!

I was thinking all three of Savanaclaw,,, but realistically the smell of nail polish would be too strong for them :((( Jack might let you use press ons (yknow,,, the kind that are like stickers that you just roll on?) I think hed be used to his younger sister doing his nails anyways

Floyd!! He is also one who enjoys quality time, and he finds the things humans do to change their appearance interesting! I think he would get a little impatient when it has to dry (dont we all?) but he would sit still for most of it! He’ll even repay the favor and do yours in return! They turn out really well, until he tries to draw little pictures on them,,,

Kalim! He is another one who likes hanging out with people, and he definitely has painted his nails before (either gotten them done professionally, did them himself, or one of his younger siblings did them!) He wouldn’t have a hard time sitting still, but he is very expressive when he speaks, so you might want to keep the conversation calm so he doesnt instinctively wave his hands around (i am also a hand talker and my friends have had to do the same to me,,,)

Room, out of everyone in Pomefiore! Vil cares too greatly, and is too much of a perfectionist, and Epel would straight up turn you down if you asked (maybe will give in with a little bit of persuasion,,,). Rook sees everything as art, and he cherishes the way you paint his nails and the time you two spend together!

Idia and Ortho would, with Idia being a little hesitant. He doesnt take the best care of himself, so as a result his nails are unkempt and would require some cleaning before you paint them,, both of them enjoy it! (Idia because he likes the way it makes his hands look, and Ortho because his brother got off his computer and because he also enjoys how they look on his hands! (does he even have fingernails?))

Malleus, Lilia, and Silver would all let you paint their nails! Malleus would just be happy to be included in a human activity, finding the colors and designs you put on them to be interesting! He also enjoys the little talks you two have while doing it. Lilia has been painting his nails for a while, so he gives you free reign to do whatever colors and patterns you would like! His hands and nails are very pretty and easy to work with, so it’s nice for the both of you! Silver is indifferent, also another one who doesnt take very good care of his hands due to constant training. It relaxes him quite a bit, and he finds it easier to talk when youre both focused on something else (you painting his nails, and him watching)

Sam would 1000% let you paint his nails, and will paint yours in return! He enjoys how it looks, and he likes spending time with his favorite not-sibling (i hc sam to have an older sister [he gives off super younger brother vibes], so he really enjoys getting to act like the older brother for once!) He asks you how school is, if anyones bothering you,,, his friends on the other side even help (can you paint their nails too?)

Chenya would too, good luck catching him first! You get to paint three nails and then he disappears, only to reappear when you put the brush down! You end up getting four out of ten nails, and more paint on his arms than anywhere else!

Neige would also enjoy it, letting you pick the colors and designs. Since you go to different schools, he cherishes every second that you two spend together, also asking you how things are back at NRC

Najma would, IF she gets to brag to her older brother about it. I dont think she would every other time, since I think both Viper siblings like to have a certain look to them and have control over their appearances,,, otherwise, you get to paint her nails as long as she can “accidentally” call Jamil in the middle and also if she can pick what colors and designs she wants. She will do yours before hers

MARJA FELMIER!!! She works with her hands a lot, but no matter what she loves spending time with her not-grandchild! You want to paint her nails? Sure! Wanna bake? Okay! Wanna go chop some wood? Absolutely!

okay so i went into this game assuming kanerah would be my fave and i was like. ready to finally not have to headcanon a romance and shit. and then this bitch named valerie came along. and oh my god she's such a piece of work. so principled. so hypocritical. so abrasive and easy to rile up. she's loyal because she's decided to be loyal. she turns on you for wanting to kill a guy early in act 2 and then turns BACK on him because he hits on her. she doesnt even realise shes gay. ever since she killed fredero because esteem pushed her to do it ive been thinking about it. ive not read the dialogue for her canon straight romance or whatever because honestly i dont care whatever the fuck im doing to her in my head is way more interesting to me. ive done all the stuff for her hellknight ending and im very excited heehee.

Persian: Are you a high or low maintenance couple? Who has the most rigorous grooming routine? Do you help each other?

In this sense, I'd say that Morgen is a lot more high maintenance than R.ocket because she is very preoccupied with her appearence. She is very fashionable, she loves new clothes and accessories, her hair must be perfect at all times otherwise she gets super upset (she even takes her time and fixes and rearranges it DURING battles). Unless she is in a bad headspace, she takes a lot of care of her appearence, sometimes to a bit of an unhealthy degree. She desperately wants to feel pretty at all times. She knows she's ridiculous when she shows up in literal ball gowns while everyone else is dressed up casually, but she just wants to look her best, always.

R.ocket is soooo much more laid back. When it comes to my personal hcs at least, I like to imagine that he does take care of himself as well, pretty often. I know its a pretty common joke that he doesnt like to shower, but the version of him that I f/o never said anything that might allude to that in canon, so to me that will remain as a joke only. He's definitely not as focused as Morgen, but I doubt he'd ever neglect the comfort of feeling clean - raccoons are literally known for washing their food and hands all the time, so its not too far fetched.

When it comes to helping eachother with this type of routine, it was Morgs who first started to do it. Ever since their first days of knowing eachother, she'd offer herself to brush his tail, patch up any injuries he might have gotten, look after him to make sure he eats enough healthy food, overall assuring his comfort, as reluctant as he was to accept it. Tangent here, but when they were still bounty hunters without a fixed place to stay at, she definitely let him take naps on her lap or on the hem of her dress because she hated seeing him have to sleep on the ground when he got tired. That'd be one of the reasons he got so comfortable with her in the future? She was just so, so kind to him. I dont want it to come across that he didn't do anything for her back, nuh uh - she was so sweet in the first place as a way to thank him for protecting her from danger (SO MANY people have tried to go after her, either for the reward money or because she seemed like an easy target; he did not let any of them touch a single hair off her head. ok maybe except for her arm getting ripped off, but he did put it back into place and gave her a cool ability; i need to think more about how that happened), for teaching her about the outside world and literally giving her the chance to escape her dying planet.

Now she still brushes his tail and fur, and in return he brushes her hair - he likes to braid it too. She bought him a bunch of special shampoo too, really good for maintaining his fur :3 fluffy!!!! They also take care of eachother's nails, Rocky is the one who paints Morgen's nails most of the time. She tried once to paint his nails too (he was asleep and woke up with sparkly blue little claws in the morning) and he did not like that in the slightest (he thought it made him look stupid! but he kept them like that for a few days anyway, the color was going to fade off with how much he uses his hands to build stuff). Bit embarassing but he's the one to remind Morgen to brush her teeth; she skips it sometimes because she really hates the taste of toothpaste and the way toothbrushes feel, but it's a lot easier to tolerate it with his encouragement and actual company, as he brushes his teeth alongside her in those moments. ( this whole bit was projection. mooties, brush your teeth, i havent been able to chew food on my left side for months )

OK um i dont know what else to talk about even if i still want to. but i guess its enough for one question 😅😅

Falling (Ava x Danica, Danica x Seilos, and hint of something else)

Seilos had a terrible habit of falling. Deeply falling with no sight of a end. 

First was to the young woman that he was engaged to back in the Ascendency, he was over his head in love.

That served him well, too blind to note that his affections were not returned and rather than face it he ran off into the Stars…

Once again it occured this time with Danica. The most wonderful invdivudal he had met, brilliant and beautiful. The crimson Zabrak captured his heart enitrely, while hers was wrought in many directions. For one his Darling was married, an unahappy marriage at that which left her alone for weeks on end. She sought solace with Seilos and he was more than glad to comfort her.

Secondly, his Darling was in love, unrequited Danica herself assumed, with a young Chiss named Ava. The look in her eyes the affection in her tone as she spoke of the young man who had been at her side since they were both children…

From an outsider’s point of view it was obvious that Ava loved her in turn. The way Danica told Seilos about their past, it could not be denied. It was fear of change that kept her from seeing it…friends for so long, the dearest of friends, who would want to risk such a bond should things not work in thier favor? 

As she spoke of him, Seilos imagined and woke startled from his dreams. The young man from Danica’s photographs still fresh in his mind, his tender kiss still buzzed in his dreams. Seilos had dreamt of Ava…it had occurred once more. Seilos groaned, he had fallen again…

Unfortunately for Seilos, Ava already regrarded him as a rival. Staring slightly at him as he held Danica close. There was no warmth in that gaze.Seilos was the enemy. 

Seilos was a fool in love with the wonderful danica and the dashing Ava.

Seilos made Danica happy, Ava had to admit to that. In the absence, Danica suffered, Seilos was there to aid her to care for her. Ava had been afraid to contact Danica for more than a quick hello knowing he would wallow in misery to hear of her new life without him, how wrong he had been…if he had contacted sooner…if he looked in more…

“She’s asleep now,” Seilos says joining Ava on the balcony overlooking the capital of Felucia. Seilos had tried to flee once more, not wanting to face further heartbreak. 

“Does she get like that often now?” Ava replayed it in his mind.Danica searching frantically for Seilos, where was Seilos? Where were the lovely paintings? Where had he gone without a goodbye? Her sobs and inability to calm herself. 

“Yes…as you know she doesnt do well on her own…” 

Ava knows she doesnt, Zabraks typically dont. In all aspects it was detrimental to them, for a whole year Danica had been alone for the first time in her life, no one that she knew, just alone. 

“That bastard knew…” Ava grips tightly to the railing on the balcony. “He knew leaving Dani wasn't good for her and he didn't even care…”

Seilos sighs, “It was worse prior, when I left the apartment she would be gripping too tight to my sleeve asking if I was going to return back.” 

Ava remembered that from thier childhood, little Danica clung to her parents, to her siblings, she was not meant to be alone…

“I am going to kill him…” Danica left waiting for her husband, patiently waiting and waiting all alone.

 Ava knew she cried and cried. 

That man left her crying. 

“I am going to destroy him…”  he mentally worked through the steps in his mind, recalling all the training Maul gave him. He would search to the ends of the galaxy to rid it of that insufferable bastard. 

“She needs you here, you both have waited far too long to be parted once more.” 

Ava glances to Seilos, he wants to hate Seilos, he truly desperately wants to be able to curse at him and send him away.  Ava could not. Danica loved Seilos…Danica was in love with Seilos…the handsome artist who saw Danica for the wonder she was. For an entire year, Seilos had cared for and loved Dani while Ava hid away….

“Will you go?” Ava tells him. 

“I tried, it didnt work.” 

He had run away to Felucia only for Danica to run after him. He wanted to forget Danica not that he ever could, he would never be able to forget her more so now that she ran after him.

Seilos glances to Ava again, 

“You remind me of starlight, flickering bright at times, so brightly that you shine with kindness,its no wonder Dani has loved you for so long.” 

That made Ava’s stomach flutter. It was practically impossible to not notice why Dani feel in turn for Seilos.
