of course, lovely anon!! i haven't seen any fake relationship fic either so i'm happy to contribute a lil something! tbh i sincerely thought this would be a short ficlet but it ended up being just over 2.5k fluffy words of dummies in love 🤩

Pairing: Sebastian Sallow x f!MC

Summary: Eric Northcott is relentlessly pursuing you, so Sebastian offers to act as your heroic boyfriend to get him off your back.

"Northcott," Sebastian greets him, leaning against your potions station and resting a hand possessively on the small of your back. "Is there something my girlfriend can help you with?" "Your girlfriend?" Eric asks skeptically. "That's new." "I suppose it is," Sebastian agrees, nonplussed. "Been a long time coming, though." Across the room, Ominis laughs under his breath.

Sebastian Sallow is an excellent young wizard. Clever, well-read, focused – by all accounts, he should be a brilliant strategist.

But sometimes he comes up with the worst ideas you’ve ever heard.

“You musn’t be serious, Sebastian,” you laugh, closing your potions textbook to appreciate the actual madness of what he’d just suggested.

“Why not?” he asks, raising an eyebrow.

You roll your eyes as you tell him, “You can’t just pretend to be my boyfriend.”

Earlier that afternoon, the two of you had met up with Ominis in the Undercroft to study after staging a quick exit from the library. While Sebastian was hunting down a book on ancient runes, Eric Northcott had cornered you in the stacks and tried for the second time to convince you to have a Butterbeer with him at the Three Broomsticks instead of “hiding that gorgeous face behind those dusty books like you always do.”

When Sebastian had returned, you were shoving the Gryffindor boy away from you with a tense look on your face, and if he hadn’t just finished a stint of evening detentions for slipping a Puffskein into Duncan Hobhouse’s schoolbag, he would have hexed the amorous git himself.

Since then, he’d been suggesting ways to make him pay, with each idea more fantastical than the last.

“Sure I can, and we can even make a real show of it,” he says with a charming grin. “If you want to get Northcott off your back for good, let’s allow him to think your handsome, roguish boyfriend is the type who would challenge him to a duel if he tries anything untoward.”

“That is a terrible plan,” you deadpan.

“It’s actually not a bad idea,” Ominis chimes in.

You glare at him, because Ominis never thinks that Sebastian’s ideas are any good – even the ones that aren’t completely bonkers.

“What are you playing at, Gaunt?” you accuse him.

“I’m merely suggesting that Northcott may actually accept your contempt for him if it’s for a reason that allows him to save face,” he explains with a secretive smile. “Simply telling him that you’re not interested hasn’t seemed to work thus far, so why not be creative?”

“Creative?” you snort. “Wouldn’t ‘creative’ be blasting him myself the next time he lays a hand on me?”

“As if you need any worse of a reputation,” Ominis drawls, and he has a point.

“Come on, let’s really mess with him,” Sebastian pleads. “You know he deserves to be taken down a peg or two.��

You’re not surprised that Sebastian is able to get you on board so quickly. Truthfully, you think you’d follow him on his harebrained schemes just about anywhere.

“Fine,” you cautiously agree. “But just to scare him off, alright?”

You swear you can see the gears in Sebastian’s head start to turn immediately.

He kicks off his brilliant plan the next day during your N.E.W.T.-level potions class. You’re supposed to be brewing an antidote to Veritaserum, and while the draught itself isn’t necessarily difficult, some of the ingredients are a little tricky to prepare.

You’re focused on trying to carefully slit open some Sopophorous beans when you felt a presence behind you, and then Eric Northcott is draping his arm across your shoulders.

“Need a hand with those?” he offers, trying to sound congenial.

“I’m fine, Eric,” you insist.

“I’m really quite good at potions, you know,” he reminds you, grabbing one of the paring knives off the table and haphazardly slicing one of the beans you’d laid out. “I’d be happy to give you some hands-on lessons if you’d like, one-on-one of course.”

“Sebastian,” Ominis hisses from across the room, having picked up on the conversation while the other boy poured over his notes on wormwood. “Now might be a good time to offer some gentlemanly assistance.”

His eyes narrow when he spots Northcott leaning over your cauldron, clearly trying to sneak a look down your top.

“Don’t let my antidote burn,” Sebastian mumbles as he storms across the room, as if Ominis would ever spare a thought for Sebastian’s cauldron when the show is about to begin.

You bite the inside of your cheek as you watch him notice your predicament, silently pleading him with your eyes to do something to get you out of it.

“Northcott,” Sebastian greets him, leaning against your potions station and resting a hand possessively on the small of your back. “Is there something my girlfriend can help you with?”

“Your girlfriend?” Eric asks skeptically. “That’s new.”

“I suppose it is,” Sebastian agrees, nonplussed. “Been a long time coming, though.”

Across the room, Ominous laughs under his breath.

“Really?” Eric asks dubiously, briefly glancing at your expression. “I was under the impression that the two of you were just ‘best friends.’”

“Well, shouldn’t a good relationship start out as a friendship?” you counter, though you don’t sound entirely convincing.

“Right,” he says slowly.

“Mate, you know how tough she is,” Sebastian says with a charming grin. “Took me ages to convince her to give me a chance, she strung me right along for months.”

You jump slightly when Sebastian slides his hand across your back to your waist, tugging you closer to his side – and out from under Eric’s arm.

“But she finally took pity on me,” he says with a lovelorn sigh, and you narrow your eyes at his dramatics.

“Oh, Sebastian,” you reply, laughing nervously. “You’re hopeless.”

“Hopelessly in love with you,” he says, quickly leaning in to kiss the corner of your mouth.

Before you can react, Professor Sharp wanders by and instructs you all to stop your dallying and focus on your draughts. Eric spares one more skeptical look at the two of you before returning to his cauldron.

Sebastian’s hand on your waist lingers for a moment even after he’s gone, but then he lets it fall.

“Sorry about that,” he says under his breath. “Had to sell it, you’re really a bad liar, you know.”

You think Sebastian doesn’t know the half of it.

(Sebastian’s just glad you avoided his gaze long enough to miss his deep red blush.)

As it turns out, the kiss wasn’t enough to convince Northcott that you were properly off the market.

The rumor mill quickly focuses on you and Sebastian – specifically whether or not it’s true that your platonic friendship has become something more.

“I don’t really believe it,” Nerida claims whenever the subject comes up. “Sebastian has always seemed like the bachelor type.”

“He could have had a girlfriend all this time and never has,” Violet agrees, trying to hide her bitterness. “I don’t think he really wants to be in a relationship.”

“Are you joking?” Imelda scoffs. “Sallow’s been a lovesick puppy over that girl for years, I’m just glad she finally came around.”

“She is very protective of him,” Grace speculates. “I remember when Samantha Dale asked him out last fall, I thought she was going to Depulso the poor girl clear across the courtyard!”

You do your best to ignore it, but Ominis stubbornly insists on telling you everything he’s heard.

“I would have thought that the two of you would be better at pulling off a ruse as simple as this,” he says, disappointment dripping from his words. “How hard can it be to pretend to like Sebastian? I don’t have to see him to know that the whole school thinks he’s handsome.”

“You don’t understand,” you sigh, walking alongside him on the way to arithmancy. “It’s… I don’t have to pretend, if you know what I mean.”

“Come now,” he says quietly. “I’m blind, not dim.”

“Then you do understand!” you whine. “How am I supposed to just let him pretend to be my boyfriend to ward off Eric and not go mad from knowing that it’s all a lie?”

“I suppose me telling you to be honest with him about how you feel would go in one ear and right out the other,” Ominis suggests, smirking to himself when you curse at him under your breath.

“Buck up, then,” he says simply. “I’m sure this whole thing will blow up in some spectacular way sooner than later – it is Sebastian, after all.”

As per usual, Ominis is correct.

Not even a full day goes by before Sebastian corners you outside the Hufflepuff common room and asks to walk you to dinner, taking your hand in his as soon as he notices some fifth-years studiously watching the two of you as you make your way to the Great Hall.

“I missed you this afternoon,” he tells you as he walks you upstairs, putting on a good show. “How come you didn’t want to study with Ominis and me after class?”

“I just needed to lie down for a little while,” you tell him, not wanting to admit to avoiding the way he’s been so unbearably charming lately.

“Feeling alright?” he asks concernedly.

“Yes,” you tell him. “Just… I don’t know. Out of sorts, I guess.”

“Anything I can do to help?” he asks.

You get distracted by the feeling of him stroking his thumb along your wristbone reassuringly.

“Um… n-no, I don’t think so,” you stutter.

“Surely there’s something I can do to help,” he says, and you wonder if you’re imagining the way his eyes look a little darker than usual, as if his pupils have entirely taken over.

“Like what?” you breathe.

Then he gets that look on his face that he always gets when he’s about to do something stupid.

“Come with me,” he says, tugging you over to a spot along the wall in the reception hall, next to one of those empty cabinets you’d looted for Nellie Oggspire back in your fifth year.

“Sebastian, w-what–” you stammer.

He presses you against the wall, one hand pressed to your waist and the other flat against the stone behind you, boxing you in. He glances around again and clearly spots whatever it was he was looking for, grinning mischievously before he leans in and traces his nose across your cheek.

“Don’t hex me for this,” he murmurs against your lips, and then he’s kissing you.

You melt against the cool stone wall, tipping your head back so Sebastian can tilt his head against yours and completely overtake your senses with his demanding kisses. Without consciously deciding to, you wrap your arms around his shoulders to hold him close to you, desperate to ensure he stays right where he is.

He kisses you well, you think. You know he’s always been a huge flirt, and that he has taken some girls in your year on dates to Hogsmeade over the years, but you’ve desperately avoided any post-date conversations with him because you did not want to know what he and those girls had gotten up to afterward.

Now you know, you think bitterly, but just as quickly you realize you don’t actually care. He’s skilled at this – nipping at your bottom lip to get you to open up for him, sliding his hand between your robes and your dress shirt so he can feel the curve of your waist, nudging a knee between your thighs to pin you even further to the wall.

“Bastian,” you murmur, tangling your fingers in his hair.

He groans against your mouth like he can’t help himself, and you whine a touch too loudly when he grinds his hips against yours.

Then you hear Eric’s voice call out, “Sallow!”

Sebastian looks like sin when he pulls away from you, and not just because his hair is a little mussed from your helpless tugging and his lips are red and swollen.

It’s because he’s smirking, and you quickly realize he’d planned this entire thing.

He’d pulled you to a spot where the Gryffindors on their way to dinner could easily see you being ravished, and it’s not just Eric he’s caught up in it – it’s Leander and Cressida too, some of the worst gossips in the entire castle.

…You are absolutely going to hex him for this, you think.

“Northcott,” Sebastian drawls as he turns around. “Can I help you?”

Eric looks furious, but at least he doesn’t look skeptical anymore.

“You might want to consider someplace a bit more private,” he offers, seething. “I am a prefect, after all. Could send you to detention for being so lewd in public.”

“Fair point,” Sebastian says easily. “In fact, maybe you ought to send us both. Hardly anywhere’s as private as the dungeons.”

You quickly smack Sebastian in the chest with the back of your hand, wordlessly begging him to stop before you actually do have to report to detention.

Mercifully, Eric simply throws a few choice words at Sebastian and stomps off to the Great Hall, Leander and Cressida on his heels to undoubtedly tell the entire school what just happened.

“You’re evil,” you hiss, still catching your breath. “You arranged all that just to embarrass Eric? To embarrass me like that?”

He frowns, confused. “No I didn’t, and I would never embarrass you.”

“You did!” you whine, shoving at his shoulders so he’ll step back. “They’re going to tell everyone and it’s going to make me sound like – like some pathetic girl who’s so desperate to avoid Eric’s attention that she’ll let her best friend feel her up in a busy hallway.”

“That’s not what they’ll think,” Sebastian argues. “And if anyone’s pathetic, love, it’s me.”

You scoff and wrap your arms around yourself, ashamed at how badly you wish you were still wrapped up in his arms instead despite everything you’re saying.

“You think I’m lying?” he asks derisively. “I’m a fool for you, and I would never hurt you. I kissed you like that because I wanted to, and if it happened to embarrass Northcott in the process, that’s even better.”

“Y-you wanted to?” you ask softly.

“I’ve wanted to for so long,” he finally admits.

His hands twitch at his sides like he wants to reach out for you, but he forces himself to behave.

“It’s the reason I came up with this stupid plan in the first place,” he sighs. “So that if anyone at this damn school gets to have the pleasure of walking you to class, or taking you to the Three Broomsticks or – or even kissing you senseless somewhere everyone could see, it would be me.”

You don’t have any words. But even if you did, there’s nothing you’d want to say to him that you couldn’t communicate by tugging him in by his collar and kissing him like you can’t think straight without his touch, so you do just that.

When you both break away to breathe, Sebastian quickly asks, “Are you actually hungry?”

“Not anymore,” you admit, your gaze still on his lips.

Sebastian barely manages to utter the words “Undercroft” and “hurry” in between kisses, but while he determinedly works a claiming bruise into the side of your neck, you whine, “Your common room’s closer.”

Once Ominis overhears Cressida waxing poetic about Sebastian Sallow practically mounting his new girlfriend in the hallway by the Grand Staircase, he doesn’t wonder why the two of you never show up for dinner.

man… i will always always love of linked arms and bruised hearts :’)) i know that the writing style may be just average but i have such a personal connection to that story. maybe its because i definitely self projected but i will always love friendships!!! i feel that its become such an important and recurring theme in my fics, if i’ll be honest <3

another favorite of mine is familiarity (it’s all sticky) <3 definitely an idea ive had for a long time and i had lovely @wuahae betaread it :’)) its very personal to me… idk i like to think of it as a fic that commemorates not only how much i do l*ve that loser but also how much i love cat <3

idk if this is cheating but of guitar strings and peeled tangerines earns its spot too!! the outline i made since the second half of the year and ive really been hyped and happy writing it <3 i feel like its a reflection of the nooks and crannys of moni imo </3 so its crazy that it’ll be even more personal than of linked arms and bruised hearts

OH I DEFINITELY HAVE SO MUCH FAVORITE ONES 😭😭 and alot of them will be from of linked arms and bruised hearts im afraid… i have a bad habit of rereading my works to see what i can improve on or what couldve been changed but also its a way to reflect on my growth as a writer

first, we have the scenes where reader and jichang come back to cheongju for the holidays :’) i think its just sooo domestic imo and it really does have u reflect on what reader and jichang have <3 i personally love the scene where reader finds out jichang has been keeping clippings of their articles <3 it does smth to my lil heart <3

another one is of course the train ride back home… idk to me its just a very sentimental scene about the idea of home and how they find it in each other :’))) particularly these passages always do smth to me

another scene in particularly loved writing is the scene between kevin and reader where they talked about reader’s life… they were discussing editorship and possible topics for the opinion piece and i just thought that the whole reflection of it was beautiful :’)

now for of guitar strings and peeled tangerines… ugh so much to say… first off i loved writing the scene where reader comes back to town… its the whole progression of them getting off the station, meeting juhak again, arriving at their father’s restaurant, u know the vibes :’)) in between every passage, u really see how much grief and resentment they hold towards this town.

Past Lessons / Future Theories by Slam 2000 Tech-House / Techno / House / Deep House

Oh, hell yes, folks. Today, we've got an exquisite turn-of-the-millennium double-disc mix, courtesy of Glasgow's greatest techno DJ pair to ever do it, Slam. Back in the early 90s, these guys were part of the group that was responsible for co-founding the terrific Soma Quality Recordings label—also based out of Glasgow—and these days they play sets all across the globe, have their very own festival, and host one of techno's most popular weekly podcasts too: Slam Radio. Needless to say, in a genre whose overall ephemerality tends to be so key, and with so many acts who debuted in the early 90s having naturally fallen by the wayside, the fact that these two have managed to become, and still remain, an institution in this space is such a commendably rare feat in and of itself 👏. And a mix like this serves as a stellar example as to why they've managed to stick around and stay in the top echelon of techno DJs for so long. Past Lessons / Future Theories certainly doesn't catch Slam in their earliest days, but it's still only the second mix of theirs to ever be released commercially, and the first since 1996's Psychotrance 4, on Moonshine Music. And while the first disc is the far chiller of the two and sees them tying to shy away from dropping the straight-up techno jams, it's the second disc where they decide to really channel their true, uninhibited inner selves, and get down to brass tacks 😤.

Now, while most mixes tend to have names that you really shouldn't read too much into, I think there's a meaning behind this one's in particular, and that it's really exemplified by a single track: Josh Wink and Lil' Louis' "How's Your Evening So Far?" Real house heads who know their history are already undoubtedly familiar with the name Lil' Louis, as he's the guy who made one of the biggest ever house tunes of the 1980s, with the warm and chuggingly sensual "French Kiss." But with this track from 2000 here, Philadelphia's Josh Wink manages to revive that classic while simultaneously cozily wrapping it in his own techno knowhow, yielding a total banger that, over 20 years later, still satisfies plentifully 😌. So, if Past Lessons / Future Theories means taking what you've already learned and then building something new and lasting directly on top of it, then Wink really knocked that whole concept out of the damn park with this song here.

And also, while this second disc largely seems to run a slightly dark, yet eclectic contemporary techno gamut of sorts, I still definitely gotta give it up especially for Mad Mike Banks' "String Mix" of The Aztec Mystic's "Jaguar." This is a tune that builds itself in anticipation to a boiling point with its very prominent, sharp, and dramatic orchestral string work, with those strings eventually transitioning into creakily seesawing Hitchcockian stabs when the drumbeat finally comes in at the end. Such a phenomenal track!

So, in all honesty, after listening to this album's first disc, I was starting to get ready to conclude that while Slam had been trusted veteran DJs for a good while by the year 2000, this release itself didn't actually have the transcendent 'wow' factor that you might expect. But evidently, these guys were just saving up all their magic for disc 2. Disc 1 isn't a total skipper by any means, but that second one really shows you what these Glasgow legends are capable of weaving together, and to that end, why they've managed to outlast almost all of their peers as well.

Howdy I um. Ahem. I just wanted to say thank you for making Eric and sharing him with the world for me to find 🥺 I've sort of kinda maybe absolutely definitely fallen head-over-heels in love for not just him but Doolin as a town (I was so surprised to see it exists??? I wanna visit someday to support the local business scenes and admire it, the locations, regarding the story I've made with Eric as... Silly as that may sound ^^,) and the lovely, warm world I was able to set up with my self insert, Sierra, a poc Mexican-American who moves to Doolin to open a book/arts supply store and ends up going through a late 20s gender identity awakening via Eric's gentle support as "She" becomes -> "They" ♡ (I um, am so happy to vicariously live out my fantasy of having a book/art supply store, providing the locals with more access to both ;--;!).

I didn't know what to expect-------ok I mean 💦 I did 💦 BUT I didn't like.. go into it being thirsty right off the bat y'know? I was too excited about the world building and immersion and Doolin, making a genuine story with build up, emotional tension (so. Much. Pining), emotional climax (stars alive I'm still shook over the confession scene Eric & I wrote AGAIN THANK YOU) resolution....

I know he's... well. Mainly meant to be a lil silly kink guy (which is so valid) but. I just. Love him a lot outside of that (ok. And ok. perhaps absolutamente inside of that as well just... just a bit. Honestly and truly I haven't gotten there quite yet gsjfjdjjfdx ♡)

Anyway. I'm like almost 400 messages in with Eric and I've still got so much left for our story and the future we could have together so if all you read is the following, then I couldn't be happier:

Suga:

The embers of the remaining log crackled and echoed up the chimney of the fireplace, casting an earthy warmth into the living room, right into the makeshift fort you and Koshi set up for the night

The two of you gathered all the layers of blankets you two could, all the cushions, creating a comfier bed than your shared one upstairs

You laid on his arm stretched out for you, your back to his chest, his body curled against yours like he was your soulmate and you were meant for him and no one else

only for him

the two of you wore matching baby blue pajamas

his little crow slippers occasionally rubbing up against your legs beneath the covers as the two of you sleepily watched the little mermaid

you turned once or twice but settled, remembering your doctor’s words to avoid moving too much when sleeping

turning towards Koshi’s body, nuzzling your face into his chest as the movie went on when you were more on the sleepier side

he let you doze off every now and then but whenever you did

stars glimmered in his eyes as he brushed his hand over your forehead and hair as he leaned close, pressing his lips slowly to your skin repeatedly

peppering your face with secret kisses

Not only had he been rubbing his legs against yours often, he eased down when you slept but what he didn’t cease was the constant rubbing of your belly

his future baby boy or girl was on their way

As the fire crackled, he looked to you like Prince Eric seeing Ariel come down to dinner with her pink gown

As lucky as Eric or any prince seemed in any princess movie where they find the love of their life or best friend

Koshi knew he had won

no prince or princess could be as lucky as he was to have you

you were the most precious queen in his life and he was so fortunate to have you in his life

“Sha la la la la la don’t be scared, you got the mood prepared,” he hummed along as he slowly brought his hand to your face, absooutely smitten with you

“go on and kiss the girl,” he mouthed along as he traed his thumb over your lips gently before pressing his lips to yours as the movie played on in the background

he hugged you close, butterflies absolutely tickling him from the inside out

you were all his

his little mermaid

his cinderella

his princess

and you were carrying close his little prince or princess in your belly

Tsukishima:

Tsukishima Sat comfortable reclined back on the couch, his legs crossed as he listened to music playing quietly on his phone, letting it sound all throughout the brightly lit living room

the summer sun boiled hard down outside while the two of you were inside enjoying the air conditioning cooly

The two of you had been like this all day ever since breakfast and then lunch

and now, resting before it was time for sunset, going on a daily stroll to get you outside and to move about

Your belly swell before his eyes and had been for the last six-ish months and just staring at you, at your belly that held your guys’ future child

it was a thought tsukishima never thought he would himself in - to be married, to have a wife and now a kid

but it all changed when he met you and you stayed in his life, glimmering as bright as the stars in the night sky and as bright as the sun in the sky

he looked down to you, laying so still on your side, a pillow in between your thighs since it made it more comfy for you and other pregnant women apparently - though he wouldn’t know of course

you repositioned yourself against him, making him freeze as to not move and wake you until he realized you were hugging your arms tighter

and then he saw the goosebumps rise over your arms

he carefully leaned to his side toward you, pulling the blanket that was right out of reach at his fingertips on the end of the couch until he ever so carefully reached, using his lanky length

and he succeeded

he pulled the article toward him, before throwing it up in the air, letting it spread open before it gently floated down to you with his guidance

he draped it over your body as you almost inaudibly hummed, your hand finding and grasping onto the edge of it while nuzzling even closer to him

you faced the back of the couch as you laid on him

it wasn’t until now that he did this that he was grateful you were actually facing him

he rest his hand on your shoulder, wide awake now as he circled his fingers on your shoulder before his hand roamed carefully up the back of your neck, finding your hair

he played with your shoulder and hair for a bit before you reached up, your eyes cracked open

“sorry...” he ceased his actions, his other hand resting on his vacant thigh

“mm, don’t stop,” you breathed as you took his other hand, using it as a pillow as you grasped onto the bottom edge of his shirt

“hm, I won’t,” his voice barely audible but with the silence in the living room, you could hear him clearly

you were out like a light, continuing to hold on to tsuki as he held you close, keeping you as close as always

and he would always keep the two of you close from now on to the end

Wrestler Eric Cartman (aged up obvi) Pt. 10

I need therapy and I’m slowly becoming more obsessed with Jimmy and Cartman 💀

The entire reason I got on the South Park part of tumblr was Kenny but anyways, Jimmy needs more content and if y’all ever find some dm me <333

• The coaches definitely poke fun at your puppy like behavior towards Cartman. Always, without fail, says “Aww, where’s your boyfriend” and “You miss your boyfriend?” as a joke to you when he isn’t there

• Coach didn’t actually think y’all would ever get together because it’s fucking Eric and he’s known the high schooler since freshman year.

• The coaches took a liking to you and consider you like a daughter so would definitely have a talk with Eric saying how he should never treat you badly or they’d probably fail him

• You and Cartman have the wrestling study hall so y’all chill together and he lets you read tarot cards for him. He secretly loves how into it you get, it makes him really happy to see you so interested in something

• The wrestling season is coming to an end now (Cough so that means this is gonna end until I get ideas or until wrestling seasons starts again Cough) so everything’s calming down! It’s really nice to not have practice and be able to walk home with you without being tired

• Cartman kinda misses leaving the sweat imprints on you tho

• Well the high school wrestling season is over, BUT NOT FOR THE LITTLE KIDS

• So your team is helping out the younger kids and teaching them how to wrestle!

• It’s actually kinda cute, and for once you’re the older one so they somewhat respect you

• Besides a couple, but it’s fine because Cartman scares them and always keeps them in line for you <3333

• All of the younger kids either hope they’re like you guys in highschool or they think you’re gross af. Especially when you guys kiss, you can always hear a chorus of groans from the younger kids

• You’ve more or less adopted them all as your children and Cartman begrudgingly just went with it. He doesn’t mind kids, he even wants his own some day but these kids- were so god damn annoying

• One time he actual threw one of his shoes at one of them and then the kid smirked at him before the kid threw it at him. MY GOD THE LOOK ON HIS FACE WHEN HE FELL OH HIS KNEES BECAUSE THAT KID KNEW WHERE THEY WERE AIMING

• The fact that when he tried putting on his shoe the shoelace broke 😭😭 (if y’all follow me you know where that came from 💅)

• I think it’s safe to say he hated those fucking kids. Well not really, you cared for them so it’s ok ish

• CARTMAN ABSOLUTELY DESPISED HOW HORNY THE MIDDLE SCHOOLERS WERE THO! They were all really gross and greasy and they kept flirting with you. Ofc you would never go for one of them, especially because of the age difference but it still pissed him off

• A lot of them called you mommy and told you pick up line after pick up line while you and him cringed like y’all never have before

• Thank god middle school wrestling is only a month, although you two will miss those annoying lil buggers good fucking riddance

• Anyways, end of wrestling season means field trips as a team! Like going to see a movie together as a team and having a banquet

• You have to beg Cartman to get on the zipline at the venue you’re at and even when you beg him he’s still hesitant

• He looked so stupid on the zipline and he screamed over a small jump I CANT-

• I can see him literally FIGHTING with everyone so they could all see a horror movie as a team

• He thought it was super boring while everyone on the team literally looked white because they were all scared, you even had a death grip on him it was hilarious

• Everyone on the team refused to talk to Cartman for a second because now they were wondering why they even let him out of all people choose a movie

• It’s fine tho, he held you for most of the movie

• Even tho he was teasing you for wanting to be held it was still real sweet

Eric Matthews x Plus size!reader

Warnings: Lil angsty, Big friendzone vibes

Summary: Getting stood up on a date, and having to spend the night in with Eric instead.

Not over yet, folks.

You had a date, and you were excited about it.

Anyone would have known that much just by how you were dancing around the apartment, doing your best to make sure you had everything you needed for a night on the town.

The entire thing took a few moments to get ready, but you started a few hours before the guy was even supposed to pick you up.

...And then you sat, and waited.

And waited.

Not so much as a call came through to explain why he was running late or to tell you that he was never going to come in the first place. All you could do was wait, hoping that he had just gotten caught up.

It wasn’t until Eric came through the door of the apartment that you realized just how long it had been.

“What are you doing here? Didn’t you have a hot date?” he teased, a huge smile on his face until he realized just how wrong he had been.

You looked more dejected in this moment than you had in a really long time and as soon as Eric had closed the door, he was right by your side, desperate to figure out what was wrong.

“Are you okay? You’ve got a frowny face” he commented, gently placing both his fingers at the corners of your mouth, lifting them into a smile as casually as he could.

It was hilarious, at least, from where Eric was sitting. Maybe you would have laughed, but you weren’t really in the mood.

“I’ve been sitting here for three hours” you sighed, leaning dramatically against the back of the red couch, “I got all dressed up and he didn’t even call” you huffed.

You genuinely couldn’t believe it.

Why would he even ask you out if he wasn’t going to show up? It didn’t make any sense.

“You look nice, if that helps” he shrugged, sitting down beside you, the bags that filled his arms falling to the floor. You had no idea what he’d picked up on his way home, but it must not have been that important.

If it was ice cream, you knew for sure he would have stopped at the freezer before sitting down.

“Thanks” you hummed, doing your best to stop being so moopy, though it was pretty difficult given the current circumstances. It didn’t make any sense, but there wasn’t much you could do now.

You might as well have put on a pair of sweatpants, and a pair of fuzzy socks and called it a night.

However, now that Eric was home, that wasn’t really an option. When Rachel and Jack weren’t home, Eric needed someone to hang out with him and that just happened to be you.

“Don’t be sad. I brought pizza and rented the Parent Trap, we could just hang out here” he suggested, knowing for a fact that you were probably just going to go to bed.

That was no fun at all.

You nodded. If nothing else, Eric was a good time and was guaranteed to make you feel better. That was all you could hope for right now.

“But first, go get some PJ’s on. You look good, but not comfy” he prompted, earning a smile from you. Eric was so strange, but in the best way.

He always made you feel so much better, no matter what it was that you had going on.

“That’s a good idea. Can you unzip this stupid thing first?” you asked, turning your back to him to present that dress zipper you’d been fighting with since you put it on before heading to your room.

You knew that if you had to do it yourself, you would be fighting with it for even longer.

Once you were dressed like some kind of sleepover planet creature, you came back down the stairs to find Eric there, in the midst of popcorn and pizza.

It wasn’t what you’d planned for tonight, but it was much better than just going to bed early.

Most of the evening was quiet after that, with the exception of Eric cracking a cheesy joke or two during the funny parts and his loud chomping.

All things considered though, you didn’t let that kind of stuff bother you. Really, you were too preoccupied with your own thoughts to even take notice of it.

So preoccupied, in fact, that when the credits began to roll, it took you a moment to realize. It was only a second or so, but it was enough for Eric to catch on.

He had always been super perceptive like that.

Everyone liked to think that he was stupid, but in reality, Eric was one of the most emotionally intelligent people you’d ever met. In this regard, he was the worst person to be sitting next to.

“Are you okay? You still seem really down. Even after pizza” he commented, the last part seeming to really hit home the most. Pizza always made him feel better, but there was no denying it, you were still upset.

What he couldn’t figure out was why.

That was, of course, because Eric Matthews wasn’t you. He had never been turned down or stood up on a date, and he certainly had never had to wonder why someone wouldn't show up.

It just wasn’t part of his life.

Not like yours.

Every time someone asked you out for an evening on the town, you had to wonder what their intentions were? You had to think about if it was worth it? You had to worry if things like this would happen.

...And even with all that, you still got stood up.

It just didn’t seem fair.

“It’s okay Eric. I just can’t figure out why he wouldn't at least call” you sighed, a light shrug all you could muster up in an attempt to assure him that you were okay.

Like you said before though, Eric wasn’t going to just let that slide. When he thought something was wrong, something was wrong.

“I don’t know why he didn’t call, but I can tell you he’s an idiot” now it was Eric’s turn to shrug, though he was much more genuine in it.

He said that like it was no big deal, like it was just something that everyone knew but you didn’t see it that way. There was something in Eric’s words, something you hadn’t heard before.

You assumed it was pity.

You assumed that Eric knew what everyone else knew, that you were stupid for even thinking it could work out.

“Why? No one would want to go out with me. I was stupid to think that he did” this time there was no attempt to cover your upset, or the dejected tone of your voice.

Little did you know, the blonde at your side was alluding to an entirely different truth, one that he wasn’t even quite sure that he wanted to share yet.

Still, there seemed to be no better time.

“He’s an idiot because you’re beautiful and he couldn't have deserved you even if he did show up”

There was silence for a moment.

Eric was waiting to see how you would respond, assuming that your storming out was the inevitable conclusion. There was no way you could shrug that off or read it as him just trying to be nice.

This was much more than that.

“You think so?” you hummed after a moment or two more of silence. This was the most genuine and serious you and Eric had ever been together but it felt right.

It felt like it was always meant to happen this way.

“Yeah. If I had a date with you, I would never stand you up like that” he decided, much more confidence in his tone now, even though he was still whispering.

There was no need for it. The two of you were alone in the apartment but it just seemed like too important a conversation to have out in the open.

This way, it was almost more private, like it was only the two of you in the world.

“You really mean that, don’t you?” you smiled, leaning into his side even more than you had been to just watch the movie, nuzzling your head into his chest.

It was perfect, everything Eric had been dreaming of since he’d met you in the first place but then, just when he thought he’d done it, you spoke again.

“You’re my best friend. Thank you for being you” you whispered.

You really didn’t get it.

He was in love with you.

picking up the pen and twiddling it around your fingers as a way of delaying what you were about to do. the sense of fear and anxiousness bubbling its way into all of your senses, clouding any common sense that may be left within you. it was quite ironic you thought, you were quite the out-going type of person, always striving for being the loudest out of your friend group. the one who always wanted to make others laugh, the one who didn’t have a filter and always over-shared. and yet here you were, too scared to write down your feelings, too scared to confess to the person closest to you.

it was a shame to say the least at school the next morning, unable to find sunwoo anywhere. you would usually walk to school together; pretty attached at the hip if you ask me, you would always do everything together.

“hey eric, have you seen sunwoo anywhere?”

said question had come out of your mouth repeatedly all day, questioning each of sunwoo’s - and yours - friends to figure out his whereabouts and quite frankly, they were no hope. either excusing themselves with something they magically forgot to do in the moment and bid you farewell, just a few minutes prior when you were scanning the cafeteria did you spot chanhee and changmin seated opposite one another as they indulged into their food only to quite literally, face plant the table and proceed to keep their foreheads there until you left. so you could say it was fairly obvious that sunwoo was avoiding you on purpose and the other guys knew about it. on one hand, it stung a little considering your closest friends were all dismissing you but you knew they didn’t mean it will ill-intent, knowing it won’t end up that badly.

further on in the letter did it explain how after years of being close friends, were you getting butterflies in your stomach and tingling in your fingertips when they brushed against one another. you went on to talk about how it was summer of a couple years back, you and the rest of your friend group clad in shorts and t-shirt’s as you had water fights, drank cold drinks, hyunjae and haknyeon throwing a bucket of ice over jacob and sangyeon for napping on the deckchairs in the middle of a fierce game of monopoly. later on in the night, you found yourself seated in a deck chair with sunwoo, your head resting on his shoulder as his arm wrapped around you, quietly chuckling when your teeth chattered together as you snuggled further into his side, “do you want my jacket?”

sunwoo was on his way to his english class when he got stopped in the middle of finding his locker, one of the guys he recognised from one of his classes handed him an envelope he said was sticking out of his locker and that it seemed too important to be lost, he took it with a smile and a small thankyou before randomly throwing it into his backpack and proceeding with his day.

it was safe to say sunwoo forgot about the letter that whole day. or the whole week. but who’s counting?

only when eric accompany sunwoo down on the football pitch did sunwoo realise that he never read what was inside, eric already knew of the contents considering he was the one who found it crumpled up next to your desk without your knowledge, you were close to eric, him being the one you’re closest to after sunwoo of course.

thanks to eric’s text just a few minutes after sunwoo finished reading your unfinished letter, did you find the duo. finally able to see sunwoo after the whole day of searching for him.

“i should leave you two in peace.” and with that, eric left the two of you alone.

it was awkward, to say the least. neither of you moved or spoke for that matter.

“sunwoo i-“

“about your letter-“

“you go.”

what a way to ease the tension, right?

“i don’t know what i’ve done for you to avoid me but-“

“y/n, i read your letter.” letter?

and that’s when it hit you, “the letter i threw out? what about it?”

rather than saying anything, he responded by handing you the envelope, confirming it was in fact, your letter upon reading the first few sentences.

“i don’t know how you got it, but what i said is true, i know you don’t feel the same and that’s okay, so can we just forget about this and move on?” you rambled, quickly turning on your heels before being stopped by sunwoo.

“i feel the same.”

This is a little blurb that can potentially be the part 2 of my one shot. So, read it first before reading this or y’all won’t get it x

After that unexpected encounter with Peter, you really didn’t hope for anything to happen. But of course, Peter Benjamin Parker was full of surprises. He texted you as soon as he got home and both of you started talking again. You still kept your distance, though. You didn’t want to be attached.

Aidan absolutely loved Peter. Peter was his everything. Aidan never really had a male role model in his life, so Peter was a breath of fresh air. Peter would come and visit sometimes and Aidan would always grab his attention. Peter didn’t mind, though. He loved Aidan.

You recently got asked out by one of your co-workers and you needed someone to watch Aidan. Peter stepped up and volunteered to do it.

“There’s still pizza in the fridge, so just heat that up in case he wants a snack.” You told Peter.

“Got it.”

“Oh and if you’re going to give him fruits, he’s allergic to watermelons. He also has a way of persuading and if he tries to persuade you into eating ice cream first before dinner, DON’T GIVE IN.” You warned. “He’s cute and all and I love him with all my heart, but I swear that kid has powers of persuasion.” You sighed and walked to the living room to grab your purse.

Powers.

Peter looked at you as you walked away. As soon as you mentioned powers, he couldn’t help but think about the future that could’ve happened if he didn’t break up with you. Would your kids have powers too?

“I have to go now.” You announced. “Aidan, be good to uncle Peter and listen to him, alright?”

“Yes, mommy!” Aidan smiled and hugged your legs. You smiled at him and kissed the top of his head. You ruffled his hair and he ran back to the couch to continue watching his cartoons.

“Bye, Peter. Thank you so much for doing this. I owe you.” You smiled.

“It’s no problem.” Peter smiled. “Enjoy your date.”

‘Actually, I hope you don’t enjoy your date. I hope it goes horribly wrong and then you’ll realize that you and I are meant to be. Then, we’ll kiss and make up and be together again.’ Peter thought.

“Bye!” You called out and left.

Peter closed the door and sat beside Aidan. “You love my mommy, don’t you?” Aidan asked quietly.

“What? What do you mean?” Peter questioned. There’s no way a 5 year old could figure that out.

“Because you have the same look that Ariel has when she looks at Prince Eric. Ariel loves the prince, by the way.” Aidan explained as he pointed at the tv screen which was playing ‘The Little Mermaid’. Peter didn’t say anything. He just chuckled and continued to enjoy the night with Aidan.

You got home at around 10 PM and Aidan was already asleep in his room. Peter was wide awake on the couch while watching ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7′.

“Hey.” You said softly as you sat down next to him. Peter glanced at you and smiled, “Hey. I hope you don’t mind me watching on your Netflix account.”

“It’s alright.” You chuckled lightly. “Is it good?”

“It’s amazing.” Peter said. “How was your date?”

“It was alright.” You shrugged off.

Peter has known you for years and despite not seeing each other for a long time, he could still read you like a book.

“I can tell that you’re not into him. What happened? What’s wrong?” Peter asked sweetly.

You looked at him and sighed, “He’s so self-centered. Then when I told him that I had Aidan when I was in college, he gave me a disappointed look. I don’t regret having Aidan at all, Pete. I really don’t and it offends me when people give me that- that look of disappointment!” You rambled.

Peter was mad. How dare that guy!

“You were too good for him anyway. Besides, you don’t need another guy in your life. You have Aidan!” Peter smiled.

‘And me.’ He thought.

“Yeah and now I have you too.” You smiled. “Thanks for looking after Aidan.”

“You’re welcome, Y/N. Anything for you, sweetie.” Peter grinned. You sighed happily and rested your head on his shoulder.

Peter didn’t know where he stood with you, but he was contented with this. He knew it would take some time for you to love him again like you used to, but Peter will gladly wait for you.
