#elijah and davina as friends would be hilarious

The main reason I can’t see Elijah considering Marcel and Davina as family compared to Cami is the fact that they’re seen as being anti-Mikaelson (rightfully so) more times than not. But in Elijah’s eyes, it doesn’t matter if their reasons are valid, it would make them a threat to his family. Whilst Cami (and obviously Hayley) on the other hand, never did anything to go against the Mikaelsons or harm them. It’s kind of ironic considering they’re the two that actually married a Mikaelson in the end.

I don’t really know how to form this into a question so I guess I’m just asking for your opinion on it lol.

I do see what you're saying and I think Elijah has different tiers of family.

Cami and Hayley were in the Rebekah/Klaus/Hope top tier for him. And yes, a lot of it is because they accept Rebekah and Klaus so easily. He is able to allow himself to love them in that way because he doesn't have to worry about causing division in his family as he has had to in the past. Cami and Hayley can threaten the very lives of his family, and they kind of do, but he wouldn't harm them for anything.

But Marcel should be up there too. This is actually another reason I wish the show wasn't so centered around Klaus because Klaus wasn't the only one that was there for 100 years watching Marcel grow up, yet based on what we see in the show it almost feels that way. I think it would be extremely problematic for Elijah to watch Marcel grow up and be raised in his household but not even consider him family. Even though Hope is not Elijah's child, he would never let anything happen to her even if she turned on Klaus or his family. Why should Marcel be different? This is a big problem I have with the writers, how differently the family members interact with Hope and Marcel. Just because Marcel is not biologically related, they raised him. They chose to make him a part of their family. That makes him family. I can't imagine Elijah watching him grow up and not caring for him. We see it throughout the show that Elijah does care about Marcel, even though he has a terrible way of showing it a lot of the time. Elijah regrets how their relationship turned out because he allowed Klaus to dictate raising Marcel. So it's not because Marcel is with Rebekah but because he was adopted by the Mikaelsons. Elijah even helps dagger Kol for attempting to harm Marcel when he is a child. Their relationship is continuously disregarded though in the name of drama or trying to build up Klaus as a father figure.

Ideally I would like to think Elijah views Marcel more up there with Hope, but unfortunately he's probably more on the same level as Kol. I think still maybe above Finn. Like Elijah would leave Marcel to rot in the dungeons, but I just don't see Elijah killing him (I know ironic because it did happen).

Davina is a little different because Elijah doesn't really know her for a long period of time. Davina's relation would be mostly because of how Marcel and Kol view Davina. Elijah doesn't really have a direct link to her so I do think this is a little weaker of a connection. Just because your sibling is dating someone, doesn't mean you view them as family. Davina is family adjacent at best, which is why I think he would inevitably still sacrifice her for his family. He'd rather Kol be heartbroken and alive then be dead. I think if Elijah had lived to see them marry and interacted with Davina more, he would come to see her as family and even find her hatred of Klaus amusing. But I don't think she would ever truly get to a point where she would be safe if she went against the family. Elijah may hesitate more if he has his own familial love for her, but to Elijah, she would always be just outside of those who are safe.

We also can't forget that their own family members were anti-Mikaelsons so I don't think this necessarily stops them from being family. Look at Kol and Finn. Elijah may let them sit in a box for an unspeakable amount of time, but he wouldn't let anyone harm them. It's one of those, I can bully my sibling but if someone else did it, we'd have problems.

I've said this before, but I love that an important trope for TO is that family isn't just blood and hate that it is a trope that is forgotten so much in the writing. There are so many amazing found family relationships as well as so many blood relationships that are terrible. I wish the show about family would have focused more on the family.

About damn time (First Meeting) Kol x Reader platonic!, Elijah Mikaelsonx Immortal reader first meeting! Klaus Mikaelson x Immortal reader first meeting!

Summary; Kol finally fulfils his promise he had made to you millennium ago before Klaus dragged him, it took some time to remember the promise he had vowed to his closest friend and now he's come to rescue you(?)

''Brother, do you perhaps know where Kol is taking us?'' Klaus question, walking through what seemed an endless loop of an abandoned forest.

''I haven't the fanciest idea, Niklaus, perhaps you should ask him?'' Elijah shrugged, watching the cool air leave his lips. they had been on this path for what seemed hours on a torturous end.

The younger Mikaelson seemed occupied with his search, determined to find the location of wherever he was going seemingly unaware of the two brother's conversation.

It had been what felt like hours before Kol finally came to a stop, in front of a rather old and abandoned and shut down facility. Well it looked more like what Kol would would call hell.

''Kol, fancy telling us why you have brought us to what seems...an abandoned facility?'' Klaus's voice cipped in, his voice echoing throughout the facility.

''If I remember correctly her cell was....ah, here we are!'' Kol muttered to himself as the three Mikaelson's came to a stop in front of a large beaten down metal door. There was a power of sorts, it was faint but Klaus and Elijah would feel the magic and power emanating from whatever was behind these closed doors.

''She? well, isn't that just hilarious brother.''

''A woman? dear lord, Kol what have you gotten yourself into this time?''

Both brothers mused at the same time, while Kol on the other hand, seemed rather happy and slightly anxious something he had only felt around Davina.

''Quite, now brothers, you need not make so much noise..or you might upset her'' Kol shushed his brothers as he grunted, pushing open the metal beaten down doors only to be met with the sight of you.

Hanging by a thred, chained, bloodied and wholes pierced throughout your body, it was like something form a horror moive, expect it was right there, in front of all of them to see.

Kol, on the other hand seemed to be unbothered by it, and grinned, slowly walking closer and closer to the seemingly dead woman.

''Y/N! old friend! it has been far too long, I apologise for taking so long, darling.''

Y/N? Old friend?

far too long? just what the fuck was Kol going on about?

''Brother, I do not think it is a good idea to approach a dead woman—''

''Nonsense! Y/N and I go way back, she would do no harm to me!'' Kol cut Elijah off again, coming to a stop in front of you, slowly kneeling down beside you.

And tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear as you managed to open your eyes.

''There's those deadly eyes I've missed so much.'' You couldn't help but attempt to groan and roll your eyes at him but all you could give him was a weak nod.

''Oh, you poor thing...I am truly sorry for not coming sooner darling..'' He mumbled, almost to himself if it weren't for how close he was to you. The sound of tust and steel clashed against each other was heard as Kol managed to free you of the chains that had binded you to this hell whole.

Grunts and groan were heard as Kol threw that last steel pole to a near by corner and swiftly catching you before you could meet the cold ground.

''You must have a death sentence, old friend, have I not told you of my disdain of man-kind...why have you brought two?'' You croaked out eyeing the two men that stood quietly, as your body began to heal on its own almost until it was like all the wholes, deep wounds, scars and marks had had vanished as if they weren't there to begin with.

Elijah and Klaus shared a knowing look, to say they were astonished at how fast you could heal was an understatement, you looked like an ordinary person. Yet the magic that coursed through your veins a spoke other words.

''Ah, is that so? and who might you be, love?'' Klaus asked, approaching the two, grinning at the sight of your disdain plastered on your face. ''Niklaus, I suggest you not angry the girl any feather, you don't know what she is capable of''

Klaus simply shrugged off Elijah's concerns instead, focusing on the anger girl.

''Y/N L/N, who the hell are you?'' You spat back, all but venom in your tone of voice,

You clearly didn't like them, for clear obvious reasons. Them on the other hand seemed intrigued by the woman covered in stained blood.

''Niklaus Mikaelson, pleasure to meet you, Y/N''

''Niklause? ah,so I take it your the bastard that daggered Kol and kept in a coffin for centuries? tsk...some brother you are'' Klaus raised an eyebrow at your boldness, stopping right in front of you with a wicked grin.

''Now, now no need for such hostility, I simply followed at my little brothers request.''

''Hm, a shame really, there wouldn't be a need for hostility if I didn't know man-kind so well'' You retored, attempting to move only to fall into the arms of a man you didn't know yet you already hate.''Careful love, wouldn't want a pretty thing like you to hurt yourself now would we?'' Both brothers rolled their eyes at Klaus statement, of course he would flirt with you, even if the crazy idiot didn't know who he was talking to.

Before you could think of a comeback, your mind had gone blank and suddenly you were knocked out cold in his arms, all three brothers stared at you for a moment, before Kol gently scooped you out of Klaus's embrace.

carrying you braidstyle out of the abandoned facility as they made they're way out of the forest,

''Rest, old friend. You deserve it.'' Kol gentle whisper was the last thing you remembered before blacking out, into a deep and such needed sleep.

for ships, of au sorts how do you feel about a crossover between shameless usa and vampire diaries/ the orginals/legacies who would you pair up with who and why? if you have time.

Now there's a crossover I never expected to be asked about. But also, I love it?? So... okay! Let's try this! We'll go through each main character from TVD first and list who I'd ship them with from Shameless. Also, just trying to imagine any of this is hilarious so this is going to feel very much like crackshipping, as it should, so keep that in mind! (For the record, though, all of the adults, i.e. Kev, Veronica, Frank, are absolutely not going to be shipped with any of the teenagers of TVD, including vampires who were turned at 17. However, because in season 1 of Shameless, Fiona was 21, Lip was 17, those are more likely the versions of them I am going to be shipping with the TVD characters unless I say otherwise. As for Debbie and Carl, I'll be going with later seasons for them. And Liam probably won't be included because he's eleven, so.)

• Elena: So, first up, we have Lip. I think that early seasons Lip was just enough interesting for this to work, because he was sensible but also... a complete dumbass.

• Damon: Oh, why would you let me do this? He and Fiona would absolutely have slept together at least once but they're just friends who sass each other each other now. He also had a thing with Ian in the later seasons... and Mickey. Whether these were separate occassions or even an ongoing thing is entirely up to you. And also, there's no way that he didn't get on V's very good side, and Kev is not immune to a little bit of charm. That was definitely not a separate occasion but it was only once. Or twice. (And I just need to add in for my own self-indulgence, he has absolutely met and quite liked Dylan, aka Chris Brochu, aka our lovely Luke Parker. Quite awkward for Lip when he realized that the guy who hooked up his sister and his brother and still comes around the house is also hooking up with the son of the woman that Lip is sleeping with.)

• Stefan: ... Why can't I think of anyone? Anyone with Stefan feels wrong. Okay, wait, no, he may have been Lip's identity crisis. And I can actually see something coming out of that long-term, I quite like that one!

• Bonnie: If I'm going with Whitmore season TVD and season 1 Shameless? Fiona could work. But honestly? I just want to give her a scary girlfriend so Mandy. Bonnie and Mandy is what I want. And maybe also Lip. He can be sweet, and Bonnie deserves someone who will care about her as much as Lip cared about Tami! (I don't remember much of him and Tami so I may be wrong about their relationship.)

• Caroline: Season 1 Caroline definitely had a thing with season 1 Lip. I imagine it a bit like her relationship with Tyler? Maybe they do end up together later... can I turn Lip into a vampire, holy fuck. Is that allowed?? Or a witch, the Gallaghers are witches and the Milkovich's are werewolves now, deal with it!!! So, yeah, Lip. And honestly, also maybe Fiona. Or even Tami. (Damn, why do I really ship Caroline and Lip now?)

• Matt: ...I can't even pretend any ship with a Shameless character for him is anything but hilarious. But in later seasons of Shameless and about Whitmore College age of TVD... Carl. Look, they're police academy buddies, okay. And Mickey would have the most fun with him. It's literally Damon and Matt's dynamic I'm picturing but add in some ✨ feelings ✨ God, but also I feel like he and Lip can kinda bond in some ways?? Maybe they'd just be good friends, though.

• Tyler: Why can I see him and Fiona? They probably wouldn't last but she just feels a bit like if Vicki had gotten to live (and had more siblings than just Matt to look after). Also... I'm trying to decide between Ian and Lip? I feel like Tyler and Lip would be the same age and they'd have the best friends who argue sometimes (like Tyler and Matt). But I can also see Tyler and Ian bonding over some things and getting kinda close? With all of the things the two of them have gone through (the main two being Ian's bipolar disorder and Tyler being a werewolf), I can see them being there for each other. But also Tyler and Lip!! I can't decide!! Also, he might be the only one I can see having a thing with Debbie in later seasons. And I wanna let Tyler have a scary girlfriend (but like, good scary, not Debbie scary) so Mandy as well.

• Enzo: Imagining him in the Gallagher household feels like when Jimmy Steve was still around but even more chaotic 😭 Okay, okay, but Lip. He's literally my go-to answer at this point, I think, but it makes sense to me. I may have to give in a say maybe Fiona, because a tiny part of me can see it. I can see him just hanging around the Gallagher house and Ian having a mini crush on him as well, though, just saying, and Mickey probably has a mild crisis everytime he's around him as well and he hates it, but it's definitely the damn accent!

• Alaric, this little bitch that I actually used to care about in early seasons, since he's different in TVD than he is in Legacies: Charming new teacher and Fiona who has to come to parent's day definitely had a thing. No doubt about it.

• Katherine: She has too high standards for anyone on this show, but she might make am exception for Lip and Jimmy Steve. Both of whom she is absolutely just using like she was with Mason.

I think that's it for main characters of The Vampire Diaries! That was definitely interesting. Now, onto The Originals!

• Klaus: Is it any surprise that I'm saying Fiona? Probably not long-term but it definitely happened. He's also a charmer so it's not a surprise that he could charm Ian, an by extension, possibly Mickey. I also get the feeling he might try with Sandy but that is going nowhere. At all.

• Elijah: Look, he likes slightly unhinged -- he fell in love with Katherine, after all. But I cannot imagine him with a single person on this show. Actually, fuck that, he's Jimmy Steve, he'd like Fiona.

• Rebekah: Please, Lip would absolutely be all over her and she would love it. He has a thing for high-maintenance and we've seen how much she liked Matt. It makes sense. And just try and tell me she hasn't flirted with V. You can't because she would.

• Hayley: Not necessarily romantic but Hayley, Fiona, and V being bitchy best friends? I want it. Screw Kev, this is the trio I want.

• Marcel: He likes a challenge, we know this, and the Gallaghers are definitely a challenge, so do we think he could handle Fiona? I'm seeing some feelings for Tami in there as well because he is another one who enjoys high-maintenance. And also... V? I just ? I feel like he and V could get along quite well.

• Josh: Oh, you know I have to ship him and Ian. They're both soft, leave me alone, let them be happy.

• I just cannot see anyone for Cami or Davina. It feels impossible.

I know you asked about all three shows but I'm gonna be honest, I cannot even imagine it for any of the Legacies characters, it's very strange to me! So, I'm gonna leave it here! This has been delightfully fun and hilarious.

Consequences Part 15

Summary: What do you do when your old frenemy threatens to cut off your army at the source? Obviously you abscond with the doppelganger in the dead of night, but every action has consequences. Pairing: Klaus x Elena Word Count: 2397

November seemed to pass in a blur of colour. It happened when people fell into a routine.

Davina had been living at the plantation for a month. She had become good friends with Elena in that time. She wasn’t much older than Elena had been when she lost her parents and her life was plunged into the supernatural world.

If Elena hadn’t hated the Quarter witches before for what they had tried to do to her she definitely would have after learning of the Harvest.

Davina had told Elena about how she had helped Marcel control the witches; her advanced powers made it so she knew when someone was using magic and who that person was. Usually the perpetrator didn’t live long before Marcel of one of his crew killed them; there had been a zero tolerance policy in the Quarter.

What surprised Elena most was that there had been no sign of witch activity since the teenager had come in to Klaus’ care; nothing she could see, and nothing Davina could sense. That led Elena to believe the witches still thought Davina was in Marcel’s clutches and that the only member of the coven who knew the truth was Kaleb and the former witch Sabine.

The young warlock had been shunned for turning on his people to help Elena; for siding with vampires. He didn’t seem overly bothered by it, but perhaps that was because he had thrown himself headlong into teaching Davina control with the help of Sabine.

Sabine had struggled with the initial transition. She might have struggled still if not for Elijah’s help and her newfound mission to bring Davina control over her increasingly uncontrollable powers. She seemed to hate the coven as much as Davina and Kaleb. Elena couldn’t exactly blame Sabine; none of her supposed friends had noticed that she was being possessed.

Rebekah had elected to stay in the city when she learned of her niece. She told her brothers she couldn’t let them outnumber Elena – which may or may not have led to a very confusing and hot dream that had her waking Klaus in the middle of the night; she blamed the hormones – and the baby. Elena had seen it in Rebekah’s eyes the day she had felt her niece kicking; she was excited about being an aunt.

Elena was certain between Klaus and Rebekah the baby would be spoiled rotten. Kol was certain to teach her his mischievous ways. Thankfully Finn and Elijah were calming influences so hopefully, fingers crossed, she wouldn’t be the only one playing bad cop from time to time.

She knew their daughter would have Klaus wrapped around her little finger; she already did and she hadn’t even been born yet.

Elena had collapsed in a fit of giggles when she returned from the campus the previous week with Rebekah. They had found four Originals surrounded by pieces of wood and frowning at the instructions for a crib that were supposedly in Swedish, but Klaus, Elijah and Kol had assured her that the booklet was complete gibberish and that they were not, in fact, to blame for the mess on the floor or the broken window; Finn had told her he didn’t know Swedish as he had been asleep when the rest had learned. Rebekah had sighed, said they were ‘all bloody useless’ and proceeded to assemble the crib; it took her ten minutes at a human pace to which her brothers had all insisted that they ‘could have done that’.

Kol pulled her from her thoughts when she giggled. “Something funny, darling?”

“No,” Elena covered her mouth to stifle her laugh, “I was just remembering your attempt to build the crib last week.”

“We didn’t need Rebekah’s help,” he scoffed and puffed out his chest.

“Right,” Elena drew out the word and smirked. “How long were you staring at the instructions again?” She saw him deflate from the corner of her eye. “That’s what I thought.”

“Did you have to come in today?” Kol quickly changed the topic and nodded to the nearly empty campus. “It’s a ghost town.”

“Technically I could have emailed my last paper,” a chill raced down her spine, “but things seemed a little tense this morning so I thought I’d get out for the afternoon.”

“You picked up on that huh?” Kol pulled open the door to the history building.

“If by ‘that’ you mean the daggers Klaus and Rebekah were glaring at each other,” Elena pushed the button for the elevator, “then yes. What’s going on with those two? They weren’t like that yesterday.”

“You really want to know?” He cocked his head and smirked. “Nik found out Rebekah’s been seeing her ex-lover, and he’s not happy about it.”

“Why not?” Elena pushed the button for the fourth floor. “Did he break her heart?”

“Nik never thought he was good enough for her,” Kol leaned against the elevator wall and slid his hands into his pockets.

“Klaus doesn’t think anyone’s good enough for her,” Elena rolled her eyes.

“I suppose there could be more to it,” Kol shrugged one shoulder, “or he’s just blowing things out of proportion. He does get a little testy around the full moon.”

“Really?” Elena smirked. Her pulse quickened when she thought of how Klaus had woken her that morning. “I would have said feral.”

Kol caught the twinkle in her eyes, smelt the desire in her blood and heaved an exaggerated sigh.

“I did not need to know that,” he shuddered dramatically, “we sound proofed the house for a reason.”

Elena’s laugh was cut off. She stumbled when the elevator came to a lurching stop between the second and third floor.

Kol’s arms moved in a blur to catch her. He steadied her with and arm around her waist and held her against his chest when the metal box began to shake.

She righted her feet, released his arm and blinked at the little emergency light; it was the only illumination in the otherwise dark elevator. The tiny red light cast an eerie glow across her skin.

“You know,” she patted her stomach, “three months from now this might have been the start of a bad sitcom episode.”

“Hilarious,” he paled at the thought, “but don’t go into labour. I’m not delivering my niece in an elevator.”

“In the aftermath of an earthquake,” she muttered. A line appeared between her brows when she caught the look on Kol’s face. “I’m not going to go in labour Kol.”

“What?” His head snapped from the doors to look at her. “I know that,” he waved dismissively. “I’m not worried about that. It’s the earthquake.”

“Worried about aftershock?” Elena attempted to lighten his mood. Fear gripped her throat; they were only suspended by a couple of cables. Would the fall from this height kill her?

“No,” he shook his head. He reached for her hand and held on until her heart began to slow down again. “The earthquake was after the elevator stopped.”

“You’re not getting paranoid are you?” Elena blinked. “I get enough of that from Klaus.”

Kol gave her a curious glance. He couldn’t argue that his brother was not a paranoid person; he often thought that everyone was out to get him. Kol was mildly surprised that Elena had managed to pick up on it though; Klaus had dialed it back a lot so that even his siblings struggled to see it. Who knew what went on behind that bedroom door when it was closed though?

“Don’t get me wrong,” she held up her hand, “I’m glad of the company, but I hardly need an Original following me everywhere I go.”

“If I hadn’t been here today you would have fallen flat on your face,” he reached out and rubbed her stomach, “and my poor niece would have been squished.”

Elena rolled her eyes and shook with a quiet laugh when the baby kicked Kol’s hand; she only kicked harder when he bent and scolded her bump in a teasing tone.

“Don’t kick me until you’re out; it’ll have a stronger impact.”

“… My poor little niece would have been squished.”

Sensitive ears picked up on the conversation happening in the otherwise empty building. The original assumption that what his strong eyes had seen was wrong flew from through the darkened halls and out the shattered window.

The woman’s voice was familiar, soft and well known; it was a voice that had been ingrained in his memory.

“So much for the plan,” he breathed.

The only question was: how dangerous would winging it be? He was going to have to get a lot farther a lot faster than anticipated.

He came to a stop when he reached the worn down shack. It was a perfect match for the one in Elena’s memory. The outside resembled a hovel, but he could tell by the lace curtains that someone lived there while the wolves roamed.

Holding his hands behind his back he strode towards the cabin giving anyone inside the chance to see his approach.

His feet made hollow steps over the wooden deck. His knuckles wrapped on the door in time with the steady human heart.

“You know I’m not going to invite you in?” A blonde woman stood on the opposite side of the screen door. She cocked an eyebrow and pushed her braid over her shoulder.

“I’ve come to talk,” he raised his hands, “and make an offer if you’ll hear me out, Eve.”

“You know my name,” she tilted her head, “you gonna tell me yours?” She might not have triggered her curse but she knew a vampire when she saw one and this one was also part wolf.

“You know who I am,” he raised a heavy brow.

“I know what you are,” Eve stepped out onto the porch, “but I don’t know your name; gossip doesn’t really reach me out here.”

“My name is Klaus,” he offered his hand, “Elena told me your name the other night.

“Ah,” she gave him a once over and ignored his hand. “You’re the father.” She grabbed the edges of her sweater and crossed her arms. “What do you want?”

Klaus lowered his hand to his side and smiled. He admired the woman’s no nonsense attitude; she didn’t beat around the bush.

“One of your pack came to the aid of Elena last month. I’ve come to offer my heartfelt gratitude.”

“Jackson’s still a wolf,” Eve met his eyes, “but I’ll be sure to tell ‘im you said thanks. You said something about an offer,” she prompted with a raised brow.

“Yes,” he nodded and glanced over his shoulder to a wolf along the edge of the clearing. “Elena informed me of your clan’s curse. I brought these for Jackson,” he pulled two vials from his pocket, “as a possible cure.”

“Blood?” Eve lifted the slim glass to the afternoon sun.

“Yes,” he nodded once.

“How stupid do you think we are?” She looked up from the vials. “Every wolf in New Orleans has heard about the sire bond that comes with turning.”

“No sire bond,” he met her sceptical eyes, “you have my word. Should Jackson choose to take my blood,” he tapped the first vial that had been labeled with initials, “and complete the transition,” he nodded to the vial of Elena’s blood, “I will not hold him to the bond; he will be released.”

“Why are you doing this?” Her eyes were narrow when she scrutinized him for and sign of deceit.

“He tried to help her. If I hadn’t heard him talking to her I might not have found Elena in time.” He cleared his throat and looked out over the lake; he could have lost them both that night. “The choice is his of course, but I hope you’ll relay the message.”

Before Eve could reply the ground beneath their feet shook violently. Tremors raced up their legs. The furniture in the small shack rattled and something fell and shattered.

Eve saw it in his eyes when he helped her to her feet again; she nodded once and saw him disappear before her eyes.

Rebekah flashed across the quaking street and pulled a small child and his mother out of the way of the crashing awning. From the corner of her eye she caught a glimpse of Marcel moving a couple of school children into a safe location.

The earthquake seemed to stop as suddenly as it began.

Kaleb rubbed soothing circles between Davina’s shoulder blades and did his best to ignore the rattling house and shattering picture frames.

He saw his fear reflected in Sabine’s eyes when he looked up from the dirt that had come from Davina’s body. He could feel the fire of a fever beneath her translucent skin.

Maybe it was his pounding heart that told Finn and Elijah he knew what was happening, or maybe it was the trepidation in his eyes. He had hoped this wouldn’t happen, but he knew that things were only going to get worse.

Klaus came to a stop outside the elevator doors where the scent of Elena and Kol cut off. He pried open the door and cursed when he saw the elevator twenty some feet above his head between the second and third floor.

It was a good thing the campus was empty because he didn’t bother making sure the coast was clear before running at vampire speed and coming to a stop outside the elevator on the third floor.

His blood boiled in his veins when he saw the doors already forced open and Kol sitting up with a groan.

“What happened?” Rage dripped from his tongue. There was no sign of Elena in the elevator or outside of it.

Kol rolled his neck and blinked as if coming out of a daze. He loathed being daggered but he honestly preferred the wake up to that of a broken neck. His eyes narrowed when he saw the elevator empty and his brother glaring down at him.

“The door was pried open; that was the last thing I saw before my neck was snapped. Where’s Elena?” He picked up her cell phone that had fallen onto the floor of the elevator and pulled himself out.

Klaus could barely breathe. He forced himself to inhale deeply though and shook; there was no lingering scent.

I Was Feeling Heroic Chapter 12;

Chapter 12 - I Was Feeling Heroic Series.

First Season.

Second Season.

Elijah fixes his tie as his eyes fall on Alex lying on his bed staring at him.

"Freya's going to place a barrier spell on the abattoir, nobody will be able to get in or leave," Elijah says as he turns to look at her. "And I don't wish for you to leave."

"But you want to leave?" Alex asks. "I'm coming along." Elijah picks up his blazer lying on the bed and pulls it on.

"Absolutely not," Elijah says, She rolls to the side of the bed and stood from it. "I have some business to discuss with Vincent."

"And that's a reason why I'm not coming?" Alex asks. "Don't be ridiculous, of course, I'm coming along."

"It's too dangerous, who knows what those fools are capable of doing," Elijah says, She narrows her eyes in annoyance.

"And that's exactly why I have to come along," Alex says. "You're in more danger than I am, they want you and your family, not me, I'm unkillable."

"I realize this." Elijah begins, he speeds towards Alex and placed his hand on her cheek, gently sliding his thumb over her cheek. "But I fear something might happen, even with the barrier spell around the abattoir."

"But you're the one outside, you'll be an easy target for those idiots," Alex says. "They will take you if they can't take anyone else."

"Then I shall do my best to protect myself." Elijah softly says, Alex lets out a sigh and placed her hand against his chest.

"If something happens to you..." Alex begins, she balls her hand into a fist against his chest. "And I can't get out of this forsaken place, I swear..."

"Nothing will happen to me," Elijah says, she looks up at him as he takes her fisted hand with his free hand.

"We just became official and now you want to do out, do you dislike me so much that you wish to get yourself killed?" Alex softly asks, she was conflicted, did he not like her as much as she had thought? Would he much rather go out on his own, fight off the danger on his own? If so, why not just break up with her.

"Of course not, But I do not want my family to be in danger," Elijah says. "As much as I trust that Freya will not fail, I fear that these witches have an upper hand in this fight, they will do anything in their power to get to us, I don't want my brother, my niece to be exposed without help." She looks down at the ground, his hand move from her cheek to underneath her chin. "Please, trust me, trust that I will be all right."

"As long as you know that I will be keeping an eye on you," Alex says, Elijah nods his head

"I wouldn't want to have it any other way," Elijah says. "I will be back soon, my sweet darling." The sound of jazz music outside was faint as he leaned in closer, his smell invaded her nostrils, he almost smelled like old books and wine, with a hint of burning fire, something she could have rubbed off on him, his lips brush against her, her scent invaded his space as she smelt like vanilla being burned, she leans closer against him, the warmth of her body consumed his cold one, he tasted the honey she poured on her pancakes earlier, her lips felt soft and warm against his.

Alex walks down the stairs seeing Klaus hitting the jawbone Hayley had brought, trying to break it, he drops the hammer to the ground when he saw Alex.

"Want to tell me why you're hitting it with a sledgehammer?" Alex asks, she walks towards him as he lets out a frustrated sigh.

"I'm trying to destroy the damned thing, but it doesn't want to break," Klaus says, he picks it up to see if he had done any sort of damage to it.

"It's not going to break," Alex says. "The amount of dark magic flowing through it is keeping it from being destroyed." Klaus slams the jawbone down on the table.

"Just great," Klaus mutters. "Where's Hope? I think I should spend some time with her before I give myself a heart attack." Alex snorts at his comment.

"All right, well, she's upstairs in the attic, be careful, your heart is weak," Alex says, Klaus rolls his eyes as a smile formed on his lips.

"Oh, you are hilarious," Klaus says as he walks past her towards the stairs, she softly giggles before going to the kitchen to make herself some coffee.

Two girls walk into the Lafayette cemetery talking to one another and laughing, one girl was holding her phone looking around with the flash on, they turn around only to see their friend with her throat cut, they gasp beginning to move backwards in fear.

"If there was another way..." Elijah says from behind them, he held a bloodied knife in his hand and his suit was already covered with blood.

"ELIJAH!" Alex screams as the vision flashed through her mind, she grabs her phone lying on the dining table in front of her and unlocks her phone, she opens her contacts searching for Elijah's name, she taps on his name and presses the phone against her ear. "Pick up, pick up." She was in shock, why hadn't she seen it coming? It rings a couple of times before going to voicemail. "For fuck sake, Elijah." She stood from the dining chair and exits the dining room just as Hayley and Klaus exit his study.

"I'm going to say goodnight to, Hope," Hayley says as she walks towards the stairs, Alex freezes as she hears something, Klaus appeared to hear something as well.

"Hayley, Wait!" Klaus says, Hayley stops turning to look at Klaus, a vampire appears behind her and snaps her neck, Klaus speeds towards the vampire and rips its heart out, Alex looks towards the front hearing a familiar laugh.

"Impressive boundary spell, unfortunately, it only lasts as long as the witch who cast it," Dominic says, several warlocks and witches follow behind him as they enter the abattoir.

"I thought I killed you, I should've known you were still alive, the other side was too quiet for you to be dead," Alex says as her eyes turn blue. "Oh well, I'm just going to have to make sure you die this time."

"Let's see how strong you really are," Dominic says, he begins chanting a spell while the other warlocks, witches and vampires attacked Klaus, Alex teleports herself in front of Dominic and wraps her hand around his throat.

"Let's see how strong your supposed saviour is," Alex says, she lifts him into the air and chokeslams him through a table, a weapon falls from his coat. "Oh, he brought a gift." Dominic reaches for it, groaning in pain, Klaus appeared next to Alex and slammed the now broken sledgehammer onto Dominic's hand, Alex crouches down by the weapon and picks it up, she could feel dark magic plaguing it.

"AHH!!" Klaus screams in pain as the other half of the sledgehammer was now lodged into his back, Alex stands setting the weapon on fire as Dominic mumbles a spell trying to weaken Klaus.

"Go find Marcel!" Dominic orders the remaining Hallow followers, he moves onto his knees turning to search for the weapon, hoping that one of the followers had managed to knock Alex unconscious, his eyes travel up Alex's leg seeing the weapon burning in her hand.

"This is the part where I was supposed to be unconscious, and you would get the weapon and kill him, right?" Alex asks as a devilish smirk appears on her lips. "I hate to break it to you, but that's not how this story goes." She steps towards him as Klaus removes the broken wood from his back. "That was some strong dark magic, too bad it's useless." She drops the burning weapon to the ground, she appears in front of Dominic as he still stood on his knees.

"You wi-" Dominic begins, but she cuts him off by placing her hand on the sides of his face.

"Shh, you're about to be in a lot of pain," Alex says, Klaus slams his hand into Dominic's chest. "See you on the other side." Klaus rips his heart from his chest and drops it to the ground.

"I need to find Hope," Klaus says, he sounded exhausted, but he needed to be sure that his daughter was safe, Alex could hear more Hallow followers approaching.

"She's with Marcel, take Hayley's and go, more are coming." Alex says, Klaus speeds towards Hayley's unconscious body and picks her up, he looks at Alex. "Go, you don't want to see the demon." Klaus was told of her demon side, and that it was dangerous when it took control.

"Good luck," Klaus says before disappearing, Alex looks towards the entrance as more witches, warlocks and vampires enter.

"Let's have some fun!" Alex says in a deep rough voice as her entire body engulfs with holy fire, the demon now being given full control of her.

Alex stares up at Elijah as she laid on his bed, burning to ask him something, he sits down on the bed next to her.

"Do you remember what it was like being human?" Alex finally asks, he had arrived home after she had fought the Hallow's followers, murdering most of them.

"Strange question, Vincent had asked me the same question earlier as well," Elijah says, Alex pushes herself into a sitting position.

"Now I'm the one asking," Alex says.

"To be honest, no, I do not," Elijah says, Alex nods her head.

"You killed three innocent girls today, you do realize that, right?" Alex asks.

"I did what had to be done," Elijah says, his voice sounding cold.

"Did it have to be done? Or did you just go with the first option that was given to you?" Alex asks. "Humans are fragile, and they only get one chance in life, unless they have vampire blood in their system, or if they're like me."

"They were brought back." Elijah defends.

"You still killed them." Alex states. "You didn't stop to think about the consequences, what if it wasn't Davina that brought them back? What if it was something else?"

"What other choices were there? Something had to be done." Elijah says, he was becoming irritated with her, and she quickly picked it up.

"There are plenty of options, but you acted, just like you did with Marcel, and that's why he's so strong because you didn't stop to think for a second." Alex spits out, she stood from the bed as Elijah reached for her. "I should go before I do or say something I might regret."

"Wait," Elijah says, but she had already disappeared from his room, he lets out a sigh and runs his hand through his hair.

The Originals 4x12

My God!! What an episode!! I’ve been missing for few weeks so I haven’t had the chance to comment the previous two episodes of The Originals, but now here I am. I’ve just finished watching 4x12 and, guys... really, this season has the potential of a final season well, I remember that the finale was thought like it was a series finale because the renewal was still uncertain, but the good news is that we now for sure that in the next season we’ll have a teenager Hope.

I want to say just a few things regarding this story: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SUMMER FONTANA. She is a perfect, brilliant little child with an amazing talent. The way she portrays both Hope and the Hollow is extraordinary. I know that she won’t be in the next season and this makes me really sad because not only she has proven to be the core of the cast and a wonderful little actress, but also this will mean that, unless JP does the Academy spin-off with Hope, Lizzie and Josie as children, the only way we could see her will be by flashbacks. Anyway, there is still an episode left, but I really hope and wish our littlest wolf Summer a brilliant career after this experience! <3

Well, coming back IT, in this episode we have seen how the power of Inadu is beyond every expectation. I have already said that I don’t like her at all. She is PURE EVIL, no more no less. The way she didn’t even blink when Vincent announced her that her own mother had given him the spell to trap her eternally made my spine chill. This is the very first time in both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals that we see a character who is utterly evil. Because more or less all the villains in the show had a background story which explained their actions. Inadu is basically Kai Parker with the Devil’s power. And Kai was a self-admitted psycho who didn’t hesitate to slaughter his whole family, pregnant twin sister, siblings, almost killing her nieces, only because his mind was f?cked up. At least Kai was hilarious... Inadu is not funny. When I read the early scripts about her character, she, as Samir, told Vincent that she was a god. I was curious because after having had the Hell and the Devil in TVD, it seemed to me that in TO we would have had another kind of supernatural beings. Now, I am perfectly fine with the mythology of wolves, because we have finally known how the curse was created, but Inadu is a boring child with an insatiable hunger. She has not a definite goal like the other villains, she wanted to be reborn in the real world and being worshiped. Now, using the body and powers of Hope, who is the strongest witch ever seen, what? I don’t know the sense of her actions. Also, not that she has been saying something more about her motivations... Idk, like “Fine, I want to make my bloodline to pay for the sins of who killed me”, like Cade in TVD... no, she isn’t interested in this, she is madly fine with destroying everything, everyone, being worshiped and satisfying her endless hunger for power. Well, but dearie... what are your motivations?? She is only pure evil and she enjoys it. Well, this makes her a boring character, to me. I don’t know, I was expecting more... that’s why I am not satisfied with her character... and the only thing I want is her to be annihilated once for good, no matter what. 

Also... connected to this: I honestly thought that the Hollow’s existence was somehow related to Vincent’s unborn child, but this was a red herring. Perhaps originally her intention was to use the child to be reborn, but she failed because of Vincent... mh... anyway, Vincent’s character is amazing! I am not a huge fan of him, to be honest, but he is one hell of a witch, guys. The way he pronounces his spells, his posture and gestures... wow! My only regret is that he has never wanted to collaborate with Freya. But one thing I admire about him is his integrity. He is strong-willed and determined to do whatever has to be done in order to protect his city, scheming plans even risking his own life.

Speaking of which, I have absolutely adored seeing the Mikaelsons, Marcel and Sofya working together under Vincent’s orders. They have finally understood that the only way to face this danger is working together.  I am very happy for Sofya and Marcel (yes, the fact that Marcel and Rebekah are fantastic together doesn’t help but Marcel has become wiser and realistic and his words are foreseeing that Rebekah will always choose her family first). I’ve never been a great fan of Sofya, but I think that she and Marcel deserve happiness and they’re truly in love (I’ve never seen Marcel so determined *only for Davina* and Sofya’s tears when she awoke were really sincere ç_ç). Let’s pray this to be not a death flag... ç_ç JP, this is for you:

BTW, let’s talk about a story... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO HAYLIJAH?????? Ok, I’ve read many Klayley comments happy with what happened to them, but guys... mh... I dare say to wait for another episode before talking. MN once said that Elijah and Hayley are crossed lovers (I’ve always said that they are the Yume of TO) and they would have been through many difficulties in this season but he never said that they aren’t one for each other. I’ve always liked thaet fact that both Klaus and Hayley share a very good relationship and go along well, but they are more very good friends. I can’t see tension between them, but more a mutual, silent understanding. Is this love? Perhaps it is a form of love, but we have seen Klaus in love and it was with Camille. Now, I’ve been Klaroline since season 2 of TVD, but Klamille was love. On Hayley’s side, she admitted that Jackson would have been better, nor Klaus. In her mind, she saw Jackson, not Klaus. But apart from this, Hayley said that she is not scared of Elijah, because she knew his nature, his impulses, she knew his dark nature and she loved him because/despite this. This is a very important fact to consider, because Hayley has never refused this side of Elijah. She knew what he was, she had always known. But seeing and feeling herself his true nature is another fact. She is not scared for herself, she is scared because she doesn’t want her daughter to feel that being in love with a monster capable of doing inenarrable atrocities is normal. To be honest, this sounds quite odd, especially when everybody in the Mikaelson family is that kind of person, and the fact that Klaus talked to Hope with his heart on his hand about his past is indicative of how Hayley hasn’t realized how strong her daughter is and how Elijah loves both.  Speaking of this... ç____ç My heart hurt so much when I saw Elijah’s attempts to talk to Hayley... and I really appreciated that both Klaus and Rebekah tried to persuade Hayley of his goodness. Because Elijah is good. And no matter what, if the situation requires him to step back, he is ready to do it, in order to let Hayley and Hope be happy. His discourse to Klaus about taking Hope and Hayley and going away from NoLa... ç___ç I wonder how and what will happen.... I have the feeling that the spell will require more than the end of Always and Forever... perhaps it will erase the memory of everybody? This is the only way I can imagine Hayley and Klaus let their daughter go to Mystic Falls and the four of them (hello Kol, I am happy with your happy ending but.. -_________-”) to forget who they are (in terms of being relatives)? OMG.

Anyway... final part: “Before you were born, I was a very different creature. I was cruel and I would revel in the terror which I inspired in others. But Hope, from the moment I saw you, I wanted nothing more than to be worthy of being your father. But I’m afraid, Hope, I am afraid without you I’ll return to the darkness. So I need you. I need you to fight”. This is Klaus Mikaelson and Hope is his heart and soul. I can’t say how much I was happy to hear these words... I bet that Camille would be proud of him. And I am quite sure that these words will help Hope (who seems totally lost in Inadu now) to re-awake and re-taking control of her body, mind and soul. Because she is connected to her parents and to the undying and infinite love that they have for her. ç_ç<3

The Originals Ep 407 Recap & Review “High Water & a Devil’s Daughter” #TheOriginals

Episode grade: 9

Hope, an incredibly precocious girl, is wandering around the Mikaelson compound. She can read, and she has witchy powers…it’s actually an amazing stroke of luck that she hasn’t yet happened on one of Esther’s old grimoires and accidentally conjured something awful. Right now, she’s reading creepy poems and getting curious about the little boy who used to live in her house. That boy, of course, is our good friend, Marcellus. 

Because Freya’s cloaking spell only hides Marcel from those outside the Mikaelson bloodline, Hope walks right up to him and says hello. (This kid’s awesome. Kudos to the showrunners for creating a child character who’s really adding to the show, which is quite rare.)

Keelin tells Freya she’s gotten a job in town and plans to stick around. They keep playing the “unspoken thing” here, and I’m already bored of it. Just admit you’re into each other already. 

Vincent is polishing the sacred blade from the Harvest ritual, ruminating on the link to the Ancestors. The Harvest ritual was what kept the link alive all those years, until he severed it. Davina, one of the last-ever Harvest Girls, remains a specter over everything they do in this town, a loss they’ve never healed from.

Elijah shows up for a chat, and of course, he steals the blade. He reckons he’s figured out what needs to be done to restore the link so that the Ancestors can help restrain the Hollow as they did in ages past. Yup, Elijah’s going to have a Harvest ritual.

He calls Vincent to the cemetery to show him the four young women with slit throats, and Vincent’s reaction is almost hilarious, all That’s not how any of this works! 

Elijah’s intractable, as ever, simply telling Vincent he will have to make it work. Vincent is really in a bad place…four of the daughters of witch families in New Orleans are lying dead at his feet, and if he can’t throw together a successful Harvest ritual, they’ll just stay dead. 

His ritual isn’t going so well, until he breaks into Davina’s tomb and uses her remains to connect to her rather than the Ancestors who may not be on his side anymore. He asks Davina to help him save these Harvest Girls, and she comes through. I can’t help hoping that this means we’re actually going to see Davina again this year, one way or another.

In the meantime, Freya’s spotted Dominic, the High Priest of the Hollow, walking through the Quarter, very much alive. She has laid a trap for him, using Josh as Marcel-shaped bait. Charles Michael Davis playing Josh’s amusement at briefly looking like Marcel is a highlight.

Dominic is way too smart to fall for this ruse, but Freya still gets the upper hand, at least briefly. Unfortunately, he’s picked up on her weakness; he taunts her with the revelation that he’s sent a gang of his goons to kill Keelin, because he’s seen the way Freya looks at her. 

The threat does exactly what he hoped; Freya loses control, and he gets loose. He kills her, but his goons aren’t having quite the same luck with Keelin. She wolfs out and presumably kills them all, then finds Freya in time to work her medical magic. (Literally medical, not literally magic!)

Dominic has gathered his forces and gone to the Mikaelson compound to capture Marcel and kill everything that moves. But he underestimates Klaus, whose fatherly impulses make him even more badass than usual. This time, Dominic gets his fool head knocked off, so good luck reviving the corpse this time!

After taking down all the Hollow’s minions, Klaus rushes to find Hope, and he realizes she’s with Marcel, who’s no longer in his tomb. He finds Hope’s bracelet discarded on the ground, but I’m not even a little bit worried, because…

When trouble was brewing, Marcel told Hope he would protect her; he just needed her to open his magic cage so he could fight. She said that, as a Mikaelson witch, she wasn’t afraid of anything, and again I thought, this kid is awesome. Marcel invoked “always and forever,” and Hope knew, as I did, that everything was going to be all right.

Klaus finds Marcel and Hope together, safe, and getting along famously. It’s enough to inspire him to ask Marcel to be, if not family again or even friends, at least allies.

Across town at the cemetery, Vincent is making it clear to Elijah just how much he doesn’t enjoy this buddy-cop dynamic they’ve got going; he calls Elijah a punk. I laughed out loud, how about you?

Freya tries pushing Keelin away, because Keelin’s already been successfully used against her, and love is weakness, etc. Keelin’s much tougher than Freya though; she verbalizes the unspoken thing, and they finally kiss. 

Finally, Sofya started out the episode getting stuck with the blade of psychic torment, now known to be a bone from the Hollow’s original body. She wakes up from her torture in the old Hollow house, and she’s immediately inhabited by the Hollow’s blue, glowy energy. Not like I liked Sofya or anything, but I’m worried about Marcel, who trusts her and will probably let her get really close before realizing something’s off about her.
